Reviews of Anong’s
The dining area is very clean, decor and atmosphere are unique and laid back, and there are plenty of great options on the menu. The bathrooms are clean. It's a kid-friendly place, as well as accessible. If you're vegan or vegetarian, you should be able to find something you can eat, or ask them to modify dishes. They seemed very accommodating.
I had the Kee Mao with Tofu. Extremely flavorful! Easily the best Thai food I've ever had. The portions were so large, I had to take some home in a box. Pricing is more than fair. Iced coffee was delicious. Staff was friendly and dedicated to making sure we understood what we were ordering, and helpful in selecting modifications to fit our dietary needs.
I'll be driving from my state to WY just to visit this place again very soon! If you're passing through, please do yourself a favor and stop in.
Crazy great thai food in Wyoming. Yes. It is possible. Right here. Prepare to be stunned. I have had Thai in New York, Chicago and LA and this is just as good, if not better. The building does not look like much, but what is inside is delicious.
I had the spicy fried rice and the spicy basil chicken. Great food. Healthy portions, sweet and savory sauces in the best Thai tradition
Stop in if you are passing through. You will not regret it.
Food was great. Had the yellow curry and egg rolls. Both were cooked as expected. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly.
Best Thai food that we've found in WY so far! Will be eating here a lot!❤❤
We drove from Nebraska to eat lunch here. It was fabulous! We have eaten a lot of Thai food across the US and this is a top contender. The staff were incredibly sweet and genuine. They made sure my vegetarian restrictions were met. The portions were huge we could have 2 more meals from our lunch. The Thai iced tea was great too! The vegetable egg rolls were the best I’ve had!
Tasty Thai food and very generous portions (you'll likely take some home). Nice atmosphere and staff.
amazing thai food, shocked it was so good in wyoming!! chicken soup before the food was the best!!
Absolutely wonderful! Entree portions are incredible and taste delicious, one of the best Pad See Ew's I've had in a while. Husband loved his Pad Thai. Fried green tea ice cream was really good too (definitely good to share). Would appreciate a bigger beer selection. Clean dining room, fast kitchen.
This place is easy to get to. In a quaint old building of the neighborhood. The food was all fresh and easily seasoned. The sa-tay was good as the peanut sauce carried the dish, plan to use it. We would go back next time in town.
Chicken pad Thai and crab rangoons, place is always clean with fast service. Generous helpings!
Absolutely love the food here. It's delicious compared to most other similar restaurants. The food is made fresh and more flavorful! Every time I come into Cheyenne, I make sure to stop in.
Friendly staff, quick service, and top notch food.
I'd absolutely love to see an Anongs come to Casper!
I'm not as familiar with this type of cuisine as I would like to be. The food was delicious and the service was above average. The menu has a whole lot of items to choose from. boba tea can be had here!
If i could afford to eat out more I'd definitely visit this place much more often than I have. Thanks to my friend I had a fantastic lunch.
Two tiered menu, moderate and inexpensive. Both are excellent and ample portions. Meals well spiced but not overly; little to no sugar. Might be the best crab Rangoon we've had since a trip to a high end restaurant in Denver.
I really liked the fresh veggies, but the sauce was like something you could pick up at grocery store. The tofu in the spring rolls had a very unpleasant taste. I took 2 bites and couldn't eat anymore. The peanut sauce was ok at best. Service was really friendly and fast, but the food needs work.
What a gem this place is! This is the kind of food Cheyenne needs more of. I’ve eaten at their Rawlings location which is well-reviewed and this location is just as good. I got the pad kee mai and it was super flavorful!
This place was Fantastic! Better than Thai food we've found in Fort Collins or Loveland area. The food that want spicy is HOT! but you don't loose the flavor, which is always a danger. And the food you don't want spicy is just flat fantastic!
Can't even explain how excited I am to find such great food in Cheyenne. It's really a rare treat!
We almost left before ordering because it was a cold day and every time the door opened the cold air chilled us to the bones. We did not anticipate getting our order taken or our food delivered quickly. But we sure are glad we stayed.
Who knew that the best massaman curry our little taste buds have ever had the privilege of savoring would be found in the middle of Wyoming. It was beyond compare. So good my husband ordered another dish to go.
We usually order the same two dishes any Thai place we go. Pad thai and massaman curry. The pad thai was good but it wasn't anything to write home about. The helpings were very generous and so good. Despite having only one server we actually were given our food fairly quickly.
The staff was just the perfect amount of friendly and helpful although clearly they needed more help to attend to the constant stream of people frequenting the place.
Would definitely return. I would have given it two thumbs up but they were too busy shoveling food into my face.
Ps. Bathrooms were small and I doubt someone handicap could maneuver into it. But maybe the other one was better?
Oh and I almost forgot the best part, the massaman curry comes with a slice of avocado. Taste. Buds. Blown.
So much yummy food here. The chicken and rice soup is amazing Pad Thai is awesome. Yellow curry is delicious Soo much food we always have leftovers
Generous portions, friendly staff. This place always has all the tables filled. Minimal wait time, most definitely worth the wait! A true hidden gem for Cheyenne.
Anong took good care of our 30 people wedding dinner. The food was terrific and everyone found something for them on the menu. The pineapple shrimp fried rice was my fave.
Best Thai for Cheyenne... Don’t compare just enjoy. Spicy fried rice was yummy and had kick. Pad Thai was average, the chicken was a little over cooked. Shrimp tempura plate had tempura style veggies but the shrimp had kind of a coconut shrimp look/taste. Overall craving satisfied.
Delicious food, quick service and good sized portions. Your pad thai will easily feed 2.
Really happy that I dropped in. Quiet atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. I love a great curry dish, and they've got a few different options that are perfect, as well as plenty of other tasty options. Check it out!
Anong's Cheynne was enjoyable- a good experience over all. I have seen the signs for many years and finally got around to trying it. All of the standards are on the menu and the portion sizes are generous. The ambience was about what you would expect, perhaps a little round around the edges, but I was there for the food so it worked out fine for me.
Great food and VERY large portions. Enjoyed several different dishes and flavors including their fried ice cream.
Staff were great. I'd highly recommend.
We got the food to go because we are on a road trip.
The flavours were amazing. We got many different dishes and we’re satisfied by the taste of all. The decor inside was really charming and stylistic. It was one of my first times trying Thai food and it made me fall in love with the cuisine. From the crispy egg rolls to the Tom Yum soup to the Pad Thai, everything was to our liking.
For Thai food in Wyoming, this is very good. Order extra spicy, 4-5, if you really like spicy. Tofu was a little chewy. Atmosphere was clean and cozy. Very cool decor.
Unique architecture. High ceilings, wide open floor, seating along the walls.
Good service, good food.
Sinful - It would have been sinful if we did not have dinner here. We looked at the reviews, drove up and said, "Hmmmm. This is a real hole in the wall." So we read the reviews again and said, let's do it. The food was awesome and the staff were peasant.
Absolutely delishishness. Yes I made that word up. I had the shrimp and chicken salad and the garden rolls. I have to admit when I saw those huge pieces of tofu, I was expecting not to like them at all. What a pleasant surprise! I could of had 2 orders of these and been full. Oh...the peanut sauce was to die for. And although they were a little slow, the place was packed for pick up orders. The staff was also very nice. I will be back.
Delicious! Great food, crab Rangoon, pad thai, sesame chicken, and curry. Good service. Excellent to-go boxes.
I don't typically take the time to review restaurants but the food here was excellent. Great fresh ingredients and wonderful flavor.
We'll definitely be back.
Delicious food.
I had the shrimp pineapple fried rice and Papaya salad, it was very delicious and the service was also good 👍 I recommend this place to all my friends and family. Go ahead and try they're amazing food it's worth your money.
Great food! The crab Rangoons and pad Thai are truly exceptional. I prefer take out because it isn’t the best dining environment and has the tiniest restrooms, but service is good and food is great.
This place is wonderful!! I am hooked on their Pad Thai with Beef. The flavors are amazing. I highly recommend Anong's if you want the best Thai food in Cheyenne!!!
Outstanding! The food was delicious (we go to Thai restaurants all over the US). The portions were generous, and the spicy was actually spicy, which was awesome and hard to find in the mountain west. We've been to the Rawlins location, which was also wonderful, and we plan to stop in the Laramie location in the next month. Highly recommend.
Tom Yum Shrimp soup is incredible. Order it with Pad Thai. The soup is nearly a meal in itself. Amazing!!! Highly recommend
Tasty Tom kha gah with lots of veggies. Pad Thai with chicken was good.
Delicious did as always, halibut, sesame chicken and yellow vegetable curry
Delicious asparagus with mushrooms dish. The restaurant was busy for a Monday, which I can easily understand given thee quality of the food. Highly recommended.
I got the yellow curry and sesame chicken for take out and both were absolutely delicious! The sesame chicken was crunchy even when I got home to eat it and had actual chicken inside rather than the mystery meat that is normally in sesame chicken. Sad I haven’t known about this place sooner!
I travel quite a bit for work and have eaten at many Thai restaurants. My favorite remains one in my very own town…however, it was quite a surprise to find Thai this good in Cheyenne. Large serving of perfectly cooked and spiced veggies. If I lived here I would be a regular.
Some of the best Thai food in the US. Our server talked me down to a level three hotness (I wanted four) and I am glad she did. 🔥 Our food was plenty hot. We got there at five and the place was packed by six. Don’t forget the coconut ice cream. Yummy. …
We tried a Thai coconut soup which was phenomenally flavorful. My daughters got yellow curry and noodles and devoured it. My wife got the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The service was fast, the staff was friendly, and it was kid friendly! Fantastic find that is different than the chain restaurants!
Came down to Cheyenne for the day and decided to try something a little different. Anong's Thai cuisine fit the bill.
Before I lived in the middle of Wyoming, I was in Portland, Oregon for a decade, a city well known for high-quality restaurants. Anong's Thai cuisine was easily a match for any of the Thai places I visited there, and less expensive to boot.
I had the sweet basil chicken lunch and it was fantastic; came with a delicious soup appetizer, as well as a large helping of rice.
Tldr; Go to Anong's Thai Cuisine and eat!
A wonderful Thai restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anybody, whether they've had Thai food before or not. The food and drinks are both always very good and I've yet to be disappointed by any menu item.
Hole in the wall restaurant. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. Great food and worth the wait. Looks like they may be understaffed right now but you can definitely tell that they are trying their hardest!
I ordered the spicy eggplant with veggies and it was super tasty. My husband got the Pad Thai and also very good. Portions are generous!
Definitely Don’t judge this one by its cover! First time for Thai food and let me just say this place was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! Yummy yummy! I had the Green curry mix with pork and it was fabulous and fresh 👌🏻 …
Awesome flavor and just the right amount of spice!!
This is good Thai food and about the only restaurant in Cheyenne serving Thai. We had the Cashew Nut plate, the Panang Curry plate, the Kee Mao plate and Tom Ka soup. All were very good. The service was great as well.
Best authentic Thai food in town.
One of, if not THE best places to eat in Cheyenne! Order anything on the menu. Nothing they serve will disappoint. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and an inviting atmosphere.
Great every time that I have gone. They are fast and their food is one of the best in Cheyenne. Personal favorite is the sesame chicken, but they have other very fantastic dishes.
I was driving along the I-80 and found this hidden gem in Cheyenne, WY. My family ordered green curry, pad thai and sweet & sour with chichen. All 3 dishes were excellent. They were tasty, generous portion and great price too. Ingredients (both meat and vegetable) looked fresh and well prepared/cooked. Don't be fooled by the look or the location of the restaurant. You won't be disappointed!
Great Thai in Cheyenne! I am a big fan of Anomgs!
The spicy eggplant is phenomenal 😍 and I have to order the mango sticky rice every time! Sooo good. By far one of the best Asian cuisines in Cheyenne. Pad Thai is also delicious.
Best Asian Food in Cheyenne! Great little restaurant with a kind staff and DELICIOUS food 😋 Super customizable meals are vegetarian friendly!
This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredible. Very fresh ingredients. Service was great and very polite. Absolutely recommend. The area doesn’t do this place justice!
Amazing! Came here because of the good ratings, and was not disappointed! For 9 bucks a plate, my girlfriend and I ate great at their buffet. Never been to an authentic Thai place, but everything was rotated well to keep fresh stuff out. Tried a little of everything and it was very unique, and very tasty! 10/10 with rice!
The lunch buffet here is phenomenal but we haven't dined in anywhere since Covid started so I don't know if that's available. Best pad thai in town, hands down. I also love their soup options and noodle dishes. This is a local Wyoming chain and I really love that my money goes to an authentic restaurant owned by a Wyoming family and not a national commercial chain. The location is very convenient if you work downtown too!
Food was cooked well, lots of flavor, much improved since my last visit. Only thing that keeps us from coming more is the lack of air conditioning and almost unbearable temperatures inside! I love the NumTok Beef. Thai Tea is the best in town!
Food is authentic and spicy without going overboard. There is one problem. The smell of the restaurant is less than desirable. It seems whatever solvents they use to clean has a pungent odor, but by the time the food is ready, your nose will acclimate to it.
Wow! This is one of those hole in the wall amazing finds! We had the Panang curry, shrimp pineapple fried rice, and pad see-u. Highly recommend all! Large portions and amazing flavors!
Great food and service. Very clean. Daring cuisine for Cheyenne, so it must be good to stay in business.
I love this place. The ambiance and service is always great! Their Pad Thai is the best around. The prices are really reasonable as well. I have never had a bad meal here and the fact that they do take-out is a huge plus as a busy person. My wife was never a fan of curry but she really likes the Massaman Curry chicken.
Amazing food, full menu suited for anyone's taste or heat preference. Exemplary service. Overall one of rhe best dining experiences in town.
We LOVE the Thai Beef Noodle soup!
Their coconut shrimp soup was absolutely delicious! The only reason they didn't get five stars is because of the odd, wet dog smell inside; it was difficult to eat with it there and their bathroom is rather small. Much like a cubicle. Decent parking and overall, wasn't disappointed with their menu.
Delicious food. We really like this place, but I am only giving it 4 stars because they charged my 11 year old daughter as an adult on the lunch buffet. They didn't ask how old she was, they just assumed she was 13 or older. She is only 11. It cost us an extra $4.50 to eat there today because of this.
I've had numerous Thai dishes here. My favorite is the yellow curry. Pad Thai is a close second. Very nice employees and pretty quick service.
One of my favorite restaurants to go to in cheyenne, such amazing food and staff. The building has such amazing decor, I highly recommend trying out this hidden gem! Also the best Thai Tea in all of Cheyenne!
I was hesitant to try Thai food way out here in Cheyenne but I can honestly say I’m impressed and it’s delicious. The menu seemed a little different (regarding the curry) from what I’m used to but it is delicious. I’ve gotten take-out here twice and it’s been great both times. They give you big portions (so its lunch and dinner for me) and it’s quick and easy. The only two things are 1) it’s on the other side of town, over the bridge, so the first time I went there I was a little worried my gps was wrong and 2) they don’t take AMEX.
Pretty good Thai restaurant in Cheyenne!
Great food. Haven't found anything I didn't like on the menu.
Great quality and tasty food, pleasant ambiance, prompt preparation and a nice + thoughtful server. Definitely recommend.
This is an unadvertised special place. The atmosphere is not fancy but you dont go for the decor. This restaurant is a bargain for the quality of food made to order. The mussels are especially good and the rack of lamb is fabulous at half the price you would pay elsewhere. Dont miss lunch at anongs in rawlings either!
We were impressed with the delicious food and generous portions. The tofu was very authentic! Just like the tofu we had in Thailand. Kids loved the “Thai Fried Rice,” and said it was better than French fries!
We ate at the restaurant in Cheyenne. Although not a particularly attractive place, the food was outstanding and very tasty. Everything we had was delicious. I don't live around here, but if I did I would certainly patronize this place frequently.
They always have amazing food and friendly service. They do an excellent job in knowing their clients as we frequent the restaurant 3 to 4 times a month and they always remember our order.
Great balance of flavors, and even simple things like the white rice stand out with unusually good texture. Meats and vegetables are plentiful and fresh, sauces are lively, service is friendly and attentive. Spice levels are milder than I'm used to for Thai (adapted to local tastes, I suspect) but even with that, it's well-suited to the ingredients. Top notch.
Pretty decent food. Cozy atmosphere. Ordered Pad Thai and Cashew Nut Chicken(a little salty). It came without the cashews. When we asked our waitress if there should be cashews in it she seem puzzled. She said she wasn't sure. We replied 'its cashew nut chicken'. And asked for some cashews to toss in. Another waitress came by and leaned in to check to see if we had gotten cashews or not... Gee, thanks.
Cheyenne's hidden gem. real authentic Thai . Can't go wrong with any of their dishes. the curries are on point , try'em all.
I like this Restaurant, I was very happy when they let customers dine in. I enjoy the Beef noodle soup and they have tasty salads as well. I do highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Very filling at a very fair price.
I used to drive all the way to Laramie from Cheyenne to eat at the Anong's there, because Cheyenne didn't have any good Thai places, and Thai food is my absolute favorite. It was well worth the drive! Now that we have our own Anong's in Cheyenne, I feel like I've died and gone to heaven - no need to travel! Top-notch food at reasonable prices.
Had the yellow chicken curry and it was perfect. Great flavor, speedy service and food was just fire. Will definitely be back.
Awesome food! The duck was cooked perfectly. The service is very Asian, which is not a bad thing if you understand that aspect of the culture. They will only come to your table when you ask, that's just the way they do things. If anything that made the experience feel more authentic to me.
We really liked the food. The staff where prompt.
Always great service and awesome food! I’ve been eating the same two items for years and they haven’t changed a bit. I should explore the menu but that Nam Tuk Beef and Beef Ramen Soup is just amazing.
We've now eaten at this location and the one in Rawlins, and both of them are excellent. The flavors are delicious, the service is very courteous, and the restaurants are clean and well kept. Anong's is one of the very best Thai restaurants we've eaten at anywhere in the country.
Anong's is a diamond in the rough. I never imagined that we would find a Thai restaurant with food this good in Cheyenne Wyoming! What an incredibly pleasant surprise. Their cashew chicken is superb, as is every other dish we've had there. Highly recommend this delightful restaurant.
This is a great restaurant. There were 3 in the party and we each ordered something different and everything exceeded our expectations. We were also quick to be seated and received great service. Can't wait to return to try something else off their menu. This restaurant is a must!!
I love this restaurant never had anything bad from this restaurant 😋😍. I think it deserves a 5 star rating because they are always nice and very fast, but you can tell they actually really care about their quality of food. I also think their prices aren't bad either. …
Took my service dog and went with my parents. The service was good and the food was excellent as always!
Came here based on reviews of others and I am very happy with my choice. I picked the menu option and Food is damn delicious and restaurant is clean and of course you got friendly staff. Recommend to anyone likes Thai food.
Food is consistently good and the service is quick. The staff is always nice. There’s lots to chose from on the menu. The atmosphere is ok especially for a fast tasty meal when traveling
Hard to find good Thai food in Wyoming. This place is the best youre going to find in these parts, but would be closer to a 4 if in NYC. It’s a bit different than what I typically expect when getting Thai foods and has more of a home cooked feel to it which is a plus. Don’t bother with the buffet though. Menu has better options and the portions are enough.
It's kind of a shady neighborhood, but the food was great! I had the massaman curry. The avocado and roasted cashews really took this dish from good to fantastic. I'm from the west coast, and I just found my new favorite pit stop in Cheyenne.
In a word, delicious! So pleasantly surpised to find quality like this in Cheyenne! I had the spicy eggplant and mango sticky rice. Nice wine list. Every bit as good as the DC choices I have at home. Well done, Anong's!
We have several Thai restaurants in Fort Collins, but for a special treat my husband and I drive to Anong's in either Cheyenne or Laramie. Their food is excellent and interesting. I rarely eat buffet style, but at Anong's I can't pass it up - there are so many interesting and delicious dishes to try out. Highly recommended.
An excellent place for oriental food. Their chicken dumplings are outstanding, and their Name Tuk salad is what my wife orders, every time. Their lunch buffet is excellent and at $10, it is reasonably priced.
It used to be better. I have eaten at Anong's for years, starting with the original in Rawlins, and I have always been a huge fan. I have had Thai food in big cities that was nowhere near as good. The last few visits to the Cheyenne Anong's I have noticed a bit of a decrease in food quality. It is still a lot better than most Asian restaurants in Wyoming, but I hope they bring it back to excellence.
Stopped in today. I was craving the Lamb special. As usual it was delish! Also had the Lava Cake. Oh... My... Hot melty, moist, chocolatey goodness!
Place was quite busy today so wait time was up. Staff stayed friendly and hustled best they could.
Very good and flavorful Thia food. And for prices that aren't too crazy for today's standards with good sized portions.
I'm over 800 miles from home and this little gem in a small town is a wonderful find. Food has been authentic and very very good every time we've came. Would highly recommend the Tomka Soup.
Good food, large portions and the chefs know how to add a good amount of heat. Never been dissapointed with any of my orders. Would recommend 10/10 best Thai food around.
This place was quite the welcome surprise for me. It's housed in a building formerly home to Los Amigos, one of my childhood favorites. Once I got passed the sentimental part of a favorite being gone, I found the new owners to have a great thai restaurant hidden on the southside of the tracks. The food is priced well. They run a clean and friendly shop. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star rating is from the feeling they are understaffed during peak hours. I recommend the pad se ew with pork. Kick it up to a three or four star in the heat. Then thank me later.
Very good Thai food for the price you pay.
The buffet, though small, had a very decent selection to choose from, was really good, and only $10. Whenever I come back to Wyoming, I'll definitely be coming back here.
Everything was great! Friendly staff, food was wonderful, dining area was very clean.
Honestly, the best tai food I have ever had 👍 The Spicy Basil, with tofu, and summer rolls, with peanut sauce, was terrific! I would eat it again for breakfast before I leave town, if they were open that early, lol. …
Had the Masaman curry with pork and couldn't recommend this place more. They started us off with a free soup that was amazing and my main dish was a large portion that was absolutely delicious.
Best thialand cuisine . Everything we had was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend and will go back
We have eaten here twice, both tones while on vacation. Same great food both times. Service is great. The food is fantastic! We need more Anong Thai Restaurants in America.
Awesome food and very generous portions
Excellent food and service. If you love Thai cuisine, this is the place to go in Cheyenne. Not a fancy building but don't let that stop you!
Good service, good food. They have a buffet which I want to try sometime but I always order the combination Thai spicy fried rice because I love it and have to eat it every time I go. They do not take AMEX but they take everything else. Wish they delivered.
Polite staff and fast service. Bathrooms are small, but very clean. Probably the best Thai food I have ever had. The only downside is since we are only driving through town, there is no chance of coming back!
My travel companion & I ate at Anong's quite late in the day (8:30 pm). We ordered pad thai & a garlic pork/mushroom saute. The pad thai was quite good. The pork dish was mixed: the sauce & the mushrooms in it were delicious. But we were pretty sure the pork had been cooked in advance then just plunked on top of the dish, because it was cold & kinda gummy. But we were so hungry after a long day of travel we didn't care *that* much. I'd go again.
So good!! We've tried many Thai places, all over the Western US, and this is our new favorite! Generous portions, quality ingredients, and they don't scrimp on the meat. We ordered Panang Curry with chicken, Masaman Curry with chicken, Spicy Fried Rice with pork and Crab Rangons. For $42, the 2 of us had enough for dinner that night and lunch for 2 more days.
Very good food, one of the best restraunts in town. Good service which isn't that hard considering only two tables were occupied in the restaurant.
Still is wierd going to restraunts that are empty because of Covid-19.
Spent the night in Cheyenne while on a road trip. Researching for a place to eat saw Anong's Thai restaurant.
I sent 5 years in northern Thailand eating Thai causine daily, and cook a few favorites at home on a regular basis.
Point I'm making is Anong's is as Authentic as you will ever experience, portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable. People don't realize the time and preparation it takes to maintain and make the vast variety of dishes available. My wife and I have put it on our favorite place to eat when in Cheyenne.
Since we are always curious and we are also interested in culture, so we have tried something completely new.
We were very enthusiastic, there is rarely such a hospitality as we were allowed to experience here.
The food was good, nothing special, but otherwise everything without complaining. Clear recommendation for a visit!
Great atmosphere, clean place. Everything we ordered was flavorful and fresh. Loved the Thai tea. Didn't get it with boba but definitely going back for that.
I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was fantastic, absolutely love those glass noodles and very generous portions. Nice wait staff. Will definitely be coming back.
Well a short distance from my hotel was Anong's. Interestingly there were two closed signs and one open sign. I chose to believe they were open and sure enough they were. It seemd to be of no consequence to them as to the signs. I guess their customers know them well. One of my favorites is Pineapple Fried rice. The dish was very good, and had almost all of the goodies that make up a nice meal. For me it was a good solo dinner. Thanks Anong.
Hidden gem.Loved the ambience and decor. The service was really nice. All the dishes were spot on except the complimentary soup which was bland. Best Thai in Cheyenne.
Best Thai food in Cheyenne. Quick fast service. Call in ahead and come pick up. Pad Thai and crab Rangoon are my favorite. Fresh and delicious
My boyfriend and I love to eat here. We went here on our first real date :) but idk if it was an off day for them but today the service was not the best, and the food was okay nit amazing like the past. I will say that we will eat here again
Love Anongs! I've had Thai food all over the country and this is just as good as what you'll find in much bigger cities. Pad thai is good, spicy fried rice and panang curry are beyond amazing! Highly recommend!
Great value! Great Thai food and reasonable price. There is some mixing of Asian cultural influences, and the area chosen could be better...but on the whole, it's a great place for lunch or dinner.
I have never had thai food until now. This place rocks. The food was so good. The soup they give you to start off with is delicious!!!! Also I hope to try it again.
Wonderful high quality thai food! You get alot of food for your money too! I always come to Anong's whenever I go through cheyenne, rawlins or laramie. I really wish sheridan had an Anong's. They have gluten free options for me too!
The duck is great, portions are massive they know how to do a duck noodle soup. Shrimp was still warm when I got it home. Always happy dining in or picking up.
Anong's is really tasty Thai food. From Boston to Seattle, this place holds its own. The owners own three locations in Wyoming and this one is the best. The masaman curry is delicious and the Thai tea hits the spot. I carry out so often they know my name by my order. İf you want spice you can get spice! Always quick and polite. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting and is quiet even when crowded. Ohh, and on Mondays it's buy one pad thai get one free.
Delicious Thai food, a wonderful Buffet and kind staff make this a must go to anyone visiting Cheyenne or just locals who havent been. Don't be detered by its looks (though they do look quite nice) it is a wonderful restaurant and a great place for a good meal.
I've had my fair share of Thai food from many restaurants around the country, and I find this to be some of the best. Got the benchmark green curry and it was cooked to perfection. Next time I'm in town you'll find me here.
My friend and I had dishes with beef. The meat was naturally delicious without the msg soaked rubber meat most oriental places serve. Delicious fresh ingredients.
Good food! Service isn't that great, they need more waiters. I watched one couple walk in, be seated and then walked out some 20 minutes later for lack of being waited on.
Great customer service, and the food was really good. The food wasn't very spicy compared to thai food I'm used to, but they offered a spice rack to spice it up. Get the thai iced tea! Comparable to good thai food I've had in Washington state.
Such a lovely place to eat and the food is so delicious. Service is really great and I just can't get over the inside decor, they have so many elephant pictures and it's just beautiful. Definitely give this place a chance, I'm sad I didn't sooner.
I cannot recommend this place compared to the Laramie location. I lived in Laramie before this one opened and on visiting it when it did open in Cheyenne, was disappointed. While my memories in Laramie of Anong's are amazing, the first few tries when opened were not stellar in comparison.
Very good food. I deducted 1 star due to the fact that we chose the restaurant because we wanted a buffet. To our dismay, the buffet is only offered for lunch. This disappointing fact is not listed anywhere on google maps or their website. Customer service was also top notch.
This review is for vegetarians.
I loved everything about the restaurant.Right from food, flavour ,ambience, service, hygiene .. everything was soo PERFECT.Veggies seemed freshly chhoped. We ordered vegetarian food and it was mouth watering. A must visit restaurant if you are in this city. Can't wait to go back.
Good sized portions for the price. Tasted delicious and had a good variety for every different kind of diet. Waiting staff seemed a bit off but not real bad. Definitely going back.
There are two places now in Cheyenne to get Thai food, but I would recommend Anongs. Anongs just tries to do Thai food and that allows it to do it well.
Currently they are running a sub $10 Lunch buffet that has a number of choices, or you can chose from a list of entrees. The Entrees go from Noodle dishes, to Currys, to Sesame Chicken.
If you want to try out Thai food in Cheyenne, this is the place to go to in Cheyenne.
Nice ALL you can eat Thai lunch buffet. 3 different soups; multiple appetizers; nice entrees and deserts too. It's reasonably priced.
LOVE this place. There isn't much variety in Cheyenne but this place is something different. FAVORITE place to eat in town. Everything is always fresh and the staff is really nice and always accommodating.
Amazing!! If you like Thai cuisine go here! It’s authentic, service is quick, staff is very kind a hospitable!
Friendly service, slightly above average Thai food... great for Cheyenne Wyoming
Food is ok but a little pricy.
Great Thai place.
Penang curry is excellent. Pad Thai also very good
Amazing food, great prices! I love so many of the dishes, beer selections, and desserts. The staff is friendly and attentive.
I had the pad thai and a side of green curry to try it out and both were awesome! Service was great with refills and ordering a good sized dinner for a reasonable price made it all the better.
Honestly, I've been to Thailand 4 times. This is the best Thai food that I have ever had outside of Thailand. I generally leave Thai restaurants very disappointed in the food, but this was outstanding and I will be back, and back, and back again!!!
Healthy, local, and an abundance of choices. Sure, Panda Express is delicious, but this place has so many more choices and they range from greasy and amazing to healthy and delicious.
Always delicious! Best calamari in town!
The naked shrimp salad was fresh and delicious. Great choice for take out.
The unassuming outside of the restaurant hides a beautiful gem within. The food is flavorful and scrumptious and the atmosphere is colorful and relaxing. I will be eating here again.
Amazing! I wasnt sure when i pulled up but this is a Jem! Amazing flavors, and generous portions! My family will be stopping here as we drive through on a regular basis!
I love the curry! It's not too spicy for me! The buffet is well worth it! The staff is friendly and helpful.
I always love the food here. There is some great variety, from vegetarian to meat heavy, curry to noodles. My personal favorites are the pad woon sen, or the barbecue chicken.
My wife and I are sort of aficionados when it comes to Thai food. We seek out and patronize what we feel are the best Thai joints in the Twin Cities, Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison. There are a few that are at the very top of the list. In Madison it's Sa Bai. Milwaukee, it's a little place on the northside that I can remember the name of. It's on Farwell. In Minneapolis it's ironically enough, Nong's. Now, we can add a delightfully surprising gem found in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Anong's. We just happened to be driving from the Twin Cities to Denver and my wife found this four a half star place. So we checked it out and it lives up to its reviews plus! Super fast service, great waitstaff, and best of all, excellent food that rivals any we've ever had! You won't be disappointed.
The food was delicious, the portions are big and the staff are very friendly and very quick. It is worth a visit!
Amazing flavor! Wow! Fantastic service, great prices, wonderful variety! Loved it!!
Great spot for lunch, in a beautiful building. Friendly staff. They have arranged their dining room to only accommodate about 3 groups and it makes for a nice experience
Very good Thai food! Have always had a good experience here.
The Pad Thai had excellent flavor, a good portion at a very reasonable price ($10/chicken). Personable server. Will return.
This has been my go to place in Cheyenne for vegan food. Lots of options and they were very willing to help me order.
I have really liked there food everytime I have gone there. The service was great, especially since there were only 2 parties eating there at the time.
With Covid-19 it is wierd to eat in a restaurant because they are so empty.
Ten dollars for a big plate of food. They understood and accommodated vegan requests, including no egg and coconut milk in the Thai Iced Tea.
Excellent food. Good service. Easy access from the highway. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to.
Not a bad place to go for a lunch buffet. Don't expect a wide variety though it has a lot of the basics like eggrolls, sweet and sour chicken etc. The place is small and easy to miss if you don't know where exactly it is.
I've not had a variety of their dishes but what I've had, I've really enjoyed. I eat from there every now and then and they don't disappoint:)
I was skeptical at first and it didn't take long for that to be put to rest and I mean burried I'm a trucker so I'm privey to a lot of different eateries and local food this by far has been the BEST Thai that have had outside of the Thai food truck in Oregon another great surprise I despise buffets as on could imagine why this was not your typical buffet granted we were the first literally to eat off of it but the quality of the food was amazing so tasty very flavorful and fresh coupled with Great service if your ever in the area do yourself a favor stop and eat surely you will be HAPPY you did and to top it off it was only 9 bucks can't beat it
This is a gem for Cheyenne. The soups are outstanding with excellent spicing. The service is quick and the beer selection is good.
Thier food is really good.
Always good food. Buffett is great for lunch. Service could be a little prompter, but it's still not terrible.
Very good food! Fast service and good prices. A must go if you are passing through. And if you live near one and you haven't eaten at one yet, you have some serious issues. LOL
Great Thai food for good prices. Very pleasantly surprised when we stopped here going through Cheyenne. Service was good too.
Thoroughly enjoyed everything from appetizers to Fried Ice Cream for dessert..... looking forward to visiting again to try other menu items.
Great place to eat. Try the fried rice with pineapple and shrimp. A bit pricey but its enough for 2-3 meals
I ordered the yellow curry with shrimp and it was perfect. Do yourself a favor and try Among's Thai Cuisine.
I really enjoyed my yellow curry, I eat a lot of yellow curry at different restaurants.
The portion was positively Texan.
Excellent. Great value. Great flavor. Wait staff does not leave you hanging, if one gets busy another one helps. 5 Stars plus.
This place is a hidden gem! I’ve tried something new every time I go and I have not been disappointed. Easily rivals any big city Thai place. Must try
It is acceptable Thai cuisine, but certainly not top of the line. I enjoyed the Tom Yum and pot stickers.
I was really surprised how good the food was here. Cheyenne isn't really known for its cuisine. This is comparable to the Thai food I've had in Australia, and California.
Never eat the buffet... not worth the time.. always order off the menu the thai green curry level 3 spicy is so great!
I had a very good time here and a very good meal. Service was okay could have been a little better but it was late and they were about ready to close but still served me and I thank them for that..
Food was decent but small portion left me hungry. Found a random piece of chicken in my vegetarian dish.
Great curry 🍛, friendly staff. Everyone's food was very good. Fast service, very fresh! …
Delicious food and great service!
Whenever passing through Cheyenne; we’ll eat there again..
I would give their Pad Thai an 8.5 out of 10. Green Curry gets a solid 10 out of 10! Good Good Good! Good service and good food, one of my regular spots!
Amazing Thai cuisine. Everything we ordered was delicious. Quick service and very friendly staff.
I have eaten take out from my work and it was amazing. Then I decided to take my wife here after months of not eating it and it blew my mind again. You win Anong's Thai Cuisine.
Salmon green curry was delicious. Good service. Taking many COVID precautions.
Best Thai food in Cheyenne and Wyoming for that matter by far there is no comparison!
Pad Thai was good. service was a little slow, but they were short staffed so I won't slight them for that.
The food and service were outstanding. . .
Definitely a 5**** 👍😊
Very delicious and tasty food. It definitely worth 5 star for the taste. Loved it!!
I always love this place. Fantastic Thai cuisine and delicious beverages and desserts. The company was lovely, too.
Great food! Curry was amazing! Surprised to find a place like this in a smaller town. We will be repeat customers! :)
The food was good and fresh! You can't beat a $9 steak salad. The price is right too!
Great discovery. We now stop every time we come through Cheyenne. Good food at great prices. Wide selection.
Excellent food! We loved the buffet, and don't miss the Thai iced tea!
Super yummy Thai food! Everything is fresh and delicious. We go here at least once a week.
Good flavors and large portions. Tom ka and tom yum soups and spicy eggplant were solid
Delicious! So glad I stopped here to adjust to the altitude on my way to the Rockies. If I'm ever back on Cheyenne, I'll be here for dinner!
Looks like it might be a great restaurant, but I never got to find out because they don't take American Express. Expense report travelers be warned!
Service was a little off tonight but the food was excellent. Try the hot beef soup(its like pho) or the panang curry
The food is so delicious. Every time we eat here we are so impressed with the freshness and flavor.
The buffet is small but delicious. It's worth the reasonable price. Try one of their delicious drinks.
The food was very authentic and the portions very generous. I highly recommend this place if you are around Chayenne.
I have been to many Thai's restaurants but food here is A1, the smell hits differently as well.
Big fan of Anongs. I've eaten here for years and thr service and food are great. The yellow curry, masaman, and pad tahi are excellent.
Great local Thai restaurant, the massaman curry and the pad thai are good. Decent atmosphere and good service. Highly recommend this place.

Great food, I was very impressed with the service, the food, and the price. I will definitely be coming back here.
I enjoyed the buffet lunch! It had a smaller selection but it was all delicious. :)
Our favorite place to eat in Cheyenne. Have ordered everything off the menu and love it all!

This place is the real deal 👌
I've only eaten here twice, but loved it both times. I will definitely be going back.
The food here is good, but someone was murdered here recently. It's pretty creepy to think about that while trying to enjoy your dinner.
Delicious Curry and Boba Tea. I'll definitely be back!
Good restaurant option in Cheyenne. I've been stopping in for dinner or lunch for several years and will continue to do so.
Excellent buffet! I love the green curry. Add rice and it's a spicy rice pudding!
Really good lunch buffet! Always hot and fresh. Their curry is my favorite.
Very friendly staff. Yummy food. Reasonable prices for Thai food!
Had the pad Thai and it was some of the best I have ever had. The Thai tea was fantastic too!
I had the buffet, it was okay but the soup wasn't very hot and there wasnt too many choices.
Service, drinks, pot stickers, crab Rangoon were excellent. Pad Thai tasted aweful.
I'm a big fan of culture cuisine from Chinese Japanese Thai Malay Vietnamese Mongolian Hindi Bangladeshi Phillippino
