The Thai burrito is very good!!! The peanut sauce is a bit spicy so if that's not your thing ask for none or light. The bbq pulled pork burrito with jalapeno sour cream is delicious. Both burritos are more then enough for one. Small selection of beer, large selection of non alcoholic beverages

I got the chicken bowl $9.25, not bad but could make the same thing myself at home. Typical tex/mex same as you would get from moes or chipolte. None of the workers seemed to be in a good mood and it wasn't even busy.

Tasty burritos, bowls and tacos for those on the go! Bueno Y Sano has great options for carnivores and vegetarians with some very unique flavor combinations. Of course, traditional options are available too. Dining solo for this stop I chose the chipotle chicken burrito with medium heat sauce. I did stop by during the lunch rush so my order did take longer than usual to prepare. But, no worries! I enjoyed a Heady Topper beer while I waited. I also grabbed a bit of their hot sauce to try … nice and SPICY! A pleasant surprise. Burrito in hand, I first notice that the flour tortilla is quite nice. Definitely a better quality than the typical fast food restaurants, and I’m wondering if the tortillas are from the local All Souls Tortilleria in Burlington. The burrito was STUFFED! The chicken was tender, and nicely chipotle sauced. The medium hot sauce was very good, and the addition of the hot sauce gave the heat level a nice kick. The burrito also included black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, rice, and sour cream. Overall, a very good burrito for a quick stop, and I appreciate that it is not a chain restaurant. Give Bueno Y Sano a try next time you’re craving Mexican flavors!

All the ingredients for their fairly limited menu are fresh and delicious. Burritos are some of the best I've had. Love the salsa bar (was even better when they had staff to make the corn salsa)! Atmosphere could use a little work. Service was fine but they are short-staffed like everyone so it wasn't great.

The burritos are HUGE. The guacamole was flavorful, the best we've had, chips were great, I could eat them plain. I want to come back and try the tacos, if there as good as the chips I'll be elated.

I just love the food here! The chicken & spinach quesedilla is my favorite. Comes with a healthy side serving on black beans and pico as do most of their dishes. Healthy and made quickly on the spot, the food is always fresh. Spend just over $20 for a nice meal with drinks for 2 people. Highly recommend this place for dine in or take out.

This is about the best south of the border food in all of Burlington. It serves San Fran style burritos. The spicy is actually spicy and not European spicy. You get a lot of food for the money. Strangely, the whole wheat tortillas are better than the regular. Been having the spicy tofu recently and I really enjoy it. Not true Mexican, but, honestly, it's the closest you will get for a couple of hundred miles.

Helped me out big time today getting lunch for my team at work. Tried to go to Chipotle but they were closed with no notice. Staff converted 10 Chipotle orders to match as close as possible on Cinco de Mayo with no head notice and got everything ready in about 30 mins. Food was all great too and my team was happy! Tasty and fast. They have great vegetarian options and flavored tofu add-ons. It doesn't stand out compared to similar places like Moe's, but it's not bad.

Food tasted amazing, and I love their options available on the menu. We ate in since we live an hour away and we were pretty happy with our meal. I was a little disappointed because I ordered a taco with a gluten free tortilla, and it came with a regular flour tortilla. I didn't complain at the time, just gave it to my husband, so to be fair I didn't give them a chance to fix it, but I also had other food that was great and met my dietary needs, and in quantities that I didn't need the taco after all!

This was the first time my partner and I tried Bueno Y Sano. The food is amazing, although the tacos are a tad small for the price. Also, the tacos look like mini burritos instead of tacos; I thought we got the wrong order because of it. Lol. The burritos are on the smaller size as well but a burrito is still more filling than a taco. So if you are thinking of trying the tacos I would suggest getting two to feel full. We will definitely be back.

Love their spicy BBQ pork burrito! Husband and I have ordered basically the same thing for a few months and haven't been disappointed (although we def got the wrong burritos a few times, it was only a little less tasty plus not egregious enough to return—so not too bad). Their stuffed jalapenos are definitely worth the purchase, too!

I have been to this place twice and they have great food for a very fair price. My only complaint is that both times I ate here, they forgot something. The first time it was the sour cream and the second it was the cheese. Otherwise this is a great place and I would recommend.

When I crave a simple burrito with good ingredients I go here . Not much for a wide menu variety and don't expect authentic Mexican , but these folks are putting it down in good east coast style. Dining area is super spacious but doesn't have much character .

This was the first time I went here. I love Mexican food and although I realize I’m in Vermont I did expect more. I was craving nachos. I continued to crave bc these are not on the menu. The rice was cold and the steak quesadilla was pretty much just cheese. The nachos were too hard probably over cooked? I probably will not be going back

Can't rave about this place enough What's good here? Everything. What should you have? Try anything, your taste buds will thank you. Always masks on, they're respectful and courteous to me every time. Couldn't ask for more from a take-out like this. They even sell Stewart's root beer.... :)

They customized my chicken quesadilla (with spinach, mushrooms, and no beans or rice). It was oozing and delicious. My only complaint was that the plate was way too small - had to eat it as finger food (see: oozing). Sunday afternoon, laid back crowd, enjoyed it.

Food was fine, staff was very friendly and helpful with questions we had. We visited in late August at a time that was not during the dinner rush. However, the soda machine area was in disarray, soda spilled, some cups with soda near the 'clean' cups, tables were dirty and we had to wipe down a table for our family to sit at. The salsa/sauce area was very messy with sauce all over the counter part. I would not visit this location unless they bring up their standards of cleanliness. There was no reason one of the staff members could not take a couple of minutes to do a quick cleaning.

Soooo good. It's doesn't have the same atmosphere as the downtown Burlington location, but it's the same delicious food. I recommend the steak quesadilla. The portions are large. The burritos are tight too. The size of dino eggs. Only critique I'd give is that they got this dank corn salsa that you get at little self service area but they are out of it quite a bit

We always enjoy our experience here. The staff is usually very friendly and accommodating. The food tastes like my Dad's or my Grandma's from Puerto Rico. It is not uncommon for me to tear up because it's so good it brings be back to great taste memories. Reasonable and delicious.

I had chicken taco and thai burrito. i could have done without the taco, not knowing how big they were. my wife had chicken burrito. The food was excellent. The 4.00 taco with chicken or steak is a great lunch item. I also had the fire roasted jalapeno with cream cheese. Excellent.

Best Mexican inspired food I've had in Vermont. Chef's actually season the food and the flavors are packed into every mouthful. Came here for the first time today and I already can not wait to go back (maybe dinner tonight!) Highly recommend; from a past desert dweller herself.

Reasonable prices, but somewhat unimpressive food. On the Monday night we were there, it seemed like the place to be for dads who were responsible for feeding their kids that evening. There are livelier options nearby with better food. (The young cashier may have been medicated, so I'll try to go easy on his ability to stare right through us with no hint of emotion.)

I am a big fan of Moe's but I was curious about Bueno. Bueno is slightly more expensive and their burritos are a bit smaller. Plus, they charge for chips...at Moe's they are free. The salsas at Bueno were in fact very good, the burritos on the other hand just O.K..the tacos above average.

Food at Bueno is usually fairly good. The service is fine....they do get busy around lunchtime and it's slower. But I've noticed the lack of cleanliness that's disappointing; dirty tables, sticky floors and the bathrooms are....well, I won't go into that. Hope they get either better detailed management or more employees.

Great American-Mexican joint in the style of Chipotle/Moe's/Boloco (most like that last one, which is a good thing). Only thing keeping this place from five stars is the salsa. It has good flavor but has been pureed beyond texture. A nice chunky option would make this place perfect.

Loved this place upon first visit. Then decided it's a happy medium comparatively for the area. Somewhere above Moe's in quality, and less-annoying atmosphere than Moe's. Simple and not pretentious or overly fancy like other Burlington Mexican eateries.

I got the Thai burrito as a bowl, comes in a small plate. My mistake for ordering Thai food at a Mexican restaurant but would not suggest it. I usually think you can't go wrong with peanut sauce but I have been proven wrong. I gave them a three stars because I have been to other Bueno y Sano that are amazing but this was sad.

My job is 100% travel, so finding a spot like this while on the road hopping hotel to hotel mon-fri is a blessing. Friendly staff w/ great recommendations on what to try is so nice when you dont know the menu. Add in some really good food and quick service and you have 5 stars in my book. Chicken burrito bowl, 2 pork tacos, and fresh chips w/ fresh guac has me feeling good and healthy. I'll be back next time I'm up to VT for work, no doubt.
