The atmosphere is very friendly, the service personnel welcome best with a smile and provided us options. Our food is cooked perfection, we ordered a large pizza with jalapenos, pepperoni, and onions. The pizza was very well cooked, the cheese was melted to the right temperature. The jalapenos, pepperoni, and onions we're all fresh. The waitress checked with us twice during our meal, which was the perfect amount. At one point I saw that our soda cups were almost empty, and she came over and asked if you wanted refills. I have eaten there numerous times now, trying their salads, grinders, and pizza. I've not been disappointed on any of the visits, the food was of quality texture, taste, and temperature. I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone, you'll be very happy that you visited and enjoyed all the offerings they have

Been coming here since 12 yrs old. They make best tuna grinder and pizza. My family love this place. Excellent customer service and family-owned business for many years there are delightful and very friendly people. I love coming here for many years and I'm still a loyal customer to this day love there food chicken wing too tuna grinder. Clean customer service is excellent. Owner are awesome people. Outside and inside dinning and takeout.

Clean establishment with fast friendly service. My pizza was perfectly done, however, the wings were just ok. I wish this restaurant was on the Slice app however the convenient location was perfect for me. Ill be ordering again very soon.

We hadn't gone to George's Pizza in a while. We decided to go back once again. We've never had a negative experience there, we were just going to other places. Well we were delightfully surprised. The food was very good. We ordered pizza, which of course is there a specialty. It came in a very reasonable amount of time with excellent service. The staff there is friendly, warm, and personable. They were attentive to to us as customers. The restaurant was very clean and neat. This is a very neighborhood type restaurant. I would really encourage people to go there and to enjoy the good food and excellent service!

Good but heavy pizza. If I could have given it a 3.5 I would. Tasted great, cheese was perfect, and there was just the right amount of sauce. Again, I didn't care for the crust because it was thick and a oily.

George's pizza is way overpriced.. Pizza is thick and doughy. Garden salad was absolutely terrible. Coffee tastes burnt. Small pepperoni pizza Small salad 1 cup of coffee 1 soda Total $25..... I won't be going back there. Waitress just looks and stares at you. I had to approach her to take my order.

Got the fried chicken dinner for take-out. 4 pieces; breast, thigh, wing and drum that had a very good crunch. Came with fries that were ok and also came with a pretty generic but fresh iceberg salad. Not a lot of places have real bone-in fried chicken besides Popeyes/KFC. This was actually a better value than either of them.

This is the first place I've been to that has a separate to go and dine in area; genius. My order took about 10 minutes and the staff was pleasant. This is a pizza place but I decided to order wings because I can and it's on the menu. Turns out they were better than I expected; not great but I didn't want to throw it away. The bleu cheese container is huge. Also the chocolate cake is Delicious. Exceeded expectations! Very happy with that.

We never ate at George's before. We had their Pizza that was awesome. Just the right amount of sauce, cooked just right. Along with that we had fried Calamari that was also excellent. Cooked perfect. Not overdone just perfect! This place is definitely great. This Family run restaurant is run by very nice people, highly recommend eating here!

My favorite place to eat when I’m in town, I grew up right around the corner from George’s pizza in the 1970s and ate there once a week, I have moved around the country and nobody compares! Pretty good pizzas in New York City and Philadelphia but personally I start thinking about the hot Italian grinder days before arriving back home!

What can I say about this place. I've been coming here for over 20 years. One of the best pizza around bar none! And don't get me started on there cappocola grinders! It's fire, heavenly! I've preferred pizza from here in the past. It's always good, however that it was great. We also tried some other menu items like Buffalo wings (great, cooked perfectly, amazing sauce). Turkey grinder, (good, even better later, also fresh ingredients). Mozzarella sticks & French fries (average). Prices were fair. Customer Service was good.

So I'm from Massachusetts but usually I am in Hartford everyday. Since I been coming to Hartford I've ordered pizza and different places and was always disappointed 😞 For one in Mass the pizza is pie cut for some reason alone of the places out here cut in squares which I DO NOT LIKE!!! I found George's pizza as I was next door grabbing a Vietnamese sandwich grabbed 2 slices for my fiance and they looked amazing. I didn't have any of his slices but he said they were THE BOMB!! So today we called ordered a large cheese and a small with mushrooms and spinach I asked the woman on the phone to pie slice manner this pizza is best around I am very happy and will be back def the people are super nice might order 6 pizzas for my wedding Lol

There's quite a selection of food here, it's pretty good, but there is better pizza in the West Hartford area. If you like traditional pizza, you will enjoy this place a lot. The prices are very good, and there's a good amount of parking, although this place can get busy at times, and it's about average in terms of. It's a little bit older of a restaurant in terms of decor. Everybody will find something they like here. This place has been around for a very long time, and after you've eaten a meal here, you'll understand why.

Came in on a whim late on a Monday evening. Was very pleasantly surprised by delicious garlic bread and near-perfection pizza. Nice open dining room with very friendly waitresses. All totally kid-friendly and plenty of room for larger groups too! Will definitely be back!

Love their grinders and pizza. Only complaint I have is that their hours are listed incorrectly online when I googles them and I had a big group that wanted to order and they didn't answer. Otherwise always happy. They slice the meatballs on the meatball grinder which is key!

Like the place it's a nice place to go to. I went there with my cousin and I've been going there ever since. And usually when I go I always bring somebody else with me who never been there before they fall in love with the place. But they always say to me do they deliver and I say no they do not it's a good place to go if you want something different and that tastes real good good quality in your food that's the place to go I am a loyal customer every time I go in I always say make my food with love and is it free and we do nothing but just laugh and say I see you next week. :-)

Not only do they have the best pizza but awesome service as well. Their pizza always reminds me of my childhood. When food tasted like food and is made with love and real ingredients. My 6 year old son won't eat any other pizza. Kudos to the cooks!! You have to try it to believe it.

Pizza was very good, and staff were really nice. The only thing is that if you don't order ahead of time, you will find urself waiting a long time. I assume is because they make the whole pizza fresh. But at the end it was worth it.. my advice is order ahead of time so when u get there it's no wait at all...

Great for pizza. Greek style pies are always good here. Had meatball sub and chili cheese dog this trip- dog was tasty, sub was a little light on the meatballs. This is a reliable spot for good take out pizza. Other items are hit or miss.

I only stop in for their grinders. Hands down, the best grinders spot in Hartford. Everything is always fresh! Not sure what type of mayo they use, but it makes their grinders stand apart from other restaurants. I recommend the turkey grinder. I no longer eat red meat, but for those who do, their hamburger grinder is really good. This place won’t disappoint! Five stars and great customer service!

I grew up on George's pizza and it is still the best pizza I have had and I travel the world and live in Florida! I always stop in and have some real pizza BUT the service on this visit was AWFUL. Like we had to call the waitress over for everyrhing! There were no other customers. We know and love the owners but they need some new staff😔

Pizza is great. Place is very clean, there's a side for pickup and take out. Inside cozy. The only issue is parking, not too many spaces in front, but since it's on a corner there is parking right on the side street.

Service was great. I was disappointed with the meatball grinder. Meatball was sliced and probably the equivalent of 2 meatballs on the entire 1/2 grinder so the bread and peppers overpowered the lack of meat.
