I was a little confused because the website said buffet. But they no longer do buffet. A little concerned because I was the only one eating in. I decided to eat anyway. They did have a few to go orders while I was there. The food was very good. Portions are nice size. Even made a purchase to go for my kids. Togo was nice portions and boxed nicely. Just wish they would have remembered the hot mustard! Definitely will go again.

I ordered through Door Dash and I messed up. The order was for pick up, not delivery. I called the restaurant, they gave me a number to call Door Dash. Called and got a refund. I ordered again (through Door Dash app) Called the restaurant and told them I reordered. They said they would include a egg roll at no charge. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. I'd give the overall experience 5*****

Excellent Chinese food. General Tsos chicken was great. The chicken fried rice was well cooked, and moist. Overall a great experience. Delivery was fast and staff as well as the driver were very friendly. Definitely would recommend this place.

VERY FAST AND ACCURATE TAKE-OUT SERVICE! The food was Hot and tasty. The Customer Service was Top Notch. The only reason I didnt give FULL stars is because my General Tso Chicken was a little dry. It could have used a bit more sauce. Had we been able to Dine-In, I would have asked for more, but since Covid has taken its toll, We had to Take-Out and I had to settle for what we got. Everything else was perfect! Definately recommend this kitchen for single to family orders! Something for EVERYONE!

Found this gem…if you want great Chinese food, this is THE place. I ordered 2 items - Garlic shrimp & scallops and Hunan beef, both very tasty and spicy good!!! And the price is very reasonable. Would definitely come back maybe one more time before I head back to CA!

This is one of the best restaurants in Cheyenne and I'll tell you why. Reliability. If you want hot and tasty food delivered by friendly people then you can't really do much better. I've ordered here maybe 20 times in the last year that I've lived in Cheyenne and they've managed to maintain their high standards throughout that time. On a personal not I'd like to thank the team at Golden House for helping me today. I recently had surgery on my throat and got home from the hospital and realized I didn't have any ice. Well without any complaints at all they managed to deliver a large container of ice for me. So thank you, Golden House. I appreciate it.

They delivered to me nearly 6 miles away after an astonishing blizzard. The roads weren't fully plowed, but they're one of the only places delivering after I searched through google, doordash, and uber eats. Even considering the road conditions, they delivered to me in under 30 minutes & the gentleman was walking a block away in the snow to deliver it!!!! Great customer service & delicious food!!

Food here is always excellent!! I am a frequent deliver orderer, expect a delay because they are really popular. I love this place, best take out in Cheyenne. The owner is always friendly and remembers my order. I’m originally from a big city and no this is not the “best” place I’ve ever had, however I do appreciate that it is here. Cheyenne has limited options, they are easily my favorite restaurant in town. Give them a try and call expecting over an hour delivery time and you’ll be fine. Keep up the great work Golden House!!

I have been a regular for about 2 years. I pass through Cheyenne for work. Delivery service has been fast as normal and the drivers are always great. Food is decently priced and the new wontons are great. I decided to go with a couple buddies for the dine-in experience. We were greeted at the door by a Chinese lady. She followed us through the buffet line asking a million questions while being in our face. We were finally able to get our drinks and didn’t see her again for refills. She asked us how we were but seemed annoyed. She seemed pretty demanding and rude when it came time to pay. Horrible customer service.

Ordering delivery was tougher than normal. I asked for lo mein with one of my plates and never got it, and two orders of egg rolls that never came. This all could have been a non issue if she would've just repeated my order back to me. I felt like an inconvenience once she had my card number she hung up on me. I did call back after my meal and received a "credit" for my egg rolls for my next visit. Delivery driver was quick and I tipped him accordingly. Great food. Won tons were amazing.

Their food is always hot and yummy. Best wonton soup I’ve ever had. The broth is rich and the wontons are delicious all on their own. Good crab rangoons. They are always very nice on the phone. We found our go to Chinese spot in Cheyenne. We first went to another spot, and we seriously had to just throw $40 worth of food away. Not to mention golden house is extremely fairly priced with large portions. From what I understand they have new ownership. I’m not sure how it was before but now it’s A+++

It was really cool when I called today and they knew my address without me saying it. What sorcery! Lol. I was told 45min-60min for my order to be delivered, but they are always so fast. I was eating my food less than 40 mins after calling. Everyone I've interacted with has been so nice. It's the only place we order from. The pork spring rolls are so good! The only thing I don't like is the fried rice...too much soy sauce. It's definitely worth the extra $3 for the veggie lo mein which is super delicious. :)

Amazing food and awesome staff! They're friendly, very fast getting food out, and they've never disappointed. Great sized menu, all cheap and delicious. Been going since I moved here in 2013 and it's been my favorite stop in town since then. Recommend it to anyone who loves Chinese food.

This was our first visit (2/3/2019) to this establishment and we are very happy we tried it. We went with familiar items you can get at most Chinese restaurants. We started with Wontons. Not the normal looking wonton, but very good. We had fried rice and sesame shrimp. We loved it! We will be back! The only thing that we saw that we didn't like, was that the soy sauce containers were not full and dirty.

Had delivered to hotel, very prompt delivery thru grubhub. Food was hot and packed nicely. I would recommend everything we had. Bbq pork fried rice Large, crab wontons, and vegetable spring rolls. Would order from here again, but I am from out of town. ☺️

Their food is DELICIOUS, very flavorful and always fresh! They have large portions and it is a great value. We have eaten here or had delivery from here over 15 times and they are always kind and friendly. We have tried most of the other Chinese food places around, but these guys are THE BEST IN CHEYENNE!!!

I just absolutely love this restaurant! There delivery time is exactly when they say it will be or earlier. There food is great, prices are awesome, and the portions are huge. You get what you pay for here and I highly recommend eating here.

Golden House holds the rare distinction in Cheyenne in that it's one of the only Chinese restaurants in Cheyenne to deliver. It has a standard lunch buffet, and a standard dinner menu. If you use them for delivery, then expect to be quoted an hour to an hour and a half for delivery. I've never really timed them to see if that holds true. As far as the food. The food tends to be less flavorful than I like. I tend to go for chicken in garlic sauce, and then another spicy dish if I can find it.

This place is amazing, eat here at least once a week. The outside is a little older, but the food is always fresh and tastes amazing. Recommend Seseme Chicken or Honey Chicken. If you want a little spicy try their Orange Chicken.

Best Vegetarian and Vegan options for Chinese food in Cheyenne. We've been eating here since 2001 and one of the things we appreciate is that they have been very willing to make meatless versions of dishes for us, substiting tofu for the meat protein in almost any dish and being clear about when that is not possible such as soups made with a fish stock, chicken stock, or sauce made with a beef stock. For us this started with being able to get a Kung Pao Tofu, and now we frequently enjoy Vegetarian versions of Singapore Chow Mei Fun, Spicy Basil Tofu with Vegetables, Vegetables Mu Shu with Tofu added, and Vegetable Bean Curd Soup made with a meatless stock and added fresh ginger. There items no longer on the menu which they also make upon request such as Vegetables Egg Foo Yong. A friend like added fried tofu so while their is a small added charge for the added tofu it still remains a bargain. They cook the tofu either fried or soft per your stated preferences. Likewise if you want something Vegan, just let them know to leave out egg. It's little more challenging to navigate the lunch buffet for meatless items so it may be best just to order from their lunch menu. Sometimes, not always, they have offered to let us get the buffet and share a meatless lunch entrée if there weren't but one or two meatless items besides a soup or spring rolls on the buffet. Don't count on them doing it that way but it's okay to ask. From the beginning with a different owner in the past they avoid using MSG, and offer a "healthy menu" which uses less oil and less salt. Truth is those version ate also less tasty but if you are trying to be more careful about what you are eating they are there and better than most other places with similar options. While the family and the servers frequently speak limited English they are going to serve Americanized versions of Chinese cooking which still is among the better outside of San Francisco or New York. They strike a balance between their native China and Wyoming, doing it well and try to accommodate customer preferences as much out of sense of hospitality as business savy. This is a real bargain for eating out with most dinner entrées or lunch plates under $10 in 2017. Portions are generous. We share an entrée bring home the remaining half, and have a meal to share as "leftovers". They used to have brown rice but no longer do due to a combination of lack of requests for it and no doubt costs. If it's something you would like, ask, even if they don't have it, it let's them know it's some customers would like to see return to the menu. Golden House offers tasty vegetarian and vegan options in an unpretentious atmosphere. It is located in downtown Cheyenne across the street from a city parking garage and usually there is also street parking available nearby. If there is something you would like and you don't see it on the menu or if you need a dish prepared in a different way, ask.

Surprisingly good Chinese food with a laid back atmosphere. The place was pretty empty when we came by just after the lunch buffet closed. Had to wait a bit for service, but we enjoyed the food.

Food is great, but the hot and sour soup tastes like dirt! Literally! I gave it a few years before trying it again, and loved the food, but extremely disappointed that one is my favorite soups that is expensive is going to waste!

It's ok, the food is alright but I think they use to much MSG in there food. The lobby is to dark and having to find the restroom can be daunting. If you want to have a ok meal and like dark places to go. This is the place.

Great place, in for a visit with my Aiman and got Chinese to go for the whole family. Was very happy with the food. Everyone else also enjoyed it. Had the Generals chicken, shrimp lo main, shrimp pad tai, and wonton/egg drop soup.

This is my number 3 for Cheyenne. Good food, but not up to par for some of the other locations like Good Friends or Twin Dragon. No buffet on the weekend but I will say that it is worth a shot. Just dont make it a habit. Its a good break from the other styles of chinese in Cheyenne.
