First of all once seated service from waiter was top notch. I could not have requested better. On the other side was the wait for seating it was long and arduous. Several pickup orders were handled promptly during that time. Patrons waiting on a seat was not good, and restaurant was not packed. One group left during the wait. Food was good, as expected.

Attempted to go on Sunday afternoon but the restaurant was absolutely packed, which was a good sign 👍🏻 Went back on Tuesday, early afternoon, and there were quite a few customers but not too busy. Food was very well prepared and delicious and prices were decent. Our server was friendly and on top of the game! We’ll be back for sure!

So I went to applebee's just for chicken tortilla soup with my wife we sat at the bar or we would have had to wait 30-45 mins for a table so I order the soup and burger my wife oder the tenders So they bring out my crock of soup and it wasn't even half full for $3.95 I I wasn't happy and i let the bar tender know he let's me know they don't come full its just a crock of soup I let him know my opinion which wasn't very good he took the crock of soup back to the kitchen 2 minutes later he came back with a full crock of chicken soup for me I was very pleased by this, what a great bar tender he made.my day I only went to Applebee's for the soup which is the best around in my opinion . The service of the bar tender will keep me coming back . Great job

The last time we went to Applebee's, we literally stood at the podium for almost 15 minutes, while the entire restaurant was practically empty. Servers passed us several times with greeting us or even acknowledging us, we ended up leaving, and going to Chili's! That experience made us very hesitant to go to Applebee's today, New Years Day, 2023. But we were greeted instantly, seated, served, and finished all within an hour! And they were pretty busy today! Our server allison was fantastic, our food was delicious, and we left, full and happy! Thanks Tim and the whole crew at the South Burlington Applebee's! Happy New Year

Standard casual dining experience. It was clean and the staff was friendly - who can ask for more?! Now, that is. Post COVID standards mean celebrating what should be understood, but what can you do? Apps and entrees came out together, which is always a bummer. Eating out sucks now...

Our mandatory stop when visiting Burlington . The staff was great but they need more people. Our waitress accommodated us in every possible ways but she had so many tables to man by herself, poor her . Half the restaurant was closed since they were not enough waitresses...The food was good all in all and the family was happy even if it took quite a while to get all our dishes . I really hop they will be able to recruit more staff in orderto give a break to the current team.

Everytime we have come to Applebee's, it's always short staffed but everyone that is working is kind, calm to the patrons that get upset if there is more than a half hour wait, and there to please all. I really like Applebee's, me and my aunt also started this thing last halloween of trying the different seasonal drinks that come out. So far the halloween ones have been our favorite followed by the Christmas. Valentines wasn't too bad and memorial day or 4th were pretty good. Our recent summer ones were ok. I also like most of the food too. One of my favs is the whiskey burger. OH its so juicy and delicious.

After a horrible experience at another business in the area earlier in the day, we were pleasantly surprised to have the exact opposite experience of that here. There was a short wait to be seated despite empty tables (probably short staffed, I get it), but once we were seated we were treated like royalty. Our server, Christopher, was extremely personable, quick to greet us, hand us menus, and begin taking drink orders; once everything was ordered, he constantly checked in on us, gave us updates on how everything was coming along, and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need anything. After dealing earlier with customer service employees who hated their jobs and showed it, it was refreshing to have someone who clearly loved his job like Christopher did. As for the food, well, it's an Applebee's, your typical chain restaurant; it's fine. Nothing to write home about, but it was very reasonably priced; if you're looking for something in the area to eat that's safe, this is it...assuming you can find it, that is. This review is all about the service, which was five stars-plus.

good service most of the food good but worst steak i had ever seen it was super thin on one half n super thick on the other made it impossible for the cook to give me a medium steak as he or she didnt cut it and cook it seperate (that would have been the only way to make it edible at all) but they did offer to make me a new one or something else i declined but they did take it off my bill only time I've ever had a issue with any food at applebees i truly think it was just the bad cut of steak n the cook not wanting to cut/cook the steak seperate

Miranda was supper polite and food was great bread steak slightly under cooked but not huge issue. I eat 1 dough one which I enjoyed. But otherwise she would have gotta me new ones. So I went here on Wed March 23rd and March 28th. It was so fantastic and so welcoming by two wonderful people who work here, Christopher and Arianna. Both times they have made sure that my orders were not touch with by any seafood because I have an allergy that requires me to use an Epen. Even the managers here watched very closely to make sure. The cooks are the greatest. Very friendly people and I will be going back more often!!! Great staff!!!

I had to take a selfie to make sure i am not invisible, the kept walking by me like i am bot even there , eye contacts and everything. I am just sitting here like an idiot waithing for someone to say hi . And they back there dancing and talking and woohaaa . Manager walking around like he is on a sunday walk in the park . I take another selfie . I AM NOT INVISIBLE . So i finnaly said something. Oooh i am sorry we are little bit confused on whos got what tables . I can take your order now . Oh , what a relieve it is ! The wait service was exceptional, checked on my son and myself just the right number of times, not overbearing. Our meals arrived at the table in short time. However, the cut of beef I got was a bit grisly and fatty. (Theflavor was great though) overall, it was a positive experience. I subtracted one star for the cut of beef being a bit sub-standard in my opinion.

Went to Applebee's with my girls😀. The food was great. The service was great. I ordered food to go as well. I ordered 2 chicken grilled and crispy salads and a sandwich. Once I got home the sandwich was great BUT the salads 🤔were Terrible. The bacon was burnt in one and the other had one small burnt piece, plus other issues. I went back to Applebee's and the manager Joe Was AMAZING. He was so nice and down to earth and fix the salads. Thank you Joe and everyone at APPLEBEES. 🙂🙂

I went April 13th with my daughter . grandson and a couple friends for my birthday . It was noon and they got all 5 of us in right off . only 2 waitress and no hostess but they could not have been any better because the service was impeccable and the rib eye I ordered was cooked perfectly rare . it melted in my mouth . delicious. Thank you to the bartender the 2 waitress and 2 gentle men... I'm guessing management for the best birthday lunch I've ever had . 💞

I wish I would have got the managers name that was on just now right before closing, he was willing to remake my food that I had received wrong. I by no means was going out to get more food tonight, he gave me a credit so I can get what I was supposed to get at a later date. I have not seen such a high level of customer appreciation in a long time. Feels good knowing I picked the right place to have dinner tonight. Really really satisfied with the amazing customer service.

Felt like a pre covid visit, staff were all great, enthusiastic and confident. The food was great and we didn't have any long wait what so ever. We did however call ahead and make a reservation. Not sure if that's standard, but we arrived early and had a place already waiting and clean. My family has always felt welcomed and to return and the familiar staff make sure of it!

It was amazingly good! They have very many options to pick from and there all so good I got the chicken parm pasta. I would recommend to anyone who likes pasta! Very kind staff very patient and nice. They helped with any questions we had even some allergies in our party they new the answers. They made the food fantastic perfect temperature perfect portions with also very PERFECT PRICE!! I will be going back very soon. Trying many different meals!

Its very clean. The staff is friendly. My only complaint is that our waitress took our order for beverages. As we waited for our beers . She did not inform us after 15 minutes that they needed to switch kegs . We had to flag her down to find out what the hold up was. Appetizers were very good . Usually there are no complaints. As far as food goes, it is the standard Applebee's menu and the food is above average for the type of restaurant. The service is what made me give it five stars. I got the best (by far) service I have ever had at an Applebee's so kudos to the staff and management. Just one of many examples I can give, my server brought me another because it wasn't cooked the way I asked even though I didn't say a word and thought it was fine as is. I will eat here every time I am in Burlington, now.

The majority of the times I've been to this Applebees, it's been really great. The only problems I've experienced was that the chicken pasta dish (I don't remember the name of it) didn't really have enough sauce and the food is a little pricy for the type of restaurant. Other than that, all of my experienced here have been great! The last time I was here, the waiter was very kind and patient about teaching me how to use the electronic system on the table to order more food/drinks and to pay my bill. He even walked me through it by inputting what I had just asked for on the order screen.

The servers are always on point. The website and kitchen staff are lack luster. Ordered the steak fajitas and was given hardly any cheese, while the sour cream and guacamole were excessive. The steak was not cut to fit in the tortillas. Also ordered the 3 cheese chicken penne and the server added an extra bread stick, which was excellent. Do not recommend ordering take out through the website.

I have to admit- I am very skeptical about Applebee’s and chain restaurants in general but this one is phenomenal. Super clean and friendly. If you are lucky enough to sit at the bar and have Brad as your bartender, he goes above and beyond for his customers. I have had good days and bad days at this place. The good has vastly outweighed the bad however. This visit was great. I had a server named Kelsie. She was attentive and the food was great. I would take advantage of the before 5pm 1/2 off apps. Only one of two places to get American food at the mall at this point.

My daughter and I had dinner at this Applebee's location in South Burlington, Vermont. I really enjoy their Parmesan Shrimp Sirloin and this visit did nor disappoint. We had great service and great food. Definitely a good experience all around!

It was good. There was 1 single noodle that was different than the rest in my Mac and cheese with chicken. Not a huge deal, how ever it's was not uniform with the rest of the dish. They discounted our meal. The Dollar Momma had too much Malibu Coconut rum, it over powered the rest of the alcohol and the flavor of this drink. Needs consistency. Less ice aswell please. No one likes an iced down drink. The service was good. Tighten it up for 5 Stars. Thankyou.

I placed an order on GrubHub, and unfortunately had the delivery driver cancel the order after it had been roughly an hour and a half. I called Applebee's and the person I spoke with was very helpful and polite! They already had the order made so he called GrubHub to try to find me a new delivery driver. When it did arrive the delivery driver made sure to mention they had remade the order fresh so it was still hot by time it arrived to us and everything tasted delicious.

Update 2: went here for second time for some bread sticks..guess what!! Now they have Veggie Burger patty!!!! Thanks Applebee's. :) For Vegetarians the options are limited to Salads. But some menu items can be customized such as pasta and burger by removing meat. Good place with welcoming ambiance. Would recommend to a friend.

We are visiting S.Burlington for a convention and decided on a late dinner at Applebees on Dorset Rd. We asked hostess for "The Best" server available. Immediately a couple walking out said "ASK FOR CHELSEA " So we did. Boy was that a great choice. She was FANTASTIC!! Also, Josh the manager also took a pic and was very handsome.

Had a great experience at Applebees in South Burlington tonight! 9/24/17 I got home and was disappointed to realize that I had thrown out my receipt but wanted to recognize our server! I work at one of the stores in the mall and was enjoying snacks with coworker afterwards. One of my coworkers brought her young daughter along who happens to have autism. She was slightly loud at times singing and playing the drums on the table which probably annoyed some other customers. But that's just her being happy and expressing herself. However, Taylor was our server tonight and she wasn't phased at all. Taylor was upbeat and polite and provided us with excellent service! Taylor clapped along with us! And even high fived her and said awesome girlfriend!! I was beyond impressed with the service that Taylor provided and I hope she gets recognized for doing so! Not everyone shows the same kind of compassion and understanding!
