I accidentally ran into this place, and my husband never had a Mediterranean dish before. We both love the service, and the food is tasty. I would definitely come back to this place. I also bought a bag of dry chickpeas so I can make the falafel at home. Best I ever done because it tasted soooo good.

Food was fresh, esp the pita breads, and tasted really good. The lamb burger had juicy patties. My daughter loved her chicken schnitzel. The gyro platter was juicy and soft.

This place is definitely underrated. If your looking for a great place to eat something different, I recommend this spot. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the place is clean. My favorite part of this experience is enjoying the mint drink they offer on a hot day. Not only that, they offer healthy food options, so if your looking to eat something good and still maintain your diet, look no further. This is my 2nd time here, and I can't wait to try even more menu items the next time I come!

I lived in the Middle East for 21 years and the meal we had at Amena was as good or better than anything I ever had in the ME. We went out for a family lunch and the meal and service we had was great. The food is prepared fresh and well seasoned. Good portions and plenty of sides. I definitely recommend the bread and hummus with beans. Best I have had. We also took some bread to go. The service was great and the place seems to be run by an Arabic couple. My wife is Egyptian so it also gave her a chance to speak Arabic. If you want some authentic food that is prepared in a traditional way this is the place to go.

We were so impressed with this restaurant. If you are looking for authentic Mediterranean, specifically the Levant, this is as good as it gets. They were short staffed yet we were well cared for and everything was excellent. We noticed several people come in just to buy the fresh baked pita bread, obviously very popular locally. The homemade mint lemonade was a huge hit with my whole family. The knafeh was the best my husband has had outside of Lebanon. The kibbeh was well seasoned and had the perfect crunchy exterior. Everything else also really fantastic (hummus, baba ghanoush, Manakesh Zatar , Lula chicken kabob, shawarma). I wish we could have a restaurant like this in Austin. We'd be regulars for sure!

Absolutely incredible food! Super fresh, Divine pita and the creamiest hummus! The best falafels I've ever had and the owner gave us fresh mint lemonades on the house. Such lovely, kind service too. High-quality, fresh food, would highly recommend!

When I ate the lamb shawarma, it was so tasty because of the tender meat and fresh vegetables. With the first two sauces on it, their flavors were impactful that made it taste better. For the fries, they were superbly soft, mushy enough to bite them. Also, the spices of those fries were great, including the ketchup. Would recommend it to go there because they were that good.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to now that my search for the best Mediterranean food in Vegas is over. I ordered my food to go (the gyro, grape leaves, and hummus + baklava, a kind of sugar cookie w jam on it and some freshly baked banana bread that the owner had just finished baking as I came to pick up) and couldn’t even pull out of the parking spot I was parked in right in front of their door before starting and then devouring my food right there lol. The owners are so sweet and friendly and you can genuinely taste the love in their food. I finished my food feeling like they just invited me over their home and cooked a feast for me. Gyro 8/10 Grape leaves 8/10 (would be a 9 if there was a bit more rice!) Hummus 10/10 Baklava 9/10 Cookie 10/10

I haven't had delicious home cooking like this before. I can't imagine more flavor, fresher vegetables, or better bread than what I had today. The shawarma was perfect and the baklava had just the right amount of honey, nuts, and crispy texture. I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face. I would eat this every day!! The woman that took care of me was lovely and very welcoming. I'll be back!

Super tasty food. The kunaffe with cheese is an experience. The owner is super chill and accommodating. I have a food allergy and he completely changed a dish to accommodate me and even brought out the label of the replacement oil to show me that it is free of my allergens. Also the Kibbeh was freaking delicious. I'm from Los Angeles, which doesn't have a shortage of great medditaranean food and this is one of the best I've had. Im gonna make a pilgrimage herd everytime I am in town.

Best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Vegas! Highly recommend the labneh, tabouli, cheese pita and the homemade lemonade is sooo good. The chicken shawarma was very well seasoned. The staff is so friendly and it was quick service. Would definitely come back again!

My son and I came late, 30 minutes before closing on New years day. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. We ordered a custom plate not even on the menu. It was amazing and included Falafel, Hummus, Kibbeh,Grilled Chicke,Rice and a salad. Hummus was authentic and delicious. The kibbeh was better than back home. The service staff was excellent and the owner came and checked on us twice. We highly recommend this place, and will definitely come back.

This is a MUST Stop if you're in Vegas and love some Authentic mediterranean food. We've been coming here for over 10 years and the food is always over the top. Ask for the Hummus with meat special it's the best thing ever and don't forget to get the Cheese Knafeh desert.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner tonight with my wife. This is the first time we've been to Amena and will definitely be back. What we enjoy the most is that the cuisine can't be isolated to one country so the recipes may be different than what someone would expect. Experiencing different recipes as always a good way to expand one's tastes. The baklava was especially tasty and not dripping in honey like most recipes are. You can actually taste the various flavor because it wasn't super sweet. The young lady serving was extremely polite and professional, and clearly enjoyed working there.

Both the food and service were fantastic! We had everything from chicken and rice to fatoush and babaganoush. The pita bread is homemade and THICK so don't over order. 😁 You HAVE to try this place! I'd post pics but we devoured it all!!

Nice quite, clean restaurant. We ordered shish kabob, falafel and kibbeh. All the food tasted amazing, not salty at all. Maria was very helpful, always asking is everything is ok. Also the hummus and salad were delicious. Definitely worth it to stop by and eat, bring friends/family.

Absolutely amazing. I brought my family here on a recommendation from a friend, and it was the best recommendation during my stay at Vegas. We ordered the Beef Shawarma, the Vegan open-faced eggplant, hummus and pita, and baklava. It was all amazing. The baklava was the best I ever had. I am a meat eater, but somehow the eggplant was as, if not more delicious than my schawarma. Our hostess brought us some homemade lemonade, and it was most delicious thing I've ever had with mint. Our hosts were also incredibly hospitable and friendly. I'm sad I didn't find this place before the end of our trip. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town!

My wife and I just tried Amena for the first time (we both got the lamb shawarma pitas), and I absolutely loved it! Even though we did takeout and had to drive it about 15 minutes back to our hotel, the pitas held up exceptionally well in terms of their construction. Even more importantly, they were pretty big AND also bursting with flavor! We both added some of the tahini and hot sauce they offered us at pickup, and between the lamb, the salad, the hummus, the tahini, and the hot sauce, the whole thing was just a circus of amazing flavors! If the rest of the food on the menu is anything like that (and I’m guessing it is), I would HIGHLY recommend you give this place a try! VERY reasonable prices too!

We went to Amena for dinner this evening and something just told me to get the eggplant. Usually I would order schawarma, but I had a feeling. I've never seen a Vegetarian dish presented so wonderfully, but it was the first bite that blew me away. The tahini-pomegranate sauce was seriously unlike anything I've ever had. Then we tried the mint lemonade and the baklava...the baklava in particular was extraordinary! Our hostess was so sweet and made sure we had everything we could have wanted. What a wonderful gem of a place ❤

Very delicious the only reason I give a 4 star is because portions were so small and the kanafeh wasn’t orange like I’d hope and seen in the pictures. Unbelievably good! Everything was so fresh and packed with tons of spices and flavor. They have halal, vegetarian and vegan options available. They also offer catering and sell their freshly baked pita. Everything we ordered: appetizers, dinner and dessert, was excellent. The place is spotless, food is plated beautifully and the owner is such a warm and welcoming person.

My wife and I took a spontaneous trip to Vegas and I asked her to find a spot for late lunch/early dinner. We were fortunate to come across Amena’s because not only was the service exceptional, the food was just as great. We ordered Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Lentil Soup, Dolma, Lamb Chops, and Knafeh. Yes, we walked in with a VERY empty stomach and left satisfied. As I said, the service was exceptional and we had a wonderful experience. Everything about Amena’s revolves around comfort.

This is a place that I adore. The staff here are so down-to-earth and friendly mild mannered people who remember their customers and treat them like individuals not just customers. This is a mom and pops type of shop. If you treat the people good here They will take care of you very well. Just be personable. The place is nice and cozy inside . And the staff as well as the owner are very personable and friendly people. The food is absolutely fantastic. A little pricey because it is a small business but it's well worth it . Very good hummus and falafel balls. Great customer service and the food is mostly fresh at most times. If you ever wanted to try real hummus this is one of the places to go. The best part of it a though is the pitas. Probably the best pitas I've had in America they taste fresh and they have great quality, just the right softness you can't go wrong with them but be wary as they carry a lot of carbs.... Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to eat a lunch out.

We happened on this restaurant by chance and are very thankful we did. The vegan tapas platter was great. It's hard to find falafel that isn't over-fried and bland - the falafel here was some of the best I've had in Vegas. Extremely fresh and well-done salads. The lemonade alone is worth going for, it's fresh, not over sweetened, and has a nice hint of mint.

The food is great and tastes fresh. They stand out compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. The chicken Shawarma plate with the fresh pita bread and sauces are mouth watering. The pickled veggies are something I can't go with without. The beets, cauliflower and sour pickles are excellent. I always buy pita bread to go as well. I need to try their lamb chops as that looks delicious.

My spouse and I love this restaurant for its chill atmosphere and delicious vegetarian foods. The baba ganoush is amazing as well as the creamy labneh and flavorful falafel. The pita is served warm and so very fresh. It's a great place to visit with friends. For a special treat you can try the sweet lemonade which is made with fresh mint leaves and bursting with complex flavor. The people who work here are consistently attentive and nice. Basically this small, friendly restaurant can't be beat. If we lived a little closer we would go there very often. The olives and pickles they serve in a little dish are wonderful too.

This place is great! Discovered it thanks to a stop at the Trader Joe's formerly in the same parking lot, and now make it a point to stop whenever I travel through Vegas. This restaurant remains the best in middle-eastern food. I have been a customer for almost 15 years and other restaurants do not compare to it. Best Arab restaurant in Vegas and possibly USA . Best Homous/Falafel/stuffed grape leaves/lentil soap/ Katayef/ maamol/ harisa/ foul-all vegan . Pastries made out of walnut instead of cheese. They also make Konafa from walnut . They have majadara and also non-vegan food . I also catered from this restaurant home food like Kofta and Bamia and stuffed Zuchini. This is really the best and highest quality food and service in Vegas.

I've never been here but today I decided to go because I was looking for some dolmas (or rice-filled grape leaves) they didn't have them so early in the morning because the mom who makes them wasn't there yet so they are made fresh every day. I took a glance in their pastry case and couldn't help but get a baklava. get the cigar shaped once (they have more filling) she (the daughter) said. The girl who was there was very nice. She sold me on this spinach stuffed pastry that I later found onion in and it was DELICIOUS!! I literally turned my car around to go grab the rest of them for a potluck I was going too but they didn't have enough. She said if I call a couple hours in advance then I can get as many as I need. Of course, I got the pita.(so soft) Once you see it, you will too. Then I picked up some hummus and it was also very good. She gave me the pick-up menu and needless to say- great find! I will be back!

Over priced and underwhelming entrees. Ordered Greek Salad, Falafel plate, vegetarian tapas sampler, small dolmas and waters for $46.. couldn't really tell the difference between the Falafel plate and vegetarian sampler. Long wait. Greek salad had black olives instead of kalamata olives. Expected better Mediterranean food for the price we were charged. The dolmas tasted fresh and the falafel was good.

Middle eastern treasure trove!!! The pita is fresh and fluffy out of the oven, the falfle is delicious and lamb shank to die for. Great also for vegetarian and vegan options. They have a wonderful selection of Baklava and I always have the Kunafa. All of the fresh juices are really good. They also sell imported favorites, albeit rose water and other snacks. I live 2hrs away in southern Utah and I make a way and time to come here.

My Boyfriend and I were craving falafels but Crazy pita can only satisfy so much. We decided to find somewhere else not far from our house, and Amenas Bakery came up. We werent expecting much, it was small but very nice and clean when we went in. The Man who took our order and greeted us was SUPER friendly and sweet, very hospitable. We are both Vegan and they had a lot to choose from, but they also had choices of meats and such. We got the Falafel "Sandwich" (Its in a Pita) which they make in their bakery everyday. We ordered their homemade lemonade, im telling you its the best lemonade either of us ever had. They put Mint leaves on top!!! The Falafel Pita? I was so full and reluctantly had to let my boyfriend take the last bite of it. Ill never want a Falafel anywhere else now. He was super nice and gave us Dessert on the house since it was our first time, Baklava. (I may have misspelled that) It was so yummy! We are definitely going back there, hopefully soon. I could eat it everyday.

I had my first Limonana (not the liquor, not a soft drink: a frozen mint-lemonade) and it knocked my socks off. Goodby mojito. The staff at Amber Unicorn books sent me down in late July when we admitted we were too hot to eat, but needed a drink to get us through the afternoon. I'd left my favorite Lebanese deli in North Carolina 20 years ago and the Zattar Manouche (think mini pizza with a pesto-like topping containing sumac) was perfect. I want to eat everything here, next time I'm in Vegas.
