The best pizza in Cheyenne, hands down. Their dough is fresh, which means you can reheat it in the toaster oven and boom you're in business. Got the 18in cheese pie, because people from New York understand a real Pizza doesn't need anything on it but sauce and cheese. That's the true measure of a pie. Fed two with 3 slices left for later.. Friendly hospitable service, go get a pizza.

I wasn’t sure what to order so I asked few questions to the owner? started yelling at me like “why don’t you know what you want?!?!”(He didn’t said that but he was maaad didn’t want to explain what they have) in front of the pizza they are selling without mask. I really wanted to try their pizza but we just left. A year later: we tried here again because I heard the owner changed. I don’t the employee is still here, but he wasn’t here today and every employees here was really nice! And the food was really good!! I think this is my favorite pizza shop in Cheyenne.

Great community oriented local place! Their food is fantastic and the owner loves and takes care of his customers! We had planned a kid's birthday party in the park and got rained out. He let us come in and use his back room at no charge. (No charge for the room as long as we were ordering food.) It was incredibly generous, especially because it was *SO *very* last minute. Add in that the food here is awesome and you have a winning combination! Now if only they would add a meatball cannoli to the menu I'd be in heaven!

Best pizza in Cheyenne. Moved here recently and after touring the city and pizza this is the best. If you love thin crust NY Style pizza. Prices are reasonable. Best thing to order is cheese or pepperoni (and from other places we order supreme) but the simple pizza is the best here. Too many toppings make a soggy crust.

I am surprised I haven’t rated them before, but I crave their meatball pizza. I don’t live in Cheyenne (thank Christ) but this pizza made Wyoming tolerable. And that’s a heavy lift.

Have been many times before and since COVID. No more dining in of course, Ableto order at window. If you love NY style pizza pies you’ll be delighted IMO. PERFECT amount of sauce and cheese ratio. Very fresh. Awesome they have slices to go of several varieties .

Best pizza and best Italian cuisine in Cheyenne. There is not a lot of competition in the area but having spent a few years living in New Jersey, this food is nearly as good as anything I could get back there. A little pricey but you are definitely getting what you're paying for. Try the Joe's Favorite Pizza.

A great local place to stop in for a slice of pizza or a pepperoni roll. The service is fast and the food is great. But if you want something special, go when the restaurant in the back is open. You get a full Italian menu with lots of great options. The bread that comes with olive oil with your salad is delicious. Just be careful not to fill up on that! My favorite entree is ravioli with vodka sauce-yum! And the desserts! Homemade cannoli is the best! This restaurant is hidden in the corner of a strip mall but it is so good. A favorite of locals!

I grew up in New Haven Ct and we had 2 of the top pizza joints in the country, Pepe's and Sally's pizzerias. This is without doubt the best Italian I've have found in the area. Do not just go and grab a slice (though that's good), go to the restaurant, their food is fabulous. Best keep secret in Cheyenne

Absolutely one of the best calzones I've ever had. George playing guitar softly in the corner added to the ambiance...which was already very nice. Great decor. The wait staff was very helpful. I met the owner, Joe...from New Jersey. He was very friendly and proud that he used nothing but the best ingredients in his food. I have to agree. The place is kind of hidden away, but it's worth seeking out and dining at. You won't regret it.

Coming from the east coast, this place brings a certain nostalgia. Between the pizza by the slice, jersey accents, and sports memorabilia this place makes me feel right at home. Their prices may not be a dominoes price, but their pizza isn't dominoes either. Just order, sit down and strap up for some delicious food because this is definitely one of the best pizza joints in cheyenne and maybe even Wyoming.

Home of one of the more authentic Italian eateries in Cheyenne, you can get a lot of different dishes at Mondello's. Sadly, I mostly go here for the bread, which is amazing, and the soups, which are just as good. The actual entrees are always very hit and miss. They can be amazing or just not very good. The atmosphere is very nice and inviting. It's worth going to at least once to see if it suits your fancy.

This is my favorite place now in Cheyenne! Came to visit a friend and she took me and my daughter here. The authentic atmosphere Ricardo who sang in Italian was amazing! Our waitress and food was so good so delicious!!!! We had chicken with lemon sauce, penne pasta, spaghetti, pizza, cheese ravioli, and garlic knot, chocolate eclairs, canoli, lemon chili cake! Totally recommend this place and the owner so nice and friendly thank you!!

The food was pretty good and probably the best of its kind for Cheyenne. My only gripes are refills aren't free and it seems like less meat is used as compared to the past. There is also a sign that the restaurant portion is permanently closed taped in the window as you walk in.

From the water to the appetizers and all the way up to the food.. all I can say is never have I had food so satisfying. I have nothing better to say than perfect!! This restaurant has become our favorite. These other reviews must be outsiders. For Cheyenne it is very good. Why would you go to a restarunt and demand to have food in 20 minutes. The point is to sit, savor you wine and bread and enjoy your meal.I think expectations play in this a lot. We were there last night and the waitresses were overwhelmed. Someone called in sick. The owner and host pitched in as they could and we still made it to the play on time. We'll be returning.

The authentic Italian experience. The menu is vast and the options numerous, all of them wonderful. The seafood is fresh and full of flavor, and the sauces are very unique and delectable. The desert is also handmade, nothing generic and all original. There was even a fellow, Ricardo, who sang opera during our meal. He comes around and explains the piece before singing as well.

I've lived on the east coast most of my life, and lived under the rather accepted theory that good pizza only comes from there, because no one else seems to be able to make good pizza outside of the New Jersey, New York city area, and I've been a truck driver for many years and I've tried nearly everywhere I heard was "New York style" and was sadly proved right each time. However, I was happily proved wrong when I stumbled upon L'Osteria Mondello in Cheyenne, WY. I constantly send my fellow drivers in their direction, especially if they used to reside on the East coast. L'Osteria Mondello is my home away from home and even competes firmly with the pizza I grew up on in my home town. If you have only lived in this area, you NEED to visit this pizzeria so you can find out what good pizza tastes like.

The food was very good and the servers nice but we did have an issue. Someone approached our table and informed us he intended to sing us a song. I was there with a business colleague to discuss business so asked the crooner to please not and thanked him. "Excuse me?" he asked. I said again no thank you to which he asked "What am I supposed to tell my boss?". I said I didn't care what he told his boss, we'd rather not hear him. He replied "I'm just going to stand over there and sing anyway", gesturing to a spot maybe ten feet away. And he did. Loudly, and not very well, being sure to sing AT us about half the song. Rude and disrespectful to us, two men in work uniforms who obviously didn't need to be serenaded. It happened a second time about ten minutes later. My advice, get pizza in the front and not deal with him or get your meal to go... unless you like being sung at whether you like it or not. We both felt disrespected and will not return.

L'Osteria Mondello, Small World. I used to work here. That was close to 2 years ago. It's hard to describe the sensation of working in a place like this. It's small and busy but genuine. It's like the difference between a good suit and a cheap suit. I started out here as a dishwasher. I would work here for reasonable hours and reasonable pay but the thing I will always remember is the people. Joe and Cesare, Chanrda Moore, Ashley- The pizzeria was a bustling plethora of soul. I had solved so many problems here and caused some by accident. I have made the pizzas. I have cleaned the freezers. I have seen the heart of L'Osterio Mondello and sometimes the pressure can be a bit too much for folks but there Is a flaming, beating heart to be found here. The pizza is solid. Definitely a cut above other chain brands. When there is enough staff? The restaurant Sings like the hills of Arcadia. It's vibrant, rich like song. Sure the place has had some water problems and as someone who had to clean out the occasional Wasp Nest, I can speak with certainty that Joe Mondello, "Iron Joe" as I used to call him, is going to run his restaurant for the rest of his life or die trying. That's how you know it's authentic. I cannot recommend Mondello's enough to casual people. Come in. Experience the truth and all that soft gospel. Only one pizza place exactly like it in Cheyenne for all it's worth. Until I find a better, actual sit down pizza joint, Mondellos will always stand out in my mind as the genuine article.

Mondello's is our "go to " place when we want Italian food. We lived in Naples, Italy for 3 years back in the 90's and Mondello's is the closest thing we have found to authentic Italian food in Cheyenne - or even in surrounding communities including Denver. The menu is quite varied and the food quality is consistently superb. We also like the fact that we can carry on a conversation during dinner without having to shout at each other.
