1 - the vibe is great 2- the food is amazing 3 - the service is okay Beautiful spot with a great atmosphere! I order a couple drinks along with the German brat with classic toppings with a side of sweet potato fries and beer cheese. The brat was perfect, French bread amazing, fries perfectly seasoned and cooked. The service wasn't bad but could have been better. At the time I went, it was not busy but the bartenders/servers were hard to come by. Aside from that, it was overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone in Fargo wanting some quality food and great beer!

I absolutely love this place. I got the elk wurst and my girlfriend got poutine and both were packed full of flavor and left us feeling full. They have a great variety of beers on tap and even a few ciders, which I appreciated. Friendly staff, bustling atmosphere but still easy to have a conversation. Overall a great experience and we will be back again.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crazy busy, which we were very thankful for as we found most places in Fargo get really packed with people from out of town on the weekends. I ordered a strawberry/peach sour, when the server brought it over I took a sip and it was pure salt water. I gagged and was horrified at the taste. When our server came back, I politely told him it was disgusting and asked if that was suppose to taste like saltwater. He was confused and right away said he'd get me a new one. He left and then came back 5 minutes later and profusely apologized for the error. Apparently the bartender had not flushed out the saline solution and that was what was poured for me. Ick. He gave me a new glass of the sour and it was quite delicious. The food overall was really good. We started with Bavarian pretzels and they were hot and soft; our entrees were the Jaeger Schnitzel and Porketta sandwich. The schnitzel was was slightly over cooked but still flavorful and the cabbage was some of the best we've ever had. The porketta was flavorful, juicy and tender. It would have been a 5 if not for the saline incident but I'm glad that means they're keeping everything clean!

Excellent and authentic German food. Several imports on tap as well as many great local brews. I was very excited to see borscht soup on the menu. The borscht came with plenty of dill and sour cream like they serve in Moscow.

As I enter the low lit schene in downtown Fargo, we approach the wurst bier hall. The industrial environment with oak wood accents echoes glimpses of the pagan origins of Germany’s wicca past. The steel beams and chain link fence personify the power and industrial nature of the German people. I felt as though I was able to feast through the timeline of the Germanic people. Meat, beer, and kraut. Mmm

Great food. Great service. The rabbit and Rattlesnake schnitzel was very good. Only ordered it because it seemed like an extreme combination of otherwise unusual protein but I have to say it was totally awesome!

We got the poutine, pretzels, jagerschnitzel with knoephla and cabbage, and sausage flight. All of it was amazing! The schnitzel was perfectly crispy and the mushroom gravy on everything was delicious. The bahn mi style sausage roll was our favorite of that flight. Both the appetizers were amazing as well, but I think the pretzels won out as a favorite (just barely!) Great beer selection as well, with LOTS on tap. Had 90s music videos playing on the TVs, very friendly and inclusive LGBT vibes from staff and customers which we didn’t expect but really appreciated! Felt right at home I’m a city we’d never been to. Took a minute to grab our waiter for the check but it was a busy Friday night so totally understandable. Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu!

I chose the rabbit/rattlesnake brat and it had a great flavor. The bun was a little tough on the outside, but maybe that's just the way it is supposed to be. The sweet potato fries are definitely worth the $1.00 upcharge. So tasty.

Loved everything we ate here! The spatzele Mac and cheese was awesome. Loved the cheese sauce with the hint of acid from the white wine. Wursts were great. Our fav was the Philly cheesesteak. Wish we had gone with a bigger group so we could have tried more things!

This. Freaking. Place. Everything we had here was absolutely amazing. If I lived in the area, you couldn't keep me away! The pretzels were the absolute best any of us had ever had in our whole lives!

After my first visit here I wasn’t originally going to write a review, but once I visited again and it was just as fantastic as the first time, I decided to finally give Wurst Bier some much deserved recognition. Don’t be fooled by the name- they serve far from the “wurst” items.. more like the “bierst” German food and tap drinks. Ha, I tried really hard there so please just appreciate the effort. There are two Wurst Biers- this downtown location and one in West Fargo. I believe this is the original location, and it’s way freaking cooler than the WF one anyways so come to this one for the full experience. It’s just got such a cool vibe and it’s different in each room depending where you sit (or outside!). Okay, so real talk. You can’t go wrong with any of their appetizers, and their bavarian pretzels are absolutely TO DIE FOR. Yep, you read right- their pretzels are incredible. They’re about the size of your face and come with cheese and marshmallow dipping, and are heaven in your mouth. The food here is just fantastic- heavy, as it is German food, but fantastic nonetheless. And they have a lot of good alcohol options to pair them with. There’s even a bacon & beer flight where you have 4 types of bacon and specialty beers to wash down each bacon with. Tons of fun!

Hofbrau bier on tap! Great selection of beers both foriegn and domestic crafts. A different take on classic German food such as spaetzle, red cabbage and pierogi. Great selection of sausages!

Nice selection of taps. I had Bavarian pretzels. They were excellent and the dipping sauces were the best I've had anywhere. We full time RV and visit breweries in every town, so best ever for me means a lot! Hubby had a glazed ham sandwich which he also said was excellent.

You NEED to get the beer boot! So fun, great selection of choices. We also got the wurst platter and it was enough for 4 people, we were stuffed. Great service, atmosphere, and staff - we will return when we visit Fargo again!

Service and quality are both definitely starting to slip here. I've eaten here many times and have to write a new review after the past 3 or 4 visits. The staff was visibly annoyed to serve us, the food for nearly everyone at the table was cold or foul tasting. Some servers are still great here, but several of them make this place really terrible to visit.

I lived in Germany for three years, and the schnitzel here is legit. I could tell that they make it fresh, and its not the frozen stuff a lot of restaurants use. Highly recommend.

Very good food, we always enjoy Wurst. The downtown location is a bit more busy and more difficult for parking, so we had to wait a while. But the pretzels are worth it!

If you want to try Rabbit, Boar or Pheasant sausage, they have it. Large selection of local beers, mead and ciders to go with numerous mustards and sauces to put on your pretzels and brats. You can even drink beer out of a glass boot! They were playing Soundgarden and classic rock, which I like. And the Transformers movies on big Screens, of which, I do not.

Very American, nobody spoken German sadly. The bacon flight is worth the $5 price tag and my family devoured the giant pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce. Friendly service and clean bathrooms. Family friendly too.

It's been over a year since I was here, and I still think about their Würst Bánh Mì with some regularity. It was an interesting matrimony of German and Vietnamese cuisine, but they absolutely nailed it! If I find myself in Fargo, I'll definitely be stopping by.

The perogies are amazing!! My wife had the rabbit and snake sausage and it was delicious. I had the Jager schnitzel, the crust was crispy and good flavor. The spaeztle dumplings was good texture, but would like more flavor. I wish I asked for extra gravy. They do offer enough for most people, but I like mine with more gravy. Will go back to try more of their menu.

Amazing! Wanted to try some "North Dakota food". We ordered pretzels with marshmallow fluff and nacho cheese, borscht, German potato salad, perogi and kuchen. So good and a very decent price.

I enjoyed the atmosphere here, foods great. The only set back I had with Wurst Bier is maybe they could add photos to the menu. The menu had a lot to select from, but I didn't know what the options look like. The management and staff we're very cheerful and pleasing. When I'm able I will be visiting again.

Delicious food and a great selection of adult beverages. I had a glass of mead and the wurst sampler. I was very satisfied and pleased. I also ate the poutine, which was very delicious. I suggest a stop to eat, drink, and enjoy the retro music. Two thumbs up.

Würst has a relaxed feel from the moment you walk in. The place is very spacious and inviting. And much like the name suggests, the menu geared towards bratwurst. The menu has an assortment of delicious brats to choose from, but also has some other notable items in there like the Buzzfeed mentioned Spaetzle Mac & Cheese. This was one of the items I had today, and it is understandable why its gotten some attention. The pasta isn't the usual elbow macaroni, but Spaetzle which is a traditional German dumpling and its accompanied with beurre blanc cheese sauce. The warm creamy, savoury goodness is certainly good to comfort those who order it, especially on those cold and windy Fargo days. The other dish I ordered was the Buffalo Bleu brat, which is a buffalo style flavor with bleu cheese, which was good, but there was more bleu than buffalo, so I didn't get that desired heat, but it was still delicious. And of course you can't forget about the extensive tap selection to wash down whatever hearty meal you decide. Definitely a good spot to drink or dine. And if you have any questions, the staff there is very helpful and more than kind.

Nice place and staff. They serve good German food and have a good variety of German beers. We took the big pretzel plate with sausages and it was amazing. Best pretzel we ate in North America but unlike the German bretzel it has fried finish (or seems to be). The Düsseldorf mustard they have on tables is really the mustard you can buy at Düsseldorf in Germany (we tasted both), and it's really good. As people living near the border of Germany, this restaurant feels like home.

I was visiting from Canada and I went here with my partner right before closing. The server was friendly, attentive, and did not making us feel rushed. The sausage and fries were phenomenal. I look forward to coming back here again!

Stopped in Fargo for a bite. Wasn't too sure where to go and wanted something other than burgers. I liked the idea of some German food and was excited to see jägerschnitzel on the menu. I used to live in Germany and that was my favorite dish. While this wasn't exactly like I remember, it was delicious in its own right. I'd definitely stop in again if I'm ever in town. The staff was friendly and attentive. They have a large beer on tap selection, in the 40's I think, some are a bit gimmicky, though. All around great place and seemed like a hotspot.

Today my son and I enjoyed the Sausage Platter with Giant Pretzel for Lunch. First of all, it truly serves 3-4 as the menu states and was WAY too much for the 2 of us - but boy was it delicious! The sausages all tasted great, the vegetables were tasty and the pretzel was my favorite of all - soft and fluffy on the inside, with a salty, buttery brown and crisp crust made all the better with a dip in the cheese sauce. Great early dinner--the big pretzel appetizer with cheese & marshmallow fluff is incredible. Served hot out of the oven with great texture and flavor. Good variety on the menu--we had Polish and Hawaiian brats, as well as traditional schnitzel and spaetzle with red cabbage--all delicious. Pay extra for the sweet potato fries--best we've ever eaten.

Not the wurst but the absolute best! What an amazing beer selection (with plenty of ciders or mixed drinks for people like me who have trouble with beer-y beer). Let my dog sit on the patio with me and even gave him some water! If you get the pretzel, try it with the marshmallow fluff, it’ll taste like a pancake from Heaven! Staff was super friendly, will be back!

A wonderful find after 2000 miles of driving. Chicago tomDevils Tower and stops thru out, this was one of the silver linings of the journey. This is like your German beer hall! Community tables spread out. The wait staff was very nice and friendly and great for recommendations! We did the Bavarian pretzels, a must at a German place! Then the elk jalapeno and cheddar and the Philly cheese steak wurst. Shared fries, which were bland, I would have loved some seasoning. We got the Chipotle ranch and blue cheese walnut dipping sauces and those were amazing! Would recommend! Children friendly too!

This place was just fantastic. Really. Go here. The food is outstanding and the meat expertly cooked. I've not had red cabbage that tasty since my visit to Germany, and I think it was better than what I had over there. 100% go for the currywurst, it's something that's hard to find outside Berlin and if you run across it in the states jump on the chance to have it. Sausage with ketchup mixed with curry powder, simple and unoffensive but delicious. Also, if you are a fan of beer. Craft, foreign, and mass you will find a good time here. They know their stuff and will be able to appeal to any of your preferences. Try something new and expand your horizons!

Best kielbasa I've ever had. I kissed this one because I loved it so much. 11/10 go here if it fits within your dietary restrictions/diet. The service and beer are incredible too! It's prompt, friendly, and the servers check on you frequently, which I appreciate. Highly recommend!

Very good food. Waiter could have come to the table more. But other than that it was a great experience. Had a nice Green apple beer that tasted awesome. I wasn't impressed by the perogies I ordered. They had sauce on them that was a mix of curry and Sriracha. The perogies were good but the sauce didn't pair well with them. IMO.

Excellent service and great food. The Bavarian Pretzels are must try. Nice and clean atmosphere. Parking was a bit difficult, but you can't expect greatness in a downtown setting.

Ok this is the best place to go when you are in Fargo. My husband being German, I surprised and now he said we will be coming here every time we are in Fargo. I order for him a brat with curry sauce and bread and I order a German brat with curry and bread and we also had hot potato salad. I tell since I am European and have lived in Germany this is the closest to the real German food you will get west of the Mississippi. The beer was awesome too. I recommend you to go eat there. The place is clean and cosy. Go eat here when you are in Fargo.

This place is amazing! We enjoyed the fun electric vibe. The Saturday afternoon we were there, the place was bustling with people of all ages. We had a hard time to choose from the many brews they had on tap but we were able to get over the choices easier thanks to the flight of bacon appetizer. YUM! For my choice from the delightfully dusted menu of sausages and bratwursts, I chose the hot Italian sausage with a side of Mac n cheese spaetzle. The sandwich came with a pleasant fresh gardeniera that was hot but also amazing!! No trip to Fargo is complete without a trip to this clever and inventive place! I wish I could give them 6 stars!!

Atmosphere is so fun. Their food tastes genuine. It is not too salt & you keep coming back for more. Love the Choose 3 Sausage platter, but the secret is the homemade warm pretzel & all the sides. They are all delicious!

Great beer selection, appetizers were really good. Pro tip, ask for curry schnitzel. It's not on the menu here but it's jager schnitzel without the mushroom gravy, then get curry sauce which they have for the curry wurst. Spectacular. Nice portion size and delicious. Seriously, not to be missed.

Fortunately for the people of Fargo, there is no shortage of excellent dining options. However, Wurst is one of those I absolutely return to every time I come to town. Aside from the outstanding beer selection, the funky, German/sausage heavy menu is absolutely wonderful. I’ve always had quick and friendly service, and staff seems to work more as a team than at other restaurants. On top of that, I’ve known the TV/music system to play everything from U2 to Brian Ferry videos.

Only was driving through Fargo, but stopped here for the night for a quick comfortable dinner and some drinks. Best pretzels and cheese dip I've ever had (which is a weird thing to exclaim). Also has a fun bacon flight to try out. Just solid food, would recommend for anyone passing through.

So delicious! Usually when I get pretzels, I'm disappointed by the pretzel itself, the cheese, or both. This place was no let down, I was definitely impressed! Stellar service, too!

This Germany Restaurant is not necessarily a place for a traditional German food but more of hip side and touch of the modern taste of German Food. The interior is felt more like a bar than a typical German Restaurant but also have to admit the fact that many of the traditional German Restaurants are also usually goes with a bar considering the goodness of German beer that always comes with a traditional German restaurant. In such a sense, this place is definitely more of modern side of German restaurant considering its interior decoration as well as its food. This is the only, so far, place I was able to get the "baked" schnitzel and I am not sure if you can find it in different place. However, if you are mainly focus on the German food, I highly recommend don't be blinded by this lack of traditionalness of German restaurant because you will have a very good German food at this place. Even with their Hipness and Modern taste, they still manage to have a good foundation of the traditional German Food. If you are looking for very good German Foods, specially with touch of eccentricity with "still" truth to traditional German Foods... You won't be disappointed. Of course, if you are looking for a very good food with also a very good German beer for Friday night, this can be one stop place for all of these. One of the down sides of this location, however, is a lack of parking space that only parking option is street parking.

Consistently good food and polite servers. They have some fun drinks on the menu outside of their beer selection. Make sure to ask for a cocktail menu! I have always been happy with the food - it's always hot and comes out in a reasonable amount of time, no matter how busy the restaurant is. I WISH they would bring back their cauliflower wings though - they were amazing!

Great service, great food. I was confused about the Mac and Cheese after Google told me it was on the list of Best Mac and Cheese in every state. First, the mac and cheese has the texture of gnocchi. Also it's not in the shape of macaroni (?). Perhaps I'm over critical, but just not what I'd expect from mac and cheese. It was still good. Anyways the pretzels and cheese curds were great. Didn't try the sausage, but I'm sure that would be great too. I'd definitely come here again, just not for the Mac and cheese.

Excellent German food and beer. Must start with the pretzels and try the Dusseldorf mustard! The Spätzle and brown gravy is delicious! Don’t forget to get a Hefeweizen to wash it all down!

Great atmosphere, food, and staff! I was in town for a wedding in October and had a couple hours to kill. Rolled in 2 minutes before they were technically open and was treated like a king. Asked them to pop on the Gopher game and they literally transformed the whole bar into a great gameday atmosphere for me. The staff popped on the sound, hung out at the bar with me, and had some awesome food recommendations. Thanks a ton for the great service!

Love, love this place. The food is fantastically prepared and so flavorful each time I’ve visited. I am obsessed with their poutine, and I have come to believe there are drugs in them. I am the person who will just order a poutine and water - I could eat it all the time and my day loves the gravy. The Beer list is quite extensive, and will suit those who have various tastes. Service is wonderful, I just need them to start partnering with a delivery service soon!!! (Management please consider)

Great food, fun atmosphere. Waitress was friendly, and very helpful. Tables were a little sticky, however, and could have used a good cleaning. Their food is also rather pricey, but tasty. Its up to you whether you want to spend about 5-7 dollars for sausages, but Id personally say it was worth it.

Our service was outstanding with her quick attention to all our needs. Food was great and crazy quick - we split the sausage plate and sweet potato fries.

I'd give wurst a very borderline 4 stars while it frankly should be a 3 but honestly it's only because of the food and of course their tap selection. Wurst has an amazing menu both food and drinks but they fall very short on customer service and par/or bad service can wreck the best food. Every time I've gone for a "quick" lunch I've ended up waiting for wait staff on both ordering, delivering and checkout. None of the time I've gone have they been over whelmed maybe 20 people (not tables). On top of that I'd say 40% of the time staff have been, not rude or short, but cold, I'd say. Why do I keep going back it's a good restaurant at the end of the day I just wish they could improve service, even bdubs is more attractive some days on that point alone. End of the day, give it a try, preferably for lunch because dinner can be a bear to get in. I can almost say for certain you'll enjoy the what they prepare.

On a road trip from PA to western MT in 2019, our meal at Wurst Bier Hall was the best food we had. Everything was delicious, the ambiance was comfortable and fun, and customer service was great (our server recommended our meals and they were perfect). Highly recommended!

Great place, amazing food!! We love it because large selection of beers, ciders, cocktails and non alcoholic drinks. We just went there last night after almost a year and went back the next day for lunch & ordered the same AGAIN! Bacon Flight is a must, the Pretzel Sticks are you die for & get both Marshmallow Fluff and Beer Cheese dip! The fries are crispy and just enough salt, oh & with their homemade Ranch dip! Oh my maybe we'll have to go back tomorrow too!

I had the Kielbasa and progress along with a nice dark beer they let me sample first. The perogies had a just right spicy sauce poured over them with a lot of sour cream...that was necessary to cool that spice down a bit. The Kielbasa was good.

I've had worse! Okay, I came here based on the name first. Word play is always appreciated. I do wish they sold shirts or something. My server is a rockstar with a great personality and knows the menu, able to guide a stranger to a good meal. I had fancy Mac and cheese with a bison and cheddar sausage. The dumplings (fancy Mac) were good maybe too plentiful. The sausage had good flavor maybe a bit dry. Eat the dumplings fast, the sauce becomes paste quickly as it cools. I would go back despite being the wurst beer hall in Fargo. 😉

I called in for takeout and without realizing ordered from the west Fargo location instead of downtown which is where I showed up to pick up my food. The employees there were extremely accommodating of my mistake and made my order in a matter of minutes. The food here is decently priced and absolutely delicious, the employees are super friendly, and the bier is fantastic! I would always recommend this restaurant!

Extremely good food! Brought the whole family, even the kids found something they would eat! I had the Guiness and apricot ham sandwich and it was amazing. Atmosphere is nice, watching music videos from the 80s with our kids was fun. Service was good. We will definitely be back!

Atmosphere is really great, music wasn’t too loud, but the food.........holy wowsers was it fantastic. 100% recommend the sausage player for 4-6 people and the Mac & Cheese, which truly fed a hungry group of 4 adults. The entire group could not stop talking about how yummy everything was, and how glad we were to stop by. Very satisfied and absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Fargo or who hasn’t been at all!! Beer choices were plenty, kids are allowed in the establishment, it’s an all-around win, win.

The food was fantastic! The beer was great and the bartender was super sweet (can't remember her name, sorry)! I told her I'd never been and she was so helpful, she pointed out things that I should try. She said their Spaetzel Mac and Cheese was featured on Man Vs. Food, and their Bratwursts are out of this world delicious! I ordered the Rabbit, Rattlesnake and Jalapeno Bratwurst. Holy hell! For an "after dinner drink" I had a hard apple cider that was made with mango and habanero. Will definitely be back to try more brats!

I went there today for my first time, and I wish that I lived in Fargo, so I could go again. The service was very good and the food was excellent. We tried the pretzel with beer sauce. It was piping hot and the beer cheese dipping sauce was very good. Then I tried the Cheddar Jalapeno Wurst which was also very good. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Wurst is a great local favorite with biergarten-style seating. Big selection of beers, including local brews and German imports. You can't go wrong with a Wurst sandwich but my favorite meals are the Spaetzel Mac & Cheese and the Porchetta Banh Mi

The servers have the right combo of attentiveness and giving a person space. I never felt rushed to hurry up and finish eating but I never felt that the waiter had taken too long to come back and check in with us either. The menu has a pretty good variety of various wursts as well as other food. There are various dips you can order with your fries. Our waiter suggested the marshmallow fluff with sweet potato fries and I fully endorse the pairing. It was delicious!

Awesome authentic German restaurant! One of the best brats I've ever had. They also have a lot of delicious appetizers, I suggest the pretzels. Their beer selection is huge, which is good since they are a beer hall. It can be pretty busy on weekends, but I haven't had to wait more than a few minutes for a table.

The beer selection had something for everyone, and the sweet potato fries were alright. The waiter recommended marshmallow fluff as a dip which is crazy talk...but maybe crazy delicious. We went with the spicy dip which was so-so. The prezels with cheese dip were on point. The service was super chill. Like so chill dude forgot about the order or forgot to get the beer, but he was friendly so...ya. no biggie. We will definitely be back.

This place is awesome! From the atmosphere to the food. Feeling a bit on the wild side? Wurst has an exotic brat list that cycle new brats in and out. Not a full German style food offering but more than enough choices. Beer hall seating and kid friendly until 9pm. And yes das boot. No live band entertainment that I'm aware of like at some halls but I did see trivia one evening.

I love this place, it's one of my regular spots. They have an enormous beer selection, incredibly attentive staff, and a bright atmosphere. The music videos playing on flatscreens around the place are fun, too. I've never had trouble finding a spot to sit or felt ignored by the waitstaff.Also, they debuted a brand-new vegan menu in addition to their regular menu a couple months ago. It's incredible. Even meat-eaters I know will order their vegan bahn mi and deep-fried cauliflower bites. Personally, I think if you visit without ordering the pretzels, and fries with their signature curry ketchup, you're not doing it right.

This is a gem buried in downtown Fargo. They serve authentic, simple German food like brats and borscht soup. I absolutely love going here to eat with my girlfriend. Fantastic beer selection - one of the best you will find with tap beers from Germany and abroad. The food quality has never ever let me down. The ambiance is great and the staff is attentive and friendly. If you've never been here, you have to try it once!

The atmosphere is more of a selling point than the food itself. It is less of a traditional beer hall and more of a modern American interpretation of one, which actually makes it better for things such as a lunch meeting or a casual lunch with a drink. However, the price of the food is poorly reflected in the actual serving size, hence the four stars. I am a fat guy, so I might be more sensitive to this than normal.

This place was EXTREMELY accommodating to our rather large group of 15ish people. They found a space for us to rearrange tables at 5pm on a Saturday. That's certainly a quite busy peak time and they definitely went above and beyond for us. Despite the large group and the busy time of day, the service felt about on par as when I've been with considerably smaller groups during slower times. This location in particular I feel is better for larger groups than the Veteran's location, the seating isn't as set in stone and cramped. That being said, Würst is the Würst, and there is something to be said about not going downtown. You really can't go wrong with either. Cheers!

A must visit in Fargo!!!! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is fun with long communal wooden tables reminiscent of a German pub. All the brats are delicious, try a sausage flight with some exotic meats for a memorable experience. The pierogi’s are a perfect appetizer. They have a great line-up of beer taps from local and national microbreweries.

I was on a quest to hit all 50 and states, and found myself taking a detour to Fargo. I wanted to eat dinner at a decent place and my hotel recommended this restaurant. I was blown away by the great German food, great service and ambiance. This place has forever changed my perception of Fargo from the movie to a travel destination. I have been to Germany 3 times and love the food there. I have only eaten at one better German restaurant, in the US or Germany, and that is in Berlin. However they have a 2 to 3 week wait time to get in. So, visit this place! You will not be disappointed

Definitely a group style bar, old beer hall style seating mixed with house boot rules make for a great evening kick off (pun intended). Mix that with a decent selection of playfullyly Americanized Bavarian dishes and you've got a really nice place. Atmosphere is never the best but nor will it disappoint

We were pleasantly surprised our first time eating here. A family of 4 walked in, the youngest boy was about 7. Going by the name, Bier Hall, we didn't figure kids were welcome. That is not the case! Upon our second return we brought our 14 year old daughter. The food was very good. Mac N Cheese Spatzel, soft pretzels, the classic burger and the bacon flight. Bacon flight was smaller than I expected, but it's bacon. And soooo good! Wide selection of bier on tap. Had a seasonal cider and hubby had an IPA. Both very reasonably priced. Will be going back soon as they rotate the beer selection and have live music during the week.

I like this place a lot. It would be like a place you'd find in San Francisco. A large list of unique craft beer as well as a unique menu offering sausages served in various styles. I personally always get the spaetzel mac and cheese with two sausages. This is the best comfort food I've found (for dinner) so far in Fargo. Most of the tables are big and shared with others if it gets busy. However there are some smaller tables in the back if you need privacy.

We stopped by the West Fargo location last night before heading back to Grand Forks. This is a great place to eat! Nice atmosphere, good service, and tasty reasonably priced food. The Jager wasn't quite like we remember it being in Germany but it was still very good. $13 for the entree, and we had enough left over to take for tomorrow's lunch. The beer selection is great. Weihenstephaner Pilsner is a great beer on draft and I was happy to see they had it.

They have a wide selection of German and craft beers. Did not seem to have beer flights. Had pretzel appetizer, and the mustard choices went well with the pretzel. The cheese sauce was only ok, had a nice zippy amount of heat. We tried a couple of sausage sandwiches - very tasty. The buns/rolls were fresh and crusty. There are several interesting sausage choices left for us to try.

Really fun place for lunch. The atmosphere was reminiscent of an elementary school lunchtime combined with a really put-together cookout. There are big bench tables to sit at, the space was kid-friendly, and, most importantly, the food was delicious. I will be back again.

Amazing rotating tap selection. Always something new to try beer wise. As for the food, everything is fantastic. Soups are delicious, the apps are the same. I'd try the perogies, one of my goto's. And besides the excellent sausages, the burgers are killer. If you haven't been here yet, try it. You won't be disappointed.

I wish I took a picture of our spread but sadly I didn't. The sausage flight was everything I needed to put some substance in my belly after beers from drekker and junkyard and set me up for more. Get the giant pretzel and take home the leftovers and thank yourself later for that. Cheese curd heads skip them. They are ok but lack the greasy crispy balance of a great curd. The beer selection however is outstanding. You could spend a night here so it's more than the pit stop it was to me on my first visit.

I don't drink but I can't resist the food!! I love this place for so many reasons. The atmosphere the location, the fantastic staff, and the amazing food! I have NEVER had anything I would't recommend. Poutine straight out of Montreal. Banh MI that's off the hook! The German selections are spot on. For my personal taste I wish the Red Cabbage had a little more vinegar, but it's still fantastic. No matter how busy it's always fast and easy to get a table. During the "Good" months in Fargo the street seating is PERFECT for for watching Down Town Fargo's Wildlife :-)) Great job folks, Jamie

I like this place, the reason for only 4 stars is that they say their food is authentic. It might be authentic to Americans, but for someone that has been to Germany and looking for that type of authentic will just be disappointed. Keep an open mind and don't compare it to anywhere. Excellent atmosphere with great food and drinks at reasonable prices. The location is ideal for walking off those carbs. The staff are friendly and attentive, without being overly intrusive. Food was good. Service was lackluster at best. Party of 6 sat at the bar and we are not from around here. Guess we missed the demographic criteria. Multiple times tried to ask questions of the bartender and other staff members and were ignored. I understand we were not "regulars" but come on. I even made a point to ask one employee why when i asked her a question she replied " i didnt know you were talking to me" It was a Wednesday night wasnt that busy. Way to clarify. Kinda off putting. Wont go back. Additional stars for good food and decent prices.

Really good food and beer selection. Variety of sauces is nice. If you get a meal with a sauce, ask for it on the side - especially with something like the Bahn Mi otherwise your bun/roll will be soggy halfway between your meal.

Food was good but our server was super rude when he finally came up to our table 10 minutes after sitting down. He didn’t greet us, hardly came to check on us and we had to find him to get our check - which he just slapped on the table and walked away. First time here and most likely our last.

My wife and I are traveling throughout the United States in our motorhome and every opportunity to have lunch and beer at a German restaurant is seized. The Wurst beer hall, and that should be Halle in Fargo North Dakota, is the best I’ve had outside of Germany. The Dunkel Hefe Weitzen and wursts were superb. The prices are reasonable and the service was good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves authentic Deutsche cuisine.

Somewhat hard to find, but worth the effort. Jake, our server, was very helpful and attentive. Frequently checking back to make sure we were ok. Good suggestions about menu and drinks. I had the rabbit-rattlesnake brat with sweet potato fries. Brat was ok, sweet potato fries were the best I've had. Jake had good knowledge of brews available and I enjoyed 2 different locals. Only negative - the credit card wasn't working.

Craft beer selection is one of the best in Fargo. Their "wursts" come in a variety of meats from kielbasa to rabbit! Lots of local fresh meat is used as well from NDSU and local small ND towns. Okay, so it's pretty much always busy - but it's a great place with a nice atmosphere, great food, and good prices - why wouldn't it be busy? Usually you can find a place to squeeze in, get some soft pretzels, knoephla soup, or one of their haus cheeseburgers or enjoy a "boot" of beer. I've spent many date nights, down town bar hoppings, and friend gatherings at The Wurst and 98% of the time, it's a great experience. We love the music they play and those giant wood tables. Also, not a beer person? Go with the lambic!

Das Wurst, is Die Best! Great place for socializing and laughing... It all starts at the door, where a pretty lady is playing accordian outside the door, just inside is a lady asking for IDs, when ID is presented, a wristband is placed, to show servers who is not a minor. Lots of laughter, food choices are a culinary adventure! MANY BIER choices! Das Boot Bier competitions, NDSU Bison Games on big screen TVs. Food was great, with fast, friendly service.

So many reasons to go here: knoephla, perogies, wurst, beer, spaetzle, soft pretzels. I also enjoy the old music videos they play on most of the TVs. It's usually pretty crowded and sometimes the seating isn't great (you might have to share a table with other people since some of the tables are picnic table style). Parking can be hard to find too.

Get the sweet potato fries with marshmallow flush it is bomb. I got craziest sounding brat(rattlesnake) an still just basically tastes like any other brat . Good beer selection
