Got this place recommended by a friend from work and must say: it was awesome! We got seated promptly and got to order stuff to drink right away. Once we ordered food, it really didn't take them that long to get everything prepped. The sushi is unlike any sushi I've ever had. Service was top notch and overall value was great also. Definitely planning on going again, and would highly recommend to friends and family.

A good local spot for consistently good maki rolls. They also have a hibachi section of the restaurant, which I haven’t tried. But it does always seem to be busy. The rolls are very Americanized but are fairly inventive and always tasty. They don’t have many nigiri options but that’s to be expected for this location. Overall, a good spot to go on a weeknight.

Firstly, let me apologize for not taking pictures of the actual FOOD!! 🤣🤣 I was hungry and didn't think about it until it was all gone! We started with the fried scallop appetizer. A bit pricey for the portion for me but it was obviously hot and cooked fresh and pretty tasty. The scallops were served on a bed of leafy greens with sauteed onions with a dipping sauce. Make sure to get a bite with ALL of the things. Trust me. We ordered 4 rolls, 2 more basic ones and 2 of the specialty ones. I think the most expensive roll on the menu was right under $14 and I've seen a lot of places that go up to $16. 1 was fried, 2 were raw, 1 was baked. Have to say each one was unique and delicious in it's own way. Finished the meal with a small bowl of clear soup. Which was made with chicken broth that honestly tasted like it came straight out of a carton is was so salty. It was still good but...way too salty! The service was quick and attentive. The food came out super fast as well. My only real complaint would be that they have an outside dining area out front but we were told we couldn't sit there. In conclusion, if you enjoy Sakis on Washington Ave in Ocean Springs you will like Koi because they are pretty similar in atmosphere and menu.

It was our first time here and the service was really good. It server was prompt and the hibachi chef was very courteous of the children at the table when it came to the fire show. We didn't really like the noodles though. I don't think we will order those again.

Great tasting food, friendly service, and many options to choose from. Koi has always been a favorite and will always be my go-to for Sushi in the area. Don't forget to try their desserts either!

Service was quick and friendly. Food was served fast and hot. Some of the best fried rice I've ever had. Loved the lighting, atmosphere and getting to hear the Hibachi chefs work. Our waiter Alex was the absolute best. Definitely going back again.

SO DELICIOUS!! We were passing through town and this was across from our motel. Best egg drop soup. Great spider roll and shrimp tempura roll. AMAZING menu. Something for everyone!!!

I didn't care for the fact that you had to share rice with everyone at the table and some people got more than others. Also the meat portions were very small. The chef was awesome in explaining what he was doing though, very personable and friendly. Way too expensive for me and not worth what we paid.

Service wasn't great and the sushi was so dry and tasteless. But everything else that we ordered was actually very delicious. The steak, tempura chicken and shrimp were so yummy. It's a very cute place but I wouldn't recommend the sushi.

CPR Cell Phone Repair (Gulfport)

Koi is right around the corner from our cell phone and computer repair shop. If you want solid entertainment for dinner, their hibachi experience is the way to go. Ironically, we saw one of our prior repair shop customers there and they were coincidentally placed at the same table us as. Needless to say, we had a blast (and helped them at the shop afterwards). Koi also has delicious sushi and soup that we order regularly when we cannot hang out for hibachi.

My food was ok, but i couldn't order what i wanted because Hibachi can only be ordered at the Hitachi tables. I don't like sitting in those sections due to anxiety, so it was disappointing that i couldn't order it at a regular table.

The outside is not much to look at. But once you get in the establishment. It is clean and nice. Our waiter was friendly and the lunch box was plenty to eat. Would highly recommend. Great job team.

I had a hard time finding good restaurants in Gulfport. Found this one 2 days before leaving. Ate here twice for lunch. The food, portions, presentation, and price were all really good. Yummy and healthy, and very filling. You could easily split your bento box lunch into 2 meals. Came with friends the 2nd time. They liked their lunches, too.

One word…. DIVINE! Koi is my favorite sushi & hibachi spot on the entire MS Gulfcoast. I always have to start with the fried calamari, edamame and/or some fried shrimp. The hot sake is fabulous & my favorite rolls on the menu are: Mango Tango (#1 fav never come without having it), Tuna Lover, How I Roll & Spicy Tuna Roll. The owner & his staff are always so friendly & quick to seat us. Never disappointed ever. Thank y’all for providing an awesome atmosphere that my spouse & I can enjoy for date night. 😁🥰

The food was amazing. The chef was outstanding. I would leave five stars but our server was horrendous. I work in the restaurant field so I’m very understanding in some situations. But my family was waiting for over 30 minutes to even get our drink order and appetizers. And then other people joined our hibachi table shortly after. They ordered their apps and got theirs before the server realized she forgot to even put in our sushi rolls. We canceled the sushi. Then was rude about asking for sauce and said she has to charge. Which I understand but the way it was said was rude. Then we waited 20 minutes for a drink refill and had to get up and get it ourselves.

We've been visiting this restaurant for years. We were upset when we found out they were no longer at the old location, but so excited when we found out they only moved. We LOVE them!! We've always had hibachi and loved every single bite! The other night we had dine in instead, and it was so dang good. We got the steak and lobster meal and the steak and veggies were so dang good. The lobsters were overdone and not my favorite, but everything else was amazing. We got a couple different things from the sushi menu to try also which were so good! Crunchy roll and Spider roll were hits! Clear soup is always our go to, as no one else offers it and it's so dang good, along with the salad! 👏 So excited for our next visit!!

This place was SO GOOD!! I’ve eaten at serveral different hibachi restaurants in different states and my husband and I both agreed this place beat them all! We got a jalapeño popper app they had featured and it was amazing. I had a lunch box option w steak and he got a fried rice bowl and they were both amazing. The steak was marinated and cooked perfect. Will definitely be back for more and recommend this over hibachi express any day of the week.

It's alright maybe less sauce on everything couldn't finished the unagi don because it was too salty from the sauce and not enough rice. The squid steak was over cook and salty because the amount of butter used. The Cao roll had too much sauce that it was also too salty. The service needs work.

The waitress we had was amazing. We had a party of nine (9) and she did very well with remembering our orders, not forgetting anything, and keeping us regularly serviced without disrupting us. The food was spectacular. I had the chicken fried rice and eel roll. This was definitely my favorite fried rice of all the Asian restaurants I have eaten at in my life. The eel roll was prepared well in aesthetics and delectable down to every morsel. Definitely recommend this place to others in town

Best hibachi around! Our server was knowledgeable, available, welcoming, and helpful. Our chef was also friendly and entertaining. We both got filet hibachi and also a sushi roll to share. I would highly recommend the uncle roll. It was delicious and we had a couple at our table ask which one it was, as it looked as good as it tasted! Steaks were cooked accurately and everything else was amazing as well.

Nice hibachi dinner. Extensive sushi menu, I highly recommend the Biloxi Roll. but the same cannot be said for the drink menu. The chefs are a delight and the waitress is so kind and accommodating. The hostess was a bit short with customers but probably because they were ready to close for the new year. We were denied the opportunity to eat outside, although they have outdoor seating. We were also told that we could only have hibachi chicken and rice if we sat at the grill. Overall, I would eat here again as the food is absolutely delicious.

Order was ready on time. Attempting to have a healthier lifestyle and they accommodated the request for rolls to be wrapped in cucumbers. We also had clear soup and cucumber salad all seemed fresh and appropriately made. Clear soup had a great flavor and the cucumber wrapped rolls were crisp and fresh . Great service for take-out.

The food was great, the service was even better. Our hibachi chef was named Wee I believe. He was so sweet to our twin toddlers, he shaped their fried rice like hearts and even cut up their shrimp for them without being asked. He was very entertaining; he had the whole table laughing the entire time,10 out of 10 would recommend him. We did ,however, wait at our table for close to an hour before the cooking began. That’s the only reason I deducted a star. And I realize they did this to all the hibachi guests, obviously they wanna wait till the table is full before the cooking starts since there are limited hibachi tables but we’d been waiting there so long it was time to start cooking and they sat more people with us at the last minute so we had to wait for them to get their drinks/soups/salads though we were long done with ours. We will definitely go back though

Had such a blast here with my family! Our Vietnamese cook, made such a great meal, the spices and sauces that he used on the hotplate were phenomenal! The filet and shrimp are amazing! And the chicken is very good too! We met a couple across from us that work in the Navy, and we were all cracking jokes, the cook even put my shrimp on his plate. When he used the oil to light the hot plate on fire, he yelled out “someone call 911” and then sprayed water out of a bottle onto my son. Then he took a dollop of butter and put it on my daughter’s plate at least 5 feet through the air, calling it a butterfly! She stared at it like it was an alien not knowing what he just did! Very family-friendly place very friendly people, and amazing food! Then the cook asked if Charlie would like some more sauce, more catch up with her hibachi chicken, pulled out one of those old-school plastic catch up bottles and scored it right on her but it was fake. Will definitely be visiting here again! It’s connected to the Luxury Inn on Highway 49 across from Walmart in Gulfport, they renovated the place into a restaurant and it is a great place for great food and good prices!

We had a decent size party that consisted of 2 adolescents and a toddler as well as the adults. They were able to seat us immediately. That was great. The service was good. Our chef was amazing!!! He was entertaining, funny, and cooked our food to perfection! He had no problem with any of our preferences. The only issue I had tho was that the floor around the table we were sat at hadn't really been cleaned well. There were still piece of food all over the floor. We has to kick them to the side. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience.

Love the bento box lunch! Really can't beat the perfect portions for lunch for under $12 bucks. Sat on hibachi side once and it was ok, chicken was very over cooked so it was rubbery. Steak and veggies and rice were great!

I love Koi, if there's a sushi place I prefer over all, it's Koi. Good prices, good food, short wait, and consistently friendly staff! I'd typically end a review with my favorite menu item, but I just can't choose P.S. If you're a sushi person like me and you don't want to break bank, just order a combo fried rice with your sushi as a filler to keep you full!

the condensation from the hood kept dripping on me the whole dinner. I had to wear my rain jacket with the hood up so I could eat. with my hood up, I couldn't see the people sitting next to me. When I spoke to the manager about it, he said it was a recurring problem, but he didn't have any plans to fix it. I asked him why they bothered to sit people there if it was a problem that they encountered repeatedly. (Not very professional.) He did offer to move me and my family, but there were a lot of us and we were hungry, so I didn't want to start over and wait for another table to open up and a chef to be available. I will say however, that the grill chef was great and so was the food. But ultimately we won't go back. You don't pay full price for a hibachi grilled dinner to have to eat it in the rain.

The food is great! However, Koi has recently downsized to a smaller venue making wait times longer. I hate that I have to come to my favorite hibachi restaurant and wait 30+ minutes for seating. Also, there were 3 individuals who arrived after me; yet, they were seated before me. Highly disappointed.

Good good, hibachi chef was good. Service was lacking. They plated my "no refunds" Atomic Roll very spicy sushi on the same plate as my wife's not spicy sushi, do she couldn't eat part of hers. Public restroom is in attached, very run-down and dirty motel. Sadly, in spite of good food, any competition will edge this place out. Prices are the same as any other mid to high end hibachi restaurant.

The food was great, poor management. We had a party of 7 and only 6 had arrived. The host refused to seat us because "it was their policy not to seat until the group was all present". No, they were not that busy. So I asked for the manager (obviously the host was doing what he was told]. "We do not have a manager today". Seriously! So we debated on leaving and the 7th party assured us they were close enough and we waited. The food and waitstaff were wonderful but I will never bring a group to meet there again. There are to many places that would welcome $100+ ticket

Delicious. We ordered the atomic bomb ( VERY hot even for this heat lover), the Beloxi roll and another roll. Also ordered the dumplings, shrimp spring rolls and kids chicken teriyaki and tempura and my picky eaters LOVED it. Very happy with our experience. Staff was super attentive as well. Thank you.

Looks a little ragged driving up. It's a remodeled motel. But the food and service is excellent and prices surprisingly low for all that you get. Better than Panda Express and you get the whole restaurant experience. Nice quiet ambience. Very pleasant experience altogether. 3 of us got Bento boxes was less than 50 bucks with tip. They also have hibachi if you prefer.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for hibachi. Me and my boyfriend drove from Ocean springs and were not disappointed. The service was amazing, and the food was just perfect. We both had the hibachi (mine shrimp his steak) it came with VERY gracious portions, as well as soup and salad. The Egg drop soup was the best we've ever had. It was an amazing experience and we will definitely make the extra drive just for how amazing everything was.
