The buffet collection is decent. Lots of meat choices. The top sirloin (Picanha) was very salty and Lacks the flavor. The beef ribs are tough and not juicy. The chicken wings are very good. The lamb is very good.

I go once a week at least I always get steak, chicken hearts, and chicken sausage. They are always clean and kind. The food is fire!!! It's good everytime!!! There are more meat options but I dont eat pork. I love the vegetables and pasta definitely a good place to try new foods. If you've never had chayote this is the place to try it!!

Great local place for Brazilian style steaks. Food is delicious and there are a lot of options. The line can get long during rush hours, but if you have time to enjoy the buffet meal instead of just to-go, it's well worth it!

Be wise when putting your food from the Buffet table. I recommend pick a salad and the the meats. Or pick whatever is in the buffet and skip the rotisserie meet. It's too expensive. Once in a while is fine.

If you are heading out to a movie and don't mind simply crossing a busy street by foot, there lies a delicious luxury of a buffet and grill at Banana Brazil. Friendly owners and chefs greet you warmly, as you tough out deciding if your stomach is as big as your eyes. A likable atmosphere that just needs some interior redesign and a fresh coat of colorful paint. Don't let the modest location, exterior, and interior fool you- because the food is worth it and it will also be light on your wallet. I recommend bring a date or a group of friends here before or after a film.

Ngl it’s a little expensive but the food is fire. Super authentic, or at least I think it is, I’m not Latino, but it tastes like what my moms cooking would be like if I had a Latino mother, and if my mother stuck around and actually raised me instead of leaving me in the mean streets cause that’s what happened to me. It’s been rough man but this Brazilian grill with the Sirlion and the fish cake make me think of the kind of life I could have had. Mom if you’re out there, I forgive you

Food was great.. all the people complaining about the price have never been to a formal brazilian steakhouse where buffet is typically 50-70$ per person.. I will gladly pay $25 per person for all you can eat deliciously cooked meats... salad bar was decent.. not a ton of selection but the typical Brazilian options were there. The meats were delicious.. if this pace were closer to where I lived I'd probably be a regular..

Some people might be inclined to pass this place by based off the exterior. That would be a mistake. The interior is not fancy, but the dining area is nice, and very clean. The food is served buffet-style, or by the pound, and it's a bargain anyway you look at it. Everything tastes pretty fresh, there's enough turnover with the food here that nothing seems to taste like it's been sitting around for too long. The meats are absolutely incredible, and the wait staff is very very good and attentive. Be prepared for a line during lunch time on the weekends. Street parking only, or in the movie theater lot across the street if you're going to a movie.

Variety of meats from the grill are delicious. The buffet has a lovely variety of sides that include many types of fresh vegetables- which is something I find lacking in most restaurants. You can definitely make a lot of health -conscious choices when eating here. Will gladly come again and bring friends :)

All you can eat, of everything (buffet, bbq/meat) is $15.99. Buffet only is $12.99. Or you can buy by the pound for $7.99. Best fried banana I've ever had. Very good buffet with ribs, fish, beef, chicken. BBQ meats also great. Yeah, you could go somewhere else and maybe get a little better food, but you'd pay three times as much and it wouldn't be three times better.

Their buffet should be watched more because people were leaving things opened and not wearing masks ans the plates shouldn't be by tables where people are eating if we are practicing social distancing. Truly a neighborhood establishment with an ethnic Brazilian Flair that is great for a nice evening meal during the week. This place is doing it right. All you can eat buffet with plenty to choose from. And their meats right off the grill are superb. You get personal attention from The Grill Master and the price is not to be beat. All you can eat Plus BBQ for under $17. Beer and wine are served as well. I would go back there in a second... and probably will very often. Keep up the great work!

Man, this place was amazing. Super friendly staff, great methods during Covid. The food? Incredible. Amazing prices, the meat was mindblowing, and the buffet line up was so delicious. Just a basic potato salad was brilliant. I cant sing enough praises. I'm sure when busy their parking situation is rough, but they have late hours and a very friendly atmosphere. You know its a good local joint.

This place is great. The food is great, every sing dish was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavour. Some of the best steak I've had anywhere in the Hartford area. Looks a little dumpy outside, but is a whole in the wall gem. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Cook on the meat is perfect and the pricing is more than reasonable. Will be a repeat customer for a long time.

Compared to all other Brazilian steak houses this was probably the worst expirence I've ever had. The food was either bland, or the meat was extremely dry and chewy. Did not enjoy the food at all. Staff was nice and price wasn't too much for a steakhouse buffet but I wouldn't advise going.

The place has the potential to be a great local spot but the presentation and food choices were poor. Items on the buffet were dried up and things that needed replenishing weren't. The vegetables were overcooked and salty, the plantains were over ripe and very mushy. It didn't seem as if any one was attending to the buffet while we were there. We stayed there for 2 hrs talking but after one serving we didn't go back to get anything because the hot food Items were lukewarm or cold. My daughter did the buffet and barbecue she said the barbecue was good. The waitress lack personality she didn't smile. I always wanted to try that restaurant but I will not return there.

I absolutely love this place. I actually found it on accident one day when I was at City Steam Brewery. I left and was so hungry I googled a buffet near me and this place popped up as it is less than a mile away. I pulled up and it looked like a small mom and pop place. It did not look like it would be a buffet and when I walked in I saw a huge set up to the left of me with various sides and meats along with fried fish (that I love) when I finished loading my plate I got to the end of the line and to my surprise it was a churrascarria with numerous meats cooking right on open coals. He asked what I wanted and cut it up right on to my plate. The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Price was very reasonable and service was nothing short of excellent. It instantly became one of my favorite places and any time I am in the area I go back. This is a MUST visit if you are ever near.

This place was amazing, they have the buffet open on one side and when you complete the line you are able to get the traditional charrascaria at the end. Charrascaria's are where they cook the meets, bbq style, and you get the exact cut you pick, steak, chicken, and pork usually. The food was all around amazing and being a steak head I was most happy with another dish that was so good I went from walking in not hungry to leaving full and so happy I found this place. Priced excellent, with multiple ways to pay that are convenient; including by weight or all-you-can-eat. Good food and really fresh, and an excellent carving station with fresh roasted meat. It's possible to take to-go as well, and would recommend as the food really fills you up.

The food is delicious with a large variety of dishes to choose from. There are different dishes for those that are vegetarians, those who enjoy different meats (Beef, Chicken, Pork and Fish) whether it is on the buffet table or it is being grilled where the choice is awesome. The precautions that they are taking are really good in preventing covid-a9 infection and still a very pleasant atmosphere. I travel to Connecticut often to attend the ctcomputershows.com where other vendors as myself sell merchandise at ridiculous discounts far lower than any stores and may end my day at this place having a delicious meal before heading back to NYC. I highly recommend this place to all Brazilians, Latinos and people of other nationalities and cultures to experience a wonderful smorgasbord of different taste, colors and textures in the food.

When you first walk in you will see 3 tables on your right and the buffet on your left. Dont be alarmed there is plenty of seating in the dining room. If you walk towards the counter and look to your right there is a room with ample tables. The selection at the buffet is great. They have everything you could want. After picking your food you walk to the counter to request the meats you would like. I had the steak. It was so well seasoned that I had to have more 😊 The food was tasty and very fresh. You will love this place. The cost is about $15 per person. If you dont want a buffet you can have a plate of food for about $7 or $8. They also offer dessert for an additional $3-$4, well worth the price. The food is amazing and if you want a good meal you should visit this place. A hidden gem in hartford. It is located across from Bowtie Movie Theater.

BBQ selection is top notch, seriously, go here just for that and you won't be disapointed. Buffet selection is interesting and very Brazilian, I enjoyed it. Prices are very good. $7.99/lb. for takeout, $12.99 for buffet, $14.99 for buffet plus BBQ, plus a drink. Reasonable as hell. My only issue is the saltiness of the non-BBQ meat offerings. But really, go here.

Wow! My only mistake was not trying this place sooner! I saw the commercial on nbc and decided to give it a try. Came at 5 on a friday plenty of seating. The buffet was well stocked and constantly swaped out to keep things fresh. The mashed potatoes pasta salads and rice were my favorites. The meat station was heaven. Had the bacon wrapped chicken, steak, sausage,wings all were so flavorful and juicy not dry .The man working this station was very friendly and definitly has the cook times down because not a single piece of meat was dry make sure you keep him around for a long time ! The man at the register ( think hes the owner) was very friendly and helpful made me feel like i was family. I loved this place so much took all my co workers here for a lunch meeting and they enjoyed it as well. Cant wait to come back!

These guys do not fail you even if you order through Door Dash...I tried the other Brazilian for take out and felt they were really over priced and the potions were tiny. Stopped in because we were down in Hartford. Food selection was plentiful. They have an all you can eat Buffett and you can add on meats from the barbeque for $3 more. It was easy for hubby to stick to the Keto lifestyle here. All the meats were very good and fried fish was fresh and not overcooked.

Good food. Pricing very reasonable. Family of five for dinner, drinks and dessert for less than $60 with tax and tip. Definitely recommend for good Brazilian cuisine in Central Connecticut. Oh, and by the way, my wife is Brazilian and said this is the only place in Connecticut that she's encountered that has authentic açaí bowls like they do in Brazil.

Very reasonably priced informal buffet. Hot options include beans, rices, pasta, vegetables, and meats. Cold options include lettuce salad, cabbage, potato salad, other vegetables, sliced peaches, and either rice pudding or hominy corn pudding. The Brazilian fire grilled meats are optional but only a few dollars more. There are many choices including sirloin steak, brisket, beef and pork ribs, tenderloins, sausages, and more. They did run out of some options while we were there and more options are available weekends. Cold drink coolers with many options. Beer and wine available. Desserts looked yummy. Mostly serve yourself here. We did have to ask for napkins and cups of water as none were offered. Tables and buffet area were kept clean and mostly well stocked.

The chicken that was part of the buffet was actually both cold and greasy. I do not mind cold chicken but that is to be reserved for the day after, when you have that thang sitting up in the refrigerator and you already know what you are getting yourself into. The sides, were just as cold but the flavor was there which is why I did not beat you up too badly over the temp. Just something to work on, should you need to make any changes imo.

Excellent Churrasqaria, the buffet is second to none in the greater Hartford area. The picanha in unbelievable tender and juicy, the pork sausage picante is just delicious. All of the other meats are just as good and plenty of varieties. The deserts are home made and one must try. To end this perfect meal end it with roasted pineapple with cinnamon. You will not forget it how good this restaurant is.

They sell food by the lb ($7.99/lb), or buffet $11.99 (has all the veggies, rice, and carbs, and some meat), or buffet plus bbq (everything in buffet plus all the grilled meat you want). For bbq, they have about 8-10 different types of meat. On the night we went, they had pork ribs, pork loin, steak, top sirloin, wings, chicken wrapped in bacon, hot sausage, mild sausage, and chicken breast. All the meat was amazing - top sirloin, wings, and the buffet steak were my favorites. Come hungry. They have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase separately. They also had a glass case full of desserts for purchase separately. We didn't try anything other than the buffet + bbq.

I have a tradition of going to places for Churrasco in many Countries and States whenever I visit them. I know authentic Gaucho food. I was blown away by this place. As far as taste this places is clearly better than Fogo de Chao. It isn't a full featured place where you are waited on but if you can muster the energy to get up and fill your own plate and head over to the Assador you will be rewarded. ....ok editing my review because I just saw the bill. If I could give six stars I would have. If my bill was double what it turned out to be it would still be a bargain.
