Reviews of Asiana Noodle Shop
First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. All the dishes were ordered were very good. We were seated promptlu and our food also came quickly. Not a lot of seating so I'd you came during a busy time it might be tough to get a seat. Restaurant is also downstairs and not handicap accessible.
Impressive and extensive menu. If you have a party with mixed taste and need lots of vegetarian options along with more traditional, you are in the right place. The food and service are fantastic. Be warned that it is small and they don’t take reservations. Be prepared to arrive early and give your name, then walk around Church Street for a bit. It’s worth the wait.
Also it is not accessible if that is your need.
My favorite place to get food from!! The food is the best and hits the spot perfectly.. I’ve never had a hard avocado in my sushi and my drinks are always so flavorful couldn't ask for any better :) the workers are also super friendly love them <3
Overpriced, small portions for that price, and below average food. I cannot recommend going here based on my experience. However, we did order noodles and the sushi looked better. The service was also good.
Great sushi! Pad Thai is amazing!
Great selection on the menu for vegan offerings - fabulous to see!! Friendly staff, tasty food and lots of it!
The lunch deals are nice. Their sushi is pretty good and filling. Soups/curry are great for a cold day.
Asiana Noodle Shop is the first place I ever ate in Church St. When I moved here, and from that day the Cargo Noodles have always been a balm against the cold winters. Tom Yum soup was a soup my friends and I always got from a little shop in Boston when I was younger, and I'd been chasing that high until I found Asiana's recipe. The flavors are excellent and consistent, and the portions are generous. Try the katsu, the shumai, and the shrimp tempura too. No wrong answers at this place.
Fantastic food and great staff. Sushi and kimchi beef stew were delicious and appropriately spicy.
My 1st experience with a noodle house was with a very authentic place in Washington Heights in NYC and Asiana Noodle Shop is just as good if not better.
I would be willing to ride my motorcycle from Springfield, MA to Burlington and back just to have lunch at Asiana. That's over a 400 mile round trip. It's that good. Plus, no driving in NYC traffic!
Be sure to try the Holy Duck and if you like seafood, the Emperor Soup. The egg fried rice was amazing. Sorry that the picture of the Holy Duck was taken after I had begun to eat.
There is a perfect ambience for a noodle house and the service was terrific.
What a spectacular spot!
Have come here several times, online orders are always correct and taste delicious! If you are ordering during a busy time (ie. Friday night), I would give them a few extra minutes for your pick up time. They get BUSY!
Seriously the best food! Anything you get is spot on and delicious. They are kind and gracious, give great service and are ALWAYS dependable.
Perfection! Today was the first day I was able to dine in at this lovely establishment. Some of my friends recommended me this restaurant when I first moved here last September after ranting about how disappointed I was with Gaku Ramen. For a while now, I have gravitated towards Japanese and Korean culture, and found myself invested in their foods as well as the history. It’s been a while since I have had food as authentic as Asiana noodle shop anywhere in New England. The closest I’ve gotten to this level of authenticity was when I was last in New York City over a year ago to visit my brother in K-Town.
Typically I order the Katsu Curry, which is a Japanese comfort food that is probably my favorite meal of all time. Though, I have mostly gotten that through takeout. Today, I ordered tteokbokki (spicy Korean rice cakes) and Korean BBQ ribs over rice. They informed me that they were out of traditional tteokbokki rice cakes, but made an exception by using the flatter version. I was honestly okay with this for a few reasons. Gaku ramen was out of most everything every time I went, so this is as beyond exceptional service and I couldn’t have been happier. The second reason was that I hadn’t had tteokbokki in a long time (last time I had it, I made it myself using ingredients from hmart), so my standards weren’t extremely high to begin with. While they were not the best, I was happy that they could whip up what they could, and I would happily order it again if they have the true longer rice cakes in the future!
The Korean short ribs were delicious! Back in my home town of Newburyport, a local shop provides freshly made Korean short ribs that my father would BBQ in the summer. Sadly, I am not home this summer, so I really missed this dish. I was blown away with how delicious the short ribs are at asiana! I will absolutely be ordering them again, if not as an entree, than as an appetizer portion!
I would also like to mention that the staff are exceptionally well mannered and friendly! It’s always super enjoyable. The environment has quite the character too, and the place is a hidden gem for sure! It’s super easy to walk past this place on church street! I highly recommend coming here!
Love this place, the yellow curry lunch special is absolutely fire. Pretty decent price for what you’re getting. Great date spot
We've placed a few take out orders here and so far so good! To start, they've always gotten our orders correct and on time. Some items we'll reorder as our regulars and some wasn't to our taste. I appreciate them serving Tonkatsu Ramen here as it seems hard to find in the area. Definitely a go to restaurant for us.
Delicious sushi and sashimi as well as other Japanese entrees. I highly recommend Asiana Noodle Shop. Online ordering is easy and convenient and you can choose your exact pick up time. I've been eating sushi here for over 6 years and the food has always been outstanding!
I recently discovered this restaurant and I am SO impressed with the quality of their food. They make some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Everytime I order from them my meal is fresh and delicious. The app that you use for their takeout is easy to use and sends notifications when your food is ready. I highly recommend them!
Always great concoctions, awesome sushi, be prepared to wait at busy times but, worth it.
Went for lunch. Portions were large and the flavors were delicious.
i like the atmosphere, but i am not satisfied. we got takoyaki balls where neither the quantity (4) or the taste (pretty average) justified the price ($10.95). boba was good though.
Great food and service. We order door dash from them often and the food is always great. I forgot my normal sides the other day and they put them in without asking. We need more businesses like that! Thanks Asiana Noodle Shop!
Amazing restaurant. Brilliant curry and lots of vegetarian options. Service is impeccable.
The menu was extensive and diverse. My friend and I enjoyed our meals completely and the service was attentive and polite. We can’t wait to go back!
Decent quality food for a fusion/diverse menu. Friendly staff. They definitely try their best to make improvements.
I have had sushi all my life... and this place easily has some of the best sushi I have ever had. It is consistently delicious and fresh. The staff is also really wonderful and friendly. Please give them your business! :)
Everytime we order eat here (or order) we wonder why we don't every day. Today's sushi and curry was incredible. The hot pot is amazing and the seasonal salads are beautiful and delicious.
Vegan GF Heaven! I have a limited amount of things I can eat and Asiana makes vegan sushi an maki so creatively and with such love that it surpasses all other vegetarian sushi I’ve had. This place is a staple for anyone that likes sushi but not seafood.
This was a favorite of mine back in college, coming back a few years later it isn't quite the same. The portions are generous and the noodles are good, but not great. The price is a bit high for the quality and has definitely gone up over the years. The atmosphere is great, it has the small hole-in-the-wall feel that you might get in a larger city, and as far as noodle options in the Burlington/Vermont in general area go, it is certainly the best.
Staff were pleasant and attentive, food was prepared relatively quickly and at no point did I feel rushed in my dining experience. The broth needs a bit more flavor development, and there is a curious shortage of pork options (even in the ramen) which certainly detracts from the flavor profile.
One of the best restaurants in Burlington, especially for takeout, which suits the times we live in now. The place is busy because the food is good and the interior is humbly-sized, so expect possible delays during primetime. I've had at least 15 different items on the menu here by now, and they have all been delicious.
I have never been disappointed by Asiana Noodle Shop. Everything on the menu is delicious. It's a perfect low-key date spot downtown. Definitely do not be turned off by the humble interior... it is 110% worth it.
Dinner was good but took a while to come out. Waitress was very nice
A little upscale price for the establishment. Food was good , good service. Happy with the experience overall. No indoor dining at this time
Been looking for a good Asian noodle shop in Vermont for a while. I was on Google looking for something and their cargo bowl called out to me so I decided to make the trip to Burlington for it. It's a small restaurant on Church Street so you have to really look for it or you'll pass right by it. Was met by our server Jeremy who was friendly and handed us our waters. The menu is HUGE. I kept scrolling but couldn't pinpoint what I found on Google. I showed Jeremy my phone and he named it in .5 seconds and showed us everything that was offered for it. We ended up getting a sashimi entree as well as two cargo bowls with seafood. The only thing is I didn't notice was that I didn't receive my pork dumpling and my bf didn't get his shrimp shumai in our bowls until we left the restaurant and was charged for it. But overall, the experience was great with Jeremy and the food was excellent.
*I called the shop and the manager was very kind and offered us credit for the dumplings. Great service :)
Absolutely delicious food!
We've loved Asiana Noodle House for years! Consistently high quality food and we love the fusion maki choices. Eating outside is a bonus, too, watching folks on Church Street. Love, love, love them!
i’ve had good experiences here, so I’m not gonna knock more stars off, but man, their menu needs more details. They must’ve changed some base-line things on their menu because this is NOT the noodle shop food I know. Quite disappointed:/
Yes it's a basement (with outdoor seating), yes the decor is a lil dated and basic.
The food is simply amazing, I typically get Spicy Miso soup with chicken and the portions are ridiculously huge; even for 15$, the bowl is much bigger than your head. I always eat too much and it's clear the ingredients are quality, I will always steer the group towards this place than Goku!
I love this place and have visited here every time I've come to the location. Knew the area was under mandates still but thier site showed the we're allowing dine in. Tried to call but they didn't bother to answer. Got to the restaurant and they were only allowing take out. Disappointing.
One of the best restaurants downtown. The sushi and soups are both amazing. You really can't go wrong no matter what you order. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Everyone wants a part of this place and I believe its first come first serve.
Wonderful food. Authentic.
Has an awesome location
This place is delicious. Food and service. It is never not a good idea to eat here. Lots of vegetarian friendly options too.
Whenever we have friends from out of state visit, and we want to take them to one of the best low key restaurants.. We take them here. The specials are always amazing, especially the bibimbap.
My personal favorite spot to eat on Church Street. Great value, while not sacrificing quality, with a wide selection to top it off.
Highly recommend their cargo noodles.
Great spot with lots of options! Enjoyed our Sunday lunch here
I got the BBQ pork soup. Great price, huge portions, and fast service. Would mukbang here again
Bright dining area good for up to 4 person groups. The stir fry lunch special is a great value, fresh and subtly seasoned.
This is one of our go-to take out places and always have a good mea. Great variety and friendly staff. Love it!
The atmosphere is a little meh, but their noodles (sukiyaki) are very good. Been there a few times and each time I have come away satisfied and full.
Tom yum cargo noodles (vermicelli) and kimchi cargo noodles (mung bean) were both super outstanding; take away packaging was excellent. Thinking we may return tomorrow.
New favorite sushi place. Everything I've gotten so far as absolutely fantastic. First place I've found that has takoyaki in the area, and is a fav of mine.
The cargo bowl is a great deal, so much food for the price. The staff is great, can be forgetful however. I would go back, when I am in the area.
Everything on the menu is absolutely DELICIOUS! Best Asian Food in Burlington, hands down : )
Great food large vegan menu and easy to order and pick up
Definitely in my top 5 go-to restaurants in all of Burlington! I love this place.
Always amazing, even in the middle of a pandemic. Takeout only for now. Totally worth it.
One of my favorite restaurants in the Greater Burlington area. The food and service are consistently fantastic.
Yaki soba was delicious! Meal was ready fast and staff were very kind.
Fantastic Asian cuisine and freindly curtious wait staff. Bbq sauce phenominal. Also try the house plum wine.
One of Burlingtons best
Absolutely delicious! Service was wonderful and the food amazing!
good food but tiny portion sizes
Always great service and quality food makes me come back over and over!

It has a nice touch of authentic cuisine and was delicious! Prices were very reasonable. Enjoyed it immensely!
