When I heard about this pop-up I was so excited! The customer service was excellent-especially the host-he came to you like he was welcoming you in his home with his beautiful Cuban attire and found seating and took your drink order right away. He was great about checking in and prideful about the business. The mojoto and other cocktails were excellent. Great price point. Will definitely be back.

We are impressed with the latest version of this spot in the New North End. Stopped by for brunch and loved every bite of our classic and vegetarian Benedicts. Perfectly done poach eggs and sauce plus the homefries were crisp. The French toast wasn’t too sweet and our daughter enjoyed eating it. A good price, service and space to enjoy a meal at in our neighborhood. 5/13/22 Update: stopped by with my family. Enjoyed the ham pastrami kimchi sandwich along with a refreshing cocktail on a hot day.

They did excellent with having only 2 servers for a packed restaurant. They were upfront that they were understaffed, but they came and checked on us, the wait for food was limited. Bunch was great. The spicy bloody Marys could have been spicer, but it was decent. Overall a good experience!

Second visit within a 3 day period!! This place is AMAZING! I love the food and the care of the wait staff and hosts!! Welcome to the community!! The menu is great and on point with current trends. Outdoor seating is beautifully done with lighting and indoor seating has a warm glow when you walk in. Brunch, lunch, small plates and dinner! Yes!!

A little gem in new North End! The food is delicious (both dinner and brunch service) and tons of exciting vegeterian offering! Amazing oweners, constantly improving menu and service. The breakfast sandwich and cream cheese stuffed french toast are delicious and so are their sweet potato/chickpea veggi burgers, and fries stay crisp and delicious on takeout.

Great local spot with tons of gluten free options and a dedicated gf frier! Quality can be hit or miss sometimes, but it's hard to beat the convenience, and it's good more often than not

SIx of us stopped in for dinner last week and were impressed. Food was excellent and, we felt, a good value for the prices. Service was superb, chef owners came out and chatted with us, we will definitely be back! Love that they are open on Monday nights when NO ONE else is. The only drawback is high drink prices but highest quality food for a reasonable price makes up for that.

Dropped in today for brunch and had a delicious meal! The mushrooms on my breakfast plate were mega yummy, as was the kale and artichoke eggs benedict. Eggs were perfectly poached! So happy to have this in the neighborhood. I also really appreciate that they will charge you at the table, Canadian style. So much faster than waiting for the credit card to go back and forth.

We’re incredibly glad Butter has arrived in the NNE. We’ve been 3 times in the past few weeks and found the food to be very tasty and the service very warm. Highly recommend the Caesar salad, fried chicken and eggs Benedict. Oh and the fries are perfect! We have long needed a restaurant like this in the neighborhood and couldn’t be happier to patronize a neighborhood-owned establishment in our own backyard. 🧈

Update: Went for dinner there twice. Food and service was excellent. If you want something unique, dine here! They have smash burgers, chicken fingers, wraps, etc. but these are NOT your normal variety. Very interesting combinations and flavors. LOTS of gluten free options. I've never seen a place offer GF chicken tenders but they do and they are great. And the GF bun on my burger didn't fall apart! The menu is short but excellent. They have outside dining as well. This is a refreshing spot to eat and hasn't been busy when I was there. So please eat there and support this great little restaurant. Old Post: Brunch was delicious. Typical breakfast fare. The bacon was excellent, sunny side up eggs done right, and service spot on. Coffee was just right which is sooo important for breakfast. But the grilled mushrooms on the eggs were crazy good. Will be back!

Have ordered the Turkey Pastrami Sandwich three times, picked up and took home. The first time both the sandwich and fries were excellent. Sandwich and fries were hot, generously portioned, and flavorful. Second order, the sandwich was excellent, however fries were undercooked, limp and cool. Third order, the meat on the sandwich and fries were 1/2 the normal portion size, both were cold, and the fries were limp and greasy. I will absolutely go back as I want to support a neighborhood restaurant, and I would like to try their brunch.

I’m a Celiac, and finding good gluten free food is challenging! These beautiful people have a dedicated fryer just so we gluten free folk can have things like the buffalo chicken sandwich with shoestring fries I just devoured! Delicious! Thank you, Butter Bar and Kitchen NNE! I’ll be back for more soon! Your menu is delightful and your food scrumptious! 😋

I walked here for dinner with a friend. Ran into a lot of people from the neighborhood. It was nice. The food quality and tasty was very good, service was impeccable, prices are midrange and the atmosphere is clean and bright. We left happy. I will be back. Note to anyone not from this neighborhood, any reviews on this listing before January 2022 were for the restaurant that was here before.

Was super excited to eat here for diner and help support a local neighbor restaurant. My server forgot to put my diner on the order and then informed me that the kitchen was closed when I asked where my diner is. She did offer me a piece of cake but then happily informed me that I wasn’t charged for the diner, duh she didn’t put it on the ticket. Would have loved to have actually eaten diner. When I left the owner asked what she could do to make things right instead of offering any solutions. Maybe comp the app or a gift card would have been nice. Hoping next time they can get things inline. 1/17-Thank you for the prop response and remedying the situation. I look forward to coming back and supporting your restaurant.

We ate here last night and arrived on the early side of dinner service. We were seated right away and served very quickly. Our waiter (Jake, I believe!) was great as was the food and drink. We ordered the smothered burritos and a couple of cheese quesadillas for the kiddos. Everything was served hot, fresh, fast and was delicious. Looking forward to many meals at our new favorite neighborhood restaurant!

Greatest addition to the NNE in a very long time. Ive eaten there so many times already and it’s been open less than a month! All the food I’ve had there has been very delicious. The special nachos and chili colorado con carne have been my favorites, but the smothered burritos are great too! For your morning wake me up, iced coffee (strongest Cold brew in the state, believe me), breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, and chili cheese scones are all so good. They really have options for everyone. Just writing this review makes me want to go back now!

Mara and Spencer’s delicious Southwest fare single handedly got me through COVID lock down. The weekly handheld breakfast burrito deliveries were the best. Now that they’ve opened Chile North, I can get my fill more often. In for dinner last Friday and sat at the bar. The margaritas were simple but authentic, the chiles rellenos bites have a bit of heat and are addicting. The chicken smothered burrito with both green chile and chile colorado was 👍 👍 The staff was great and the place was packed. It’s great to have Chile North in a full time location. I’ll be back real soon.

Great casual restaurant and bar near Leddy Park. Fantastic close spot to go to before high school hockey games. Service was friendly and manager regularly checks in to see how things are going. The smash burgers aren't really smash burgers (actually smashed down with good sear), but they are good regular burger with few different options - my son enjoyed his Mansfield Burger with bacon, apple, cheddar and herb aioli. The wings were fantastic, despite being super saucy they were still perfectly crispy and the buffalo sauce was well executed with perfect balance of butter and hot sauce.

Awesome breakfast stop. Fast and polite service. I got the golden French today (vegan). It was very good and not particularly sweet, which made it pair beautifully with the Vermont maple syrup!
