Wonderful food. Do not let the outside of the building fool you, the inside is clean, quiet, very nice atmosphere. The people that served us were wonderful, polite. The food was absolutely excellent, with lunch prices from 11-3! The portions are very generous, and we will not hesitate to come back again.

I'm not mad I ate here, but I'm not happy either. Their egg drop soup was greasy and full of red pepper flakes (it was orange!). The veggie lo mein was simple and okay, but I wouldn't go back for it. Overall just lackluster.

To start off, I messed up and thought I was placing a delivery order instead of pickup. Called and they immediately fixed it with no questions asked. There is only two personal preference complaints, but not enough to drop below 5*. I ordered to go sodas and I thought they’d be bottled, but they were fountain with ice, had I known I would’ve ordered without ice but not a big deal. Second, I ordered the combo beef/shrimp pad Thai. So far I’ve only counted 3 shrimp. Otherwise, amazing experience and will definitely order again!

The owner is so nice. She was teaching her daughter how to do the cash register. So refreshing to see a child learning their family business. She was dressed beautifully and looked so professional. Since we are tourists we asked for recommendations and the Beef Fried Rice was enough for two just like she said. The egg roles were excellent. We will return on our next trip!! Great Job!!!

Service is friendly and the wait was average (15-20min). Food was hot when we got it home and portions were fair. I noticed that everyone who walked in was confused were to go to be seated, a sign stating where to go would be helpful. I will return, the almond chicken is delicious

We have ordered from GF several times, most often for delivery. The food is always hot when it arrives, the order is always accurate and it tastes good. In addition, we usually receive it within 30-40 minutes of placing our order. Definitely recommend!!

Started off the Crab and Cheese Wontons. They were a lot smaller than I’m use to, but they gave us like 10 of them so it evened out. The flavor was pretty good and they were cooked to the perfect crispiness. Next was the egg drop soup. Good flavor and the little chunks of meat were a nice touch. Finished with Sesame Chicken and fried rice. The Chicken was fried to a light crispiness and the meat was cooked perfectly. The sauce was light, but flavorful. A little sweeter flavor than most sesame chicken dishes I’ve had, but it was really great overall. I definitely recommend trying it out. Also, friendly and quick service.

A quick addition to what I've already written. If you're interested in a group sized meal, I absolutely recommend the Mongolian Dinner. It is fantastic. Not only is there an abundance of food, but the variety is impeccable. I would describe the dishes in detail but that would take away from the anticipation. The Asians specialize in mild but flavorsome soups. That's where you start, and it sets the mood for what you're going to follow up with. With soup comes a variety of appetizers; egg rolls, shrimp and a kind of crab cake. Don't avoid the hot mustard! You only need a dabble, and it brings out flavors you'll otherwise miss. But this is just the start, and it's where I'll leave you. You won't regret it.

As an absolute lover of Asian food...I have to rate this establishment 4 stars. Before you bite my head off, let me elaborate. First of all, I called on a Tuesday afternoon and they said delivery time was going to be an hour and a half....WHAAAA??? Now im not from the area (From Wisconsin) but that seems like an awful long time for food. So i called them and asked if i could pick my order up. She said yes!!!! i could pick it up in 15 minutes instead of 75. All the while she was being just as friendly as another human being could be. I didnt ask for her name but I will be ordering again before I leave for WI in a week. Now for the food. I decided not to stray from my regular order. "general chicken, small shrimp fried rice, one egg roll, and an order of crab ragoon". I was surprised when she said I had to order four egg rolls instead of 1 or 2. The least amount of egg rolls you can get is 4. Now for the same amount in price, you can get an order of 6 Vietnamese rolls. I decided to do this instead since ive never tried them. LISTEN TO ME...DON'T DO THIS! the rolls taste like sweaty feet (NOT an exaggeration) Everything else was freaking delicious. the shrimp fried rice was LOADED with shrimp. the crab ragoon was soooo good...one of the best ive ever had. lastly, for the main course, the General's chicken was.... It was standard...i love spicy food so I didnt mind this. but for people who are not used to spicy, I'd order with a partner so ya'll can share the heat... Just subtracting one star for the sweaty sock smelling Vietnamese rolls. It might have been the sauce that came with it....but when dipped in it...I had to switch the sauce to sweet and sour. WILL be visiting this place again <3

Food was made fresh and staff was friendly. Lots of lunch specials to choose from and priced well. We got garlic wings, beef on a stick, Mongolian beef and twice cooked pork, and meal came with cup of soup as well. Food was not spicy, and also I'm used to food being a little bit sweeter so that was a change. It was a good meal, but I think I prefer sweeter and more spicy flavor. I would go again and maybe order dishes like orange or sesame chicken for the sweeter taste.

Ordered the orange chicken and spicy garlic beef the food had great flavor. The egg rolls are more like spring rolls but again good flavor and crisp. That crab cream cheese wantons were great with flavor but I wish their was more filling. Overall I will definitely be back to eat again.

We've always had great meals from here although the pad thai is not my favorite. Service during lunch is fast if you need a bite during your lunch hour. My personal favorite is the cashew chicken. It's always fresh with quality ingredients.

Ordered from this restaurant for lunch. The food was excellent but it took almost an hour to get it delivered. I recommend eating here as the portions are generous and the prices reasonable. They have great customer service as well but the delivery times are a little long.

I enjoyed the food. My friend had the beef and broccoli. I had sesame chicken. I like mine fried crispy, this was not. It did not taste as if it had just been prepared; was warmish so I'm thinking some of their dishes are cooked ahead of time and sit in steam holders. I say this because I'd barely started my soup when my plate of food was delivered to the table. The hot and sour soup was delicious. I would go back, but earlier. For a first time, my impression was that it's ok. It was dark inside and only one booth by a window, if that matters to one.

We love eating there; the food is wonderful, flavorful, and the portions are so big you always have leftovers for later. We were in the mood for Chinese food and read good reviews about this place so we decided to try it. We ordered takeout. Included in our order was chicken and broccoli. Cherry chicken, hot and sour soup, and seafood soup. The soups were delicious - flavorful and warming. My husband enjoyed the chicken and broccoli with fried rice. The cherry chicken was not spicy as indicated on menu which was a disappointment to me. It was good, but I was really looking forward to the heat along with the sweet.

One of our favorite places to eat in Cheyenne because of the value. The food is pretty good and the portions are very large. We love the value and great staff. I believe the hot and sour soup is one of the best in Cheyenne. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We always have leftovers when we eat here, which makes for great snack or another meal later (we like to eat dinner here and then snack on leftovers later while watching a late movie at home). Pros: Good food, big selection, good service, good atmosphere, great value, room for larger groups (we came with over 15 once). Cons: Somewhat typical Chinese food choices (food doesn't seem fresh made, same as most restaurants, but still good), and the parking lot needs work and it looks a little rough from the outside. Prices: aprox. $8-$15 (some plates may be a bit more). We usually get the Good Friends combination dinner for about $11 a plate (lunch is much less). I think it includes: choice of soup, choice of rice, egg roll, side (usually lo mein for us) sweet and sour pork (full plate), and your choice of entree (from a large selection). Yes, that is a lot of food, and in my opinion a much better value than a buffet because you can take leftovers with you. :-D If our usual doesn't sound like something you like, don't worry there is a very large selection on their menu. While the quality could be a bit better, it is a good value and a good date night ambience. Even the kids are happy with the selection of food here.

I think this is the best in Cheyenne.....The food is fresh and the chicken used to make sweet & sour or any other dish is crunchy...not hard, just crisp. I have eaten everything on the luch menu...I have found nothing I do not like. I will say the service is a little slow...Only because there are only two people working, so when there are a lot of folks for lunch....two people can only do so much.....but the service is always with a smile. Also, the hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had. I bring my friends here and now they all go on a regular basis.

Our favorite Asian restaurant in Cheyenne. Well prepared food, reasonably priced, and quick service. Even when it has a lot of people in it, it is still quiet. We can easily converse… There lunches include a choice of about a dozen main courses, fried rice, steamed vegetable, soup, egg roll for $9-10 (2018).

Searching for mouth-watering cuisine around the city was part of my daily life in China. I'm very picky about the foods. In Cheyenne Wyoming, (I must admit that we don't have a lot of choices here) this place is definitely standing out among other Americanized Chinese restaurants. A few days ago I placed an order for something very special, the dish was top-notch, absolutely delicious and presented so well. If this restaurant locates in Denver Asian populated area, it could be a successful business.

Awesome!!! Was stuck in Cheyenne in a hotel due to snow storm road closure. Pulled up after they had locked up for the night, Tim opened the door and they made me some great food. Had been driving through snow all day and all I wanted was some warm good takeout, thanks guys!!!!! BTW, some of the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had, and I lived in Hong Kong for 3 years. Everything was really top notch.

Just ate here. Im so happy we ignored any less than stellar reviews. When youre new in town, you never know if youll find decent chinese food...and this food was GREAT! Made to order but super fast. Large portions that we could order a few and share. It was quiet inside and unassuming from the outside, and usually I have a policy of "if it isnt packed at a busy meal time, dont bother", but this shouldnt be passed up. :)

The food here is great. I am glad to see that Cheyenne has some culture after all. My only grievance with this place is that they use MSG in their food. You can always ask them to not put it in yours, but I think it will end up in the food anyway.

I tend to be very picky about what I get from Good Friend. Mainly because while Good Friend is ok, it isn't what I would say is amazing. The food tends to be over fried. This makes what would be a good dinner just a bit off. They have a nice special for lunch, where you can get a small entree, a cup of soup and wonton as well. The place is not bad, it's just not my favorite.

The plating is beautiful and you never leave hungry. Their crab wontons are delicious and not greasy. The management and staff are wonderful.
