Reviews of Brick Salt Bar+Kitchen
One of the bartenders was slightly rude. I also did not know this but their menu is very limited and don't plan on bringing the kids as all they really had available for drinks were all alcoholic. Had to walk to the Hotel's little shop to buy soda at 3.20 cents for a normal bottle of mountain dew or pepsi. Other than the menu being super limited, likely due to covid so I don't blame them, the lack of "normal drinks" and the one very uninterested bartender lady it was a great time. Really good scotch, and the burger was absolutely incredible even before the alcohol. Definitely would recommend. Just bring a beverage with you unless you want a beer or mixed drink.
I went because of the menu that is posted online. That menu is NOT their current menu and hasn't been for years as the
gentleman behind the bar told us. He was a very nice man and the service was great, however, there isn't too much to choose from food wise, as in a steak or salmon, etc. We did get the pork wontons and they were pretty good! Had 1 drink and went around the corner to Outback.
While they do have a bar, they close a bit too early to actually be considered as such. I mean 11pm is late for a kitchen and early for a bar so I guess they cut it down the middle. Anyhoo, great food, very relaxed atmosphere. Staff very attentive and friendly.
I wasn't there long. I didn't even order any food. The person that accompanied me there ordered a chicken salad. It came quick, it smelled delicious, looked great.
However I ordered a Bloody Mary cocktail and it came in the wrong glass it had heavily salted rim.(they don't come with salted rims.eeeeewwww. it was half hour untill they closed for the evening. The bartenders were doing all the serving in the dining area then tending bar at the same time. Not to sure if thats how it is during all business hours or not. Although I would hope that they had at least one waitress if not more .
I dined there while staying at the hotel
The food is good and fresh, the portion is large and it is very reasonably priced
Great atmosphere! Tim is a great bar tender!! Make sure to check this place out!
For a hotel bar, this one e is pretty decent. Food is good and not that pricey. Service was very good.
Food was good as was the service for a quick place to grab a sandwich while at the Marriott Hotel.
Great atmosphere and service treats you well. Portions could be a bit larger but nice selection.
Great Food and Service! This hotel bar and restaurant had the best grilled chicken ceasar salad I have ever had and if you only knew my addiction to this particular dish you would know that is saying something! The room service menu paralleled this menu and that service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend this bar and restaurant anytime of the day or night for a quick bite or full dinner. The Moscow mule was also top notch!👍🏻
Excellent place for guests from the hotel or anyone else to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere as they enjoy a drink or delicious meal. Actual chefs on staff that prepare the food. A bit pricey by comparison, but you get what you pay for! Does not require you to be dressed up. Parking will cost money if in the garage. Would recommend the Boom Boom Shrimp-a personal favorite of mine.
Fantastic food and service. I fully recommend Paula at the bar. She’s very attentive and a gorgeous gorgeous smile. I had the blackened catfish. I lived a long time in the south and this catfish was terrific. Really really good. Highly recommend
Another great dinner at a place that much of Charleston has not yet discovered. The Shrimp and sausage with pasta in a deliciously spicy red sauce was superb. Good service and nice metro ambiance eating in the lounge area
The drinks - decent wine selection and good cocktails- are better than the food. But it's open late ( 11 pm Sunday-Thursday) so it's good option for travelers who don't want to wander after a long day.
Food was delicious. The flatbread appetizer was more than plenty for a meal (the chicken bacon Apple one was soooo good). Wings were hefty in size and the set of 8 were also a good size for a meal. Great service.
It's a simple hotel eatery, minimal menu options and expensive drinks.
Service and food were very good, what we anticipated. Betty did a great job with our order as we had are 4 kids with us and it was late night after travelling all day
Surprisingly yummy! The salads were perfectly dressed, and the catfish with succotash and pickled okra had a delicious sauce.
Chic venue for meeting with friends or discussing business over a drink. The locations allows for quick access to the convention center or charleston mall. There is a wide array of top shelf liquors and bourbons. Just make sure you are drinking on the company dime.
Excellent food and service! We ordered room service and had our food, fresh and hot at our door in 20 minutes! Highly recommend!
Great restaurant. We came here because we were staying at the Marriott. Drink prices are reasonable.
The online menu does not match the menu in the restaurant... kind of had our hearts set on potstickers and calamari and they were nowhere to be found. Nice atmosphere though
Great breakfast buffet! Great service at breakfast! Outrageous prices for wine in the evening.
I loved this place! Great chicken pot pie, amazing Manhattan and the sweetest bartender/waitress Lexie! I will be back on my return from Myrtle Beach because this place rocks!
Typical in-hotel restaurant, convenient since not much around. Menu doesn't change but service is decent.
Food was good. Little understaffed. But..who isn't?
Was there for breakfast as I was staying there. Had the buffet pretty much the same as in every hotel but you had to pay 14. Really much for what it was
Loved the food and staff! Paula is great!
Great food and service!
Amazing food, Great bar, Wonderful staff, Nice atmosphere! Highly Recommend!!
Great location. Within walking distance of mall, food and the hotel has a great restaurant.
Slow service and servers with no smiles.
Very kind staff, comfortable seating areas, delicious foods!
Drinks are overpriced, except for the beer, and the atmosphere is lackluster.
Located in the Mariott. Friendly staff and good food/drinks.
Service was excellent and food delicious!! Worth it!!
The bartender is great here.
Very limited menu.
Great place after the pageant to have fun.
Homey, nice staff, reasonable food.
Its pricey but the service is right there
