We happen to stop in as we were traveling through. This place is amazing. The food was great! The service was impeccable! Everyone we came in contact with was so nice! If you find yourself in Cheyenne this place is worth the stop! Hey I mean I HD breakfast for dinner, that is always a plus!

Service was great and friendly. My food (French Toast, Eggs, and Sausage) tasted delicious. The server was helpful, but also didn't come around too often making himself a bother either. We didn't have to wait long for our food. A great experience.

We stopped in to pass some time before meeting a friend. We shared a club sandwich and they were nice to split it onto two plates for us. It was a pretty good sandwich! The fries were good too.

Laur(a/en/el), they told us her name when we sat down, but i forgot, was very friendly and attentive despite having one larger party and at least the other tables. When I went to pay, I asked for a box because we hadn't seen her for a while, but that she had been great. The manager (R Greene) tells me she assigned our server to a "pie project." I was quite surprised , as all four of her tables were still populated. The. The manager repeated back the conversation when she assigned her. Apparently, the server said ",but I'm a better waitress." Then the manager tells me that she knew her when she worked at a coffee shop before and she was a terrible server. To say I was taken aback would be an understatement, I couldn't believe the manager was so unprofessional afterbi had just complimented our server and it was the managers fault we hadn't seen her in a few minutes. I made an excuse me/shocked face, but I'm not certain she noticed. We always have friendly service, but with managers like this, I get why they have a lot of turnover

Nice american dinner. The food was good, we order some eggs 🥚, pancakes 🥞 and bacon 🥓, the place was very clean and the service was very good. Not crowded, and we got a table as soon as we arrived. 😊

The food was good and our server paid the appropriate amount of attention to us. I had their new chicken fried steak breakfast burrito. It was large and completely filled me up. It was an initial shock of having white gravy on my burrito, but appropriate for chicken fried steak. For a hot sauce I put Chalula, though I would have preferred Chipotle Tobasco Sauce but they didn't have any. My wife had their Garden Skillet which looked good.

Sometimes a common chain restaurant can be a great place to dine, and Village Inn was that place tonight! Great service, great food, open when most other restaurants are closed, prices are fair, plenty of seating and the restaurant, including the floor was clean. Still highly recommended!

First time I've eaten here in quite some time and after today I can honestly see myself coming back more. Really nice, updated interior. The place was packed but we only waited about 10 minutes to get a seat. Our server was polite, had a great sense of humor and get attentive to our needs. I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. The steak was cooked perfectly and the gravy was tasty. Ended up with leftovers as you definitely get what you pay for. It wasn't very loud in there with as busy as it was so that made the conversation nice, not having to raise our voices to be heard. Highly recommend.

Recently this village inn has collected some of the best serving staff for Cheyenne. Christina the manager is awesome. Some really dedicated staff that has been there for years. Kudos to everyone.

Edit: Owner responded and I'm not sure how to respond back without making another review. My father and I went here (my first time). Now generally we are pretty patient people. When we arrived we had to be on a wait list to sit (Understandably so! It was a Sunday around noon-ish). As soon as we were seated, we got our drinks but needed a little bit of extra time to order. We placed our orders and waited, and waited, during which we saw MANY tables around us who had been seated afterwards, yet served before us. We had to ask about our food twice. At one point my father and I *both* thought it was because we were dressed not as conservative, if you will, as most of the other parties. I have tattoos and my appearance is very alternative. He was wearing an old band tee (it was a Christian band, too); however, it seemed that we were being treated like problematic adolescents and as if we had done something wrong because we didn't conform. There was also a table of people speaking VERY loudly about our dress and appearance, and "how dare we on a Sunday". My father and I were just quietly having a conversation and we were not loud, unruly, or problematic. Waitress seemed a bit spacey as well, but it was noon-ish on a Sunday so we were understanding. The only redeeming factors was that the food was well made, and the elder gentleman who seemed to be the host/pie-guy. (I wish I knew his name)

Delicious loaded tossed salad & ranch dressing. Good hot chicken noodle soup. Good grilled cheese, bacon, tomato sandwich. Good BLT. Bacon is great. Good peach pie. We chose Village Inn b/c we had eaten at them in Phoenix area. 😋Yum! Our waitress even ran after us out to the car to give my husband his phone, thank God! 😁❤️‼️

First time customers, and I'm glad we stopped. The food portions were generous, and reasonably priced. Our food orders were correct, and brought to the table pretty quickly. Our waiter, Mike, was friendly and professional, had a good sense of humor, and checked back with us several times to see if we needed anything else. Been here a number of times and this is a really underrated restaurant. The service has always been good during my visits here as well as all the employees are very friendly and welcoming. The food comes out in a timely manner and it's always fresh. I really have no complaints. I do have some minor advice though for management . During my recent visit as I approached the podium to get seated there was a manager scolding an employee in front of customers. I really think that should be done in private and not in front of customers but other than that Village Inn is a good restaurant to dine in at in Cheyenne.

Food was good, everything was tasty and prepared correctly. The server on our visit was having a rough day though. For example, he took our pie and check to the wrong table. Nothing that wasn't easily fixed, but we had to double check everything.

They opened at 7am we were there by 8am and it wasn't crowded. The staff was friendly (Mary was our server) and very accommodating. The facility was clean and organized well. We had (4 of us) omelets, biscuits and gravey, fruit bowls, eggs, and hashbrowns. Fruit was very fresh tasting and the rest of the food was excellent! Would highly recommend.

Definitely quick service. Breakfast is usually at your table within 10 minutes or so, even with the restaurant full of people on a Sunday morning. They have standard breakfast faire, but it is cooked well and my requests are almost always honored. Overall, my favorite place to get breakfast.

We love this place because it is in old style diner that you don't see anymore after being replaced with gimmick restaurants. They closed all of the ones in Portland Oregon a couple years back -BOOOOOO- So when we are traveling and find one we always stop to eat their. This one in Cheyenne was just a good. Good food and friendly staff.

This is one of the better religions that I have been to overall the food was good service was good and the place was clean waitress was very friendly. It all just depends on who's managing these chain restaurants like Village Inn. Some are not so great. But this one has always been good.

Being from Tennessee this place was okay. My family and I went there for the first time and we were not impressed. I recently ran into the franchise owner of village inn and he gave me a five dollar coupon to go try it out. I have lived here my whole life and never think to go there. I was greeted promptly and the service was amazing. I ordered a veggie omlet, the waitress was more than happy to help me customize it. It was delicious, I got the multigrain pancakes, equally delicious. My food came out in seriously 6 minutes after I ordered. The waitress, Christina, brought tobasco sauce and ketchup anticipating my needs. Thanks, will be back.

My experience was very good here.. I've went there and bought the Family some food .. We got six plates that was $65... They had it prepared pretty good time... The place was BUSY .. but, it is all right.. The food was very good and very tasty... I got eggs benedict and enjoyed them quite immensely I've been in many many times over the years I used to live here so I know them well:-).. I would tell anybody I highly recommend this place and you should definitely give it a try....
