This was a great stop! Good beer selection, the service was very friendly and the food was great! We sat outside and were served very promptly, our sever Markaiah (?) Was phenomenal and very efficient. We had the fried pickles, boneless wings (Adelphia/Hot style,) and the gyro- all of which were delicious! Glad we decided to stop here, there's a lot of options in the area and this was a great choice!

New to town, wasn't sure of what to expect of this place, atmosphere is not my usual setting for dinner but it was not crowded with a bunch of loud talking, it's not quiet but very tolerable. But the food here is exceptional. Will definitely be back to try many interesting items on the menu. We ordered 2 half lb. burgers and fries well done, cooked to perfection, fries were delicious. If you are going for quiet this is not the place, but we did enjoy ourselves.

Food has always been good. Service is decent. My only dislike is that servers aren't particularly friendly. Being a server isn't the best job, I get it. But even when I express my gratitude with a "thank you". I've never been replied to at all, not even with a "you're welcome". Maybe I've just been catching them on a bad day. Who knows. It's not a big deal, the food is good.

Everything on the Sunday brunch buffet was done with excellence. Light, fluffy biscuits with hearty sausage gravy. Tender chicken and sweet Belgian waffle with syrup. Perfectly crisped bacon and creamy scrambled eggs. And the breakfast potatoes were seasoned uniquely and had me craving more.

My partner and I ate here around 2pm for lunch. The food was excellent! Well seasoned, no texture issues, and the staff was fine. I see how this place a good sports bar for the later crowds. However, I would not come here to eat in the middle of the day unless you’re going to sit outside. The atmosphere was pretty overstimulating with very loud music and about 12 TVs all on different channels at the same time. Again, great food, fine service, bad lunch atmosphere.

Mariah and her colleagues are top notch! I seen these folx rock out a packed house without batting an any of their beautiful eyes. The food is solid and the service slaps. They got Touch Tunes but default is classic rock which was a okay with me. Great establishment! 10/10 Would recommend and will be back.

Decent environment downtown. Fish & chips were very undercooked but management rectified it very well (got a burger instead) and I was pleased overall. Portions were good for the price. The waitress friendly and informative.

Loved nearly everything about Adelphia! Tried their signature fried feta appetizer, beef souvlaki, dolmades, Greek salad, and baklava. I had plenty to bring home for dinner the next evening! The feta app is a must try! I like all the components and they were put together splendidly! The beef was tender, and alive with flavor! I would recommend nothing over medium rare. Service was great! Olivia was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and offered good feedback about potential menu choices. The atmosphere was spirited and clients spanned all ages. The one thing I did not like was the chocolate syrup on the baklava. If I knew it was going to be added I would have asked that it be omitted. I hate sending stuff back so I scraped off what I could and ate it anyway.

Attending a conference with a pulled muscle so no visiting restaurants in person. Thanks to GrubHub I got to eat Greek food! Delicious gyros just like I like (no veggies). The baklava had chocolate sauce on it. Weird but not bad. Quick delivery, food still warm. Biodegradable packaging. Pleased!

The wife and I stopped by for some dinner and it was pretty good for a sports bar. I ordered the Spyro's steak burger medium rare but ended up with a regular burger medium well .. but it was still quite good, especially with feta. The wife's boneless wings were good but overly peppered. Waffle fries were awesome. Other than that, the service was pretty good and the prices were fair. I'd go back.

I have eaten here a few times with family and coworkers. Their burgers and gyros have been good every time. The Greek twist on classic American is neat. Adelphia is an easy recommendation for anyone craving pub food Charleston. Would be 5 stars if the service was improved.

A bar and restaurant that offers pizza and wings and array of greek food. Today i just came in for there bloody mary they are known for. It was perfection just enough spice and for 1$ extra i had absolute vodka instead of the other thats used. The bartender was friendly and skilled at making the perfect 🍹 drink. Heard how good this place was, finally tried it out for lunch. We had the Feta Cheese platter (AWESOME), the Hot Dog Homewrecker (GREAT), a roast beef sandwich (VERY GOOD), tried a small order of wings (BEST WE HAVE HAD IN CHARLESTON)! Service was good too! Lunch time parking was OK (meter on street)... evening parking always is an issue and why we have not tried before now as there is rarely any parking.

Traveling from MI to GA. Stopped in charlotte for the night. This place is a must! The food and service were both amazing. We had the Buffalo chicken dip, Mexican quesadilla, and garlic parm boneless wings. Drinks from the bar were also made great. Highly recommend going here

We had a good time here when my sister in law visited in April. The restaurant is kid friendly, they had high chairs, crayons and paper for kids to scribble on. My kids had mini corn dogs, I had the house salad (fresh and crunchy). My sis had steak and fries, it was huge. Drinks were nice. The manager gave us a discount because our order took some time. The waitress was polite, always checking if we wanted anything.

Food was delicious! Got the hummus wrap stuffed with a nice blend of vegetables and cheese and the feta bites with pita. Also had a grilled cheese that is stuffed with a variety of cheese on perfectly toasted bread and waffle fries. Customer service far exceeded above and beyond anywhere I've been in Charleston.

They sat us at this table at 5:10, and they haven't been back since. Who is our waitress? Did they just change shifts? Oh, here she is now at 528pm (abigail) and has taken our order. Fried feta arrived at 5:42pm. Meal came at 5:48pm and it was great! Nice save, Adelphia...Nice save

Hubby and I first visited Adelphia on Saturday evening. It was recommended by the hotel where we were staying. At first, I wasn't so sure because I generally don't like the noise of sports bars, but I quickly changed my mind. We were able to have a conversation at our table without yelling at each other. Hubby has an allergy that the waitress and kitchen staff took very seriously. We were extremely impressed with how they handled his order and considered his allergy even in choosing the cook surface to use. The service was quick, even though the place was packed. The food was delicious. The prices were more than reasonable. We will definitely return.

I went to Adelphia for the first time with a group of friends from work. The food I ordered was excellent. I got some nachos & boneless wings and enjoyed them both. I noticed the boneless wings were much bigger than wings I have gotten at other restaurants. Special shout out to the bartender that was working that night, think his name with Hutch (sorry if I got the name wrong). He took great care of us at the bar, always making sure we had what we needed. I would return to Adelphia for another visit for sure.

Food wasn't all that great! (RESPONSE TO ADELPHIA COMMENTS) My son and I ordered a burger and asked for them to be cooked medium and the waiter asked "you want pink inside" well there wasn't any pink inside and it took 3 glasses of water to choke his down. I sent my food back because the burger was so dry and the waffle fries were cold. Service was poor at best and if you had as much concern about my food the day I was there and sent a manager over to take care of the problem as you did replying to this review you may not have gotten such a bad review. NO ONE came to check on us after they took my food back and I had to ask for our bill. When the bill came it had three meals on it even though I sent mine back. Just goes to show that you can use the finest quality meat and if you over cook it then it is still overcooked!

A solid experience. Establishing a level of comfort is key for us to enjoy being out. It's really tough in today's conditions, but we started to decompress the moment we walked in. Good music and a staff happy to see customers was a good start. Their craft beer selection sealed the deal and we settled into the atmosphere.

We were on visiting on a Saturday from out of town. We really liked that everyone was super friendly and if you park across the street, which cost five dollars, you get five dollars off your total food purchase of thirty dollars or more. The cons were that we were there ten thirty to eleven thirty and there were quite a bit of children there. It does not seem like a true sports bar, more of family setting, rather than what was advertised. Our fries were quite hard but they looked good on everyone else's plate. We ordered a burger and it was pretty good. It was extremely crowded, more than likely because there was a hockey match on, so it was very hard for us to track our waitress down for essentials such as silverware, napkins, and our bill. We did also try the brownie desert and it was good but nothing apart from the ordinary. Overall I would not say this is one of Charleston's absolute dining locations but it was good for the price and the people are nice.

I've eaten here multiple times and the employees are always nice. I order for lunch once in awhile and their estimated time is spot on as well as having silverware, condiments, and napkins without asking. The salads are perfect, no whole lettuce leaves for awkward eating.

If you are looking for a reason to travel into Charleston to eat, make this place your destination. Everything standard you would expect in a enjoyable family restaurant or sports bar can be found here. I have had several of their hardy and delicious menu items, but what really does it for me are their monster salads that are often bigger than the always pretty and friendly waitresses that serve them. Adelphia is my current go-to location for salads. Their salads are a colorful and fresh meat, cheese and vegetable mountain that you will lose yourself in akin to the first time you watched “Alice In Wonderland” as a child. Yes, their salads are that good, and I am a man who on occasion, can eat like a horse. On a cautionary note; if you are looking for a acceptable environment to enjoy a conversation with someone else at your table, I would strongly advise you to avoid this place like the plague on any West Virginia game day. That is, unless you find noise levels similar to that of a live space shuttle launch, airshow or rock concert, enjoyable. If you want to potentially combine extreme decibel levels with a tasty and powerful meal that will leave you full, then head to Adelphia.

You’ll find me at Adelphia at least a couple times per week. Their Greek Salad w/ chicken is easily one of my favorite local meals. The wings are hard to beat, and I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t enjoy the deep fried feta. The staff is always welcoming and attentive.

Very nice restaurant with sidewalk or inside seating. Greek styled foods and great wings. I have been there twice and loved it! Parking is across the street or on the street (yikes) and you have to pay to park ($5). But if you spend more than 30 they will take it off your bill (after 5 pm). Great food and great service both times I went. Drinks available. Worth a stop if your in town.

I travel a lot for work and this little gem was next to the place I was planning to go to. Food was great, well priced, and a nice comfortable atmosphere. Big fan of locally owned places. Would definitely recommend if you're passing through and need a good meal. The Greek food is great too.

Nice place, plenty of TV's to watch sports. NON-Typical pub food, which is actually really good. I mean who would've thought spicy hummus, feta cheese and cucumbers on a hamburger, it sounded so off beat that I had to try it and it works well together, it may be my new go to hamburger, when I in town.

The greek salad had lot of iceberg lettuce, just 3 or 4 black olives, super simple! The greek salad of the pizza place next to it makes a much better salad and is not a greek restaurant. The service of the waitress was good, they are more a sport restaurant bar than a Greek restaurant, they need to add more greek food, must of the greek restaurants have the veggie plate, when I asked the waitress about that she told I can get for you grilled veggies, that's not greek food.

First off, super friendly service...Taylor was great. The Greek Salad is EXCELLENT and the Beef Souvlaki PHENOMENAL!!! Can't wait to come back next trip through Charleston. Traveling alone and headed toward home, but seems like this would be a good place to hang out. Music playing and lots of tv's. Daily lunch specials, Happy Hour M-F 4:30-7:00 and Ladies Night Thursday's 4:30-8:00. Definitely check it out if there's an opportunity.

The menu selection is unique among Charleston eateries and its taste is beyond compare. Try the Greek Nachos! The wait staff are friendly and knowledgeable for recommendations. A special shout out to the management- A misunderstanding was handled with grace and good hospitality last Wednesday night. They will certainly get our business again. Cheers!
