Don’t let the looks on the outside fool you, this place is fabulous and worth a visit if you’re in town. Locals must know about it since it’s been open 25+ years. New owner is super friendly and you could tell all staff love serving you. Great breakfast at excellent prices. Easy walk from the strip. Food portions are large, so come hungry.

I’ve walked and driven past this place a lot on my way to Wyndham Desert Blue where I usually stay. The outside looks iffy but once you get inside it’s quaint, cozy, very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. Large portions of yummy food, house salsa is not spicy but very flavorful. I had the Scam Connection. Only drawback for me was the lack of decaf coffee. I will be coming back for sure.

What a hidden gem. This is a primo restaurant in disguise. From the outside you would think it's a greasy spoon truck stop. Inside it is adorable, friendly staff and incredible food. Good portions at a reasonable price. Clean and modern decor interior. (Even though you can tell it's old) 7 tables and 6 booths. I would highly recommend you give them a try.

don't let the outside deceive you. Hidden gem, please don't leave. In spite of the exterior giving the impression that the building was in disrepair, the cafe I entered was lovely, clean, and pleasant, with all the standard breakfast fare to, if you prefer, a touch of Latin flavour. Lovely place.

Polaris Street Cafe is really good! The skillets and french toast are amazing and it's great quantity of food for the price. Servers are kind and its not too busy. It's nice to get away from the overpriced hotel breakfasts and smoke filled casinos.

Polaris Street Cafe what can you say about it I've been in Vegas is 1973 and if memory serves me right I want to stay we probably been eating there for at least 40 years maybe 35 but it's well organized it's clean it's neat it's alive it's family-oriented the food is damn good too and let me tell you what she better be ready to eat and you better be ready to pay and get the hell out because let me tell you what they don't mess around when they serve you but the nice thing about it is if you sit there and enjoy the coffee and the people around you they won't mind about that either like I said it's Logan I just need clean not expensive and Buddhist and good damn good here's to the find staff at Polaris Street Cafe y'all did a fantastic job as usual thank you. We ate here, mainly because it was near where we were driving, and we had never heard of it. OMG! It was sooooo good! I had the Chilaquiles, with chorizo, and I was super impressed. The service was outstanding, and our whole group agreed it was some of the best food we’d had on our 10-day road trip across the Western US. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I love the hidden gem factor of this breakfast cafe! The service is exquisite and food delicious! I ordered the corned beef hash and highly recommend it! English Muffin is very fresh and buttery. Potatoes not very browned inside, I'd personally ask to have them cooked well next time. Good bacon and scrambled eggs. Homestyle breakfast, diner style seating. The restaurant closes early fyi, check for hours. Don't let outside appearance deter you if looking for a homemade breakfast! 👍👍

This place was a short walk from the Wyndham Desert Blue and it was worth the walk. There was a bit of a wait to get our food once we were seated, but it was a busy time. Food was excellent and the servers were polite and attentive. Worth a trip.

The food was outstanding. There are a lot of ways a country fried steak skillet breakfast could go wrong, but it was pulled of very nicely. The ingredients were done well (veggies, potatoes, eggs, etc) and everything was balanced (not too much gravy or cheese). They were crazy busy on a Saturday morning but they were still polite and attentive.

Highly recommend this spot! We had an incredible breakfast. The corn beef hash and omelets were amazing. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Was a welcomed relief to have a homemade breakfast after days of casino food. Really lucky we found this on Google and tried it. Definitely not a tourist spot. My wife and I loved this place! After several days over over-priced hotel meals and being service like cattle, coming here was a great choice. The food was great and generous, service was fast and friendly. They were quite busy for our late breakfast, so ou may consider arriving earlier for immediate seating. Yes, it a converted gas station, but don't let the deter you! Highly recommend!

This Cafe is a hidden gem. Location around the corner from Wyndham Desert Blue. They serve breakfast from open to closing (3PM). The food portions are enough to share and the prices very reasonable. The staff were pleasant and very informative. The Strawberry mimosa is great 👍🏽

This little cafe is worth the drive off the strip. They have an excellent menu with vegetarian options and the service was exceptional. I couldn’t help but notice how careful they were and that they gave everyone a sanitized clean menu. Everyone was given new drinks and nothing was ever refilled. These are the details that made dining in Vegas comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

Super friendly staff & owners! Our wait time on a busy Saturday morning was only about 20 minutes which was cool too... southwest skillet was a hit. Wasn't impressed with the chicken fried steak skillet- had hardly any gravy, and maybe 4 bites of steak which was a bummer.... and its way bigger on the inside than it looks haha. MOST outstanding breakfast in Vegas! We have had our annual vacation to Vegas since 2017 - that's the first time we found Polaris. We go every year (at least once, maybe more!) and have always been lovely. It's nice to find a place near by with good, quality food that doesn't break the bank. Customer service was great. Love the little twists on basic breakfast staples, my Huevos Rancheros was a pleasant surprise! Not to mention the new upgrades to the restaurant have positively transformed atmosphere; it was so charming! We love Polaris!

We found this hole in the wall eatery by just googling breakfast near me. Let me tell you all, the food, the people, the experience was all 10/10!!! Their Chilaquiles are 🔥!!! Don't judge this book by its cover. We walked up and almost turned around. Glad we didn't, it was clean, had great food and fantastic service. We'll be back for breakfast again. Just had 3rd breakfast in a row. BTW , this place is also 1/2 the cost of other places in the area. My advice dress up exterior or move and franchise those recipes. Just fantastic.

We were visiting Vegas from Canada, and I'm pretty sure the 10 minute walk from the strip almost killed me. But it was worth it. I had the huevos rancheros and it was ridiculously good. My wife had their huge breakfast which was also excellent. Coffee was good, refills were frequent, and the staff were kind and friendly.

Checked out this cafe because 10hours prior it was playing on Restaurant impossible in our hotel and definitely wanted to check out how it has been kept up since Robert Irvine helped renovate and revive the menu. 5 stars! I wish I took pictures of the actual decor and interior but we ordered Robert's dishes from the show (aside from the chicharrones sold out 😭) and they were amazing in flavor and taste. I definitely want to come back whenever I'm in town.

The outside looks like an old beat up gas station. You double check to make sure the address is correct; the sign says Breakfast - but the building! Surely this can not be one of the best breakfast places in Las Vegas..... DO NOT WALK AWAY! In LV visiting MiL over Tgvg week. I DuckDuckGoed "Breakfast in Las Vegas" for we did not want casino food. It was not far away from the Rio so we went. Could not believe the outside. See first paragraph. I told the girls that the best places usually look like dives.... they laughed. The inside is small; maybe a capacity of 40. The staff is friendly and accommodating. THE FOOD IS AWESOME! The Santa Fe Skillet is REAL, spicy and filling. The Denver omlet, though simple ingredients, was one the best I have had. I asked for well done hash browns and they came perfectly crispy as I like. The kids loved their french toast and waffles. NEXT TIME IN VEGAS, THERE IS NO QUESTION AS TO WHERE WE WILL BE GETTING OUR BREAKFASTS! PS: 2022-11 We are in the middle of inflation. The menus were all price hand updated, presumably to keep up with ever increasing wholesale pricing. We had no issues with pricing.

The inside is much nicer than the outside so don't let that scare you. The food was delicious and all staff I had the pleasure of speaking to were very welcoming and helpful. I went with one of Robert Irvines dishes and let me tell you the beef torta was to die for. The tender meat balanced with a jalapeño mayo, pickled onions and of course avocado all framed in a delicious torta bun. Underneath this was a bed of crispy very well seasoned fries. The fries are a perfect accompaniment to soak up all that wonderful sauce from the beef. Will definitely be back when I pass through again.

Best breakfast spot in town. It's a few blocks away from the strip. We came into town for my husband's birthday and so glad we found this hidden gem. The food was fire 🔥🔥🔥 The service is great and the owner even stopped by our table to say hello. Don't be fooled by the exterior it may look like a gas station stop but it definitely isn't. I ordered the carne asada skillet and my husband got the country fried steak skillet both were so tasty. Definitely recommend this spot 👌

Biscuits and gravy in LV are just strange to me. If you like traditional southern gravy forego this dish. The farmers breakfast and the pancakes are where it's at! If you did not plan to come here, you may drive by without noticing it. The exterior looks like it was an old gas station complete with steel bars in the window. It is not the most welcoming exterior. The interior is nice and clean. The menu is huge with a lot of choices at reasonable prices. For a Wednesday morning, there were not many people in the restaurant. I ordered an avocado skillet and it was great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The reason for the "one star" loss is the drink pricing policy, otherwise they are a five star location.... I know they need to make a profit, but to price an iced tea at 25% of the meal price is a bit ridiculous. Maybe their customers do not tip well and they have to do this.. who knows. With a 20% tip, the meal came out to just about $18. What started out as a reasonable breakfast got expensive quick.

This is my second time trying this place, the food is really good especially breakfast. Had the Santa Fe skillet. As you can see in the picture it's a pretty big skillet, even though there's more potatoes, it was made very well. The prices are reasonable as well. And the place looks nicer since it's been remodeled inside.. I do recommend this place for breakfast. It's also recommended that you call ahead, due to limited seating. I will be back.

I was looking for places close to the Rio for breakfast. The Polaris Cafe popped up and I'm glad. It was probably thee best breakfast experience I have ever had. Everything seemed to be from scratch including the sausage links. The french toast was great but the pancakes were phenomenal. I'd recommend this place anytime. It's a little unassuming but quite the gem. It's in walking distance from the hotel if you go out by the convention exit.

AMAZING no-frills-no-nonsense breakfast place. You get more than what you actually pay, in my opinion. Portions are very generous and the food was absolutely delicious. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty, and the bacon avocado omelet was just heavenly. Please don't judge this place by its cover. Looks like a gas station from the outside, but man, do they serve some good food. Waiters were also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

From outside even with the open sings it’s looks like closed gas station but when you enter inside it’s takes you to Elvis times with their oldies photos on the walls. My brother even asked me did we time travelled? Do you think Elvis will enter from this door? Red checkered table cloths definitely created a cozy feelings. Friendly service and timely mannered freshly cooked food. It was hot they our kids had to wait a little. Yes all the food pleased everyone at the table and it was budged friendly. Even I hit the jackpot yes I will go back there and eat again.

First off the location I believe it's choice not too much traffic but everybody who goes there knows where to go. Secondly customer service was friendly as family. I got the Carne Asada Skillet 😳 😍 and it was "bussin": adjective; usually describes something is really really good 😋. But I will be returning in the near future I highly recommend it. 💯💯💯

I love finding the non-chain, “mom and pop” place and Polaris Street Cafe did not disappoint! My husband and I ate every morsel of food. Waitstaff was friendly, the owner came out and conversed with us, and the establishment was very clean. We will visit again the next time we are in Las Vegas!

Amazing restaurant! My sister mom and grandma found this hidden gem as we were leaving Vegas and are so happy we stopped there. Lots of variety on the menu (try the “shrimp mango tacos”), staff is so accommodating and friendly, interior is adorable, and the food is outstanding.

Had brunch here on our last trip to Vegas, and definitely will be coming back. All the food was delicious but especially the chilaquiles and French toast. Staff was really kind and friendly as well.

I will say the country gravy on the country streak is not your typical. It has bacon in it so it was not what we were expecting but still fine.

One of my favorite hole in a wall places here in Vegas except this one is a hole in an old gas station. Their prices are super reasonable and the service was pretty quick. They have a good menu with simple yet delicious items. If you can't decide between pancakes and French toast, go with the French toast. It's 10X better.

I had the Mexican breakfast burrito. I thought it was very good. I'll give it an 8/10. My son had the sanafe burrito. He gives it a 7/10 (not to be compared with my scale). His girlfriend had the steak omelet. I had a bite. The steak is a bit chewy and overall it lacked taste. The hot cakes are large and fluffy, but only average tasting. Overall I think the place is worth going to. It seams popular. I would recomend it.

Hey! Are you looking for probably the best breakfast in Vegas?!? This is the place. We were looking for a good breakfast without the strip prices. We had no idea this place was on restaurant impossible. Do not let the outside fool you. The staff was very polite and we were seated in only a few minutes after getting here. We ordered coffee and OJ. They got it fast. The coffee was fresh and hot. There was never an empty glass during the entire meal. Oh and the food.... Table of 7 we had pancakes, eggs, sausage, breakfast burritos, and omelette. The portions were perfect as was the quality of food. Everything arrived hot and at the same time. You can tell the food is good when it gets quiet when the food arrives. To the owner and staff.... Keep up the fantastic work.

Chose this as a breakfast place based on the ratings. The service was really friendly and gave off a family run business vibe which was lovely. I ordered a skillet which was nice with biscuits and gravy which were unpalatable. They tasted like they were made of only flower and water and left your mouth feeling pasty. My eating partner order the diablo which read as if it came with two eggs, choice of two links or bacon, two pancakes, and two french toast or biscuits and gravy, but arrived with no pancakes. Not a big deal I know but he had ordered it because he was quite hungry. Well I have to say they have an interesting way of cooking the French toast as it was completely uncooked in the middle, resembling that of bread pudding more than french toast and was a bit an appetizing.

Looks like its run down from the outside but it's very nice and maintained on the inside. GREAT food and prices are good, which was refreshing after overpaying for not great food all week in Vegas. Just west of the strip but on the other side of the freeway. If you brought your car definitely visit. Or even rideshare there, you'll probably still save money including that plus will be satisfied by the food. They are open till 3 not 1 (I suggested edit on the maps page). Breakfast food with a lot of Mexican slanted breakfast options as well.

I was visiting Vegas & wanted to grab breakfast before heading to Red Rock Canyon. Casino prices are crazy, quality & service are lacking at most places. Stopped here based on other reviews and was pleasantly surprised. (Don’t let the bars on windows scare you, the area is OK). Clean interior, staff was very friendly and food was really good. I got a skillet, can’t remember which. It actually had spices and flavors you don’t find at typical breakfast joints. Next time I’m in town, I’d go back.

What a great find, just off the strip. All Covid protocols were being followed including making sure everyone entering the restaurant had a mask on, all the staff had masks on, and special attention was being given to making sure everything was sanitized. It's nice to be able to trust a restaurant to do the right thing, The servers and other staff were very professional and friendly. To food was hot, fresh and delicious. I have no problem recommending Polaris Street Cafe. Nice job all around.

Went there twice during our stay. Food is awesome. Carne asada skillet was tasty. Portions are big. Lumberjack is enough for two people. Even thier coffee is good. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Restaurant is clean. Only a 3 minute drive from Rio hotel. If you want a good reasonably price meal, this is the place to go.

I've been coming here for awhile. I work down the street, so it's super convenient. However, the food is exceptional. I enjoy my breakfast here and they make it perfect. Their lunch specials are great, whether you do a sandwich or watching what you eat and go for a salad. Ive not been disappointed with the quality of the food and the guys are here are too notch in service. It's a small place, but it has a lot of heart. This is the type of place that Vegas locals love and appreciate and if you're on the strip on vacation it's not far at all. Highly recommended!

Never disappointed. I had training for a week nearby and some co workers and I looked this place up and we all were so happy we did. This place is truly one of the best in Las Vegas. Food was excellent (very much recommend pancakes) but I tried something different every day and was never disappointed. After reading the online reviews my husband and I decided to try it out for ourselves. Boy are we glad we did, we were in town celebrating our 20th anniversary and we both said it was the best meal we had the entire time we were there. The only bad thing, was that we went on Saturday and wanted to come back for breakfast before we left on Sunday only to find out that they were closed. Pretty good place close to the Rio to grab some breakfast. I saw all the reviews and had to give it a try. The place isn't 5 stars, I based my stars on the food and services. The food was pretty good for a small in the wall place only problem is I waited like an extra 10 minutes for my pancakes after I had already gotten my food. The pancakes were not good what so ever. The server was too busy talking, I guess that's why he forgot to get my order of pancakes. Like I said, food was food except for the pancakes and the server talking.

My husband and I are from Texas and we just ate here and this food is seriously better than anything we have had on the strip so far. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was so fresh and delicious! Plus they deliver for free within 3 miles of the establishment! We will definitely be ordering again tomorrow before we head off to the airport!

Solid breakfast food and quick service make this a very solid option for a morning stop. The place is most likely family owned as that is the atmosphere presented. The ingredients are not as fresh as you might hope but they dress them up best that they can. It's not 5 star dining but for the price it's hard to top.
