Reviews of Wyoming's Rib & Chop House, Cheyenne
JR Thomas
I was greated in a very welcoming manner which was a great start. Our server was very helpful and on top of it with all our needs. I had the full rack of ribs which melted in my mouth with a savory sauce that was to die for. The loaded mashed were also excellent and very loaded and moist. My companion got the mini burgers which were a hair dry but understandable considering such a small patty. I'd definitely love to come back and try a steak.

Stopped in here for dinner while visiting downtown Cheyenne and ordered pork chop. Absolutely outstanding and one of the best chops I ever had!
Servers were very friendly and attentive as well. Great selection of beer on tap and good TV coverage as well.
Great steak house and can't recommend enough!

We have been to this restaurant in both Gillette and Casper and loved it. The one in Cheyenne didn’t disappoint either. It was nicely decorated for Christmas with a beautiful ambiance. The food was amazing as usual and the satin pie is one of our faves. I just wish they would bring back the crab crusted chicken. That was a definite favorite of mine. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

My family and i enjoyed our meals. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The salad was great. I even applied for the $50 a month membership for 10% off meals, $50 certificate, getting a reservation priority access and free birthday entree.
Melody Hall
Surprised by the only moderate service. Had heard raving reviews, but not what we received. Seated fairly quickly, but waited at least 10 minutes before our drink order was taken.
The food was good, but after the soup and salad, we waited over another half hour for our steaks, and they weren't done so had to go back for further cooking.
That said, the manager was all over it, took care of us and made it right ✅. She said the steaks were on the her and our bill was only for our drinks!
They have good food and their BBQ sauces are made in-house every day. Their Garlic Sriracha BBQ sauce is BY FAR THE ABSOLUTE BEST I've ever tasted! I bought some to take home!!
I'll have to revisit to see if it truly was just a fluke evening.
James
The salad is trash. Had brown lettuce and had already ate too much before I caught it. Needless to say the remainder of the evening wasn’t pleasant.
As for the steak - it was great the first time we stopped. Hot, tender and boiling in butter on arrival. The second time it was tough and just at a normal temperature.
One of the other people at our table got the cedar salmon. It was great and the presentation is fire. Literally it comes to the table flaming.
The garlic mashed potatoes were more bland than the box ones from IGA. Baked beans were mediocre.
Their meat chef seems decent, but they need someone to redo almost all of their sides.
Also avoid the spinach dip - it was cold in the center and flavorless somehow as well.

Listen… If you’re not eating here every weekend- well, I can’t help you.
The service was excellent (thank you dearly Patrick). The food recommendations, presentation and most importantly taste was phenomenal.
The portions are proportionate with the price. More money doesn’t equal more volume people… It’s all about the flavor and the experience. This is a fine dinning establishment not a buffet.
This is a laid back atmosphere, so dressing casual is fine. It’s a sports bar vibe meets casual restaurant with excellent food and wine. TV screens at the bar area with a appropriate level of music with blinds dictating the light interference.
I enjoyed the experience, the town and the people. Bring a friend if possible. Rib & Chop House gets my positive vote as well as the people of Cheyenne.
We’ll done folks, keep up the good work. Will be back.
Café Blanco
Phenomenal place!! I had the New York steak with loaded baked potato fully loaded! Steak was cooked to perfection!! The chicken fried chicken is out of this world!! Amazing customer service. Definitely be back next time I’m in Cheyenne 👍🏻

Passing through for the night on our way back to NC. This place was open until 10 so that was convenient. Had good reviews. Nice area and nice inside. Server was great. Food was really good. I got the cheeseburger sliders which was the perfect amount of food, bf got the ribs & they were delicious. I had some. Fall off the bone style. Great place to eat!

It was amazing! I took myself for my birthday as a gift to myself. I was very happy and satisfied with everything.
I had the baseball cut top sirloin with broccoli and house salad. The steak was cooked to perfection. Medium rare just how I like it.
Thank you to the bar staff, Matt, Ben and "Penelope Garcia" for an amazing birthday experience.
Kyle Hanks
It was my Birthday and I want to eat a good meal. I am from Louisiana and many people suggest this restaurant.
I was impressed, this restaurant’s full bar had some talented mixologist. The Moscow mule cocktails were refreshing.
The appetizers are divine. Frist the boudin balls reminds me of home. Then the fried shrimp put a smile on my face, A+. But nothing topped the stuffed mushroom YUMMY!
To the chefs here I wanted to say thank you. Two of three of our entrées were exquisite. There are always pros and cons to any restaurant. The filet mignon was tender, Chicken Fried Chicken was juicy, carrot souffle was perfect and large load potato was very delicious. The side salads with the house made blue cheese was on point.
Now to the Grill/Rib chef. I was disappointing on how dry and inedible my full rack of ribs were. The sauce that saturated to top was tasty. I should have mentioned to the waiter to take it back and trash those burnt ribs. It was too bad because I normally really love ribs.
The dessert chef what a grand job! I loved the souffle it was simple and perfect dish. The top crust was heavenly.

I was let down with my visit to this famous restaurant. I ordered the New York strip, medium, with carrot soufflé and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak came out medium well to well. I have had better steak for half the price and I expected more for it being a $40, 15 oz. steak. The carrots and potatoes were good but smaller portions. I sat at the bar and the service was good.

The Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings were fantastic, and the Western Burger was by far the biggest and best burger I've had in Cheyenne and was only a couple dollars more expensive than other local spots. Mac and Cheese side was very good as well. Will definitely eat here again!
Ingrid G
We ordered the Fulton Street Ribs and the Cedar Plank Salmon. The food and service was great. Our sever Alex was super nice and even recommended the dessert the pecan meltaway which was actually amazing.
Theresa Hoban
This is the go-to rib and steak restaurant recommended by hotels and locals. We see why it is so popular. Its upscale dining but feel free to come in wearing your jeans and western wear. Great food and service. The watermelon martini was WOW and the meals excellent. I had Cedar Plank Salmon and it was cooked to perfection and my husband’s burger was great. Our server Adrien B was super attentive and nice. The portions were generous and presentation perfect. We highly recommend this Cheyanne experience.

My wife and I did a day trip from Fort Collins to Cheyenne and the Rib and Chop was suggested by another business in town that we stopped at so we tried it. Outstanding! When we walked in and approached the hostess station we were asked if we had reservations. Reservations? In Cheyenne? Really? It was 11:30 but all of a sudden the place filled up. Apparently we chose the right restaurant for lunch. What was really surprising was the large number of business persons in suits and business attire, as well as locals and visitors in jeans. Service was excellent. It was our server's first day on the job and it was clear that he was well-trained. Exceptionally attentive even though the place was filling up quickly. This Rib & Chop has an affiliation with a local microbrewery called Accomplice Beer Company just a few blocks away. Rib & Chop carries their line. I had a bold dark ale called Krimson King. Very satisfying and tasty. For lunch we both had the smoked beef sandwich served with au jus, sauteed onions and mushroom, horse radish sauce melted provolone on a toasted sub roll, and fries or sweet potato fries. We had each. The food was spot-on. I tried two of their house-made hot sauces - the garlic chipotle and the "hot". Each was outstanding with bold unique flavors with hints of smoke and cinnamon, and not overly hot. We'll go back next time we're in town and we suggest that you give the Rib & Chop a try.
Rhonda Schmaltz
My husband and I stopped in for a light, late evening supper. We both had the Chop House salad with a Sirloin steak. DELICIOUS! EXCELLENT SERVICE AND A DELIGHTFUL APPLE COBBLER.
Lucas Long
Looking for a perfect steak or some great ribs or seafood? Then check this place out. The Filet was perfectly cooked and super tender!
Dan 747
Great food n serviceee awesome, visiting from Florida n let me tell you meat was perfect, i had filet mignon and house salad, bskedy potato loaded.
Andrew Ford
My partner and I went here for our anniversary dinner. I cannot express enough how absolutely sublime my NY Strip was, and the appetizer and cocktails were done most excellent as well. Above and beyond service from the host to wait staff, and to top it all off, we even got a card signed by the staff!
Pamela Olesen
I guess I was maybe expecting more based on local feedback and price. I had a filled and have to say it had several bites of grissel...not a fan.
Atmosphere was nice. Service was lacking a bit. Just feel like I walked away with an "eh" feeling.
Super Football 2000
Excellent restaurant that prepares the absolute best steak you can get, just let the picture speak for itself. Service was great as well.
Sarah Carter
Reservations for 6 at 7pm. Cote de boeuf was fabulous as was dessert. Only managed to get pics of dessert. Wonderful service & meal
Cyrus Thompson
Neet little place down town they have a bar and a family dinning area. Staff where nice, food was above average. I would definitely do a date night here. Abit pricey but it's a classy.
Buddy Tennant
It was my first time so I went in a 100% open mind to both having a good or bad experience & it was fairly good for the most part. My Waiter had been on vacation and it was his first day back to work so getting simple items like my coffee cream took a couple of times and I never did get my sour cream for my potato! ☹️☹️ overall it's a great place for a special occasion type meal!
Jason E
This is why you go out to eat. I ate at the bar and the service the bartenders gave us was excellent. Very professional and courteous. Prices were a little high but worth the splurge. Food came out delicious with pretty good portions. For a healthy meal, I recommend the charbroiled chicken with spinach. The ribs are very good too. Worth every penny spent just for the service.
Jen I
We made a reservation and were seated a few minutes early. The waiter was very knowledgable about the menu and friendly as well. He recommended the filet and it was delish! My husband added shrimp and I added bleu cheese, both fantastic! Tables are far enough apart to give privacy and overall good place to eat.
Rod
The staff was great and the drink menu was okay! The sirloin was good, ribs were dry, and the fish was oily. We waited a bit over an hour to our food. Unfortunately, Texas Roadhouse would have been much better for both experience and price.
C&C TRIPPERS GARMUN
Excelente food the ribs are excellent!dinning here now than good! Hardly recommended they are not joking about the ribs ,they are awesome and delicious service excellent and place very clean 👍😉 …
David Munaretto
11 out of 10. Blows the doors off Ruth's Chris and other top notch steak houses. Excellent service. Great atmosphere. The music playing on the background sets the tone for a family, casual atmosphere but the food is sophisticated and absolutely divine.
Sanjeev Pathak
I try to visit the higher end steak restaurants when I travel. I was there just for one night and found what I saw based on the best reviews. It was a Monday night so wasn't busy and sat the bar and got served quickly. For the price this is comparable steak wise to more expensive steak houses. The food was served quickly and was perfectly cooked. A good steak needs nothing and I did not need to add anything. Bartenders were busy but always checked on me and all the other customers. On recommendation from the bartender (who loves to cook as a hobby) had the creme brule. It was really good.
jenny willey
This is a cool steakhouse and the food was delicious, but the service was very slow between appetizer and meal. We waited approximately 45 minutes or longer in between the two...during a slow lunchtime. We would definitely give it another shot though if we come back to visit due to the food being so good!
Trace B
Awesome spot! We’re not local to the area but a friend recommended this place and it was really worth it. Food was delicious and steaks were cooked to perfection. Definitely worth trying the fried green tomatoes too!
Teresa Goodroad
Our waitress was knowledgeable with menu. The salad was amazing as well as the side table sizzlin cast iron. Honestly, no real complaints. Loved it and would absolutely come back.... looking forward to it!
Luke Davidson
Stopped in for some dinner, we had exceptional service and phenomenal food. Will definitely return!
Nicholas Spitzer
I'm a blue collar nobody 😁, been to a lot of places. Came up to Cheyenne on a lark just for adventure from Centennial, CO, had dinner here. Was sitting at the bar, James took care of me, solid red wine recommendation. I got the 9oz Fillet with blue cheese crumbles, cooked black and blue, unbelievably perfect cooked steak. No idea who was working the kitchen but they nailed it, hands down. I'd make the 2hr drive back just for the steak. Dessert was pretty god damn good too.
NR
Dinner was absolutely amazing! Courtney was our server and she as awesome! She was on top of everything! The food was delicious, our server was super nice, and I totally recommend them! ☺️
Preston Chew
Came all the way from Socal just to have one of the best steaks I have ever had! Ron was very attentive and any questions we had were answered! The food just melted in your mouth! Definitely recommend to any and everyone!
Mike Dunne
Excellent food with even better service. We had a large group and the staff was exceptional at taking care of everyone. The food was excellent quality, perfectly prepared. We had an amazing experience all the way around!!
Jason Brown
Prices are a little higher than what is portrayed online, but it's worth the price.
Full meal (app, steak, desert) with a couple of beers will run you about $75 before tip during dinner service.
Go to the bar and hang out with James, his service is 5 star.
geralyn hoerauf
Sat at the bar on a Weds night. The place was hoppin! Attentive, friendly service from the bar tenders. Very accommodating with changing TV channels. We both had salads and they were excellent. Good choice of wines and local beers. Highly recommend if you are passing thru Cheyenne, as we were.
Rachelle Rodriguez
Awesome place to dine in very happy with our waiter. 🙂 Food was yummy, Thank you!

Hubby and I enjoy traveling to eat. We were in Denver and went to Cheyenne. We stopped in the Rib & Chop House on Lincolnway. First I am a stickler for cleanliness. The bar (to include bar bottles) and restroom were very clean. The food was good...but the ribeye was amazing!! Ample amount of food. What confirmed this as a 5 star was the service received by Arianna. She was knowledgeable, prompt, pleasant and polite. I have an eye for management and she needs to be on the team. Hubby also enjoyed the assortment of local beers.
Jessica Taken
I had a great experience here. I ordered a Pina Colada which was not on the menu, and it was great.
adnerb ydarb
I cannot rave about this place enough! Wow!!! Amazing amazing amazing. Perfect in every sense. Salmon came out flaming on a piece of wood, apple wood perhaps not positive... all I know is it was amazing. Steak came out perfectly cooked. From beginning to end, simply wonderful. Will be going back. Server Jette was attentive and helpful. Thank you!
Regina Clark
Their staff is very accommodating and helpful with a sense of humor. Everyone had a different dish. All the food was good and the right temperature. Service was great!
Karen Mcfall
The entree portions were a good value and prepared well. I was disappointed in the short pour on wine. The dessert was good but expensive. If you have a special occasion, they give you a dessert. We didn't know.
Ed Brown
Really good steaks, service, and ambiance. Chili was good, gumbo is ok. I've had gumbo in New Orleans so it's hard to compete with that. Prices are a little on high side, but again, the steaks are really good.
Peggy Black
It was recommended by hotel. I can only say it was ok. Waiter was good but food just ok. I expected better reading reviews and for the price. Steak was hard to cut through with a warm Seasoning as well as the fries.
Sarah Hartman
Delicious food, good service, and a reasonably priced meal. The pulled pork and garlic mashed potatoes tasted great and were served hot. The service was friendly and checked in often.
J L
Great food and drinks! Every plate was cleaned around the table.
The filet is an exceptional choice and the drinks from Accomplice Beer Company are great. There is a perfect pairing for any meal here. I will be returning to try more.
Rob Mangone
The service was great! The food was great! We definitely recommend eating here and will stop again on our next trip through Cheyenne!
The ribs were fantastic and the soup of the day (potato soup, loaded) was delicious. We added sweet potato fries (2 orders) and there was plenty of food for three of us!
Definitely stop in!
Natalie Martinez
My parents and I had such an amazing time at the Cheyenne Rib N Chop. Our server Mark was fantastic and made sure we had everything we need/everything was tasting well. Another employee, Dan, came and put on a magic show for my parents and I at our table while we waited for our food. Our experience couldn’t have been better!
Michael Paisis (PofC)
Great place for steak and everything in between! Very friendly staff and very clean. Cozy atmosphere and we had a great time. I don't usually like franchises....very few are good and this one is very good.
Walter Kyle
Passing through Cheyenne on way home. Had salmon, carrot soufflet and gumbo. All were spectacular. Wife had fish and chips, great. Great local restaurant with great service.
Micah Cantley
So good!! Excellent steak, perfectly prepared- we made the right choice!
Phillip Moyte
Drink was skimpiest martini of my life. Food came out oxidized.
Dustin Milbrath
Service was perfect! People were friendly and took care of me very well.
I got the Famous Filet and it lived up to all my hopes and dreams. Came out sizzling, properly seasoned and cooked perfectly medium rare!
Gumbo was pretty good too.
Justin Dancear
Everything on the menu taste good! I had one of the best steaks I ever had at this place! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cheyenne.
Nick
Great local restaurant and the food is exceptional. However, the service is extremely hit or miss. Almost every time I go here there is some kind of issue.
Searchorb
The food was good I don't know if it was great. I definitely think it was consistently made I'm not sure that I don't care for some of the flavoring. sort one of those personal choice things I think most people would probably like it a lot more than I did. Near barbecue sauce is good but it has a pretty heavy mustard taste to it in my opinion which was good but not what I want in a barbecue sauce. And I ordered the barbecue shrimp and it came dunked in some butter sauce and on top of what I think was mashed potatoes. I always assume barbecued shrimp will come out grilled guess that was my mistake. Service is great really nice people great atmosphere I wouldn't hesitate to recommend going there.
Dustin Klein
Overall a very average experience. We had ribs and steak salad. All the meat was on the chewy side. Ordered apple cobbler for dessert and it was apple soup. The flavors were good, but not great, honestly very comparable to chain steakhouses like Outback or similar. The prices were a little higher than an average steakhouse and definitely too high for the quality. Our waiter Seth was great, no complaints about the service. Might be the best steakhouse in Cheyenne, but ultimately, this is an average and somewhat over priced restaurant.
Bob Becker
We ordered the ribeye for two. It was one of the finest steaks we've had in a long time. Prepared as ordered. Absolutely perfect.
Cory Galaz
A great place to have a date, and it's extremely affordable. Don't skip the chicken fried chicken or the creme brulee!
Dan the magic guy was a nice surprise during our last visit.
Jay Watson
Truly excellent experience. My wife and I drove an hour and a half to eat here we weren't disappointed. The customer service was as good as the ribeye. We also loved the jalapeno beer cheese soup. Great good, great service and definitely worth the drive! You will not be disappointed.
mindy williams
The ribs amd the sirloin steak were amazing. The steak was actually the best I've ever had. The employees were so kind and friendly. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I ordered the cheesecake. It was ok but not great. The first bite was actually hot like it just came out of the oven. Next bite warm. But the middle of it was still frozen! Not happy paying that much for a piece of frozen cheesecake.
Ambika Lachhu
Great atmosphere! Great food! Great service! Family friendly. My 2 year old was dancing to the music and enjoyed her meal that was served in a cool car. Love the attention to details at this place.
David Bessey
First time here on a Tuesday night at 8 pm. The bar was a little crowded however it was open seating. I actually sat at a table that people had just left from so I think the staff might have gotten confused while I was there as nobody waited on me for about 10 minutes. Once they realize that I was new they were very attentive moving forward.
The food was tasty and cooked to expectations. Would try again and would definitely recommend
Jimmy Allen
One of the best burgers I have ever had unfortunately I tried bite of the chicken fried steak which was not tenderized enough and biscuit was dry. I think if you stick to steaks and burger and with nice atmosphere can be 5 star.
Biskutzz M
Service and hospitality is great. Food is decent. Can get same or better in cheyenne for the same or better prices though. May or may not be back.
DeShawna Scott
When we choose this restaurant we didn't realize it was a small chain. We were NOT disappointed! We ordered the handcut ribeye med rare, asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was probably the best I've ever had and I have steak at least a couple of times a week. It was perfectly seasoned and drenched in butter. It's served on a 500° plate. Our server Alex was 5 stars!
Joseph Rineer
I've been to 3 Rib ans Chop Houses in Wyoming and they are all 5 stars. Cheyenne is no exception. Our server was friendly and very accommodating to our large party with kids. She was very knowledgeable on beer and wine choices. The food is 2nd to none. Ribeye, filet, and ribs were all perfect.
Karen Maes
Best steak ever! Bacon wrapped filet topped with crab... UNBELIEVABLE! Drove up from Denver just to get a dine-in experience since Colorado restaurants are closed. Be aware of the additional charges, but so worth it!
Trey White
This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The steaks are particularly excellent, and the bar staff is attentive and professional. I recently dined here after a four-year absence, and the service and food are still as excellent as they ever were. This is one of Cheyenne's best establishments! Make sure to visit if you find yourself in town.
John Burton
I've eaten here a few times, never had bad food or bad service. Stopped in for dinner while on a trip to Cheyenne and had a great dinner.
Nick Dodgson
Decent restaurant in a beautiful building, the bar area is great, the restaurant area not so much, feels kind of dirty and not looked after. Food is usually good and service is average. Sit in the bar and avoid the dining area
Matthew Jones
Our toddler was VERY fully of energy; the staff were amazing with him. Not just our server, but everyone that walked past the table.
Food was delicious, as one would expect, but the service was second to none, especially for a young family dining out, worried our toddler may be too much for a fine restaurant.
Yiyang Li
This restaurant has the best steak I have ever had!! Very delicious and our waitress was so nice. Definitely worth to try it out!!
Kyle Berti
They service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious. Out group ordered the ribs and the green fried tomato burger. There ribs were fall off the bone but not too loose. The burger was cooked just right and the person who ordered said it was one of the best burgers they ever had. They also had a good selection of local beers.
M. Eldridge
ate there one time as we where passing through Cheyenne & chose by the Google rating. Its a nice pace & has a bar area as well. We ate in the dinning area & got seated & served quickly. The food was good but we thought the prices was more than expected for the $$ or $$$ shown on reviews. One steak was $75. I don't mind paying a lot for food if I get wowed but this place left us feeling like we didn't get our moneys worth.
C J
Good lord, I ordered a double cheeseburger here with a side of mashe potatoes. I asked for this burger to be medium, I have regrets. Should I have asked for medium rare? The taste was fantastic. Right off a hint of charcoal or wood grill, slightly charred on the bottom. Overall it was good.
Beer selection is good. They have a mix of all. Lagers, IPA, Pilsner, etc.
Spirits are also very good. They have a full bar with 20 or so different martinis on the menu. Its a great place for lunch or dinner if youre local or passing through.
Matthew Royal
Ordered the 30-day dry aged rib eye for $70+, but it was so salty I was unable to perceive the aged flavor. Texture was not tender. I'm sad to say you'll have a better steak at Texas Roadhouse at 1/3 of the cost.
Garlic mushrooms were excellent, soup was good, other sides did not disappoint, and the service was very attentive.
The atmosphere is lively without being deafening, like other steak places around town. Very enjoyable experience overall.
USA is a Constitutional Federal Republic
Good, not great - at least for the prices. Service was so-so. Our waiter spent most of his time talking to other, probably local, patrons.
Our meals came out separately. My sandwich was warm at best. The salad came out last. How did the salad get made last?
Darryl Carsno
Highly recommended for Lunch or Dinner. Outstanding service, outstanding food, great atmosphere. Treat yourself.
Anjalyna Pierre
Surprised this place isn't in every state! Everything is A M A Z I N G! Steak is probably the best I've ever had along with their delicious sides (carrot souffle was my favorite). The bar is also stocked with any type of alcohol you could ever desire. The lemon merengue cocktail was my favorite from the menu- especially since they were generous with the whipped cream on top. If you haven't tried this place you're missing out!
Ryan Cruz
I'm not really sure where to start. This place came highly recommended from some locals, and once seated. Menu, staff, and environment were all pretty impressive. After eyeing the menu, the Filet was stated to be their best, most flavorful and tender steak on the menu, so I ordered it. The waiter told me about add ons to the steak like onions, mushrooms, bacon, etc, but I opted to try it as simple as possible. I was greatly disappointed. I received a hunk of flavorless meat. Was definitely not tender or full of flavor. I added bbq sauce on the table to help it out a bit. That was the best part of the meal.
My grandpa always said if you have to add sauce to a steak, it's not a steak. I'll give them another shot in the future but I'm in no rush to go back.
Rock star James
Food was great place was clean staff was friendly but this place is kinda pricey don't go here if you're on a budget
Chris Brewer
We came here for a late night dinner while in Cheyenne for work. It is one of the few places in town other than fast food serving dinner after 9 PM. There is plenty of parking and there is both a bar and formal dining room. Attire is casual. The menu has a good selection of entrees that will please almost everyone. As the name implies, ribs and steak are specialties with some New Orleans/Cajun style items on the menu as well. I had the Chicken fried chicken and it was a generous portion of very good chicken with a house breading and gravy that hit the spot. There is a good beer and cocktail selection also. Overall a great place to go for dinner of you're out and about in Cheyenne. The building is accessible for mobility impaired patrons but the bar has mostly high top tables making it a bit more of a challenge to find a good spot there. The atmosphere is quiet in the main dining room and a bit louder with sports on several screens in the bar.
Lisa Halverson
Excellent food and excellent service! We ate here during an overnight stay while passing through the area. Our server Amanda N. was amazingly friendly and attentive. I had the Filet and my husband had the Ribeye. We both agreed that it was the best beef we’ve ever had. I wish we lived near Cheyenne, we’d visit regularly!
NurseNat 22
Honestly, the ribs were very dry and did NOT fall off the bone. That's unfortunate since it's a rib restaurant 😕
The appetizers we tried were great. The service was great. Location is great.
There were too many flies inside so this also deducted from our experience.
Won't rush back but may give it another try when in the area.
Abigail Padfield Narayan
This place was great. The staff was really friendly and the waitress didn't question out Desiree to have dessert first. The pulled pork sandwich was on of the best I've had. The Arnold Palmer was divided and I got to mix it up. The creme brulee wasn't the best I had but it was still good.
Dorthy McCarter
Hubby had the Cote de Boeuf and said it was the best steak in 6 states! I had the ribs any they were fall-off-the-bone tender and flavorful.
Jason mittlieder
Took my friend for a steak. I ordered the $80 ribeye, just had to see what an $80 steak looked liked! I was surprised and impressed by my meal. I never thought it was gonna, but that steak is worth every penny of $80.
Gvantsa Chain
Great food. Great cocktail selections and great service in Cheyenne!

Kept it simple and ordered a Western burger. It was delicious! Pretty busy so we sat at the bar and got exceptional service. Just passing through but but would return.
Myles Davis
You can tell on a normal day this place is awesome. My experience wasnt so great. It took over an hour to get my food when it arrived my plate was 1000 degrees but my steak was cold. The staff are really friendly but it wasn't a great first experience.
George Solis
We sat at the bar, Chloe was great and insightful. I will be returning for their filet soon.
Sarah Silvis
I had a dirty martini, wedge salad, Cedar plank salmon, baked potato and Pinot noir. The food was terrific as always! Thank you Mark for the wonderful service 😀 my husband and I had a nice time Friday night. We'll be back soon for more delicious food and fun!
Keith Barnes
Really nice atmosphere. Fast seating and service. Food was fantastic! Great place to stop.
Glenda Hinojosa
They went above and beyond. We had went there for my Birthday and they brought me a card signed by everyone 🥰
Kevin Dee
Tried the bison ribeye, a lot of fat but good flavor. Carrot souffle was excellent. Brownie ice cream sandwich was superb. Wait staff was fun and friendly. Long wait due to super busy Friday night.
Michelle Schlotter
Very busy night at Rib and chops. Our waitress and servers were still very polite and made us feel welcomed and never rushed our food was great. Thank goodness we decided to split our salad. It was huge.
Justin Buckmaster
Select menu items are excellent here (and cooked properly) especially the ribs, and ribeye. The salmon is good, and pub burgers and sandwiches, etc are on par with what you expect from more affordably priced menu items. Service is probably 4 stars, but food/ menu options/quality/atmosphere is closer to 5 stars (for what's available in this town/state). I typically don't go for chain restaurants, but am grateful this one exists in Wyoming and eat at multiple locations of theirs throughout the state.

Great dinner at the Chop House! Good food, great choices, great service! We took leftovers home and were too full for dessert.
Melissa Stinson
Rustic restaurant in downtown Cheyenne. Steaks were prepared to perfection. Try the creme Brule, you'll love it.
martin velasquez
I was very skeptical about thier best steakhouse in Montana and Wyoming claim.. and set a new standard for steak, the buffalo ribeye is hands down one of the best steaks ive ever had.. if you're on the fence about it stop thinking and jump in youll thank yourself. Plus the prices are VERY reasonable
Theopolis Pennington
Out of towner, hungry after a long journey. Ordered food to my hotel. The food was okay. Mushrooms were a hit, burger was good. Unfortunately for me there was this hair and head sample that came with my jambalaya (or gumbo? Whatever you guys call it here). The apple cobbler though, good stuff.
Jason Schultz
This is why they get a 5 star rating, and they backed it up with their actions. Fantastic! I will definitely be returning when I stop through here. The food and service was practically unbeatable.
Tami Mason
Cedar plank salmon was delicious! Perfectly cooked. Staff was wonderful!
. K
Meh, food was good but way overpriced and it's one of those places that really pressures you to upgrade everything to get more money. $18 cheeseburger? $1.50 more to add tiny jalapeno slices??? I could get an entire bag of jalapenos for that much. No matter what you order they push more "additions" on it and seem disappointed when you turn them all down.
Other than that the food was good and servers were friendly. Won't go back though.
justin blow
I always hit this spot when I’m in town, often several times. Steak could use some more seasoning but everything is always really good.
Jireh 7 Roofing
Steak was great, and everything was good we will be back to try other food items on their menu.
Jason Hagen
Outstanding food and service. I had heard great things about this resyand they did not disappoint! If in Cheyenne, this is a great place to stop
Johnny Nguyen
Foods are delicious. But run out of bison steak. Service are very nice
Dave Clausen
I used to really enjoy eating here, but unfortunately the food quality has really gone down hill.
Sarah Hurley
Really good food and excellent service. Two of us ordered ribs and one a loaded baked potato. Ribs were so yummy even without added sauce. Baked potato was huge, the chicken on it was tender, and the toppings plentiful. Loved sitting by the fireplace. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the lettuce in the salad was not fresh, and even had some brown edges... I'm super picky that my salad be fresh... they readily offered a different side, and I had the carrot souffle which was unique - fixed like sweet potatoes, but with that carrot-y taste. Very good and I was satisfied. Still, I believe a restaurant of that caliber should have fresh lettuce...
Christine Fish
The fried green tomatoes were amazing! The steak cut like butter, the flavor was amazing... and the Jamaican Glazed Salmon steak was undeniable the best we have ever had... Ever!
James Kingsbury
Great restaurant and sports bar. Very good menu, great ribs and steaks. Other items also very good. Very friendly and effective service. Many TVs with current sports on. Highly recommended.
Stand by this good review however during our last visit this past week we saw this interesting silver dispenser on the table (see pic). I tasted a small amount and it tasted terrible. I asked the waitress what it was. She said hand sanitizer!!! A thoughtful restaurant probably won't put sanitizer unlabeled with food items! Hand sanitizer most likely never killed covid and their attempt for safety was actually more unsafe!
DustynJ Bradshaw
Get good place, nice clean, friendly, and consistent. They had our crew of 11 spoiled. We never waited long before someone was checking in on us. We stayed long and had a good time, never pressured to finish, and earned that tip. It was something the waiter seemed to enjoy, very informative, and just great with everyone. It wasn’t like he was doing it because he had to, but enjoyed taking care of the party. The host was also very informative, patient, and proud to be there.
Joe Krause
Their fried green tomatoes are some of the best I've had. Steaks are delicious but undercooked. If you normally order a medium it's more like a medium rare there. Besides that great place.
Max
Food and service were good, but not outstanding. Otherwise, the price point was more in line with a higher end steakhouse, rather than this regional chain. This is kind of a fancier Longhorn, rather than a Ruth Chris. If you are looking for a perfectly grilled steak/bison steak make the quick drive to The Cavalryman in Laramie. It has an unassuming exterior but excellent food.
David Lee
Just brilliant. Picked up our lunch curbside and took it to the park.
The fried shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly.
The burger was cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh.
Racer Girl
Very Delicious , I recommend trying The Chicken Fried Steak Or The Rib Eye
Yummm
brandie whitaker
Great service and delicious food. Not our favorite for ribs but the steaks are fantastic...
Carrie Brown Owens
Oh my goodness. The food was DELICIOUS! We got the Cote de Boeuf. It comes out cut up but the server places spices and oils on a sizzling hot skillet and cooks it to perfection in front of you. The kids meals come in a 3-d classic car in their favorite color. They also cover the table in paper and bring crayons for the kids to draw on the table. Such a great place.
Hailey Leichtnam
I will give credit where it is needed, the service was phenomenal and just overall was very welcoming especially for children and people who are travelling. One waiter even went around drawing animals for children waiting. For a $18.00 burger though I was a little disappointed. I've had better burgers for a third of the price back in Texas. There was a random burnt chip in my fries and no avocado on my burger. My burger was also falling apart and the bottom bun was very thin. But like I said, the service was fantastic.
Ms. Teeka Palmer
OH MY WORD! Awesome steaks! I got thr 6 oz Filet w/ Lump crab and paradise sauce on top! YUMMMMYYYYYY!!
bishop51807
Good food, good people & decent portion sizes.
Austin Troya
The food was delicious, albeit perhaps a little overpriced. It would be better if a $20+ came with two sides instead of one. I was still very satisfied with my meal and service was good.
slim pickins
The best food around .. awesome staff .. highly recommend..
Chris H
Amazing! I had the crab stuffed mushrooms and a filet mignon. The special was a blackened steak with blue cheese and bacon. One of, if not the best steak I have ever had.
Lynda Gilley
Was very excited about trying out this place and getting a good steak. Service was great, the steak was very disappointing. Full of gristle and tough. Won't return. I can find a better steak at a much better price! 😭
Teresa Cooper
Out of a lot of things. Food took too long for how little people there. Service is good. Wouldn't come back
Casimiro V.
If you are ever in Cheyenne Wyoming you really really need to eat at this place. Awesome food, awesome service and the manager was awesome to talk to! Atmosphere was perfect and very clean place!
Savannah Schmutzer
Absolutely amazing place! This is our favorite restaurant as a family to visit. Sammie was our server and she was fabulous—management is blessed to have her. She’s a dynamo. Every visit at this restaurant is top-notch and pleasant. We look forward to coming in!
Peter Middleton (Middza)
Great food the baseball steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare. The taste was excellent with no tough parts.
Carrie Tithof
Best place we've had dinner at since we moved to Colorado. It's been seven years. I highly recommend. It's great!
Ali Bakir
Had the lamb chops with side of fries. Had chicken fingers for appetizer. Both were great!
Last Chance Camp and Lodging Cheyenne
Always excellent food. . We said we were on our way to a show at the Civic Center so she was quick with our orders and the check, but not skimpy on being friendly !
chestin salisbury
Service was stellar, food was delicious (hot beef sandwich, t-bone steak), and the peanut butter pie was really, REALLY good.
Definitely would go back again.
Beth Carsno
Outstanding on all levels, service, atmosphere, and yes food, num. Would highly recommend,
Super wolfman719
My baseball cut sirloin steak was way too salty! Over salted that my tongue felt raspy form the high salt content. Learn to season just right!
Black Lace Ink
This place was out of this world on food quality, service, and everything! Mark was the absolute best server and we will definitely be back next time we are in town! Truly a gem!

I'm sorry I forgot our waitress' name but I want to say she was awesome!! We have been to Livingston, Montana Rib n Chop and were excited to see there was one in Cheyenne!! Great service, Great food, Great atmosphere!!! Thank You!! July 18, 2020
WES Harman
NY strip cooked perfectly. Quality selection of beers on tap. To be honest it's probably not the best steak you'll ever eat but the place is professionally run and is perfectly capable of delivering a quality meal for a reasonable price. I'll try another steak house next time I'm shut down (for academic purposes if nothing else) in Cheyenne but won't be disappointed if WRCH is the only place open.
mansfield little
We had a wedding party. That had been set up for mths. My fiance was never told that there was a 2hr time limit. She came in early and nobody said anything about it.. we arrived at 3pm. The orders were not taken until after 4pm food did not arrive until after 5. then had staff come to the table to tell us we needed to be done by 530 because they had another party that they needed to set up for..Wedding Party was ruined we had to end it early. 😒😒

Holy cow! Had the ribeye, best steak I ever had in my life.....the meat literally melted in my mouth. Went back the next night and had the roasted chicken on a bed of spinach. Mmm mmm..... I can't wait till I can stop in Cheyenne again so I can return.
Andrew Hamilton
The bartender was great, but the food was just ok. Grilled oysters with so much cheese that you couldn't taste any oysters. Gumbo roux wasn't dark at all making a fairly bland gumbo except for the cayenne. Ribeye cooked nicely at rare, even under slightly, but it was covered on oil/butter, even pooling up on the plate. Ribeye is the fattiest piece of meat you can order other than prime rib possibly. The last thing anyone should do is add more fat on top of it. Just made for an oily, greasy piece of beef that was hard to eat much of. A few tweaks and this place would be ok.
Dee Hanson
Best meal I had in Wyoming. The ribs were awesome. The squash casserole was good. Even the lemonade tasted good. Nice occasion. Servers were fast and efficient.
Robin Wheeler
We had great steaks and the service (Jenna) was top notch. . . 👍😊
Mark Kline
High Quality Restaurant. Very Nice Atmosphere. Amazing Food. Friendly Staff. Highly Recommend !!
Fred Schweighardt
I really enjoyed it. I had a brand new server, River, and she was great. Food came fast and tasty. I had a lg. house side salad, and the grilled chicken with a cup of gumbo. They were out of broccolini, which was a drag, bu I got some extra spinach instead. Potatoes seemed to be made from scratch, but I only had 1 bite (diet). Very good overall
Chip Fox
Great steaks! Everything at out table came out perfectly cooked. Steak was flavorful and tender. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. Reservations are suggested. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it filled up fast. Bar looked nice but I didn't visit it on this trip.
Joe Feser
Amazing service. CJ the manager always checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
Robert Wolf
The ribs have a strong sweet BBQ sauce that completely over-powers the meat taste. The fillet steak is very nice but because it is thick changed from medium rare to medium. The sides and Caesar salad and gumbo soup were great.
Very busy place so arrive early and expect to wait 20 minutes.
C L
Everyone was so nice and friendly. Our waitress Dawn was great! The house salads were fresh and came with egg and avocado. The NY strip was cooked perfect and was excellent. Ribs were very good. We had big Idaho baked potato and the squash casserole. We were too full for desserts but they looked yummy.
Gregory Olson
Excellent baby back ribs. The BBQ sauce was tasty. Fall off the bone tender. Tasty soups. Nice selection of local craft beers. Too full for dessert, but some nice choices.
Nuu Mauka
Awesome ribeye. Waitress was great too
Patricia McCoy
Our dinner was delicious, my drink from the bar was a lemon meringue drink and it did indeed taste like the yummy dessert. Our waitress was fantastic and friendly. We will go back again.
Mario Bugnone
We were traveling through the area and met a long time friend there from a few hours away. A steak sounded amazing after the days of driving. I ordered the strip and it was mediocre at best. Now usually I wouldn't complain but with the prices they charge it is a shame that such a big beautiful piece of meat was so flavorless. My wife's salad with steak strips tasted much better. Would not return for a steak but enjoyed the atmosphere.
Bill Aaron
Everything was delicious, steak perfectly cooked . Wish the fried mushrooms was more of them for the price. 12 mushrooms is a teaser. Not an appetizer.
Dragonfly Beads
Wasn't overly impressed for the price. The service was fine, the restaurant decor and cleanliness was fine, the food was even fine.... I just left feeling I'd just visited yet another restaurant that was more hype based on name than it was focused on a truly amazing dining experience.
Kyle Moe
Way over priced for mideocre food. The cesar salad was alright. The shrimp weren't peel properly and didn't taste that good.
Ben Ward
Great server, good environment. Less than impressed with the food. I don't mean to knock the place, I have been here in the past and it's always been decent. This evening however, the special (Halibut) sounded great, so I went for it. Presentation was excellent but overall lackluster flavor and quality (bland and dry). I understand halibut is prone to being dry if not prepared correctly but given the price I expected better. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism and not just me blindly badmouthing the restaurant.
Paul Kosinski
My wife and I ate lunch here last October (2021). Great atmosphere, seated next to the fireplace, easy parking on the street or in a lot behind the building. Food was good as was the service, worth coming back for. Those seated around us seemed to also be enjoying themselves.
Ray Rieker
The food was barely warm. Got the onions for $4.00 more. Got about $0.10 worth of onions. Noisy.
Rob Shank
I really love this place but your experience really depends on your server. There can also be differences if the kitchen is off. Nothing major, just enough to notice. This started about a year ago when the general manager moved on. All and all it is great place.
Gwynneth Bauer
Service was excellent!! Jasmine was a real sweetheart and a great waitress. The food was exceptional! Their side salad is delicious with eggs, bacon, avocado, chopped tomatoes and onions. The jalapeno beer cheese soup is yummy! And the ribs were amazing! The tender meat fell off the bone, the sauce was great, and there was plenty to eat even in the "street" rack. Atmosphere was great! Definitely recommended!!
Craig Collins
Nice place with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very nice and the food was great.

This place was perfect the food was delish and the service has definitely set a new standard.

There are not enough words to describe how much I enjoyed the concept and the experience I had at the Rib and Chop House. This place is amazing and is a MUST VISIT any time you are in Cheyenne. I believe there are other locations, so if you find yourself near one, do not hesitate, do not pass go, make a reservation, or stop into this place. I need the owners to branch out and open a location in Kansas City frankly. It was so nice to find a place to visit for dinner that didn’t require putting on a dress and heels to have a nice dinner. To get to the end of your day and know that your nice jeans and polo are just fine, but the experience will still be amazing and the atmosphere will be as enjoyable as the staff assisting you. My only thing with this location is the parking. And by that I mean parking for people who aren’t local. This location is on a GREAT corner and there is some street parking out front, and then behind the restaurant is a parking lot, however its hard to understand where you can and can’t park, and WHEN you can and can’t park there. (Suggestion, have the location add that information to their website/app so when folks are shopping around they are “in the know” about how, where, and when they can park in the lot). We tried the steak and ribs for our meal. My side of loaded mashed potatoes were some of the best I have ever had. Steak was cooked to order, and the staff made sure it was correct when brought to the table. The ribs had a kick to them and were fall off the bone delicious. We ordered crème Brulé for dessert and it was delicious with a fresh strawberry on top. I appreciated the openness of the dining room. There seemed to be an ample number of tables that were not so close that you feel like you are sitting on top of the table next to you. I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the staff member that assisted our table but she was a delight. Every staff member we encountered seemed happy to see us, happy to answer questions, and happy to help. This place will be my go to ANY TIME in the future I am in the area.
Jeff “J-No” Noble
Food and service were great. We'll be back. Priced reasonably too.
Deb Moxley
Best all around restaurant hands down !!
Great wait staff super friendly & so efficient. Best food I’ve had out in a long time !! My husband had the ribeye mashed potatoes spinach & stuffed mushrooms & I had the filet perfectly done. Squash casserole spinach mushrooms & onions both dinners were excellent! Just excellent !
Anthony Duran
My daughter and I had the lunch steak special and it was one of the best steaks I have eaten in a long time
Samantha Anderson
We recently celebrated our anniversary here. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel like our night was so special. They gave us a card, signed by all of their staff and gave us an awesome dessert for us to share......amazing service and awesome staff! Thank you guys!
Etta Carrigan
I am from NY so it was nice to find a good steak house
My son and his wife took me there
Jon Nelson
Your customer service is failing miserably your employees just dont care if you make money they are there for a paycheck and your food is overpriced but definetely on the better end of cheyenne standards. You put this restaurant 45 mins south and it would go out of business in my opinion location is keeping you alive.
Kelly Jew-Garcia
Best meal we've had on our cross country road trip. First time we've ever been asked how we want our meat cooked for pork and fish. Beers were local and tasty. Waitress was super welcoming and memorable. Lots of space, they have a dining room and a bar area, both with table service and the same menu. The bar has plenty of TVs to watch various games on. Manager came and walked around to make sure everyone was taken care of.
Robert Weinland
Reasonable prices, great service, good food
Chad Wright
Everything was very good. However ribeye overpriced for a fried? steak.
Josh Lund
Love this place. Small town, amazing food and service. Look at the reviews for this establishment. If you are passing through, stop here.
Mark Scherer
Ordered the filet and it was delicious. For a steakhouse it was very well priced. If we find our selves in Cheyenne again we will make another stop.
JEEPN4GOLD
Awesome food and service! I've never had fried green tomatoes quite like theirs and they are delicious!
Nicole Griffin
Nice place. Food was good. I like Texas Roadhouse better. Same quality of food for less money.
minnstar 13
While traveling through Wyoming last week we spent a day in Cheyenne and had dinner here. The menu was decent and so was the food. My wife and I both had steaks which were cooked perfectly, but the sides weren’t very good.
The thing that bothered me most was that the ribeye on the menu was priced at 39.99 but they charged me $44.95 without explanation. They also charged me for a small cup of sour cream w/o telling me too. Then, I get the check, pay it with cash and the waitress doesn’t give me back the right amount of change.
I thought Cheyenne would be that last place people would try and screw me. Needless to say the tip wasn’t what I normally leave!
Robert Bray
Absolutely worth the money. The best steak that I have had in an extremely long time.
Luke Richmond
Ribeye! Tied for first as best steaks I have ever eaten. Priced very reasonable as well.
Nathanael Meagher
Our family loves this restaurant. Usually we visit at lunch, due to working in Cheyenne living in CO. Our waitress Lily was very sweet yesterday.
Robin Shaffer
Waited for thirty minutes for a meal when the bartender kept saying she was bored. When asked about the dinner it magically appeared within minutes. No seasoning on the steak and when that is what you do? For the price, nope . Texas steakhouse is a much better option!
William Knesel
I absolutely loved everything I ordered. We will definitely return. I can't say enough great things. The kids are treated to a cool 50s style car with their food. The food was phenomenal. All I can say is bring an empty large stomach and be prepared to treat your taste buds to a little bit of heaven.
William Mouncey
I'm visiting Cheyenne from the Kansas City area, where the KC Strip was invented, and I can truly say their fillet steak is the best steak I've EVER eaten.
Levi Trujillo
I stopped in after I seen a billboard off I-25, and I was happy I did so. I ordered the hand cut Ribey. I ordered medium rare and that's exactly how it was cooked-perfectly. They even have my favorite Colorado craft brewery beer on tap(90 Shillings). The bartender was really nice and attentive. She made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return when I am passing through next time!
Abs Cots
Very good food and service
Place is clean and organized
Kathy S
The service was good and the servers were friendly. The wings were a bit small for my liking but they tasted good and the ribs were delicious! We had a nice graduation celebration with a brownie sundae for dessert🙌🏾 …
Stephen Lee
Excellent Fulton Street Baby Back Ribs and Gumbo! For takeout.
JEFF PETERS
This visit, almost two years to the date of our first - highly impressive 5 star dining experience - was not as favorable. Our first visit in 2020 was superb and the reason we made a special point of coming here when we hit Cheyenne.
We got there at 8:45 PM on Saturday. They close at 10 PM. Not very busy. Our server was courteous, professional and prompt. Got our orders and then a series of small things occurred: needing to ask for bread twice (it says on the menu to ask for bread or water, no big deal), a forgotten side dish, a dirty steak knife (dried vegetable matter on the blade). One entrée was not close to being serving temperature and my loaded baked potato was luke warm at best.
They corrected everything (I didn't ask about the potato though as I was starving and frustrated at that point) and they did take off some from the bill and comped a dessert.
I have worked in the restaurant business so I understand everyone can have an off night. If this were my first visit I would be reluctant to come a second time. Prices were higher than I remember, but the pandemic and rampant inflation effects everyone.
Now ending on a positive. My baseball cut sirloin was perfectly cooked and tasted great. My finicky daughter was impressed with the Louisiana Jambalya. My wife's grilled chicken salad was great and the grandson loved his popcorn shrimp served in a paper car.
David Irish
So very cool bar, great service, but the worst pulled pork sandwich.....EVER! Thank God they have great BBQ Sauce.
Suzanne Barrett
Went to the Chop house last night and thought it was amazing . We were in town from Boston with our Airmen. The food was amazing and the service was even better !!! Rachel was our waitress, and she out did herself !!! We had drinks , apps , dinner , and dessert . Everything was delicious !! We will definitely be back . I am hoping in the meantime I can make the squash casserole!
Charlene Holtzclaw
Celebrated sisters bday. Excellent food and service!
Tommy Kromer
Good steak, good tap list, super friendly bartender.
Mike and Kath R
Excellent Belgian wit, also had the grilled oysters - which were good - and the special of the day was a chicken sandwich that was super - and they even split it for us😄 …
Sandy Faison
Love it!! Great food is a little pricey, but one can do it somewhat inexpensively if careful. Jordyn at the bar is fabulous! Music it a bit loud but to be expected to hurry people along. All help seems attentive!!
Autumn Mollet
The food was absolutely delicious! My husband had their ribs and they were fall off the bone tender. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was so good I didn't even add any sauce. Highly recommend eating here if in the area!!
Adnerb Rodper
I come from a long trip from Washington and I was looking for a good restaurant since I did not want to eat junk food, I found this place and the food was great, very attentive staff and super reasonable prices compared to the prices in Seattle, WA
Ben S
Amazing food and a very nice wine selection. Our waiter (Dusty) helped us match a very good wine with our food and was just so nice. Great experience all around.
Lisa T
For the amount of food you get at this place the prices are really high. Ordered a whole rack of ribs. I’m a woman and “eat like a bird”. I could have eaten 2 whole racks from this place. They tasted good but good grief they are tiny! $29.95 was the cost for one whole rack. The banked beans used to be the best in town. Seemed to have bits of shredded beef in them. This time it was more like hamburger in it. The taste of most everything at this place is good but definitely NOT worth the high prices. Hubby likes to order from here from time to time. Me? NOPE!!!
Melissa Levy
I had high hopes after reading great reviews and the fact that is supposedly a very popular restaurant for locals. As it's a steakhouse, I expected a nice ambiance. However, it's basically a glorified sports bar. I ordered the fillet which was highly recommended and considered a favorite. I asked for medium rare and after waiting a very long time, I was given a very rare steak. It was also flavorless and so incredibly tough the people around me at the bar commented on it! Thankfully, the manager offered to have a new one sent out which was much better, but still didn't live up to the hype and was still undercooked. While all that was happening, the pair next to me waited over an hour for their food. Overall, service was adequate but not the best; the food was decent but not worth the price. Especially considering they didn't offer me any compensation for the issues.
Jeneil Clark
The spicy shrimp was amazing. The crab stuffed mushrooms were absolutely delectable. I had the 7oz baseball cut. It was flavored wonderfully and was so tender. The baked potato was huge and filled with all my favorite fixings. The salad was perfect. They even have sweet tea which is hard to find. All in all was great. Service was perfect. Never had empty plates in front of me for all and my glass was never empty.
Nathan Wadman
First time I tried this place. Couple things kept me from rating it higher. First, we had a large group. We were seated fine, waitress took drink orders, fine, no problem. Took food orders. Fine, no problem. Appetizers came out, and let me just say that the fried shrimp were absolutely fantastic. The best part of the meal. Delicious. Then food orders came out. Everyone got their meals except me. Waitress tells me that they don't know where it's at. What, am I chopped liver? Waitress tells me she is sorry, but between her and another waitress, they just look embarrassed, but don't try to make amends - they totally leave me hanging to finish off the appetizers. Awkward. A few mins pass, and lo and behold they have my steak! They somehow found it. Great. I ordered steak and 2 sides - fries and potatoes. They forget my fries. I think they put me down as a salad instead and gave my salad to another member in my party. I ordered the baseball sirloin. It was pretty good, but conisdering the price and size, I was not impressed. They may have brought out the smaller of the sirloin sizes. I had ordered the 10oz. I think they brought me the 6oz. I had to wave the waitress down to get a drink refill. My "beef", no pun intended, is the service. Like I said, we had a large party. I don't think the staff were prepared or equipped to handle that. For the prices, should have been better. If service had been optimal, I would have given 4 stars. Not sure if I will go back.
S. M.
A little overpriced in regards to the flavor and dining experience. You'll get good food, I enjoyed the ribs and mashed potatoes, but the flavors are anything you can't do at home for half the price (or less).
Andrea G
All of the staff was very accommodating. Highly recommend calling ahead and making reservations, especially during frontier days. They took my celiac disease very seriously and took careful measures to make sure I did not get poisoned. Added bonus, the food and service was fantastic
Randy Wilgus
We popped in around Happy Hour for a drink and appetizers in the bar, and it was excellent. Very attentive staff, appetizers were generous and delicious, loved local brews from ABC, prices were great. Next time we're in town, we will go for dinner.
Chris Linzey
Hands down the best ribs I have ever had I highly recommend this place.
adam mccarter
The service was great. The food was good But it is really overpriced I wish I could give a zero rating for the pricing because it is just ridiculous.
M L
Wonderful burgers and steak! Must try! Pricey but worth it! Best we've ever had!
Tina Fernandez
Service was great. Food was delicious. I split a steak and a pulled pork sandwich with my husband. I tasted some of my daughter's Mac and cheese too. Everything was delicious.
tylar winegarner
Ate there about 3 years ago still haven't forgotten the taste of the steak I had. So juicy cooked to perfection. Best steak ever.
Mary Enriquez
Pleasant and inviting atmosphere. Ribeye was grilled to perfection. Location noy far from main highway or interstate Highly recommend stopping in for a nice relaxing meal.
Donna Huntley
Sit down meal by the fireplace enhanced our eating experience. The steak filet was grilled to perfection 🥰
Nathan Park
If we could give it more then 5 stars we so would. It was a very busy night so service was a little slow but the staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. So the wait was super worth it. Also since this was mine and my wife’s 10 yr. wedding anniversary they gave us a free dessert. Totally would recommend this place. Heck, if we could we would build a little apartment in the kitchen next to the freezer. True story
Fritz
Good food and excellent service. I would go back if I am in Cheyenne again.
Rick Bishop
Steaks were perfect and Megan was an excellent server! My wife said that her daiquiri was one of the best she has had.
Bunny
This is by far the best fried green tomatoes that I have ever had so far. The sauce, the crab topping, the crispiness was perfect!
David Maldonado
This place is amazing. Hands down the best restaurant in Cheyenne. The steak was amazing, the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this place if your looking for fine dinning. I dont think you can really go wrong with anything you order from here.
Brittany McCann
This place was great! We were first surprised by apple slices and dipping sauce for the boys- which was a distraction for them until our meal arrived. The kids’ food came in an adorable little paper car, which they loved.
Our server was attentive, friendly, and-during these times- followed safety and health guidelines. The manager checked on us, as well. We left this restaurant in a great mood and appetites sated.
Ashley Marie
We decided to go here based on the sign stating, "Voted best steakhouse in Wyoming and Montana" and it did not disappoint. Aside from the food being absolutely amazing, the staff was friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean. The menu had plenty of options. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. They offer bottomless bloody Mary's, mimosas, and screwdrivers on weekend mornings and all are fantastic. Highly recommend.
Jeffrey Rowlands
The bartender, my server was wonderful. I ordered the ribs. Meh. The gumbo was tasty.
Hunter Moore - Moore Capital LLC
If more than 5 stars were available, Dorthy herself would get all of them. I’ve eaten at this place numerous times but tonight topped it off. Dorthy was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for our very large party. She nailed everyone dead on and in a professional and timely fashion! I hope management sees this and buys her dinner! Well deserved!

Fabulous food, the best we had on our trip to WY. Waitress was great and we came on a very busy night. Salmon and steak where tender and had a wonderful flavor. Would highly recommending eating here!

This place has the best steak in Wyoming!
I had the pleasure of being served by Paige & Kaitlyn at the bar.
They recommended that I go with “Hand-Cut Ribeye Medium Rare”. It also comes with 2 sides so I ended up getting the “Mac N Cheese & Baked Beans”. What an incredible meal! Probably one of the best steaks that I’ve ever had especially at the price point of $42.95. The Mac N Cheese & Baked Beans both rocked too!
Paige & Kaitlyn both offered me fantastic service while I was at the bar. These are the type of employees that you must keep and reward. You both rock! Keep up the great work! You have a customer for life now! 👀🔜

Great steak and great service. Everything was great. Crab stuffed mushrooms. Loaded potato soup. Dry aged ribeye.
Pat Smith
Great server...and the food was great. It wasn't very busy so we got all the attention we needed. Everything was quick, delicious, and served with a smile. I really couldn't ask for more.
1st time in Wyoming in quite a few years, and this makes me want to visit again.
Debra Harris
We waited to go there for a special occasion and the food and service were very good. What I didn't appreciate was how the "special" steak prices and salad were handled. Every single thing they added was extra. Crab and sauce priced each when it was outlined as a "special filet". Added another $17 to our steak price. "Loaded" salad charged by the item for avocado, egg, bacon. Won't be back anytime soon and will tell all our friends.
Cheyenne needs a upper end restaurant but gouging customers isn't right.
Frederick Bailey
Excellent, attentive service by Robert. My only gripe is an overcooked NY Strip. I ordered it medium rare and sadly, the steak arrived medium well. I hate wasting food so I didn’t say anything but heads up in the kitchen!
Sheila Derrington
Great atmosphere. Staff was fantastic. Our server, Meaghan, is great at what she does! Our food was great! Will definitely be back!
Misty Sullivan (Star Child)
They were really friendly and they were busy and cause it took over 20 mins for our food they paid for our dinner
Fermin Gonzales
I had an issue with the taste of my Angus steak sandwich and it was promptly addressed by the manager on shift 🙃.
The steak tasted like liver, I ate over 3/4 of the sandwich and I tried dipping it the sauce to see if it was just my imagination but unfortunately it wasn't.
I was not charged for it, even though I wasn't trying to get a free meal.
As I said she did the only thing she could do to take care of the situation.
Unfortunately I got sick from, it but recovered after 6 hrs of stomach issues.
I will go back to have one of their Angus steaks next week.
I had their great ribs 2 weeks ago, so in my opinion it's one of those things that happens even when you think you've taken all the precautions .
Life goes on 🐮🐂.
Courtney Roberts
The server Alex was awesome, and the food was divine.

I loved this place! Great food and superior service!!!!
Kevin Graham
We were traveling through and this was recommended to us... it didn't disappoint!!
The local beer we had was quite good, the steaks were amazing and the staff was excellent. We are so glad we stopped.
Malliaque Satterfield
Hour long wait in restaurant but bar wait was short. Our server was amazing, Paul truly was great. The food was a 6.5 as I had a burger with bacon (1 slice broken in half) and jalapeños and the other plate was the ball steak "med rare" way more rare than normal but decent. They were busy on friday night so I get it. 3.5 stars overall. Would definitely go back next time in Cheyenne.
Mark Brush
They accomodated two people with 30 minute notice, considering you have to make reservations. Restaurant and bar were packed. Service was great, mixed drinks were fantastic. Had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer, amazing. Very very good. We both ordered the Buffalo Ribeye. For a $50 steak, honestly expected better. Was properly cooked, no issue there. However, my steak was filled with enough gristle that it took a few minutes to carve a piece off to eat. Bit on the salty side as well. My partner noted the same thing. Menu stated 15-16oz steak, looked much smaller. I've purchased and prepared prime ribeyes from reputable meat houses, and they look MUCH better than what we recieved for 50 each. Bill was 163 total. Wasn't impressed, expected a Wyoming steak house to be much better.
Jeff Johnson
I ate at the bar during Frontier Days.
I had an awesome salad with blue cheese, buffalo ribeye, with blue cheese sprinkles and a loaded potato.
Great service!
Outstanding tasting food!
Comfortable atmosphere.
Affordable.
Alexandra Thompson
I have been there on multiple occasions. I had a ribeye one of the times - it came out way overdone and they were willing to bring another out. Although I love the idea of a 500 degree plate, I don't know if it's worth the risk of service? There is a lot of timing that goes along with that and the service has to be perfect for that. And that's a lot of stress for the waitstaff...every steak has to be delivered the minute it gets off the grill to the plate. But - when it's right, it's a beautiful thing. I can definitely appreciate that.
Next time I was in, I got the oscar style filet mignon. The crab meat was a little dry but the steak itself was very good. The mashed potatoes serving left more to be desired. But - I shouldn't say much because after the meal, I was sufficiently stuffed. Finally, I had a creme brulee. It could've used a little more sugar topping so it would give the satisfying crack and crunch. Otherwise, the custard was pretty good. Just wish there was more of a contrast of textures.
It's definitely one of my favorite spots to eat when I'm in Cheyenne. Too bad it's a chain - Cheyenne needs a locally owned steak house.
K Hov
The food and drinks were exceptional! Something was missing in the atmosphere and I can't pinpoint what it was exactly.
Yushi Liu
Very good food, and very reasonable price. Much better than any restaurant of similar price in Colorado. I highly recommend the ribs and baked potato with load.
B Gilbert
Service was stellar from hostess who snagged us a first come first serve high top to our very attentive young waitress. This was during start of Frontier Days. Two of us had ribs and steak and beers to our satisfaction. Before walking away asked us to cut steak to gauge acceptable temperature which was nice touch. Carrot soufflé side was incredible and large in size, tasted like dessert. Busy weekday. Seemingly a solid choice for visitors looking for steakhouse feel that doesn’t break the back. Free parking out back.
Valley Auto Locators Gering NE
Good food. Good service can’t ask for more than that!
Elijah Howard
Great, friendly staff. Attentive waiter. Really really good food. They also brought the little guy out some apple slices right away. Very much enjoyed our visit. The carrot soufflé was awesome.
Bob Barker
Love this place, stayed overnight in Cheyenne a couple years ago. Hotel staff recommended this steak house. I’m a carnivore and love beef. I had the rib-eye steak and honestly it was the best steak that I’ve ever eaten. Planning a trip through Wyoming in September, this place is on the top of list. 5*****’s
LaVelle Jones
Food is subpar. Atmosphere is nice and service was good. I had the salmon and it was overcooked and the squash casserole was cold. The drinks were ok. Nothing special. My kids did the like the cute kids meals.
Brandon Johnson
The food was very good and the service from our waiter Jeremy was excellent (he really made an impression). We ordered steak, jambalaya, stuffed potatoe and pulled pork sandwich. Prices were reasonable and we got bottomless mimosas or bloody Marie's for $10 until 2 pm. Great deal!
Lisa G
The service was outstanding. Morgan was a fantastic server and took care of us with a big smile too. The ribeye steaks were INCREDIBLE. Like so good you couldn't even take a break to talk because your taste buds were exploding. We have eaten steaks from all over the country and this one was by far the absolute best we have ever eaten. We highly recommend eating here over and over.
Raquel Navarrete
Love here gambo soul and chicken tenders yum. People are so kind service is amazing. Have had some amazing mother daughter dates here with my mini me 😊. She loves sitting by the fire place.
matthew renshaw
Try this place! They were amazing, the food was awesome, they were quick & curtious. You could practically cut the steak with a butter knife. Every waiter stops to say hi and check in and they know the menu by heart. I highly recommend this restaurant it was the best restaurant experience I've had to date
Steven Heires
Nice dining experience. Excellent service, good steaks and ribs. Very popular on a Saturday night, but the team managed the crowd very well. We enjoyed an excellent meal!
Joseph Williams
Don't be in a hurry. Our waitress was courteous and friendly. However, she could probably use a little more training. My wife started with a water shortly after she ordered a beer when our appetizer arrived. After about 15-20 minutes I got her attention and asked about the beer, she was like oh yeah. I ordered another beer my wife was like you still have about 1/3 left, I responded with the speed of service here I'll be done before she gets back and I was.
cassidy davis
Absolutely phenomenal! Food and service was outstanding! Best steak I’ve ever had. We celebrated our 1st anniversary here, and felt nothing but the outpouring of love! Megan was our server and she was fantastic!! Would recommend to anyone who is in Cheyenne or just visiting!!
Theresa Chapman
We had a late Valentines dinner here while on a road trip. We both had the filet and it was amazing alongside the garlic mashed potatoes. Yum! I would highly recommend this place.
Suzi Brown-Evans
Seriously we could not have been happier!! This place has chef's working the kitchen!! We enjoyed the waitress Deborah!! A continuing birthday for my husband. We will be back, what an amazing dinner.
Bob Mulroy
I've deen this dismissed as a "chain restaurant." Every restaurant should try to be this great!
My steak was perfect the sides were just right and even my vegetarian with found enough on the menu to stay happy.
sharon concannon
Amazing dinner. We started with fried green tomatoes- delicious!! The gumbo was delightful. I had pasta alfredo with shrimp and scallops and my date has a strip cooked "Pittsburgh Raw". Both were delicious. Would highly recommend. Our server, Kaitlyn, was great.
Kelsi Camper
Great service! Great food! We made an online reservation for a Sunday afternoon during March Madness. They were slammed but they were awesome. Our reservation was honored and they even acknowledged our special request of seating nearby televisions.
Morgan was our server and she was faaaantastic. She was quick, polite, and on top of things. She even humored me when I wanted to talk about basketball.
You're always paying a premium at the Chop Houses but it's worth it when you have service like this. Highly recommend the filet and the squash casserole.
Julie Thomson
Let me just say this place wowed my husband and I! Sara was amazing and took great care of us! It was my birthday and we're visiting from Oklahoma. She not only took a picture for us, but had it printed and put in a nice sleeve! They also had the staff sign a birthday card for me! The food was amazing, portions we're good, and my birthday dessert (apple cobbler) was delicious! Thank you for making my birthday extra special!❤️
dan b
A good dining experience...especially if you love steak ribs or chicken. Salmon on a shingle is also excellent. Bar area and dining room are comfortable. Service is always good to excellent. Highly recommend it!
Paul Brownell
The steak is delicious, presented in a scalding hot plates that keeps it warm to the very last delicious bite. The service is great. They are locally popular. I have only visite twice, but they had a waitlist both times...on a Wednesday night and a Thursday night.
Kirby Beerbower
SO DELICIOUS!!! The BBQ shrimp is amazing or as I call it buttery shrimp goodness. The staff is super nice and the food is out of this world good. Do yourself a favor and go to the Rib & Chop House! Reservations may be needed because this place is AMAZING!
Ashley Squibb
My family came here on father's day to celebrate. There wasn't a long wait, the food was great and our server was amazing! He definitely made our experience here wonderful. He was one of the better servers we've ever had.
Patience Hopkins
Favorite place. Excellent steaks, especially alternative ones. Cool cuisine, waiters are nice, helpful, sommeliers. Interesting dessert, pleasant atmosphere, cozy. There is a sense of coziness and privacy. Cool wine list and friendly staff. I meet many later in other steakhouses - the world is small. It is a very atmospheric place, with magnificent steaks! Excellent service, everything is on top of it!
Leonard Sperry
Taking the family on a cross country trip. A local recommended this place and they were not wrong; the food and service were amazing. If you have a sweet tooth, you must try the carrot souffle.
Marc Slover
Had an amazing filet and the carrot souffle was a great addition.
JL Thurman
My husband & I just ate at the Rib & Chop Steakhouse. He got the filet & I got the ribeye. We split them in 2 so we got half of each. We always have preferred ribeyes, but the waiter rec'd the filet so we decided to give it a try, we're so glad we did. The filet was delicious. We both agreed that the filet was so outstanding it outshown the ribeye. We also asked for rec's on sides & desserts and again his rec's were the best, ex: carrot soufle, sp?, loaded baked potato, & garlic mushrooms (waiter likes to pour over his steak). The dessert was the last 1 on the menu, I think it was called Pecan Meltaway. It was so good my husband & I were fighting over who got the last bite.
valerie gibson
Alex, our server, was so awesome, participated in our tom foolery, and was just all around perfect (and good looking to boot!). Food was delicious, presented very well, and dad loves Alex!
Joseph Straniero
My waitress was Kristan, she was kind and made us feel very at home. I ordered a ribeye medium rare. The steak was very rare in some spots. I still enjoyed my meal and recommend you eat here.
Allie Ruxton
We've been here multiple times and never had a bad experience. The staff are always polite and the food is fantastic. When we bring our son they've even given us apples and yogurt for him to munch on which is awesome. The only thing I've noticed is that with both the fried steak and fried chicken, the breading has a kick to it which is more of a preference than it is a con. Would definitely recommend Rib & Chophouse though.
JT
Pretty good. Great meat. I really love chicken nuggets but if you're in town, try the meat. It's so good and beefy. Awesome stuff. Thanks.
Jim M.
Paige was great, food was epic. If your in the area great steak awaits. Would rate 5/5 but they did away with local libations.
Victoria Bishop
Went to dinner with my family, and it was a great experience! I'd heard great things about it from friends and family but never had gotten the chance to actually try it. The salad I had was very fresh not at all wilted. I also ordered the gumbo soup which was good if your into spicy food. And lastly for dessert I ordered the creme brulee, which was good taste wise but it needed to be chilled for longer with a more crystallized sugar top, it was a little too soft.
Matt Dempsey
Best service I have ever had. Ask for the server Justin. He will take great care of you. Great food as well. The Gumbo is just as good as in Louisiana. Fantastic steak. They actually cooked my steak the way I wanted it. If you want medium rare, you get medium rare. You definitely get what you pay for.
Hope AF
The food is good for the most part but don't get the mushrooms appetizer. Its soggy. I really like the fish and chips and chicken entree's. The service is not the best but not bad. If you go on a busy day, you might have a poor service experience because the waitstaff is easily overwhelmed. The dining room is a nicer atmosphere where you can have a date night or bring your folks from out of town but if you want a more casual pub-like atmosphere they have a bar area. There's something for everyone here. Four stars 😁
A -Team Family #5 Aragon
Great food, great prices, and great service.
Cosby Clark
Ribs were good, steak sandwich was good, pulled pork wasn't all that for a southerner, but was still good. Sides were fantastic. Kitchen was pretty slow, but seems to be the case most places these days.
Jeffery Boyce
The food was good. The service was sub par. It was an hour between being seated and the arrival of our appetizers. My 8 year old daughter had to as 3 times for a drink refill(she was very polite asking please each time) before the server snipped at her that she would get it as soon as she got a chance. The kids finally got their food after 8:30, our reservation was at 7:00. Everyone just seemed overworked and irritable.
Zoë Hart
Everything was fantastic! The fillet was melt in you mouth, and the catch of the day (Halibut) was amazing!
Our server, Allie, was incredibly sweet and friendly; she recommended a great wine to go with my fish.
Iz DG
Fresh Gumbo is very good but my mom's Gumbo cup obviously got served the very bottom of the pot and was only scraped.
Steak not bad. Food took a while to come out. Service is hospitable.
Salad is salad, nothing extraordinary.
Brett Honeycutt
The fried chicken here is great, along with many other dishes. I come here every time I visit Cheyenne. The service is always great (thanks, mo!) The food is always good and the beers are tasty and plenty of options.
Lizzie Mueller
Best in Cheyenne!!!!! No one comes close... excellent service from the hosts when coming in the door to the server ( I'll get back to him ), to the busboy. Everyone was professional, courteous, efficient and made you feel that were genuinely glad that you had come for dinner. Not once were we rushed or made to feel that they needed to turn the table so hurry up, eat and leave. About Landon, our server....we rate him 10 ***... Awesome, knowledgeable, answered any questions we had with ease. If I owned a restaurant I would try to convince him to work for me. He is an asset to Rib and Chop House. If you're planning a meal there, ask for Landon. He will be worth waiting for if there is a wait. Bar was also efficient, knowledgeable and great mixologists
Dariann Scott
Cheyenne's Rib & Chop House is excellent every time I go. Most of the dishes don't sound special, but the chef always puts his own spin on them and does a wonderful job. It seems like there are new servers being trained every time I go, but the service is good and I always feel welcome. You can dress casual or formal without being out of place. If you come for brunch, order the Southern-Style Eggs Benedict and $10 bottomless mimosa/screwdriver/bloody mary!
Ahijah “Lee” Adams
quality food and very tasty. The jalopena cheese soup was good as well as double baked mash potatoes. Service was slow however. It took over a half hour after placing our order to get our lunch. Also my steak was a tad on the rare side. I asked for medium rare. Still it was worth the visit. I would go again.
Bonnie Tanamor
If traveling to Cheyenne, you MUST, I mean MUST eat here. We were only in town for the night, and luckily the front desk at our hotel recommended we forgo the place across the street and try this. Best decision we made on our road trip thus far. It was Sunday and they offered a prime rib special with two sides. I got the loaded baked potato and the carrot souffle. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and was served with horseradish with just the right amount of kick. There was nothing special about the loaded baked potato, but the carrot souffle blew my mind. Don't bother with dessert. Just get a side of this. We also enjoyed a flight of the local beer. The staff was attentive and took the time to chat with us. We had a great time and a fantastic meal.
Cathy Gilliam
Had lunch there with my sister. We were there when they unlocked the doors and were seated before any other customers arrived. Other arriving customers were attended to (drinks delivered and orders taken) before we were. Once we were finally able to get a server's attention, we could place our orders. It took a long time for our food to arrive. But when it did, it was quite good. Fish tacos were hot and delicious. The chicken salad was also delicious. What should have taken one hour from start to finish actually took 1 he and 40 min. It's a good thing neither of us had to be back to work on time. Rating given is the average between a 5 for great food and a 1 for lousy service. I don't think I'll be back.
Nick Sheridan
Good food. I think it depends on these night and who's cooking. Sometimes it's great and steaks are perfect. But the last time we were there my steak was mooing at me and I ordered medium well. That should be hot and pink. Not cold and red. The servers are always great and friendly. Bartenders are nice. I just think they need to have consistency with the cooks. Room for improvement but a good place and a nice atmosphere!
James W
When any friends come from out of state I bring them here. We have found it memorable because of quality of food and atmosphere. I really only order the fried chicken because its so cheap and better than kfc or church's.
Service can be hit or miss, but I go to the bartop and it's always solid.
Karen Bosurgi
Comfortable atmosphere, great service, and a solid menu. The "baseball" cut left a little to be desired, but the filet was excellent. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was delicious and interesting. They also have a great selection of local beer on tap.
Douglas Ward
The prices are over the top for the service and food quality. The prime rib was fat more then meat the food was prepared awesomely for what it was but I may still have sticker shock for what I received.
heath loftin
I eat there occasionally. Never had anything to complain about. Last night i took my wife there for her birthday and she had the fried green tomato burger and loved it. I had the chicken fried chicken. It was so good i made sure to save enough for lunch the next day. Best chicken fried chicken I've ever had.
AJ T
Dinner on 4/9/21 - Ordered the filet. Came out butterflied which I never requested, was bland due to a lack of seasoning or salt from the kitchen. Two others plates came out wrong but were redone. Mine not so much. Portions on the light side with no bread served to table. Did not get the quality of service or food for over $100 that it cost me. But I feel there is much potential if the staff would just get it right.
Adriane Hill
The food was excellent service was good Dusty was wonderful waiter. I will definitely go back when I'm in town next
Wayne Weckler
Very good for Saturday brunch.
Devan Van Winkle
Great food, great service, everything was worth the prices!
jeremiah webb
Sheena and Sage and Patrick did a great jobs. They made sure we were very happy and satisfied. Two nights in a row, with many options. We chose the Rib & chop twice. THANKS EVERYONE!!!
Marcela Martini
Best quality restaurant in Cheyenne. Service is great, food is impecable. They offer big city quality gourmet food, which I hadn't seen much of in Cheyenne yet. Prices are on the higher end, and they charge for every extra sauce or changes you request, so beware.
Overall a great experience (besides the background music), and I'll certainly be back
Kyle Peterson
I love eating here and have eaten at this location, the Cody house and Billings house as well. The staff is always friendly. It's always busy though, so it's best to call ahead and make a reservation. Mon-Tues you may have to wait 15-20 minutes, expect a longer wait on the weekend. The food is great, always cooked to order. The staff always makes good recommendations and they rarely make mistakes. It is a little more on the pricey side of restaurants but definitely worth it for a quality meal and good atmosphere. There is an open bar where seating is usually available for walk-in which is nice if you're in a hurry and were not able to reserve a spot. Great place to eat!
Rebecca Inman
I have liked going to the Rib and Chop house since they opened. The food was good, people were friendly and the atmosphere was great. We have had some issues with the wait staff there, but management has always been great about it.
Last night we went for the first time in about 3-4 months. The cedar plank salmon is a must when we go there. When we first sat down we noticed that their menus had changed. As we looked a little closer we noticed that the prices had been raised! Normally we were paying $16-18 for the salmon (can't remember the exact price) and last night we paid $21!!!! The raise in prices made us not order any drinks (we were both going to get an alcoholic beverage)
Seeing the prices have increased so much, we won't be going there very often like we had use too. It is pretty good, but not $21 per plate worth it...
Robert Sands
The food was amazing and probably the best steak I have ever eaten it was cooked flawlessly and seasoned well. Staff was great and friendly I will definitely return. However I will be sure to use the restroom before I go. The men's restroom reminded me of a run down convenient store. Holes in the walls plumbing just sticking out of the wall. Something had stained the wall in front of the urinal. The trash was overflowing with paper towles.
Max Erin James
I was not in the bar section, so I am unable to accurately rate that area, but it is spacious. I was on the other side, where the employees were very nice, the manager even checked on us, and the food was brought to us quickly. I do not recall what I even ordered, but I know I liked it! There were 9 of us at the table, and everyone said they liked their food, so these people know what they are doing! The beer was also very good. There is not much space in this section during busy hours, you get quite close to another table, but does not take from enjoying the food or having a fun time with friends or family. Well be going back to try something new!
Wyoming Ghost
We went here for lunch when we were in Cheyenne and we were impressed. Prepare for a bit of a parking issue though, especially at lunchtime.
The food was so great - we shared the "cheapest" cut of beef for our lunch and it was still perfectly seasoned, tender, moist and flavorful. The side dishes were a delight as well, including the heavenly carrot souffle' which took the place of my dessert. The waitstaff were very attentive and welcoming as well.
Jonas Arvidsson
Wow. Amazing food. And, the service was next level. My server, Landon, was on point, all night. And, when I was getting ready to leave & asked him if there was a convenience store in the area (I needed a phone charger plug), he offered to give me an extra one of his! He almost insisted! Wow. Great place!!!! Definitely worth a visit for some terrific food & absolutely terrific staff. Thank you, again, guys!!
Kate McElroy
Had high hopes for this place since the star reviews were decent, and they really hyped up their status and amazing food. But, while the staff was great, the food was sub - par. For “award winning” ribs they were very salty, small and dry. The side of fries was like 10 on a plate. My kiddo got the pulled pork sandwich which was also pretty dry, had to ask for extra sauce to make it edible. My husband and dad got the hand cut ribeye which they thoroughly enjoyed so at least it’s safe to get a steak at this steakhouse. Still, the sides were seriously lacking for them as well. I feel like they could use a refresher in interior decorating as well as getting back to basics on the food they apparently at some point had right.
Kirk R.
I eat here about once a month. The food is always great and the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. The way their steaks are served sizzling on a very hot plate is really a neat experience. It surprises me that when I order my steak medium-rare it doesn't end up over cooked on that 500 degree plate! I will definitely be back for more!!
Tim Gahring
My aunt and I stopped in on our way through Cheyenne, the ribs were great as well as the mushrooms. My aunt had the fish and loved it. Our waitress was awesome. Good food, Good People, Great experience!
Dawnna Telles
Very busy but we found seats at the bar almost immediately. The bartender/server Amanda was fabulous. We got our drinks immediately and our food was served very quickly. The steaks were excellent. The staff was very polite and customer conscious. I would highly recommend!
Jesus Fresquez
Love it, love it, love it. Great date place!! Awesome awesome food 👍 love the fried green tomatoes, and all the steaks are the bomb!!!!! …
Megan Foote
It took quite a while to get our food but when we did get it it was pretty good. The steak was high quality. My husband enjoyed the bottom Bloody Mary bar for $15. It did take a while to get our drinks as well so just be prepared to be patient.
Rocky Bolin
Went there for lunch to enjoy a nice sandwich. I called 20 minutes before arriving for a pickup order. The ambience inside was really nice and pleasant. The food was almost ready when I got there.
Staff was really nice. I entered and left via the bar, on the wrong side of the restaurant from where I needed to be. Staff directed me to the right place, all with a smile on their face. The hostess was new, but even with her lack of knowledge, she made it clear I was welcome.
Would go back again!
cogeek797
Even in the midst of the bat flu we were able to get a seat. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful service and the military discount can't be beat. We love coming here when we get the chance. Normally it's steaks but next time I am tackling that pork chop!
David Tidwell
I out of the 6 of us loved this place. It is very pricey. But to me the food was excellent. Our waitress did an excellent job (even wrote her name backwards and upside down on the table). So in my opinion it's a great place to go once in a while.
Joseph Leon
The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, but the host was extremely condescending. It was about an hour before closing, we were a large group (about 20) that called in advance. We were told we would be accommodated no problem. When we got there the host was rude & acted like she didnt want to seat us. Lucky the food was so good or I wouldn't be back.
Daniel Sayko
I'm 36 and a meatetarian, and this is far and away the best FIlet I have ever had!! CJ, the manager is running a quality operation, and the staff is altogether incredible! if you see him, stop and say hey. He's a great guy and an excellent restauranteur! Our server, Briana was top-notch as well! We drove all the way from Boulder (3.5 hours round-trip) to see what all the fuss was about. They absolutely delivered! The steak, the carrot soufflé and the crème brulee are to die for. I LITERALLY cut my steak with a fork (no joke)! Aside from the food and the customer service the experience altogether was truly unbeatable!!! It is also very kid friendly! Our daughter is four years-old and kind of a handful. The hostess was so great with her. She was interactive and made her feel like the center of the show. This restaurant was also originated as TJ Ribb's for any of you Louisianians out there. If you are from or have ever been to the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area, you will understand and appreciate the significance of this. TJ Ribb's is one of the most popular and loved restaurants in South Louisiana - which says A LOT!!!! South Louisiana is home to the best food in the world!!! 5 out of 5 for Wyoming Rib & Chop House. I am a food critic! I don't do positive reviews. I am no one to anyone reading this, but take this at face value: this is only one of maybe 3 5-star reviews I've ever given. That should help you understand how quality this product is... Enjoy your filet, and if it is available, they have a bone-in ribeye, I would strongly suggest ordering as well.

Usually have great food, this time 3 of us ordered the Chicken fried steak and all them overcooked. The staff is amazing. We definitely will try again.

Excellent food!! We stopped here for lunch while property searching in Cheyenne. The Executive Special was an amazing price. All food was perfectly cooked and delicious. When our relocation is finalized, we will be regular customers.

My sister ordered eggs Benedict with crab and fried green tomatoes got the regular. My waffle was cold but chicken good. Sister's order was corrected and good. Waitress was new but did okay but could use more training.

Good food and atmosphere but damn expensive. Also for a steak house they don't seem to have the ability to cook the steak right. Most of the steaks were medium or medium well but everyone order medium rare and 1 person ordered blue. For the price I expected better cooking. Quality of the food was great though.

What can we say, from the moment we walked in, everyone was so gracious. We had full attention. It was mom's birthday, they gave her a signed BD card, the took a memory picture and it was great! Free for us. The food was excellent! My salmon was under cooked but got it back fast with a free desert! We celebrated Mother's day there this year, full buffet, it was amazing!!

always make it a point to stop here. Megan and Trent are awesome bartenders and CJ is one of the best managers I've ever met at a restaurant. They are always so accommodating and it's a pleasure to come here after a long day of trucking. Food is spectacular, you can't make a wrong choice here. 🙏 …

Bayleigh our server was fantastic. Ask for her and her suggestions. You won't be sorry. Great evening of dining and cocktails

The service was great - nice selection of draft beers - we had one while we waited for our take out order. I was disappointed in the amount of meat on the full rack of ribs. Seemed a bit skimpy considering the price i paid for it. I have had the same thing in Sheridan and the meat was more plentiful and tender.

3/5 Stars. Me and my gf drove up for the day to shop and have lunch. The food was amazing. The service was okay. But when my gf orders a $13 Four Roses bourbon Steakhouse Sour and I watch them make it with their well bourbon, which is Jim beam, it kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth about what else they say they are serving you and could be lying about. Not a good practice at all.

Fantastic service and delicious food! I cannot say enough good things about our waiter, Hayden, who made sure that our food came out at the right times and glasses were always full. The whole staff was wonderful, and all were so patient with our very animated 3 year old. It was our first time here but you can bet that we will be back and will recommend this restaurant to everyone we know.

Great steaks! Kyle S is the best server!

Ribs were delicious! Very professional staff with fast and friendly service. They do take walk ins and you can seat yourself in the bar but if you are short on time make a reservation because this place is packed even on a Monday night.

Good value, good food. My food order was missed and didnt come out with the other 3 in our party, but it was an honest mistake and the team made it right. I had the ribs. They were good but very small. I will go back. Many more items i would like to try!

Ordered the ribeye with jambalaya was really good salads very fresh and tasty and char-broiled chicken with the garlic chicken and the garlic spinach yum was great!

The food was delightfully delicious. Our waitress was as pleasant as could be. I would welcome the opportunity to dine at the Rib and Chop House again, as long as they have plenty of pecan meltaways left for dessert.

Amazing food, pork was fabulous, the wife had steak that was like butter. The starter soup left you wanting more, big chunks of chicken tells you it was made from scratch. Great staff. Worth the drive from Colorado to come here. And we will be back.

Nice atmosphere, our server was less experienced but a sweet gal. The steaks were mediocre, pulled pork sandwich that I ordered was a bit on the flavorless side. Kids menu is alright, kid plates get served in a classic car made out of paper, which is fun and creative. I like the concept of the paper straws, as did my kids who used the straws and its components as a spit ball machine
