I've been to this IHOP several times, so thankfully I know what to expect. And that is... a long wait! Now, I'm a patient person so it doesn't bother me that much, especially since I only saw one waitress working. But when I'm with other people... they sure do complain about it. I tried out the new Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Crepes, and WOW! They were really delicious! My partner and my mom both got a Breakfast Combo of some sort and everything came out fine for them. Their only complaint was, of course, the wait. I'd say we waited at least 30 - 40 minutes for out food. But look, if you're not in a rush, this is a good place to go in Kanawha City. The food always tastes good and it's affordable.

Great place to get some breakfast. Food was hot fresh and good. Staff was friendly fast service. The French toast with strawberry and bananas is a great start to any day. Overall a really good meal and I would definitely come back.

I had low expectations the moment I walked in. We were seated at a booth fairly quickly on a Tuesday morning. My seat had a large tear in it that had been taped over. The window beside our booth had what looked suspiciously like a bullet hole in it (no joke, other reviews have mentioned it, too). The restaurant could use some cleaning up. However, our visit turned out well because of the great service by our waitress Tracy and the delicious food.

For the last few months I have been getting food here about once a week. I don't eat out often because most of the time places get your order wrong or the food sucks, I don't like wasting money like that. I love getting food from IHOP, they always get my order correct, the food is actually really good, & they have the best scrambled eggs around. Their prices are pretty good too.

I ordered the new Pablono Pepper and Steak English Muffins and they were delicious! Our waitress was fantastic. The food took a minute to come out, but they were very busy, and it was worth the wait.

Traveling to Ohio from North Carolina on Easter and stopped in. Had sirloin tips, broccoli and rice. Meal was hot, fresh and tasty. Spouse had grilled chicken and vegetables. Also served hot and tasty.

The breakfast food I get is hard to mess up so they do a good job everytime I come here. The place itself though is not an enjoyable place to be seated in. It usually smells when I visit here. Interesting crowds and intriguing staff. I don't know just visit it and have low expectations 😊

Food was great. We went about 3:00am on a Sunday Morning. After the bars close. It got loud and entertaining. If y’all know what I mean. Other than that it was all good.

The Service from Brayden the server was excellent, we asked him if there was decaf coffee and apparently there was no more but after a while he surprised us because he searched and found decaf coffee and he made for us a jug and gave us a great satisfaction with his A+ Attention ! The wait to get a booth was terrible, considering they had empty booth on right side of building,but we had to wait over 45 mins for seats. The staff was very friendly and helpful as soon as I walked in. The waitress was very attentive from the time I placed my order until it was time for me to leave. The waitress took our order and even suggested an appetizer while I waited. The drink was refreshing and ice cold. The food came out promptly and was great. After my meal the waitress asked if I wanted a drink to go. During the visit the staff cleaned each table and chairs to sanitized them after each guest due to the pandemic. All of the staff maintained and practiced good social distancing and wore their face mask properly.

Service was a bit slow, but it seemed like they were understaffed and doing the best they could and having a good attitude about it, which is admirable, been there done that, and it isn't fun, but keeping a smile on your face and doing 3 people's jobs, good job, food was good and service was exceptional considering being shortstaffed, thanks for working harder than you're being payed for! That would be why I tip over 20%

LOVE the food, staff is nice, I HIGHLY recommend the Colorado, it's very tasty. Atmosphere is average for an IHop, the place seems clean. Prices are a bit higher than I'd like but it is totally at a manageable level. The omelette I get is about 10 dollars, but it's a lot of food and it comes with two pancakes. I know I already said I recommend the Colorado, but really, try it.

Wasn't super hungry but stopped in for some hash browns and decided to get an order fresh fruit. They proceed to bring out five grapes, two orange slices and five pieces of honeydew melon for $6. I get fruit is expensive but dang! Other than that good, fast and prompt service. Just add more fruit to the order!

Parked my truck next door and stopped in on December 13th 2021 . This is one of the best IHOP's I've ever been to! The staff was friendly and very attentive! Food came out in an extremely timely manner and was perfect! I look forward to my visit again!

My fiancé and I went here for Mother’s Day when we got there we were greeted politely and seated promptly The waiter was courteous considering it took us more time too order because we were sure what we wanted he came too our table 4 times after we received our food too see if there was anything else he could do for us he was very well mannered ...the food we recieve was very well plated and very delicious if u leave hungry that’s ur own fault that’s place was absolutely delicious and an amazing dining experience

On top of all that I got rung up for someone else's bill and was told it wouldn't hit my account well its pending right now so I'll see if it does post. Good server, though when we would ask for things she would say "sure, I'll grab that when I have time." Food was a bit bland, but they do have sauces to help improve and the prices aren't bad for what you get. All in all, I would eat here again even with the same server. She was polite in all other ways, that just struck me as odd.

Delivery to our motel room was missing a salad and butter and syrup for my pancakes. Manager gets huge kudos for bringing our items to us. As for the meal, my country fried steak, eggs, and hash browns were cooked perfectly. The cfs was as good as I have had. Overall A very positive experience.

I when there to enjoy a birthday dinner with 2 friends; all of us over 60. Food was great and large portions. Reasons I don't give 5 stars-- is the waitress could have done her job with a more professional, example, she never mentionsl all the choices of vegetables so I was to believe that only 1 choice- corn which I don't thoroughly digest. Then after food served then she says I could have choose Broccoli.2. Never ask if we were over 60 so we didn't get a discount! My birthday cake stated,"Happy 64th birthday!" So, I complainted to mgr, she offered an apology and coupon for next meal and stated that's customer responsible th inform server that we the customer is over 60; which I was NOT aware- am I psychic?? No! No signs posted to inform customer nor do the waitress or wait or or host inform us of rule! Which but a damper on my birthday party!

We visited midday and there was no wait for seating, the waiter, Walter, was attentive and friendly, and the food hot, the order correct. Opposite side of things, a slightly grunge look to the carpet and flies in the dining room knocked out a star. Someone invest in a zapper, or redesign the menu into a flyswatter shape.

Decent service the place was pretty chilly inside to the point they had space heaters in the bathroom. I got cream cheese stuffed French toast and bacon my date got a breakfast meal, the food was good we devoured it, wait was a little long but not drastically. I drank water he had coffee, it cost 25$ again not ridiculous but I felt it was a little high.

The food is always good, but for some reason, they can't seem to find a way to keep their phone on the hook for call-in orders. I have coupons which I can't use in the online app. I've talked to the manager about this when in-store, and they fix it for a bit, but it never sticks it seems. Just a hassle that seems like it could be fixed with a little effort.

Late night food is always good. Service depends on who you get. There is a problem waitress that tends to work the night shift. You'll have long waits and no refills. Might even have to get your own bottle of ketchup.

Hard working and caring employees, great food, good people all around, from managers to dishwashers. I have witnessed people getting angry and hateful sometimes because they have to wait longer than they expected, not realizing the effort that the staff is putting forth... They may be struggling because of being short-handed or maybe they had equipment failure (which we all know about that... i.e. refrigerator or stove stop working). Before you complain...take note, take a look around (outside of your bubble). Everyone is in a hurry... Slow down and enjoy something or someone or somewhere... sometime! You might just have a better day...

Steve the waiter was the best waiter I’ve had in many many MANY years. I’m an over the road long haul truck driver and having eaten at many a diner across our great country, Steve was the best. Attentive... so attentive he would be ahead of his game. Extra napkins, constant clearing of the table, warm up the coffee thermos before it was empty. Also, he just has a sincerely nice attitude or energy about him which made breakfast before a long days work/drive to Chicago that much more manageable. Cheers!

Fine roadside breakfast. In half of the restaurant, the air conditioning was broken. So, if you go in the morning make sure to ask for the cool side. Easting in a hot diner sucks! The server was really nice and the liked the different syrups.

This is the 2nd time I've been here in about 3 years. The first time the food was average and the service was straight horrible. This time the server was good but the food was below average ar best. I ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. The chicken was dry and tough, the mashed potatoes was so dried out I originally thought it was a biscuit, after attempting a full cup of butter it didn't help; the corn was good though. I guess I should stick to the breakfast menu.

Food is pretty good and staff is very friendly. I would recommend the blueberry pancakes. They have several different flavors syrups available and a huge menu to pick from. One advantage is that you can order breakfast foods all day long.

It’s ihop so don’t expect a ton, our server was very friendly and we went late so she and a cook were the only ones there. Our server worked her butt off and earned a nice tip. The food was not great however but if it’s late and everything is closed this place will do.

Great food!!! A little on the too expensive side. I think if you lowered your price just a bit, you would het much more people eating at IHOP!!! Families just can't afford to eat there, even with an upper-middle class income with two paychecks. We just have too many necessary payments to make our lives livable. I think I would eat there much more if the prices were family friendly. I think IHOP would make much more revenue if they lowered their prices--more people would come eat!!!!

Awesome food awesome service. The food was hot and yummy and my waitress was vigilent didn't forget anything I asked for. The manager was seen on the floor at almost all times making sure everyone's experience was going well and the restaurant was neat and clean. Me and my fiancé went at 3pm on a Friday(11-4-16) and will certainly be back.

I mean, it's IHOP. However, this one seems to be well managed, and staffed accordingly. As long as they bring me my strawberry creme crepes and slightly well-done bacon. I must say, we eat here often. We have gift certificates that are from 50/50 Fridays. You essentially get $50.00 (5 incriments of $10.00)in certificates for 25.00. Between the gift certificates and the 4% cash back for using my debit card (courteous of Nerd Wallet) I just can't stay out if that place. Definitely get the strawberries n' creme cheese crepes. You won't be sorry!

It was a great start to the day greeted with friendly smiles and warm hellos from that it only got better. First a hot cup of coffee a reserved small pot at the side of the table followed by a steaming Belgian waffle with butter to spread that I covered in butter pecan syrup. I was in breakfast heaven. What a way to start a day IHOP!
