Had the Fiesta Enchilada, absolutely delicious. Service was a little slow, however, I was the only one sitting at the bar with no where else to be. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area. Laid back atmosphere and friendly wait staff make for a great experience.

This place has great authentic Mexican food. The serving sizes are large and the prices are low. They have a variety of vegan options. The drinks are made with top shelf liquors and not watered down. SN: You will definitely need a designated driver when you’re done! Lol. This place is one of my favorite spots. You will not be disappointed.

I'm visiting from Arizona and I've been here for about 4 months now before finally deciding to eat some Mexican as i was debating even doing so because I really didn't think I'd find anything worth trying. While casually driving past this place i decided to stop by and grab something to eat. I go in and there is only one other person in there eating, it's about 5pm at this point and the vibe is welcoming, i get seated quickly and asked what I'd like to drink (gotta get the horchata). Waiter comes back within a few minutes with what i thought would be your same old same old sized restaurant drink, but no i got a freaking MINI PITCHER! Some chips and salsa then showed up which were absolutely perfect while waiting on the main meal. I then ordered the Churrazco, per the waiters suggestion, along with some tacos de al pastor and lengua. Fast forward about 6-10min and the food shows up. The portions for the churrazco was exactly what I expected (decent serving), but i was pleasantly caught by surprise by the size of the tacos (there's no holding back on portions here). I'm about 30min into my meal and next thing i now the whole place is packed. I somehow managed to finish just about everything and even though I was extremely full i still wanted to keep munching away at the chips and salsa. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to enjoy some authentic Mexican cuisine. The food speaks for itself and so does the crowd this place draws in. TLDR; Food tasty, portions bountiful, vibes casual, and priced very well.

I go to Jalapeños quite often. The food is delicious and plentiful. Very reasonably priced, also. After trying several Mexican restaurant along the Coast, I have decided that this will be the only Mexican restaurant I will go to.

We stopped in after reading some great reviews and were not disappointed. The lunch specials were very reasonable, the portions were perfect and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were friendly and quick to help and answer questions. The food was quick to come out and hot at the table. The salsa and chips were very good!

Was introduced to this place about a week ago it was extremely good at dinner time. So I took a customer for lunch today and Doris was our waitress. She is absolutely fantastic. Got the Hawaiian fajitas and got my food so fast. Will definitely be returning. This place has the best Mexican food around here imo.

Had a lunch special. Very reasonably priced at 10 for 2 tacos and a chicken enchilada, rice and beans. The fried taco was definitely the star of that plate. They definitely have the best cheese dip in town

We had a take out order. The waitress was friendly and polite. The order was quickly taken, ordered a chicken and a steak burrito, 2 beef tacos and oh it was tasty and so so good food. Thinking we get a little seven inch one we got a huge one enough to feed 3 people. Half of the burrito was filled with meat the rest with shredded salat sour cream, cheese etc.... and fresh ships and salsa which was fresh made and tasted so so yummy. I have a sensitive stomach and it was so tasty, handled the food without any problems. You won't be disappointed check out the picture and go get a burrito.

My husband and I split the combo fajitas and both enjoyed them. Definitely had enough to take it home and use it for breakfast burritos. My drink order got a little messed up, but our server was quick to fix it. We love having this restaurant in our neighborhood! Oh, the cheese dip is DELICIOUS.

This was my first time eating here, only because I’m not usually in this area. First of all don’t let the outside appearance fool you. The inside is very nice and clean. Also the food is very good and fresh. Also they have build your own combinations. You can do two or three main dishes with rice and beans. The best part is it’s very cheap both are under $10.00. I eat at a lot of Mexican places but this is the first I found with build your own combination. Everything I had was great. Also you get your own salsa bowl, so you don’t have to share with someone. The service was also excellent. If I’m in the area again, I will be back.

We love this place Usually. I always send people here. But today was disappointing. I always order the extra hot sauce even pay for it. Sometimes we get it Sometimes not. The salsa is so good. If it's not old. Today my lid was bubbled and the salsa was bubbling. This has happened a few times.. we do takeout multiple orders so it's hard to check. And today my order wasn't right

I had the cheese & steak enchiladas and they were good. If you like cheese, this is what you want. Steak, queso fundido , rice and beans. Very good plate. They have a big menu to choose from. I’ll try something else next time. Prices are decent. Churros are very good!! Very good customer service!! Reason they don’t get a five stars but very close to getting it, is because the bathroom wasn’t cleaned good enough and dining area could be cleaned up better. A good 4 start almost 5.

Food taste really good. One of the best on the coast. But, if you ask for specific items to be cooked a way. The cook never does it. So don't ask for specifications. The staff is a little careless. If you ask anything special which is super easy to do they are uninterested in making sure it's corrected. Other than that food is Hella good. Oh and they're a bit on the expensive side.

One of the best Mexican restaurants on the coast. I've tried almost every Mexican restaurant here but the food is water down everywhere. But this restaurant is authentic. Very flavorful food. Food was plenty. The waitress warned us about how much food the appetizer we ordered was and it would be plenty for 2 people. We did not listen and also had an entree each and ended up with 3 Togo boxes. Food was hot and good. The salsa is a little spicy (nothing new) for me but my husband loved it. This place is the best Mexican food restaurant I have found on the coast. I always order a chile relleno to test and see how good the food is and it is one of or the best chile rellenos I've had. There salsa is full of flavor and there chips are thin and lightly salted to perfection. We go out of our way to eat here and it is worth it 100%.

I love their food but...EVERY SINGLE TIME I've called to place an order for pickup they said, just a minute, then put the phone down and forgot about it. One time I drove down there while still waiting, and they couldn't even find the phone. I was still connected. Happened again tonight. After 15 mins of hearing every conversation taking place at the front desk, I hung up. As I said, I love the food but you need to dine in or place your order in person. Not once have I been able to place an order over the phone. I will add that when I have dined in the service was always outstanding.

We ordered the fried fish and carne adasa. The fish was large and tasted amazing and the carne asada came with tons of onions and the flavor was good. The strawberry water tasted like koolaid without sugar (not good). We asked for a tamarind after that and they forgot to bring it out. Free chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. They did charge $1 for an extra lime for the fish. Servers seemed busy and not in great moods. Overall, we'll order the fish and will be back again (with our own limes).

Got the veggie fajitas.....oh. my. gosh. The flavor....was so savory and delicious. Giant meal for only 10.99. Large fajita plate with tortillas, rice, beans, lettuce and Pico de gallo. The house margaritas are perfect. Not too sweet, not too sour. We have tried many places for Taco Tuesday, and believe we will finally settle on this spot.

The place is always clean and you are seated very quickly. Sometimes it may take a while for you to get your entree. But that's to be expected when you go on taco Tuesday! Just by a drink and the tacos are $.99. They have choices of corn, flour, or fried. My favorite has always been the chips and salsa though! Good stuff!

About as fast food as you can get for a restaurant. Fajitas started slipping... They looked the same but about two of the slivers of steak were inedible. Had to switch to the happy plate!!! Other than the chip lady being personal and the fajitas(I haven't tried again in over a year) being a little tough, love this place

I really enjoyed the steak tacos but I give it a 3 because they charged me for the cilantro and onion that should have come with the steak tacos and rice. I also did find a bed bug on the counter when I went to pay. I pointed it out to the waitress and she just threw it in the garbage.

I'm a regular now. My previous go-to for Mexican was El Agave, but once we tried Jalapeno Grill we never looked back. The prices are better, the staff are more friendly, the salsa is better, the food is better, the atmosphere is better. There isn't a Mexican restaurant in Gulfport we haven't tried...this one wins hands down.

Went in for lunch after rush. Greeted and seated immediately. Had lunch carnitas. Very good, nice portion. Also had alacart chilli relleno and white cheese was used which made me happy. Batter on relleno was nice not hard or just falling off. In other words a proper relleno. Also had order of guacamole which was done right. Avocados mashed with good seasoning, not whipped like store bought or frozen. Service was fine. Waiter took care of my needs. I feel food price was reasonable. Been looking for decent Mexican food, not just burritos from Slidell to Biloxi. This is by far the best so far.
