I'm normally a big fan, but my experience today was disappointing. I ordered online and the site told me it would be ready for pick up in 20 minutes, so I arrived in 15 minutes. The staff said it was still in the oven and I sat down to wait. They were quite busy, lots of people picking up and ordering. Several times, someone asked for my name and checked for my pizza, then said it wasn't ready. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes, one of the workers asked again for my name, and finally brought me the pizza and apologized. It seems they weren't hearing me well, and my pizza had been ready the whole time. It was now quite cold and rubbery. Maybe consider turning down the music in your store? It was blasting the whole time I was there, possibly causing them to mishear my name.

I was visiting Burlington on my way to Maine and decide to try Leonardo’s and I’m happy I did! Friendly people and the pizza was great. Had the Texas Buffalo chicken which was fantastic! This definitely would be my go to pizza place if I lived here! Definitely will order again anytime I’m in town!

This pizza place was right down the street from our hotel so we figured we'd walk there rather than taking the car since it was close. We get there for a nice sit-down dinner after a long drive to discover it's a take-out only place. And they put a table in the doorway so you can't walk into the building; the staff comes to the door and takes your order while you stand outside. SMART! In these Covid-19 times, this is the right way to do it, we applaud them. And the lady who took our order was really friendly and talked to us a bit after taking our order since we're out-of-towners on vacation. She gave us some advice on neat things to see and do in the nearby area. Although when she found out we were from Wisconsin, she did ask, "So why are you here? Don't Wisconsin and Vermont pretty much look alike?" We told her Vermont is MUCH prettier! Although the city of South Burlington apparently doesn't believe in putting in sidewalks, which made for an interesting walk along the very busy street to get to the pizza shop. Maybe they're trying to be cosmopolitan, like Rome, Italy, which also doesn't believe in sidewalks and you take your life in your hands every time you try to cross the street. Anyway, we ordered the Vegetarian Works pizza, half with no cheese to accommodate our vegan/vegetarian thang. Really, really good pizza! Highly recommend Leonardo's.

Order a medium pizza and garlic breadsticks. It was a little expensive for what it was but good food. The breadsticks are nothing more than pizza crust with garlic seasoning. Would be 5 stars if cost was more appropriate to what you purchased.

Excellent pizza for pickup but delivery can be disappointing. They have no accountability or tracking of pizza delivery. I called after waiting for 75 minutes and their staff said that they can't do anything about pizza still not being delivered.

Good things come to those who wait and in this current staffing climate waiting for this pizza made it all the better. Loved the uniqueness of the options and the flavor. OH MAN THE FLAVOR! Between myself and my friends we tried 5 of their signature flavors and all of us enjoyed each one of those flavors. Just... Yeah. Go here!

I am from Bflo. NY. We have the best pizza so when I order pizza anywhere else in the country I am usually disappointed. Not this time! Having the option of the crust thickness was a great start. My medium thickness pizza with toppings of my choice was great! I will definitely be ordering from here on my many trips to Burlington. 👍

In town briefly, hotel desk recommended Leonardo's when I asked where to get a good pizza. It did not disappoint, the guys at the shop were super friendly. Highly recommend if you want to grab a pizza.

Great customer service over the phone & delivery! Ordering was straightforward. Punctual. Quality ingredients along with good quantity given. Tried and loved Six Feet Under, Sausage & Fennel, and a make your own pepperoni & sausage. Chose thin crust for all which felt substantial enough. Next time is order a side of sauce as the pies are a little light on sauce.

Take out is pretty reliable, usually wait about 25-30 mins for two pizzas. Vegan options are good, including Beyond meat, vegan cheese, and vegan cheesy breadsticks.

I got the Large Classic for $24.10. First the goods: The crust is the best I ever had, dusted with cornmeal and just the right amount of chewy texture. The bad: The sauce is light with little flavor, basically strait out of the can, the toppings carried the flavor. The crust carried the score,. The pizza could be greatly improved by adding garlic, oregano and some Basel - you know.... Seasonings

I am a real pizza connoisseur. I have eaten pizza in almost every city that I have been to and I travel a lot. I arrived in Burlington, VT on Friday evening of Columbus Day Weekend. I was staying at a hotel directly across the street from the restaurant. I ordered a Classic Pepperoni Deluxe, specifying it to be WELL DONE. I was told that delivery would be 40 to 60 minutes, across the street. It arrived about 55 minutes later. I was a little disappointed because the pizza was not hot, not well done, and no plates or napkins. They knew that they were delivering to a hotel room but did not bring paper plates and napkins. In fact, they were not even offered when I placed the ordered. Toppings were plentiful and well distributed. The pizza tasted pretty good but not well done and not hot, and I do not eat cold pizza. It was warm. Pricing was reasonable but I regret the $10 tip for a $19.95 pizza that was not hot, not well done as I ordered and with no plate or napkins.

I'm very fond of this pizza, and missed it a lot when I was out of town for two years. The crust has a very pleasant chewy quality that I not seen anywhere else. I particularly like the thick crust, and have found for some reason it's better on the medium size pizza, but large is still good. The rewards program is worth signing up for. Definately the best pizza in town.

The pizza is good enough but the salad came with a medium/long black hair in it. I discovered the hair early so most of the salad got tossed. Someone in the kitchen needs to keep their hair tied back in fish-netting or whatnot.

This place needs a disclaimer. It's vegan pizza is so good that it will ruin vegan pizza forever as nothing comes close in comparison. Heard about this place from word of mouth from locals. Very impressed. Price is bit on the higher side and it can get awkward being ignored at the door until you call the person 10 feet infront of you.

UPDATE: Changed this from 1 star to 5 stars as it was more than earned. Less than 60 mins following the posting of my review, I was contacted by the area manager whom seemed genuinely concerned about the experience. I more than appreciate Andrew's concern and his generous offer is way beyond what I would have expected given my initial experience. Honestly just the quick acknowledgement and rapid response shows that your organization truly cares and this was more then sufficient to put it behind me and update my initial review. Everyone has a bad day and it's how the business reacts to these moments where their true colors shine through. I'm proud of my local Leonardo's for how they handled this. Also: Get the fennel sausage pizza... it will blow your mind! They lost half of the order and made us wait another 30 minutes to get the other half. In the 30 minutes we waited, 3 other orders appeared to be missing their whole order. I ended up requesting a refund after waiting 30 mins in the rain as they had a table blocking entry. Good food ruined by absolutely abysmal service.:

Great pizza! With all of the options in the Burlington area, this seems to be my go-to. Great quality pizza without being too niche or high-brow. The staff is always nice and friendly, and I've never had to wait long for my food to be ready. Highly recommend!

I don't normally give 3-star reviews, because most of the time I go to places that are heavily and highly-rated, and these places generally merit the high rating. But as good and friendly the service was at this 4-stars-plus rated restaurant, the pizza itself was bland. The crust was neither thin and crispy nor thick and doughy, it was just "there", like supermarket mass-produced white bread. The sauce was dry and seemed overcooked, and frankly in combination with the rather tasteless cheese reminded me of pizza produced by a national chain starting with a "D". Too bad, as, again, the staff are really nice and efficient.

I love their chicken wings. Very busy place! It takes about 45 minutes to get your order delivered, but it is well worth the time. Excellent about fixing their mistakes. I like their pizza better than all the other places around.

My jam! Solid section, good variety and dank pizza. Prob one of the best quick spots for a good slice (in the afternoon) or pie (yea I said pie) but..... Gotta know the groove to pick the location that's right for you and don't forget that time matters too!!

Leos NEVER disappoints. From their specialty pizzas, wings or cheesy breadsticks this place is always a fan favorite. I highly recommend the wings because nobody around here does them quite like Leos. Ive lived in the area nesrly my whole life and if anyone ever asks for a pizza recommendation I always tell them to order from Leonardos. They are consistently on point with their pizzas and wings. Also, they use flavors, nothing cardboardy about these pies. Fresh, gourmet and local ingredients are key.

They told me a half hour on the phone for delivery, they were here at my room in 32 minutes exactly (set a timer in case they went to the lobby. The delivery gentleman was amazingly polite, offered an etiquette not often exemplified in today's world...and left us happy to have chosen Leonardo's- before the first bite! The food is stupid amazing, well balanced flavor wise, and is unique in it's own right as far as crust and sauces go. Truly a pizzeria. Eat here. Support this joint. You'll think higher of yourself, got it?
