Reviews of Al's French Frys
Review Time With Tim
Love the chili dogs with the works. Not quite a Rhode Island weiner but it does the job. Burgers have a good taste but are thin. Love the French Fries. Good vibe inside. At times this place can be packed. Also a small playground outside for the kids.

The best meal I had in South Burlington actually, and I was there for a week. Philly cheese steak was the best. I'd love to come back here again.
It is fairly close to the airport and along the main Street.
Staff was really fantastic too. Truly an all American Diner.
David Kastner
Love this place. Oldies feel with great food and amazing staff. One note is the appropriate amount of staff to cover the business walking in. So over trying to support small business with there only being 1 or 2 employees, none of who ore the owners. I get it, but this was refreshing. Seems they are taking care of their people.

Al's is great. We were driving through Vermont on our way east. I am glad we stopped here. We enjoyed our meal and the whole Al's experience. The burgers were a bit small so make sure you order two of them but they are tasty. This is a typical American diner right down to the neon lights and old school music. I didn't really have any complaints, just the size of the burgers but that's their thing so just be aware that you may have to order two to be satisfied. I would definitely recommend Al's.
Maureen Daddario
I would suggest only getting the double cheeseburger. The single is pathetic, lol! All toppings you pay extra for, and I wasn't aware of that when I ordered. I still really liked the atmosphere and would come back again. Onion rings were delicious!!!
Jaclyn Hunter
Stayed at a local hotel that was dangerously close to this fried paradise... We were sad that during our last trip to Burlington we couldn’t make it to Al’s. It is so classic Americana, don’t miss it for guilty pleasures. The corn dogs were very nostalgic. The only caveat is they forgot bacon on the cheeseburger I paid for and we didn’t realize until later.
Susan Murphy
Best French Fries I've ever had. Excellent no bean chili. Small sliders like White Castle. Famous place in Burlington VT. Very busy when I was there but worth it.
Valerie D
Tasty burger but pricy for a tiny burger ( smaller than McDonald’s) and lettuce tomato extra but I believe it’s more about the experience n vibe. French fries excellent!!! Nice people cute old place
Francis Ayombil
One of our family’s favorite places to visit in the summer and during the holidays season. There is great seating 💺 indoors and a nice little playground with outdoor seating especially in the summer for the kids. Food has always been top notch with their signature French fries 🍟 unbeatable in the state of Vermont. Love to visit this place whenever I am in Vermont. Cheers 🍻

Fun place reminds me of the 5 & Dinner places we once had in the West.
Burger & Chilli dog were very good, frys were awesome...they have about 1000 combination of things. Great menu.
Fast and friendly service... resturant was clean, bathrooms were small and busy. This place really brings in the people!
Good fast food at a great price!

Flew in from LA for business meeting. Walked from my hotel to Al's and it was fantastic. Burger is old school and excellent 👍 fries with gravy are a Vermont delicacy and Al's does it justice.
Chris Kieffer
Burgers are small but fltatsed fine. Fries are delicious but they have usually been sitting a few minutes before you get them so they are warm, at best. They need to come out hot and fresh. Shake was very good.
Serenity M
They have a type of dole whip for a non-dairy option if anyone in your group is lactose intolerant. Their fries are really tasty too! 🍟 …
boostin dominck
Food was great classic greasy spoon, good atmosphere and mix of locals and out of town guests. Amazing prices
Jack Kelly
Americana diner en route to Canada. It serves what you expect and the quality is in line with expectations. The place could do with more frequent deep cleaning.
Nancy Gunther
What do you love the best about Al’s French Fries ?!!
Is it the cool decor with the music rocking tunes from the 50’s , 60’s or 70’s ?
Is the delicious meals no matter what you order?
Is it the friendly personnel who greet you and who prepare your meal ?
This is hard to say !
We frequent Al’s French Fries once a week and just love the red booths and checkered floors . It is a place of celebration and happy memories.
I highly recommend Al’s French Fries for anyone seeking a fun time as well as a delicious meal.
Laura Butterfield
No fault of their own but Due to distribution issue, Al’s isn’t able to get their regular potatoes. Theses are disappointing and don’t live up to quality and the Al’s Famous Fry. Wish I knew before I spent $8 on a quart…
Burfunk
Coming from Chicago I will say this is a super cheap place to eat! The burgers will blow your mind, but they're a little on the small side, if you're hungry order 2! Corn dog breading is OUT OF THIS WORLD and so scrumpdidlyumptious!!! Fries are amazing! YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Dave Landry
We arrived just before the dinner crowd! Fries were golden brown and perfectly crispy cooked to perfection! We ordered the gravy because we really like it but didn't want to cover up the taste of the fries so most of that ended up coming home to save for later. 😊 …
Clarissa Monét Segars
They have Americana fast food down to a T! The prices, efficient and friendly staff, unique service, quality, and options are perfect. It gets busy but the lines move fast and the food comes out hot and quick. Lots of seating inside and out, plus a playground. I got a hot dog (lovely seared dog on a butter toasted NE split top bun), a single cheeseburger wit lettuce, tomatoes and chopped white onions (white onions on a burger are so much better than red!!!), and crispy, perfectly-cut fries. I have no idea how the McDonald's next door survives!
Joy Yonan-Renold
Al's is a happy hallowed place where taste bud's dreams come true! Sort of. The fries and fried chicken are the best. I'd love it if there was a bit more calamari in the fried calamari, better buns, and please, please, KEEP THE LETTUCE, TOMATOES, and ONIONS FRESH. Fresh vegetables are cheap, and matter more than having higher-quality beef for the price ranges. Otherwise, this is the go-to for fast food around here. Forget McDonalds, abandon Burger King (in case anyone still likes that level of trash). Go to Al's. It's as close as you can get to something like In N Out. For what it is, it's good.
LoneWanderR
Things aren't the same as before. Perhaps its all the prices going up and quality remaining roughly the same. While I cannot say I'm disappointed, I can just say it would be better to just spend your cash on the fries instead of burgers.
Don't get it wrong, the fries are still fairly good compared to anywhere else in the area!
Service is still fast for a made-to-order spot. Expect a lot of people to dine inside again, especially now that it's okay to and not risk getting a freak illness.
The place keeping the same atmosphere since the beginning is one of the few reasons to come back and bring newcomers. Still a good spot to hit, and definently better than 5 Guys or the McDonnalds next door.
joseph mcchesney
My wife ordered chicken strips and they smelled and tasted like old fried fish. French fries were not up to par. I think they need to change their oil more often. When I worked in the restaurant business we had a dedicated fryer for fish only and changed the oil once a week.
D B
Wow what do they do to those potatoes? Really enjoyed them, especially with gravy. Philly cheese steak was pretty good too. Hit dogsonthe small side though. Great service. Look forward to returning.
I.E. Xam
Long time very popular hamburger fries restaurant. Also has many other items on the menu including hot dogs fried chicken Philly cheesesteak etc. My burger was very good but the fries were indeed excellent.
Chloe Riven
Fries with vinegar was awesome. Great customer service. Cheers!!!
Debbie Conger
Als is a vermont staple!!! It’s kinda on the pricey side. Really the fries and the creamies are the best part in my opinion. It’s New Year’s Eve so I can’t blame them for closing early. My son and I were going to have dinner there tonight but they closed early. Normally would have been open til midnight but they closed at 8 so Applebees it was. But at least we got a view of the 8 pm burlington New Year’s Eve fireworks on our way to als😉 happy new year everybody give als a try you will be glad you did😁
Ews
The French fries were good! If you request vinegar fries as mentioned in other reviews.. all they do is give you vinegar packets and you pour it in yourself.. they do get soggy afterwards but fries were still good.. the maple creeme stole the show IMO.. a great dessert
Jackye Young
Pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. The burgers and fries were fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced. I would eat here again.
Mike
I love Al’s. This place is a Burlington (technically South Burlington) landmark that I’ve been eating at for the last decade. The food is super affordable and delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is staffed well enough to keep the lines moving quickly. This is a great place for people and families of all ages. If you’re in Burlington visiting, I highly recommend a trip to Al’s for lunch or dinner.
Athena L
Fun burger joint with tasty food. Good amount of crispy bacon on my juicy bacon cheeseburger. Onion rings were hot a delicious. Black and white with red vinyl booths.
My Hanitizer
A local gem and offers great vibes and decent food. Prices are a plus and the locals are right to celebrate it and so glad we were told about it by the local chocolate place. I feel the food is basic and the buns lack local exciteming flavors but then again this is meant to be part of the old fashioned charm.
WhiteBlurr ST
The food is great like always, i recommend the pizza burgers, philly cheesesteak, peppers steaks, Italian sausages, shakes and of course the french frys. The pricing has gone up alot, 3 of us ate for 60 ish dollars which is very expensive for a burger joint but its burlington so i expect liberal prices.
Gary Tompkins
Delicious fries and burgers. I always stop at Al's. Not far from the South Burlington exit off I-89. Ice cream too!
Veronica Borne
I married into a family who grew up eating here. So everytime we visit, we go get Al's. Gosh I want to love this place. And I've tried. I get the theme and cost of food prices rising. I understand your loyal customer base is okay with changes to keep you around. As a new comer, I would happily pay more for a normal sized burger.
Angel Mercure
Brought my boys to Al's French Fries for dinner, 4 cheeseburger, 4 Medium Sodas and 2 pints of Fries, only cost $22!! The atmosphere is very cool, retro, comfortable! The employees are very friendly, and patient, considering I have 2 very indecisive teenage boys! The prices are great, and the food is fantastic!! Definitely a fav for my family!! If you're in the area, you should absolutely stop at Al's!! 🍟🍔
Stuart Rogers
The fries were excellent. The hamburger was also good but not exceptional. The portion size fits the aesthetic. The bun is just a standard hamburger bun like you could get at any store. I was craving the taste of food from a place called Buds Broiler in LA so I ordered a chili burger. The chili has a good texture but overpowers the taste of the meat. It's a very standalone chili. I'm sure it would be a hearty meal in sufficient proportion with cheese and fries. The only thing I really didn't like was the length of the line and the temperature. I started sweating while waiting and it felt like a bit too much stress for a portion that would be classified by some as a snack. Will I go back? Yes. It's worth it. What single thing can they do to improve? Allow people to place food orders outside.
Bill Blanchard
Burgers are smaller than you think but good flavor. Awesome milkshakes!!
Alex C
First time here, my wife and I got the sausage sandwich and it was amazing! The fries were delicious as well… will definitely be back next time we’re up in the Burlington area!
Tim White
This is not health food! In fact, it's probably not even good for you. That's probably why the food tastes so good. I love the chili dog, and the frys always taste good. It's getting to the end of creemee season, but those are always a delicious end to a meal.
Alexander Jones
Seems to be the drunk decision for food haha. But I don’t blame them. It’s quick. Reasonably priced for what you get. And I tell you what those fries are absolutely fire 🔥
Dean Glines
Still a fabulous must-go spot. Food is very reasonably priced, good quality, unique. Service is friendly and fast. Don't leave without a Maple Creemee.
Dill Pickle
Excellent! A classic Vermont icon that is a must-visit. Frys are off the chart!
Heather Sedgeman
Affordable, quick food from a reliable place with ample parking that's open late. Food isn't anything special but their hours and prices make it worthwhile. Great creemees.
Roger Heitmann
Had chicken sandwich pattie and onion rings and a coke. Food was typical diner food. Nothing special. Not a big fan of chicken patties and greasy onion rings but many are. Very popular place with locals. They seem to do well.
Jim C
couldn't find a place that we All agreed on so we went with Phantom Gourmet's recommendation. Not Bad. we each had a different meal and all were spot on.
Kat Thompson Jerome
Love Al's best burgers and fries around.prices are a little on the high side but still good 👍
Ashley Barkley
I think the menu could be a little more clear especially for first time customers who may not know the system. Ordered the pizza burger and it wasn't at all what I expected.
Ruth Rehn
I've been looking for some good burgers in VT and I finally found something that reminded me of what I might get in WI. Will go again.
Paul Samson
I paid top dollar for McDonald's hamburgers and the steak sandwich, which was a sliver of Bologna they try to pass off as steak I could have went to the dollar store and got a better meal.
Margo Thayer
If you haven't been to Al's can you really say you're a Vermonter??! I don't think so. This place is a real gem. I've been stuffing my face with their incredible goodies for over 30 years. It just doesn't get any better than Al's. Kudos to them for killing it for so long. I'd honestly be lost without this place! 🥰🤤🍔🌭🍟🍦🍨 …
Chris Webb
Great staff. Fantastic burgers and fries.
During summer they have a walk-up ice cream service outside the main restaurant. Their hard ice cream is Blue Bunny, so not impressed. Creemee s are good, not great.
May
The staff was extremely helpful and quick to get our order up. The diner was pleasing to the eyes.
AmberZamora01
ummmm okay…. this place is so random & delicious. I asked the guy at the first register what in the world is their “pizza burger” & he said it’s the season they put & “I used to have it all the time” so I had to try & BOY do not judge this place the way I did.
Thought it was going to be too greasy.. but it was perfect! Will go back & get the pizza burger again! 👌🏽🙃
Jeffrey R
Great onion rings if you don't enjoy the great fries. Cheeseburger with onions and a corn dog is pretty magically filling.
Joe Wilkins
This long established burger joint is far and away the best. Was here 25 years ago and back again this week.french fries are the best, real handmade not processed. Burgers 🍔 are great . …
Stihlfan 311
What would be a trip to Burlington if you don't stop at Al's! To feed myself my girlfriend and kiddo $40. prices are a bit high but a large frie and a regular cheese burger with a drink was way more food than I could handle and still have left over fries which are in my opinion way better than 5 guys fries
Eric Sartwell
Good fries and I had a bacon dubble cheese burger with lettus onion and tomato
Sabrina Lichon Bennett
Classic old school fast food place with delicious burgers! Highly recommend trying this place if you are in the Burlington area as it won't disappoint. Burgers are on the smaller side - more like a smash burger - so would recommend getting a double. Only downside is it's a little pricey for fast food if comparing to McDonalds or Burger King. For $20 got single burger, double burger, pint of fries, and 2 small shakes.
Eddie Morgan
One of b towns best . Great people great food . Awsome prices . Best atmosphere
Sophie Weinert
Amazing creemee's as usual! Been going to Al's for icecream over many summers and they never disappoint 😁 Great service and delicious food! …
William Cloutier
Another long time Eatery in Chittenden County Al's French Frys. I went with Michigan hot dog pint of frys and a lemonade. It was as I remember excellent. As I went through and was asked what I wanted on the Michigan, it was a long time employee/partner remembered my name and said hello and chatted all while working hard
Joshua D. Lambert
I wanted to grab something quick on our way home from Burlington, and Al's popped up on Google Maps. This place is adorable and the food is great! The "frys" are fantastic!!! I also bought one of their baseball-style shirts and it's incredibly soft! And...Elijah Wood has been there :)
John Vera
Very good food and service.
And for those afraid of covid they do a nice job making things work.
Jovan Ramirez
Can't beat a diner. Most of the food is fantastic but the burgers is where they shine. I could eat a double cheese burger from there everyday, but my stomach couldn't handle that so I'll eat there whenever I can. Staff is nice and the place is always clean.
Update: years later and I just ate it for lunch today and I I still love it same as first day!
Huguens Alexis
Good place for a quick bite to eat. Inexpensive, service in relatively fast and they serve classic American diner food.
Jill Duperry
The food is very good! Burgers are a bit on the small side but that's a good thing because us, as American's, tend to overdo it on our portion sizes anyway! Lol The prices are pretty fair too. My friend ordered the fried chicken which was really crunchy, the way fried chicken should be!!
James McKee
Always a great place to get some delicious food.
tiffany shattuck
We love Al's!! We visit many times every year. Drive all the way from Florida.
Ian Mclean
Always great place to eat. Only problem I ordered to much food
fwjy
visited here in September 2020 on vacation in smugglers notch, very good burgers and a nice vibe to the place, the ice cream was so good as well. i plan on visiting here again in the future
Brittney Moyer
The staff is short and stuffy and not very personable. I love it here and always have but, the place needs a good deep clean with heavy degreaser.
Sean Steel (budershank)
I was expecting a buy more when it came to the fries. They were fine but that is it. I've had better fries at chain restaurants. Nothing notable about them. The burger i had was meh. Better than some typical fast food but don't see what the big deal is.
Josie Paz
My son always went there while at UVM University. He loved it. Now I know why. Yum!
James Bruce
If you are in the Burlington area. You have to stop in at Al's French Fries!! They have fresh hand-cut fries that will make you a follower. Burgers are fantastic!! I recommend the double cheese burger. Trust me, it's not a big as you might think. But ahhh, it's so delicious!!
Peter Hamlin
What can you say? Perfect fries and onion rings. Great burgers and hot dogs. Nice people who work hard to be sure your order is just right.
Al's French Frys. is a beloved local institution for a reason!
Ian Pringle
Amazing fries, good burgers, a wide variety of ice cream flavors sold on the side.
Jack Thibault
Double bacon cheese burger, quart of fries, and a chili dog. All excellent
Carrie Oliver
Clean. Kids like the playground and the menu is diverse enough to satisfy every member of the family weither we have our 5 at home or the rest of my kids and their families join us. Very decent value as well. Don't forget to stop for ice cream after the meal too! Mmmmmm
Adam Stowie
Pretty much what you'd expect, a decent 40's style burger place. It seems to be a popular local landmark where groups come and go, but the staff are fast so the line thins quickly.
Anthony Cavalone
Food was incredible, quick service and friendly people.
Sabrina B
You go up and order then seat yourself. They have shakes. Vinegar for the hand cut fries.
Jennifer destasio
Alice fries is an awesome place to go for a quick bite to eat. They have a very cool set up when you dine in they play very good oldies music. Fast service reasonable prices, Overall pretty clean establishment, Bathrooms could be a little cleaner. I would go back and eat there again they have a cool ice cream set up on the outside of the building have not tried yet but looks pretty good next time I will try it.
Talon Swanson
Avoid the chicken items on the menu as they are really pretty sad. Think pureed chicken patties and you'll get the idea. The orange and raspberry creamees, on the other hand, were amazing!
Adam Charboneau
Easily some of the best burgers and fries in the area. All custom made with tons of different options. The prices can not be beat. You will spend less money here than you will at McDonald's for less food that isn't half as good as Al's. Playground in the back with outside dining for the families with kids, and and ice cream shop on the side that is excellent! Always go here about once every week or 2 and never once had a bad meal in all the years we have been.
Kimberlee Curtis Parker
BEST PIZZA BURGER & FRENCH FRIES EAST OF THE ROCKIES..!!
OH HECK..!!.. I'D SAY WEST OF THE ROCKIES TOO..!! 🍔🍟 HeeHee. YumYum …
Shannon Burd
Very good burgers and fries. The burgers are thin but yummy!
Michael S
The French Fries were excellent! I would be 400lbs if I lived near this place! The hot dogs were great too! Everything was reasonably priced and everything was fresh and cooked to order. We will definitely go back to Al’s when we are in the Burlington area again!
Valac The Demon (Alex)
Al's a staple in Vermont. Back in the day it was a go to. Fries are still good burgers are good but on the thin side. Of course this is the Al's experience. But the price is high for what your getting. This would be 4 stars if it was not as expensive.
Sheryl King
Every visit to Vermont requires a lunch stop at Al's. Ww need you in Florida !!
German Boy
My wife and I both grew up in the sixties eating at this place. The french fries are the big draw. Food is good and the service is fast and the premises are kept clean.
CHARLES D'ANGELO
The very best place for French fries. Every time I am in Burlington Vermont, I have to stop there.
John Thibault
So I was wondering how things are going to be without coffee cups hamburger buns but was surprised they are now made by Friendly's and are even better!! Al's is an experience for any age, and the 60's burger joint is something that stays in your mind and the taste of real burgers cooked right in front of you, holds it all together and makes you want to return again and again!!! Great job guys, and gals of Al's French Fries!!
J UrsaNova
Very good food but the portion sizes weren't indicated on the website. Fast service, nearby some hotels and inns, and outdoor pick-up is available. Pretty inexpensive and delicious!
Joshua
It will tear up your gut with the grease but great food and speedy service.
Robert Kline
This place is a cool little experience it's kind of got a throwback feel to it you feel like you're walking into a restaurant in the 50s or 60s the food is pretty good honestly it's pretty much what you'd expect from a place like it. Prices were actually really good. This is a great restaurant to check out if you're in the Burlington area.
MzRoni Ron
Old school meal like the old bop hop days. Quick and reasonable prices.
Morgan Ferreira
Al's French Fries is the place ya go for a good burger or fries. Its a great place to take your friends and family. It handles crowds very well and I always have a good experience. Skip the fast food joints Al's is a good time and tastes waaaaay better for a similar price. I recommend the pizza burger but check it out for yourself!
Ted Ansley
Excellent local burger, chicken, fries, and Ice cream place. Have eaten here several times, but has been several years. Still very good!
Jade Shea
It's a very retro kind of place. It really reminds me of watching shows that are from the 50's and the kind of places you see them eat at.
Jean Thiessen
Fun Burlington, VT staple. Food is ok, decor is cute, souvenir shirts arefun.
Sanjib Kalita
Really enjoyed this place the first time and came back for a second meal during our vacation!
Peter Chikov
Regular fast food place. Hot dogs and shakes are good. Fries are disappointing.
Matthew Hanagan
Step back in time and enjoy the fries and burgers. So good.
Desiree Vo
Brought my little sister to Al's for some ice cream because its 85 degrees today. I've always loved the ice cream here but clearly not as much as my sister. I got a Vanilla creemee with rainbow sprinkles & she got 2 scoops of strawberry icecream. She took a bite and decided that she just needed to dive in face first. Priced well & great service.
Jen
I have been going to Al's forever went with my dad when we had visitation. Loved it back then it was so layed back and my dad knew the owner so we always got deals lol and I got to see cool things, I like how it was much less busy but I also like how they have grown. It's good for business and for Vermont they are very well known and people from far away come to Al's so that's kinda cool.
Rick Marrier
Always our first stop whenever we visit Vermont.
Kimi R.
Good fries and overpriced burger (almost the size of a slider). Cremees are good but not all flavors listed are available 😟
Have been to the restaurant a few times and there’s always someone complaining about something a cashier did or didn’t do… …
Marylee Woods
Food was good dont get me wrong but with all the hype I expected more. The french fries were good but a bit greasy and could gave cooked longer the chicken strips are frozen strips fried the burgers are good but also frozen and cooked there. I think it's more the ambiance like an old roller skate delivery diner its nostalgia more than anything that's the draw to Al's. The milkshake was amazing but expensive everything was a bit overpriced for what you got to be honest. It was extremely crowded though so a local favorite and open late so that is a win for travelers for sure. The girl taking orders was less than friendly. Food comes out quickly though. All in all not bad if you want to say you've been to Al's but not somewhere you bring a bunch of folks for a sit down dinner that will give you your money's worth.
Dylan
Decent burgers, hotdogs, and fries. Small portions when compared to modern American portion sizes, so take that into account when ordering. Fast service, cool decor, and some outdoor seating for those nice fall days.
Christopher Dwyer
My full respect goes to the workers and owners of this restaurant; I enjoyed my time here. I only gave three stars because I found the burgers to be small and fairly underwhelming; the salad was rather disappointing as well. The fries were great though, and frankly, if you order the fries, you'll love them!
Karen Pearce
Great place to wait until time to go to the airport if you have small children. We got ice cream and our son played on the playground.
Mike Switzer
It is always busy there. He line went fast and the food was very good. I wish that it is closer to northwest Vermont,
Stephen Jablonski
Al's is a local staple for a reason. Their service and food is consistently excellent. We go pretty regularly and whether it's a slow day or a busy lunch rush we always receive the same quality. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get, and it is way better than any of the fast food chains nearby. I get chili dogs, fries, and mozzarella sticks every time and am never disappointed. Great spot for a quick bite to eat.
Prezken
Way overpriced for what you get. Burgers are decent, but super small for the price. The fries were very good which is why I give it three stars. Haven't tried the hotdogs so I can't comment on those, but they did look good if a bit pricey themselves.
This must just be one of those local favorites that people love because it's been there forever. Five Guys is a couple dollars more, so but easily twice the food.
Charlie B
Pretty good! Hotdog was great, burger was ok, chili fries good
craigmack2018
Very good indeed! I wish they had a location in Manchester!
david buran
Great double cheeseburgers and fries. Very nice and friendly service. The place was pretty busy, so I and my friend wore masks. I hadn't been there for a few years. I forgot how good it is.

Love else. It is just a hamburger french fry joint just as it advertises. But the food is mostly good very edible. And I love the ambience. I will be going back every chance I get.
Alan Dibler
Food is good but burgers are a little thin for the price
Michael Ian Sugrue
As a burger and fries connoisseur I wanted to make my last meal before going 100% back to my Keto lifestyle memorable. There's a reasion it's called "Al's French Fries". The burgers are pretty forgettable, not really much better than McDonald's. But the fries...they are out of this world hand cut perfection...even better than Five Guys! Prices are reasonable and service is pleasant. All in all this is a SOLID local establishment you will not regret visiting!
Kimberly McGowan
Decent meal for fast food! The maple ice cream was the real winner.
Tami Murrell
Had never been there, sister lives in upstate NY. Great lunch place before dropping me off at airport.
John Scott
Super crowded and for good reason. The burgers were a good size but not gut busters. Perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. The onion rings are dynamite and the fries need nothing for dipping because they are fine as is. Save room for a shake or creemee. Didn't have a creemee but saw a few that looked like they were top notch. Ordered 2 shakes - peanut butter fudge and maple walnut. Oh my. They use real ice cream and milk obviously. One of the best shakes I've ever had. Near perfection. Bravo to Al's for another home run.
Michael RC
Not bad, pretty good bang for your buck. Its actually cheaper than McDonalds, but you do get what you pay for.
samuel Olds
I like this place and the food is great! The ice cream is amazing. I think they could be more clear about the size of portions and what add-ons are free and which cost extra. I was disappointed I could not order ahead and pay in cash upon arrival, I'm not sure if this was only temporary or not. Just a few constructive criticisms
Craig Babcock
Food is always great and service is fast. Always a good place to get a classic burger, fries, and shake.
Fouad S.
Good diner and quick service. Prices are good. Perfect place for a burger, fries and shake!
Kevin Fryer
Just ate here for the first time today. Fries were outstanding and they give you alot. The burger was even better
Amanda Rinalducci
That's a guy named Al excited for the joint. It did not disappoint! Old School vibes, super affordable and absolutely Yummy!!
Brendan Trapani
Al's is the best around for the price, and it is a classic spot. The best thing to get is definitely a double cheeseburger with the works, corndog, and a Large fry. There isnt a better corndog in the state. You have to eat it there in a booth.
E V
Cool place. Super busy. Decent hot dogs and fries
Charles
Look here, there are a few things if you know me you know about me. One of them is I love a good French fry and consider myself a fry connisour. Gotta say, Al's has figured it out down to a science. You come in, place your order and cam get your fires in a pint, quart or a gallon size and they also have another treats, savory and sweet, like burgers.
Well, I think I've said enough, if you're not running out to get yourself some frys then you must be potato-phobia!
Mark Aldrich
I've been going to Al's french fries since it was at the Essex Fair, I love this place and if you're in Burlington you have to stop. Order yourself a double cheeseburger with the works and a small, medium, or large french fry. Throw some vinegar on them and just enjoy yourself. Make sure you bring your family or whoever you're traveling with. This is a must go to. Al's puts all the other burger joints to shame and they pale in comparison. I might just go there right now. It's so worth the drive.
Nick Loy
Very popular but our frys were not crisp. They are friendly
Monica McGrath-Koerner
Good old fashion burger place! Quick service and good fries
Brian Lloyd-Newberry
Al's is a classic and good for what it is: fries and cheap grill food. If you are hungry order more than one burger. You'll note that bacon is cheaper than lettuce and tomato on the add ins. They also have a ice cream window that is open late during the summer months.
Susan Jackson
Cute place near the airport. The fries are the best!
Chris Martin
Good burger small patty though so I got the double Fry's were good. Only reason not 5 is because of how the line is set up. Though I sure it was for covid. Just felt more crowded that way. Over all I would eat there again
John Spaulding
I have been dropping by Al's French Fries since 1967, before they expanded to the new facility. I'm sorry to say that it seems to have gone downhill a bit in the last 2 years. This may be due to the COVID pandemic, and the changes that were necessitated by that, but it's just not the same experience.
For those of you who are not familiar with Als, they have a different way of ordering. When you come in, you stand in line until you get to a cashier, and order and pay for your food. There is no menu available, and if there was, you would still feel rushed by the cashier and the people behind you. so you want to be prepared ahead of time with your order. Then you continue to wait in line as it moves past the prep area, where you can specify the condiments you want on your burgers/hot dogs/sandwiches. With the current crowd of diners, that can take up to 10 minutes. There's no way to skip this process.
The menu is still good, the prices are OK (not great, like they used to be). They specialize in fries (obviously) and used to keep a supply of vinegar cruets around, making this one of the few places around you can have fries that way. Not any more. No cruets, and when I asked where they were, I got a surly response, and was handed a couple of little packs of vinegar. OK, this is probably a COVID requirement, but they didn't even post the fact that I needed to ask. And there is no excuse for the surliness.
We ate our meal inside, and left feeling like one more special place had disappeared, even if the sign was still up.
I gave Al's a 4 because I hope that next spring, when I return, it may have returned to some of it's former self.
Pathin Blushweaver
Al's is a legendary location in South Burlington. Very few diners will have such an authentic feel to them. The ice cream in the summer is a grateful touch and the location is great even if parking can be tricky at times due to simple lack of capacity. The food is always good, solid but not fancy. The fries though are some of the best I've ever had. Hand cut and made to order.
Sam Marshall
Al's is a Burlington staple. When you are hungry there's nothing quite like it. This is a burger joint that is under appreciated for it's hot dogs!
My minor qualms are that it requires a lot of mental energy to choose every ingredient on your food. However, this allows you to customize to your heart's desire and if you know what you want it's perfect. I also feel like it is a bit pricey but really it's not.
Finally, a few tips in the food. The grilled cheese is a cheese burger without the meat. Make sure to try the corndog with 'the works' and decide in advance whether you are going fir soft-serve or a milkshake. Both is a bit much!
White Angel
Cashier was a middle aged overweight man whom was suprisingly rude and snappy, been here with family multiple times and never dealt with anyone so snappy with us, rushed us through ordering and gave us a constant dirty look, if eating here and see this man at the order window, I would recommend leaving before your experience is ruined by his attitude. Other then that, good food that reminds me of home, amazing french fries, burgers and wings, without that employee, perfect family restaurant
Zachary Delisle
Great fries and the best place to grab a chili dog in VT.
Richard Dupuis
Loved it. A real 50's diner vibe and the food was great.
Bryan Melzard
From the "nothing fancy but awfully tasty and a genuinely good food spot" bucket, comes Al's French Fry's.
It's a great throwback taste where they don't make 800 items but the items they focus on (burgers, steak sandwiches, hot dogs and yes, fries) are very solid. The burgers are a little bigger of the slider variety but carry a solid taste with them. The steak sandwich was shaved beef with the cheese beautifully interspersed within along with onions and peppers.
All in all, a solid meal but as noted...nothing fancy.
Kevin Dufresne
Best food diner style of the days of diners. Al's classic.
Troy King
It was good, the fries were all little pieces which let me down a little bit. The philly chicken sandwich was great though so it made up for it. Nice people, prompt service and I’ll come back if I’m in the area
Nicholas Sheeley-Norris
Delicious, simple food. Old school diner feel inside. You order a basic burger and add toppings for a small additional cost. I had a cheeseburger and an out of this world delicious chili dog. My wife had a delicious corndog. The fries, as advertised, are incredibly delicious. Line moved quickly and our food was out in 5 minutes or less. Would recommend to anyone looking for cheap, filling eats.
Nathan Macie
What can I say... Excellent food (*highly recommend the double bacon cheeseburger) and not once have they messed up our order!! (Which is huge in today's world). A friendly staff tops it all off and you get to watch them make your food while you wait in line. Highly recommend if your in the mood for some burgers and fries with a milkshake 😁
Elizabeth Rhea
I love Al's!! I grew up going to Al's with my family and Friends! This place has provided me with many good memories. I recently moved to DC and wish I could have taken Al's with me! Every time I'm back home I go! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! You can't go wrong with the food here. The staff is friendly as well. I recommend it to everyone who I meet that has never been!!
Naomi Drake
Excellent sausage with peppers and onions and the onion rings where nice and fresh , wish their was a sauce for onion rings but just as good with out ...quick and delicious and filling....
James McCormick
Low price point. Fast food but you get to watch them prep everything compared to traditional fast food where it all is done behind a wall. Same staff year after year which makes me think they treat their employees well enough to stay. Great alternative to McDonalds!
Bryanna Requarth
I am a huge fry fan so I was so excited to find this place. We went through the line very quickly and there was plenty of seating. The fries were HUGE! The cheese sauce is your standard cheese sauce but very tasty. My boyfriend ordered a hamburger and said that it is your typical at home hamburger; not amazing but not the worst. I had the fried chicken. It was very dry and over cooked. All in all because I'm obsessed with fries I would come again but only to order those.
Juliet “Jay Dubs” Whiskey
Neat "dive" atmosphere. Price does not equal quality.
greg bush
Food was good. Period style food with large quantities.
Stephen Radel
Not the best burger in town, and maybe not the very best fries, but I just love the vintage burger joint / diner kind of vibe. I also like that it's a place that's still in the family, and hasn't succumbed to the homogenized restaurant trend so common in some areas of the country. I've only eaten here twice, burger, fries and coke. I'm sure some of the other menu selections would be just as good.
Thomas Barr
They were busy no the less the fries were cold.Being a short order cook for 15 years I could tell you there fries are too small they should be 1/2" to be the best between crisp and tasty. Burger was just what I expected though.
Red - Clover
If you re expecting greasy fan fare food. Look no further! The fries are outstanding. The burgers are excellent. The staff are great... Ive never been dissapointed except for the outdoor area. A solid 4.6. If you re going with kids who want to run around. You wont have a lot of space to do so.
Salena Claire
This restaurant is my favorite place to get a quick, delicious bite to eat. Their fries are top notch and fried to perfection and have a decent menu so there is something for everyone. Sometimes lines can get long, but its worth the wait and I don't mind it at all. 15/10 would always stop in when I get a chance.
Marina VanderWindt
Lovely vintage burger joint! Delicious and surprisingly fast service for how incredibly busy it was. Will definitely be back!
Hemant T
This is your quintessential 1940-50's American Diner. The burgers are the size of what are now sliders, which is how burgers originally used to be back in the day.
The food was typical Diner food, they had a few other choices like tuna and cheese steak. Overall, food was okay. Pretty cheaply priced. We paid under 50 for 8 burgers and a bunch of fries and drinks. Fries were okay.
Service was fine. They seemed friendly.
So, if you want a quick food, well priced, with circa 1950's America atmosphere, this is the place to go.
Side note: there are old American diners across the country with that great throwback feel and frankly, way better tasting burgers and fries. This doesn't even qualify in terms of taste. This is the average of all.
Tom Brooks
Best of the best. Close enough to the airport to get a quick bite with speedy service. Even with a full line your in and out. Fries that rival worlds best sold year round. Buy a quart, and your set. Burgers aren't too be overlooked with the amazing customizing options. Never leave hungry.
Noah Dion
One of my favorite places to eat, year round. The food is always consistent, the service is great, they opened in the late 40s and things have changed but at the same time stayed the same. Much better option for "fast food" much higher quality. Its like a mainstay in the Burlington area. You haven't lived until you've tried it at least once. Highly recommended
Cash “Radar” Money
My friend brought me here for a late lunch and we really enjoyed our food. We where able to sit outside and have our lunch together and we had a great conversation while we were eating and the food was excellent and I really appreciate the service that we received and I would recommend Al's French Fries to everyone who loves fast food at a reasonable price. Thanks everyone who was working on that day.
Caiden Dike
Love Al's as a child and now as an adult good food for reasonable price. We eat here 2x a month with our kids. Couldn't think of a better place to go!!! Xoxox Al's
Robin Dern
Not that I’d ever had maple ice cream, but it is hard to imagine there is any other place that could top theirs. This place was a great find during our fall trip to Burlington. We braved a torrential downpour and many puddles to stand in line for ice cream and it was beyond worth it. We also we able to enjoy dinner there and it was delicious. Great atmosphere, so much fun to read their history and learn about how they support the community. The staff was fantastic!
shane nadeau
All the food was amazing old diner style the price was low for quality food. We pigged out on 20 bucks and the milkshakes made with real ice cream. 6 stars
Mariella W
Al's is a classic, like the ice cream part the most. Plus for outdoor indoor seating. Innovative solution.
Joe Eclypse
First and foremost, the food was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, the very physically large male cashier was extremely disrespectful and very inattentive! He behaved in a highly inappropriate manner towards female customers, especially my 14 year old daughter. I caught him not just staring but eyeballing her up and down several times in a very lustful manner! I tried to address the issue but he just rolled his eyes and continued to act this way, forcing me to place my daughter in between myself and my son to cover her. This individual should not be employed anywhere that there is young women, period. He is easily identifiable by his large presence.
Katy Seagroves
Absolutley love taking my family of 6 here for lunch or dinner. The staff is amazing with understanding my young children when they are ordering and they are very patient with us. The food is amazing and prices are affordable. The staff is always respectful and overly willing to personalize any order.
Sam Smith
I used to go to Vermont every summer cause my family lived in South Burlington. And we would always go here. This is where I was first introduced to French fries with vinegar and feel in love with. Their food is always good and so is their ice cream. I haven't been there in a while but I always make an effort to stop there when i do.
Pamela Hamblin
Best French fries around! The food is delicious and better than any other fast food restaurant! Yummy ice cream stand and a nice play ground for the kids to play on! A nice area outside for people to eat at on nice days and to watch their kids play! Friendly staff! A great place for families to eat!
Chuck Arneson
Fun place to get a quick dinner and ice cream. NOT a health food store but OK once in a while.
Peggy Boyer
If you like the 50's atmosphere this is the place to go. Al's has been around for a long time. They are famous for their hand cut fries.
T L
Burgers were solid and reasonably priced. It was somewhat limited on condiments (no hot sauce) but otherwise was a solid experience. Also have great corn dogs, which can be hard to find. Good local joint with some local flair, worth checking out.
Maranda Nielson
Al's is the best. Great burgers and fries. They also have delicious ice cream!
Walter Graham
Than ks to a Google Map suggestion we stopped here. First time in the local landmark. Cashier was very good about explaining the background of the place and how many years (decades) each employee had been there. Of course I ordered the burger and fries. Both were delish and the burger was just the right size - a bit bigger than a slider and smaller than a quarter pounder. Excellent taste. Worth the stop!
Anton N
What a quaint little place!!! The diner has the vibe of a 50s diner in the 70s! The food is fantastic as well, full of typical American fare like burgers, fries, seafood, cheese steaks and more. I highly recommend the fried clams and you can never go wrong ordering the burgers. Prices are also very cheap with a giant meal costing around ten bucks. Surely not a place to miss in the Burlington area!!
seandawg54
Delicious burgers kinda slow but if you beat the rush totally worth it
rodney bledsoe
we order a quart of fries every we visit. the burgers are just about right not super big but enough to fill you when eating those great hand-cut fries. we do enjoy the decor and the throw-back music. i think the chicken strip, and minute steak were very good. we go here at least twice a month, kids request since they love the vinegar on those fries.
Michael Servidio
The taste and service is awesome. This place is not for the health conscious individual. It's deep fried and grilled all the way. Portion size on burgers is small but big on flavor. Fries and onion rings are a house favorite.
E J
Fries are ok. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. So much for washing your hands before you eat in this COVID-19 infected world.
Eric Knowlton
I've been here a handful of times and it always seems like it's busy. It definitely has that old school fast food kind of feel without having that bland chain restaurant decor. The food is definitely proceed well and having the ice cream outside really helps to spread out the crowds.
Sabrina Milano
Fries are good! Was not happy that the stand and restaurant don't serve the same flavor shakes. My first time there and was eager to taste the maple shake. I didn't have cash and minimum $5 on card. Fries are only made inside, but maple shake only outside. Tried the fries, but no shake. Was very disappointed especially when both places share the kitchen.
Steve Sims
Oh, man do I love this place. Nothing fancy. Not really cheap. Not really *that* good. But there's something about the atmosphere that keeps me coming back again and again.
The frys are fantastic; they certainly do live up to expectations. The burgers are so-so. They've got chicken fingers and chili dogs and all that usual stuff, but nothing in that vein is anything approaching terrific.
But, still, I'm throwing the 5-star rating because there's a certain ambiance, a certain charm that makes Al's like no other place I know.
phatstax2011
Al's French Frys is so very much more than just Vermont's premiere fast food restaurant, it's a historic, institution! Al's has a very happy, courteous, and pleasant staff, so unlike most other fast food joints. They must also be a great place to work because I have seen so many of the same faces behind the counter, forever, which is completely unheard of in the fast food biz. Al's also has the most efficient food ordering set up of any restaurant of its kind. Two register lines to order, and you watch your food being cooked as you wait and then they'll ask you what condiments you want just before they wrap it up and serve it to you. They also will expedite your wait if you are only ordering their famous and super delicious "French Frys", which are the best that I've ever had, anywhere.
Paul Rivait
A local favorite for decades. They serve the best burgers and are world famous for their fries. A great place to bring the kids as they have a nice playground in the back. Don't forget to get a creamy while you're there.
Kristin Darby
Al's is a local icon for Vermonters! Amazing fries and grilled food makes for a great fast-food lunch or dinner! Many of the staff have been around a long time, making it feel familiar and friendly. Great food at good prices! And bonus points for offering non-dairy creemees!
Anthony Commo
Do you like french fries and cheese burgers? Of course you do. You wouldn't be reading this otherwise. Al's is a Burlington area institution that's been in business since... Well I don't actually know but I think we were still at war with nazism at the time. The food is great, and it's made to order as you stand in line. It's super affordable and on average seems to cost less than national fast food chains like the McDonald's next door. Try it, you won't be disappointed... Unless you don't like french fries and cheese burgers.
Richard Ramsey
as an out of towner, it was recommended i try Al's. I am so glad i did. fun, tasty food at very reasonable prices. it will be a staple each time i come back.
Kiki Reno
Al's has the best french fries I have ever tasted! My husband and I love to stop here to eat. My best friend is obsessed with Al's and we always go when she comes up to visit! They have delicious food at low prices. I recommend Al's to anyone stopping to eat in South Burlington!
Free
Really good. The sandwich options were classic Americana. Burgers, hot dogs, cheese steaks cooked well with top notch condiments (they even have the bright green deli relish I haven't seen in Vermont yet). The fries are fresh cut whole potatoes.I wish the fries were saltier and more crispy but I know fries die fast. The fry toppings were on point. The cheese is melty and good but the star for me was the gravy. The Gravy (Ima capitalize it) tasted like Thanksgiving. It tasted the way you wish the gravy had tasted everytime you got gravy and regretted it. The Gravy reminded me so much of turkey I went and took a nap afterwards. Al's is worth the trip.
Michael Cook
You can't go wrong at Al's. The burgers are great, fries are out of it this world, and the shakes are amazing. It gets very busy during lunch and dinner but the two lines keep things moving quickly. Amazing food at very affordable prices.
Mel Allen
Al's French Frys is a classic burger joint. I've been going since I was pretty young and my kids have been going here since my oldest was in single digits. Great French 'frys' here, the burgers are small but good, the ice cream and desserts (mainly in the summer as it's the Northeast) are great. Definitely worth stopping in!
Alex D
Always great service, excellent atmosphere, clean, fast, and cheap. Fries are great, burgers are small but delicious, but a lot of other fare is just frozen sysco-type fryer food. All in, a great, cheap family friendly joint that beats the pants off the national chains all around it.
curt esposito
One of my all time favorites. Have been coming to Al's for many years and am happy to be able to bring my son now and have it become one of his favorite places. Still can't get better fries anywhere.
rodrigef
Friendly staff; this is the reason I return. Food taste great. My opinion, the burgers are small in size for what you pay for. No refills on drinks. Fries are great.
Molly Atkins
Great food, but prices went waay up! Almost need a loan..a milkshake and small serving of soft serve with hot fudge was just shy of 12.00??!!! think I have to look elsewhere or not go as much.
Peter Navarro
This is a childhood favorite of mine from the 70's. I absolutely love the gravy fries. First time back in 16 years. And the first place I visited off the plane.
Sasha Eagle
Great food for the price. Staff is 50/50 in niceness but the food outweighs that. Always super busy if that tells you anything, just make sure if you want any form of condiment to ask a few times because they are busy and have a tendency to forget sometimes but again not a big issue
Katie Bollman
Amazing Food, Service $ Prices!! Our go to spot🤩🍔🍟🌭🍦 …
Stephanie Hoffman
This place is a staple. Al's has a diner/throwback feel with prices to match making it a great family bargain. The fries are great. A good place to stop for a bite if you are in a hurry, but still want to sit down after ordering at the counter. There is a little bit of a Seinfeld "soup Nazi" feel to the way ordering runs, but folks are friendly and accommodating.
Sidious1966
Al's had friendly service and the food was excellent. They are providing a safe place to collect the food ordered. My order was complete when I got it home, there was nothing missing. I have had issues at other restaurants with not completing the order I placed. Al's is good food at a fair price.
j
Best fries I've ever had. Chicken strips are good too. Highly recommend popping in here when you're nearby.
seahorse1986kj
Although the burgers seen to get smaller the tradition of Al's is what we go for. It is my oldest son's "go to" restaurant whenever I visit. Al's is a memory waiting to be made. If you are visiting Burlington, it is an easy so from the airport. The maple shake was amazing!!
Donna Burdick
Whenever I come to Burlington my son brings me here. I love this place. 💞🍔 …
Steve Koenemann
Never been a big fan of their food. We stopped by for some soft serve ice cream recently. It was very good and the portions were very large.
Paul
Location and setting is interesting, with a throw back diner style- I actually thought it was a diner at first! Served inside are hamburgers and dogs. I had a cheeseburger with toppings of choice, and tried the onion rings. Burger was ok, decent for the price point. Onion rings seemed like the cheap frozen kind you buy at the grocery store. Overall, not great, but decent for the price.
theta sniper81
This local spot does the burger thing a bit differently. You order up front and then wait for them make it in line and tell them what toppings you want. The prices are great but portions are small amd the pricing/ordering system takes some getting used to, but this is a great place to handle that burger craving.
Pugs (Daniel Seung) Pugliese
In terms of 50s-style kitschy day good restaurants, there is no comparison... The food is great; the fries are are unbelievable; the corn dogs, phenomenal! Add shakes and ice cream, and you have an awesome 50s experience.
Heather Furtado
As an employee one might assume im 'partial'. This isnt entirely wrong.. However, the reason I took the job IS due to the overall atmosphere of this establishment. It is an institution. It is a piece of history. It is hands down the place to come to have a meal be it alone or with family and friends. You WILL be treated like family here (the kind of family we all in one way or another wish we had!!)
Chris Eaton
Awesome place to eat and good prices !
Joseph Kennedy
So freaking awesome. A true original burger joint experience. Fresh quality burgers, fries and shakes. Made to order as you watch. Dogs and fish sandwiches, cheese and chili, and an old school ice cream shop too!
Roger
Got two chili dogs with cup of fries. Hot dogs are good but the chili sauce and toasted bun is what makes it. And you get plenty of fries with a small order. Was traveling when stopped in and would go back again if in area. Plenty of parking space as well.
mark barnier
It was okay not the Al's french fries of old but it does have the same familiarity the Fry's were a little undercooked and the ends were a little hard but for a quick snack while out on a car ride it was great
Hammad Sikander
We had hamburger , cheeseburger and chicken philly . I suggest to order two burgers as the portion size is small - overall a good experience . We went there as all the other places were closed Sunday night .
Lydia Foisy
Al's is always a go to. Clean, great fries, reasonably priced. Everyone who has been there, remembers and comes back if they've left town.
Jennifer Camley
Prices are GREAT! I feel like I am going back in time every time I walk into this place. Burgers are on the small sizes so order a couple or a double. The burgers are a little bigger than a slidder.
Get in line get your food and seat yourself.
Ryan Morrissey
It’s a staple in Vermont, but really nothing more. They only recently started accepting cards. The portions of the food are really small, the burgers are incredibly tiny. The fries however are excellent. On top of everything, the owners are extremely cheap. 25 cents for a water cup? No refills on drinks? No thanks.
David Cross
Best fries around, came all the way from iowa to have them
Erik Dansereau
Visited Al's for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing fancy, at all but it's all in the execution. The retro theme was great, service was pretty streamlined and while it was quite busy I was enjoying my food in just a few a minutes. As for the menu, like I said nothing unexpected or fancy it is all just done remarkably well.
Samantha B
Al's is the best part of Vermont. The restaurant is clean, the food is AMAZING, the shakes are unparalleled, and there's a playground outside! Ideal place for low key date night or dinner out with the family. I actually came here with 10 friends before prom (10 years ago!) And the corner booths fit all of us!
Carolyn Pereira
Big cones and yummy ice cream. "Small" = 2 large scoops. But the vanilla creemee was really delicious. Prices were fair but not awesome. I still like Olson's in Vergennes and The Scoop (South Burlington) better but I'd definitely go here again. I'd love to bring the kids back to sit at the picnic tables and let them play on the playground when it reopens. Great place close to the airport to kill time if you are early for a flight.
Matt Sherlund
Great food for super cheap!
Kurt Howard
Great local place in Burlington for burgers, hotdogs and fries. Simple menu but some great choices with affordable prices. Restaurant is always packed but line moves quick and plenty of seating inside. Excellent chili cheese dogs with fries is a can’t miss.
Ted Moore
Completely accidental find. Simply the best french fries in America hands down, no contest. And the burgers are tiny, so don't be fooled by the small prices. Order a bunch, and save your money in some other way.
Craig Colburn
A convenient place for the whole family including the dog (for feeding in the car)! Not the value it once was, but great nostalgia. Their employees seem to be happy and most stay on, so if increased prices are an investment in their people, we can live with that.
Regina Shoen
This is one of those iconic restaurants that you just HAVE to stop into and try one of everything! The burgers, the fries, literally try it all! I've been coming here since I was a kid, every time I'm in Burlington and I have brought my own son, and all my nieces and nephews, friends and family that haven't been. It's the BEST burger joint in the area :) Just go already!!
Zach Vickery
If you like fresh cut fries and classic fast-food burgers then check out Al's French Frys. You order at a kiosk in front of the pickup window and then you get to enjoy the delicious food. Cheeseburgers are appropriately sized, the chicken sandwich isn't dry or bland, and fries come in three sizes- cup, pint, or quart. Just be aware that lines can be long during lunchtime and there isn't a drive-thru window.
Joaquin Pabon
Nice fast food and yes "Fast food". I got fried chicken and french fries. Good prices and variety. The restaurant was clean and the service good and fast.
george Hoffman
Awesome little retro burger joint with ice cream excellent food great prices and friendly atmosphere

Delicious food. Note that some of their food comes in smaller portions than normal, burgers for instance. It's best to double the number of burgers you want. Not quite sliders, but the patties are thin. Fries are typically sized.
Go here. Get full. Be happy.
Gavin Porter
Probably the best place to go for fries and a quick burger in the world. Always great comfort food and always clean and good service. Never run into any issues here! Definitely a staple of VT. Also love the diner feel to the place! Worth the hour trip for this comfort food!
Sue Cobb
The french fries are my husband's long time (i..e., 30+ years) favorite, but I have never agreed. However, this is an old style place that knows how to crank out decent made to order fast food, and I can't say a word against it. The atmosphere is bright and loud and fun, and ice cream in the summer is an added treat.
Shane Thomas
It was ok for a quick stop. Definitely order more food than you think you’ll eat. Fries were great. Burger was ok, smaller than expected. The strawberry shake takes like a frozen version of strawberry Nesquik. Not a fan. Maybe a little heavy on the fake flavoring.
William Ahearn
As always fabulous french fries, The best IMHO and burgers with just the right balance of ketchup, mustard relish and onions to balance the flavors with tasty meat and toasted buns...
Ethan Barry
Best fries and gravy! EVER!
I drove an hour and thirty minutes just for this borderline religious experience. Just the most delicious menu. Fast and super friendly.
victoria howell
Food is always good however when I went to the restaurant we had to go threw the line to order before getting seated. That wasnt a problem but what was the problem is that we have to tell the people at the end of the line what we want for consonants and when we did they said we have to pay for lettus... now thays something that should be displayed or something they should tell us before getting there like while we were at the register or something would have been nice
Damon Brink
Very few 5 stars but this one is as good as it gets for what it is. Cheap, delicious hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries. All prepared to order, quickly and professionally. If you want some good ole greasy greatness, go here and eat. They have serious creemees in the summer
Daniel Cashdollar
It is good for what I expected. I did expect and little bit larger bun. The big thing for me was no refills. Fry's are good with cheese.
Carol DelGaudio
A true American diner experience! Friendly staff, and the golden oldies playing set the perfect mood for a burger, fries and a shake
Anita DuBrey
I always love coming to l's. They have a wide ready of food from she's burgers to chili dogs too chicken tenders and of course they have their famous fries. Their milkshakes are really good but unfortunately they're way too pricey so I opt out many times when coming here.... But it's nice to get as a treat once in a while. If you want a cheap dinner as long as you stick to just the food and you don't buy a drink it's totally worth it!!!! Thier drink pricing is outrageous and they kinda ought to be ashamed for that....just my opinion!!!! XO

Cheap Hamburger Etc Joint. Drove by here on route to Montpelier. Was going to stop at McDonald's and then saw this place. Mid day Saturday it was pretty packed. Al's is definitely local. There is an outside Creamie bar and inside you get the burgers and fries. The fries are hand cut and come in three sizes. The largest is enough for an Army. The fries were delicious and most likely is why people show up. My kids had hamburgers. They were 2 bucks each. My great grandson really loved his and the milkshake he bought. My Granddaughter was not to impressed as she is more of a Vegan kind of person only eating healthy food. This is definitely not healthy. I had hot dogs with chili. I am from Brooklyn where the Chili dog reigns. I was good for the price but not a high end dog. The place was very clean with lots of seating. Plenty of belly room at the booths which I appreciated. People there are so friendly as well. The cashier was really cool. You pick up at the counter and this is very fast. I dropped one star because my granddaughter was a bit frustrated. I would go there rather than McDonald's. For what it is intended for it did a really good job.

It seems Al's has been around for many years. After visiting I now know why.
All food is cooked to order. Everything we ordered was prepared well and tasted awesome. They also have an ice cream window out front.
If you are in the area definitely stop at Al's.
Kev DayAmerican
When I was a kid 40 years ago we ate at Al’s French Frys all the time. To this day I still remember when they would put the frys in a brown paper bag and throw some salt in and shake the bag. The fry oil would stain the bag and inside was the best frys I have EVER had!! I miss that place and it’s on my bucket list!!!
Amanda Brigan
Such a classic diner with that old school feel. Black and white tile floors, 50's music playing and the best buyers and fries in town. Plus they are owned by locals, so they take part in the community. If you're going thru Burlington this should be a stop!
Cynthia Santiago
This is a great spot for a quick bite, the service is great, the line is quick and the food is tasty! The prices there are also really good, I was very surprised how inexpensive it was to eat there. It's a perfect little spot for a quick bite before a concert, which is usually the reason that brings us to Burlington
John Hawkins
Their burgers and fries are on point for an American greasy grill experience. For food alone I'd give em a 4 star rating. Yet they earned a 3 star. My only issue is 2.07 for a soda with no free refills. That's pretty much trash.
Heather Bezio
Don't let the lines scare you; this just means it's good. ;-) The lines go super fast and the food is so good! They definitely have the best fries around! Take a look around and see their history framed on the walls.
Devin Grasso
Nothing to rave home about, but it was tasty. Had chili cheese dogs w/onion and large fry. Might be my preference but the onion amount was light. Chili was good. Tasted similar to manwich with some other flavors, and enough liquid to moisten and bind the beef. Fries were fresh cut, double fried. Best type
Chad Theis
Interesting place, it looked busy, but the lines moved fairly quick. Food was just okay. Burgers seemed small. Fries were good though.
Duncan Ragland
Great french fries, but they have much more as well. Burgers and dogs get custom toppings right before you get the food, with an easy to see list of options. Plus they have an electric ketchup pump, which is pretty cool.
Greg DeCristofaro
Nice diner style hot dog and hamburger shop with great fries and low prices. Very crowded (even at 2:30 on a rainy Tuesday afternoon) with a variety of types of people. Good burgers and hot dogs.
J Currier
Always a good place for lunch or later, and good ice cream!
Elijah Danyow
You can never go wrong with Al's for any occasion. The only place to get good fast food that isn't a McDonald's or Burger King. Their prices are also very low. I've been coming here as long as I can remember, and have no plans to stop.
Blair Wolston
County Fair food vibe. I get it. Retro diner meets classic burger shop. Low quality, high volume, and lots of better choices in Burlington area. Great for hungover college kids but didn't hit the mark with their burgers and fries. Try 5Guys before you wait in line at this place.
Justin McKill
Although their burgers were small yet flavorful, they're not Al's burgers. Their fries are great and I think it's the first place I've seen where you can get just salt and vinegar at your table.
Richard Rolston
My first time ever going to this restaurant, and I was brought back in time to the 50's and 60's era. The atmosphere was very family oriented . It felt like I should of gone to a sock hop before stopping in for soft serve ice cream, burger, fries and a soft drink. They have the black and white checkered floor, red vynl booth seats and the era's music to match.
You order a hot dog, burger, real chicken sandwhich, then at the station they put your meal together, that where they ask what you want for condiments. *** It is extra for lettuce, tomato, that type of topping, so make sure if you want that to tell them at the register.***
The fries are the best, and they have white vinegar at every booth so you can add it to your fries! Love this place, next time I'm bringing the whole family. It's worth the trip across the pond.
Jennifer Weiler
My family's favorite place to get a fun. Quick bite to eat. My husband only wishes the burgers were bigger haha! It's been a joy to introduce Al's to our kids. My daughter could eat their fries by the handful!
Kevin Mayor
From a vegetarian/vegan perspective, Al's gets big bonus points for having dairy-free creemee/soft serve ice cream. All the flavors are fruit though; it'd be great to get some chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, etc vegan flavors. As for sandwiches, there's only grilled cheese for vegetarians and nothing for vegans. There are some salads, but I didn't try them.
Nicholas poirier
My family and I have been coming to this location for years. The quality has never changed, the place has always been cleaned well and everyone here is very polite. The restaurant has a very 50s 60s feel to it, which is something you don't see much of. Al's is almost a historical location for the area and people around here.
Atticus Hopper
Al! Where have you been? I left you so many years ago and my life hasn't been the same since. When I think of my youthful years in Vermont, my love for you is one of my fondest memories. I can still feel the biting salty taste of your beautifully cooked fries and the sugary taste of your shakes sliding down my throat. Al and your french fries are a beautiful thing in this world that can be too serious and too dire. Shine on you mighty diamond!
Jesse Gaboriau
If you're reading my review I suggest you stop reading and go get a double cheese a cup of fries and a shake. They're that good. Sure maybe their fries aren't what they used to be maybe it's just our palates changing. Regardless Als is still an excellent place for a burger, fries, a hot dog, and some ice cream after a day out on the town or just because. I'm not judging you for the pint of fries you ate by yourself with a shake and a burger on the side.
Peter B
Chili dogs are Great and so are the fries. We tried the fried chicken because the newspaper said it was good. Well, not the 1st time paper is wrong. Chicken took extra time, then the breading was Hard and Over-cooked. Never get chicken again. Stick to fries and dogs.
Sophie Balkind
Really cool retro vibe. The burger and fries I had were great but I was a bit surprised by the small burger and was told by a local that they used to be bigger. The fountain drink I had also tasted watered down but that could be a fluke
Bruce Monroe
Portions smaller and prices up. Didnt let me know it was extra for lettuce tomato and onion on my burger. Had to go back and pay for it. $.70 on my debit card and had to cut in line. Awesome! Embarrassed much! Not again. Lost a 20 year patron.
Alan
The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because we ate inside and there was little to no AC and it was a pretty humid day so it was really hot inside, but other than that the food was fantastic!
Tim Iskander
Cheeseburger was small but delicious. French fries were excellent. Cheese sauce was also excellent. Gravy for fries made me sad... tasted like weak turkey gravy. Definitely go to Al's... just don't bother with the gravy.
Steve Koenemann
Never been a big fan of their food. We stopped by for some soft-serve ice cream recently and it was very good... portions were very large.
Charles Hazen
For a family of four with little kids...why go spend a hundred or more to have dissatisfaction? We go here with the kids and everyone leaves with a smile and the bank isn't broken. Priced right. Friendly quick efficient service. If I were alive in the 50s i'd say it has that feel. Think Happy Days.
Miles Kittell
Generally, Al’s is a five star experience, but the last two times I’ve ordered, they’ve forgotten an item. This past time it was $7 chicken strips, just left it out of the boxes. When I go to call, it rings and rings until it goes to voicemail - theres not even anyone operating the phones. No way to get in touch to get a refund. If they can’t deal with the volume of customers they have then they need to hire more people or devise a new strategy. As it is now, it isn’t acceptable. The first time they forgot to put something in my order I let it go, chalked it up to bad luck, I like these guys. But it’s starting to become less reliable and the good old als we love is losing its charm. Step it up Al’s.
Matt Grev
This is hands down one of the best ice cream parlors in Vermont they have so many options that it would be impossible to list in a single review. In the restaurant itself it is mostly fast food fair burgers fries hot dogs chicken fingers Etc the food is of a standard quality however the ice cream by far the reason to visit.
Ursula Pfitzer
Who needs the McDonald's next door when you have Al's French Frys? Everything from the burger to the bun is phenomenal whether you're sober or not. And worth the wait even when they're slammed with a million customers at once. And endless vinegar for their frys, what more could one ask for?
Ben Therrien
I love there food. Some of the portions have gotten a little smaller and the price a little higher, but the food is totally worth it. I highly suggest you get fries with your meal! They are unbelievably good..
Tiana Valyou
Have gone here since I was a kid. Best fries around, but can no longer eat here for I have a gluten sensitivity. They toast the buns on the same stovetop as meats and don't use separate friers for breaded or seafood items.
Anna N.
I don't know her name but the cashier in the little box was fantastic. I was feeling anxious about ordering and she just made the whole process seem so much less scary. Everyone else was good as well, a good overall situation. Thank you
Eric Williams
ok, i'll admit it: the fries were really good. burger was on the small side even for fast food but every part of it was fresh. super long line, almost out the door on a monday afternoon, but it moves really fast. but back to those fries, they were crisp but never 'hard' or anything near that, blatantly fresh cut. i would certainly return here if given the chance.
Brian Yarwood
Anyone who knows drives by the McDonald's and continues 100 yards to Al's. It's a real institution, loved by my children as well as me. No pretense, don't look for salads, just enjoy the fried food your doctor told you to avoid. Oh, the ice cream is great in the summer, too.
Dan Plante
This is a Vermont staple and a must if you in the Burlington area. Good old greasy burgers and twice fried french fries. The outdoor "igloos" are really cool as well!
Daphney DaUnik
Hot wings were not spicy and they were greasy. They started mushrooms but they are undercooked so not tasty. I had a chicken burger, it was uneventful just kind of plain grilled chicken. The only thing that didn't disappoint were the fries. They are amazing.
Nicole Danielle Beaudoin Smith
There is a definite vibe of the 50's in this place! Love the great music, adore the diner feel, drool over the ice cream (Summer months), and gobble up the great food. The greatest point about this place, though, is the fries. They have the #1 best anywhere, and the closest 2nd (a far 2nd at that) is Five Guys. So delicious, and you even have the option of drizzling vinegar over them. So, plunk down in one of their booths with a burger and some fried clam strips, but save room for the fries!
mindy watkins
Service was friendly and fast. We had a quart of fries that we loved, philly cheesesteak was great, chili dog very tasty! Oh and the gravy was soo good. We will go again next time were in the area!!
Matt Riley
Fair warning I am biased. I grew up in AZ and UT which have burger joints, like Hires, Paces Dairy Anne, In-N-Out, that I have never been able to find comparable to any other burger joints throughout the nation. That being said friendly staff and decent burger and fries. Just not good or great in my opinion.
Tracey Phelps
Had a great meal with my family there. Everyone was reminiscing about good times at Al's for over 30 years. Aunt Gayle thinks the chili is way spicier, but we all liked it.
Matt Takas
The food here was just ok. Not sure if it was because it was later in the evening, but we've had better. The fries were not as spectacular as we thought they might be and the burger was just average. Might give it another try sometime to see if there is any difference.
Mathias Duchesne
Food was good but it’s really expensive for what you get.
Nancy Gunther
A quintessential place to eat ! What's there not to love about Al's French Fries ?!! The ambience is 1960-70' m's music with decor reflective of the times. The food is great and the staff is wonderful.
Al's French Fries is a real pick-me-up when you are having any kind of day. The place is upbeat, too!
Leah Neira
Al's French Frys is a Vermont staple. They have a classic diner fare at great prices. Their french fries are the best - they have that perfect fry to salt ratio. And their burgers are pretty great too. Plus during the summer they have creemees to top off a perfect meal.
A W
Best fries in all of Vermont. If you're visiting and looking for a place to eat, go here. They can be busy on weekends, but they're really quick, despite lines, and you won't regret it once you taste the fries or hot dogs.
Brandon Watson
Good old fashioned diner with amazing food. We tried a little of everything. Can’t explain how good it was. If your in the area it’s a must. Been around since 1940
Nancy Corso
Delicious and well priced. Thought the wait for the food was too long. The staff is friendly. I would like to suggest table service to lessen the wait time standing in line. Thanks
Scott. E
I think they changed their French fries
Chris Lins
Great place for cheap burgers and great fries. Small burgers so you might want to order a few to feel full.
They've got a walk-up outside for the icecream too!
It's got a great retro feel to it!
Jake McGinnis
My all time favorite burger joint. Obviously the fries are amazing. Everything is super cheap and in the summer they have a great creemee stand. This place is a Vermont legend.
Loren Hollister
Fun place, good burgers. Been there for years. A Vermont institution. Burgers are small but inexpensive. We go a couple of times a month. Good fast food consistent quality.
Lauren Krupinski
Service is quick and food is delicious. We had a quart of frys and could have eaten more because they were so good. Also had a maple creemee afterwards and that was amazing as well.
Jonah Faulkner
Right next to a McDonald's and this place is Jam Packed almost all hours of every day.
This place is cheap fast food but it's a local business! Delicious if greasy goodness is what you're going for.
jessica phillips-cech
Great place to go for a simple burger and fries meal. Lots of options we ordered random things to try chicken tenders were really good philly sandwich was good actually the burger was good but was the least popular of all the stuff we tried.
Elizabeth Matthews
Friendly staff food was good.
scolf423
The only thing bad I have to say about Al's is that the burgers are slightly on the small side, kind of like sliders. Other than that, Al's is a great place to eat with anyone (family, kids, date, etc.), and has great food and quick service.
Erin Hakey
There was a huge line but it went really quick

We have been going to Als since the 80's 🏆🔥🏆 …
Stan Payne
Al's French Frys is a locally owned fast food restaurant that have been in business since the late 1940's. They serve the best fast food fries, hands down. They come in cups, pints or quarts and are shareable. The meats are local and are from McKenzie. They serve burgers, hot dogs and chicken and let you put whatever condiments you want on them. They serve Coke products when it comes to beverages. Their service is fast and the food gets to you right away as soon as they're cooked. They can get pretty busy at times, but their service are still pretty fast. In the summer months, they do serve creemees (soft serve) and hard ice cream. The flavors they have for creemees are: chocolate, vanilla, chocolate/vanilla mix, blackberry, maple and (sometimes) strawberry. They have all the common flavors for hard ice cream. You can order a sundae or even a banana split. Stop by at Al's French Frys today amd you won't be disappointed.
Mr ZXR
Absolutely loved this place. I've been in Florida for the past 15+ years but was born and raised in s.Burlington and lived down the street from here. My parents used to bring me here all the time, one of my favorite childhood places. Glad to see it's still around.
william barry
Awesome food !!! Whenever I go to Burlington I always like to stop...they have the best fry's !!!
Jason Hao
Fries are fantastic here. Interior has a retro diner feel. Their burgers take the form of small sliders - not a big burger if that's what you're looking for, but throwing down a few is satisfying nonetheless. Also serve creemees in the summer.
shawn m
Al's is probably the most well known burger spot in Chittenden county for good reason. They are always sponsoring little league teams and local events. They even have pictures of all the trams they sponsored hanging up. But the biggest reason is the food, still doing it just like I remember as a kid, old school cook line, toast the buns on the same griddle the burgers cook on. They also have hot dogs, minute steaks, pepper steaks, chicken sandwiches, all are delicious. And it's in the name, so it should go without saying, but thier French fries are the best. And they managed to keep thier prices cheap, hard to find a good 2 dollar burger (unless you think McDonald's is good haha) the only downside to this place is it's popularity. Catch them on one of those first nice Wednesdays of summer, and you will be waiting in line for a while, normal busy times are not bad though because they run both grills. Absolutely love this place
Bailey West
Amazing people, Amazing food, Amazing atmosphere. If you're visiting from out of town, make sure to make at least 1 stop here!
Jessica Della Pepa
If you have not eaten here yet, you must. This is THE place for fries (spelled frys here) and the burgers and dogs are the best on the grill. Love that you can see your food being cooked while you wait. Some veggie options, too (I am pretty sure they have a fry oil vat and a separate fried food pit, too. Although, because it is all open, those who refrain from eating meat may not find the aroma of the place appealing.
K b
I grew up on Als French fries. Loved them! Fast foward 20 years later. After a military career came home and they still have the best fries and dogs on the planet! I love you Als!!!
Teddie Lynn Lawson
Never had a disappointing experience. Fries are on point and a family favorite. Food is fast and consistent. Good place to grab a quick bite and is kid friendly.
Christopher Hartigan (Hardy White the.Original)
Service is fast and straight forward. Classic American diner menu. Burgers are great. Fries are amazing. Gravy is watery. Thicker gravy would be appreciated.
Jerry Belmonte
Al's is a classic food place. Hotdogs hamburgers and of course the fries !! Got to get the 🍟! Prices are right too. The clam strips are pretty small for $4, otherwise everything else is great …
Aiden Staudt
Great food I went there with my friends and it was good I love thretro 50 dinner style 50 to 80 music would recommend.
Jane Baronas
Perfect 50's-style fast food joint. Reasonable prices, good standard fare, and retro music from an earlier time. Don't let the lines scare you - they move quickly!
George Donovan
A So Burlington landmark.
The fries are great, but try the chili cheese dog. (When they ask what you want on your dog, tell'm to throw it all on. Messier the better.) Seriously, it's worth the trip.
Antonio Gooseman
Very good for cheap fast food. The only thing is that the meal portions are very small, so I would order a "double" or order 2 meals per person. The ice cream is terrific though.
william pirofsky
Never a disappointment super fresh , employees all focused on their duties and really well laid out. Only complaint I would have is the restrooms need to be redone complete overhaul.
David Langille
Great French Fries from fresh cut potatoes.
However the burgers are so thin its terrible. They taste like frozen big box store burger.
Clean friendly environment
Will return again.
Juanita Hernandez
Al's French Fries is very popular! I went to work in Burlington and stayed down the street at the hotel. I was lookingfor a new place to eat at and drove by once and saw how busy it was so I skipped it. The next day, I needed to get food again LOL so I thought of Al's. It was somewhat out of the way of where I was, but chose to make the drive. The inside is like a 50s style diner and the staff are very friendly. I thought the burger was a little small but it was very good. It didn't have traditional burger taste. The bun was good and overall it was good!
Bill Richards
If you don’t like the fries here then I don’t like you, and probably nobody else does either.
Sneaky Bastard (Zach)
Delicious would recommend always a great meal my one year old loved it
Kathy Augustyniak
Good food, Amazing Fries!
Christopher Perry
Al's is an ancient and sacred temple of grease. Everything on the menu is good - though the best things are burgers and frys - and you can't go wrong with ice cream. Booths here are tight and there can be a line, but it's one of the rare places open late.
Blake Hedman
Great food, greater service, best atmosphere!!! Would rate 15/5 if I could. Small burgers but taste and price make up for it. Love the authentic vintage 50/60s look!
David McClellan
Love this place. It always looks like there's a long wait to get food, but I've never waited more than 10 minutes.
Lots of seating, but sometimes it fills up during very busy hours.
Great food, great old timey atmosphere. We visit every chance we can!
Amy Del Prete
This famous and popular Burger Diner is great as an alternative to fast food. Inexpensive menu featuring, burgers dogs and fries. Done in 60s decor with a very busy and efficient staff.
Carmen Phillips
okay French fries but not the best. plentiful size for fair price though. ice cream is over priced and ice cream staff (young gal) was grumpy and looked like she hated her job
steak and cheese had a cheap bun that was soggy and fell in half. no A1 sauce...<- words from the hubby.
D R
I would give this place a 1 star if it wasn't for the great service and the ice cream. Go enjoy the ice cream and atmosphere; but avoid the bland overpriced sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and fries. As my 4 year old said McDonald's is better. I still haven't figured out how you make a Philly so bland!
Chris Brunell
Al's french fries is and always will be a place where I can take others to have something really good to eat.
Always will be highly rated and highly recommended.
Thank you for the great food and hospitality.
Jessi Danforth
Love this place. My girlfriend and I have gone here sonce we started goimg togetber two and a half years ago. Its one of our spots when we go to Burlington. Its mostly quick when you order yes its busy there because its so good but never much of a wait. Thank you for als French fries for being so awesome
Dawn “Dawnie” Obrien
Al's is a place I have visited for may years!! Everyone loves their Frys. I just tried new strawberry maple creemee. The best fish sandwiches & double cheeseburgers ever!!
Konigwolf
Lots of space to sit, really friendly and patient staff and they try make the order just right for you. The burgers are on the smaller side but the price makes up for it. Delicious corndogs!
