I've been getting food from this restaurant for several years. The food is consistent and good. Guests are never an interruption of their business, customers are their only. The stuffed shells and pizza are personal favorites. The staff is well trained and personable. Whether you are there during high volume or slow, you get the same food and service. I would highly recommend treating yourself and check them out. Great job!!

Burger King I ate a Burger King just 5 miles from this one yesterday, the two are on opposite polarities. This one very good, everything fresh hot and made to the exact requested manner. I can't not remember any bad things happened at this store. Great work guys.

This may be a hole-in-the-wall joint, but it is a place you'll want to visit for some good eats! This was recommended to me by a customer I was visiting in the area .. I actually drove right past it the first go round, but glad I found it when I turned around. Staff was so pleasant, with the "sweethearts" and the "sweeties", but you can tell they were sincere when they spoke to you. I ate a simple grilled chicken breast plate with rice and grilled veggies, and boy was it good. Perhaps not fancy nor with a fancy presentation, but who needs that when the dish is so delicious. A great portion - I'm full size at 6'4" / 240 - and this filled me up well. Price is absolutely fair. Quaint atmosphere if not plain, but again, the people and food are on point. Also has a salad bar that I rather enjoyed! Get Some!

Food is always good. Went online to view the menu, called the restaurant and ordered. When i got there the prices have changed. A little shocked at the difference from online prices to updated prices. Maybe a good idea to update online prices.

Jennifer was our server. Absolutely awesome!!! We both had salads off the buffet and strombolis. Salad bar was clean and everything was fresh. We got small strombolis. Jennifer told us they're made with their 10 inch pizza dough. We both had leftovers. They were seriously on point with flavor. Restaurant has the small town feel. Great visit!!!

Fabulous pizza, loved the chicken Alfredo broccoli pizza. Teeny tiny salad bar that is a sop to the guilty pleasure of eating the whole pie. But it's got meat, cheese, bread & 2 veg mom! I refuse to think about the desserts. Cheeeeeese cake, 😕. Really like the family atmosphere.

It has to be one of the very best places I have eaten, and I so appreciate having been turned on to an awesome eatery that prides itself with the awesome food they serve and each time I have left there it has been with a big smile on my face. I was kind of shocked that I live just a little over four miles away from South Congaree, and have been there often to shop at the Food Lion and to buy Gas, and had not noticed the House of Pizza until just a few weeks ago. My wife and I decided to stop in this afternoon and check it out. The food was great and the service was excellent. Julie was our waitress and was very nice and answered a lot of questions we had about the food, and the business. I got the Sausage Stromboli and my wife got the Veal Parmesan. She said the Veal was better than the Pizza Palace which is a place we visit a lot simply because she love Veal Parmesan. The only bad thing I can say about the trip there was that the servings were so big that we had to get TO GO boxes to bring the rest back home. We're definitely going to make regular visits back there. Planning to bring our Granddaughters there as well the next time they visit. They are Pasta Lovers and would definitely enjoy it.

Amazing restaurant good Ambience delicious food me and my papa went out for a Valentine's dinner I expected them to be completely packed but they were not and they had a booth open and as I was checking out saw a bunch of flowers on a rack and I thought they were selling them for customers for V-Day but they were gifts from customers and I had asked about the tulips how much they were for sale and I'm not sure if he was the owner of the manager but he was so sweet he said he got the two looks down from the shelf and he said Happy Valentine's Day Mam and he gave them to me it was so sweet and kind now that's gone up up and beyond for your customers if you ask me I recommend this restaurant anyone who loves fun laughter and amazing food oh not to mention they have the best selection of desserts this is in my top 3 list of restaurants that I like to visit for celebrations or good occasion

Pretty excellent place to stumble upon. They have a full selection of menu items all at reasonable prices. Service is amazing every time we go. I highly recommend the chicken parmesan, the Hawaiian pizza, as well as any of their various steak sub configurations. The salad bar is compact but chocked full of good stuff. And his desserts are legendary, coconut cake, cannolis, YUM!!!

The best pizza anywhere around the midlands! This place is amazing. It may seem like a small town place but this place is big on taste and quality. The pizza is not the only amazing item either; their pastas, salads, and Greek food is outstanding! We order at least once a week since moving to this side of town. Sweet tooth’s beware, if you go in you will see a wonderful display full of desserts that are just as delicious as they look!!!! Also order the corn nuggets as an appetizer. You will not be disappointed!

Never ate there before, went in for lunch. It was pretty busy. Got the gyro platter and felt like it. Large dallop of tsaziki sauce was nice to. All portions I saw were generous as well. Looking forward to trying the Greek pizza next time.

What a great place!!! Always busy and so friendly. Busy= good in my book. Why? Because wants to eat at a place that NOBODY wants to eat at. House of Pizza (HOP) IS NOT THAT PLACE. It's evident that everyone wants to eat at House of Pizza. Why? Because they're always busy and once you get in the door they are so very friendly. Watch this! And they have great food. Update: not a good experience this time- there was a hair in my Greek potatoes and the salad was sticking out the togo container and then pressed up against the side of a cardboard box. Not sure I'll be back. Love the Greek spaghetti with chicken, Greek potatoes, and tzatziki. Delicious food, great people!

This place is a hidden gem. It's in South Congaree which puts it off the beaten path for many, but it's well worth the ride if you like freshly prepared meals, generous portions, friendly service and a relaxed buzz about the place. My fave has got to be the baked spaghetti, I rarely finish the whole meal. A wide variety of items on the menu, so I'm never afraid to take friends. And the desserts will make you want second helpings!

I have the large stromboli and it's more than I can eat at one time. My only issue is the side salad is $3.95 and it's only a small bowl. I wish they would put a plate up there. Also I don't like putting my banana pepper juice in with my dressing.

Love this restaurant beef tips are awesome. It super clean and good comes out fast even on busy nights. Take out is my go to when i don't feel like cooking. And the buy a large pizza get a free small pizza is a deal yiu can't beat. They call this the family restaurant for a reason. Yiu can feelbit when you walk in the door its like the stress goes away. Great place for any family dinner or date night or even a nice meal solo.

The overall experience here was average at best. Visited on a Friday night around 9pm, and it was relatively slow. Ordered the friend pickles and a steak stromboli. The pickles came out really quick, but were nothing to brag about. The batter was thick considering the size of the pickles, and were slightly bland if not for the ranch dressing. The steak stromboli came next and was average as well. The steak and cheese were the highlights. I ordered it with no green peppers, but got them anyways. The food tasted fresh, but I was turned off when I saw how much grease was at the bottom of the plate. The bread was soggy due to the grease, but other than that it wasn't terrible. The atmosphere is always good and staff is friendly, but I'm just not impressed anymore.

My experience there was good except for the waitress being a bit slow and getting drinks to us and also the Alfredo was terrible we sent it back and just settled 4 side items. After biting into that Alfredo and I take them like water down milk on that no flavor I don't have a taste for anything else.

Great service, food great. My wife and I ordered pizza, greek salad and eggplant parmesan no complaints we got a free small pizza with our order when we got home and looked at the pizza it was burnt very very disappointing maybe next time they will check pizza to make sure it's okay. We will still come back for the restaurant food and service for it's very close to NY style Greek Italian cuisine....Eggplant Parmesan was close to my wife's , she is Italian and one hell of a true Italian cook this is as good a compliment as you are going to get so enjoy...

Probably my favorite restaurant. Friendly staff, food is always delicious and plentiful. Menu has something for everyone and every mood. Much more than just a pizza joint. Only draw back is their prices have gone up. Favorite dish is the marinated beef tips over rice pilaf....sooo good! Locations in South congarree, Pontiac, lugoff, and Elgin. Stay far away from Nick's house of pizza in west Columbia....NOT the same... nowhere near it!

The menu at this restaurant was quite extensive. The portions are large and the prices were good. The food was good as well. It's not the fanciest place I have ever been to nor is it a dump. It could use a little remodeling, but overall it has a nice atmosphere. Great for the family or for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. The staff was very attentive so that definitely brightened the atmosphere. I look forward to going back and trying some of their Greek dishes!

First time there. Went for lunch. Friendly staff, they were attentive. They have lunch specials on the board, lots of options which I personally love. The specials all came with a trip to the salad bar. I had the Philly cheese steak lunch special and it came with fries ( which were not over salted, yay! I prefer to salt my own, you can always add, but you can't take off!). Sub was nice and hot and cheesy with a good amount of meat. Salad bar was your typical salad bar but it was tasty and had a few different kinds of pasta salad and lots of dressing options. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely go back.

Usually get the Lunch Special which includes a free trip to the salad bar. This along with the food is perfectly filling for the extremely reasonable price. This is a great local family restaurant. The owners are very friendly and kind, and the food is good. They also have a great selection of homemade desserts....cakes, cheesecakes, pies, etc. They take to go orders as well so you can stop in and grab dinner for your family when you don't feel like cooking.

When I am in town for work I ALWAYS make sure I stop in for lunch! It is SOOOOO good. I don't normally write reviews but I felt that I owed this place a good review for their hard work. The staff and owner is always so nice and the food is always great. Please do yourself a favor and eat here. It is not just pizza, they have almost everything you can imagine on the menu.

My beautiful girlfriend and I sat down for a quick bite to eat deciding to share a single spaghetti... The waitress staff accommodated us better than I ever had expected. The spaghetti plate was served to us on a large hot plate and seem to be more than a typical order might would be we had leftovers after we split the meal and I must say it was Top Notch!!! The owners and employees treat you like family and let you know they missed you if you havent been there in a while. The food is the best around, even if you go to the more populated areas with more eating places. They serve something for everyone from pizzas, subs, full course meals, appetizers, a wonderful salad bar, and desserts. The portion sizes are usually bjg enough that I can take home the left overs and have a meal the next day too. Give them a try, I bet you will be very pleased.

So this restaurant is one of a few in this area. (Excluding fast-food) With that said it is good home-style italian/greek food and always consistent. The portions are typically larger than most people can eat. Also, this place is always crowded which is a welcoming sign for any restaurant. So be prepared to possibly wait a few minutes.

This is an excellent place for lunch or dinner. They have reasonable lunch specials and good service. The only mark against it is the interior is getting old and a bit run down. The carpet is pretty gross and needs to be replaced. The tables and chairs are also wobbly and in need of replacement.

The hot subs are good. The fries need to be cooked longer, they are not crispy; if you ask to have them "extra crispy" they can be used as fine substitutes for nails. For some reason this place thinks a very tiny salad bar is worth $8.95. For $3.50 you get one trip to the salad bar with a microsized bowl.
