Visited Mariscos El Puerto today for lunch. It wasn't crowded which was nice. First let me say the staff were great at this place. Considering there were no Spanish speakers in my group and most of the staff and customers speak Spanish, everyone did there best to make us feel welcome. Now lets get to the food which I thoroughly enjoyed. First let me say, the portions of everything we had were huge. Appetizers were Empanadas, two types, plain shrimp and bacon, cheese and shrimp. The plain shrimp Empanadas were tasty but a little salty, the mixed ones were right on point. I liked both varieties, now on to the main course, Charola El Puerto, this was a mixed seafood dish with fajita type vegetables cooked in a tasty sauce, to say the dish was huge is an understatement. Two people chowed down on it and there was enough left to fill a small aluminum foil catering dish to take home. It had shrimp, octopus and fried squid along with the vegetable mix. It was very filling and will probably be good for two more meals at home. It also came with a large fresh garlic bread. This was an unusual bread for me in that it was made from a bread that was light and sweet to begin with. All in all I will be going back to sample some more items in the near future. This was a delicious example of truly authentic Mexican food in Las Vegas.

Was waiting for my windows to be tinted across the street at Desert Tint so we had some time to kill. They recommended this place and it not disappoint. We had a few drinks, pina colada and modelo pictured. We ate the raw shrimp ceviche and the Camarones costa azul. Our server Liz was awesome and very sweet. She explained great dishes for us and took great care of us while we were there. Their women’s bathroom was so clean and smelled great. Would definitely come here again!!

Dont really like seafood myself but I will enjoy a shrimp cocktail... this has been the best place to have one. Makes me feel like I'm beach a beach in Mexico. It has music playing and t.vs .it can get a little load here but overall it's awesome! Service is good too even at their busiest time. Weekends usually have a long wait.. prepare yourself for a 45 min wait.

The food was awesome. The Tostada suprema was A Lot of food, 2 people can share it for sure. Michelada was bomb! It's VERY LOUD and busy for Sunday lunch so be prepared for that. Just wish we had some breaks from the loud singing every often. Hemce the 4 star rating.

I love this place! Authentic Mexican seafood. Most of the people in here seem to order some type of shrimp sandwich that has a long loaf of bread and a lot of shrimp. There were watermelon that had wine in them. They were individual and group watermelons. They only serve beer and wine there's no hard alcohol. So your margarita is made with wine.

Really good Happy hour special! Typically Mon through Fri they have dollar beers and two dollars tostada's. Highly recommend the octopus taco. I know what you are thinking, but try it and it will change everything you know about seafood.

This place is unmatched. Every time I come, I try something different and it always taste SOOO good. The food is served hot with tons of flavor and just the right amount of spices. I've been to some places similar to this and if one thing is good something else is not. Here the rice is so good I wish I knew how to make it, the beans are magic beans and even the garnished salad is good. They use quality seafood, even their crab legs are DELICIOUS! They serve them in different flavors, if you like garlic like I do I suggest you try the buttered garlic crab legs, the garlic is roasted and the butter is light and adds just the right amount of lip smacking goodness to the crab legs. Save some rice or bread on the side to avoid wanting to lick the plate of garlic butter sauce lol. The only downside is the entire menu is in Spanish and most of the people that work here only speak Spanish, they are very nice but I can see how this might make some people feel uncomfortable coming here. I was able to look up an old menu to order from but even that was difficult when communicating with my waitress, in the end we worked it out. The cook ended up stepping out briefly, we were here to celebrate my baby girl's birthday so he wished her a happy birthday. I caught on to the fact that he had more of a street accent and asked for assistance, he hooked us up and everything was great. They sang happy birthday to her and we had a good time. So if you do come here and need some help ask for the cook 😁👍

Food was phenomenal! Fresh. Service was great. My only complaint was that after the first dish was served it took 30 minutes to get the last 2 kids their food. Food came out 2-3 dishes every 10 minutes or so. Great place. I plan on going again.

We had a great meal here. The ceviche was fresh and tasty, the grilled octopus was the best octopus I've had outside of Mexico. The music was a little noisy, but we were right in front of a speaker and other seats might not be as loud, depending on your cantina tastes. Another diner ordered the seafood molcajete. I'm definitely trying that the next time I visit, looked amazing!

For starters, I would like to take this time to appreciate our waiter, Liz. Liz was extremely nice and always tended to our needs. It was truly a 5 star for customer service. The one problem that I experienced at the restaurant was that the music was EXTREMELY OBNOXIOUS AND LOUD. This made it difficult to order our food and it was startling every time a new song was played, therefore resulting to an uncomfortable experience. Besides the music issue, the food was great. There was not one bland plate of food, and my tastebuds were tingling. I’m going to be sleeping good tonight.

This place is a small restaurant with live music. Musicians are entertaining you while you're dining. It was a different experience. I enjoyed it but it's sort of pricey. What I didn't like was the food. I ordered tacos I think & they were hard as a box of rocks. Did not enjoy the meal. The only thing we liked was the salsa. Drinks were those small glass bottles of soda that you had to constantly pay for because there's no refills. So if you like chips & salsa this is perfect. We didn't really know what we were ordering because it was in Spanish.

The food is delicious! The wait ridiculous even with a reservation but I guess it's worth it. The staff most of them are very friendly. The only thing is that their music is always so loud. A place to eat and get out of there. Definitely not a place to have a date or for any type of conversation since you can't hear each other. But like I said the food is so good.

I am not a big seafood fan, but the reason I give it a 5 is because my dad and sister. They love the seafood here and demolish everything in front of them. They come here often and always. From what I tasted it was really good. But my sister and dad love it. It's small and cozy. The only real complaint is that the live music and that is too much especially in space that like that. Food is amazing and definitely worth trying

Plate presentation always looks good. So far everything else high has filled me up pretty good but could use some fresher ingredients or something I can't quite put my finger on it but I could use a little pick-me-up in the flavor department. Not a bad place at all just not the best I've ever had.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon, it seemed like we were going to have to wait, but they seated us right away. The prices of the food are decent, in my opinion. We ordered half a dozen oysters and they were served on tray. One of the oysters wasn't even on the shell, and half of them were falling off the shells. That was not good. The waitress handed us a cup of limes she had on a tray with trash(used napkins) all over it. It looked like she got the cup from another table who didn't use them and was giving them to us. Gross. We also got carne asada and coctel camaron. They were okay, I've had better. Overall it was okay but I dont think I we'll be coming back

Menu pictures are not the same to what you actually order. The alcoholic drinks they serve is more juice than anything. The food is good and great taste, but if im going to pay $25 for a dish and $13 for a drink they should served what you actually paying for. That's why I'm putting 3 stars.

My friend told me about this place and I’m hooked !!! Really good seafood!! My favorite is Camarones Culichi ! All the staff is friendly and helpful , it’s always busy but the staff works as a team and help each other out. My favorite is Liz!!! She’s fast , friendly and always smiling she is good at getting to know what you like. Liz makes sure you are happy with everything and she is great at knowing how your dish is prepared and the ingredients it has .. it’s one of my friends and family’s favorite spots for seafood.

Very clean very well lit definitely probably the most upscale seeming of the Latino Or Hispanic grocery stores in the valley. At the same time doesn't have as real or legit of a a feels. It's hard to explain but it kind of feels more like a Latino Albertsons or Latino Walmart then a grocery store
