Wow, what a great place to eat. Very comfortable dining experience with great atmosphere. The food was hot and fresh with great detail to their flavoring. Also I was very impressed at all the waitstaff how they work together to provide top-notch service. Great location with a view of the marina just outside. Also menu is priced very budget-friendly. I was greeted at the front door by the manager and his assistant with a smile and friendly conversation. Don't miss out on a great experience.

It just don't get any better.. Ashley was friendly and did a great job.. and oh man those burgers are big and delicious.. but you better be hungry .I just had the bacon cheeseburger and my partner had the hamburger. Those hula hoop onion rings and fresh French fries were also fabulous. You can't go wrong with those.. we loved every bite and the service..I did ask for crispy fries and didn't get them but they were still very tasty. She offered to take them off but no way. We ate them and they were great..I just like mine cooked a little longer. Head on over there fast as you can.. it was only 24 bucks with waters for drinks

I cannot say enough good things about Tookie's! First of all the staff is amazing, and friendly and the food is always delicious. The portions are enormous and their prices are so cheap. This place has something for everybody. It's family friendly and good for drinks and date night. I am a repeat customer for life.

This place has great service. Jessica my waitress is awesome. She'll come and check if I need anything else every so often. I had the double burger and fries. They are good. Got a nice view of the marina from my seat. Overall, a good place to grab lunch.

I have been eating at Tookie’s since it opened in 1975. I started with the Tookie Rookie Cheeseburger and now only order #99. Onion rings are amazing. It is still the best burger in town!

My girlfriend and her family has been talking about this place for a while now. Finally it's my chance to try it. I ordered the pelican eggs and chesse sticks for appetizers to start off with. For my main dish, I ordered the stomp's ice house special. Which is supposed to be their hottest burger. Honestly I barely felt heat from it. My girlfriend and her daughter ordered the lettuce be chessey burger and the t-bird chicken sandwich, and when your talking about a chicken sandwich. That chicken piece was huge on that sandwich!! Service was great. Food was great, I'll definitely be back one day!!

Tookies has been serving hamburgers since 1975 and the quality is still as good! I had a Tookies burger and swapped mustard for Mayo. It was amazing!! Great burger, great fries, great beverages and great servers!

Fast, friendly, and fabulous! We split the burger and boudin balls. Plenty of food for two! Our server, Cierra, was very nice and helpful. Great atmosphere and view of the marina.

Have never had a bad experience here. Food is delicious. Tookies has ruined onion rings for me anywhere else. Make sure to get their homemade ranch dressing, even if your not a ranch person. Staff is always laid back, never feel rushed but get great service.

The drinks and food were delicious! Mojito with blackberry flavoring was so refreshing. The fried pickles were perfectly fried and not greasy at all. Boudin balls were also perfectly crispy and had so much flavor. Burgers were great. Staff was friendly and our waitress was super helpful, giving us all her recommendations. I was recommended by a friend to eat here. Walked all the way over from Kemah Boardwalk and it was definitely worth it. Onion rings and fried pickles were hot, fresh, and crisp! While the burgers were juicy and filling. French fries were average, not bad but nothing super special. Our waitress, Abigail, was very friendly and observant to when we needed refills on our drinks without us requesting it (I love that). Highly recommend Tookies for all burger connoisseurs.

Great burgers with a lovely view! We enjoy watching the boats come and go, and they have good outdoor seating. The staff is kind and attentive. Try the fried mushrooms or boudin balls! My only complaint is I wish the music was a little louder; nice playlist if you like classic rock!

The atmosphere was fun and very family-friendly! Just load up your family and no special attire. Just come as you are environment! The food is AMAZING! Burgers are big, but the fried chicken sandwiches are bigger!!! I absolutely love this burger joint and for the prices.....you can't beat it! Suggestion: orders of fries and onion rings are very large proportions. One order can be shared amongst 2 or 3 people. Have fun and enjoy the food in a fun, busy environment!

Came in town for kemah boardwalk stopped in for dinner about 9pm. The food is just amazing. Taylor the server definitely is one of the best by far. I might just come in for the service. Went here for the first time last night and wow. Madison was just amazing as our server. Her recommendations were awesome! Service was stellar and we'll certainly be back! Only issue was chili was a bit.... different for us but the manager fixed that immediately.

Brought my family of 7 (including myself, 3 adults and 3 children) this afternoon. Marlene, our server, was incredible!! Coming as a server myself, I was very impressed. Our drinks were always full, she was very accommodating for our modifications and more importantly she was just amazing with my nieces. We come to Tookies every year when we visit my sister for Christmas and this is why. The food is delicious but even more, the service is always top level. They always go above and beyond. Thank you to the entire staff for making Tookies a staple in our annual Christmas trip!!

A little bit over priced but the taste is good. The reason I am giving this establishment a 3 star is because of the wait time to get a table or to-go orders- which is more than 10 minutes. When you enter the restaurant there is a hosts desk and the majority of the time, no one is there. I had placed a to go order, they told me it would take about 15 minutes. I arrived within 25 minutes ; when I got there, the order wasn't ready. I waited at at the hosts desk for 10 minutes when she finally arrived she mentioned I needed to pick up my order at the bar. At bar, I waited about 6 minutes till the bar lady asked if I needed anything. I told her I was there for a pick up, only, so she could tell me the hostess at the front had it? I went back to the front, I told the same lady I was still there for my order, she then said it's on its way!!!???? This was absurd, if when I arrived there, there was1 a sign stating pick up orders here, I would have been out of there within the initial 15 minutes. I understand everyone has to wait, but it was not professional how I was told to get in another line and come back to the same if my order was going to be given to me at the front counter.

Tookie's is a well known establishment in Kemah. We had a friend come down from MN to visit so went to Tookie's our 1st night for burgers. The food, service, and atmosphere were all good. Prices are reasonable. We would go there again.

This place is great! Hamburgers are good, chili dogs are good, chicken strips are good, onion rings are good (they come in thick slices or very thin slices, yum) fried pickles are good, pelican eggs are good and fried Jalapenos are good. That's all I've tried right now!

Wonderful place to eat. Our server Jason was great and the food was all delicious. Happy Hour is from 3-6 with $3 margaritas which were so yummy. Portions are large for good prices. I highly recommend!

Great little place right on the water. Appropriate distancing and disinfecting protocol followed. Really friendly wait staff. Seating was quick, service perfect. Food? Dear heavens, I could eat there everyday. Started with fried mushrooms and a tequila sunrise that left me wanting more of both but driving so no more booze for Suz. I had the BLT with perfectly golden Texas toast and fries. Hubs had the Squealer with onion rings and we were both sampling the other's sides. My bacon was cooked just right, not breaking from overcooking, not chewy from under. Fresh lettuce, nice tomatoes, the fried were perfect as well. Loved the huge onion rings the size of softballs. Overall, wouldn't change a thing and truly looking forward to a return visit. They get a perfect 10 from this hangry lady.

Our server, Jessica, was very friendly, quick and anticipated our needs. The Squeeler was delicious as were the tator tots. I went for Happy Hour and ordered a mango margarita and a peach margarita. Both were delicious. Overall, my experience was wonderful and I will definitely be returning.

The service is great! It was only a 30 minute wait the Saturday we visited. Their food and drink was good. I ordered the BBQ burger w/ fries which was totally delicious! The drink is Cat 4 which was strong! My nephew had chicken strips from the kid's meal and he loved it. I'd definitely come back here when I'm in Kemah.

Yeah that's true they were good burgers but not all that....now they did have one of the best mozzarella sticks I have ever had they were awesome...overall good food....but not best burger in tx by any means! First-timer to Tookie’s after hearing much about it. Wasn’t expecting much from a burger joint but was pretty impressed with both the service and food. For three entrees, two appetizers, two margaritas and one virgin margarita (yes they have virgin margaritas, not on menu but just ask!) it came out to around $55 (before tip) which is not bad. Fried pickles are our go-to appetizer and a good amount come with the order, which is always a win. Burgers were great, all though I would say mine was a bit too big and messy, but hey guess you can’t complain about that- right? Waiter service was quick and accurate and the environment was fast-paced yet comfortable, would definitely return!

Had the Double Meat Squeeler with ground up bacon in the beef. Burger was great. Ordered a side of Mozzarella sticks, hula hoop skinny onions rings and fries. The family enjoyed them all. Older kids had the chicken strips, and the little one had the max and cheese meal. Everyone enjoyed the food they got. We will be back again

Tookies is the MUST GO TO for Burgers in the Houston area! The burgers are Big and flavorful! And the prices are great! And order the Cheese sticks!! I have yet to find anyone who makes better cheese sticks than Tookies. Also staff are always friendly and helpful. Great customer service

We got in really fast even though it was a Friday night during dinner rush, the servers were incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the onion rings! The wife and I stopped here today for lunch, our first time here. We started with the fried pickles and they were amazing for $4.99. parking lot was packed but it was still fast service as well. She ordered a Pina colada and strawberry margarita, tasted yummy. I ordered the BBQ burger for $6,99 it was good, BBQ sauce I think is homemade it wasn't bad. The wife got chicken strips for $5,99 and they were juicy and fresh but didn't have any seasoning. . . Need some seasoning that would of made it 5 star. ***We did sit at the bar and Ani did a great job and was very fast.

The main thing you need to know is that these are handcut and handshaped beef patty burgers that you can taste and feel. Everything was freshly fried. We arrived around 1pm on a Friday. Service was prompt and professional without being overbearing. Easily one of the best burgers on the outer edge of the Houston metro area. Worth it if you are planning to visit Nasa/Space Center or the Kemah Boardwalk.

They have great burgers but if you’re not feeling a burger get their Buffalo chicken sandwich it’s sooo good. Homemade ranch and a side of pickles YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, COME HUNGRY. Oh and don’t forget to try their onion rings!

This place is a gem! We stopped by here for lunch before we took the kids to Kemah Boardwalk. The boardwalk can be pricey with all of us. Super affordable for my family. I paid $75 for 5 of us, and that includes an appetizer and Pina colada. We got fat full. Our server was so nice and friendly. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the atmosphere and breeze. Will definitely be back. I had the Squealer (hamburger bacon blend). It was delicious!

We had a group of 12 that wanted to watch the LSU football game. They put the game on for us (moved to smaller TVs when the Astros game came on). The service was fantastic, and the food was just as good. No one in the group had the slightest complaint on what they ordered! They were very accommodating for our group even though we stayed for over four hours. We will be back!!

Amazing! You got to be ready and have a big appetite when you visit here. The portions are plentiful. The pelican eggs were a great appetizer as well. They have great trading milkshakes as well. The service was on point which is a big plus. Just a great experience overall.

Best fried pickles we’ve ever gotten. I’ve eaten a fair share of fried pickles, even make them myself. But these at Tookie’s are still the best. As far as the burgers go, freaking good for the price, not much to complain there. Going for an early lunch was the best time, not to noisy or crowded. It was just right. I always try to visit tookies burgers when I visit Seabrook.

The food was good, our waitress was nice, only issue our waitress had a bad memory. It was frustrating but maybe she had a lot of tables. My husband and I had a Michelada. It had good flavor just needed more spice. We ordered the pelican eggs for our appetizer and it was so delicious!! They were actually spicy unlike many other restaurants stuffed peppers. My husband ordered the Tookies cheeseburger and I had the Squealer. We both liked our burgers a lot. We shared an order of fries with cheese. Next time we will get the fries without cheese though. The outside patio was very nice to sit and eat.

I had the squealer, which was very good. Be warned the bacon is cooked INSIDE the burger, so don't look for it! My daughter had the bean burger, which tasted like a Frito pie burger. Both were very good. Don't need the fries unless you really want to eat them.

My son got the cheese sticks and said they were the best cheese sticks he has ever had and that is saying something, because he orders them from everywhere. The squealer burger was so good! We went here after a long morning at NASA. I had read so many great reviews of this place my expectations were pretty high. I was pretty disappointed. The service was great. Stellar. The onion rings and fries were good but the burger didn't even rate top 10. The patty wasn't seared, just grey. I don't even think it was seasoned. The worst part was the bun though. I don't know if they get their bread order on Saturdays or what but it was super dry. My nephew said his was cutting into the sides of his lips. Bummer. I had been really looking forward to this place.

I'll start off by saying the restaurant was clean and well situated. There was plenty of room between tables and the outside patio was really nice and fun. As for the waitress she didn't smile once, seemed really hurried and busy the whole time, and just was not generally very friendly. I had the fried pickled green beans off the menu with ranch and they were delicious...one of the best I've ever had! Plus they came out super fast I barely had to wait. I had the blackened shrimp and sweet potato fries for the entree. I know I have seen a lot of locals review the restaurants and are very positive in their reviews but my meal just fell short. The sweet potato fries were good but I've had better ones and the blackened shrimp were very fishy tough and didn't have a lot of flavor. My date had a buffalo chicken type sandwich and he said it was good and it really did look delicious but I didn't have any of it. I spoke with a friend and she said to go there and try some of the sandwiches and burgers so I plan on giving it another shot.

This place is a great stop for some good ol’ fashioned burgers! The only complaint I would have is that it is pretty loud, and it’s hard to hear the people sitting a foot from you. As a child I grew up going to Tookies with my family. It was a place that everyone always agreed upon (What kid doesn't want a chocolate coke??). After not having been in a years, I was driving through the area and remembered this treasure and decided to drop in for a burger (the bean burger is the only way to go), some amazing onion rings, and of course that chocolate coke. Everything tasted just as in remembered it, and I couldn't have been more satisfied.

Been a while since I’ve been. Was fairly frequent to the original location. Been a couple times to the new one. The onion rings were still spot on. The Squealer was not the same. Still a good burger but, the flavor profile and the color of the meat was definitely not the same. The original had more of a reddish hue due to the ground bacon in the mix. Even when cooked. This was the color of a normal beef patty, as was the flavor. Still good but, the Squealer was a distinctively different offering and one I used to enjoy. I thought it was odd when I was asked if I wanted bacon on it. Had never been asked that before for this particular burger but a dismissed it with the thought, one can never have too much bacon. Still good but, not the same. 🥲

Took my family to Tookies for one of those famous burgers on Father's day. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed. The burgers are huge! I had a hand made malt & some of those wagon wheel sized onion rings. It's hard to compete in the hamburger arena but not when you make'm like Tookies does! Can't wait to go back & now that their huge deck outside is covered, we can sit outside & enjoy the marina even during the heat of the day.

Turns out he goes to college where some of my grandkids live. The hostess, Michele was just delightful. Jessica, another server, was at the desk and was really sweet also. I asked to speak to the manager, Julie so I could express my great experience we had at Tookies. She was really nice also. All our food was excellent! The pelican eggs were sooo good! If you ever go to Kemah, you absolutely must go to Tookies! You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it!

Always loved Tookies going way back to the early Seabrook days, but had not been to the new one. Went with our grown kids over the weekend, a nostalgia trip. All the food was good as was the service. Pelican eggs were a great start. Bean burgers, Stomp's, and a 99 were great,,still fantastic onion rings!. ***They do have gluten-free buns for those that aska plus for many*** We walked out with leftovers, and enjoyed them later as well. The atmosphere is similar to Willie's ice house(though not as cavernous)and so are the burgers only with a better flavor. Onion rings are good and the fries are average. Had dinner here in the spur of the moment and was so glad we did. I was dying for a hot dog but the only one in the menu was a chili dog with onions which I hate. The water told me they would make my hot dog however I wanted and it hit the spot! We sat outside on the patio by the river for dinner and it was very relaxing. First time hubby an I went , cup of gumbo was ok kind of watered down so wouldn’t order again .. but the shrimp deviled eggs were awesome.. I had the crab cake amazingly delicious.. top off with bread pudding huge serving , hubby had key lime slice of pie which he said was a hit ❤️

Amazing service! Everyone was super friendly. We had 3 people say goodbye to us as we were leaving. We sat at the bar to be seated sooner. The bartender was very friendly and helped pick out the tea I decided on. The food was absolutely amazing! Burgers are HUGE! The onion rings were really good!! We were greeted and seated right away at 7pm on a Friday. The service was friendly and professional; our only complaint from service was how long it took to get extra napkins (we have three younger children.) The pelican eggs were pretty good and we liked that the breading was thin but crispy. The kids food looked good but none of them seemed to want to eat much of their meals. The onions rings were SO good, easily the best part of the meal. I got the #99 and my husband got the Squealer. He said his burger was good but nothing to rave about; his only complaint was the bun was not good...I however did not enjoy mine at all. The burger was dry and the buns tasted cheap...like cheap sesame seed buns from the store. The biggest disappointment were the drinks. We each tried two different signature cocktails and only finished them because they were so expensive. They tasted like cheap alcohol and cheap mixers. We’re from out of town and will most likely not return but overall it was just ok. If we did return we’d probably get beer instead of cocktails and try different meals. Definitely would order the pelican eggs and onion rings again.

The service is great here and even when it's really busy. Burgers are great here and they have a wide selection to pick from the menu. I would suggest to arrive there at 11am (open time) so you can beat the crowd... summer time especially because it gets busy and food is great here and has outside seating with shade and perfect for the kids and is wheel chair accessable.

The GOBBLE!!! Turkey burger with bacon! Absolutely amazing!!!! Been coming to Tookie’s since I was little girl and nothing has changed! The food the atmosphere the music the drinks was awesome! It was a beautiful day on the patio and the staff was great (thank you Kelsey). The location is great even with the ongoing construction. I had their classic cheeseburger along with a "sweet whiskey O mine" cocktail and both were super delicious. The only complaint I had was the fries. While cooked perfectly had a fishy taste like possibly being cooked in the same oil as their fried fish. Other than that it was a great lunch and very enjoyable. Also I would recommend having a drinks special menu because it was confusing trying to find out what was on special and it took 3 different staff members to try and sort it out. Once again it was still a good meal.

Much to my surprise, this foodie favorite had changed locations since the last time I was there. Fortunately, the food and the service had not. I still stick with my original assessment, that it is one of the best burgers I've ever had. The place was packed when I arrived, and people continued to pour in the whole time I was there. Delicious. Always. Nice outdoor patio. With ongoing construction on highway 146, pack your patience, you’ll be able to see Tookies long before you arrive but the pay-off is worth it. As with all Kemah destinations, they experience high volume. I always get lucky with prime parking on the North side of the building.

My husband had a BBQ burger, I had the Tookie's Cheeseburger with American cheese and mushrooms, our oldest had the chicken fried steak sandwich with american cheese, and the toddler had a kids cheeseburger meal with fries. The burgers had EXCELLENT flavor and were moist and juicy. We also each had a soda/milk, plus an order of the giant onion rings, fried pickles and combo sweet potato fries/tots. They were all great! The service was fabulous- our drinks were never empty. The atmosphere was great- it was noisy and busy- a train runs around the room!- and kept the kids entertained. Price was good, pretty much what we figured it would be- about $66 bucks w/ 20% gratitude. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!

Second time here, staff is always amazing, food is fantastic, ambience is simple and homey. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich (best one I've ever had! Huge, crispy and delicious!), the hubs had the double meat burger (it was huge and almost too big for him to bite, but it was super yummy, I had a bite!) and our 11yo girl had the buffalo chicken strips. She said they were really good. The ranch is homemade and so good, the michelada was spicy and very tasty. We also had the pelican eggs which were surprisingly scrumptious, and the hula hoops and fried pickles, both very impressive. All in all a great place! Not too pricey but the food is phenomenal. Definitely a must try!

Definitely one of the greatest burgers out there. Personally I prefer the Squealer but my wife loves the 99. House divided?!? Regardless of your burger preference they have one to fill you up. Get an order of onion rings for the table. An order will feed 3-4 people. Great ambience for the family. The train room is always a hit. Decent bar selection. Service is always good and reasonably fast for such a busy place. Expect a crowd on the weekend or regular busy times during the week like lunch and dinner times. Enjoy the patio and hang out with a cold drink.

This place is great most of the time or just another burger sometimes. I think it depends on cook. Onion rings good. We had a large party and had a little bit of everything . This place has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I love their burgers and onion rings. Plus the atmosphere is fun and the service is usually good, with friendly people. I just went to the new location by the kemah boardwalk and nothing has changed, except the location. Even the look and atmosphere inside is the same. It is still just as good, and it's still one of my favorites.

Get the #99 burger. The wine marinade does something amazing to the beef. Unless you get there at the start of meal service you may want to avoid the patio. Excellent burger. Nice fresh toppings and the right amount of grease to it. I had the squealer with bacon blended into the meat and it didnt disappoint. Ample amounts of bacon. The onion rings were spot on as well. Nice light crispy coating that was well seasoned (which is often missing from rings) and stuck right to them perfectly.

Good burgers. But I must've caught an "off day". I had the bacon burger (bacon mixed into the beef) and it was fairly dry for what it was. Almost as dry as a Whataburger. And got the lukewarm Fries and Onion Rings combo.... lukewarm and soggy. Service was good even though we went thirsty between refills for an annoying amount of time. I will try this place the next time I come through and see if it's better. The receptionist at the hotel had referred us and was disappointed in my comments and was first to say it was probably an "off day"

I had eaten here when I was little...but that was probably 30 years ago...so I was curious to see how it had changed over the years. For an appetizer, we shared the fried pickles...the BEST I've ever had...anywhere. Lightly breaded and fried. Not greasy. Not too salty. Just perfectly sour and crispy. The burgers were thick and juicy and full of flavor. I had a cheeseburger and he had a 198 burger. Both were cooked perfectly and were delicious. We shared a combo tater tots and onion rings (which were huge and savory/sweet). Even the sodas were nice and fizzy (I hate flat sodas). And best of all, the service was excellent. Seriously, our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Bravo, Tookies!

I've always had a great experience here. Even when they had a smaller place. Tonight though they went above and beyond. Well Ashley did. My husband had been craving rookies and it was 20 min to close. He was on stand by time at a plant and well he called, she let him place his order and said she would wait for him to pick it up. He ordered me chili cheese fries and she was thoughtful. She decided to put the chili and cheese in small containers so that they wouldn't make fries soggy. The patty on the BBQ burger was thin, and I'd say it's only a league above Whataburger. I'll be trying another burger joint before going back. Service was great!

Went twice this week. Food and service are amazing. We learned to share our hamburgers (2 can share one) portions are big. The hamburgers are juicy and they have flavor! The restaurant is clean with friendly staff.

The food was good. Quality of the service was questionable. Not once did the waitress approach our table during the meal to ask if everything was satisfactory. Twice during the meal I had to stop dining and wait until I could get the attention of the waitress to refill a water glass or bring another bread. Then the waitress filled the water glass sloppily and splashed water into the bread. She took the bread basket and came back with another bread, but the napkin under the bread looked and felt wet. Although the waitress was polite, I want to believe she is just not experienced instead of intentionally providing poor service. Little things like when bringing a 'to go' container it was delivered without a plastic bag. I had to ask for a bag which she provided. I will give this restaurant one more visit before deciding to cross it off the list. The receipt was time stamped 11/30/2018 12:30PM, total $69.84 if a restaurant manager is interested in improving the quality of service.

Easily some of the best burgers I’ve had in my life. And what’s even better, is that they’re 7-8 dollars at the max. If you’re visiting Kemah, come here. My only issue was our waitress getting our orders wrong initially, but she quickly fixed it. Service was good overall!

Always the best! Been going since it opened in the 70's, and even though it's a new location and different owners, the recipes are still the same. Love the #99 and the onion rings, but the Stomp's is really good as well.

The burger was good The burger patties were then I was looking for more of a homemade thicker patties . They had more dressing then meat. It look like the patties came from out of a box ,not hand made. It was my first time going to Tookie's. Don't get me wrong I'll be back to try some other burgers. I love me some burgers. 😉😊 The drink was not strong enough. The waiter was very nice and did his job well, Omg ...the pelican eggs was so good. "Must try". Go and visit for yourself and you make your own judgment. Other then that nice place to visit , you can also eat outside. Enjoy .

Got the double burger, with a big group with me and spring break in and it being a Thursday nt, wait was only 10 min and got in sooner. Waiter tyler was good and food was awesome. With 2 ppl on a separate ticket, with everything we got, bill was only 35.00.

Excellent customer service. They make addicting onion rings. Every time I pick up my nephew from his job there I don't leave without an order. Oh, they make very tasty burgers. Debating on getting a job there myself.

My family and friends really ENJOYED our food. To top it off we ordered it to go. Even then our food was still nice and hot! If your looking for a burger spot and other good foods I highly recommend tookies! It was our first time we didnt get to dine in but we will be back and will dine in for sure! My waitress was exceptionally friendly and kept a smile the entire time I was there. Portions are large and food quality was outstanding. Despite being a sit down restaurant, food was out and served within 10 minutes of placing the order. Pricing is very comparable to quality around $8 to $10 for entree. Definitely a must have if you're around the Kemah/Clear Lake/Webster area.

Good selection of different burgers with toppings. Sides are separate (fries or onion rings). My family went to celebrate a birthday. Our waitress was knowledgeable, and handled a large party quickly and professionally. They serve milkshakes also which seemed to be a hit. I had the bbq burger and sweet potato fries.

I ordered the Tookie’s cheeseburger and it was okay. Not bad at all, just good. It was very fulfill because of the size. Great service and relaxed atmosphere. Great place to grab dinner for 4th of July and watching fireworks at the boardwalk.

Went on Nov 11 and the service and food were great! I hadn't been in years and the food was just as I remembered it. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, because she was incredible! Went again on Nov 13 and my hamburger bun was soggy and our waitress, Jackie, was terrible. I couldn't believe the change in just 2 days. I give them 3.5 stars for onion ring consistency and my first visit. Otherwise, if it wasn't for the Nov 13 visit, 5 stars would have been given.

The best food! My family of 4 ordered the famous onion rings, fried pickles, BLT, steak sandwich, chicken tenders, and a corn dog. For fried food it wasn't greasy like you would think. The train was kind of loud so that was the only thing disappointing. Waiter was super cool. And for a family of 4 we kept it under 50$. We will be back, thank you tookies staff for a wonder meal and a great time. 😁

I have been eating there since the late 70's yet I moved away in 1990 and moved back to this area recently. I always ordered the 99 as I dud today. It was delicious like I remembered it being. They moved to Kemah which surprised me but I heard it was be a use of hurricane Harvey but at least they rebuild and started up again. I would hate to see this place moved off the map. I have loved this burger more than any burger I have ever eaten and will continue to go back over and over again. Thank you Tookies for riding the storm out and coming on top again. You have many more loyal fans out there other than me. Keep up the good work and people will come because as far as I am concerned there is no better burger joint that I am aware of. Thank you.

Been coming here for 15+ years. The squealer is my comfort food, they cook the bacon in the patty which makes the patty juicy and flavorful. Onion rings are huge and a nice thick slice of onion. The chicken buffalo sandwich is also a great choice.

menu was a little confusing but when my order came out wrong they were quick to correct it. our waitress could've been more attentive but overall it was a decent meal. I wouldn't give their burgers such high praise as advertised. It was a good choice but the options were limited for the area, especially on a Sunday evening.

This place has been a staple of the area for the 40 years we have lived here. Due to growth and highway expansion they moved to their current location. The one thing that remains the same is the quality, taste and service. All is excellent. I could probably come in and just eat their onion rings. The best ever, anywhere.

HUGE burgers and sandwiches and big plates of fries!! I got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and it was very yummy! The waitress was young and forgetful but was so attentive that it didn't bother me. The deck is really nice and with the fans and a breeze it felt great even in the hot Houston weather. The restrooms were nice and clean, but it was like a maze trying to find them when you're coming in from the deck, lol. We didn't sit inside so not entirely sure what the atmosphere is like in there. All in all I liked this restaurant!

It was an okay place. I do like flavorful food, but our food was extremely salty. It was not just me that noticed it, so it wasn't just a me thing. We ordered fried pickles, fried green beens, stuffed jalapenos, fries & cheeseburgers. We weren't able to eat & enjoy the appetizers due to it. This was my experience. Do not let it stop you from giving this place a try. It was more than likely just an accident going overboard with the salt.
