Reviews of Paris West
O.m.g. go here. The food is amazing. If you love French cuisine I can't recommend this place enough. The coffee was smooth, the croissant was buttery and flakey. One of the best gems of Cheyenne. Definitely one of my new favorites.
Amazing food! Friendly and efficient wait staff! Chef Z is a visionary, and I can hardly wait to experience everything he has planned for the future! Definitely will be back!
Paris West was absolutely phenomenal. My other half and I went here for brunch a couple weeks ago. Apparently it was National Duck Day so the chef had prepared some shortbread cookies with little sugar ducks on them. Cute and yummy! We ordered the coffee to drink, it was Snowy Elk Blueberry served that day. I could binge on the Parmesan Beignets for days straight. The Croissant Croque Madame was perfectly cooked. My other half had ordered the french toast bread pudding and noted that it may look small but is very filling and delicious. Our server, I wish I remembered his name but I have the memory of a fruit fly, was very patient, attentive and helpful. It is a beautiful building, minimalistic, the tables did have a little decoration on it but it wasn't major to write home about. We will definitely be back. It is cozy, affordable and a peaceful place to enjoy a lovely brunch on a winter day.
Last time we were in we met one of the chefs. He's a true believer in healthy food which we appreciate. In fact his veggies come from a local family-owned nursery. We were in last night and it took quite a long time for our food to be served. To be fair, the restaurant was full and there were also a couple of private parties. Our waitress was very attentive. Brought us a bowl of cashews to tide us over and then the chef made sure we got dessert at no charge. Apple strudel for dessert which was delicious. Not overly sweet which is fine with us. Tried the sangria which was delicious and definitely enough for two people.
A little Paris in Wyoming! This place is refreshing! From handcrafted pastries, crepes to the food selections: this place is is the best! The food is freshly made, baked and the choices-the only hard part because it’s all amazing!!
Nom nom nom. The French onion soup was a perfect 10/10. They nailed it. The chicken Dijon was perfect and the portions on everything were giant. The bread was soft and the liquor strong. The charcuterie board was a strong value, lots of food to share for the small price.
The portions are big so come hungry. The restaurant is very high quality and delicious. We will be making the drive up from Denver to visit more, just to go to Paris West.
Open for brunch in the weekend from 9-2, Google is misleading! This place is excellent. Fast, friendly service with excellent quality food. We had the cowboy grilled cheese (omg!!!), the tomato bisque, the French onion and the French grilled cheese. You can’t go wrong with any of those. Come try this place out. Delish!
Great atmosphere! I love that the heart of the owner is evident in every single aspect of Paris West. She genuinely cares about serving the people of Cheyenne! She listens to every customer and has been tirelessly working to strengthen weak areas and create a menu that is diverse, unique and delicious. Her phone number is on the menu because she so wholeheartedly cares about making Paris West a place that the people of Cheyenne can call theirs! Her staff is incredible as well. She gives them the room to use their creativity and bring a little piece of themselves and their personal history into new recipes, which she is constantly trying and perfecting!
My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new in town so we chose to try the Paris West. We had our server choose two of her favorite entrees so we could experience something different. We had the pull pork grilled cheese with homemade potato chips and the pork loin with mashed potatoes and Dijon gravy. The food came quick and freshly made. We were extremely happy with the food, service, and drinks. We recommend to anyone who wants to try something new! We will be going back for more.
Interesting and unique dining experience in Cheyenne as the City is over run with chain restaurants. This place has some Parishian charm with excellent pastries and crapes and a unique menu. My food selections have been very tasty and the atmosphere here is easy going. A bit pricey but unique. The new owners are working hard to upgrade the entire property and I look forward to seeing it once they complete it.
Excellent service, everyone was attentive and welcoming. Food was amazeballs. Brisket sandwich was the best I have ever had. Full of buttery, savory goodness. The lemon crepes were sweet, elegant in their simplicity. Candied lemon zest inside paired exceptionally well with the flavor of the crepe. 10/10 would recommend!
I was nervous to try this place at first because it’s in the heart of downtown and I personally am not a fan of the area, but after taking my seat the staff was so warm, friendly, and welcoming! The food came out quickly and was delicious! I had the brisket sandwich and it was rich and filling! Such a lovely place to stop by and have a meal and drinks with a friend! I’ll definitely be coming back!
I ate here the weekend of thanksgiving and had a great time. The meal was hot and smelled fresh when it was brought to me (Cowboy grilled cheese and Tomato Bisque, yum!!). The server, I believe his name was Vano was amazing and took great care of us! We never had empty drinks and he answered any questions we had. I had the house Bloody Mary which was spectacular too! Thank you Paris West for the amazing night out!
We went to Paris West for an early lunch on February 11th. They had a Valentines Day Brunch Special. It was fabulous! The staff was very welcoming. The food was served promptly, hot and delicious. The atmosphere was great. I highly recommend Paris West. We are already talking about what we will order on our next visit! 10 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ive been in before and have not been happy with service or the food. Tonight was the best experience Ive had. They have updated the menu and have some great servers now. Zach was amazing and took very good care of us! Love to see the improvements!
Food is amazing. Homemade savory is the best way to describe it. Chris the manager is super friendly and really helpful. This place has a cool story and don't let the exterior of the building fool you, everything is on point. The place exudes good vibes.
Came here with 12 guys for brunch reservation on Saturday. Bartender Doug was informative and entertaining. Service was prompt and friendly even though it was getting busy. Food was good, sangria was amazing. Definitely would come back.
The experience was awesome. We had a great time. Corey made the whole experience amazing. I loved the charcuterie board; this was delicious. I definitely will be coming back to have more delicious food and great times with friends.
Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. This our second visit. Had excellent service the first go-round but not so much this second time. Hardly ever saw the wait-staff and very little interaction. Giving the benefit of the situation - it was just after a holiday. Soo - - -
We’ve eaten dinner here twice in the last few weeks. Both times have had wonderful food and excellent service. We’ve had the steak & potatoes, pork paillard (which was so good we ordered it the second visit), and the French grilled cheese. Both the French onion soup and tomato bisque were delicious. The tiramisu tart for my husband’s birthday was perfectly balanced! Vano and Audrey were attentive and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!
The meals we had arrived quickly and were well prepared. We'll definitely return to try some of the other French style dishes. The staff was very courteous as well.
This place was good and I think it will be even better next visit. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. The atmosphere would be better if it was a little warmer and if there were some sound absorbing materials, like curtains or rugs to dampen the echo. The food was fresh and tastey.
I really want to like this restaurant and have hopes for it. The front house staff were were great, very eager to please and to listen to your comments. Decor could use some help, it's very industrial, even dimming the lights a little would help. From there things go wrong. First, the menu is chaotic, no one proof read it. I'm sure they have likely corrected it by now, but the way it read it said the beef bourguignon was served over a salad. The salad itself sounded like it was straight out of the '70s, craisins, really? I ordered the onion soup and the beef brisket sandwich. The latter was supposed to be on a baguette, I missed that the sandwiches were all panini using a waffle press. That's a shot out of the late 90's. Neither were executed well. Whoever prepared the soup doesn't know how to peel and slice onions, the tough skins were included. The crouton bread was way too thick and you should never put a heel in. Is someone trying to skimp on food costs? The sandwich was inedible, the bread tough, beef underseasoned. It arrived with a small dipping a jus which was just pan drippings full of grease. I was just in Paris in June, I had better food on Air France in economy.
My family and I visited last night and really enjoyed everything! I had the French onion burger which was great, and the lemon tartlet was wonderful. The service was attentive and the speed was perfect for the occasion.
Absolute amazing!! Ambience was perfect. So many wonderful flavors, presentation of the food was first class and service like none-other! Cheyenne is so blessed to have this restaurant….it will be a go-to for sure. Wyoming is lucky to have Chef Z!
What a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious. We will come back to try other items on the menu. Staff was very friendly and service was good.
I like this place, for sure!! But...food is very good but usually cold by the time we get it. Doug is great, but service can be hit or miss. Before Doug gets going never quite sure who is waiting on you or where they came from. But, everyone is nice and friendly, I always have fun, and Johnny Velvick is wonderful!
This was our first visit, but we'll definitely be back. The food, the drinks, the service was great. And the plans for the entire building will be so great for Cheyenne.
Exceptional service, fantastic food, great drinks! Can't wait to go back.
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! Highly recommend.
Paris West is a must for brunch/lunch in Cheyenne! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was cool, and the service was excellent! We will definitely be going back.
The smashed potato was good as an appetizer, the baked Mac and cheese was very bland.
Also the restroom had only cold water, when I attempted to adjust it to warm, it shot water all over my shirt.
By far the best place to go for a cute date night! Every Wednesday night is a live show from Johnny as well. Highly recommend.
Brunch was Fantastic. Great Food and Great Service!! Even had leftovers to take home.
Very attentive and friendly staff. The french onion stew was incredibly flavorful and the bread for the bowl was amazing with whole cloves of garlic in the dough. Can't wait to see what the talented folks have up their sleeves for brunch and meals made for socializing and sharing! Oh... and our total bill for two was just under $40!
Flawless drinks! Chef is so nice, food was marvelous for the soft opening! Will be back without a doubt. Thank you chef Z!
I have been here more than 5 times with different friends and have experienced both lunch and dinner. I have been impressed every time by the food, staff and atmosphere.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Went there a couple nights ago and had THE BEST French Onion Soup I’ve ever had. And the sangria and service weren’t too bad either. Will definitely be going back!!!!!
Imagine yourself as a simple Numinorian, a blessed child of Ilúvatar but forever forbidden from the undying lands.
Going to Paris West is akin to seeing The Star of Eärendi or being one of the few to travel beyond the sundering seas. It is a gift unknown to moral men. To have a meal there is to be reminded that you live in the kingdoms in exile and never again will the glory of Numinor be restored.
In all reality the place is amazing. The food is easily the best in town, the staff is friendly, and the chef is a pleasure to chat with. What he and his crew are doing is well worth the time and attention of Cheyenne's citizenry.
If I have one criticism it's that the walls could use more sound absorbing material. Conversations during busy times are rough with all the reverberation. None of which takes away from the food or experience.
Dinner and dessert were phenomenal. The French onion soup was a standout, as was the coq au vin chicken ! The crème brûlée was (as my wife called it) “the best food in Cheyenne.” Will be back, for sure.
Came for brunch on Sunday. Food was excellent, and server was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Really loved the feeling of the space too - big bright windows and a modern cozy atmosphere. Just what Cheyenne needed!
My husband saw this new restaurant on Central Ave. We decided to give it a shot. We both loved it! Loved the homemade ranch dressing! The French Onion soup was the best I’ve ever tasted. Next time I’m having the crème brûlée for an appetizer AND a dessert💜💜 I hope Cheyenne supports this new place - so 😋
My wife and I stopped in on Friday night and had great service. The french onion soup was great and the parmesan beignets were a fantastic unique appetizer.
A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Delicious food and drinks. Portions seemed on the small size, but very filling. I didnt need to eat again all day.
My family and I really enjoy the Paris West. Our favorite is the French grilled cheeses. Everything on the menu is delicious!
It is hard to describe how good the food is!!! Table side Bree wheel, chicken coq au vin and crème brûlée are amazing!!! Chief Z is the best!
The sangria was AWFUL. Tasted like cough syrup, my friend and I both ordered one and we barely drank any because it was bad. It didn’t taste anything like sangria! Please learn how to make actual sangria! The rest of the food and service were good…
The best French onion soup onion ever. Onions and rosemary marinate well! I ordered a second bowl. ❤️
Chef Z is amazing!! A well known Aspen trained chef here in Cheyenne is a great thing!! Broke my heart to hear a competitors employees left bad reviews of this place. The food and cocktails were 1st rate and we will definitely be back!! Cheyenne needed a place like this badly.
The food is absolutely amazing!! Chef Z came and talked to us! Absolutely will be back!!!
This restaurant is not officially open but ran some great specials during CFD. I can’t wait for the official opening because the food was FANTASTIC— very fresh and beautifully presented salad, YUMMY main course!! Cute interior! So happy for a new locally owned place here!
I have now eaten there twice and the food is fresh, creative and cooked just right. Nice friendly help.
The food is delicious and inventive. A nice change. Drinks are fabulous. Very fairly priced.
Still settling and dialing it in. Great direction, staff, and the food is incredible. By December, this will be the shining star of Wyoming if not the West!
The food is not the same kind of food every other place has. It's different and very excellent. I'll go again.
The waiter we got was very funny and very enjoyable.
He made us comfortable n was able to chat with him.
Went here on a whim and it turned into a GREAT DATE! We couldn't decide what we liked better! Everything was AMAZING! The food and the service were out of this world! 10000% going back!!
Great experience for a great cost. The brie is giant, the French onion soup is spectacular, lots of table side service.
They are still really new, so working out some issues. However, the food was fantastic, service was good, and they went out of their way to make my mom's surprise birthday party great.
The brisket sliders were great, and the atmosphere is cool. It's a great new addition to Cheyenne.
Food is always delicious and amazing! Love this place!!
Really looking bed the hanger steak and tarts. And the CoreyLynn bar special was delicious!
Ordered the cowboy grilled cheese but it did not come with as much pulled pork as I was hoping for.
Very cute lowkey place. Minor kinks to work out but for the soft opening this place could really go places! Great addition for Cheyenne and I will be coming back!
I took some clients here for lunch, everyone loved the food and the service was amazing! New fav in Chyenne!
Great food, very attentive service. Short menu but it is not complete yet. Can't wait to see the complete menu. We will be back soon.
Food was excellent, good blend of savory morsels and i loved the lemon tart.
Great service. Wonderful food. Small, quick menu for CFD. Can't wait for full menu and what to come!
Food was great, service was great! We’ll be back!
Had the cobb salad with roasted chicken...excellent.
Our meals were very tasty, the service was excellent.
Flavors were excellent..service good..we'll be back
Great new breakfast spot in Cheyenne
Worth checking out, the Butter Pecan cake was AMAZING
Great menu. Great food!
Amazing food , service and atmosphere! What a gift for Cheyenne foodies!
Very good place very nice people. Good service. The food was great. I definitely recommend coming here
Amazing atmosphere! Great food! You have to check it out!
Nice place, friendly staff, and amazing crème brûlée. Can’t wait for the full opening!
So delicious👍 …
Wonderful lunch
Great staff and great food!
My friend and I came here for Sunday brunch and had a great experience. The atmosphere is very fun and the food is tasty, especially for the price. Brunch places tend to be expensive so I thought $13 for their quiche of the day was a good price. My friend had the pork carnitas skillet and it was excellent. Will definitely come back! Service was great.
I liked the simple but creative lunch menu, they had a sandwich that I do not find a lot in Cheyenne (The Cuban) one of my favorites . I did also enjoy the Spicy Beef Soup, simple but delicious, and I really liked the homemade Dill flavored potato chips. Over all it was a great lunch. I will go again and try the Dinner menu.
Prices are on the higher price.
We were visiting from out of town and had the pleasure of stopping here for dinner. The drinks were so yummy and the food was flavorful and fairly large portions. We didn’t have room for dessert but the tables around us indulged in dessert and everything they ordered looked great. Highly recommend!
I happened to eat here during restaurant week, (which I didn't know about prior to walking into the restaurant) and WOW, I'm so glad I did!
From beignets with jalapeno jelly, to the rib pot pie, and finishing off with a tastylicious lemon torte, I have been thinking about this restaurant ever since I left and can't wait to go back!
The service was great, the food was delicious, and the Restaurant Week prices was of course a bonus!
My friends and I went for drinks and appetizers after work yesterday. Chris, the front of the house manager, made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience! The drinks were so good and the roasted carmalized brussel sprouts, and nachos with waffle fries were amazing Love the vibe too, such a cool place! ! We will definitely be returning!
Great food, Top notch service.
Chris is outstanding the Manager and serves you like your family. We will be going back outstanding food nice to see a great restaurant here in Cheyenne. We had the Easter special.
