My friend came to town on a Friday evening to visit from out of town. He was looking for a pizza joint with a family style atmosphere. As I live just a block away this was the first place that came to mind. Unfortunately, our expectations were only 3/5s met. Service was slow to start. But where I would really knock their stars is when the kitchen missed our request for mushrooms on our pizza (see photo). Luckily, we didn’t have to pay for the missing mushrooms. The pizza was nothing short of ordinary thin crust NY style pizza. We also ordered a basket of cheese curds which were on the daily specials. The last thing the threw me was there complete lack of consideration for the environment. Beer came in plastic, water came in plastic, and ranch came in plastic, for no apparent reason.

Nice pub place. We didn't order the pizza, we got chicken sandwiches. Mine has a super burnt bottom but after taking that off it wasn't bad at all. The cheese curds were alright too.

Comfortable vibe with ice cold beer and delicious pizza. The bartender was friendly and efficient. We arrive around 6pm -sat at the bar, our drinks were served quickly and food arrived timely hot and delish! Nothing fancy here...just a chill spot with real service!

My wife and I find Ken's to be our favorite local restaurant. The food is generally excellent for a Pub, the atmosphere typically very local, the bartenders are outstanding with service and personality. Well worth every star.

My family and I decided to stop here to watch the Phillies game as out of towners after shopping on Church Street. The bartender Kylie was absolutely incredible who was serving the entire bar by herself. Food took a bit long to come out but there are staff shortages everywhere so we understood.

Very good pizza by the slice. The outdoor seating in the summer is lovely, as is the service! This place isn’t going to win any Michelin Stars anytime soon, but is a good place for a slice and a beer!

Ken's is our favorite for the best pizza you can get in Vermont!!! No one else comes close. Cory my Husband and I look forward every time we're in Burlington to have a beer or 2 while we wait for our perfect pizza to go. We would always eat a slice before heading back to Stowe. Simply The Best ❤️.

Oh I have not had a good New York style pizza in ages and heading down to Burlington for the day changes that! Amazing pizza and beer selection, I would highly recommend the Mac and cheese bits too, drooling just thinking about it! Also we got to sit out back on the patio in the sun, it was a tiki bar theme! 10/10 would recommend!

My experience here was just okay. They didn’t put mushrooms on my pizza, however they did offer to take it back and make me a new one. Overall, I thought the pizza was decent, and the outdoor seating was nice.

Food is always wonderful. This is my go to in Burlington for the past at least 5 years. The vibe is wonderful and the new bar is perfect! What I don’t like is the creeps that won’t stop talking to the bartenders sometimes. Thank you for being professional and cheerful while dealing with people like that. I thought I hated my job, but at least the creeps leave at some point.

Very good food. Despite being a decently crowded Saturday and the restaurant being shirt staffed, the wait was not extremely long. They have great appetizers, and both sandwiches and dinners. I recommend the stuffed shells. Especially with a side of garlic bread. One of their bathrooms seemed to need a little cleaning, but I'm guessing that was because I was there at a busy time. They have at least one gender nuetral bathroom, I can't remember how many though.

I had the home made meatballs with home made marinara on top of spegetti. Meatballs made with a combination of beef, veal and pork. The price was reasonable. I really enjoyed the plate and the waitress staff are pretty pleasant.

Great locating along the market street. Outside seating allowed for some good people watching. Staff was good and responsive. The Goose Island Bourbon Stout was awesome...10 Stars. Wings were lacking any kind of crisp but maybe others prefer. IMO fried wings are just better. Had a couple of sandwiches which were a hit.

We walked up to the hostess booth and they didn't even offer inside or outside they said we have no tables inside. But I seen several empty tables tables. First couple got seated at that table. Every person after we sat down was offered inside or at the bar and we seen maybe 5 people leave and about 12 tables go inside. All in all the food was good service outside was good.

We've always enjoyed Ken's, but we're surprised and disappointed that only a couple of staff members were wearing masks, despite the city-wide mandate (just before Christmas 2021). Even our server repeatedly came to the table maskless. In retrospect, should have insisted he mask up or walk out. Apparently, management was not taking it seriously. We'll give them another chance at some point IF they follow the law.

Great outside dining experience. Julia, our waiter was excellent in checking on us, getting our order right, making recommendations, etc. Ordered a veggie pizza with Mushrooms, Garlic, Bok Choy, etc. (it was delicious!) and local beers (Fiddlehead and Switchback). Fiddlehead had a grapefruit taste (which I enjoyed) and the Switchback (which I would order again). I would visit again. Only complaint was the table stabilizers were not working very well so table was rocky.

Great food and atmosphere! If you enjoy the 70’s vibe in decor and music, plus tasty food, this may be a worthy option among dozens in Burlington. The staff was friendly, efficient, and their recommendations spot on. The sandwich and meat pie we ordered were delicious. The ciabatta bread is baked on site. Prices were reasonable. So glad we stopped in for a bite!

I have been to Burlington a few times and have walked past ken's pizza a few times and have always been intrigued by the way it looks. I decided to give it a go on my trip and was somewhat disappointed. Whilst it looks quaint and interesting from the outside its old, derelict and in need of repair and an overhaul. Service is mediocre and I sat there for quite some time before someone came over to ask me what I wanted. I ordered the boneless wings as well as 2 slices of pizza and was disappointed by what I got. Whilst the chicken was ok the dip was strange as it had hard lumps in it which was slightly disconcerting. The pizza was served on paper plates, which for a restaurant struck me as odd. The pizza itself wasn't that great either and was very dry and strangely tasteless. Everything had the feeling of having been prepared and served without the love and appreciation that you typically expect. I don't think I will be going there again - very disappointing

My husband and I went there for pizza and had excellent food, a piping hot special order from sitting down to the first bite, less than 20 minutes. The wait staff was friendly, relaxed and observant. I am in a wheelchair so finding seating that makes me comfortable ,and not in the way, is not always the hostesses first thought. This young woman offerred two excellent options without my asking. Our server came over as soon as we were seated and we had had a minute to check the menu, and took our drink order. By the time we had chosen our pizza she was back with our beverages. The service was excellent, professional, friendly and efficient. Oh, and the pizza was superb with my jalepeños nestled into the melted cheeses.

We arrived late to Burlington and every place we went the kitchen was closed. Ken's was still open for business at 11! People say "hunger is the best sauce" but this was outstanding pizza when we really needed something to eat, will definitely return. Wide ranging menu that I would like to check out another time. Excellent drink menu, every liquor you would ever want and great selection of beer and cider.

Hands-down, some of the best pizza I've ever had. Plenty of toppings, good sauce and killer crust is a recipe for awesome, and they've nailed it here. The servings are huge too (the waitress warned us when we ordered two full pizzas... Fortunately we were up for the challenge!) The location itself was nothing special, nor the paper plates and cutlery, but still more than worth a visit if you crave good pizza.

The Sicilian is arguably one of the BEST tasting sandwiches I have ever had. Fresh made warm bread, crisp arugula, fresh Boars Head brand meats, and balsamic. WOW! Service is fast and friendly and the mixed drinks are great. Vast supply of local and craft beers. The pizza looked really good as well.

Solid food for a good price. I got two slices of pizza (chose my toppings) and my wife had ravioli, daughter ate from our plates. The pizza was actually really good, as was the beer selection; a sour, IPAs, wheat, and stout. Pricing was good too, <$40 for the two dishes and two beers.

Super fun little spot with cozy little booths and family friendly menu. Its not "fine dining", its a fun family spot for comfort foods. My son left his reading glasses at the table and the manager was willing to courier them back to us in Canada. We stop at Kens every year on our way home from a family ski trip and will continue to enjoy the neighbourhood feel of this fun spot.

We decided to try this restaurant out when we went to Burlington for a weekend. Everyone was following the Covid-19 guidelines and server was wearing a mask. We decided to sit outside. We ordered Garlic Bread Sticks, Chicken Parm with Spaghetti and Eggplant parm with Spaghetti. I believe parm with both the spaghetti was very less and we had to order more. But the best thing was the garlic breads. They were fresh and very crispy.

This place is the best restaurant value in downtown Burlington. While other Church street restaurants have turned over, remodeled, and jacked up their prices at every turn over the years, Ken's has held the line. The food is always good, and there's lots of menu variety. There's something for everyone, and it's the cheapest of all the Church street restaurants. Despite the name though, there's nothing special about the pizza itself, so don't expect much there. But the rest of their menu is very good, and there's no shortage of other choices.

These reviews are really harsh; Ken's isn't the best pizza place, isn't the best pub, and isn't the best establishment--but it's really not as bad as these reviews make it sound. I've only been there a few times and the food is alright, the staff friendly-enough, and the place itself is decent (inside is better than out). I'm no raving fan, but it's a decent place to go for a few pints and a meal if you're budget is in the $$ range instead of $$$$$. Pretty good value, decent food, decent service. Nothing spectacular, but nothing nasty either.

I go there from time-to-time. And every time I do go there, I seem to have the worst service I've ever seen. For example, I went there with my friends, and I was ready to pay. I told to waitress that I wanted change. So she very rudely said okay. And it took her a couple of minutes to get like .40 cents back to me. She gave me five pennies and I told her thank you. She threw the change on the table and told me in a very unprofessional and insulting way "you are so welcome." And with that, I haven't been back since.

2nd best pizza had out of NY. Also descent prices one of the few places on Church Street not ripping you off although no one in my party got sandwiches what we saw other people eating looked good.The small is what drew us here.

Love this place to grab a slice of pizza for lunch. Only 3,25$ for a slice + 0,50$ for toppings. Big slices too. They have good local beers. Great ambiance. We sat at the bar and we had a REALLY good service. The place was full. Great place to watch sports on tv too.
