Reviews of The Skinny Pancake Burlington
Melissa Silverman
Never expected this place to live up to its considerable hype - but it absolutely DID.
(Burlington sure loves the Skinny Pancake! There are several locations.) This is essentially a creperie, with sweet and savory options, as well as salads and some other options (a hamburger, etc.). But the crepes are the super standouts. Had the Johnny Crepe, a barbecue pulled pork and cheese crepe with a smokey maple sauce. Delicious! Paired well with a local IPA. The ambiance is "semi-service" - order and pay at the counter and food is delivered to the table. The space accommodates live music (they were setting up for a show during our early evening visit). This is good fun, a few steps from Burlington's gorgeous waterfront. Highly recommend!

Loved the atmosphere, friendly service, the chalk table was fun. The poutine was salty but delicious. But of course, you are here for CREPES. Our savory pick was my favorite, chicken bacon ranch. Our sweet pick was my wife's favorite, apple pie stuffed!
Keep having a crepe day!

We were here for the New Year brunch. Huge queue and wait time as expected. We got our name in the wait list and were able to secure a table in 30 minutes. We had heard a lot about their crepes, so we ordered veggie monster and Johnny crepes along with side of skinny fries. They were out of Jaffa crepe so we ordered blueberry pie instead for the dessert. I found my veggie option average but my friends really liked their Johnny crepe! Worth a try whenever you are here in Burlington.

If you came to Burlington, you can't leave without tasting Skinny Pancake. Let me tell you though, the pancake is NOT skinny! Healthy, but very filling and large portion! Highly recommend to make reservation way in advance!
Menu choices:

>>Sweet and sour. What can go wrong with fruit and cheese?
Chicken Pesto (Savory)☆☆☆☆
Vegetarian (Savory)☆☆☆☆
>>Their squash was great! So filling though
Seasonal Fruits (Sweet) ☆☆☆☆☆
>> Nutella and Pear are great combination, especially when covered with powder sugar.

Felt like I was transported to the Appalachian’s for some reason. The vibe was nice and the food was delicious. You’ll order at the counter and they’ll bring the food to you.
The crepes are extremely good - can’t go wrong there for a meal. The blueberry was very good so I’d recommend that one if you’re hesitant on which one to get and enjoy sweet. If savory, go for the cheese and egg. The potatoes stole the show which I’d recommend as a side order. Coffee was alright, but not as presentable as it could be when it comes to the coffee game.
All in all pretty good spot to eat. There’s parking nearby and right next to great walking and biking paths.

Our first time visiting and what a great spot to eat. Seating is a little tight if you don’t mind that as we didn’t. The food was excellent and great service the food also came out quick. The business model is a little different you can order via QR code or go up to the counter. Overall great experience and we will be back.

We loved the breakfast crepes so much that we went here twice! Our crepes, burritos, and drinks were delicious. The gin brunch drink with strawberry and ginger and gin hit the spot. 11/10 would recommend.

Close to hotel and the lake a short walk. Interesting set up and food was creative and different all in a good way. All the food was well prepared and flavorful. All the stuff was friendly and helpful. Place is definitely different but in a good way.

I always wanted to dine looking lake Champlain when I went to Vermont. Last stay I needed breakfast and stumbled upon this place. It was right across the lake. I took my chances and wasn't disappointed. If you love crepes with variations, THIS IS THE PLACE. oh that day's special was beet and roots hash, yumm...
Juhle Beans
I love local eateries and this did not disappoint. The food was great and the staff friendliness was even better. Had to bring home a bottle of their local maple syrup.

Upon arrival you are greeted by a sign that says one party at check-in at a time right next to the "Black lives matters" sign🙄. We got checked in and were told there was a 15 minute wait due to staffing shortage. After 15 minutes of waiting in the rain, while there were empty tables inside, we were called in, seated and instructed to order at the cashier. Why the 15 minute wait when there are 12 empty tables? Not to mention the table behind us didn't get cleaned the whole time we were there! They didn't have the ingredients to make the Crepe or drink my wife wanted off of the menu. The mimosa my wife ordered was in a dirty glass and seemed to be "extra pulpy" and my beer glass was also filthy. The crepes were ok, not the best we've had. The "coleslaw" with the Jonny Crepe was hardly coleslaw. The poutine was good but nothing to brag about. By the end of our meal, my step daughter still hadn't received her hot chocolate and my wife has to go up and wait in line to ask about it again. Very inefficient with the one girl taking the orders, making the drinks and delivering to the table when she finally gets a chance.

We had such a great dining experience at the Skinny Pancake at Quechee that we decided to dine at this location too and surely enough, it was as good as what we expected. VT steamed apple cider is a must-try. On peak times, reservation is absolutely recommended.
Jeff Tong
Really well made crepes here. Ordered the burrito crepe: eggs, beans, and cheese in a scallion crepe. Really sizable burrito and super yummy. The apple, blueberry, and brie crepe was also a wonderful combination. We also ordered the steamed apple cider which was good
Stephani Esposito
Me and a friend went here for breakfast on a Friday morning. She had ordered a crepe without a certain ingredient. The crepe came packed with the ingredient and she couldn't even eat it. We also got a side of home fries that were either dusted or coated with a maple flavoring. That would have been fine if there was a description on the menu of that flavor being there. We were looking for that so it was unpleasant at the time.
Kimberly Howland
Very beautiful restaurant. It was great to see that they served both sweet and more savory crepes. Worth going to many times in order to try all the crepes! Great selection of drinks also. It's not every day apple cider is on the list. Staff are very friendly, and it was cool how you have to go to the counter to order.
While it may be easier to get seats outside, do note that there will be bees outside, and they may want to land on your food. Indoor dining is available too though.
Samantha Charbonneau
We arrived at 10:30 on a Monday morning and had to be added to the waitlist. We were told about 30 minutes. The line to speak to someone at the podium to tell them we were there for our table took 20 mins. (there was only one party allowed at the podium at the time, per their COVID rules). We were seated at 11:20. This was our first time in Burlington and it seems that everything (including this restaurant) moves a bit slower than what we’re used to in Upstate, NY. You order from a window and the food is delivered to your table. We ordered poutine, 2 sugarshack crepes, and the breakfast burrito. It took 20 mins to order food and 20 mins to receive our food. Everything was delicious! We have a location near us in NY that we are planning to try.
Robert Garfield
Great fresh crepes and salads served in a casual atmosphere right on Lake Champlain. I make sure to stop here for breakfast or lunch whenever I’m in Burlington.

My overall dining experience was quite delightful. Staff was friendly and efficient. Upon arrival I was seated by the host (I believe her name was Tanya) at a wonderful chalkboard table. I really enjoyed this spot as it gave me a place to doodle as I waited for my food. The iced coffee was refreshing and paired well with the apples and brie crepe. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will definitely be coming back!
Stephanie Texeira
Great place pretty close to the park and waterfront. Nice selection of crepes ranging from the typical flavors to unique combinations. Everything was delicious. Be warned, the savory crepes are fairly filling! I didn't anticipate how well filled they would be and ordered 2. I ended up with leftovers (but there are worse things than that!) We would definitely return when we're in the area again.
Kimberly N
Definitely go! Unique menu features crepes: breakfast burrito is made with a scallion crepe. DELICIOUS. Homemade orange juice is divine. Chalkboard tables inside great for kids. It's a semi-self serve, meaning you place your order at counter and waitress serves it.
Shrinivas Devshatwar
Crepes with Savory taste are great as well as sweet ones. We had veggie monster and lovemaker. Both were great.
Ethan Ames
Disappointed in myself with this one. I came expecting greatness and what I got was at most goodness at the fault of none other than myself. The wait was long, but the place is popular. Navigating the menu, we gravitated towards savory items, but we made rash decision and the result was wonderfully concocted dishes that ill fitted my pallet, for I am a sweets lover at heart. Our redemptions was with the blueberry frumple cake aka love on a plate. The Skinny Pancake will remain a Burlington great. My advice for you is before you come to find the Skinny Pancake make sure you have come to find yourself.
From my girlfriend: 2/5 but home fries are a must
Olga Trofymets
Food was awesome.
I recommend making reservations 30 minutes before going jn. We didn’t have one and had to wait which is not the easiest thing with the kids.
Eric Deschambault
Love this place! The pancakes are delicious and stuffy. The coffee is also excellent, and the patio is lovely. I really enjoyed the Burrito pancake... delicious and healthy!!!
Danielle Little
This is a great place to grab a crepe or some comfort food. Hot drinks are satisfactory. I've never ventured far from the crepes, but everything I've tasted is fantastic. This spot is a rare treat for me as I find it a little pricey. I highly recommend it especially earlier before it gets busy and when the weather is nice (seasonally?) grab a seat outside for a view of the lake.
Jordan Rizzo
The ordering process was different and a little discouraging but the food was incredible. The home fries were more food than expected and very good. Worthy of sharing.
Momo Tran
My partner and I love the crepes here! They are so soft and so yummy! He got a burrito out of a crepe and it was so so delicious. I got a strawberry, banana, and nutella crepe which how can that go wrong. We got beets and carrots I believe on the side which was really small and pricey we felt but overall would come back! We had reservations so it was quick being able to pass the line into the restaurant!
Amish Bhavsar
Great place for some nice and healthy crepes.
The location is amazing... Right across from lake Champlain.
We had the blueberry pie with ice cream. The cost is just $10 and the item is amazing. Not too sweet and yet flavorful.
A must try for anyone in Burlington Vermont.
Sparsha Gowda
Tasty home fries and crepes. Definitely recommend their sandwiches with pesto mayo.
Amanda Leet
Crepes were delicious. Bloody Mary and Mimosas were fabulous. Even better than the food and drinks were the staff. The host was amazing. Great customer service and handled a line around the building with no stress. The staff was all pleasant, helpful, and quick on their feet.
Shannon
Absolutely delicious! Definitely reccommend. Service was fast and the staff was great.
Alex
Stopped here for breakfast and loved it. Lots of crepes to choose from, both sweet and sour, as well as traditional breakfast options. The service was very quick and our food tasted great. Would definitely come back!
MAILYN TERRADO
This was our first time here, we were welcomed and ask if it was our first time here... the person that took care of us explained very well how things work...
Everything looks very clean and organized
Breakfast was super delicious and it was brought to our table in a timely manner
Staff was super friendly and professional
I definitely recommend this place for breakfast 😋
I'm not sure if this is a family own business but they definitely knows how make customers welcomed and we are definitely coming back next time we visit Vermont.
Chelsea Guarino
Such yummy crepe options! They have other delicious food options as well. Their fries are made especially well. This place an get busy, but it really shows just how good of an experience it is. Definitely worth it.
Ed Mattingly
Got a chance to visit on a Mon morning prior to heading home from our trip. We were able to be seated fairly quick without a reservation (although I'd recommend for busier times). The menu had plenty of gluten free options for my wife Celiac Annie. She went with a buckwheat wrap with two eggs and a side of sausage. I had Noah's Ark (w/ two of everything) and thoroughly enjoyed the crepes. I would have loved to sample a few of the adult beverages but didn't indulge given the long drive ahead of me. Highly recommended for breakfast!
Sarina
Super yummy! I went twice on my trip to Burlington and had both a savory and sweet crepe. The staff was very nice and I liked the semi service style a lot because personally I’m not into constantly being checked on while I’m eating.
Also the poutine was so good!!
Eric Cheng
Has breakfast here, paid $15 for scramble eggs, bacon, and home fries. Bacon is over cooked (dryer and crumbly) eggs over cooked (not sure how you can messed up scramble egg). Perhaps it’s a one off consider it’s stellar reviews, but my experience was underwhelming. On the upside, coffee was good and had good atmosphere.
SD Shanti
Great food in a nice location. The chicken pesto crepes were very good and available in a gluten-free buckwheat version as well as regular version. Friendly service. Recommend highly.
Jim Cullip
I usually don't care for crepes, but this place had many great dishes with a twist. Food was absolutely amazing and we had maple lattes that were perfect...not too sweet and not too bland. Staff was very friendly as well and their cleaning measures for COVID-19 were great.
M Kolodij
The burger was good. The chicken pesto crepe has ground up chicken in it and just needed something to give it more texture or a kick of extra flavor.
Aj Mills
Yum... yum. Yum. First, let me warn you. The portions are HUGE!!! If you want to share one for your meal then get one for dessert you will def leave full and happy... also without the bed of a to go box. Really amazing wait staff here as well.
Reny Linguini
The vibe here is great once you walk in. The locals love it. Its conveniently right next to the water. Got a strong college place feel to it. Workers are friendly and open to offer suggestions. The food is a mixed bag. To my discerning out of town palate, my spin-art dip was was a little too garlicky. And i love garlic. The chips are pieces of fried crepe were a disappointment. I'm used to it being lighter, these were brick hard. Some were stale.
To my teenager, this was great and perfect. Her cheese burger was on point and so was the pesto crepe. Price for 4 including iced tea was $52 with tip.
Brett Stanes
Great little place. Pretty good food and excellent location (within 5min walk of the boardwalk). Had the veggie monster and a couple sugar shacks along with some poutine and a spinach and artichoke dip. Veggie was solid but lacking some flavor. Poutine was just ok. Sugar shacks were delish. Dip was by far the best though - highly recommend. Overall it was a good experience for a first-timer, would recommend checking it out if you are in the waterfront area.
Anuja Puranik
Best place for brunch. We went there this weekend and surpringly we got a table really early. This place is always crowded so be prepared to wait. They have amazing savory and sweet crepes, greats eggs and different vegetable hash browns (not made of potatoes but root vegies). We ordered hazelnut crepe, hash &eggs, breakfast burrito, salad&soup. Everything was really amazing. I definitely recommend this place if you are in Burlington,VT

Reservations Are Necessary and They Weren't Allowing Takeout. Food Was Delicious. You are Seated, Review The Menu, Walk Up To Place Your Order (which is odd), Sit Back Down & Wait For Many Different People To Serve Your Menu,Drinks, Silverware Then Food. IMHO, Too Many People Making Contact. 1 Person Should Take Care of Your Service From Start to Finish. We Had To Wave Someone Down 3x To Get Assistance.
The Bathroom Is Also Shared With The Entire Building, So Be Prepared For a Lengthy But Artistic Walk Down Mazes of Hallways.
Because The Food Was Good, We Would Go Back ....only reason
Please Request No Salt On Fries or Poutine. We Were Unable To Eat Them Due To Them Being Layered With All Salt!
Jackie Ramsay
The food is fabulous and the service is excellent. A member of our party had food allergies and the staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. They have more than just crepes, as well!
Terry King
Nice quick casual place with good drinks and filling crepes
James
Great space for kids, the table is a chalkboard so definitely kid friendly. The crepes though are -- amazing!! Definitely recommend!
eric j
Fantastic savory and sweet crepes made with fresh ingredients- what’s not to like?
They have a creative and well constructed menu with a varied beer selection as well.
Even better- they offer outdoor music that is amazing and of really high quality.
There isn’t much better than eating first rate food, listening to great music, Burlington Vermont, all within a short walk of the water front and a gorgeous sunset.
If you’re in the area- I don’t think too can go wrong: stop by and enjoy.

This is a great restaurant to visit in Burlington! Great food. Cute location. Excellent customer service. It is moderately priced. It was very busy when we visited and we had to wait a bit for our food. We got the Johnny Crepe and the Poutine, both were delicious. We are excited to visit again soon!
J Hs
Their savory crepes, the Vermonster and the Lumberjack were AWESOME! Excellent and quick serivce. Park on the side street and walk down to the waterfront and have a little picnic with your takeout.
Misty Peck
They're great!
Great service, great staff, great drinks
and last but not least great food
They support local farmers
They help their local community, more than most businesses
Pictured below is the Veggie Monster
Basil-sunflower seed pesto, Cabot cheddar, spinach, caramelized onions, and roasted local squash.
PS they have one of the best bloody Marys in the greater Burlington area
Beth Platek
Fun, local joint offering sweet and savory crepes as well as appetizers and sandwiches. They offer Vermont brews too. The restaurant has been expanded - with both table and bar seats. Food is a bit expensive, so don't plan on walking out of there without dropping some dough.
Sean Russell
I enjoyed being able to have vegan options at the airport for a change. I purchased a black bean burger and French fries. The burger was sort of bland and the only ketchup they had contained high fructose corn syrup. I took the one star away for not having organic condiments. It would have made the meal perfect. Their French Fries were tasty.

This was love at first site for my fiance and I when we first ate at Skinny Pancake last year on a weekend trip to Vermont. The poutine made me fall in love. I love that they have kombucha on tap and use local ingredients in their food. Not to mention the staff is very friendly.
This was actually our first stop when we came back to Vermont for our honeymoon two months ago in October.
Susan Bennett
Interesting breakfast place, we waited probably 40 minutes total for our food, but 20 of that was waiting in line for our order to be taken. Doesn't feel like the most efficient setup for a restaurant.. but that aside the food was amazing! They had a gluten free and vegan crepe base so most of the menu could be modified if you needed. Plenty of options depending on if you are feeling savory or sweet.
Nancy Kusek
Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful food. I had the biscuits and gravy. Perfectly done with a taste that complements each other. A place I will come back to if I am ever in Vermont again.
Jade Stylistics
The Skinny Pancake serves delicious food. The lines can be a little long on the weekends but it's worth the wait. The beet hashbrowns we're definitely the star of the show. Crunchy and full of lovely beet flavor paired with the ranch, it was perfect!
Samara Densmore
I ordered the breakfast monster with a gluten free crepe and it was delicious. I ordered takeout online the hostess was nice and friendly at pickup.
connie robertson
This was a very efficient and delicious partial service restaurant with creative and traditional breakfast fare with a specialty of the skinny pancake (crepe). We enjoyed the heartbreaker crepes. We ordered cappuccinos but they weren't very warm, but it was a hot day so it worked out fine.
Steven Wilson
I like that the Skinny Pancake is open during the COVID pandemic and that they are taking it seriously - including: outdoor seating, taking names for contact tracing, limited handling of menus, limited contact with servers and required face coverings. On top of this, the food was really tasty. The Noah's Ark was a perfect blend of breakfast and dessert with two eggs, two strips of bacon and two sugar and cinnamon crepes. Staff was excellent and accommodating - we were even able to order a super plain crepe with no flavoring or toppings for an extremely fussy child in our party with no problems. Highly recommended.
arun ramakrishnan
Wonderful ambience. Great staff. Amazing food. Veggie monster crepe, sugary rush crepe, purple hash, drink selections were all great. Everything in the store gently hums the message of recycling to save the planet. There was love music on Saturday. Right by the waterfront. Definitely a must visit.
Abbi Carrico
Loved it! We went here while on vacation and we were lucky to be seated almost immediately, despite how busy they were. Placed our order at the counter, and it came pretty quickly. Crepe and iced coffee were delicious! I wish we had one of these back home!
Joseph NewYork
Excellent sweet potato fries, the rest of the food was mediocre. Burger was small, poutine was disappointing, cold bean salad was disappointing, dirty bottle top of hot sauce was upsetting. We should have tried the crepes.
J King
Their motto about good food coming full circle is totally accurate. We stopped in today at the Burlington location for brunch and had an excellent meal. The menu selection was extensive but we were finally able to narrow it down so we tried the Lovemaker, the Deja Vu, and the Apples & Brie w/chicken. All were palate pleasers. Plus the tea was hot and the coffee was top notch.
M G
Came here for lunch and there was a huge line outside so we figured to try it. They got a pretty decent selection of crepes savory and sweet. We ordered the cattle and Jonny crepes which has steak and pulled pork as main ingredient. Outdoor they had seating and a band starting playing so pretty great vibe. The crepes were tasty. Weren't the best crepes I had..the Jonny seemed too watery and kept falling apart and the cattle had a ton of onions bunched up in one side. But they were still tasty. They also had some good hot sauces to add.
J
The first thing that I noticed when I walked through the door was that all the meat options were sold out. Which is a great thing seeing how they clearly don't want to throw anything out in the evening. Downside is that everything that I wanted to taste was sold out what I had was good but left me hungry for more. Will have to go back to give it the 5* it most likely deserves.
Mark Wilkin
One word description...underwhelming. Noah's Ark was just Ok. Eggs were cold, sausage delicious, crepes just fine. Other people in party received stuffed crepe that was burnt, nearly black on one side. Filling was 70% red peppers. Not very good, in her words. I wouldn't come here again, and certainly wouldn't wait in a 20 minute line to get in. Oh, and you pay handsomely for average food. $11 for a breakfast burrito with Corner Bakery style table service.
Vidyadhar Nowduri
The waitress that was taking my orders wasn't completely friendly. It's almost as though she was having a bad day. The food however was worth the wait. The only hiccup are the fries. They were way too salty. I couldn't finish mine.
Steffie Pinay
Such a nice place to stop by for breakfast. First time in this place and we love what we had for breakfast, the makelover & the heartbreaker :) Thank you for the service, stay safe.
Allison Hey
Great little spot right on near the waterfront. I got the Lovemaker crepe. Which was phenomenal. The restaurant itself is cute and has great atmosphere. You do order your food at the counter then they bring it to you. Definitely a must if you are traveling to Burlington.
Andy Benevides (AndySXP87)
A great place with good food for breakfast.
The burrito was excellent, and so was the beets and sweets. Keep in mind there where no waitresses at this time and you had to wait to be seated and wait in line to order yourself.
Matt Takas
It was really crowded when we got there, so outside seating wasn't an option. It was rather noisy inside, but we managed to find a fairly quiet little corner. The food was really good. I had the Johnny Crepe, which had pulled pork that was surprisingly tender. A friend had the Breakfast Burrito, which was also very good. Great place to grab a bite along the waterfront!
Marcus Forelius
Consistently one of the best food stops in Burlington. Portions are filling, desserts are delicious, beer selection is solid, and you can’t beat the location. I had the crepe with the pulled pork and some had the chicken pesto. Both were absolutely delicious.
Cookie Cooper
Traveling for work to points around the world weekly, I can say this is by far my favorite restaurant! The food is delicious and service is impeccable. Thank you so much Skinny Pancake for an amazing experience. A must see visit in Burlington 😀 …
Fabiana O
Good food and service. Though I did order the Noah’s Ark and wasn’t able to have the meat side substituted for anything. I asked if i could get fruit or potatoes, but i was told it would be extra money.
ukpaul19
Was excited to try, left disappointed and expecting more for the money. The pancake lacked filling and left me wanting more. While the beet and carrot hash purples were pretty tasty, $5 for two pretty small discs is a little steep. What you see in the my photo came to $30+ and my wife and I left hungry.
Justin Kyle Tanner
SO. GOOD. My experience with crepes has been awful but this Reuben crepe was AWESOME. The prices were great and its a really cute place. Also picture is the blueberry crepe
Mezasu M
What a great place! The staff is friendly and they have unique vegetarian and vegan options that aren't just a salad!
Andrew Conver
Good coffee, great crepes, and they can all.be made gluten-free on request with different crepe batter. Good music on the speakers and according to wall signs, they have regular live music performances.
Mystz
Awesome breakfast spot! Ordered the “Noah’s Ark” and a side of homefries.
Anna Gardner
The food is amazing but loses a star for awful organizational setup. Tables are first come, first served... Even though we had a party of four adults the group in front of us (2 adults and a child) chose a table for 6 and were accomodated while we squeezed into a smaller table. As we sat we noticed two people sitting at a table for 6 and the group of four behind us were forced onto a smaller table again. After waiting in line to get a table (30 min wait) you then go stand in line indoors to place an order which takes up to 15 min.
While I understand that this may be to limit contact with staff or due to understaffing (the hostess was bussing tables and there was no streamlined waiting system) this all took away from the experience.
Again the food was excellent, and staff were very nice if overwhelmed. The lost star is only for the horrible waiting and table assignment system.
C C
The crepes are just ok but not worth the wait. To get a table, you need to wait in line. To order, you will need to wait in line again. There is no table service to take the orders. After wasting my 45 minutes waiting here, I noticed that Skinny Pancake has a food cart on Church St outside Starbucks, and there was no line! I would definitely recommend check that out first if you are not a fan of waiting.
Megan S
I've fallen in love with Skinny Pancake since my first visit to Burlington. This visit, however, was not great. We came in on a Saturday around 12:30... and waited in line for ~45 minutes. It wasn't because they had a ton of customers - lots of tables were open - it was because of inefficiencies behind the counter (you can see the line stretching out the door in the photo I've shared). By the time we were in the restaurant, there's a few items on the menu already sold out. We had to move to another spot in the restaurant...the area to the right of the cashier was cramped and has flies.
My favorite is the Apple & Brie Savory Crepe, but I got the Cheesy Pesto this time around. The iced coffee was alright - could use more bite. The Sugar Shack is exactly what you'd expect crepe+butter+ and maple sugar to taste like.
Overall, this particular experience have dampened my love for this place a bit. Maybe the other locations has better wait times.
T W tribbles
Been to Burlington twice and the skinny pancake twice. I would 100% go again. It's absolutely delicious. I like that I can get my own water, I don't have to bother anyone for it. I drink a lot of water lol
Dwayne Walker
Fantastic crepes. We also had eggs (over easy) and a breakfast burrito. All was very good. Try Tony's Hot Sauce with your burrito or eggs. Delish.
Casual setting, good for couples or families. There is a small stage and they regularly have bands.
They also have a bar with 8 craft beer taps.
Grab some breakfast, lunch or just a beer and then stroll through the park or along the waterfront.
Great spot!
Vyanie D
My breakfast was awesome. You order and then sit down. They bring it to your table. I enjoyed the place. I hear they have live music in the evening. When I'm in Burlington I will definitely go back.

We were visiting Burlington from out-of-state and this place was recommended to us so we decided to check it out. The Heady Burger was a hit w/my hubby and I had the Veggie Monster crepe and it was yummy too. The 'rookie root beer' was also delicious.
The only downside is that this restaurant is right on the corner and since we visited during Covid-19 we decided to eat at an outside table. If you do, just be aware that scooters and exhaust fumes will most likely accompany your meal.
Stephanie Nickles
fun, unique, tasty place. savory crepes are delicious as well as the chunky monkey sweet crepe. went twice in 1 vacation. the hash browns are very crispy on the outside, worth getting
Sierra Roman
My fiancé and I came here in a Sunday around 11am. The line was out the door and around the corner. We decided to brave the wait, and I’m glad we did! 1 hour later, we were sitting with our delicious crepes! My favorite crepe was the cheesy pesto! Their homemade basil sunflower seed pesto sauce is to die for!! Unfortunately, our dessert crepe fell a little flat :( we got the heartbreaker which was supposed to have a hazelnut butter spread in it, but during the cooking process it all melted into a thin liquid with almost no taste. However, they have several dessert crepes to pick from, so I’m sure their other ones are quite delicious! I would definitely recommend this place, but I would also suggest planning to get there right when it opens, or closer to 1pm when the line isn’t as crazy.
Elaine Mantinan
We stopped in here because the weather wasn't appropriate for the picnic we had planned, but I'm so glad we came in! The menu has a wide range of options, and they all sounded so delicious it was hard to choose. We got a sweet crepe and a savory one and both were delicious. All the ingredients were high quality and fresh. I'm not one to go back to the same place twice in one trip because I prefer trying new things but I'm so tempted to go back again!
Cody Cervenka
Vegan options, outdoor seating, live music, great food. There is a lot to appreciate with a neat place like this. The food was appropriately priced, the staff was friendly and handled the rush of people well, and they are open late. Will be back soon!
Jon Lauridsen
It’s okay. Service is nice, and great lemonade, and the food came fast, clean toilets, easy parking. And, well, they mean well with the food I guess, it’s just a bit boring crepes and salat.
Chris Mandeen
Awesome! The food was solid and I'll be back for breakfast tomorrow. We were there for a Tuesday breakfast and the big win was the performer for the toddlers. They had toys and music and I could stand back and enjoy my food/drink while the little one was entertained. Can't wait to go back

I live in Bretagne, France and we do crêpes a bit differently. The skinny pancake wasn't completely terrible, just not what I was expecting I guess. I ordered the apple and brie savory crêpe and the apples were crunchy and uncooked which was odd. I also tried the cider and it's basically juice and not an alcohol bubbly cider. The service is good.
LJ With no K
Very good food, I had the biscuits and gravy that also came with eggs. The eggs were good but the biscuits had a slightly off taste, even still they were good. I tried both flavors of coffee and they were both hot and seemingly fresh.
Barb Moore
Fantastic atmosphere. Delicious food!
Brittani Harris
Vegetarian poutine!!! Love the patio and the relaxed vibe here. You can hang out and eat without people on your back about turning tables over. Really appreciate this spot and love how close to the water it is.
Kyle S
Very good food and very accommodating. I do wish the portions were little larger. They do cater to gluten free and vegan diets
Sarah Klein
Everything about this place was amazing! Great food, service, and atmosphere! I particularly enjoyed the chalk table ^_^
MacKenzie LaBlanc
Even though we both got dinner, this will definitely be our go-to the next time we're in Vermont. My partner and I absolutely loved this!
Samantha Cassano
Worth the wait - delicious crepes & trust me…get the dirty poutine!
Juliana Shimer
Had a great time with my husband and my daughter. We went the week after Christmas and they were very busy. We sat on a table next to the host stand and we were impressed by Ruby, the hostess that was working at the time we were there. Ruby handled a long line and a long wait with patience, efficiency and professionalism. Even when people were being rude, she kept her cool.
They do accept reservations, and I would recommend making one or being patient if they have a wait. It’s worth it.
The food was delicious! Highly recommend and will definitely come back when we’re back in Burlington.
Nathan Peck
This very unique eatery has something for everyone. The food was excellent, and the service was adequate. I wouldn't eat here every day, but it is a great treat if you're in the area. The menu is so extensive I would love to try it all!
They were really busy at noon and we waited for 45 minutes in line just to place an order. As the long line extended out to the sidewalk of the street, their doors remain open and outdoor bugs were annoying us while we ate. Also it is a very loud place, so conversation had to elevate to hear each other.
Tina Lemay
The menu is misleading. The category Breakfast All Day -Breakfast Monster is actually a crepe. I was avoiding carbs, so this was going to be my only choice. I also ordered the Purple Hash, which was beets and carrots mashed into a patty, deep fried and served with a sauce.
The place was busy, so it was understandable my table was dirty.
The manager did offer me an optional bean crepe substitute and a 10% off coupon for my next visit. They have entertainment almost every day, and a great location near the lake.
Ryan Levering
It was very yummy and had a great Vermont ambience. Maybe crepe oriented options of savory and sweet. I would note the crepes are not as thin as what I would normally expect. They are more toward a pancake in the crepe spectrum.
Liesl Muller
I had the staff favorite: Johny’s crepe. Pulled pork filling in a delicious pancake with maple bbq sauce on the side. I’d been craving kombucha so I was glad to see they had ginger infused kombucha. All in all a good and satisfying experience.
Vernon Michael Hutchings
Used to love the place. Not anymore. Eggs were over cooked and dried, the crepes were dry, no real full service; one waits in a long line to order and then the product is brought to one's table. No beverage service, etc. The outside venue is still nice though.
SADIQ AL-HAJJI
Friendly and welcoming staff. They have unique dishes for breakfast. I had the Breakfast Monster and tasted delicious.
Brian Inman
After reading other great reviews I too stopped in to taste what this place was all about. I ordered the blueberry pancrapes with a side of bacon! Woah the pancrapes, a blend of pancake and crape was full of flavor. The crape created a packet to fill the blueberry filling and topped with powdered sugar on top. The bacon was a little crispy for my liking but still hit the spot.
Christopher Perry
They make crepes and serve them to me and I get to eat them, this is a service I appreciate greatly. I usually go here for dessert but the savory crepes are good, too. All around quality stuff.
Sam Fenn
Classic Burlington place. Delicious crepes, good VT food, and they usually do a good job fitting you in, even when it's busy
Stephanie Moya
Crepes for breakfast or dinner, basically crepes anytime, are a good idea. Although for breakfast with some Vermont syrup... Wow! Highly recommend. Had a short visit but managed to go to Skinny Pancake twice! Also there's one in the Burlington airport!
David Ghattas
Great spot to relax with some good food and take in some live music. Wait isn't too bad for as popular as the place is, line moves pretty quick. One of my favorite spots when passing through Burlington.
Sarah Loewer Terio
Really wanted to love this place. Great location and friendly staff. The side of potatoes is enough for two.
J Q
Lovely place with great food and awesome staff. Came here based on recommendations from the locals. Was well worth it.
John Bacelis
Delicious crepes! Preferred the savory ones (Chicken Bacon Ranch). New favorite breakfast place in Burlington
Megan Estes
Found this gem on our way through Burlington. A little pricey for a lunch, but absolutely worth every penny! Ample outdoor and indoor seating, and delicious fresh crêpes. I had the Apples and Brie crêpe, which was a great balance between sweet and savory. My fiancé had The Garfield, which was also very good. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Burlington again!
An Iz
FREE Crepe Day! Yum! 😋 I had a sweet crepe: "Sugar Shack." (Cabot Butter & Local Vermont Made Maple Sugar) …
Meghan Davey
Always delicious! I drive an hour from Plattsburgh just for these crepes and wow is it worth it. Can't wait to come back!
kramille
Pet friendly outdoor seating, variety of crepes but limited traditional breakfast offerings. Easy over eggs prepared spot on but hash browns flavorless except for cooking oil. Service on the slow side. Popular spot.
Nischinth Sadhak
Probably should have gone to the Albany location first. However, looks like I'm busy trying to pretend to work and giving attention to family members that dont really need my attention. After I visit the Burlington location, I ate one of the best crepes I have ever had and realize that the Albany location was just a block away from where I use to work. Looks like I need to start reading newspapers as my news notifications on my phone are more gossips than actual news.
However after further research I realized that the Albany location was only open a month ago.....made me feel a little bit better. We did try visiting the Albany location a week later, but should have checked the hours before we stopped there. Either way we visited some local businesses instead.
We had a 45 min wait but it was worth the wait. My experience is true what their mission statement said....."the skinny pancake is on a mission to change the world by building a safer, healthier and more delicious food shed while creating everyday enjoyment fun and affordable".....my mission is to taste everything on their menu that I can possibly eat.
Overall a great location, nice ambience and delicious food with a fast food experience.....as you order food at a window by the kitchen and they bring you your food to the table.
Lynda Marie Pibus
This is my favorite spot for breakfast. Their crepes are so yummy. My favorite are: the Veggie monster, Green Mountain, and Sugar Shack crepes. They use locally grown ingredients. Their cocktails are good too, particularly the Mimosa.
Hamed Chehab
Very nice place with great food. Staff were helpful and passionate. Seating is outside due to covid. Wait can take up to 15 mins on a week day (we went on Wednesday). Great experience overall
Kelly Pratt
I have always loved skinny pancake, fast and friendly service, and great food. They recently changed some things around and it seems they are moving away from a breakfast focus, no hash browns/purples anymore 😩. They used to provide a small side salad now it’s just five pieces of lettuce, to go with the crepe I guess? Kinda bummed with these changes and seems more limited options crepe than before.
Laura Schlaikjer
Our go-to for a quick, healthy bite near our son's dorm on the UVM campus. Always delicious food!
Rachel Manning
This is one of my favorite places to go when I am in Burlington. The food is a 5/5 all day. I'm knocking a star because I was there yesterday, June 12th, and whoever was running the register at 8:45 AM has no business being in customer service. She was so rude first thing in the morning, and made a huge deal about it when, within literally 30 seconds of placing my order I asked to switch out the bacon I had accidentally ordered with the Noah's Ark for sausage. You would have thought I wanted to change the whole order. Then it turns out the freaking sausage comes on the side, not even in a crepe so theres no way it was difficult to make that switch. The attitude I received (and witnessed at least one other person in line receive was just totally uncalled for. It did detract from my experience this time around.
Laila Walton
The food was excellent. It was pretty busy when we went in and they we're hiring and in need of more staff despite all that it was a great experience. it was what I believe they called partial service, so you were sat and your food is brought to you but you go up to order and they take care of your plates when you're done. Awesome food and cool experience totally recommend
Opo Herrera
Funny to see the business name with no Pancakes on the menu but still the crepes are delicious! (I had the burrito and my daughter had the Blueberry Pie).
The customer service is phenomenal! They act like a business owner and that is something rare to find.
Tessa Cunningham
My family visited Vermont in September of 2018, and we still talk about this place almost on a daily basis. Very good food and very cool atmosphere. We actually ate here twice on our vacation and even grabbed one last bite at the location in the airport. If you’re in Burlington you do not want to miss eating here!
Megan Ziomek
Put our name in for a table on Sunday but it was a 45-60 minute wait for a table so I ended up making an online reservation for Monday morning instead. I'm glad I did! The lumberjack crepe with apple added was fantastic, and the mimosa was a great addition. The self service style is great because we got up and ordered dessert when we were ready and could move at our own pace. The bottomless coffee was also appreciated!
Jennifer Aucoin
This restaurant is great. It is right across from the waterfront and has both indoor and outdoor seating. We choose indoor for our visit because of the heat. The inside had a great vibe. There is a bar inside that looked fully stocked so they must serve alcohol at one point. The host sat us and was very friendly telling us how things worked. You look at the menu at your table which is numbered. You go up to the counter and order and they bring your food out to you when ready. I got the veggie monster crepe. (By the way, 'skinny pancake' refers to crepes.) It was delicious. They have all types of crepes on the menu such as dessert, breakfast and lunch crepes that are decently priced. There is also merchandise inside for sale. I would check it out again.
Lana and Chuck Paone
Great (outdoor!) Northern VT November lunch.
Between two of us, we ordered three crepes, the apple and brie with blueberry, the pulled pork and, for a special treat, the chocolate and banana. All excellent! A very nice experience. Super friendly staff too.
Brian
Cute, trendy downtown (nearly waterfront) crepe - breakfast and lunch- restaurant. Generally busy when I've stopped by for takeout. Wait times usually 15-25 min during meal hours. Kind and friendly staff, with clean facilities and ample sitting room inside and out. Four stars only because I've had a few not-so-great crepes here and there, not a biggie, but with a name like skinny pancake you'd expect the best every time (I know I'm being selfish). All in all I definitely recommend a stop by if you're looking for a tasty meal in B-town.
Seth
Long wait, but great food. I will very likely go again sometime when I'm in VT
Ross McLane
This photo sucks because the food was so good I just immediately started devouring it as if I hadn’t eaten in months and couldn’t stop… then I was like, “shit this food needs to be reviewed!” so here we are now. Go get food here now.
Loreta K
Absolutely fantastic! Food was outstanding. Greg our server, who is also the General Manager, was kind, friendly, went out of his way to make sure our experience was great.
MOE Saadi
The girls treated me great
And the pancake is so good :)
stephanie Cunha
Long time Crepe skeptic here, but thanks to The Skinny Pancake I am a convert! I think I have never had a properly delicious crepe before, always mushy with the same old fillings, but my husband really wanted to try this spot, and I am so glad he did!! the creativity and freshness here blew my mind. I got the Big Monster (but added an extra egg because #protein) and its the first crepe I have ever had that I have LOVED! The pesto, the cheese, the squash and spinach all so delicious in a perfectly cooked crepe that was not mushy and was the perfect cocoon for that delicious breakfast ensemble. Bc I wasn't sure how I would feel about the crepe I got a small "eat your greens" salad which....wasn't small and it was also big on flavor. Fresh and delicious this was a healthy indulgence so good that I felt guilty leaving half of it behind because that Big Monster was so yum and I demolished it! Also. Nothing but love for that perfectly spiced bloody Mary...
My husband has an envious metabolism and got two crepes....one savory (the Johnny crepe with pulled pork) one sweet. He loved them both.
We loved this spot so much we ate here both days during out two day getaway. I can get other traditional brunch dishes at any breakfast spot I go to back at home...but these crepes 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Highly recommend!
Hafiz Mohammed Haneef
Wonderful selection of crepes!! Great combinations to choose from and nice as ambience to savor them!
hewlew
Loved this place! Was surprised that we had to order our food at the desk and then clean our tables but the food was delicious. We tried to make a reservation but they didn’t have it so that was disappointing. We would go back because the crepes were delicious and so was the breakfast sandwich we ordered.
Lisa Andrew
1st time there staff and service was awesome. Food was excellent highly recommend this place.
Audrey Cole
Great experience! I enjoyed a very refreshing arnold palmer while basking in the sun on the patio! Server named Cedar made a great drink.
Jenileigh
Interesting menu. Maybe we didn’t order the right thing, but definitely not worth 60$ Breakfast for two. Eggs were cold. Bacon was unimpressive. And I got chicken in my crepe and I was expecting grilled chicken or maybe chicken breast cold cuts. But it was shredded chicken that tasted like it was from the can.
The cheese curds were outstanding and everyone was super nice. Very clean cool atmosphere.
Steven Fournier
Amazing crepes! Came up to Burlington for a weekend trip and walked to this place and was pleasantly surprised.
Kathryn Geiger
Was in town for the night and grab some dinner from here on a whim. It was delicious and the crepe was a pretty good size. If I'm in town again would definitely stop here again.
Isaac Church
Overall, a mediocre experience. We tried several savory and sweet crêpes, and the poutine, and were not very impressed. We were disappointed that many of the menu items listed online weren't even available.
John Potts
Delicious breakfast. Had one of the season sweet crepes and a savory crepe. Was super delicious. Super friendly stuff and self serve bottomless coffee was decent. Will definitely be back.
Cindy Alvarado
Great wheelchair accessible location.. Excellent crepes and coffee and a fabulous bean burger. They even know how to put together a kickin Mexican coffee
M.Evergreen
Came here as an out of Towner, leaving a local.
The food here is the best I have experienced in Burlington so far.
Recommendation's**
Local beer: Drop In; RiverSong
Food: the Veggie Monster Crepe. Stuffed with roasted peppers and caramalized onions this is the perfect crepe.
Even just watching the food be made is Instagram worthy.
Come on Friday night to check out some local bands on the spacious patio.
Great spot for hanging out with friends and making new friends
Cat R
The staff were really friendly and it was a great vibe. However the cheese on my poutine was cold and the gravy was lukewarm and kind of gluey. Got a crepe and it was thicker than I expected.

Worth it, delicious food. Order sweet or savory.

Great crepes! Super delicious and a great selection of sweet and savory.
Madhura Desai
Cutest brunch place in Burlington. Crepes are delicious and very filling! There was a bit of a wait but we used that to walk around the lake across from the restaurant so did not mind it at all!
J C
A great variety of yummy Crepes at reasonable prices. Most of the ingredients used are organic and locally produced. Service was Fast and Friendly. The establishment clean, Spacious central located. The Skinny Pancake is a must when in Burlington.
Michelle Johnson
Overall great experience! If it's a bit of a wait depending on when you go, they'll take your number and text you when your table is ready. My partner and I spent that time on the waterfront admiring the view, the time does pass, believe it or not.
It's a self service style, so we were seated with a table number and menus to browse. When we were ready, we went up to the counter to place our order. I must say the smoothie was one of the best smoothies I've ever had, and the sweet potato fries paired with the pesto mayo is such a savory bomb I didn't know I needed. Chai tea has a strong spice to it, so not my favorite, but the sausage egg and cheese sandwich was yummy!
Danielle Cratch
Different yummy experience. We enjoyed all of our food.
Ronnie Mehelic
This place is awesome. Hands down, best crepes anywhere. My wife and I have visited on several occasions, and really enjoyed the crepe options, and the coffee varieties! I don't have any pictures for this one because I just devour the meal before I even bother to think about showing off the food here.
I really enjoy how they change out some of the crepes based on the seasonal fruit too. I've had their strawberry one during fall (which was awesome), and the cranberry one was quite well this time around. It's really hard to beat the Veggie Monster or Heartbreaker crepes though.
Excellent customer service both times. During Covid-19, everyone is wearing a mask, and most of the doors have an option to pull them open with your feet(shoes) instead, which is a cool detail.
Bill Campbell
Food is good, but place is often busy especially on holiday weekends or odd there is anything special going on in the area or at local colleges. You can call ahead for a reservation but not for outside tables. One odd thing that extends your wait is that after you get your table, you need to go to the counter then wait in what can be a long and fairly slow live to order so get right in line and look at menus there.
Cruzita Navarro
Delicious food served fast, fresh and and conscientious. Amazing presentation and attention to detail. The restroom is a bit off the beaten path, not exclusive to the restaurant and requires a code. Clean establishment, nice ambience. Definitely a good stop when you visit Burlington, VT.
Vernon Bostick
Food was good, crepes were delicious. The curds were amazing.
QuinnFord
Best crepes in Burlington. Hadn't thought to write a review a bout this restaurant until 8 months after my amazing night here. It was summer, and the seating outside during that time of year is great, you can feel the lake breeze. From what I remember, the nutella crepe was delicious as well, as their bacon and freshly squeezed OJ. Totally recommended.
judith Edelman-Green
Super fun. There is an option of healthy food. Great food and location. The bathrooms a bit of a hike away
Becky Bernabe
Awesome Crepes!!
Katelyn Miller
MUST EAT Restaurant for crepes and more! Yummy cocktails served all day. Staff does a great job of maintaining safety & cleanliness protocol. The food is beyond delicious. Would suggest making a reservation.
Kira Wirsig
So awesome! Lots of outdoor and indoor seating! Order inside before you sit down
Chris Olney
Perfect place to take my wife for breakfast on her birthday, and walking distance from our hotel. Cool vibe here, good selection of both sweet and savory crepes. Whole family found something they loved. Staff friendly.
R. Hard E
Noah's ark was great 👍😋, pesto sourdough sandwich 👍
Ryan Contino
The staff was friendly but was in no hurry whatsoever. We waited 40 minutes to get seated for a table (there were clearly tables available both inside and out, they just didn't get to us). This restaurant is partial service (that wasn't posted anywhere), so after waiting to be seated I had to wait another 20 minutes to order our food and drinks. The food once we got it was quite good, but the service model took away quite a bit from the overall experience
Bethany Thibault
The food is consistently delicious and the staff is super friendly!
Nicole Reynolds
Expensive semi good crepes had the heartbreaker was decent. The service was not worth the price.
Jillian K
been here 2 days in a row and the food is delicious and the gluten free crepes are amazing and i wish they had this place in florida:(((
Abdul Ibrahim (Charmante)
These are the COVID times, so the restaurant does deliveries on Monday, so they were out of a lot of things by the time I got there, despite it only being like 9:30am. Wanted to try the poutine.
Chicken Pesto Crepe was quite good. I wish the cheese came out a little more, but I don't normally like tomatoes and I liked them here.
They were out of the maple sugar for the other crepe, which I think changed the identity of the dish a lot. The maple syrup was good because we're in Vermont, but overall this one wasn't anything to write home about. Average restaurant coffee if you're into that.
Overall, solid breakfast, decent prices.
I'd go back.
Linda
Good coffee, the crepes are amazing and then you add the maple syrup and life gets better. Wonderful location near the water. Outdoor eating. You might want to make reservations this place gets busy.
Hannah Kim
Food was really good. The reason why it’s 3 stars instead of 5 is that the coffee came out 25 minutes after we ordered. I understand it’s a busy Saturday brunch time, but one shouldn’t wait 25 minutes for coffee. It actually was served to us after the food came out. And the coffee tasted like water.
Jim Hix
Food was good but way to pricey and not enough food. For me atleast.
Julie Ruby
I had the Noah's ark breakfast which was really good but a bit salty on the scrambled eggs. I enjoyed the frumpled cinnamon crepes with maple syrup. You order and pay before the meal and then have to wait for drinks , food and silverware. I had to ask for silverware with napkins when our tea and coffee were delivered to the table. I prefer getting them at the same time.
Jacob Smith
Loved the breakfast burrito, apple/Brie/blueberry crepe, and the Noah’s Ark. could not have been tastier! So happy I got to eat here. Truly a must for any visit to Burlington.
Miltha Martínez
Good place to eat. They have a lot of options for different tastes. Price $$
Jordan LaFond
Such a great location down by the waterfront! Local ingredients and delicious food!
Jeremy Swartz
I wanted to like this place. The idea of a menu filled with crepes. What is not to like about that? Well, it turns out the execution is the problem. We ate an early lunch, on a not particularly busy weekday. They were out of several dishes. Looks like someday needs help with planning and/or inventory control. There appeared to be plenty of people working but it still took 30+ minutes to get drinks and ~50 minutes to get 2 crepes. The food was good but nothing overly special. I should also point out that there were a number of dirty tables. Both from not being cleared as well as from haphazardly being wiped down. One should also note there is a playground in the middle of the restaurant. If your idea of a pleasant meal is a bunch of screaming kids on the weekend. This might be the perfect place for you.
Brock Foley
I enjoyed the skinny pancake. My crepe, the one with brie and apples and fruit chutney was delicious. My wife's burger was excellent. The service was good and also quick. The environment is fun and irreverent and surprisingly kid friendly. A good place to get good food. Can't go wrong with that.
Ashley Good
The food was very good but the wait time and the price seemed excessive. We waited in line for probably 35 minutes at least with the hopes that the hype we'd heard and the apparent popularity meant the wait would be worth it. My husband and I both ordered from the breakfast menu, my order was basically 2 crepes, scrambled eggs and bacon, my husband's was a crepe with Ham and cheese eggs (not exactly complicated). After the long wait in line it took more than 20 minutes to get our food. The food was good, but the portions were fairly small for the price. Perhaps it was just the Sunday morning rush, but my husband and I felt The skinny pancake fell just short of its reputation.
Valerie K.
The food is great. This place gets very busy which isn't always enjoyable.
Beth L.
Thought the spinach and artichoke was one of the best I have had. I got the crepe with apples, cheese and sausage. The inside was very good I thought the actual crepe didn't really have any flavor but I guess it's just the vessel. I went back and asked for side of syrup which made it a lot better so I recommend adding a sauce. Nice place by the water to sit outside.
Deanna Rothgeb
Due to Covid our wait for an outside table was way longer than we expected (and were told). We didn’t have reservations so that added to the problem. We decided to just order “take away” because we were so hungry and no one on the patio seemed to be leaving. We each had a crepe (mine was veggie and my bf ordered the barbecue crepe). Our crepes were very good but we felt pretty pricey and we were still hungry after! Good food but a little expensive for what you get!
Deb Fate-Mental
Yummy! Any crepe can be made gluten free. I loved that! Great fresh salads as well. Love that they use local ingredients. Very casual atmosphere. It's order at the counter then they bring your food to you table. I'll definitely go back.
Progress and Growth Center, LLC
Excellent customer service! Great music! Great selection of local Brews. Veggie monster crepe, Cheese crepe and Fries were excellent! (Putin and Cheese curd topping the fries were a bit bland). The Apple and Brie crepe was intensely cinnamon flavored, (did not end up eating it).
Ellie Carrassi
It's a really chill Burlington staple. Always gotten a good meal, and sometimes I catch live music if I'm lucky.
Aaron Seaman
Dirty kitchen, busy place, great fricken food and good staff! 😂 Just like I like 'em. Would recommend again and again, just watch your weekend timing. …
Veronica Faustino
Incredibly long wait on a Saturday ~2 hours (which was not fun with kids) but great alcoholic beverage and AMAZING crepes. Latte was good- not great espresso. The host was so so friendly and woman at the register was very helpful.
Tully Fletcher IV
This place is excellent. Loads of menu options to choose from. Sweet crepes, savory crepes, salads, and more. The atmosphere is great and friendly for people of all lifestyles.
I was there for breakfast, had the blueberry sweet crepes, but it looked like they also had a wonderful beer selection. If I had had another night in Burlington I would have come here for a drink or three.
Emily Malsam
It was delicious and a great "tourist" stop as we passed through. I had the fanciest tasting biscuits and gravy ever and the rest of the family had different crepes.
We decided it is more of a 2 person place than a family of 7 due to prices, but everyone enjoyed their meals.
Maeve Horn
The crepes, both sweet and savory, are heavenly! However, because of how incredible the crepes are, the line was very long. In line, they do offer coffee to be paid for at the register, and free water, which is always appreciated. The seat yourself style makes it a great place for a relaxed meal.
Valerie Vega
I was looking forward to eating here since I arrived. I was hoping the food would have been as nice as the place from the outside. The eggs were overly salty and my sausage was burnt. The pancakes were just OK. The only flavor I could taste was brown sugar and powdered sugar as it was drenched in both. Such a disappointment but I imagine they are popular due to its location and terrace. So sad.
Kayla G
I had the pulled pork crepe and OMG it was delicious! The coleslaw served on the side was actually quite disgusting (no sauce, extremely dry) but the crepe made up for it. My fiance got the breakfast burrito and he said it was very good. Very cute outdoor patio area, would recommend!
Daniel Fosterman
We went with a group of 6 4 out of the 6 enjoyed their meals. They were sold out of the non crepe items which was a bummer. Me and my wife thought ours were fine. I got the brisket special and she got a mediterranean style crepe. They messed up the order and comped the item they missed which was nice. The staff and very nice and were accommodating.
Chris Paganelli
Great crepes! Wonderful breakfast! Delicious food in a very cool atmosphere in downtown Burlington.
Damie Lynds
Dont question where to go for breakfast. Go here!! I now want some after reviewing this.
Alexandra Ostwald
Not your typical french crepes restaurant. We all had breakfast but didn't walk out feeling loaded down with carb over load. The simple cheese and eggs was heavenly. Lunch looked tempting to come back for more.
sanjay ramanathan
Very thoughtful and creative place. Environmentally conscious. The food options are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the savoury and sweet pancakes. Everyone of the staff was extremely courteous. We went on new year's eve when there was a lot of crowd and live music. The bartender was equally gracious. Top notch experience.
Hessam Dehqani
So delicious. What a polite manager. Kids gave the burgees and crepes 5 star and my wife gave the early riser a 5 star. The only suggestion I have is to work on the way the kitchen and the chef looks. From outside the kitchen looks so dirty and the crepe cook very messy with no hat and a lot of beard. As soon as you go past that everything becomes better. The staff and waiters are very helpful and as I mentioned the manager is very involved and helpful.
Molly Maroney
Delicious, good quality food at affordable prices with quick, efficient service in a cool location right across from the Waterfront. Most foods sourced locally. Business is very involved in community initiatives.
T L
The food was delicious. Our two year old wouldn't let us enjoy the meal so we had to rush, but we hope to return when we can relax some day

This is a local chain serving breakfast all day and specializing in crepes. There is no table service, you must order at the counter and place the number on the table you choose to sit at. They do bus the tables after you are done eating. The staff we interacted with were really nice and welcoming. The food was good. Be prepared for a long line in the morning depending on the time of year. We arrived when they opened to avoid the line we saw the morning before.
Laura Manasewich
Gluten free crepes! Delicious food, super friendly service, worth the wait.
Stephanie Dicesare
Enjoyed our breakfast at the skinny pancake! Great laid back atmosphere and delicious food!
Eric Dorward
This place isn't going to be for everyone - that's the most accurate thing I can say about it. The crepes are good albeit unconventional. Crepes take time to make, so not a great choice if you're in a hurry. Service is limited to bringing out your food. Inside is dark but the patio is very nice if the weather cooperates. The bathroom situation is decidedly strange. The biggest surprise is that they sell drinks with CBD in them. If that appeals to you, great; if you have a problem with that, this place isn't going to be for you.
Erin Wolfe
Delicious! Even the kiddos raved about the skinny pancakes. Highly recommend. We got here at opening and had no problem eating. They were getting busy as we left around 9am.
Jude Sommerjones
People waited in line which went out the door for hours. Delicious coffee! Great crepes! Ideal location!
john sell
All hype. This place had a line down the street. My girlfriend and I were here on a biking trip (from out of state) she was familiar with the restaurant and told me how great it was. We stood in line for what felt like forever just to order breakfast and then when it arrives I get sausage on par with frozen Jimmy deans (although they say it's all locally sourced) my eggs were way over cooked and the crepes were so bad I couldn't bring myself to eat them. Obviously people like this place, my GF certainly does (she's vegetarian and our tastes couldn't be more opposite) but this was not a place I'd be able to recommend. The only pleasant things I could say I enjoyed were loaded fries with vegetarian gravy and the coffee was really good. The coffee is why they got an extra star out of me.
Darrah Foster
So so good! I wish I could have had two! I got the apple, brie and cranberry chutney crepe. I loved every bite! Be prepared for long lines. I waited a half hour for my crepe to go, but it was well worth it. It would have been nice to sit in there and enjoy the live music while we ate, but we were heading out of town. Cute vibe
Jared Steele
Went on vacation, this was recommended to us for a breakfast place. The crepes are astonishing. I think I might not eat pancakes again! The food is brought to the table, you order at the counter, pay, and then are able to grab any seat. They bring you the food and are very happy to do so! Very great quality and presentation. A must eat!
laura ruhlman
I have Celiac and the gluten free crepes were amazing. It has been a long time since I've had crepes and both the sweet and savory crepes did not disappoint.
jennifer warner
Awesome food, friendly staff and the atmosphere is relaxing...my new favorite bfast spot
Joanna Bisceglio
Stowe village delicious quality Fresh selection. Health-conscious Service was friendly and prompt. Enjoyed our dinner immensely and the drinks as well, simple and so... just really yummy goodness. Skinny pancake is just as good for dinner as for breakfast!
Melanie Burger
This place was funky and fun. My husband and I stopped in on our way out of town and loved the local art on the walls and the locally-sourced menu. My husband ordered eggs over medium, which nobody EVER gets right, but they nailed it. I had the chicken and mushroom crepe cake which I thought was only okay -- a little too much going on -- but came with an AMAZING side salad that I really enjoyed. The service was friendly and it was fun to watch them making the crepes behind the counter.
Chris
I really like this place. They've decent coffee and OK pastries. It's there main dishes that make their menu shine.
I've tried some of the sweet crepes and have not been disappointed. The "skinny nachos" are also quite tasty.
Other pluses: wifi, outlets, and outdoor seating.
Danny Groshong
Delicious crepes, fast service and a full bar at 10am!!!
Nick Davis
The skinny pancake is not as what I expected. Locals do hype this place up to be a must go-to. My feelings are based on the service and vibe. The food was great, but I was just thrown off by the cold and impersonal service. The one thing I loved was the smoothie - so delicious. There are other great breakfast restaurants to try - this place is ok.
Harper Voyages
OK, be warned that there is great demand for this place and deservedly so. Outstanding food!!!They are doing the best they can to manage wait times with a texting protocol, but it makes it appear to the people standing in line that other customers are jumping in front of them. Patience is rewarded here.
Joseph
This is a cute and quaint place. It's quick easy order and the semi self seating makes it a very desirable breakfast location. Overall the quality of the food however was not amazing but right in the middle. The coffee was coffee, some of the ingredients were clearly not made fresh or well stored and somewhat dried out from the day before. I would probably give them a second shot to see if this was completely circumstantial.
Darrin Lary
Enjoyed fresh local ingredients and cool vibe
Amanda Graves
I love this place. Great crepe creations, wonderful people, and incredibly active in the local music scene! But if you need to use the restroom, find an employee, first! The restrooms are far away from the main joint and require a code for access.
Leo Tow
I have eaten at several of The Skinny Pancake's locations over the years. The staff are always friendly, the food has always been great, and, as someone with a serious gluten allergy, I appreciate that they treat allergies seriously. You won't find the broadest selection of crepe options if you are vegan and gluten-free (like I am), but what they do have is delicious.
Nicholas Kucher
Great food, cozy atmosphere in the morning. Sister got their gluten free crepes which are made from chic peas and we're really good as well. If the coffee was better it would have gotten 5 stars.
Jackie Bassett
Great place offering savory and or sweet crepes. Unique beer selections. The coffee is excellent. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is excellent. Warm, friendly, casual place right next to water front in Burlington Vermont!. It has live performances.
Jonah Moos
The food is great there. Amazing flavors. I love the poutine with vegetarian gravy, the seeing, and the pesto. All of the sweet crepes are fantastic too. It feels a bit pricey for the amount of food you get, though.
Rikee Million
The crepes here are amazing. I got the breakfast crepe monsieur. I loved the location near water, and def must try the beet hash brown things. So yummy
They have great bands come play at night.
Huge long line in morning sometimes but bring your coffee, sip and wait... it's worth it. They have a weird bathroom down an animal painted hallway. Kinda cool for kids
David MacIndoe
Had a decent breakfast here. It's set up in a nice atmosphere, especially when outside enjoying the nice weather when it's warm. The crepes themselves were ok. Not bad but I've had better. Personally I like mine more eggy and these were a bit more cake-like but not so much so that it was a pancake. That's just more of a personal preference of mine but if you like crepes a bit cake-ier then you'll like these ones. Ingredients seemed fresh too. Coffee here was decent unlike most breakfast places. I wouldn't say this is the best breakfast in Burlington but if you're craving crepes, this is the place to go
Pamela Olson
I was very excited to try everything after reading about it online but I was underwhelmed. The hash browns were hard and overly greasy, the eggs were overdone and everything was overpriced (for a counter service restaurant especially). I tried to think, am I being overly critical because of the prices and the seat yourself, get your own coffee setup? But no, I don't think so. I compared it to what I was used to in my area of NC. I thought it should be very comparable. The food quality (and I'm mainly talking about the actual prep) just wasn't up to the standard it should have been. I guess I could have been there on an off day...
Ciera Fessman
My go to brunch spot whenever I'm in Burlington! The food is to die for, the atmosphere is classic Vermont and the staff are charming!
Amanda Blubaugh
Amazing food with an amazing atmosphere! My whole family has been going for years and we've seen it grow from just a cart on Church Street to the restaurant it is today. Creative menu for adults and kids. And speaking of kids - when the stage isn't being used for music, there are usually toys and a huge chalk board for doodling and entertaining the littles.
Janelle Schultz
I'm visiting Vermont for the first time and I was told the Skinny Pancake was a must-try! I tend to be hesitant with crepe restaurants as I'm not a huge fan of the sweet crepes but the skinny pancake had a large portion of savory Crepes. I went with the Garlique Chic and substituted the chicken for Italian sausage. It was great! We got the fries on the side which were also very good. It was a little pricey for the portion sizes and considering we order at the register but they're doing something very right as they are everywhere in the State! Great, unique idea!
Jacob Ledoux
If I had to rate the Skinny Pancake, I would give it a ten out of ten. I ordered the johnny crepe, a side of fries and a vanilla creme soda, they were all phenomenal, I would recommend it but I also don't get out much due to living directly in the country so I might just be excited over eating out at a good restaurant.
Shawn Jones
We visited this location during the COVID pandemic from out of state. We had no idea it was a chain, and I was blown away by just how creative and outstanding it was. This specific one has a beautiful view overlooking Lake Champlain, and they everything set up for outdoor dining. Unlike other restaurants, they had the clever idea of having you walk up, with your mask on, to order your food when ready and pay up front. Your food is then delivered to your table, and since you have prepaid you can eat and leave when ready. They have a variety of crepes in their selection with a few staples such as eggs un varying styles. You can order alcohol with breakfast if you'd like. I ordered the ham, egg and cheese crepe with a side of vermont maple syrup, everything was made perfectly. The flavors blended perfectly for a savory/sweet experience, and my girlfriend ordered the breakfast burrito (the wrap is actually a crepe itself!). The ONLY downside of the experience is that the ordering style can make it a bit more of a process if you would like refills on anything.
Amanda Carter
We came here by accident on a Friday night. We heard the music playing on their patio from the bike path, so we wandered over. We enjoyed a beer outside and the inside smelled heavenly. We came back on Sunday for lunch, and there was a 3pc bluegrass band. The crepes and hush puppies were delicious! The food took a bit of time to get, but the band and the coffee made the time enjoyable!
Anne Vag
Best freaking crepes I've ever had! Great coffee and staff is attentive!
Mark Tremel
Pancakes are skinny but you may not be if you eat what I did. I love crepes and this place makes them up to perfection. Get here early for many of the most popular items were already sold out by noon. They serve breakfast all day so we arrived a little late. Coffee was great too. A real eclectic find right in Waterfront Park.
Stephanie Ryan
Great place! Food is delicious. Best poutine I've ever had and of course the crepes are delicious as well! The only reason it's a 4 star instead of 5 us because it can be extremely crowded.
Timothy Johnson
We're tourists here but from what I understand, this place is often busy. Takes a long time to order and receive food.
That granted, the food is excellent. We got the breakfast burrito. It was made with a crepe instead of tortilla; a nice twist that produced a delightful result. The purple hash is nice with ranch and mimosas are generous.
Overall: wonderful brunch spot, low-key atmosohere, long wait for food.
Elizabeth Bulger
Great food, great vegetarian options. Got the Hail Seitan savory crepe. Kids loved the breakfast crepes. Cool atmosphere. Love the live music and that they use the stage as a kids area when not in use. Would return again.
Braeden
It's kind of slim pickings on the menu, but that's not too big of a deal. However (and I'm not sure if this is because of Covid), they take forever to get you your food, and they don't bring out appetizers first, it's all one big delivery to your table. Food is also pretty good, but not great. Overall, an average experience.
Anas gaming
They're always friendly!
Try the veggie monster, make sure you get a side of pesto mayo, you'll have to ask for it, but it is so worth it!
Definitely don't torture yourself, try this place!
Ji Hache Fou
This is the best brunch place. The food is great. They serve crepe with local maple syrup. There is live music, we listen to blue grass show when we went there. Yhe staff is great. This is a must-to-go place in Burlington.
michelle W.
Pork crepe was pretty good, hamburger was also very good. They offered blueberry soda, which was delicious. The pizza crepe was not so great. Portions are large!
Anh-Christine
A variety of sweet and savory crepes using local ingredients. Fast, efficient service. Their music stage turns into a kid's play area during the day - perfect for family brunch outings!
j.j. mcnamara
Breakfast burrito AND Vegan Monster were basically tasteless. Huge opportunity to bring on the flavor, but... swing and a miss (bigtime). Surprising, because the menu description makes them sound flavor-packed. Have given SP a few tries and been generally happy, but likely will go back for the occasional beer and entertainment, not the savory food menu. Staff was great as usual!
Liu Dambolena
Love this place for lunchtime. It's our go-to place for lunch when we are in Burlington, specially because they have vegan/veggie selection. We've always had the vegan selection on the menu and it's always been good. Last time we were there we also got the purple hash and we loved it! Will definitely go back when in town.
Paul Sears
Fantastic crepe options as well as other menu items. Great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friendly service and good options at the bar mixed with a laid back inviting atmosphere all paired with great music and entertainment throughout the week make this one of our regular spots in Burlington.
Jason Hyde
Amazing Crepes but pretty slow. Also, you have to go up to the counter to order. Great food, better lighting and layout would make this 5 star
Kayla Wingfield
Food was FANTASTIC, and the setting is wonderful! Employees are great, with the exception of the hostess who is bitterly rude and almost ruined the experience upon entering. I highly suggest retraining in customer service, particularly when that is the face of contact upon entry.
Irene Waldock
I bring my parents here every time they are in town! They have an amazing array of crepes but don't breeze past the other food on the menu. Their poutine and hash browns are to die for! They also have local bands featured right in the restaurant and kind and friendly staff! You won't be sorry that you went!
Stan Payne
This location is in Burlington, Vermont at the Waterfront and they are right off the bike path. They are one of the best place to have breakfast food all day. They do serve crepes, breakfast burritos, breakfast wraps, nachos, a specialty pizza, etc. along with coffee, tea, espresso, beer, wine, cocktails and other beverages. Their staff are super nice and friendly and they will serve you in a timely manner. Outdoor seating is available when weather permits.
Bob Dinaburg
Everyone seems to want to eat here. When you get your food you will know why. Locally sourced and cooked to order, the goodly amounts are filling and reasonably priced.
Sophie Aurora Dahlia
Delicious crepes for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! A very creative menu and natural ingredients. Live entertainment on a regular basis, revolving artwork always keeps an air of freshness. The whole place has a very warming and earthy feel, very inviting.
A. P. Blake
Very easy to order online. The crepes were outstanding! The hot chocolate was awful, so steer clear of that, but everything else was so good that they're still worthy of 5 stars.
Caitlin Lei
My husband and I came here when we first started dating and loved it! Over 10 years later we just had our first visit with our little one! There was a long line to order on a Saturday at noon, but the food is always worth the wait. This is also one of our go to spots to bring out of town guests. Highly recommend.
Steven Lareau
Outstanding! The food was great, everybody was friendly. I had some questions about the "Skinny Vegan" I ordered and the manager, I think his name was David, went above and beyond to make sure the food was exactly how I wanted it.
I highly recommend this place.
Matt Grev
I will start by saying that crepes are not exactly my thing. However, my wife very much enjoys coming to the skinny pancake as they have a variety of options that you cannot get any where else in Burlington such as dessert Crepes and savory Crepes. We did enjoy our food once we got it. However, I must say that it takes an extremely long time to get through the ordering lines during busy times and even longer to receive your order. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that it takes a long time to make crepes.
Justin Boivin
Great restaurant, would recommend having a reservation as a line forms early. Great food, nice unique experience and really one of the best cups of coffee I've had.
N.S. F.
Ok, the place itself would get a 4 star rating. Very good crepes, and yummy skinny nachos....but what got it a 5 star for us tonight is the awesome live music of Band of the Land! Do yourself a favor and get yourself an outdoor table for Thursdays in July (7-9pm) You won't regret it!!
XXX OOO
The best thing about skinny pancake is the choice of savory crepes, shift meals red curry is my favorite savory. For the sweet crepes, Noah's ark is a great breakfast choice with maple syrup drizzle.
dipika
Crêpe heaven! Both the savory and sweet menus were long. I really like that they have vegetarian and vegan options, plus creative specials each day. There is also a full bar.
Rawss LeBlanc
Nice atmosphere, good food, good coffee, and good service even with the "semi self serve" angle.
Good portion.
Amina Meniai
Amazing brunch spot near Burlington Waterfront. Offers a great selection of savoury dishes. Mainly local sourced.
A lot of space inside and outdoor seating available.
Staff is super friendly and efficient.
The Hash Purples are a must have
Isis will
Outstanding service, delish food, but restroom is hella far! I would still come here specifically for the poutine. I like their covid precautions, I felt safe and comfortable. I highly recommend. They serve DRANKS too!
George Young
Biscuit and gravy was amazing will never try anything else! Great relaxed atmosphere don't go if your in a rush because they are always busy it's not a fast food joint so just relax and enjoy the patio with a view of the water. The walls going to the restrooms were so cool and they had music to go with them if your driving through or in the area this is a must!!!!!
Aavery Mundt
Excellent crepes and a nice outdoor seating area. If you are in Burlington this is a must stop for breakfast. Don't mind if there's a line it moves quickly and is probably just because people cannot figure out what to order. Sweet and savory choices with a great selection of local brews if you happen yo be there for brunch.
Sam Post
Awesome place! Local and delicious, famous for their crepes! There always seems to be a long line here but it is worth the wait and awlaysoves quickly so don't be intimidated! Ample inside seating as well so don't be deceived if the outside is full as well.
Kali Malmquist
We were visiting from NC and were excited to have some crepes and Vermont maple syrup! Both my husband's and my plates were delicious. We had to wait a short period, but one of the employees brought our pup a bowl of water on the porch, which is always a plus!
Dan Pieterse
Authentic Vermont! Different in a good way. Food is pretty outstanding, but service is slow and needs attention. Wide variety of crepes available and locally owned.
Very pricey for what you’re getting.
Ginger Brick
Loved the atmosphere, loved the staff, loved the food, smoothies, and cocktails. Easy to get a table. Cool mural on the way through to the restrooms in the Peace and Justice Center.
Christine Gavrilles
Went for breakfast with our toddler... No kids menu/super kid friendly meal iptions, but shared mine w our munchkin which was fine. Food was decent, serve your own coffee, but the best part was the little stage (usually used for live shows I'm guessing) that had a little kids picnic table, toys, books and games to play. Kept our little own entertained while we waited to be served, great idea! Nice low key/casual atmosphere. Not sure we'll be back in this time around, but not sorry we went. Thanks!
K F
Delicious crepes, amazing beer. Had breakfast and ended up staying till noon drinking and enjoying a great band. Very relaxing! Line was long to get in but man is it worth it.
Raquel M. Gerardo
Cute, tasty and friendly service. They were fantastic at observing the "SD" (Social Distancing) guidelines. I was so busy enjoying my food, that I forgot to take pics. :) Will definitely be back!
Matthew McLean
This my be my favorite breakfast place in the world. Both times I have gone, I got a savory crepe and a sweet crepe. The cocktails are very good as well. The lines can be long but the bar almost always has walkup seating. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Burlington, vt.
Kimberly Dillon
Excellent quality and price with delicious gluten free crepes also. I had one for breakfast and the Heartbreaker for a dessert. Both excellent as was the staff. I forgot to say gluten free and remembered when I sat down so ran up to tell them and they were completely accomodating and relaxed about it. Coffee was excellent also!
Richard Kenney
I often find myself here for coffee on a day off and coming back for great music in the evening. The food is always great, though not cheap. But the quality is what you pay for, along with the experience of eating by the lake.
Phyu pannu Khin
Really really slow service! The food is good but it takes forever to get served and when I was there, some food items were missing in my order and so I had to wait extra longer. :(
Heather L Boyd (Connolly)
Great food. Odd that you have to order inside instead of just at your table and that there are no servers really but that's not to say that that is a bad thing. Drinks were made well and the atmosphere was wonderful!
Eric Lucci
Simply amazing. Where else could you enjoy such great food in such a warm friendly environment? The live bluegrass band wasn't bad either. Skinny pancake was a most pleasant surprise on my weekend trip to Vermont. Will most definitely be back!
Adam Solomon
Had a very good vegetarian poutine and nutella crepes. We came in around 7:45 PM. There was no real wait, plenty of tables, and everything was ready fast.
The laid back vibe is very family friendly. I saw another table with a bunch of kids playing a card game. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The bathroom -- shared by a number of establishments in the building was very clean. It's also its own attraction, well the hallway to them is. You really have to check it out.
Peter Keller
Delicious crepes and great variety. The regular stream of customers speak to the quality of the offerings here. Orders are placed at the counter at which point you find a table and the food is brought to you. As a parent of two small children I appreciate this system.
Christian Travel
Nothing else maked your day brighter when you
encounter an employee who is nice and empathetic.
Excellent customer service skills from TESS.
From SOCA😍Chris.
Andrea Griffiths
Breakfast was great. The wait in line was long (30 minutes) but expected it since it was Saturday morning
Diego Herrera
Does not disappoint!!! Seriously have tried out so many restaurants in Burlington and it is amazing how mediocre these places with good reviews are. Skinny pancake is far above any of these restaurants and I am always happy with anything I choose from the menu.
Erin Sulva
A nice place to get some quality crepes! A little expensive, considering crepes are super easy and cheap to make at home, but I appreciate that they are environmentally conscious and make the effort to use local ingredients in their dishes.
Quentin Hodges
Whenever I visit Burlington I try to dine at Skinny Pancake. My companions and I had breakfast there on Saturday and our meals were so good that we vowed to eat there again before we left town.
This morning we went back to the same location. I ordered the same thing that I had on Sunday, the Noah's Ark. My companion ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, and her daughter ordered the Lovemaker. Surprisingly the line extended to beyond the front doors for our entire visit, and sadly, the quality of service suffered due to the crowd.
My companion and I both ordered scrambled eggs, but the eggs that we received weren't scrambled. Her daughter's crepe came without Nutella. I walked over to the server's area and asked for Nutella and was promptly given a small serving of Nutella, but since it wasn't inside the crepe it turned into a mushy mess.
I was tempted to rate them three stars based on my recent disappointing visit, but I know they usually deliver a friendly, delicious experience. Hopefully this was just a fluke. I still highly recommend SP.
Get it together, guys and keep it consistent!
Max Eddy
A restaurant specializing in sweet and savory crepes near the Burlington waterfront. The food was good and our service just fine, but the loud music out front was a bit much for us. Dog friendly outdoor seating is available.
Todd Schock
Great food and the cider was delicious. I recommend making reservations so as to cut to the front of the line. We did it while waiting in line.
Brian Conklin
Food is done right awesome. Great service and friendly staff.
Marc Scrivener
We stopped in recently for live music and were surprised at the quality of the band. We only had drinks, but we really loved the overall vibe and all of the patrons seemed to be having a good time. We'll definitely return.
Dan Galvin
The sassquash was very good as a savory crepe, but the sugar shack was sub par. I have had much better crepes in NYC. Most of the sweet crepes had Nutella, which limited the options for those who do not like Nutella. Would not go back. Love Burlington though.
Wesley Burbank (LostSushi)
This place is the actual best restaurant in the whole country. Keep up the great work everyone. So kind and tasty, couldn’t ask for a better treat on a long lovers weekend.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 …
Aditya Singh
Excellent crepes here! Loved the variety of options and flavors and the vegan options as well. Food was delicious and was presented beautifully and my friends loved eating here! Would definitely go again.
Joe Wehry
Relaxed atmosphere, near Lake Champlain. The shredded beet and carrot side dish is very good with a crunchy, carmelized exterior and moist veggie interior. The slightly bland, but good portioned, breakfast burrito got a helping hand from the spicy salsa.
Tabby R
Very quick and wonderful service. I loved their variety of savory crepes because I really don't like sweet crepes so it made me real happy. Love the garlic one A+
Saverio Roglieri
Little chilly when we sat outside but the crepes were great. Recommend adding apples to the lumberjack crepe. Also dog friendly
Bonnie Bloom
Didn't think I was much into crepes, but savory was the way to go. The salad was the most generous portion I've ever received at a restaurant.
Matt Therrien
Great food and atmosphere. A regular when we are in town. We haven't been lucky enough to have a chance to catch any of the music events but it seems like they have a good selection of local talent that goes through there. Worth a stop by if you're in the area.
John T
A really good variety of tasty food. We all got, you guessed it, crepes, today but the salads and other items looked tasty too. The line was literally out the door today so not the spot for a quick bite but we enjoyed it.
Lisa Abbott
The wait in line took about 20 minutes and started on the sidewalk but it was okay. The vegetable hash was well seasoned but some of the veggies were really hard. Eggs were perfect and everyone should try the beet and carrot Hash Purples.
Heather Smith
Food is fun and delicious! Lunch outside or inside, I really enjoyed the surroundings. After lunch, the perfect location to stroll the waterfront. Bike paths nearby, ferry access, easy parking, boat docking. Yep, by far, the best!
Patricia S
Cozy restaurant serving delicious crepe breakfast, choice of savory or sweet. If you want a heart breakfast with eggs, sausage or bacon, there are choices that come with a simple crepe. There are vegetarian and vegan choices too. My friends and I enjoyed our meals.
I had “Breakfast Monster - Fried egg, Cabot cheddar, Basil-Sunflower seed pesto, roasted squash, caramelized onions and spinach in a crepe. $11.00”.
My friend had “Noah's Ark - Two eggs and style, two pieces or bacon or sausage and two frumpled cinnamon sugar sweet crepes with a side of VT maple syrup.” for $11.50.
My other friend had, “The Henrietta - Roasted Jalapeno and Garlic Spread, Caramelized onions, local chevre, and spinach on a scallion crepe, with your choice of chicken or seitan. for $12.00”.
Gabrielle Bills
Laid back ambience, chill staff, accommodating... But it's not a place I seek out for a meal. The seitan was dry and not particularly well done. They've got a good selection of beers on draft.
Suzy Carby
Delish crepes, i had the savory Brie and Apple with some pure maple syrup, yum. Friendly staff. Wish i could eat more the menu is "right up my alley". Here's a picture of the skinny salad.
John Gockley
We ordered and were told they were out of caramelized onions and red onions could be substituted for a upcharge. I ask if the price was reduced if we opted out of onions. The answer was no. After recieving our order we had caramelized onions and red onions. The food was fantastic but what a business practice. I addressed the concern with Criss and he refunded the up charge.
Gabriel Morales (gojito)
The crepes were ok but took way too long for the simple process that entails making a crepe. Also, their hashbrowns were blackened which ruined the taste. Not worth the wait for the average level quality of food.
Elizabeth Lang
The food is very good, but the service is a little funky - it’s too big and too busy for counter-style ordering. I hope they’ll consider regular table service. For the record, the Montpelier restaurant consistently has outstanding service as does the Church Street food truck and The Chubby Muffin.
Steve Gagne
Different sort of breakfast food from what I'm used to. Crepes are pretty great. It was all excellent. Attractive environment that blends well with the surrounding area. An overall great experience for us.
Danielle Radcliffe
Casual place for a drink and small bites..bathroom is in sort of a weird spot down a hallway that requires a code but that's my only real complaint
Heather Matthews
Outdoor seating, live music most nights. Delicious food. We've only had breskfast here, but sandwiches look good too. Close to the bike path and city center.
Sidney Gallaway
I loved this place! Love that they have recyclable straws! I got the Choco Monkey. Delicious!
Alicia Barreno
The great location is just the start. Local foods used for the menu, I've tried most everything on the menu, my favorite the Veggie Monster, my son's is the Choco Monkey. But don't forget the fried cheese curds! May be a small wait at the counter, but they serve food very quick.
Brian Yarwood
I always enjoy my visits to the Skinny Pancake. Hand made food from local ingredients, washed down with interesting local beers. You can find a wide variety of music in the evening. Well worth the trip
Evan Goldfried
A Burlington institution...high-quality ingredients that comes out quick. Try the chicken and pesto crepe or the fries with their various dipping sauces. The line can get backed up at peak hours but it usually moves quick enough.
Nathaniel Bellmore
Didn't know what a crepe was or how to eat it... they told me to throw it up in the air and try to catch it with my mouth, haha.
That was a challenge I didn't accept. Nor when I was called to the stage by a buddy playing a show. Oh well.
If ya want some great food and good entertainment with a laid back vibe, this is the place to go.
Molly McDougall
My husband and I shared the Crepe Monsieur and the Deja Vu for brunch and they were the perfect sweet and savory combination...so delicious. Our only regret is that we want to go back and the closest one is over 3 hours from home!
Khalid Elachi
One of the main restaurants in downtown Burlington - great for breakfasts or brunch. Their savory and sweet crepes are delicious and most items are connected back to the local area.
During the nice weather times, be sure to sit outside and enjoy the people watching. It's also a college spot for Champlain students just up the street.
Youssef Benghziouil
Food fresh and delicious very busy restaurant but worth to wait !!
Todd Spain
This is another gem in Vermont. Words cant explain this place. The food is totally awsome and the staff is great. It's a must go and grab some from from this awsome establishment. The best part the use home grown food from all the farms around. Great job everyone.

The process of ordering and getting food could be better. There was a rush and it took an hour just to order. Once we got the food it was delicious though. I wouldn't wait again for an hour but it would definitely be worth stopping in if there isn't a long line.

Expensive tourist/boutique localvore medocre crepes. A nice treat once in a while but the cart on Church street is all you really need if you don't want the pretentiousness. Minimum pre-programmed gratuity is 18% on the check out, for breakfast service, is all you really need to know.
Beth Clemons
Great locally sourced food, good service and friendly faces. We went back for more!
Melissa “芽利咲”
The place is really comfy and is great for long conversations. There is a bar, there is a stage for live performances, and more importantly, the good is amazing!! Local food served well. I'd recommend this place if you have more time.

I really like the savory crepes at The Skinny Pancake and the ambiance. Inside, the tables have slate tops and you are provided chalk to draw on them. And the outdoor area is nice too.

The food was wonderful, comparable to other good breakfast diners. Tuesday morning, which was the day I visited first was a treat. A half dozen or so preschool aged children were playing to live eukalayle music.
Joe Hannon
Ingredients really are wonderful and the staff is good but... most of their items are not very filling on their own, this will turn into a pretty expensive outing. Service is glacial. Even at the least busy points of the day expect to wait 20-30 minutes for a single person order.

Wow!! After a long bike ride we stopped in for a later lunch. We’ll be back every day but not when it’s super busy. The food and service are excellent.

Something weird happened to me last time I was there, after a few hours of drinking the elixir and listening to a great live band my life had meaning, I could fix all the first world's problems, people were beautiful to me again and my wife was the most beautiful woman in the world.
It's just that the next morning I realized I was divorced, naked in a bed and a guy name Dan was screaming for me to get out. Can't wait to go back to this magical place again...

We ordered breakfast at the Skinny Pancake - Croque Monseur and Noah's Ark. Both were absolutely delicious and enhanced by the VT maple syrup served with each of them. I really enjoyed watching them make the crepes while we ate and can't wait to return and get a blueberry crepe.
Serena Giglio
I could eat here every morning of my life. Seriously
Andrew Swift
Burlington location of local favorite healthy food restaurant. Live performances and occasional shows featuring The Moth Radio Hour. This location is larger and has great character. Always ask if they have what you want before ordering. Popular plates can sell out. Outdoor seating is popular, right near waterfront. Connected to Main Street Landing, which is home to movies and shows. Street parking and city parking is paid most days. Great to walk to if you are staying downtown.

I had the Deja Vu. It was fantastic!

Skinny pancake is is one of those places which sounds really good on paper, but may not deliver on all that's written.
Read the menu and u wish u ordered everything. Then things u ordered turn up on the table and u dig in.. And u feel, OK.. Thats OK.. Not exactly what I thought..
And that after u had to stand in a long line, and had to fish for a good table to sit.. Yes, this place is super busy.. Yes, there is place to sit inside and outside..and yes, parking spots are few.. And not free..
So promising place for sure.. But u may not get your moneys worth.. Or may be, I had a not so good day..
Do try it.. What's the harm..

Best crepes this side of the atlantic and a beer selection to match.

From its humble beginnings on Church St. Skinny Pancake has come a long way. I've never tried something I didn't like here. My favorite item is a special, the breakfast poutine (fries, cheese, sausage gravy and over easy eggs... yum), I wish it were always available.
Dino
Easily one of the best food destinations in Vermont. Great selection of beer & crepes. The staff is friendly, casual vibe, & outdoor seating except during the winter.
wesley boncore
Bit of a long wait while we watched the place empty before we were called. Crepes were amazing, staff was nice enough. Not quite a blast
James Gerhart
Got the Garfield and froed cheese curds and both were great. I have a food allergy and the staff took their time to verify that something is in these two items that I can't eat, so the kitchen made it without that sauce. Thanks!
Kristina Klivan
Amazing breakfast! Portions are a nice size. The crepes are delicious!
Scott McCracken
Inventive crepes made with local ingredients, but overall the menu seem a little expensive. Perhaps you're paying a bit for the location near the waterfront? Make no doubt, it is a great spot but that often means it's packed. The service is slow, but decent enough.
Regina Valeriano
Fantastic place for breakfast or brunch. It's a large establishment that serves as a restaurant and a music venu in the evening. Lots of charm and friendly faces. Very cute place. I'll definitely be going back.

Good food.. easy ordering processing.. order at the counter, pay, and they deliver the food to your table.. the food was great.. huge selection of food, a lot of creative ways to use crepes.. it can get busy at peak eating times.. I recommend trying this place out

Awesome friendly local spot with amazing food

I had the BTVegan, a crepe filled with pickled jalapeño and veggies. The crepe itself was quite brittle and didn't have much flavor. Recommend looking up a recipe for Socca, a chickpea flour crepe popular in the S. of France. Guacamole was deeply discolored but tasted ok. Pico de gallo also looked like it had sat a while. Water glasses had a heavy sour smell indicating it's time to run a cleaning cycle on the dishwasher. Coffee, however, was excellent.
Jason Chance
Food is always excellent. Skinny fries with pesto mayo are fantastic. This place can get crowded on weekends. But it's worth the wait.
eric davis
Make a point to eat here at least once everytime we come up. Amazing food and great local atmosphere. You may wait a little, but grab a seat by the door and enjoy the show by watching the atists make your crepes. Also, try the poutine.
Paul Branchaud
Great breakfast. Fantastic coffee. Service is decent but not the fastest when busy, but the overall vibe is chill. Impatient people should seek out other, less delicious options.
Kathleen Cooper
we try to go here whenever we are in Burlington. Line is long but worth it. I got a veggie monster crepe...don't worry they will add breakfast sausage. Yum!!
Gary Way
High on my list for breakfast lunch. Simple food very well executed. Only slight issue is that sometimes it can get crowded, but thats not their fault! The live music is a bonus!
Jason Broughton
Attended a professional networking event for young to mid 50s professionals of color. Nice ambiance and lots of room. Spoken word, poetry, open Mic and bands can be seen here.
Drew Coel
I went to the Skinny Pancake for the first time about 6 months ago and I know I should have gone earlier, trust me. I got a delicious dish with meat and cheese and maybe pancakes too. I don't know, but I'm kind of a mixed eater. I eat food combinations that most people may find weird. Anyways, if you're visiting Downtown Burlington, The Skinny Pancake is a MUST!

This place is a Burlington anchor across from Lake Champlaign, with a delectible selection of what else, crepes thus the skinny pancake moniker. They also have an amazing selection of beer including the legendary heady topper. They also have live entertainment, a play area for kids, an outdoor patio to sit and view the lake and drink beer during the warmer seasons. After you stuff your face and get your fill, you can take a stroll along the lake and burn off some calories. There is also a sustainable earth store in the same building giving a warm vibe to the whole building. UVM is of course nearby as well as downtown Burlington. This is off the beaten path a little from downtown, but definitely worth the extra steps or drive. If you like beer and crepes this place is heave, if you don't there is still plenty of other fare to choose from.

Tasty. Crepes was reasonably portioned. Unlimited cheap coffee. Tables were a bit small. Deja Vu was pretty tasty. A little strange with the cheese ratio
Kasey Woods
There are so many different food options here. You can always find something for your sweet or savory craving. I love their Crepadilla, so if you're a quesadilla or cheese fan definitively check that out.
Contessa Onesky
Food was wonderful. Staff was kind and responsive.
