Got in late on a Saturday night, but Anna still took great care of us. She was very knowledgeable about gluten and celiac and knew exactly what we could and could not eat. I’m happy to say most of the menu was gluten free and safe for celiacs. We tried the fish and chips (haddock as they were out of cod) and both the fish and the fries were the best thing we had. Second best was the onion rings, then the calamari. I’m not a big mushroom fan but my husband liked them. Lots of gf sauces like cocktail sauce, ranch, tartar sauce, and marinara. Got confirmation that they had a separate fryer for the hush puppies - which are not gluten free. Worth the trip from the Strip - about 22 minutes mostly freeway. Pictures show the extensive gf menu(3 pix) and the small non-gf menu(1).

I cannot even describe how delicious our meal was. Finding a gluten free restaurant when we travel can be tricky and this was truly one of the best places we’ve ever found. The service was also incredible. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Can't believe I haven't done this review yet. The food was absolutely amazing the gluten free fact was a bonus. Everything tasted fresh like it was just caught from the river that morning. The coleslaw had a sweet taste to it that made it much better than what I typically get. The dessert was tiny but packed with flavor. And the best of all was the customer service we received from Veronica. She made sure that our drinks were topped off and that any unneeded mess was cleared from the table. The food is fair priced and I can't wait to go back already.

I located Lazy Joe's Fish & Chips through a Google search for the Best Gluten Free dining in my vicinity. I was surprised a Fish & Chips place was listed and pulled up the menu. They had Onion Rings!!! Since my diagnosis and becoming GF nearly 20 years ago Onion Rings and Fried Zucchini were my most missed food. I once tried a frozen GF Onion Ring that was all batter and tasted like cardboard. I figured I had to give a GF fish & chips place with a HUGE GF menu and a dedicated GF fryer a chance. Needless to say I ordered nearly every thing on the menu and advised my family it was Fish & Chips night. I ordered the Admiral's Plate, scallops (4), oysters(4), shrimp(4), and Fish(2) (I ordered cod)), a family size Fish (3 cod & 4 cat fish) two orders of onion rings, Zucchini, and mushrooms. The Onion Rings were and mushrooms were FANTASTIC, The Fish (both types) were AMAZING. The Catfish was crispy and tasty while the Cod was flaky and moist. The Zucchini was okay, I felt the batter a bit heavy. The oysters tasted strongly of oyster so the family was split on like/dislike. The shrimp batter was good not outstanding. However the shrimp was super tasty. The batter on the scallops was too heavy. The scallops inside all that batter were PHENOMENAL. Lots of shoe string fries & Cole slaw came with the meal and the staff gives generous amounts of Ranch, Tarter Sauce, Cocktail Sauce, Buffalo Sauce and Lemons to round out the meal. I'm a New to the neighborhood Fan. I will DEFINITELY return.

Very reasonable prices, I love all the gluten free options! They use corn starch as opposed to breading so expect that, but everything was very tasty. I don't know if people without gluten allergies would prefer this to real fried/breaded food.. but as someone who can never have mozzarella sticks and onion rings, this was such a cool find.

Had the best experience at Lazy Joe’s! I have celiac disease and was so excited that they not only have gluten free fish and chips but breaded shrimp too! And it was all very good quality seafood. Veronica was very helpful with the menu and pleasant to talk to. All the desserts were good, but the cheesecake brownie was my favorite. We were also impressed that this restaurant specified that their food was guaranteed gluten free instead of the disclaimers many restaurants use that says their food cannot be guaranteed safe from cross contamination. The employees at Lazy Joe’s were very knowledgeable and I felt 100% confident eating here. We’ll be back every time we’re in Vegas!

My wife and I love coming here. Almost everything on their menu is Gluten free so for my wife this place is incredible. Gluten-free fried food that actually tastes great! We took the order to-go this time but when we inside the service is amazing and they bring you everything you need, tarter sauce, ranch, cocktail sauce, ketchup and more in big bottles so you don't have to ask for more! It's a must go place whenever we pass through Vegas

Amazing that this place serves gluten free food. Great idea to do fish in chips. That being said, it's subpar for your standard fried fish place. For gluten free, I believe you guys are above average. Batter needs work! The main thing people like about fish in chips is the "crispy, light, slightly crunchy, batter, but this place doesn't do that. Same with the fries. Really needs some tweaking and this place will be amazing.

I was so excited to find a fish and chips show that had gluten-free options. When I found out that most of the menu was actually gluten-free, I was thrilled. Not only was this an amazing treat for me (fried fish, mozzarella sticks, fried shrimp), but everyone with me who wasn't gluten-free also loved the food. I'd recommend it even to those who don't have dietary restrictions.

The gluten free good is really good here and you don't have to be afraid of cross contamination. Prices are great and the people are very nice. I highly recommend this place especially if you have issues with Gluten.

Love supporting Local small business. Lazy Joe's Catfish & Chips were so delicious. Lightly battered & you can still taste the Catfish. Fries had a Mediterranean seasoning & were not over fried. Fish Sandwich, verytasty as well. Coleslaw just the right amount of mayonnaise. Will be back again soon.

I was diagnosed with Celiac two years ago. This place has all the good stuff minus the gluten plus they even made food for my son with an egg allergy, his isn't as severe so it wasn't a problem to have cross contamination for him but they are very careful not to have any cross contamination for gluten. I'm so glad we found this gem!

If you are hungry, ok try it but this is marginal fish and chips by international standards. It's more like fish sticks with mediocre fries. Staff is friendly. The inside of this shop is not exactly a date night location. I really wanted to like it because I live nearby, but will pass. No pics because there is nothing picture worthy.

I'm going to be completely honest, I'm a very pick eater and I have a bunch of allergies. Their chicken strips were some of the best chicken strips I've ever had! This place was super clean, the food was delicious, and the waitress was super friendly and gave me tips about gluten free places. I would definitely recommend.

What can we say? This place is amazing! Our youngest has to eaten gluten-free due to how her body processes gluten or lack there of. This place is amazing since it's all gluten-free & the options are plentiful. Amazing, friendly customer service as well. Can't wait to visit again on our next trip! What a treat to be able to eat gluten free fried fish and shrimp, coleslaw, and fries. The batter is corn based and thinner than regular batter. But, still very good. Staff was super nice and friendly.

Great place to visit if you have celiac or are gluten sensitive. The haddock was excellent and I couldn't even tell its gluten free. The lady that took our order was so friendly and we stuck around just to chat a little more. It's off the beaten path in Vegas but it could be worth the drive

I thought this place was really yummy, given the fact that I do love little hole in the wall places. I had ordered the fish & chips, got a drink an a side of fried zucchini. The batter is gluten-free an tasted good, stayed crispy. I'm not gluten free but my friend is an we both enjoyed our meals. The fish I got was cod an it stayed crispy, the fish was also cooked great. The fries are skinny, seasoned, some were soft fries an some crispy. The zucchini sticks were thick an the batter stayed crispy on them too, no frozen center. We dined in an got free refills, the staff seemed polite. I believe the ranch and tarter sauce is house made but not sure. Next I think I'll try their fried shrimp or lobster roll that I seen on the menu.

Here's another place that hardly needs another stellar review to convince you to go ... but here it comes, anyway. I was visiting Las Vegas for my birthday and just so happen to be gluten (and dairy) free. We found Lazy Joe's on Google and just HAD to go there for my birthday dinner. I am soooooooo thankful we did. We had the best gluten free fish and chips we've had in a while, and they were even able to accommodate my dairy allergy. It was such a huge treat to be able to eat this kind of food in a restaurant without fear of unfortunate allergy-related repercussions. Huge shout out to the woman who was serving us that night. I am sure she was the only one handling the phones, and our table, plus communicating with the kitchen - heck, she might have been in there cooking herself for all I know - but she made us feel so welcome, engaged us in such interesting conversation, and met all of our needs before we even had to ask. Couldn't have had a better birthday dinner if I went to one of them fancy schmancy hotel buffets.

By default all fried food here is gluten free but in my opinion you could never tell. The catfish melted in your mouth. The chicken strips were fresh and juicy. The fried shrimp were perfectly sized and flavorful. The only slight disappointment were the onion rings so we would reorder those as the breading was too dense but everything else was amazing. We will return any time we are in town.

This little hole in the wall is the perfect place for gluten-free chicken tenders, cheese sticks, calamari and more! Thank you for an excellent dining experience!! My daughter took me there for lunch because it is gluten-free, for her. We all had fish/chicken and chips and I can't say enough about the place. The food was great. Enough for me to bring half of it home. The staff were great. Couldn't ask for more. I will definitely go back and I would recommend it highly.

Apparently it’s gluten free. We didn’t know that going in. And the desserts are vegan, which was a nice surprise! Get the Lemonie! Our fish was fresh and perfectly fried and breaded. We were looking for fish you didn’t have to excavate from its breaded sarcophagus in order to eat, and this one delivered; lightly breaded, but still crispy. Apparently they change to oil out regularly, which you could tell by the flavor. Very friendly and kind service.

Gluten free and good for celiacs! The food is really good, and it's such a treat to have dedicated fryers and such a variety. Would recommend the fish and chips but not the gyro. The meat in the gyro tasted like it might have just been microwaved. Would have been much better off ordering their specialty of fried fish like my husband did.

It’s not fair when your friends can order mozz sticks or chicken tenders and you can’t because you’re gluten free….but here you can! And you can enjoy them to the fullest! It’s so yummy! It’s dangerous because I live so close. Excited to indulge again!

HIGHLY underrated spot! My sister would come here all the time cause they are the only place nearby that sells Gluten free friend chicken strips. Normally I don't like Gluten free stuff, but I came with her one time to try them out and they are some of the best chicken strips I've ever had. Their greek food and fries are also delicious, and I've been here many times since.

The fish was great. Fries (aka chips) were fine. Shrimp was very good. Kids loved the chicken, though it does smell fishy, but we were cool with that. Fried Zucchini was super tasty. They made it wedge style. Looking forward to going back.

BEST FISH I'VE HAD IN YEARS! Not greasy, non-gluten fried fish (4 kinds: catfish, tilapia, cod & haddock), shrimp, oysters, chicken strips, scallops, shawarma, gyros, kabobs, lobster rolls, so much more! Very light batters, great sauces, good cole slaw, carrot & celery sticks with ranch were served as a free appetizer when eating in. Great service, too.

Hand breaded sea food, nice and hot. Delicious! Fries are elevated with cajun seasoning. Great table side service. It has a restraunt quality but -1 star on the interior. It feels like a fast food joint but deserves more. Come check it out!
