Denny’s is now open until 8pm, according to the handwritten sign on the door! 👏🏻 Arianna was our server (today it looked like she was the only server) and she’s just great. Very friendly and soft spoken, she’s always with a smile on her face, she’s quick and constantly checking on the tables for refills or anything else, besides getting the “deliveries/take out” orders ready to go. Keep it up girl! 3 MONTHS AGO >>They are slowly extending their hours 👏🏻👏🏻 Food was great and service was awesome!

This place was wonderful. Located right next to the highway, it's an easy stop. The staff is always moving, super friendly, and practice excellent service. The food I ate was the main reason for my positive review. I had a Santa Fe skillet and wow. Warm and crispy sausage and potatoes, eggs done perfectly, sauteed veggies, all cooked with and served on the skillet for a phenomenal meal. As a nice addition, the bathrooms are well taken care of as well. This is always Denny's and they deserve the recognition. Thank you Denny's!

We were there Tuesday evening. Our server was fantastic. I believe he was a manager. He got us seated and got our drinks in no time. He brought us our drinks and got our appetizers ordered. They didn't have onion rings, so he was quick to make a decision on what food item to give and then informed us about it. Took our order and we got our food in no time. The food was hot and delicious. We will be back.

Despite a lack of staff, we were seated quickly at breakfast time and our meal was also served rapidly. Our waitress was Arianna H and I have to say, she was the best server we've ever had. She kept her smile, was very polite and professional.

I used to rate this location as five stars but lately everything's gone a bit downhill. I still love it and the food is still amazing! Buy they have some staffing problems and close a lot more often than they used to. I saw a sign on the door saying only takeout orders were accepted because they didn't have a dishwasher, but when I peeked in the window to see if they were even open there were three workers just standing about in a completely empty restaurant. Basically, the food is still great, 10/10 there, but if you're looking for a Dennys experience this isn't the place. If you're looking to order takeout you'll be fine!

Hit or miss. Food is typically very good but they are really, really understaffed. It's usually one cook, one dishwasher and one waitress running the entire restaurant and that's if they're even seating people -- sometimes they're only accepting online orders. If you're placing an online order, don't depend on the app to tell you that your food is ready. No joke, it will be at least a 2 to 3 hour wait before you can pick up. They're nice as can be but desperately need help.

Strangest Denny's I've ever been to. Every other store has just one menu which includes the 55+ menu. My favorite because of smallest portions. I was there around 5am and they have 3 menus depending on the time of day. The 55+ menu was not available so I just ordered al la carte. The portions were so large I left most of it behind. I don't care about the price. I just hate wasting food. The waitress was new but very friendly and polite. She had to go ask the other waitress questions but she did a very good job, especially for her very first. If your coming off the 189 connector keep in the left lane and stay in the left lane as it's the next left and at night it's hard to see because it's tucked in a bit and the parking lot is not visible from Shelburne Rd.

Great inexpensive breakfast spot. They do a great job with covid19 seating accommodations. Food is solid, dependable, inexpensive. Grand slam for the win. I created my own fried chicken tenders on pancakes no sauce just butter and real maple syrup ($1.00). Melissa was our waitress and she was friendly and great in every way. Kudos Denny's. Garde Manger was on point as well!😊

This is the first restaurant we've sat down to eat at since March 1st when the pandemic broke out. We were very happy to know that every other table is roped off for distancing, names and numbers are taken for contact tracing, and everyone had masks on who we interacted with. We felt a lot more comfortable knowing precautions were being taken. Thanks, Denny's!

We had breakfast this morning at this wonderful place and both of us were impressed by the wonderful waitress who greeted us warmly and got us our hot cup of Joe right away..Her name was Kiely and she had a smile you could never forget. Great customer service and delicious food. Only minutes from our new home we are sure to be regulars. We are difinately going back for the delicious food and that great smile. Upper mgmt. please take notice of this amazing employee. She is definitely upper mgmt material

They were a bit crowded and mildly understaffed but my server Iona was absolutely fantastic. She was very attentive to mine and my daughters needs and prompt to get anything we needed. Despite being very busy she was sweet, professional, and courteous. Also the cook made an appearance at my table briefly to ensure my food was up to par. Given the circumstances the staff did awesome.

Food is pretty good at this place, and out waitress Arianna is the best, so kind, helpful and smiling all the time. However it is sad they don’t have enough staff, we waited online almost an hour to get a table, and after that same thing for getting our food. Hope they solve this problem soon, because it is a good place.

Ariana seated us and served us, pleasantly. Made fresh coffee as ours was not piping hot--coffee means a lot. The Philly Cheese Steak omelettes with japalenos--it was good, it was big, it was hot. Hit the spot, as we had just come from Fanny Allen where my wife had a procedure done, and hadn't eaten in awhile. Moses-looking man walked by on way out, with long staff. Wife, said to man, "oh I like your stick"--he was delighted. Handed it to her to heft. It was Cyprus, super lite. Ariana walks up 5 minutes later and says the nice man with stick had paid for our meal...and a handsome tip for her. Made our day. We'd been having a hard time last few. Small things can restore faith in humanity. Denny's was a part of it....happy

Very new, clean restaurant. Staff very friendly and responsive. Food on the better end of what you've come to expect from a Dennys. The only negative the entire time I was there was that I watched this napkin sit on the ground for easily 15 minutes as staff repeatedly stepped on and over it instead of just picking it up, and I know it sounds like nit picking, but it's been a week since that visit, and what stands out to me was the messy restaurant floor right at the entrance. This is where we were sitting to wait. First impressions count!

New cooks , wait staff was upset their orders waited longer than they should, crepes were over cooked , English muffin had enough butter for 6, asked for over easy egg got over done, crisp egg. The wit staff was very nice to patrons even though they were all waiting on the kitched . the over head mgr( gm) unbothered by all the chaos ..usually ( in past visits food was very good )

Today, March 24th, was my first visit to this Denny's in quite sometime. I should have been back sooner. Great food, I had the Southwestern Skillet, and it was delicious. The service was excellent andI'll be back more often now.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Denny’s on August 11, 2021. We were seated and cashed out by a very pleasant young man (we neglected to get his name but did learn that he was from Georgia). We received fantastic service from our server Kylie who was friendly and sweet, despite the fact that she appeared to be the only server present. She apologized when she reached our table (graciously not citing that they were understaffed), concerned that we had been waiting (only for a few minutes). She was incredibly chipper and pleasant. Her friendly banter with her coworkers and customers could be heard throughout the restaurant. Despite being busy, she made sure to check on us and ask about our vacation- even giving recommendations as to things we might like to do while visiting. She was truly a gem and is one of those employees that every business would love to have. Oh, and the food was great! The pancakes were some of the best we have ever had. Fluffy, hot and sweet! It was a great dining experience. We would certainly return in the future should we have the opportunity. We know things are tough in the service industry right now but with the crew working that day, you would never know it. From the hospitality as we entered, to the outstanding table service to the very well-prepared food, everything was perfection. Kudos to them!

Went on Easter Sunday with my family of like 14, no wait which was cool. I'm gonna have to give her a four banger. Food was alright, but the service was 5 stars. My man Karan holding down a table of 14 on top of his other tables and was still killing it and had an amazing attitude while doing. Props to Karan.

Not a lot of restaurants are open in the area due to limited staff. We had an awesome waitress and phenomenal food. This would have been 5 stars if they were as attentive the second time we visited a few days later. A different waiter was on duty and was not very attentive considering we were the only people there.

Went with my mom, sister and daughter. The waitress could have checked to see if we needed anything. I had to get up and ask for 4 different item, 3 different times. I ordered the Bourbon Chicken Sizzling Skillet it WAS AMAZING.. My moms salad wasn't to her liking but the waitress was very nice and replaced it with her choice.

Denny's is diner food, and it's pretty good. Not spectacular, but reasonable. I wouldn't go here looking for a fine meal. I go here when I want a burger, or a club sandwich, etc. You know, diner food. Breakfast is a big part of the menu. I like that it's open 24/7, but things take longer when there's fewer waitstaff at night. Not that it's the fault of the staff; a bit of patience goes a long way. The service is good for a chain restaurant. It's clean, too. Bonus points because they serve the rest of the milkshake that doesn't fit in your glass.

Good food, pleasant help. Dreadlfully slow. I think kitchen help may have called in sick...but it was still hot, fresh and Tasty. I got the tradition big breakfast and my grandson got pancakes. My niece got fruit, and it was delicious! We will go back with the kids be cause of the fun menu, cool staff and kid friendly atmosphere.

Normally my family has always enjoyed Denny’s. We are night owls and appreciate there 24/7 hours. However tonight I was shocked. Our receipt shows our waiter as being Anthony t. Our bill came up to 39.41. We paid a 5 tip directly to him. He took the 5 dollars twisted in his fingers and walking towards the cook he was working with said wow 40% big deal 😮😮😮 really? I got home and googled it an read that that was a normal tip for a 40 bill. We have been long time customers of Denny’s and have even paid far more for tips when we have had the money. This was so disrespectful. I have never worked in the restaurant business but I am smart enough to know this is never okay in front of customers!!!! And the fact that we are long standing customers and we’re treated so disrespectfully is really unsettling. This guy must be new...idk. We have had Scott as a waiter many times over the years and he is always a great guy. But this guy ... I’m just shocked and angry….. update 2/14/22 was a bit disappointed as the website said they were open til four. We got there just before 2 to learn they were closing at two but we ordered take out and we’re very pleased. Hot,great food,quick friendly service. Very happy customers 😉❤️❤️❤️

We visited Denny's yesterday 10-25-2020 morning, this Denny's was the cleanliest I have ever visited. Our servicer Kylie was so Professional she recommend something for my husband to eat. The manager also was helping out back with the cooking, and was cleaning the tables. The Manager should be proud of his workers. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

Yoooo let me tell you about Denny's when you're not drunk! This place is lit! The servers were funny and joking with us! We were all picking at each other! The cooks even joined in! We ate quick because we got there 30 minutes before close.(we got out before close we aren't rude.) They still loved us! Great crew.

They just remodel the dining room and it looks great. I went with a small group at 10 pm on a weekday and the staff was friendly and we were served quickly and there was plenty of waitstaff. Food was good. I wish that they had flavored pancakes instead of toppings.

Since the place was renovated the whole experience is not as good as it used to be. The food isn't as good as it used to be. The service is slow, even though there were plenty of Empty Tables, the waiting room was full, and we waited 20 minutes for a table. And then once we got our food it was cold and Bland, ( and the hash browns were soggy). Bummer. We thought maybe we just hit it at the wrong time so we tried it again and the food was just as bad.

The food is good, but bring your own syrup, for your pancakes. The Denny's brand is horrible! Staff are great. Service was a.bit slow, bit the kitchen was very busy, that day. This will be a regular breakfast stop, for is, when we are.in town.

I've been going to Denny's in So. Burlington forever. I've seen the many remodels they've had over the years, but the recent one is really nice! Good job, especially when you have competition, you need to keep up with the times unless your an old fashion diner (50's style train car type),. The food was good and service was fine. Business seemed to have picked up for them since the remodel so kudos to you. My only wish is that since they are in the state of Vermont they'd use pure Vermont Maple Syrup. I'm sure they could make some kind of deal with one of the many maple syrup producers in the state to be able to make it cost effective. Having to pay an extra $1.00 is a bit much. The syrup they have is worse than Aunt Jemima's (from what I can remember, it wasn't very good). I have been using pure Vermont maple syrup from before I moved to Vermont. I almost want to take my own to the restaurant and use on the pancakes/waffles. Love their turkey bacon. Can't seem to find a good turkey bacon in the stores so when I go there I just get it there. All in all, this Denny's is a good place to eat breakfast, burgers are very good. Haven't tried the dinners, but my daughter has and said they are good. Yes, I would recommend Denny's to anyone.

I arrived in Vermont around 1 in the morning. Everything worth eating was closed many hours earlier. Denny's was one of the few places still open. I was thrilled to get a quality breakfast in the middle of the night. I really enjoyed my meal at Denny's. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

It is Denny's I do miss their Great Dessert selection however breakfast more than makes up for it. If you want something sweet try the strawberry Belgian waffle or their selection of crepes. Always a good hearty breakfast and excellent service

I'm not sure what the regulations are for VT but while sitting at the counter watching the cook prepare the food he was not wearing gloves nor a hair net. If that kind of thing doesn't bother you and you'll be fine. The food was prepped correctly, you'd be surprised and how many places cannot cook eggs over medium. The service was a little slow but considering it was shift change that is not unusual. Servers at that time are either repairing themselves or the next shift for their day.

The meatloaf was really good and flavorful though lightly sauced. The fries and garlic bread were crisp and phenominal, the mashed potatoes were good but not great though and the prices were good as well. Waiting staff was prompt and attentitive and we got our food quickly. This place is a regular stip for me as a late night person and ive never been dissapointed here and with their new remodel the restaraunt has never looked or been better!

Went here to soak up some of Saturday night's drinks. Timeframe was Sunday around 1pm. It was pretty busy, but we were seated quickly. The servers were all friendly and got our orders in and out fairly quickly. Menu has changed a bit since the last time I went to a Dennys( like 10 years ago), but you can still get some of your favorites. It was a bit more expensive than I was expecting. Food is salty as heck, to be expected. Our orders were mostly intact but wrong toast type of mistakes were fixed and comped. Decent place to binge some greasy salty breakfast foods, but don't forget, it's a Dennys, so... don't expect anything mind blowing.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that i ordered the new specialty banana caramel cream pancakes, which are supposed to be 2 buttermilk pancakes with shortbread pieces cooked inside them, with a nice visible layer of cream between them, another nice visible amount of cream on top with slices of bananas, sprinkled with more shortbread pieces and all drizzled with caramel! What i got was 2 plain buttermilk pancakes, a tiny bit of cream in between and tiny amount on top, very thick banana chunks (instead of slices) and no shortbread crumbs on top either! I was very disappointed because I ordered it because of how it looked and what the description said it was going to be. It was still a much better experience than the 2 previous times i have eaten there (over the last 2 years) which involved horrible service, over an hour wait for cold food without any offer to rectify the situation by management....thus the reason9 we have only gone a total of 3 times in 2 years. Last night, 2/25/17, was a HUGE improvement over the previous 2 times.

I loved Denny's they have breakfast all day. They have different types of seating including counter seating, booth and table seating plus a private area for parties. Easy access 189 and US route 7 is conveniently located. So if you're interested in good food, great coffee ,reasonable prices and conveniently close to many shops and right next to two US hi-ways Denny's is the best in their location. Plenty of great parking. Their waitstaff and kitchen staff are hard workersand make your visit enjoyable.
