WOW, just wow. Everything was great! Awesome customer service, clean dining area and delicious food. You can taste that the soups, sauces and dishes are homemade. I was completely surprised that the menu was so affordable without diminishing the quality of anything. My only disappointment was that I didn't find this place sooner! Hopefully they expand the dining room a little larger because when it is at full capacity it feels elbow to elbow. But, that just shows how much it is liked. Thankful for such a great restaurant in the South Shore area.

This place really puts the "family" in "family business"! The owner cooks everything himself with so much heat for his customers. He and his family became more like dear friends to my grandfather before he passed, rather than just cooks, servers, and restaurant employees. They remembered his favorites, and kept his, and his family's, food allergies in mind. They made sure my grandfather not only felt welcome, despite his rapidly declining abilities, but they went a step further to ensure he knew they were happy he was there. He's passed now, and my partners and I still stop by with our daughter in tow. They always remember her likes and dislikes, and not a visit goes by that they don't make sure she leaves giggling. I love them for who they were to my grandfather. I love them more now for who they're becoming for my daughter.

The waitstaff was excellent, the perfect balance of friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the Shrimp Limone, the pasta was cooked well and the flavors were wonderful, but the shrimp… the shrimp. I have never had shrimp that were cooked so perfectly melted like butter and had such rich flavor in my life. I was comfortably full after finishing my meal, however if a plate of those shrimp were placed in front of me I would have continued eating until they ran out.

Holy canoli! League city has been sleeping on this restaurant. The wait staff is extremely kind. The wine is priced phenomenally. And the food is beyond great! I had the spicy shrimp prosciutto and it was so good ! It was creamy, rich and so full of flavor! I'm literally going to tell everybody I know about this place. And I'm very heartbroken that I have waited so long to try it.

Small place, amazing food, cheap prices, and some of the best servers I've seen in League City. I came in for my first evening here after hearing friends praise the place and filled up on bread, minestrone soup, three beers, and a phenomenal manicotti that felt five pounds in my stomach and walked away with a ticket under 25 dollars. And there were no cons to balance that out, honestly the best service I've had in the area and i say that as a general manager of a restaurant on the other side of league city. Keep it up guys, you've definitely got a new regular!

We have been coming here since they opened ...have a nice and inexpensive wine selection. I always order the veal dish with white wine sauce including mushrooms, capers and artichoke hearts. Yum. Kira takes such good care of us.

Santos, the cook, definitely knows how to throw it down. If there any modifications you would like to your dish - they can do it. So this place doesn’t have the typical Italian decor and vibe but the food is good nonetheless. It is small and in a plaza - but people still enjoy. I tried their cacciatore specialty - the one that doesn’t hardly get ordered, and I’m surprised why not! It was delicious - I’ll get again next time with breaded chicken this time. For $15 bucks is not bad for a salad, garlic bread and entree.

Ivett's is one of my favorite restaurants around my house. The staff is friendly and the food is some of the best Italian you can get outside of the boot country. Being extremely COVID cautious, I haven't graced their restaurant except for pickup orders since the pandemic began, but they do have several tables inside if you are comfortable with it. The spaghetti and meatballs as well as the Spicy Chicken Prosciutto are two of my favorite dishes. The portions are so generous you can make two meals out of each one. They have salads and all kinds of other pasta and traditional Italian dishes as well. Generous wine pours (back in the day) and a quaint ambience, this is a spectacular place for a first date, a special occasion, or a family outing. I always look forward to nights we get take out from Ivett's and I really REALLY look forward to dining inside again soon.

We have ordered takeout a few times and finally sat down the other night. Their pastas and traditional dishes are really nice, just like you expect them to be and not too greasy, or over-sauced; even when it's a carry-out order. The portions are very good, too. Probably a little more than you should eat but not so much as to be wasteful. I wish they had a few more appetizers! The carry-outs have always been correct and the service inside was excellent as well. The prices are also very fair for the quality and amount of food you receive! We definitely will go back.

Food was nice and hot this is why I will return. Sauce didn't have much flavor I'm used to an Italian seasoning in sauces but this tasted like tomato sauce and garlic. Service was an 7 took to long for salad and food to come out. The person next to me got his food before me when he had arrived 10 minutes after me. This was my first time here, when I got my menu I was ask what I would like to drink. I told the waitress it was my first time where are the drinks in the menu and she told me we have coke products and tea. I don't drink either so I asked is there anything fruity and the response was no so I ordered water. Once she left I finally found drinks and noticed there was a strawberry lemonade so when she came back with my water I asked if there were serving the strawberry lemonade and the response was yes. But why didn't she know that when I asked??? strawberry is fruit or fruity ??? Waitress had a very good personality and memory because she took my order with out writing it down. I thought that was cool! Just wish she had remembered about that drink.

We ordered from Ivett’s Italian Grill tonight, it was DELICIOUS! 😋 I had Capris salad, eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti and a chocolate cannoli. My husband had salad, and salmon with pasta. It all came with garlic bread 🥖 and was so much we have dinner🍝 for tomorrow night! 😁 Their prices are outstanding for the amount of food you get!!! Will definitely go back and share our experience with friends!

I was pretty disappointed. I ordered takeout. So when I got there I was kind of surprised at how dirty and disorganized the employee part of the restaurant was behind the counter on the counter. I don't know for being the time of day that it was it seems that they would have already had all their stock in place and not laying around for customers to have to look at.. And it seem like there's a lot of fingerprints everywhere the food was edible but I won't order there again. I think the next time I want chicken piccata I will pick a different restaurant. Overall if I just walk in to eat I wouldn't have eaten there and it's a good thorough steam clean.

This is a great little hole in the wall. Food is reasonably priced, not greasy and pasta cooked to perfection. If you're feeling ravenous get the tiramisu, you will not be disappointed. However if you want to go on a couple's holiday like valentines you will need a reservation. 4 stars because seating and parking is extremely limited.

Went for the first time tonight. Expectations were low because the prices were so cheap...wound up enjoying one of the best plates of spaghetti and red clam sauce I've had since living in Texas. My wife's shrimp Lemone was superb. Our server Ivy was amazing. Will be regulars going forward. Great hidden gem of a restaurant

This little gem is delicious!!! Great food portions, great service and awesome menu items. We came during lunch and were still able to split a caprese salad and meatball sandwich. They bring out fresh, warm garlic bread before the meal and it's so good! Small location so may be difficult with a large group but definitely family friendly and great pricing!! Then had the spicy chicken Alfredo. Oh my all was superb. Let’s not forget the fabulous olive oil they serve with the bread. Everything was delicious and great service. The wine available is not the greatest but for a $9.99 cork fee you can bring your own. What a deal.

AMAZING!! Best meal I have had in a long time. Little place. Only 12-15 tables but the staff is all friendly and on top of it. The garlic bread had the perfect balance of crunch and butter, the bruschetta was so flavorful and fresh, chicken parm was perfectly crisp. My husband really enjoyed his chicken Alfredo and we both enjoyed the salads. Can’t wait to try the tiramisu we brought home for dessert. This is clearly a treasure the locals have found - if you are visiting nearby you can’t lose!

I've worked in Italian restaurants, so I've had my share of Italian food, and Ivett's is honestly really great Italian food at a pretty good price. It was wonderful! I had salmon with spinach and artichokes and a lemon butter sauce - it was probably the best salmon I've ever had. I was with a party of 8 and we had to wait a very long time for our food, but when we got it we agreed it was worth the wait. Amazing food! And reasonably priced. I will be back.

First time here. Chicken piccata was excellent. Good garlic bread and side of veggies. My only complaint was the service. I felt rushed. They brought my entree before I finished my salad and put the bill on the table before I was done eating. Maybe I wanted dessert? Maybe others like to hustle in and out but not me. Give me time to enjoy my meal. Would have been 5 stars if they didn't rush me.

This was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! The garlic bread was delicious and the food was outstanding! After reading the other reviews about the large portions, I would have to disagree. I don't normally finish all my food but was able to eat everything and was still a little hungry when I left. I almost always get to-go boxes at restaurants. My husband's food portion was also very small. The restaurant was very clean and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will return again soon.

We have been going to Ivett’s Italian Grill for a while now and we are consistently happy with our experiences there. Ivett’s is our son’s favorite restaurant and he asked to go for dinner since he leaves for school in the morning. The food is always fresh and delicious and the service is top notch. If you would like quality Italian dishes served in a comfortable neighborhood restaurant, give Ivett’s a try. Not like a chain, this is food created and served by people who truly care about the customers they host in their dining room. The prices are surprisingly low for the quality and attention to detail. I’m always excited about the prospect of being able to eat good veal dishes. While veal can be difficult to find at other Italian places, Ivett’s has a choice of veal available. Tonight, I got Veal Marsala and it was delicious as always. We aren’t really wine drinkers, so I can’t say much beyond the fact that they do seem to have a selection offered when you get your menu. Give Ivett’s a try if you’d like good Italian food that isn’t like the cookie-cutter chains and isn’t just a spot for pizza. These are quality “comfort” meals.

This place has the best Italian food I have ever had. It may be a small restaurant, but the fact that it is family owned and run and everything is made fresh really makes the difference. The first time I came to eat here I was truly surprised at how delicious everything was and it has never let me down. I can say that everything on the menu is worth a try. This was our first visit to this place. The welcome was friendly. We had lasagna and cheese raviolis. The calamari appetizer was excellent. It’s a good idea to make reservations, since it is not very large. We prefer the front of the restaurant, because in the back there is too much lighting and noise due to the fact of the kitchen is right there.

My parents took me and the family here. This is their favorite Italian Restaurant so obviously I went in with high expectations. Best kept secret in League city. Small, only 10 or 12 tables. Very good wine selections matched to the menu. I got Mondavi Chardonnay with my pasta / clam sauce which was as good as my mother's ( mom was a great cook) Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly including the chunky tomato basil bisque. The family and I tried this restaurant for the first time this evening. Everything we ordered was very good...with one minor exception. The restaurant style is a cross between cafeteria seating with menu ordering with a server. The acceptable dress is relaxed casual...jeans and nice t-shirt or better. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, the Chicken Alfredo, the Spicy Chicken and Prosciutto Alfredo, Mozzarella Sticks, and fried zucchini. The food was extremely good. It all came out hot and tasty. The plates exceeded all expectations. The only minor complaint is that the side Cesar salad lacked some flavor. We will definitely be back hungary for more.

My family of 4 has been out to eat less than a handful of times since the pandemic started. Last night we went to Ivett’s after my MIL recommended them. We were seated right away from the kind hostess. Everything was great and we all ate for less than $50 (before tip). The last time we dined out the restaurant (not Ivett’s) didn’t wait 5 minutes before throwing out our food. My husband didn’t have faith that they save them but I called anyways 20 minutes after we had been home. Sure enough they had put them aside for us! We will definitely be back for dine in and take out!

Nice little place for Italian food. Went there after a boat outing and had their minestrone soup and Italian sausage sandwich. Both were very good, including the fries. It was around 8PM on a Tuesday when we showed up, not many people there. The place seemed a little hot, that is why the 4 star review. They need to crank up the AC. I had heard good things about this restaurant. I decided to give it a try today and the food far exceeded my expectations. My meal was extremely flavorful and the portion size was very reasonable for the price. Along side a very friendly staff and a comfortable environment I would recommend this place to everyone I know. The only thing I can say is needed, is more seating. The capacity the building holds will far be exceeded if the restaurant keeps up the great service and food. This place will definitely be one I visit often!

My husband & I really enjoyed this family operated, quaint restaurant. I had the Chicken Alfredo with mushrooms. The chicken was fresh, sauce was amazing and the mushrooms were delicious. My husband had a meatball sandwich with French fries. He was impressed with the meatballs, portion size and his Calamari appetizer. Both of our meal came out HOT. The service was friendly, prompt and courteous. We will return.

It was not very crowded, we were one of four tables. We chatted briefly with our waiter, Walter, and found out they just opened in December and the owner is his father who was the chef in the back. Walter and his wife take turns waiting tables. Our food was absolutely fantastic. We had the lasagna which was out-of-this-world amazing and a very nicely sized portion. We also had the chicken and prosciutto in spicy alfredo sauce which was very good as well, but very rich. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer but Walter forgot to bring them out which ended up being fine because we wanted to try the Italian cream cake for dessert. It was okay, but I wouldn't order it again. Everything was made to order, including our complimentary garlic bread which Walter put in the oven when we arrived and brought it out hot and fresh. They are BYOB so we brought a nice bottle of wine and there's no corking fee. They have nice quality wine glasses which I appreciate! I don't like the small rinky-dink ones. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Next time we will definitely bring our kids because it seems to be a very kid friendly place.

6/28/19 I went to have lunch with my wife today and was a little busy. Ok took a bit for staff to acknowledge we were there then this waitress (skinny, short, and wore glasses) came over took drink order. and from there it went down hill. she's going around getting drink orders and some food orders but keeps passing us up. then a couple sat behind us and right away she takes there drink order, comes back with there drinks then decides to take there food order and I tell my wife wait a minute we were here before this couple and she wanders off and then comes back and goes to another table and she starts heading to place more orders so we wave to her that we want to order and she looks at us and tells us we have to wait. Now I tell my wife lets get out of here and walked out. Because of this waitress this restaurant lost business and future clients. I believe you need to be more aware of who gets seated and in what order so you don't upset people. Anyway will be a long while before we go there again. food is good its just 1 or 2 servers that mess it up.

It’s one of our favorite casual dining restaurants in our area. We eat there once a week at least.The lasagna is wonderful. Now the bad. Last Thursday we had a party of 6. All eating full course meals with adult beverages. After we had finished our long meal because of slower than normal service we were ask to leave if we weren’t going to order any more food or drink because they needed our table. I can say in my 50 plus years in eating out all over the world that has never happened.

Friendly and laid-back neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food was excellent, we got the spicy chicken and prosciutto which was a nice variation on the usual Italian fare. The wine list was small, but the reds we ordered were both very good quality and surprisingly inexpensive. Altogether, we had an appetizer, salad, entree, 2 desserts, and 3 glasses of wine for a total bill of about $40. This will be our new go-to Italian restaurant.

This was our 1st time here. We started with caprese salad, Italian wedding soup and tomato basil soup. Then we had veal picatta served with pasta/spinach and veal parmigiana with grilled veggies. The first time was the Chicken Catchatori and today the Salmon over angel hair and they are both delicious. This is definitely my new go to Italian Restaurant for the Clear Lake. The dish is simple but amazing and is basically chicken, prosciutto, and penne pasta tossed in a spicy alfredo sauce and topped with sliced green onion. Very tasty and definitely enough for 2! My husband ordered the meal parmesan, each came with a salad and we ordered bruschetta (which was also good) an unsweet tea, and a water and it was $38, not too bad for such good food and big portions. Oh and kids eat free on Monday after 4, so we'll definitely bring them in and try something new! Seems like they have specials every day of the week.
