The food is always superb. Unlike a lot of places around VT that have raised their prices and lowered their portions, at Marco's you still get good sized portion for the price. When I lived in South Burlington, I frequently bought good from here. Now, I live an hour away, and my wife and I enjoy stopping in for some delicious takeout on our way home.

Marco's went above and beyond for customer service. I got home last night after picking up my order and realized I was given a calazone instead of a stuffed bread. As I realized it, my phone rang. It was them calling saying they would be right over and deliver it. I was super impressed with their eagerness to fix what happened. Great customer service in my opinion!

Dear restaurant searcher, you wanna know how good the pizza is? the man across the counter slapped me square in the face with the pizza i ordered so hard my glasses fell off and im STILL writing this pizza a five start review. Now let’s talk vibe. Marco’s Pizza has hands down the best ambiance I’ve ever tasted. Not only was the music so good i had a hard time eating my pizza due to my uncontrollable dancing, but the view of the Subway across the street will leave you speechless. (You will literally go b-b-b-b) Only place I’ve ever been to that tops Marco’s Pizza is Brian Hillerman Park. If you want to have a good time at a loading dock, come on inside of Marco. p.s. they have a portrait of my grandmother who’s been dead for ten years. who knew?

I’ve loved this place for years - super cheap and always delicious. Daily specials: pizza, calzone/stuffed bread, pasta, sandwich, etc... if the day’s specials don’t excite you, you can always just go for 2 slices (with topics of your choosing) and a drink for cheaper than fast food. Added bonus: your previous orders are in their computer system so half the time they’ll tell you your order before you can.

Was a bit nervous to try this place as I’ve read some not so great reviews. I ordered 2 large pizzas for my family…one with the works, one meat lovers. The food was fresh, hot and good. The service was good as well. Was my first time ordering from here and it was a pleasant surprise.

inexpensive and tasty, took a little longer then expected to get delivered. Was still nice and hot. Although when i ordered "Stuffed crust" i was expecting it the have cheese in the crust, when actually they just put crust over the whole pizza and pretty much turn it into the crappier version of a calzone. It was still good, just disappointed as i was expecting a more traditional pizza with cheese filled crust. Would be nice if they would clarify on their website. because i wanted less bread not a whole lot more

Marco's is my favorite pizza spot. It's always good simple New York style pizza you can't go wrong with anything you order. The staff is great the music is good for the environment tables are ready for patrons. Marcos is a great pizza place I've been going since high school when I went and graduated in 2007 and have been going ever since. One time I placed an order there and they forgot extra bread I ordered for the amazing artichoke dip. I did not notice but they called me up and told me I could call them back to sort it out or have it delivered or I could come back to pick up the bread. I decided to go back and they gave me the bread I was missing and then free cookie for the inconvenience. They are a local place with local hospitality. I highly suggest eating there. They also have a great 2 slice lunch combo that always fills a hard working grown man. I've read other reviews that their deliveries take long, but I have no experience with that since I always pick up or eat there. Marcos is great. A+

We stayed at the La Quinta right next door and didn’t feel like driving anywhere for dinner so we walked to Marcos. We were greeted with super friendly staff and delicious food. They have a very diverse menu and there really is something for everyone there. I had the margarite pizza and my mom had the baked ziti. She is very particular and she loved it. The pizza was great with tender crust and flavorful zesty topping. This won’t disappoint.

This place was awesome! The staff is very friendly. One of the Cooks let my 4 children watch as he threw the pizza dough. They had a great experience. The food was also very good. We will definitely have to go again next time we are in Burlington!

Good pizza came hot so it was fresh but told us it would be 45-60 mins to deliver but it took an hour and a half to get our pizza delivered so i hope they deliver your pizza to you in a timely manner

You’ve got to love Marco’s for what it is; Family-run, hardworking, nice, great food. Today I stopped by during a dinner rush for a sandwich, and they were clearly overworked and understaffed. They were still extremely friendly and the sandwich was DELICIOUS (so are their calzones and pizza)! I can always count on them to have something I like. I hope people are patient & kind these to these guys!

We ordered delivery to our hotel from Marco's Pizza over the weekend and were very pleased with what we got. Pizza was hot and very tasty, drinks were still cold, and pasta was on point. My only complaint about the food is that the containers that the pasta and dip were in didn't handle the grease and butter very well. They were quite messy to remove from the bag. The delivery man was super friendly(even offered to tap dance for us) and had a bag of every picnic type utensil you could possibly need. Arrived quickly,portions were more than enough for two meals, and we were very pleased!

Marcos is always so good! My husband says the wings are super filling and they’re his favorite. The eggplant parmigiana and garlic bread are to DIE for! Highly recommended! The portions are pretty large too. If you are getting delivery, you should plan ahead because it usually takes an hour at the least. I’m not sure if it’s their fault but just a friendly heads up!

Marco's is more than a low cost great quality pizzeria. It is staffed, owned, managed and run from the top down with customer care as the highest priority. From remembering customers, their names, their life story, caring for them as if by extention of their own family; to dedication to their craft. Hand over foot the best pizzeria in the greater Burlington area with the best dinner deal around. It is a testament to Vermont values and heritage. I cannot recommend Marco's enough.

Friendly staff, Consistently Good Food & if they mess up and order or delivery they are really sincere and will go out of their way to correct a may mistake. We did a last minute takeout order and we ordered sandwiches (meatball sub and an Italian grinder). The sandwiches were huge, even the small italian was enough to share with another person. But it was so good that I ate almost all of it. The meatball sub was FULL of meatballs and cheese. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by again. The prices were also very reasonable.

Calzones are always undercooked. I rather wait an hour for their amazing calzones than have to call my husband to get oven to 400 before I get home to continue cooking. We live 40 min but love your pizza and food. So I'm not complaining that much because either way we still come 2 times a month for calzones!! Ty all for your hard work during the covid times. The foundation of any good pizza is the crust and Marco's has mastered the recipe for great crust. This singular flavor is also present in their calzones and bread. Marco's offers up a wonderful value for their customers. You should consider giving them a try.

Strange looking at the reviews. Hands down the best spaghetti and meatballs I've ever had. And, I'm 50 so I feel like I have a fair amount of reference. Not sure what they did on the day I ate there but whatever it was it was incredible!! Fiddle Head draft, and huge slab of butter on the sauce really put it over the top. Fresh baked bread, and whatever they did to the meatballs was divine. I might just drive back up to Burlington for another meal to prove I wasn't dreaming.

I travel... a lot. I spend at least two nights a week posted up in a hotel ordering a salad and a sandwich for dinner from whatever local joint pops up on a Google search. I have never, ever been more impressed with a dinner. When I placed my order I was concerned the portion would be small or the quality would be awful because it cost me almost half as much as I normally spend. The salad was good pretty standard chicken Cesar, but when I got to the sandwich, my mind was blown! I never write reviews but the bread that I assume was baked in house because it still had the fresh flower on the bottom made me write this review. Sandwiches tend to be sandwiches from most take out places and the bread is usually store bought or ordered. I would have eaten the bread with a little butter by itself. I cannot express how amazing this was! You have got to try this place!

First the good stuff, the food is super. The subs and calzones are excellent. The bread they use is great. Now the bad stuff, they really struggle to get a phone order correct. I almost never get exactly what I ordered. That being said I keep going back.

Best Pizza Ever! My girlfriend's mom (the pickiest eater I have ever met!) is visiting us from Las Vegas and was very disappointed in what Burlington had to offer in the way of food. We stumbled across Marco's last night and she reluctantly agreed to try the pizza. Her eyes lit up and she grinned throughout the entire meal. We will definitely come back and we will use this restaurant as incentive for her to come back and visit us.

Marco's food, be it pizza, pasta, or sandwiches, is excellent. My personal favorite are their sandwiches, which I think are some of the best in the state. The sourdough bread is made by them, and the other ingredients are also super fresh. Go with the garlic mayo for an awesome total package. Their pizza is second to none in the area. The service is also good. I had a small issue with something I ordered and the manager on duty replaced the item immediatly. The stuffed breads....amazing. I could go on but i'll say this: if I want some tasty italian comfort food I treat myself to a little Marco's. It is THE go to place for this kind of thing in the area..

Kinda slow, especially for delivering. If you want food delivered from here, call an hour ahead of time. We waited an hour and a half for food to be delivered from Marco's and they are literally 6 min's down the road from me. Food is good and huge portions, just need to work on customer service skills alittle and time management. .

Marco's is a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint with at times good pizza and at times out of this world pizza. Sure - I've had a mediocre slice or two, but I've eaten thousands of slices (I eat here 2-3 times a week for lunch as it's down the street from work). I've also had some of the best pizza I've ever had here. When I lived in Boston it was my first stop before I saw friends and family when returning because I flat out missed their pizza (sorry Boston, your pizza sucks). The best part about Marco's is everything is fresh. They make their own breads. They make their own dough. They cook their own chicken. Very little of what they sell comes pre-made and that's always been a turn-off at other pizza places. You can customize what you want exactly how they want it - because they're making it on the spot. It's not a problem I don't like ricotta - they'll just leave it out when I ask. I've gotten to know the owner I frequent the place so much. He's a terrific guy and really wants to make people happy. I've been very pleased to see him adjusting the menu, adding items and responding to feedback. I've seem additions like whole wheat crust, buffalo chicken pizza, thai chicken pizza just to name a few. There is so much variety it makes it a great every day place for lunch. Given I'm at the point where I'm a Marco's regular, I was somewhat surprised to see a handful of negative reviews. However, I think it just speaks to people with a negative experience being more motivated to share their experience than people with a positive one. Hence why I felt it important to share my own. Marco's is hands down one of my favorite pizza places in Vermont.
