Great view of Lake Champlain while dining. Service was attentive and pleasant. Delicious Bloody and other cocktails were also tasty. We had Coconut Shrimp, well breaded and the mango sauce was really good. Also had a grilled chicken club which I enjoyed. Highly recommended!

The location is absolutely beautiful and the service was great. They also allow dogs which was a bonus for us. The food however was just so-so for the price. I expected a $29 lobster roll to be amazing, and it really wasn’t at all. I’d definitely come here again for the atmosphere though!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Perfect weather for my first visit to SPLASH next to the ECHO center in Burlington VT. Stayed three hours overlooking Lake Champlain enjoying my friends, the weather, Spirit of Ethan Allen ferry boat ⛴ passing by, the beautiful sunset and people watching. Paul our waiter was effective, efficient, attentive and got all four of our orders correct all night. Highly recommend.

In the Vermont area for work and I thought I'd try out a local place. The view of the lake was amazing👏🏾 but that's where the sparkle ended. I ordered the fish and chips for $19 only got one piece of overly battered haddock that was dry and not seasoned. Also the batter wasn't completely done. Fries are fries and a minute maid lemonade. Service was lackluster although the young lady that took me to my table was very kind. I guess you're paying for the view only. Wouldn't return.

Absolutely gorgeous views from this restaurant. Really unique and has a great vibe. Staffs were nice and gives fast service. The food and drinks were nothing special, but you mostly go here for the experience.

Perfect spring lunch on the water. First day open for the season on a beautiful spring day so there was a wait. Put your name in and stroll the boardwalk or grab a brew at the bar. Lobster Cobb salad was excellent. Fish tacos were very good - but they are not fried so more of a fish salad taco. Sweet potato fries are perfectly crispy. Have a Fiddlehead draft and enjoy the view of the Adirondacks across Lake Champlain. Is that Champy?

Luckily got there shortly before they closed for the season. Good food, great view! We ended up ordering a lot of fried food, it was just our vibe at the time. But I'd like to go back and try some of the other options. Small but decent beer selection. If you're around and the wait isn't super long, you should go.

Beautiful views, but not the best drinks. Not bad. Just ok. Also the best, shaded seating is only for if you are eating. If you just want drinks you have to sit at picnic tables out in the sun.

The Autumn Experience

The view is unbeatable, the food is skipable. We've eaten here a few times now to sit and enjoy the lake/Mountain view. The menu is kinda small, but the biggest let down is that none of it is good. Seems like frozen bar snacks and sub par lunch items. If you are just looking for a cocktail and some vitamin D, this is your spot. Expect a wait if you are going at Sunset.

Very good food. Good server (Hannah). I ordered shrimp and salad plus a side of fries because a side salad 🥗 would have been $9 whereas a side of fries was$6. Hubby had lobster roll and fries. All were delicious. I was stunned that cocktail sauce was unavailable...not part of the kitchen's inventory. What?? At a seafood restaurant??! Hannah apologized repeatedly but could only offer tartar sauce. I opted for plain ketchup. The only other detractor was the extreme bugginess of the upper deck. Note: if you have limited mobility, this might be a challenge. There was a ramp to get on the dock but once on the float, there were steps several places.

We visited to enjoy the sunset & have a few drinks, so we were seated in the bar area. The view is really just spectacular & we would have stayed longer, but unfortunately, we weren't having a great time. The deck seemed to have a few too many tables squeezed in, as waiters & other visitors repeatedly bumped into us while attempting to move through the tight spaces between the tables. The line for the bar blocked the flow of traffic on one side while staff running plates out to tables blocked the other. Speaking of the staff, they were literally running they were so busy. We wanted another round, but gave up after realizing our waiter got pulled to cover the bar. I flagged down another waiter for the tab, who was kind enough to get it. I hope our original waiter got the tip!

This is the quintessential "lunch spot on the water". Even better have a cocktail and stick around for sunset. I recommend the clam chowder and the coconut shrimp!

Perfect place on a floating dock right on the lake! Gorgeous views!! Friendly staff! Good, fresh food. We are vegetarian. My husband ordered veggie burger with house made chips and coleslaw, which he said was very good. I had the hummus platter which was delicious and fresh, and more then enough for one person! It was a bit pricey (everything is pricey in Burlington) but the view was worth it!!

My wife and I stopped in to Burlington while taking the scenic route home from dropping our daughter off at college in New York. Happened to eat lunch at splash on a whim and glad we did. Food was spectacular as was the view. Service was great and given the chance we'll definitely stop here again!

My boyfriend and I went there to observe the sunset over the river. The food was surprisingly cheap and tasty because I thought it would be a tourist trap. The drinks were delicious though there was an issue with one of the ice cubes containing a moth or an inset. They replaced the drink promptly and I had no further issues. It began to pour at one point and they were very accommodative in even inviting us to sit inside and eat. Worth the views!

Fast friendly service. Awesome view. Delicious fish tacos. The drinks were a tad in the limp side for my mother and I. My only other issue was the distance from parking to the boat house. If you're lucky enough to get a close spot with a handicap plate, it's still at least a 300+ foot walk to the boat house then navigate the boat house with ramps. My 85 y/o Mom was able to get there with her walker but too pooped for the walk back. Thankful her walker was a seated one. Vroom vroom. But the view was fantastic. I'll go again but probably with out Mom.

This was my first time to this restaurant and I will definitely return! Our waitress was fabulous so amazing and very attentive despite it being busy. When we sait down she notticed my son (4yrs old) was getting ancey because he was hungry. So she asked if she start by getting him food and drink. While waiting we stopped at the bar to our drinks so we were set with those. When she brought my sons food and drinks back we were all set to order! It was beautiful watching the boats coming in and out plus the sun was starting to set. They ask for a phone number so they can message you when the table was ready. By doing this it allowed us to be going to park to let my son run and get his energy out!! Overall very satisfied and will be returning! I highly recommend this restaurany!! Also it is dog friendly!!

This place is a must for viewing the sunset in Burlington. As a bonus, you can enjoy some reasonably priced drinks and food. For boaters, this is a good dock and dine location. In summer, the sunset on the Lake Champlain is really the star attraction! So head on down to the water front after enjoying Market Street and unwind here and enjoy some good food, drink and the sunset. 4 star for the views, service was nice but food is not good. If it was food alone, would give it 2 stars but because of the location and friendly service rating it higher. Good place though to grab a drink and watch sunset, would skip the food next time though.

Amazingly this was my first visit, it won't be my last! What a wonderful way to watch the sunset. The drinks were well made and the food, fish tacos with sweet potato fries and the haddock fish fry alone were worth the visit. I would have gone for just the drinks and the view, but was pleasantly surprised by the rest.

What a great place to unwind from your day with a stunning sunset and wonderful views of the lake and beautiful boats. Fairly priced for fun typical lake side meals like fish tacos or fish and chips. Service was fantastic. A must try if you’re in Burlington!

Food is good but not noteworthy. Wait times can me long on nice summer days so plan ahead. Views are among the best of any in the State of Vermont. Staff is nice, but service can be on the slow time when it gets busy. It would be nice to see if they were open a bit longer on the weekends and add some better lighting. There is a dock here so If you are out on Lake Champlain there is plenty of boat parking and the staff helps dock. Best place for dining on Lake Champlain!

Loved the view we had at the waterfront! I had a yummy frozen piña colada! The food was okay. I wished the sweet potato fries my partner had wasn’t cold when we got it. I also wished that my taco salad had ground beef instead of veggie burger. I don’t think I would come back due to the lack of care in the food. It was a bit pricey for the okay food we had

A "dock dog", pineapple sorbet, and a nice cocktail already make this place a must-visit. But that view takes it home. Service was super friendly albeit a little awkward at times. Do yourself a favor and try this place out! The best place to relax after a long day on Church St.

Hard to beat this location. Restaurant sits on a dock with Lake Champlain and Adirondack views. Staff was really friendly and food was decent American fare. You're really there for the location, views, and vibe.

Located at the Community Boathouse, right in the heart of the Burlington Waterfront Park. Train station, bike paths, public bus route... Seating on the docks!! Boat tie offs. Bathrooms, food and booze...what more do you need? Great music, the sounds of a blender, and that wonderful essence of motorboat fuel. The most beautiful views of Lake Champlain and New York ADK skyline. Also Port Kent ferry docks and the Ethan Allen cruise boat dock. If you are going for the sunset, wear a sunhat. The Caribbean has serious competition here. And the food is excellent.

The setting of the waterfront is lovely. Staff was friendly but the menu (though tasty) was limited and quite pricey. $80 for two adults and two kids with no apps or alcohol. This would be a great spot for drinks and ambiance on a nice day, but families might seek friendlier pricing elsewhere.

Best sunset view in Burlington? We agree. Right in the lakefront. Great craft beer, no fuss bar self service. If you want to eat then turn up early as they stop serving food just before sunset. Unbeatable.

This is a fine place to grab a bite to eat by the lake. The food and service are about as mediocre as you'd expect from a touristy eatery, but the view is nice. The upstairs patio where we sat was infested with wasps. They didn't bother us, but it was a little unsettling.

Very nice place. It's right on the docks so the view is spectacular. The food was rather good also. The one thing to remember is the bees. You may need to cover your drink with a napkin if it's a lemonade or soda that bees will take interest in. I did no try this, but it may be worth it to ask if you can have a mint leaf put in your drink, as to keep the bees from flying into the glass. Minus the bees, it is a great place for dinner.

Coconut shrimp and lobster roll was superb. They even charged my phone for me and the drinks were delish. I caught them on their last day, as they are seasonal. The warm breeze was heavenly, coming off the water front and the entire staff was amazing! I will definitely be there when they come back! Before I went home, I took a ride on the ferry, amazing views all around.

Great food, great dining service! Was a little hiccup with our reservation, so they had us wait for a bit to figure things out, but once resolved we had a great dinner on the water on a beautiful 90° day with nothing but sunshine! The Splash Lemonade was delicious and refreshing and the fish tacos were very yummy. Will definitely go back!

The property was cute and a beautiful view but I ordered chicken strips with buffalo sauce and the cook forgot to toss them so they gave me the sauce to do it myself and it was cold because they keep it in the refrigerator. Needless to say it made my chicken cold. The food wasn't great all around

This place is great! $9 cocktails, $4-7 craft beers, taco salad is with black bean burger, also great. Hand cut chips and pickle with sandwiches were delicious. Also, fantastic view. Only complaint is that they can/will not split checks.

The view here is spectacular. Tacos were very good, service was great. Typically they only sit you right on the water if you are getting food, but they told us that up front, which was nice. My only somewhat complaint would be their beer selection- in a place like VT where many people are traveling to burlington just for the great beer, they should have plenty of fresh offerings. The beer i ordered was 6 months old..... still tasted ok, but was moderately disappointed.

Amazing!! This was our favorite eating experience on this trip! It was so refreshing to sit on the dock and have a nice meal. We watched boats come in and dock. The dock crew would go out and secure their boat. Our server was very nice and our food was delicious. One of the servers did knock over my drink but they cleaned it up and made me a fresh one so no big deal. The wait staff was very professional and polite. Being two small town girls from land locked Kansas we definitely enjoyed this water front experience. We tried real fish and chips and new england clam chowder here. They were both delicious. Our only issue was just finding it since there aren't any posted signs and our gps only took us to the parking lot but we managed..I would highly recommend and if I ever come back through this I will definitely stop in.

Our server Morgan was amazing. We were suspect of the veggie bean burger. Most places aren't that great. We asked our Morgan who told us she is a vegetarian and complimented how good it was and so we indulged. She was 100% right. Best we've had. Fries were nice and crispy just the way we like them. The location on the deck to eat was worth the wait. We initially were told 35 minutes for a table and that they would text us whenever our table was ready and it only ended up being about 20 minutes, however it was around three in the afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

Everyone was super friendly! We sat next to Jimmy Buffet (well a guy that looked just like him) and a former radio announcer for sports. Lobster roll was very good. A bit different than the warm New England one but delicious! View was spectacular!

Beautiful view being right on lake. Staff was ok...not rude but, not that pleasant. Husband had a lobster roll and it was small and tasteless. Drinks good but expensive. $65 for 1 lobster roll and 3 drinks. Wouldn't go back...definitely taking advantage of tourists

We were seated immediately at a table right on the water. Beautiful view of the lake and adirondack mountains. Boats can park at the dock and get food and drinks. We had burgers and some switchback ales. Both were very good. Friendly service and atmosphere.

Sat at outside bar with no wait. A table was a 45min wait. Ordered the Fish Taco. Menu described as: haddock, shredded lettuce, mango salsa, shredded cheese & chipotle aioli in a flour tortilla with sweet potato fries & slaw. The haddock was shredded & mixed w the salsa & if it had cheese..it was also mixed in w the fish along w the chipotle aiola. Minimum lettuce was on the bottom. Shells were very chewy. Dish lukewarm at best. Fries were nice & crisp but not hot. Slaw very tasty & draft beer was cold. From order to serve was apx 10in. Main food: 4 Side items: 8 Service: 8 View: 8 If I return I'll order something else in hopes it will be better.

If this restaurant were anywhere else it would be a three star affair, but the views and the location are what splash is all about. The food is pretty good, prices are about par for the course, and the drinks are okay, but you are eating on a floating dock watching the sun set on Lake Champlain. The fact that you can pull up on a boat and dine is also nice. A word of advice: If you don't sit in the shade at lunch, YOU will be the lobster by the time lunch is over. A very fun summer spot in Burlington.

My son Brandon came to visit me and he tried me out in bed so we can go down to the lake. This is a floating restaurant on the water and you can just about touch the boats. We went on a beautiful sunny day. It was 80 degrees and the chicken ranch Burger was delicious. Service was fantastic too

You go to this place for one thing, the view which is stunning especially for sunsets. The drinks are fine but the food seems all prepackaged and sourced from Sysco. I will be back again for drinks to soak up the view and more sunsets, just not to eat.

Beautiful view and pretty good food. However, this place could be much more elegant than it is. The bar upstairs only accepts cash and the staff upstairs seemed relatively inattentive. Moreover, the drinks are wildly over-priced. The bathrooms are dim and difficult to find, which is not cool for a bar. This place is all about location more than anything else.

If the weather’s nice and you want a drink or a casual bite to eat while watching birds, boats, mountains, and the sun reflecting off of a beautiful body of water, this is your place. If I have one complaint, it’s that the guacamole is mushy and not as firm or chunky as I’d like.
