Great bar food. I tried the Turkey Club Sandwich and it was good. I enjoyed the live music and the place has a great atmosphere.

Surprisingly great food for a small sports bar. Wide selection of beer on draft at fair prices. Service was excellent. Lots of daily food and drink specials are available. This is a great place to drop by for a quick bite that won't break the bank. We really liked the sweet potato fries! Seating is limited to small tables and the bar, so it's best for small groups. We will be back again for lunch next time we're in Burlington.

Reuben James is easily the best sports bar in Burlington (maybe even vermont), and a great place to catch a game. NFL sundays are truly special here. Aside from that they have fun weekly events, reasonably priced beer, and best of all actually good bar food, the barbecue Burger is a standout for me, but you can go wrong with the wings or the nachos either.

I have mixed reviews on this place. One time, it was great. Friendly staff, great food, great experience. One time, terrible staff, not willing to cooperate, very rude and unresponsive. Food was good both times. However, service was hit or miss. Clean place, good food, you're on your own with the server you get.

Sports, wings and beers 🍻. Killer bar food and deep fried oreo dessert rocks... Place could use friendly hot chick bartenders that can actually bartend. If you don't mind having to beg for every beer then it's great! Service business is clearly dying a slow death so you can't get down on anyone but seriously it would be nice if people learned to pretend at least a little bit. Dudes here are all solid and the manager is great. The rest of them make me wish I stayed home so I could reach my next beer...

Great downtown bar with and restaurant right on main st next to the theater. Used to come back here in college and found its still the same old RJ’s (which is a good thing). The food was good (1/2 off burger special on certain days), the service was top notch (our server was awesome) and overall my group had a great time.

After numerous tries from other restaurants for wings, we decided on RJ's. And we def don't regret it! Dry rub, garlic parm and lemon pepper were all bangin'! In my opinion, the best bone-in wings I've had from the greater Burlington area! Thank u for satisfying our craving! ~ Nina, Flip and JoJo

Came into RJs for dinner, it was a Friday night and surprisingly it wasn’t too crowded. The food selection was about average for bar food. Maybe a bit better. There were plenty of TVs for keeping up with the latest sporting events. The staff were friendly. They were very helpful when I asked them to switch the channel on one of the TVs so I could watch a hockey game while enjoying my meal. I give it a four star rating though because you could tell that the bar is catering to more of the college scene.

Went here solo for trivia night and ordered the Chicken wings, amazing 👏🏿 Came back the next night for a Live band and ordered the Turkey Ruben, it was so good. My friend ordered the invincible burger (plant based) and it was great too. I'm going back today to try the veggie burger. The bartender had great selection for my preference and I found a new cider. I will come back whenever I'm in Vermont

I'm ashamed to say I've walked past this phenomenal food purveyor at least a dozen times without giving it a 2nd thought. We just recently ordered online from Ruben James a few times and everytime has been a delight to our taste buds. Their sandwiches, wraps, fries, appetizers, and fried foods are a delight. I highly recommend this place and look forward to going there in person when the weather warms.

Simply put: one of the best spots in Burlington! Food is wayyy underrated, drinks appropriately priced, with different food and drink specials depending on the day. No place I'd rather be for sports, food, drinks, and late night fun! Thanks for always being great!

Phenomenal wait staff and great customer service all around. The wings were my preferred and I tried several different sauces but by far my favorite, the BBQ VT maple sauce is the go to. So much so, I came back and ordered more the next day. Trust me when I say, if you are a fan of wings and delicious sauce, it will not disappoint you one bit.

Prices are right where they should be, honestly more affordable than most places in Burlington. Music can be overpowering at times but that just may be my affinity for well aged tunes. Overall, would go again.

They have really great wings specials, even occasionally free wings. All the food I've had here is good - nothing fantastic but very solid bar food. Beer selection is good. It's mostly a sports bar during the day, although they start playing music and have some dancing later at night.

Depends on what your looking for. This place had great food and friendly staff. But this is very much a college town bar. Not the type of place you want to bring your family or first date. College bar smell. Loud music and people yelling at each other because of it.

Lots of beers and a full bar along with a large menu to choose from. A good spot to hang out with friends to chat, drink, eat and watch the game.

Ive been here more than once, usually come for the wings which are AMAZING!! I prefer "kitchen sink" myself, but the food is always really good. They have a nice selection of beers and drinks and the bartenders are really friendly. I am by no means a "regular", but feel like I get that extra bit of service when I go in.

8.30. Time for a burger and a beer!! Big screens with sports, good music and super friendly waitress! It is what it is. No fancy stuff, but what the do do, they do well!! Loads of draught beers to sample and big portions of great bar food! My burger was awesome! College students did start coming in at half 9 but they were fine. Made a nice change from the restaurants along Church Street:)

I can't eat salt and owner accommodated me with some sweet potato fries without salt. Hope in 2022 the trivia woman is back on Tuesday nights. Very fun and creative trivia. Different every time.

The food here is excellent and affordable, try their nachos, they are amazing!!! We always stop in when we visit Burlington. I'm also a big fan of their beer selections from local breweries! Definitely check it out, it's much more than a bar!

Try the delicious black bean burger. It is from Vermont Bean Crafters, and is cooked perfectly. Nicely crisp on the outside, and very satisfying. Their fries are great, too!

If you’re looking for a great sports bar that has any game you’re looking to watch, amazing food, and fantastic service, this is your spot. RJs has been the place to go from when i was younger and in college. the nights i’ve had at this place will forever be a fond memory for me. A place where I came home for school breaks to meet back up with childhood friends to reconnect and celebrate. I recently moved back home for a few months (covid-work-from-home-situation) with my partner and we continued to come back to RJs for drinks, football and basketball games, and to just have a good time. RJs is by far the best bar in BTV. the service is impeccable (love u miya, jackie, and zach ) the food is also REALLY delish as well- get the buffalo or kitchen sink wings, southwest egg rolls!! RJs will always be a home away from home for me and hopefully a home Away from home for you. love y’all!!!

I ordered the Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich special for $12.00. It ended up being a processed chicken patty (think school lunch) instead of a breaded chicken breast. Kind of ridiculous that they would charge $12 for that. Fries were pretty good.

Food good. Service not so good. Had to beg for a beer. Food came out after beer. Had to beg for napkins and a fork. They put wings on table with no napkins, can you hear me? I'm talking 15-20 mins waiting time. Can't serve all tables with one person. Good thing the Red Sox game was on...

I just wanted to commend your server Helena on how she handled a group of terrible customers on Sunday. A few of them have taken to the reviews here and on Yelp in order to lash out at her because she didn’t (and honestly shouldn’t have to) bend to their every whim on a super packed night. Timothy Hatgen and his friends were some of the most pushy and insolent customers I’d seen in a restaurant in a long time. They should all be embarrassed. It’s difficult to read their reviews because they are nearly illiterate, but from what I’ve gathered they don’t have a clue about what it’s like to work in service. Disregard their silly reviews as this place is the best in town to watch football, so long as you’re not a whiny little jackass!

My friend showed me this great hangout when I was visited as he's friends with Ruben who gave us a friendly wave from the kitchen. Everyone else is very friendly here too. Perhaps it's the Vermont Way. Lip smacking chicken wings (different flavours) are the order of the day or night at this cheerful Americana bar. Don't miss!

Great deal on great wings everday at 49c a wing. Good beer prices on good beer. During football season you can watch the games on the big screen. Also fun trivia on tuesdays and kareoke on sundays. Definitely a favorite!

This place was the only place I had gone to in Burlington where our group of friends had a bad time. It was new years day, and someone had definitely called out that day, so I'll forgive some of the service mistakes we had to deal with. There was some decent food and drinks here so i'll give it 3 stars but that's really all I can say...

I have always thoroughly enjoyed my time in coming to this bar - it has a special place in my heart. But, I have to commend an experience I had with a specific server: Helena. Helena was kind, funny, outgoing, and provided great service all around for food and drinks. Most importantly, Helena made me feel welcome, comfortable, and at home at RJs! She served us our drinks right away and provided great customer service. I have been going to RJ's for over 3 years now, but I will definitely be going back again soon because of the great service and overall great experience that we had the other night! Good wings and staff, bad beer, and bad nightclub. Go for the wing-deals, have a pitcher or a couple pints, then leave before it goes into club-mode. All in all it's a regular pit-stop, it would be great if they brought back their old wing deals though (prices have slowly stepped up to 30c/wing).

Sports bar environment with thumping bass and a lively crowd. The food was pretty fair and service was as fast and kind as possible given the busy nature of the place. Facilities were sub par but it's a sports bar so adjust your expectations accordingly.
