Reviews of Folino's Wood Fired Pizza Burlington
We came for lunch on a Saturday in October and it was very quiet. We enjoyed the special touch of the old school chairs for the table. This is not a full service restaurant, you can pick a table or be assigned one depending on how busy it is, but you order and pay at front desk and grab your own water and plates. It was nice to see them cooking pizza right there. They have gluten free crust so my husband was able to enjoy a pizza. We each had our own small pizza, and we found them to just be ok. Not stand out at all but not bad either.
Seriously, I've eaten pizza on six continents. I love pizza. This is one of the best pizzarias anywhere. My wife can't eat dairy, so last time we got the vegan supreme, and it was better than most of the non-vegan pies I've eaten. Super friendly, easy place to hang out.
Love the pizza, have had it many times. Only thing I would not recommend trying is the Detroit style one. Tried it on a whim, dough was just a little under cooked to my liking. Probably were just in a rush so not a big deal! Hope next time it’s better!
First time at this restaurant. Small and unpretentious, simple menu. Really like their pizza, which reminds me of the Connecticut style pizza. Friendly people working there and it seemed to me that they all do a little bit of everything, from preparation to serving tables. I DO recommend their pizza 👍🏻 …
If you are looking for a very chill, trendy, fun experience this is the place to go. the server went out of her way to make sure we could of had the best experience possible. in my opinion 4.5 star restaurant.
I’m in town for a quick weekend getaway, from the NY-NJ metropolitan area and all I can say is W O W! I’m super impressed, I’m out of words. The oven brick pizza, was to die for. Crust was cooked to perfection, you can tell the yeast was set aside to be fermented before it was built into a pie. The ingredients was beyond fresh.
The Marinara sauce on the Margherita was lite, not overwhelming with the taste of tomato paste, it was perfectly seasoned. The cheese was thin enough to break in your mouth for an easy chew. It wasn’t like gum chewy , it was just right.
The meatball parm was MY FAVORITE ! The meat portion was a good amount, it was just enough. The pieces of meatball was crumbled, and the chicken parm was cut into small pieces it made it more enjoyable to eat. They weren’t obnoxiously big like NJ pizza is known for.
The wings were PERFECT! Had a just enough of sauce, the bbq was sweet and slightly tangy. The hot wings were good but they weren’t hot hot, it was slightly mild. Omg, don’t even get me started with the ranch, it’s clearly homemade and not store bought. It was delicious, I can’t believe how good it was. Might buy a container before I leave to go back home.
Overall my take out experience was outstanding, I’m extremely impressed ! NJ has alot of stepping up to do, seriously. This has been the pizza I’ve had my entire life.
Folino's continues to be my favorite pizza place in Burlington. I have been to at least 4 other pizza places nearby and 3 more restaurants that sell pizza as an entree and Folino's is still my favorite. Wood fire thin crust pizza is my favorite and Folino's has never disappointed - in either location. If anyone that tells you they don't like a particular pizza place in Burlington will often say it's not as good as NY style pizza but they fail to understand you cannot compare every pizza to greasy NY style pizza - there are other kinds of pizza to eat. The Shelburne location is also great and is attached to Fiddlehead - which is also a great time. They have lots of offerings for toppings and the prices are fair. About 20 bucks for a large pizza (we had many toppings and the inhouse made vegan cheese). I will keep coming back to Folino's and advise anyone visiting the area to try them! They are also friendly to Gluten Free and Vegetarians and Vegans.
Folinos is just best Wood fired, thin pizza in burlington! Not overly cheesy or saucy, just the right amount of crispness, always a treat!
Their wide variety and tasty pizza warrants 5 star rating, but we had a bad experience ordering by phone. Was first put on hold for 11 minutes, then called back later to place an order to 2 large pizzas, including one pizza with 2 extra specialty toppings. I very clearly stated my name, somehow when we went to pick up our order, our order was lost and never found. They gave us another order that had been sitting there and was cold, completely incorrect from our initial order and included none of the 2 extra toppings that we paid for.
Delicious pizza. Great experience. Service was on point and everyone was very friendly.
FIRE.
1- if you’re getting anything besides apizza style-wrong
2- margherita is the king of pizza. I added prosciutto because I wanted something a little heavier in my belly. It was badass.
It’s simple order at the counter and BYOB. Plus, cute girl working at the register. What’s not to like?
Delicious artisanal pizza served in a restaurant with a BYOB policy. My Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza was excellent and cooked perfectly.
While the service was a little less than friendly, the quality of the pizza and the relaxed atmosphere more than made up for that!
They have two locations in the Burlington area, both connected to bars/breweries.
Really good. Tried to sit outside with my dog at Verita but they weren’t doing service outside. Stumbled upon this place and it definitely met my pizza expectations. Got the special corn/pesto, sishito peppers pizza. Fast, well priced, a good amount of outdoor seating, byob.
Always incredible! BYOB, enjoy the beer from next door Fiddlehead brewing along with the wood fired pizza and gorgeous salads. The view isn’t half bad either (sarcasm, the view is lovely)!
Relaxed atmosphere with serve-yourself water and grab your own plates and cups. Pizza are very good with vegetarian and vegan options.
My daughter suggested we have dinner at Folino’s Wood Fired Pizza and now we know why. It’s amazing! The open air space is very cool and seeing the wood oven adds to the ambiance. We all had different pizzas which were all delicious. BYOB is an added bonus since City Market is near by and they have frosted glasses ☺️ I had the pepperoni with sausage and mushrooms with wheat crust, my daughter the truffle pig and my wife the make your own veggies wheat pizza. We highly suggest Folino’s if you are in the area.
We had the sourdough crust pizza and it was really good! They have a great outside sitting area great for large parties.
Some of the best pizza in Burlington. They are carbon neutral and are BYOB alcohol. A great spot in a really good location. Stop at the grocery store next door to get beer/wine before you come!
It’s a really nice pizza and I would go there again but it had dirty tables and in two times that I was there the crust was a little burned. But still amazing!
Superb pizza too 3 I have ever had. Crust is amazing toppings are tasty and not excessive. A very well balanced pie.
A must try pizza place, unique pizza that works, and good ranch. I hate bbq wings but the sauce they used made them really good
This place is awesome! Great pizza and service. They always go above and beyond for their customers. Highly recommend! Buffalo cauliflower is amazing (pictured below) - so many great pizzas and you can also make a “doughnation” and bring home some dough, which supports education and clean water initiatives. And they’re also a carbon neutral restaurant!
The pizza, especially the crust, was pretty good but the staff of two seemed pretty overwhelmed during the lunch time and the place was not that busy
Pros: big space, bar next door, solid quality ingredients, cool oven, large tables.
Cons: take a look at this slice. It's typical. Notice how little cheese there is on it. Some people like very little cheese, I suppose. Personally, I'd like the slices to at least have 3/4 coverage, I guess. It's disappointing to me personally that I paid nearly 20 bucks for a pizza and it's two pieces of pepper and 1.75 slices of pepperoni per slice. Lest you think this is a one-off...we ordered 4 pizzas (big group), and each was the same. Previous visits have given similar results.
I don't personally understand the fad of flatbread pizzas having only a few spots of cheese here and there. I understand cheese is expensive, but I am paying quite a bit for the pie, so I think a bit more is warranted.
Update 2: Visited this place for second time. This time they had Winter Album pizza ( included sweet pears and honey drizzle) and it wasn't great at all too sweet for a pizza. But their veggie pizza and chicken was amazing!!! ( See new pics)
Update 1:
Good ambience. Pizza comes in two sizes, small and large. Its a bit pricey as we had a large pizza for 19 dollars. Good for once in a while pizza night out. Would recommend this place to a friend.
Once of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. Their dough was amazing. We had a party of 4 and all of us loved it. Friendly staff in a laid back atmosphere. We will be back next time we are in area
Pizza is cooked in wood fireplace so crust can be dark sometimes but wasnt a bad pie i had much worse
My pizza was a bit undercooked and soggy. I got the margherita, and it definitely could have used more cheese. It is also incredibly loud here. Other than that, pretty good.
No frills pizza joint that cranks out high quality pizza. Place your order, sit in old hand me down high school cafeteria chairs and enjoy great pizza. Bonus points for BYOB!
Delicious pizza, and salad. Comfortable outdoor seating that accommodated our entire group.
Not my style of pizza, for sure, but that's on me for not knowing what I was getting into. However, the price was too high even if it had been pizza I loved, tables were sticky, service (such as it is) was indifferent. The salad was pretty good. We wouldn't go back.
Pizza was excellent. Service was less so. I had a carry out order from online. The staff was inattentive and was nearly 20 minutes until I was even spoken to. I will give some grace as they were fulfilling a very large order for a prior customer (over a dozen pizzas + wings). The pizza was all excellent. Detroit style was wonderful with the perfect crispy edges. Overall I would visit again but with the hope of better customer service.
Yummy pizza and fantastic wings 😎
Could be 5 stars but a bit too pricey. The family salad is huge for a big party. The house made salad dressing is about the best dressing I've ever had on a salad. Great pizza and BYOB is a plus. City market is next door for beer and wine.
Good pizza for Vermont - can use a little work on the tomato sauce as it is relatively non-descript compared to the legendary pizza houses like Pepe's. Has the same weird hybrid ordering system as the other location, which means you are seated by a host, but pay (and tip) when you order at the counter...and have to get your own plates, utensils, glasses etc from a bulk bin. What's the protocol on tipping at a place like this? It's a mystery !
very quick service and great pizza i got the truffle pig. my only issue was i ordered it blonde which on their website says with very little cut yet the majority of my pizza was black
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had (coming from someone who lived in NYC for 9 years). Go here and enjoy! Both the normal and Detroit style are on point. If you’re familiar with and love the now shuttered Archie’s in Brooklyn, go here! Oh, and BYOB without a corkage fee is a really nice touch.
Fantastic thin crust sourdough pizza. Gluten-free options available.
Nice place, great pizza. Outdoor seating is great if the weather is nice.
Very good service and very good pizza! Would say the best pizza in town!
My pizza was fantastic and 100% dairy free. The employees are fantastic. They demand perfection from themselves AND their pies. Cauliflower Buffalo was my favorite… you can tell whoever makes the pizza SUFFERS for their work. You can taste the pride and perfection in every bite.
Supposedly modeled after New Haven pizza, Folino's is no Pepe's! The pizza is wood fired which is great, but the pizza we had was EXTREMELY light on the toppings. The salads were okay, but a family size portion that isn't for 6-8 people would be a great compromise. It's BYOB so make sure to stop in the grocery store next door first.
We had a couple of the more veggie option pizzas and both were excellent. The dough/crust was on point and we enjoyed the BYOB nature of the place as we got some beers at the store nearby before popping in.
I decided to check Folino’s out because people said it was close to a “Connecticut” (New Haven) pizza. I grew up just outside New Haven and down the street from Roseland’s apizza, so I was hopeful. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The dough was chewy and not well done. The sauce was so overwhelmed with oregano that’s all I could taste.
Last September this place had amazing pizza. We went there last night and our pizza crust was tough, the sauce was boring and scant, the toppings were barely there. Don't know what happened but we won't be returning. Maybe bring back your old recipe?
We got the Meatza pizza with the Chipotle swirl sauce and it was amazing!!! My husband said it was one of the best pizzas, if in the best, that he has ever had in his whole life! I although though it was fantastic! Super thin and crunchy delicious crust!
That this has to be the very best pizza we have ever had and doesn't make you feel bloated and trashy afterwards
We had the bk ...and a buffalo chicken one
Great pizza. Great casual atmosphere. Perfect low-key date night where you can bring your own alcohol and enjoy yourself. Really enjoy the vegetarian/non-meat options!
Who knew that the best New Haven pizza was actually being made in Burlington??? Fuhgedaboutit.
Yum! Got the BK and Leeky Detroit pizzas. Very tasty.
The pizzas were excellent and worth the delays experienced waiting a half hour after the scheduled time to pick up the order. The salads are also very good and complement the pizza. This is a local business that deserves community support.
Wonderful pizza! Our first lunch stop when we arrive in Burlington!
Some of the best pizza I've ever had, love the olive oil base.
Love this place! The pizza is just as amazing as at the original location, which is definitely the best pizza in VT. Perfectly cooked, thin crust, so delicious! The various specialty pies are all fantastic. The vibe is awesome as well, very low key and relaxed. And being able to BYOB is clutch, plus super convenient with City Market right there. So happy they opened up downtown, it's my new favorite spot!
Great wood fired pizza with some different choices. Too bad they didn't have a liquor license. The place next door won't sell to go anymore so we had to go to the grocery store and wait in line. Pizza was on the table waiting when we got back.
Folinos Pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had in my life. First visited the Shelburne location, but the pizza is just as good here. Perfect wood fired crust and amazing array of fresh toppings.
Came here passing through Burlington. They had excellent service and some of the best pizza I have ever had! Great space. Also there is a dope ice cream spot on the same block if you're feeling extra!
Best pizza in Burlington. We tried Prosciutto di Parma and it was extremely delicious. Can’t wait to be back and try some more.
Unbelievably good. Lived up to the hype. Great atmosphere and staff.
Authentic wood fired pizza. Perfectly baked. Tantalizingly thin crust. I might face this entire large pizza right now.
My first visit to Folino's downtown location was unsurprisingly spectacular. I spent 16 years in the restaurant industry and I believe they are setting the standard for quality pizza in the area. Great selection of traditional pies accompanied by some very unique specialty pies. You can't lose with either location.
Folino's pizza is my kind of pizza and the flavors are great. I can only speak to Folino's during the pandemic and I'm hoping to revisit it later, but service is haphazard and waits are often longer than advertised whether eating "in" or getting your 'za to go. On our last takeout we waited twenty minutes longer than expected for a pizza both overcooked and lukewarm plus a drink substituted without warning. Like I said, the flavors here are good but something is keeping this place from unlocking its full potential right now and I have a hard time believing it's pandemic restrictions.
Folino's is a fabulous place to meet with friends and family. Their wood fired pizza is exceptionally tasty - they have a multi-flour crust which has a light crispiness and yet is also enjoyably chewy. The restaurant is spacious with generous seating and table space, patrons can bring their own beverages like wine, beer, and cider, though hard alcohol is not allowed.
Service is self-serve, patrons will need to order their food at the register and will need to grab their own plates and silverware. Wine glasses and an opener are available near the plates, and an added bonus, if you want a chilled glass they are available around the corner near the main entry.
Reservations can be made. Folino's even lets you bring in your own food if you have gluten allergies so that you can still eat with your friends, though you should know they do have gluten free pizza too! We've even had birthday parties there with our own cake.
So I understand why people love it here. The pizzas are decent, with interesting flavors and good ingredients. However, said ingredients are incredibly sparse (the things you're paying for, since dough costs virtually nothing), the dough relatively uninspiring in texture and flavor, and the price woefully above where it should be for a cafeteria-style restaurant with the aforementioned poor quality and quantity to price ratio. The BYOB aspect is certainly nice, but hardly makes up for the childish interior design with kindergarten stools and mediocre food.
For the amount of hype, I expected more. If they lowered prices, Folino's would be a great regular spot to go with friends. However, when Pizzeria Verita is more affordable (and producing significantly better pizza), there's clearly an issue with the echelon of restaurants Folino's is attempting to compete with in terms of pricing.
I find myself at a lot of the usual spots when I go to Burlington, but I wanted to mix some new restaurants in on my most recent trip.
This eatery is located not too far from Church St., but they have another one in nearby Shelburne too. Folino's is literally right behind the City Market, which comes in handy since this restaurant is BYOB. I ran into the market to pick up some amazing Stowe Cider beforehand!
The restaurant has a very casual vibe with plenty of tables inside and a few outdoors. There are also wood burning ovens in the rear.
We placed our orders at the counter and then sat down to wait for our food to be brought out to us.
You grab your own plates, glasses and anything else you need. I LOVE how they have chilled glasses available for your brews!
They do have a nice selection of pizzas, but I went with a basic standard cheese and tomato. I'd describe this as more of a gourmet style pie.
The pizza was amazing! So delicious and the toppings were very fresh. The crust was just perfect too!
Overall a great place and worth walking the few mins from Church St for.
I probably don’t get all of the hipsterish vibe going on but the pizza was amazing. (BYOB, bring your own glasses, dishes back ... must be cultural)
Plus we had the pleasure to watch Bob Ross on TV for an hour.
The reiterate... probably one of the best pizza I had (and just came back from Rome).
Pizza was decent and decently priced. There is no table service but they'll take your order and bring you your pizza when it's ready. If you want to grab a bit to eat in a less formal setting this is a nice place close to downtown.
The crust was very thin but flavorful and had beautiful charred bubbles. I ate the prosciutto pizza. The sauce was a bit salty and cheese was absent in sections of the pie. However it was still a very satisfying and well worth the money. The obviously use high quality ingredients and shows in the overall presentation.
WoW! The pizza tasted like the one we had in Italy! The ingredients are fresh, vast choices on the menu, super friendly staff and great ambiance! Great prices for what you get and it’s a bring your own wine. Can’t wait to go back!
Such tasty pizza. We got the prosciutto, and the firecracker shrimp, both delish, perfect crust, and they always have great specials too. What’s great is you can also order their pizza from the bar next door, Highball Social, which uses delicious Stonecutter spirits to make prohibition-inspired and adventurous cocktails (a little on the pricey side)
Great thin crust pizza in an even better setting, they may be trying too hard on the "thin" in thin crust. After being in Queens for so long it was hard to find real thin crust New York style pizza until I stopped by here. My only critique is in thier Margarita, it could use some more sauce " it was just crust at some points" or a millimeter thicker crust. Otherwise definitely worth a try.
pizza is awesome, online ordering is currently broken. place an order says 35 minutes at the beginning by the time you get the order confirmation email suddenly it's for a week from now. try again in Shelburne location says ready in 23 minutes, order confirmation comes in for 2 hours?! call to cancel they have the order for burlington even tho the confirmation says Shelburne. CALL IN your order for takeout and save yourself the same pain we experienced
Easily the best pizza around. The Frankenstein...just get it...
Went on a feildtrip with my daughter to Folino's. We learned about the business and how they make their pizza. We watched them make it, and got to eat it after. They are contributing to a GREAT cause....the 52 Kids Foundation...Great place, great people, great pizza. I recommend trying it, if you haven't already!!
We came here with a large party, ordered many pizzas, and even asked to hold cakes in the back for a surprise birthday party. They were excellent and Bobby made sure that the surprise cakes went off without a hitch. For excellent salads, incredible pizzas, and staff that go above and beyond for your enjoyment, head to Folino’s in Burlington!
I heard someone say that Folino's was the best pizza in town. While this isn't true, I really enjoy the atmosphere of the place. You place your order at the counter, and then just send for yourself. There is a big shelf of toppings, and other thing. (Garlic powder, red pepper, ect.) However, the pizza is just okay. It is cooked on sourdough, which I personally don't like. Some people say that they burn the pizza, which is false. Although, if you want it cooked lightly, ask for it "blonde" I suggest not doing this, unless you are a whimp, who has only eaten Domino's
i always get a pepperoni pizza and order it blonde. a lighter bake lets the flavor of the dough shine imo. the tomato sauce and the pepperoni have great flavor that works well with the crust.
Great pizza and open space for eating. Plus, The legend of Kora was playing when I was there last. BYOB
Great service and food! Pizza and wings, mmmm!
Best pizza in Burlington! Wood fired, thin crunchy crust with chewy air bubbles, quality seasonal toppings and a great downtown vibe. Love to stop at City Market and pick up some delicious craft beer before dining outside when the weather is right!
great gluten-free and vegan option!
Love Folino’s! My favorite pizza around is the Leeky Chicken. I Love how low key and family friendly the establishment is. They are extremely flexible with larger parties. It’s not like flatbread or pizza verita with full service; instead you are seated and walk up the the register to order your pizzas. I think their method of service is pretty efficient and straight forward. Also, Folino’s is BYOB, which works out great because next door is City Market. City Market has a great selection of tasty local beers. Highly recommend!
For me pizza is all about the attention paid to its foundation - the dough - and Folino's has got the right ingredients and process to deliver just that.
Staff seemed like they cared about serving the customer.
Oh, and the end product was delicious.
Take the time to find Folino's, it's not obvious but, well worth it when you get there.
Love this place-my family eats here religiously. My absolute favorite pizza is the Firecracker Shrimp-arugula, Chipotle shrimp, onions...drooling over this review. Great customer service and location-BYOB!
Had the firecracker shrimp, my daughter had chicken buffalo and it was amazing , definitely worth the wait , I've had it at both locations ,both excellent best pizza I've had in along time!
Great ambiance and great concept of make your own flatbread. They do have a delicious menu of flatbread but I opted for make your own. First time ever tried candied jalapenos in my topping and I've to say they were firey. I opted for gluten free and their signature cashew based vegan topping as replacement traditional cheese. Altogether I had 5 toppings and they were all fresh tasting and flavorful. They do have good choice of drinks. I went for Mandarin Maine root. Although I simply came to fill up my belly I learned they do have another section where drinks are served in a very relaxing and upscale environment. Didn't get to try that but I am looking forward to it on my next trip. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the great work guys. Oh and not to forget they do some great charity and sustainability work too. Do read and learn about it, it's inspiring.
Seating/ordering is a convoluted mess. You wait to be seated then you wait in line to order. How about pushing some of those tables together, have folks order their pizza and then finding a spot to sit. Pizza was good. The racks on the table for the pizza take up too much table space; just serve me the pizza on the pie pan.
Wood fired, old school, Italian style, thin crust pizza featuring whole wheat sour dough. It was great to see a dedicated group of relatively young workers turning out such an authentic artisional product. We will make it a point to eat here anytime we are in the area.
Pizza was the bomb..the chicken wings were delicious with a variety of flavors. Our waiter was responsive and a great guy.
Pizza was mediocre got there when my time slot to pick up pizza was told about another 10 minutes was told they were running behind no problem but when I got my pizza it wasn't even hot normally when it just supposed to be out of oven the pizza and bottom of box should be hot well mine was lukewarm very disappointed
We had a mushroom special and plain cheese pizza. They were both good but honestly not great. Nice ambiance and vibe but the pizza didn't quite live up to my expectations.
Pizza is great, and who doesn't like BYOB! Also the place was very packed, which is a good problem to have as a restaurant, but they did a great job at being realistic with wait time and getting us seated as soon as they could!
Took way to long to get the pizza. Diner's are in line with the enormous amount of takeout this place handles. Had a regular and a gluten free. The regular was great, gluten free was a bit burnt and dry.
This is a great downtown Burlington location that does have parking, though somewhat hidden if you are unfamiliar with the area. The pizza was very good with a nice charred and blistered crispy crust. They do not serve beer or wine but do allow BYOB.
...moved to VT about a month ago and was looking for a great tasting pizza place to replace our former pizza place in our old State; and oh boy! Did this place deliver. I’m ashamed to say their pizza t’ taste a little better than STAR pizza in NJ!
Best artisan pizza place in town! Lots of delicious, unique options. Welcoming staff. Communal vibe. Pesto Bomb is always a win for me!
“Trust the crust” as they call it!! Sauce was well done and overall a great pizza! Could have done a better job with the toppings but overall a must try!
The best wood fired pizza around and the new Detroit style is awesome. We've never had a bad pizza and we're there every week for date night! #loveyourplace #folinospizza
Great pizza and plenty of outdoor seating. I love that it is BYOB and they even have a big refrigerator full of frosted pint glasses for you to use.
Delicious fresh pizza. It's bring your own bottle so they have minimal drinks
Truly awesome pizza, and BYOB helps keep the tab town, but it is really loud in there. Between the TV, music, and 50+ yelling voices, I was more than ready to leave.
Make the trip to their Shelbourn location on rt 7 instead, and get some beer at Fiddlehead while you're there.
Guysssss..... I'm all about the legalization of marijuana.. really I am. But it took 45 minutes to get my ONE pie. Which, I can understand it being busy because of the marathon.... BUT when we got here there was only 3 other families. And when I asked for an explanation I was told that cheech and Chong over here accidentally "burned " my pizza the first time around... really guys? 45 minutes for a pizza because you burned it? It only took 5 minutes to bring it out the second time. How long did it take yall to realize you burnt the first one? $27 for one pie and 45 minutes to get that pie means we wont be coming back. Sorry guys!
Good pizza, price and location. The place is BYOB. The crust was slightly burnt (courtesy of wood stove) so personally it wasn't my favorite.
great BYOB pizza place. I heard about the one in Shelburne that was partnered with Fiddlehead Brewing but hadn't made that trip yet. This one is partnered with Stonecutters Distillery. Hidden away just behind the Onion River CO-OP
Folino's pizza was yummy and there is plenty of outdoor seating. I highly reccomend the candied jalapenos for a topping.
This pizza is some of the best in town. Atmosphere is decent. Parking can be nuts because city market. However, the crust is amazing!
Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, amazing pizza 5 stars and two thumbs up 👍👍🤤
Really good pizza, reminds me a lot of NY pizza. Not ecstatic about the price but worth it if you go once a while.
Chill spot right in downtown Burlington not far from church street. Pizza is great atmosphere is chill and it's BYOB! Can't go wrong here.
Enjoyed my USA pizza at Follino's. Nice place, bring your own beer. If interested, they also have vegan pizza.
Great pizza. Vegan options are awesome. Ate outside on picnic tables.
We had great service by Tyler and even better pizzas ( 3 different ones ). Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly to our liking. Also, it’s a cool space in a great location.
Very solid, comfortable spot, super friendly staff
Great wood fired pizza, and they have gluten free! Lots of great toppings on both.
Great wood-fired pizza that's reasonably priced! We had the Frankenstein pizza and it was exceptional! We'll be back soon!
Always amazing pizza.
Best pizza around, it's a little expensive but oh so worth it!
Nice little place with very friendly staff and good food.
Best pizza I’ve ever had! Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Absolutely wonderful service.
Good pizza. I like the BYOB idea. Frosted glasses were a nice touch. The also support a UVM club some nights which I like.

Amazing!!! Seriously you have to try this pizza!!
Crust was mega burnt but it wasn't a bad pizza. Just not my favorite in the area.
Service is friendly, and the crust is superb. I ordered a large margherita. Properly, it should have only three topping: fresh mozzarella, crushed tomato, and whole basil leaves. In the real world, you need to ask them to leave off the coarse sea salt, the parmesan, and the oregano. Oh well, but there’s two more serious issues, namely the sauce is very acidic, and the buffalo mozzarella was extremely sparse. Better to use fresh mozzarella from an ordinary cow if they can’t afford to create a pie with enough buffalo.
I almost never quibble on price, but Pizza Verità also offers a margherita for the same $15, and it comes with an elegant dining room in which to enjoy your meal. Folino’s is a barely renovated garage, with a confusing blend of table and counter service.
That said, the crust is light, chewy, and blistered, and the range of toppings includes leeks, asparagus, and arugula.
Big salad
