Reviews of Regina Pizzeria

Visiting from NYC, we definitely have a high standard for pizza, and this place was great. Real busy and fast paced, but they take care of you. Love the vibe and the space. And the pizza was delicious! Definitely recommend stopping in for a quick bite.

First time in Boston when I found this amazing Pizzeria. Had a friend who told me we needed to stop in. And she was right! This pizza was mouthwatering delicious! My daughter and I both hot our own pizza and we both almost devoured the entire pizza. I am positive I have never had pizza this good! Thank you Regina's, we couldn't get enough. We will be back in the summer and surely to make a stop here!

This place was so goood! I was able to sit at the bar and honestly best seat in the house. The bartender that was there bless his heart but I forgot his name but he has been working there since he was 19. Made me feel like I was talking to my brother.
Gave me some fun facts about root beer and talked about one of the locals Sunday Steve that has had a pizza there every week for years!!!
This place was delicious!!!! Great place!!!

The pizza is fantastic. My husband and I had the classic cheese pizza with Canadian bacon and the white pizza…. Both pies were exceptional amazing. We will definitely be back.

We came here and had some pizza. We aren’t from Boston for wanted to find a nice slice. They sell the whole pie here not just the slice like they do in New York. Fun place with pizza and beer pitchers.

One of the more popular and well known spots in the North End. We didn’t have a reservation so we ended up waiting approx. 20 minutes for a table outside. The service was a little slow, but I think the waitstaff were stretched very thin. Once we ordered the food arrived quickly. The pizza was great, albeit it’s similar to many of the other pizzerias in the area. A fun place to go, but nothing ground breaking. Seems to be famous because it’s famous, rather than for outstanding food.

Best pizza in town. No wait at 4 pm and I I was seated immediately. Service wasn’t super friendly but I needed some alone time. Got my favorite pepperoni and mushroom. Pizza was amazing. I would say if you are close and want a quick bite to eat try this place.

Unfortunately disappointing. I don’t get the hype. It is not bad pizza, but it is not amazing. Quite standard American. Too heavy on the cheese, and crust a bit undercooked. I’m from Boston and come here when I visit every few years, but last 2 visits have been underwhelming. Also attitude of *some*of the waitstaff not the best. I get it, these days are not easy, but you should at least try to be pleasant.

Excellent authentic Italian pizza on the North End in Boston! Highly recommend this family friend venue where you get to select from over 20 styles of pizza. 10 inch or 16 will feed you. Go today!

Went to Regina Pizzeria in the North End in Boston, absolutely the best pizza in the area. Hand made pizza crust and dough. It was quick service and they were very polite.
Judy Payne
We went here because we kept seeing folks with pizza boxes. My kids enjoyed the white pie. I only had one slice...good service. Enjoyed the outdoor seating. Reasonably priced.

No frills pizzeria serving only pizza.
Excellent pizza with nicely charred crust and lots of toppings. Beer is served with frosty glasses. Servers are friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Regina's did not disappoint. It's a beautiful walk getting there and though they're always packed out, they're turning over tables quick.
You can grab big slices to go but you'll have to order a full pie if you dine in. Either way, you cannot lose.
Tons of options on the menu and they're all fantastic. Just old school pizza with no filler. There's a reason so many celebrities have come to this place.
If you're in North End, or Boston period, Regina's has to be on your list. You might just need to spend two days in "Little Italy".
Buon appetito 🇮🇹

Small and very busy spot a couple blocks away from the main street. Waiting time to be seated was about 1:30, and service took almost 30 minutes once we ordered.
The food made the wait worth ever minute. Delicious crust, looked thin, but it was just the right size. Fresh ingredients, the sauce was spectacular.
Will definitely return, hopefully at a less crazy time.

All the other reviews out there are understatments!! 10 stars and my new NUMBER 1 FAVORITE PIZZA IN ALL OF THE USA!!!!!!!!! I have reviewed alot of parlors all over the 🇺🇸. You can check my posts there are some must try pies in there.
I had the Cup Char pizza with extra cheese and Reginas sausage. The spices in the sauce were out a this world delicious. Crust was perfect. Our server has to get 10 stars by herself. Service was lightning fast and the place was packed, it is the original Reginas location. If your from outa town like me, get there early or stand in the long line that's well worth the wait.

I was always a bit hesitant to try this place - always bustling with tourists/ long waits somewhat discouraged me from visiting the oldest pizzeria in New England.
I finally got to try this place on a rainy day when I saw no lines in front of the store. Ordered the heirloom tomato pizza; loaded with fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and basil. Just from the imperfect oval shape, I could tell the authenticity of the pizza, and I was correct to guess so. As a meat lover, I always opt to get some kind of meat on my pizza, but this was absolutely delicious even without a single piece of meat. Thick layer of fresh mozzarella cheese was juicy and it surprisingly imitated the texture of a steak. Crunchy and cooked to perfection, the dough was also the best I had so far in Boston.
The hype is real for once. If you’re visiting Boston, this place should be a top priority and I highly recommend trying out their heirloom tomato pizza.

Amazing! Please go and wait in line is so worth it..
The crust, the sauce the toppings everything was super good. Go for the pizzas don't get drink and waste belly room with beer .

Regina is a pizzeria since 1926, the official pizza of the Red Sox Boston baseball team, it is a comfortable space with a lot of customers inside!
The service, the people, the bar, are amazing!
Fast service and fast food!
Highly recommend this place

Walked by Regina's with friends while exploring the neighborhood and decided to stop for a quick bite! The vibe of this pizza shop makes you feel like you're transporting yourself back in time with their booths and oldies music. But more important than the vibe was the food! We ordered the pizza with fried eggplant (which was breaded and the same consistency as the eggplant in an eggplant parm)! The pizza crust was crispy, the cheese was generous, and the sauce was flavorful. One of the best pizza's I've had in Boston!
J
There is usually a wait here. Pizza is cooked perfectly but the sauce is just missing something. Friendly service. They have inside and outside seating and only do slices during the week.
Chris Fedor (Rockhopper)
We ordered two pizzas, one cheese and one specialty. Both were way overcooked and the entire crusts were blackened so you got a burned taste in every bite. We've been here before and it was better. Maybe the pizza cooks had a bad day. Ernesto's is consistently good. Go there instead.
Vahe Yacoubian
Best pizza that I have had in Boston. Absolutely delicious. Pizza is crispy and tasty. Had the classic margarita pizza and was really good. Have had the pepperoni in the past (which is really good but not as good as the margarita)
Margarita 5/5 - The best. I could eat this once a week at least.
Maninder Singh
Best Regina Pizzeria in Town if you really want to feel like a small town in Italy. Try their signature Pizza or newly added Buffalo the Americanized Italian Pizza. You will miss this place right after you come out. Plan ahead if you are going on a peak Lunch or Dinner time. They have open heaters outside for people waiting outside. No Parking unless Take-away. Small but original house Pizza you will miss for days.
justin majeed
This is your classic old school pizza joint. Still flip the dough by hand... it's where the locals go for old school pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pie, and while it was good, it def not the best pizza I've ever had. The ambiance is nice and prices reasonable.
Holly Hamilton
My friend is obsessed with the saint Anthonys pizza here. You need your whole party to be seated and it's a popular place so you better make sure to follow this rule. We split some large pizzas and they were delicious and the bill was not too large and our waitress was very kind and funny
Heesup In
The pizza were good, the vegetables were still alive and full of taste.
The atmosphere was great for pizza, cozy and what you would expect a Pizza restaurant to feel and look like.
The server was the best, tentive and made it really comfortable, like I was a regular.

Fantastic, when I knew I was coming back to Boston my only thing I wanted to do again was get to Regina Pizzeria. Doug at the bar is what deals the deal on the whole Boston pizza theme. Pizza is amazing, and I think it was so good my wife cried. So don’t think you’ll get that at many other places. Cannot wait to go back!
Dylan Bay
Got a chicken pizza that I forgot the name of. Very good! Got the personal 10”. Not busy at all in times of Covid. However, they put like entire quarter onions in there. Had to pick out a fair amount of toppings because of that. Only reason not 5 stars.
Ben Kranefeld
Made it to Regina Pizzeria! Fortunately we got in before the dinner rush, as when we left, there was a line out front.
The inside is small and a bit cramped, but you get a feel of a true pizzeria that's been around for over 90 years. Service was pretty fast. We only ordered one pie, and it went quick! The sauce had a bold tomato acidity to it, not sweet whatsoever. The crust was crispy throughout the entire slice. If there was one negative aspect about the pizza, it was the overabundance of cheese. Some people like that, but I felt it was a bit too much. Made for a lot of extra grease.
All in all, our experience at Regina Pizzeria was a great one! If I'm ever in Boston again, I would absolutely go back! Definitely give this place a shot!
Evan Wawrykow
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust is fantastic. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.
Shreya
Kinda rude customer service. We went on a Thursday night and it just didn't feel welcoming. We ate the pizza quickly and got out quickly. It's not the best pizza for sure- there's other places that are better. Kinda a sports bar vibe tho so if you're looking for beer and pizza it's a good spot
Tom March
Best pizza in Boston! I get points from Google for writing reviews longer than 200 characters but there’s literally nothing else to say about this place other than that it’s the best pizza we found in Boston! Recently also voted the best pizza in the US.
No reservations so expect a queue outside, but we got seated quickly (within 10 minutes, queue of about 30). Big menu and cheap beer pitchers, also will do takeout.
Julieta Crespo
This was my first slice of pizza in Boston! And you know what? It really puts la vara muy alta, like we say in México. It means high above the averange.
The cheese is amazing, and the taste of the crust is good. The first one I tried was without tomato sauce, and the flavours of all the ingredients were awesome. Everytime I'm in Boston, and think of pizza the little crown comes to my mind.
Sometimes I think it spent to much time in the oven (it was a little burn).
Nick K
Great pizza place in the north end. Be prepared to wait in line if you want to sit, but you can also order to go and get in and out in 15 minutes.
Overall it's great quality, and the atmosphere is fun. It's a classic New England pizza joint, so take it all in and enjoy the meal.
Parking is tight so walking there is a good option if available.
Frank M
Rude hurried greeting. I ordered a small 10 inch sausage cacciatore $17.00. This topping too liquidity. Should have ordered sausage and cheese. Crust ok but nothing special. Small cramped seating area. Traveled from Bridgwater to this restaurant. Not worth it.
Noman Siddiqui
Excellent pizza! Undoubtedly the best Italian pizza in the USA..., The layout of the Location in Downtown Boston gave me the feeling of mini Italy.
Maya Berri
The best pizza experience ever. I was in Boston in October 2018 and Regina’s came as a highly recommended pizza place. This should be on everybody’s radar. Even though there was a long wait it was so worth it. I would return in a heartbeat. The Pizza and ingredients were fresh. The cheese was great quality. Service was amazing. We sat at the bar which was a bit crowded and cramped but the atmosphere at the bar area made it an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Regina’s at the North End. The prices were decent for that area.
Grgrvs Yprvsk
Pizza is burned (see pictures) and tastes just okay, nothing special. One of the waitresses (woman in late 30s or early 40s) just slides the plate on your table, doesn't even stop to place it - she's too busy for that. Another waitress doesn't stop to get your order for another beer and prefers to hear it from the distance. Weird dynamic here, they act like they are doing you a favor. Still trying to figure out if it's the amount of cop badges on the walls or the age of this place that contributes to this place's reputation, but I wouldn't rate their pizza so highly.
darren cornea
All time classic, there will be a line so be ready. The pizza taste like nothing you have ever had before. Staff is friendly and courteous. Highly recommend stopping in!
Hannelore Ohaus
Absolutely delicious, well worth their reputation! The crust was just the right texture and the toppings were deliciously fresh. We ordered too many pizzas for the size of our table and the staff were able to make it all fit. The bottled root beer was great too. There was a bit of a line when we arrived but it moved quickly. The waitstaff were efficient at taking our orders and it's clear they're running a very streamlined system.
Wolfram Hoffmann
A must if you would like to have delicious pizza in Boston! The handmade pizzas taste awesome and the atmosphere is unique! Even though you have to wait for approx. 15-20 minutes, it’s absolutely worth it! Special thanks to our waitress Lorena - it has been unforgettable! If been back in Boston, we will come back, for sure!
Alex Merryman
Best pizza in all of Boston. With a historic background their pizza is ever so special. The staff is very quick and friendly I waited only 10m for a pizza and it was well worth it. Everything was just plain delicious.
Isaac Christenson
I stopped in while visiting Boston for pizza and a beer during lunch. Staff was a bit blunt (though I may be a too sensitive Midwestern guy) and I found a place at the bar. The bartender was really great and helped me order as this was my first time here. I ended up getting the #14 (I think) which had chicken, ricotta, and artichoke hearts on it. It was very good! The crust was fantastic - crispy & fluffy. The 10" pizza is more than enough for one person. This place was very busy at lunch and I would recommend showing up around 11:30 to ensure you get a table. The venue is smaller and I would not recommend large groups here. You can tell this place is popular with the locals because they have pizza slices to go that fly out the door. I would recommend it here!
Heather Bloom
My husband would divorce me for saying this, but BETTER than Frank Pepe's in New Haven Connecticut (supposedly the country's best pizza). I've never encountered a better red sauce: just the perfect balance of tangy, salty, and rich, not layered on too heavy. And the sausage... Hands down the best I've ever had. It's apparently a tradition for them to collect badges from different services around the world (police, fire, DEA, etc), so the desire is especially fun to look at.
Alfredo Esparza
Worlds best?! Well it is certainly delicious pizza. Torn to chose, our waitress kindly and patiently explained must haves and on her suggestions we got two great pizzas! This Place and smells and screams authentic pizzeria. Atmosphere is great with there excellent garlic oil! Did I mention there garlic olive oil! Must have with your pizza! My pictures are of my left over's a day later. Oven an 450 for couple of minutes and your having the same delicious pizza ALL OVER AGAIN!
Albuquerque New Mexico (USA) is kindly extending and invitation to Regina to open an awesome pizzeria. First slice on me!
My pictures of cold pizza do no justice to Regina's. That's a fact!
UPDATE: Before heading back home, we stopped by for one more pizza! This time a hot great pizza picture to add!

When arriving at Regina Pizzeria there was an approximate wait time of 25 minutes. The owner would come out and check up on the line marking down the parties. When our party was called, we walked into an incredibly packed restaurant and were kindly directed to our wooden booth. The service inside was fast paced and direct, leaving very little time for conversation or questions. However, our delicious large cheese pizza arrived within a matter of 10 minutes.
The presentation of the pizza was delightful. The pie had the perfect amount of crisp, dough bubbles, and crust portion. We then discovered the reason why the lines are always out the door. The taste of this pizza was out of this world and one of a kind among New England pizza joints. Each slice consisted of the ideal amount of cheese and sauce equating to a well balanced bite every single time. The dough was fresh out of the oven and cooked just the right amount.
Would highly recommend if in the area!
Jon W
Get there, stand in line outside, get called in, and eat great pizza. The place isn’t large but packs em in. They are pretty good about moving people through and the pizza is awesome. The bathrooms are as small as the restaurant. The service was ok; great until we got our food (which they literally set one pizza on top of the other as is in the picture) then we couldn’t get any refills for drinks. The food was still great and it was a nice place.
Zack Horvath
You can't go to Boston without going to the original Regina Pizzaria, or at absolute minimum getting a pie to go. It's life-changing. I'm from the west coast and we just can't get pizza right, but every slice I've had here really nails that fix I'm after.
You can order slices, but, like others have said you'll regret it. Pictured are the 10" pizzas which are the perfect amount of food to leave you full and satisfied!
The line moves fast, but try to get there in off hours.
Jesslyn Farros
Delicious!! We really enjoyed both pizzas that we ordered, the crust was thin, but not too thin. It was well-cooked, the sauce was tasty, and topping were fresh! We did order takeout (I highly recommend doing this) since we knew there would be a long line getting into the restaurant!! If you don’t mind waiting, use the line, but otherwise go for takeout!
Adam Hockley
Wonderful place. It’s a small place, but quite lively! The pizza was wonderful. Definitely recommend. FYI, We did wait an hour in line (arrived around 6:30 on a Saturday night), but felt it was worth it.
Uriah Jabez
Great pizza, best I ever had? No. Nice place to visit if not just for the bucket list aspect and nostalgia.
Philip Kasten
Truly great pizza. There's almost always a long line (and long wait) to get seated, but the pizza is worth it. Regina Pizzeria hasn't let their success ruin the experience for its customers.
Michael J Lanzo
Had a great lunch/ brunch today got the plain cheese pizza 🍕 was delicious down to last bite. Love coming here but just reviewing not complaining: This place here in the North End Boston is old, bathrooms are tiny with small doors 🚪 place is small and maybe claustrophobic for some people, no intimate conversation here just great pizza. Enjoy
Teddy Lee
I'm from out of town where your pizza is defined by the national franchise(s): Dominos, Papa Johns, etc. Thanks to Barstool Dave, I heard about this must try location.
I don't even know where to begin with the explanation of how amazing and better these pies were compared to any I've had my whole life. Barstool Dave explains how pizzas have this certain "tang" and it wasn't until I tried this goodness that I finally understood what he meant. Don't hesitate with the ambivalent reviews, just do yourself a favor and order a pie.
Lori Emry
If you are ever in Boston and anywhere near a Regina pizza restaurant, you have to try this pizza. Yes you will have to stand in line. We had about a 15 minute wait for a table for seven people. People that we’re just picking up slices of pizza to go were able to just walk right in and get their slices. It was well worth the wait. We tried two different kinds of pizzas and we liked them both. The crust is the key to this pizza I think. It is thin but crispy. The sauce is just perfect! It’s the best sauce and crust we have every eaten. I know this is one of the oldest established pizza joints in the Boston area and it is well worth going to.
Jason Lu
Really good pizza! Quite possibly the best I have ever had!
Brian Ha
Best pizza ever. Been to a lot of pizza restaurants and this one is my favorite. Great vibes in the bustling shop. Would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking to get quality pizza.
Nicol Copeland
Love this pizza!! Come all th be way from California to eat it!! 😋 it's been a tradition for my husband and I to get this pie, love the classic pepperoni ❤
Luis Sandoval
This place it's amazing. We got the Mediterranean pizza which was super delicious. You gotta wait outside with the whole crew though or they won't give you a table. Inside it was super cozy. We asked for the Louie sauce as per comments and gave it a extra touch. Will definitely going back. Thank you!
Whit H
Sometimes, a pizza is more akin to a religious experience than a savory circle of bread topped with sauce, cheese, and toppings. This is one of those pizzas. Let's start at the top: exemplary pepperonis, the kind you scrawl with a red crayon as a child when you are asked to draw a pizza. Next, gooey cheese. Salty, stringy, delicious cheese with a pull to it that can rival the best. Then, exactly-right tomato sauce. It doesn't fade into the background but it doesn't overpower. Finally, the crust. Dusted with flour and dotted with char marks from the brick oven, this is crust with a reliable, inviting chew. Regina pizza is an absolute institution and should in no circumstances be overlooked on a trip out East.
Sam Adams
It’s nice if you get to sit outside, the place is always busy specially on the weekends, so consider a wait of average 20-30 minutes.
Service is not so great, depending really on the mood of the waitress.
Pizza is was not cooked well, topping was out of the box, no much taste.
Prices are okay for what you get.
I will try different places next time.
Pamela Wooden
It lived up to our expectations! So good! We had the Margarita pizza and it couldn’t have been better anywhere else! Going to Boston? You definitely need to add Regina’s to your list of “must try” eating places! Especially if pizza is also on that list!
krutartha shah
Absolutely love their pizzas. This place is super busy even on weekdays. I did the takeout so not sure if I’m person dining is good or not. Parking is a big problem around this area.
Quality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ expensive
Ambience ⭐️⭐️
Ryan Sanderson
The pizza is very good. Lots of sauce and very cheesy. Crust was was on par. We placed a take out order that was mixed up with another to go order so we had to wait a very long time for it. Worth a visit for sure.
Levi Sutton
The staff was very friendly. They were packed but I think every single worker at least stopped to ask if I needed any help as I waited on my online order. The pizza was delicious and cooked exactly as I ordered it. Highly recommend!
samir livadic
Piza was great like always every time I visit Boston I would stop by to have pizza this place is unique on its own way really busy but worth wait for some of best pie you will ever eat
Cindy Backman
Love this place! This is the original from the chain that had come about. It is better than any other one. My favorite pizza in the world. Order the St. Anthony's pizza. The atmosphere is great here. There can be a long line outside if you come during busy times.
Michele Summers
Great staff!! Voted at one time best pizza in Boston. Pandemic hurt their business. Check out the walls for all the stars who love this place.
Worth checking out 😉 …
Michael Galan
1st time in Boston and this place came highly recommend. I was blown away. Your pizza is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Melanie Rios
Coming from NYC, more particularly Queens, I had low expectations for this Boston pizzeria. As soon as I walked in I could smell the delicious pizza. I ordered a marinara 10 inch pizza with meatballs for a topping. The pizza arrived to the table straight our of the oven. The basil was fresh and the meatballs tasted homemade. The sauce was OK. It wasn't my favorite sauce. The mozzarella cheese covered most of the pizza so the sauce didn't bother me that much.
Hendrick Simoes
I have traveled and eaten pizza all around the world... This pizzeria makes some of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The only downside to eating here is that they are usually packed and the staff in a rush to get you in and get you out. So it's not a place where one could just hang out with friends. But it's understandable... they got to keep the chow line moving so other people get an opportunity to experience their amazing pizza.
Lisa Wilson
Authentic and delicious! Pizzas were cooked perfectly and loaded with toppings! Staff was friendly and attentive, even though the place was packed! Can't wait to go back!
Rob Rich
Best pizza ever. Seriously. Pizza was so delicious I'll probably dream about it. Reasonable for what you get. Top shelf beer (Stella, Harpoon IPA, Sam Adams) for $6 a bottle, though selection is somewhat limited. Pictured is a sausage cacciatore pizza. It was LOADED. Service was friendly and mostly prompt, even though the place was packed. Decor is simple but clean, after all, it's a pizza joint. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommended.
One tip, eat early or late as the wait can be long. We went in at 7:30 on a Thursday night and there was one table open and a few seats at the bar. A few tables opened up around 8, but mostly it stayed packed until 8:30 or so.
Anurag Kumar Jain
Pizzas were good but nothing exceptional to be called best in US. Maybe I was too excited and was expecting a lot given the trip advisor best pizzeria rank.
We went on Saturday evening and the queue was long maybe 20-25 people but within 30mins we were in.
Doug Maestas
Very good pizza. Historical area and the staff was friendly. It was very busy but we were able to get seated fairly quickly. I would definitely visit again if I'm back in the Boston area.
Zach Hile
Came on the recommendation of El Presidente and can confidently say it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Crust was perfectly crisp and came fresh from the oven to the table. If you plan on dining in, make sure you have your whole party present before trying to get seated.
Pietro Rossini
The oldest pizzeria in Boston. Rich menu. Old Italian vibes. And great pizza. If you visit Boston you can't miss going to the North End, the Italian neighborhood and try a pizza in this place!
Ron Fisher
Amazing crust and sauce. The staff have been super cool both times I went and they always get the orders out pretty quick. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in this style.
Melanie Dutton
A must visit! The pizza and staff are great! Sit at the bar if you can with Patrice. Had the spinach pizza but added chicken and hot peppers. Ask for the oil with extra cheese.
I got there at 11am opening and had no wait but a line had already formed. Be prepared to wait especially in the afternoon.
Moises Sabido Garcia
Wow let me tell you how amazing the pizza was! The pollo Regina was not only steaming hot but it was incredibly delicious. Coming from LA I've never had pizza quite like it. It reminds me of chicken fajita on pizza (in a good way). The service was meh but the focus is on the food and the food shines bright
Joe Agresti
Maybe the smallest bathrooms in America
The pizza is good and all but really you should go just to see if you can fit in the stalls. Pepperoni was on point but the pizza was a bit floppier than it needed to be
Alpha Omega
We waited in line, but it was worth it. Because instead of the two ordered small sized pizzas, we werde served two big pizzas – all of you who have been there know what this means. We couldn't barely eat half of it, but were surprised of the good quality of the ingredients. The shrimps were amazing, also the sausage. The dough ist mouthwatering and baked to perfection. Really loved that joint, but you need to like the more hectic places.
Ramzey Farsijany
Best pizza you will ever have. Rated number one on TripAdvisor for the year 2018. This is highest in the country. Make sure you ask for the oil sauce on the side. It’s amazing
Jason Rehor
Excellent pizza place on the north end of Boston. There was about a 30 minute wait but it was well worth it as it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The pizza paired great with the Harpoon IPA. The service from Douglas was great as well! I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a great pizza place in Boston.
Shelby Rice
Long wait, but the Puttanesca specialty pizza was worth it. It reminded me of a good artichoke dip, but with fresh marinara sauce. They are heavy on the toppings and they seem very fresh.
Tips: You must stand in line to be seated at the bar.
They seemed to have trouble seating more than 4 at a time. They sell cheese & pepperoni by-the-slice, but I think they reheat those and they're not as good as getting a 10"+ made-to-order.
E. Mayo
Excellent pizza!! Worth the wait!!! Great service!! A MUST when in Boston! I loved all the Law Enforcement patches on the walls!
R
Pizza was great would've ordered more and a Togo, but schedule wouldn't allow even to go back. Do not miss out. Best pizza in Boston

Fantastic Find.
Turned up to find a queue outside, which was a good sign and was down to the popularity of this place. Upon entering there was a great atmosphere and a fantastic smell. The restaurant is small, but that added to the experience and gave it a sense of old fashioned charm.
The Service is very fast and very professional, all the servers were so quick, but you didn’t feel rushed. The pizza was exceptional. Cooked to order, had a lovely crisp base and a great top. The best pizza I have ever had.
Worth flying from U.K. to Boston just for this. Wish I had time to go again.
M. Prescott
The wait wasn't too long.
Pizza was very good and almost the size of the table! Yes, we had some to take home.
Service was fast and efficient. Busy, busy little place!
Finding a parking space was extremely challenging.
Daniel Lopez
Delicious Pizza! We ate here while on vacation and pizza was fresh out the oven hot and very tasty and flavorful! Service was a tad slow but considering they had a full house it was understandable. We are out in the “patio” which really was just the side of the road but we didn’t mind it because we were starving! A tad cold but obviously that has nothing to do with the restaurant as it was a chilly night and we chose to eat outside. If I ever go back to Boston this is one of those must haves before I leave!

A guy from Charlestown told me to visit one pizza place before I left: Regina’s. Me and the wife abided and my god was their pizza something to remember. Old school vibe, great pizza, great staff. 10/10 would recommend

This was number 35 on the menu-vegetarian pizza which cost about 23 dollars. But I got it vegan so only cost me 18 something dollars. It was a wonderful pizza. I love it. When I got there it was around 7pm and bunch of people were waiting outside to get in. I stayed on line 10 minutes or so not knowing it was to eat inside. I decided to take out so I could just walk in side and order. Also I think you can order to pick up before going there. I would dedfinetly go back when I am in Boston.
Denis Mankovsky
Hands down the best Pizza in town. I had really high expectations going there, and I was imagining that it wouldn’t be as good as all the reviews imply. As soon as we went into the restaurant, the delicious smell of pizza filled my lungs, the old-fashioned decor added to a very heart-welcoming atmosphere. The place was completely packed. As I looked at all the patrons enjoying their pizza, I started doubting my predisposed thoughts. We ordered as quickly as possible, and as we waited for the pizzas my over-excitement mixed with anticipation and enthusiasm went through the roof. The pizzas arrived, here goes the first bite… the moment of truth: Pure bliss! Thin dough, with little burns from the wood oven. Delicious! Good quality of toppings, fresh melted cheese and amazing ingredient pairings. Every single element in the pizza was in an impeccable harmony. It truly was an ecstatic experience. If you happen to be in Boston, this is THE PLACE to go to if you love pizza. Entirely worth the wait!
Isabelle Encela
So delicious. Had the anchovy pizza and it was a bit salty but so delicious. We paired it w the classic pizza with ricotta and its creaminess went well with the salty anchovies. Wonderful service. We went at 9 and didnt have to wait for a table. But we also went during a blizzard.
Junsik Choi
the best pizza ever. i recommend giambotta and classico if you are not a vegan/vegeterian. so fresh and every ingredient is like blessed in my mouth. although i only tried a few menus so far, i bet every single item there is more than just good.
Tc Anderson
Worth the wait. You are not seated here until all party is present. Small wait. Pizza pilaf seasoning on table was good. First timer.
Aryan mobiny (OneOfYou)
Old style Italian pizza. We went there at 11:30 pm and the whole Italian neighborhood was alive and awsome :) Finding parking is tough. We parked in cross street at parkometers and walked for 5 minutes to get there. We got our order quite fast and the service and price was reasonable. Wish I could go there again some time soon ;) Don't forget to get some dessert from neighborhood Italian stores.
Marianne McCarthy
My absolutely favorite place for pizza! I've been coming here since I was young. Now my children are also huge fans! We never come to Boston without a visit to Regina's. Tonight, not only did we have an amazing pizza, we also got up close & personal to the World Series trophy! Couldn't ask for anything more!!
Ramin Akhbari
It was absolutely superb pizza. Well worth the 1/2 the wait to get in. Best pizza crust I've ever tasted. I can see why this place is as busy as it is. You won't be disappointed.
Robyn Bunch
Ordered the #18, it was alright. Heavy on the cheese and peppers so much so that it fell apart trying to eat it. I enjoyed the sauce in the pizza. The service was sparse at the beginning (showed up around 5:30), but genuine. They care that you enjoy your pizza.
Lorelai Young
The pizza was delicious; worth the walk and the wait. The owner, who is 4th or 5th generation, and staff are super friendly and care about their customers. You can tell the some are like family.
Charles Plamondon
Definitely a must if you visit Boston! Even if the queue goes to the corner of Endicott St, you should have a seat in less than 30-40 minutes. This Pizzeria offers a real Italian style pizza. The decor is a little vintage and you have to eat in carton/plastic dishes, but it is so yummy that you will quickly forget this. I definitely recommend this place!
Francisco Companioni
Best pizza in Boston from my experience. Def worth the trip and the wait in line. Classic cheese pie was perfect a little well done and paired with the spicy oil it's amazing!
Cecile Lindell
Friendly people, great service AND incredibly yummy pizza! It’s great, still as good in 2022 as it was in 1976, the first time I went.
Radoslav Parvanov
Staff was really friendly except the door guy who I guess was just tired of people. The food was awesome, pizzas were huge, you can see both the 10" and 16" on the photo. The beverages option was nice, you can get a glass or a pitcher as an option. The place is always packed, service was quick. Overall the experience was awesome and we almost couldn't leave after the feast :D
David Maunder
Had a pepperoni slice. Flavorful but greasy as f! Had to tip it to drain it first. Lol.. not the best I've had but this place was dubbed best in Boston from a Google search so I had to try.
I was gonna give it 3 stars but they've been at it since 1926 apparently so I'll give it 4 stars for that reason alone.. maybe it was because I went there late, (10 minutes before closing time) who knows?
Israel Guillen
The best brick Pizza in town. We had expectations going there, As soon as we went earlier saw a line to come into the restaurant, at the street the delicious smell of pizza filled the air around us, the old-fashioned and patch’s, photos decor added to a welcoming atmosphere. The place was completely crowd, is small place but nice. I looked at all the patrons enjoying their pizza, not body speak, The pizzas arrived, and my grandson star to eat the pizza, our pizza was Thin dough, with little burns from the brick oven. Capriciosa and classic was Delicious! Good quality of toppings, very fresh melted cheese , the anchovies and amazing ingredient. you visited Boston, this is Regina place is your place for pizza brick.
Andrew Johnston
Old pizza parlor atmosphere. Fantastic crust. Had a simple cheese and sausage pizza. Maybe 3.5/5 instead of 4.
Carrie Perez
It's Regina's in the North end. Do we have to say anything else. Great pizza and fast service.
Brooke M
I was warned there would be a line. There was.
That said, you have to appreciate their system, especially for a small establishment.
We waited for approximately 40 minutes, but the conversation and the outside “entertainment” made it go by fast.
If you have a large group 4+, be prepared to wait longer (we didn’t but watched as a group of 7 had to).
Once seated, the service was fast. Drinks within a couple minutes, pizza within 15.
The smell of the fresh basil on the margherita pizza was delightful. The pizza came right out of the oven (HOT!) so proceed with caution - dont be silly and expect to immediately devour an entire slice. Be patient and enjoy!
-> they do accept credit cards
Rondo Longo
Always the best pizza for a great price. Serving pitchers of Narragansett beer helps wash a delicious pepperoni pizza down the gullet. One of the few places where the food and drink is worth the wait outside to get in.
Audra D
Everyone kept telling us we HAD to try Regina Pizzeria when we visited Boston. Well, we got impossibly lost and I believe we truly walked in circles for 2 hours trying to find it. When we finally found it and collapsed in our seats, I wasn't even hungry. UNTIL the pizza came. Holy moley, it is everything people claim it to be. Absolutely incredible. So, here I go: you can't go to Boston and not visit Regina Pizzeria. Trust me.
Matthew Snook
The best Regina Pizzeria location. Sat at the bar and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Bartender was very friendly and personable. It was busy at the time so my pizza took about 25 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. I look forward to coming back.
Shamica Lott
I was impressed and full. We ate the entire pizza but we were supposed to bring some back to the hotel. It didn’t make it back. Delicious... hats off to the entire staff.
Mohammed A
One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life, if you love a saucy Pizza this is the place
Sergio Del Rio
Definitely the best Pizza not found in Italy! It was amazing with a crispy crust. Highly recommended!
Christian Adams
Decent pizza. Didn’t understand the high praise as it was recommended. I’ve been to a few other places in town and for the price i’d much rather go elsewhere. Lots of options, maybe it was just a bad batch.
Samuel Watson
Wasn’t too crowded on a cold Monday night in December, so my girlfriend and I decided to try out a Boston original. The pies are brick fired which give them a nice crispy bite and smoky aftertaste. Service could have been a little better, especially as we were seated directly next to the servers station
Placido Santos
Went on a snowy day and the cozy ambiance was perfect. Very tasty brick oven pizza. I recommend the spinach and broccoli as it is very tasty.
Nancy ndb
Wow, absolutely fantastic pizza.
Its a small establishment with 10 or so booths and 6 or 8 seats at a small bar. Arrived about 1:30pm, so I missed the rush. I was walking and passed numerous people with takeout from here. I grabbed the one free seat at the bar, though there were a few tables free.
Was offered a menu, but decided to get the bacon and onion slice that was on the chalkboard. It was quick, huge and delicious. Had to have another. I did just finish climbing the Bunker Hill Monument, so I needed the calories.
Super price as well. Two sam adams, 2 very large slices was under $20.
Very tiny bathroom, definitely not accessible.
Daniel Puche
Authentic Bostonian pizza. It's so good that we ate twice in 24 hrs. Cheese pizza 🍕 it's the best. …
Craig McKay
Did you say PIZZA? If so, then this is your place. Located in the heart of Little Italy, Regina's servers nothing but pizza...no salads, no antipasto, no calamari...just pizza and beer; There's nothing fancy about this place, but there's almost always a line out the door. If you want a slice of the pie, then this is the place. And if you're busy? Call ahead and get take-out.
Matthew Boehm
This pizza reminds me of home. The flavors scream pizza pizza pizza. The slices are a little smaller than I'm used to, but the flavors are just freaking fantastic. The ingredients taste fresh and slices are made at order, you can definitely tell the difference, the wait is slightly longer, but it's well worth it. Clearly there is a reason this pizza place is so popular in Boston and why there is usually a line out the door. I'd be proud to share this with friends, and even brag about it. When you enjoy the regular slice more than a slice with toppings, you know right there... This is damn good pizza
Lynnett Burroughs
Absolutely worth the wait! When in Boston you must visit Regina’s! The North District of Boston is full of life and busy. Regina’s is right in the middle of all of the action. We waited in line for less than 10 minutes and the line was half way down the block! The Margaritas Pizza was Awesome and so was the All Meat Pizza. Delicious and satisfying.
Heath Beske
This place is a must visit. Plan on a short wait. Pizza is the "go-to". The best around
Woody Jerry
As visitors from New York City, we had a high standard for pizza, and this business exceeded our expectations. They are really busy and fast-paced, but they look after you. I like the atmosphere and the size of the room. And the pizza was fantastic! Stopping in for a quick bite is highly recommended.
Zachary Herb
This is the original location for what has become a Boston icon, and the reputation is earned. It’s a no frills spot serving only phenomenal classic Italian pies and affordable beer and wine. The recipe hasn’t apparently changed since they opened, but the menu is packed with a variety of flavor combinations.
We went with Old World Style Anchovy which layers anchovies, capers, fresh garlic and herbs, and Pecorino Romano cheese on a perfectly crispy brick oven crust. However, anything on this menu would do. Have to check this place out, but do anticipate a wait.
Mandy Liao
Even though there was a line before the lunch rush, we didn't have to wait too long! We ordered the summer special with their garlic sauce. I'm a huge fan of white sauce pizza so this was delicious to me!
Elizabeth Stumpf
Best Pizza in Boston!! Absolutely worth the wait. The crust is thin and crunchy, the meats and vegetables are super fresh. A must do if visiting Boston. Below see our favorite , Canadian bacon and half sausage and mushroom. MAMA MIA❤❤❤
Matt Boyajian
The best pizza ever. Absolutely must try their cheese pizza. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. So good. Small little place that's usually busy but it's always worth the wait.
Adam Palmer
Came here at 11 PM on a Saturday night after hitting up some bars with friends. It's an old school Italian place with people working there who have the exact accents you would expect people working at a North End pizza joint to have.
The place was relatively busy with both people dining in and taking out. They offer cheese and pepperoni pizza by the slice so my friends got that but I wanted the real Regina's experience so a friend and I shared a 10" Giambota which had pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, and peppers (basically a supreme). It was more than enough for two of us. It looked great (see the attached pic) and the crust was both chewy and crusty but I was a little disappointed by how watery the sauce was and how the toppings were falling off the pizza when it was cut into slices. For a place as highly-regarded as Regina's I expected more. I would still come back for a late night slice in the North End.
laura olson
My family went to Regina's every summer when we visited family in Boston. My family today loves it, too. It's tiny, it's old school, and it is delicious. Thanks for bringing back some of my favorite childhood memories! My advice: if the line is long (and it usually is), place a take out order and walk over to Bova bakery for dessert.
Khoi Vo
Fantastic, no-frills pizzeria. Amazingly fresh toppings. Recommend to try all of their pizzas. Get a spicy oil to dunk the crust in ... You can't go wrong!
CG
Amazing pie!! Loved the sausage one and pepperoni they’re all amazing and huge slices. Not too greasy just right.
S PJ
Went here for dining years back and service was horrible. Later we found out that that was part of the Regina experience...
Recently stopped by for take out. Ordered a 16” pizza and we thought is was ok. A lot of dough. Sauce and toppings were good.
Michael Mazza
My FAVORITE pizza place. Had it twice during my last trip to Boston.
Buffalo chicken pie was amazing.
Always stop here when I'm in the area. Definitely worth the wait.
Mark Quintanilla
Some of THE best pizza if the the best I've eaten. Toppings were all great Nd the crust was fabulous.
Edward Roske
33 minute wait outside to get in for lunch (for two people) but pizza was very tasty! Four stars (versus five) is not for the wait but rather for how close everyone is. Our faces were about 18” from the next people over (one of whom was a cougher). My advice: order takeout and eat it on the curb outside. Delicious pizza in the “fresh” open air!
Chrystian Guy
Perfect classic pizza place with authentic italian recipes. Store is decorated with police badges from around the World. Service is casual. Portions are very honest.
Larry Cummings
Great place great pizza ....very small locations but still had a great time
Terrence Cronin
Simple but great pizza. A nice crust that never got soggy, flavorful sauce, and awesome toppings. The only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars is because the waitress didn't even know what garlic knots are. They only make pizza so don't expect a full Italian experience.

Best pizza I've ever had. I got lucky and went on a rainy Monday and was able to walk in and immediately sit at the bar. Stevie was a real character and welcomed me with open arms. Would definitely come back!
John Wendeborn
Only been here once, but I was very pleased. Everything about the pizza was great (dough, cheese, sauce, meat), which is all I can ask for. I would make sure to come early though, to avoid the big lines. It's great, but not worth waiting an hour or more for, especially when there are other great places around here.
Joel Van Hooser
Best Pizza I've had in a long time. The coal char on it makes it so much better! The sausage was the best!
David Muscato
Stop at Regina's every time we visit Boston. A North End classic. Absolutely the best pizza!!
Bren S
Omg best pizza ever!! So worth the walk or uber.. No real parking available.
Rose Vincent
Visited this on vacation and it was one of the best Italian joints we have been too!
Heather Pack
So glad we stopped to eat here. My son and I each ordered a 10” because we can’t agree on toppings. The toppings are plentiful and huge making it a full meal after one or two slices. Looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow.
Logan S
Fantastic pizza, with a long wait, but good service and great food. They only make pizza, so no breadsticks or anything else but they sure make fantastic pizza for a good price.
William Feliciano
They have a special recipe for the dough very unique I love the anchovie piza
Paul Mongin
Extremely tasty pizza in a very character full neighborhood. It feels a lot less touristy than most restaurants, but the service and the food were great.
Levi Gain
Good pizza! Service was OK. I would recommend because of the cool atmosphere!!
Jose Escobar
What a slice of heaven this pizza was!! That is what I call pizza, what else to say!! When a pizza place has been open since the early 1900's they know what they are doing!! Reginas is top of the top of best pizza I have had, cant wait to go back to Boston and stop here again.
yeonsu chung
It's my style pizza, not that thick but has a lot of flavor!!! Though i had to wait about 10 minutes the tasty was really 👍! But you have to know that it's a bit salty. …
Srinivas Iyer
One of my favorite places in Boston. Excellent pizzas. Usually very crowded on weekends have to wait in a line outside but its worth it.
Dana Stanley
Still the best pizza after 30 yrs and still exactly the same. But I do have to say the wait staff and manger were extremely friendly
Roger *
Had to wait in line which I hate, but def ended up being worth it. Great service and awesome pizza! Def one of my favorites in Boston.
larry stokes
So I live on the Central coast and I'm a huge Patriots fan. Goat for life..Let's Gooooooooo!!!!! I took my son to Boston and while I was there I asked every Bostonian or Bostonite where can I get the best pizza. Everyone I spoke to told me to go to Regina's. Best thin crust pizza you'll get hands down. (In a Northside Boston Accent) talk about speaking the truth.. that was the best darn thin crust pizza I've had in my life. The sauce and some type of oil they used on the crust blew me away. the condiments were so fresh. I knew I was in for a treat because we had to wait about a half hour just to get into the place and it was worth it. When you look on the walls there's pictures of all kinds of actors athletes Stars that have been to that place. After you eat there you'll understand why because their Pizza is off the planet good. You can tell it's an old pizzeria when you get a really good home style family feeling when you're in their dining. You will not be disappointed or at least your mouth will not be disappointed and all the flavor coming off those slices of pizza. I would recommend this whenever you can get a piece of it. Thank you Regina for the great pizza and kind service.. Boston I love you!!!
christopher copeland
absolutely the best place for pizza in Boston Great beer, great service, great food! Im from california and when im in boston this is a hands down mandatory stop for me. Whether you're dining in or taking out you will never be disappointed.
Mitch L
Very good for a local tourist trap, great staff and very efficient in handling lines. Would definitely go back and wait on line.
Emma Carson
A good slice and cute place! But, Boston isn’t known for its pizza for a reason. Try something else and visit New York for your pizza dreams :)
Archana Sondhi
Good pizza. But I think their quality is not as good as it used to be.
Matthew Valentinas
Some of the best pizza in Boston if not the country. I recommend ordering online and picking-up on the weekend because there is always a line out the door. If you want to savor the experience going on a weekday around lunchtime might be the best time.
Ray McMullen
Best pizza in the whole world. No wonder they've been around so long. Service was outstanding. Can't wait to go again
Seven Sisters
Pizza is Boston is going to be the death of me, I can feel myself getting fatter thinking of it ... This is hands down the best pizza in the city! If you're near Fenway, do yourself a favor and grab a slice or two or a pie don't share!
Andrew Rosato
Can't beat the classic cheese here! No reservations, first come first serve seating. They will not seat you if you're whole party has not arrived.
Cesar Sasaki
great pizza! One of the best I had in US. prices are affordable and the service is great.
Katie Kiefer
About half way through, my husband looked at me and said, "I think this is the best pizza I've ever had." I 100% agreed. There wasn't anything flashy about it, just every component was perfect and it was all soooooo tasty. It also felt like a true North End experience. Plan to wait for a table. If you love pizza (or even just like it), you won't be disappointed.
Damien Green
Heard it was the best pizza and they did not disappoint. Visit this location though if you want that authentic taste.
Joel Pinson
Visiting Boston for the first time and read great reviews on this place. It’s definitely worth a visit. Right in the heart of South Boston, just minutes from the Quincy Market, Boston Public Market, Boston Commons and much more. You can’t miss the red lettered sign as you drive down Thatcher St. Get ready to enjoy the experience at this almost 100 year old pizza joint. The walls are covered with all things Boston and famous people. The service was fast and the pizza fresh! I don’t think you can go wrong with any pizza from here. I tried the margherita pizza but other people that I was with loved their choice too!
Jason Vorhees
Even with long lines they get you in quick, and with great pizza! Dining indoors can be tight on space but worth it.
Gonzo
Had the Giabotta I think it was called... Very good, probably would've been better without the green peppers but that's personal taste. They serve alcohol too so it's worth going to.
Anh Le
Quaint little location. Fast pizza. Plenty of toppings. Cooked well. Authentic flavors. Would go to again if in town.
John Morgan
Nice staff and great pizza. Highly recommend! Pictured is #29. Also got a plain cheese pizza.
Alban Zekthi
One of the best pizzas, if not the best pizza, I've ever had. Whenever I come to Boston, I make it a point to visit Regina, and only the original Regina. Avoid the long, long lines on the weekends and come during the weekdays! You won't be disappointed!
Ayse Nisa
World’s the nost delicious pizza ever !!! Try margarita it’s the best !!! Yumm😋
David Shankland
Fantastic pizza with some amazing toppings (if a little sloppy). Service was just OK nothing more
Kelly Chan
Last I was here it was about 3 years ago, I remember the pizza to be better, but still good
Stephen Higgs
Best Pizza hands down in Boston. Line out the door at 2:30 testifies how great this place is.
Brandon Eash
Real deal, off the beaten Hanover St. Path. North End Pizzeria. No frills. Just order the pepperoni pizza and a glass of the house red which is served in a water glass. Always a line but they are paying keen attention and you get in fast. You won't be disappointed.
santi hernando
There are two main famous Pizzeria's in North End. Together with Ernesto's the Regina's Pizzeria are those where everybody think about when a slide of pizza goes around of your mind. Both have super fast service (maybe Ernesto's could be faster since is a smaller business) and the pizzas are really great both. The pizza itself has more forcefulness in Reginas.. they do not scrimp in ingredients... sure you will have full ingredients in your slide. About the dough I particularly preference the ones in Ernesto's cause is thin but I admit that this could be because it has similarity with the one I ate when I grow up. In Brief, if you want to sit down Regina's pace is so cool though and with a particular and warm atmosphere. However Regina's is perfect for slice to go as they are bigger. Love both so try by yourself and see if you can pick one! Cheers!
Ravi Parmar
Great pizza. Great topings and very filling. Crispy base and crust too. Get there early because there tends to be a queue outside the door for a table.
Trent Nutter
Extremely good pizza and an a great experience. We sat at the bar and got to experience the true culture of Regina's.
Micheal B
Homemade wine served in a beer glass, paper plates, downscale diner atmosphere, and amazing pizza. I loved everything about this place and the experience.
Michael Crutcher
Trip Advisor cites this as the country's best pizzeria. I'm inclined to agree. Worth the wait in line. A bit crowded, but you can't beat the food, the waitstaff, and the loud, lovely atmosphere.
Dave Sill
Awesome pizza in a nearly 100-year-old location. Thin, crunchy crust. Excellent sauce, cheese and toppings.
Braydon Wilson
Simply the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Be sure to leave yourself some time though, small location and there can be a long line.
Gili Gordon
Great pizza! One of the best I ever ate! Trillions of toppings and great service!
Dan Gibson
Worth the wait and if you can sit at the bar to watch the chaos. On the night we went, a baby was baptized by the waitress. This place does it all and they hustle!
The food is excellent and so is the staff! We had a great time!
Gregg Caplitz
Still in my opinion the best pizza in Boston. The classic thin crispy crust from the this the original location is still amazing. Don't come here for the ambience or service. The pizza is the story and worth the trip.
Michael Chan
Pizza is decent, but I have definitely had better. The long lines are uncalled for in my opinion.
Jacob Schwichtenberg
Most Amazing pizza I have had in a very long time! Best in Boston!! Can't wait for more!
Jackie Times
Perfect cheese pizza, perfect ice cold beer served in frozen cups. The bartender she is fantastic, nice and capricious!
katy smith
Awesome pizza!! Definitely try the spicy oil!! I have only one downside. The last time I picked up a pizza it was burnt so check it before you leave if you order togo.
Jason Barney
Classic and delicious! You haven't had real pizza until you've been here. They've been making pizza since before pizza was pizza!
Katie Dittman
We swung by Regina's after a Pats game. Smelled great, tasted better. I thought there was no way we could eat a large in one sitting, think again. We are every single slice! Great sauce, awesome ingredients, but for me, the star was the crust! Delicious crust.
LynLyn
Great pizza but the person who cuts the pizza and finishes them off doesn't wear gloves. Which would be fine if they only touched food, however, i routinely see them helping out the servers and even the busser then back to the food without washing their hands. Unfortunately every time ive been there (which is a lot) I've seen this happen.
Also, the bathrooms are extremely tiny.
Scott Satinover
Top tier pies here. The crust is remarkably crackly, and that red pizza sauce has great yet simple flavor. Get the pizza however you want, it's almost impossible to screw up.
If you do go here on a busy day, make sure your entire group has arrived. They won't seat your table if everyone in the party isn't there yet. I don't blame them for doing it either, they've got hungry customers to feed!
Bill Bonilla Jr.
Best pizza I've had in the last 15 years! I recommend this pizzeria to all who visit Boston.
Sean McGowan
Deserves 10. Been going for years on every visit to Boston without fail. Best experience. Gruff but tasty and the Sam Adam's pitcher goes perfectly. Keep the pizza simple and for God's sake dine in! It's a quintessential Boston experience.
Julian Berliner
Amazing pizza, although avoid raw peppers. We got the giambotta and the bell peppers were suer watery and it made the crust soggy
Ana Berk
I c as n have their pizza everyday. The service is great, fast and easy. Their pizza is D E L I C I O U S !
Benjamin Souther
Best Pizza in my life. Sorry NYC
Allie Lemons
Delicious pizza. Highly recommend eating it there. Friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere. Hands done the best pizza in Boston. Next time I hope to order one of their speciality pizzas, they looked delicious.
Kristtyan Romero
Solid choice for pizza, not overly greasy, the ingredients are fresh, and customer service was great.
Michael Humble
This is one of the best pizza places I have ever eaten ....north east Boston will eT there agin when I. Boston.wow
S C
I didn't realize this was a chain until posting this review. Place was packed, but service was quick and good. Pizza was so good! Will definitely return on our next visit.
Jennifer Hirschi
This pizza was SO GOOD! Quick service! We were seated outside right away. We will be back again!
Bepi Mello
Absolutely best pizza!! We went to the original location and it was a small atmosphere but busy. Definitely a must when you are in Boston.
Donna Gallinaro
Crowed and small however got a neopolitian pizza and added chicken, well done (nice and crunchy) was delicious. Get a combo the plain cheese looked average.
Sydney Rondello
Oh my word - the best pizza in Boston! We had it delivered to our hotel room and it was still amazing!
Cristina Casas Avilés
We had to wait for 20 minutes outdoor but it really worth. Nice place, really good pizza and cheap...
Dan Jacobs
These guys are great and always accommodating. I walked in unknowingly at close last time and they ended up giving me a slice pie for free because the kitchen was closed and cleaned. It wasn't super fresh but it was delicious and free. Winner for me!
Craig Rhee
Amazing brick oven pizza, very similar to a NYC slice, thin and delicious! I usually just eat the cheese but the shrimp scampi was amazing.
Mary Pat Rhodes
Well worth the wait, in the cold! The pizza crust was spot on nice crispy crust. The service was great. The staff kept it moving. Waited a long time for a good (real) pizza (from Florida) and this did not disappoint.
Sadi Henry
The wait is long but well worth it, the pizza is amazing . Would have been 5 star but the service wasn't to great.
Terry Gent
Lucked out when looking for food and saw the number of reviews on this place! Long line up to get into the original location and oldest pizzeria in Boston. Well worth the wait for such an amazing experience!
George Babalis
Great pizza in an original old school atmosphere. Be prepared to wait in line.
Colt Hinchman
Best pizza I’ve had in my life. Unreal experience. Mind blowing. Worth any wait.
Blake Bethany
Very busy but very good service and pizza. We found that anything you get will be good. Fair wine prices.

Been away for too long...nothing like a Regina's pepperoni pizza and a pitcher of beer. The best!
Bryan Hubbard
Absolutely wonderful pizza. Great staff. Cozy place to eat. Highly recommend.
teresakchavez
Pizza and service were both great!! Can't wait to be able to go back and eat there again.
Adrian Bona
Good Lord! What a pizza! Of course the treatment is pretty Italian, once you have eaten they want you out of the place. But pizza was exquisite
Nimrod Shani
Best pizza I have ever eaten
Pepperoni- 10/10 great spiciness
Mozzarella- 10/10 sticky and elastic
Souce- 10/10 strong with a kik
Bread-10/10 fantastic. Strong. You can feel the old oven in every bite.
John Juices
Best pizzeria I've been to in the Boston area whatsoever. So good. Basically my friend took me here and it was raining and I was SO hungry and had to wait SO long, and at one point I said like "if I had known I had to wait this long I would never have even moved here!!!" but then suddenly we were let in, and we had a HUGE amazing feast, and then I thought it was SO meaningful and it wouldn't have been the same without the whole experience! This place is so unique and awesome, a can't-miss Boston staple.
Jonathan Spencer
I haven't even tried the pizza yet, but the soda fountain is perfectly calibrated, and they gave us an entire pitcher of water for two people, and that means a lot in my book. UPDATE: The pizza was great. Get something with fresh garlic.
Imran Atique
Got the name of this restaurant on the article for best 50 foods and it was quite true....the line outside this pizzeria was so long...so we had to order a take out, we went for the regular cheese slice as that was only thing ready but even that was pretty good. Would love to come back and try their best
Mike Finley
Literally the best pizza I've had! Fast service an little pizzeria but the wait is most certainly worth it.
Kevin Palm
Amazing pizza delivered in an old school pizzeria off the beaten path in the North End. Attentive service and beers on tap! And know there is only pizza on the menu. It's all in the crust, sauce and cheese...
Russell Tompkins
This is some of the best pizza that I've ever had and I grew up in New Jersey. You have four choices on how you want to have the crust cooked and the sauce and toppings were phenomenal. Friendly service and fairly priced. Highly recommend.
Sushi Sue
This place is like a NY pizza joint: dark, outdated furnishings, no-nonsense service, tiny single bathroom, and a menu full of pies. Don’t come here expecting great hospitality or to be treated special - there’s almost always a wait and when you’re seated it’s business through and through. The pizza itself is good, but a little dry in the crust whereas the sauce is runny (a weird combo). Still, worth checking out especially since it’s the official pizza of the Red Sox. One 16” pie comfortably fed a family of three.
Alex Shapiro
The pizza is good but nothing you can't find in many other similar places. The service, on the other hand, is subpar. First I was seated at the table where no one bothered to take my order. Then, I moved to the bar where the bartender, old lady Pat something, could use an attitude refresher. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
Olden yz
Small place, the bathroom was like a phone booth. Anyway, we got there early but parking was brutal but some very nice lady sweeping outside her apt along with a her neighbor (nice guy) helped me squeeze into a spot the size of my car in front of her apt- so, thank you both, very sweet!
We ordered the 2 root beers in a bottle which were delicious and the pizza which didn't take long. We were starving so dug in but after a slice I noticed alot of the bottoms were charred black on more than half the slice so when the server asked how it was I said a bit burnt I'm sure i can't eat some of this and my daughter agreed so she brought us a whole new pie not "well done" it was delicious. I realize they are busy but maybe turn down the heat a little? 4 stars for the service, the fantastic neighbors and the 2nd pie.
Alex Rapp
Most amazing pizza in Boston hands down. The most crispy and flavorful crust and their toppings are the freshest around.
Sarah Pendleton
I only eat pizza once a year on 12/31! Super good 👌 …
Christopher Connor's
Love this place! I use to come here with my kids before we hit Fenway. The pizza is definitely the best I've ever had. The sauce is amazing as is the toppings. Thanks Regina's you're the best!
Christina Morris
This is a do not miss when you come to boston. I've been coming here my whole life. The pizza is absolutely mouthwateringly delicious! I love that they have the outdoor seating now as well. I've been eating this pizza for 30 years and it's been around for even longer. They definitely know what they are doing! Plus it's such a Boston icon that you've got to make your way down to the North End and check this place out!
Lois Martin
One of the best pizzas I've ever had! We ordered a Mediterranean, light on the feta, well done. It was perfect. We arrived when they opened and it was full within an hour. Friendly staff with loads of personality.
Jeffrey Mead
The pizza is generally good at any Regina Pizzeria outlet, but the pizza at the original location is the best by far. The pizza comes out with a better char and a crispier crust. Plan your visit accordingly to avoid waiting too long, but even so the pizza makes it worth the wait. If you're going to the North End and want pizza, this is THE spot to visit in Boston.
Tom O'Hara
Great atmosphere and awesome tradition. Pizza was extremely underwhelming. All three pies were undercooked, over-cheesed, and lacked flavor. We were so excited to come in and were disappointed. We even ordered an extra pizza at the end of the meal to give it another shot, but once again we were underwhelmed.
HeroicMelon (ChipSkylark)
Best pizza I ever had! Worth the 1 hour wait.
Jessi Gower
There's a reason there's a line out the door. Margherita pizza was so tasty. Definitely worth the wait and one of the best pizzas I've had.
Ronald Lim
One of the best pizzas I have ever had!
Andrea Tischendorf
Thin slices, think mine might have been reheated from earlier. Greasy. Great crust though.
Jiten Doshi
Nice place. Pizza was not the best I had but a decent one.
Allison LeBlanc
Hands down BEST PIZZA I ever ate. The crust is the kicker. Crispy enough to stay crisp even after sitting in the box for hours but thick enough to hold toppings and be a little chewy. LOVE THIS PLACE.
Mark Dodge
The pizza lived up to the reputation, great pizza. What's more is the staff is amazing. Best experience I've had in a long time. Great, great place.
Gabriele Manganaro
Iconic pizza place in Boston. Classic Italian American pizza. Friendly staff. Very lively hang out.
C
Pizza wasn’t anything special. I’m from NYC so don’t know if I should be comparing, but there wasn’t anything special about the sauce. The cheese was whatever. The crust was good. But the attitudes of the employees working there? Horrible. Every interaction with them is drenched with attitude. They give looks behind customer’s backs. Extremely condescending. Wouldn’t come back here honestly. The pizza wasn’t worth the disrespect we received.
Jordan Hakes
Delicious and authentic pizza in the heart of the North End. Doesn't get much better than this. As an added bonus they've got gluten-free pies that are just as good as the regular ones. Can't wait to go back.
Clayton Toebben
Some of the best pizza I ever had. Quick service and affordable prices.
Mildred Brown
The best pizza I have ever had! Hands down! Would love to have a location northern Massachusetts. I would absolutely love to be a part of making this happen up here in Newburyport! You would blow the other pizza places out of this town for sure! Love love love your pizza!
Amit Jalan
Quite a fun, low-key place. Really loved our pizza. Personally rating it lower because of decor choice of cop badges and really hands-off style of service. Our waitress maybe spoke 10 total words.
Allen Smith
Well the day has finally come, never thought I would find a better pizza than Mr. Pizza in Rochester, MN. It was a solid 9.1 but we have a new leader in the clubhouse. With a score of 9.4 Regina's of North Boston is the numero uno, top dog, A #1. Spectacular pizza, crust, toppings, sauce, were all better than average. Nice job Reginas.
Jewel Brock
We went to the original Regina's Pizza! The number one pizza in America. We were worried it was all hype from fame but I kid you not, it was a total game changer! I will never look at pizza the same way again in my life 🤤🤤🤤🤤 It had the gooiest, softest, most fresh and flavorful toppings with such a soft crust with a tiny bit of crunch on the crispy outside layor. Best pizza we have ever had in our entire life. They definitely deserve their fame!! 🍕
dumb
First time trying their pizza and it was amazing! I loved the crust!
EKK
Great food but the wait staff are not friendly. Avoid busy hours. There was a long wait.
Jacob Evans
Amazing. Best pizza I have ever had, and I have had a lot of different kinds/styles of pizza. The Today show just rated Regina Pizzeria the best pizza in America, I agree.
Caesar Alarcon
Great conversations. Great pizza and good wine.
Paul Pryor
Awesome pizza and a place you gotta visit when in Boston
Jack Phillips
A must if you are near! Only eat at this location. Arrive early and make sure you entire group is with you. The pizza is amazing! The service is good if you don't mind the occasional rude person. This is a experience for North End Boston.
Stephanie Layson
This downtown location was highly recommended. It is no exaggeration when I say “this is the best pizza I have ever eaten!”
Lloyd Christmas
This is by far the best pizza I have ever had in my life and it is killing me that I don't travel there for work anymore. The crust is thin but sturdy and has the best texture- soft, chewy, fluffy, thin all at the same time somehow. I always got the pepperoni and it was so good that I am unable to properly express to you how delicious this pizza was. If you are in the area at all, you must get yourself there to enjoy some fantastic pizza.
Andrew Ruthenbeck
Our favorite Boston pizza place, the service and ambiance at this location are unmatched.
Noah Benson
Best pizza I've ever had. After spending time in NYC and trying most of the famous places there, nothing was better than the pizza at Regina north end - it's amazing. Also, the staff are very friendly and the service is great.
Rowdy Spoerl
Our pizza was excellent and our service was some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. But it was clearly bad luck, because everyone else’s server seemed much more attentive to their job. I’d come back any day of the year, I just wouldn’t sit with that server ever again. As long as you avoid them you’re looking at some of the best pizza on some of the best crust around.
Rafael Blanca
Mmmmmm. So good!!
Matt Bruno
Fantastic pizza! Crispy crust and stuffed with toppings! Definitely will be back next time in town.
Meagan Bender
The pizza was fantastic! And this was just the sort of cozy eatery I was hoping for in a trip to New England. There was a wait time, but definitely worth it! I love being able to order by the slice. And I absolutely loved all the autographed celebrity photos covering the walls. Highly recommend coming to the location!
Grisha Suquet Unkind
Pizza was delicious, great service. Didn't like plastic forks and plates
silva kazandjian
That place was packed, we ordered and waited outside about 20 minutes it was worth the wait.
Jacob Simmons
Must have pizza. Crust, cheese, and toppings combine for some excellent pizza.
Michael Ford
This is the best pizza I've ever tasted. We ordered a large cheese, well done. The sauce was great. The cheese was really good. And that crispy crust with a few just barely burnt spots was perfect. Make sure you ask for Louie juice. That concoction of butter and herbs and spices was amazing on top of the pizza. Bottle that and sell it!

Throwback picture @ Regina Pizzeria
Nice Pizza
Dated 22nd May 2012
Jason Crews
This place has the absolute best pizza in the world. My only regret was not remembering to get our waitresses name. She made the experience completely over the top with perfection. Friendly, gracious, and so helpful. She made it feel like home with her hospitality.
I would highly recommend this remarkable pizza establishment to anyone close enough to visit and will while heartedly be dining here again my next time through.
MIKE
Amazing brick oven white pizza. Love the old style booths and memorabilia/photos on the walls.
Sean Westgate
This is the original Pizzeria Regina. We used to come to the North End to buy fireworks when I was a kid and we would always get slice of pizza from Regina's if we had enough money on us. Then as we got older we would come to a long since gone video game arcade by the North Washington Street bridge and we would get a slice when we could. Now I only get down here from time to time but it is always so nice to go to the same place I have gone to for 40+ years. It is always just as good as it was that first time!
Amanda Bowers
Amazing pizza - perfect crust, epic sauce, quality cheese, great well done and easy to request on their online ordering platform - it's a must.
Eating in it's a small place but really so good...
Darren and Kathy Petersen
The BEST pizza ever! Great fast service!
Chris “BostonGreekGeek” Vaxevanis
I would say that this pizza is at best ok. Not worth waiting for and people tell me it gets busy. When we went we sat down right away but it took over 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table and they had 4 people working the tables outdoors. One was just for clearing tables but that means it should have been easier for the servers to do their jobs. I only day this cause I've worked as waiter at several places and they least amount of tables I would have to work alone would be 10, and no one assisting in cleaning the tables. So overall not a great experience. Food ok, service slow, not a place I would want to go back to.
Tim Fava
They are wonderful and so is their pizza!!!! Me, my husband and 6 kids go there whenever we're in Boston. Thank you for your great service and food.
Sebastiano
Well worth the challenge of finding a spot and avoiding a ticket ha . Drove in from New York for a two night stay . Looked up Boston's best pizza joints Regina north end ranked one of the top scoring . I've had alot of pizza in New York nothing taste like Regina. Good job guys . Loved it .
Kaitlin Kelly
Absolutely the best pizza. I don't like tomato sauce , but I was told i had yo try and it is so good! I will be visiting everytime im in Boston!
Satya Gandham
The pizza here is incredible, the best Boston has to offer. The pizzeria has a warm, comforting, and rustic feel. The pizza matches that energy. My favorite is the Margherita, but I also recommend trying a pizza with the eggplant. If you’re in town, this place cannot be missed.
nishant narula
We were near downtown Boston and decided to give this place a try by seeing wide range of reviews. Since only 15 minutes left for the shop to be closed so we decided to do takeout for the pizzas we ordered. We ordered #23 10", #17 10" and #41 10". All the pizzas were great and freshly made. But the #17 pizza was little burnt from back and it had little black flavor.
Kelly Chabrier
Great pizza, worth the wait.
Philippe Wagner
Best pizzas ever...the place to be for the pizzas lovers....
Kevin Wormer
Honestly a fantastic, classic Italian pizza. You cannot go wrong with any order here.
Fair warning, it gets crowded here fast, and there is very little space to wait inside. The line forms outside on the sidewalk, and gets quite long very fast. For best luck to get in without a wait I've had to get here within 30 minutes of opening.
Even with a wait, I think the pizza is well worth it.
Blake Bears
The food is great love it I would recommend coming here
Pumbaslayer221
I get that this pizzeria is old and has been shown as the best in Boston and honestly it really isn't it's just normal pizza nothing special about it I'm surprised it's so over rated
Alon Mor
Plain pizza is good, i wouldn't recommend anything else
Parker Johnson
This definitely competes for some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. I visited Boston for the fourth of July with my family, and the locals highly recommended it to us. The staff was quick, skilled, and didn't mess around. This was likely due to the people waiting to be served, but they knew what they were doing. The pizza tasted excellent, with rich sauce and delicious buttery dough. I had a plain pizza with just cheese, which gave me solid insight to the basic ingredients they used. Overall, they made an excellent product with delicious dough, cheese, and sauce. All three were wonderful.
Michael Petko
Amazing pizza! Lots of choices in the area, but this is a must in Boston!
Bob Melchione
The greatest pizza of all time. It uses a oven that makes it perfect. A real bakers oven made over 100 years old. If you don't want to miss out on the best pizza in the world, you must go.
Susan Grady Foster
Delicious, and everything I wanted it to be. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Boston!
Chris K
Big portions- pizza is amazing! Definetely try this place if you visit Boston
San Zep
One of the best pizzas I ever had!
Ricardo Ribeiro Alves
This place has great pizza! The service was good and we got our food quickly as well, considering there were others who were awaiting their orders prior to us getting there. Prices are very reasonable for the size that you get. We would definitely go back!
Eric Haddad
Great pizza. A bit of a wait but was definitely worth it. The only seats available were at the bar and we engaged the bartender, Steve, in some lively discussion.
Giant pie, perfect crust. Got sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms and it was excellent.
Fresh beer on tap too. Will definitely be back.
Tony K
Regina's pizza is delicious! I was sceptical being from new york, but the pizza did not disappoint. The crust was crispy and sauce is delicious. I recommend keeping it simple with a plain slice or a topping or two to really enjoy the actual pizza not the toppings. I will definitely go back to regina's my next time in Boston.
Suraj Chawla
Pepperoni quality is far superior to nearby competitors, but personally, it isn't worth double the price. Very easy to see why they are so popular, it's a great pizza place!
Richie Pawlowski
Pizza was very good. Very good. Great? I can't say great. I like well done but ours was a little too well it ended up dry in certain spots. I'd obviously tell anyone I know to go because it's worth the experience. If I went again if ask for the pie to be pulled a little bit sooner from the oven. The staff was great. Really great. Awesome east coast attitude and swag with the customers all in good fun.
Jacqueline Schillinger
Delightful nook with excellent pizza and friendly service. High quality.
Nathan Cole
This place is great! We get spoiled with great quality pie in New England, if you know where to go. Yes, this is a Bostonian staple, but if you crave a good pie... then this is the place to be. What is hard to find is a great sauce and and nice crust, they have it here! For me.. a good pie consists of a great sauce and crust. However, they don't skimp on toppings, which are very fresh! Gotta' love it!
Scott Buttliere
Going to edit this just because. The staff here has treated me like family over the past year and I cannot be more grateful. Christina is the best person ever. Please visit on Thursdays or Sundays to experience her kindness. And I recommend the classic with the homemade ricotta, and their spicy oil. It's a godsend. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and I have never felt more at home than at my Italian families dinners.
Amazing pizza, great staff and atmosphere
Jeremy Floyd
We were visiting from out of town and our son researched the best pizza places in Boston. He was dead set on coming here, claiming it was supposed to be the best pizza place in the U.S. I was skeptical. Doubts resolved! Best pizza I've ever had!
Mike Raineri
Very good pizza. I had worked in Boston for years but had never went here. After reading that this was voted best pizza in the US my wife and I made a special trip into the North End to have lunch with some friends. Very good pizza with excellent service. I would say best pizza in Boston but I have had better on the South Shore. If in Boston and you want pizza, this is the place to go.
Bill Z
The best pizza ever. Nothing like the original Regina Pizzeria.
Thiago Oliveira
The original and still the best! Great pizza and beer for good prices. Also best coca cola I've ever had (I think they put extra syrup in the coca cola there!)
Take my advice and don't get a cheese pizza, get a specialty pizza. You know it's good there because there is always a line any time of day, rain or shine. I stood in line during a snow storm once.
Highly recommended .
Nathan Espinosa
If you don't know, you better ask somebody and get over here. The history tells you what you need to know but the apizza speaks for itself, very loudly! 🤌 …
Craig Perry
Made the stop in Boston specifically for Regina's Pizza. Well worth the extra miles and time. We had great food and strolled around to close by sights like The Old North Church and Paul Revere's house.
Karen York
Great pie! Crust was perfect, flavor was great toppings we're fresh and good quality.
JAYSON Mccollough
We stopped in on a Friday night in town, and decided to check this place out as it was hopping. We made the right choice as our choice was pizza. Our choice pizza for the night was the Large Pizzeria Special and it was wonderful, came out quick and hot, it was the perfect meal with a nice cold beer. If you are in town check it out, the pizza is great, and I suppose that the other Italian dishes are just as good and the portions are large.
Jeremy Bonikowske
We got a ten inch margarita pizza for takeout and it was amazing! A Boston police officer told us to go and check this place out!! We are glad we were able to chat with him! Some of the best tasting and flavorful pizza we've had! Definitely recommend it. Service was fast and staff was great!
Benny Sanchez
Great pizza spot in the north end. Small old and cozy spot. Excellent menu!
Sonja Dicken
This place makes awesome pizza! Large menu of classic, vegetarian, and meat pizza or choose own toppings. The crust is just wonderful- slightly crispy in places yet chewy. There was a line but it moves and the staff is friendly. Shannon our waitress made sure to make a quick connection with humor. Wish we had pizza like this at home
John Foley
Good pizza, but not the world's best. They use quality ingredients. We had artichoke hearts, pepperoni, and mushrooms on the pie. The mushrooms were really good. The pepperoni was lean and not fatty, good flavor, but a tad salty. The cheese was full cream, very good. I would say the crust was the weakness in this pie. They overburdened the crust with too much cheese and toppings, resulting in and undercooked center and overcooked outer. The center of the pie was soggy while the outer crust was slightly burnt. Overall, still a very good pie with generous quantities of toppings. I would rate the pie 8.5 on a 10 point scale.
Minimal beer selection here. The menu is almost fully dedicated to pizza. The dining area is small and cramped. Service was good and they manage the crowd well.
Mark Steele
Not too bad for American food. Still same old story focused on quantity rather than quality. But surprisingly the pizzas are quite good. Not great but good. You need to go to Australia or Italy for really good or great pizzas. Americans think it's great because it's not the usual poor almost uneadable food you get at most places.
Tareq Tayeh
Incredible pizzas; thin, soft, and delicious. The service was very lacking though.
Michael Barillot
Soooo good!!!! There is of course competition in the North End when it comes to who makes the best pizza...but I promise Regina will not disappoint!!! Authentic from the ingredients to the atmosphere that really feels so welcoming!!! The nostalgic photos and other items that decorate the interior...love it. Genuine to the core!!!
luca babici
Visiting from Toronto and being an Italian-Canadian absolutely loved this place!!! Expecting this to be a high end pizza place, perfect for a date? No chance lol. This place is a dive (in the perfect sense) and probably hasn't changed since it was opened but I wouldn't change a thing. This is no frills pizza at its finest. If you are visiting Boston and you want the true Italian pizza experience, this is a must see! I would recommend the personal size pizza, which you can certainly finish if you are hungry
Mel Rios
Fun spot with plenty of history. Tourist attraction so you may encounter a wait approaching peak meal times. I've always enjoyed their pizza but never been to this location. The pizza, waitress and atmosphere made up for the moron host being a jerk to everyone he was seating ("hurry up and sit at that table now", etc). I will definitely return and make sure that I pretend I don't speak English if the same host is at the door. 😁
S Joy
Best pizza evah! I just love it there. It's old, worn but you can't beat the pizza. The staff were all friendly and super efficient.
SUN SOOK CHUNG
A cozy and busy place. Shame for plastics but pizza is so yummy :-)
Cheryl Brewer
It's true. The best pizzeria in the U.S.
Bill Lakenan
Most unique pizza joint I've been to in a long time. Really unique topping combinations. The pizzas a bit seem expensive but they are VERY filling. We ordered 3 10-inch pizzas for four people and could not finish them.
Somniatus Industries
Classic Boston Pizzeria, said to be the best in town. Cozy historic interior, quality menu, friendly service and easily accessible near the middle of downtown. Down to earth quality and a non-pretentious speaks-for-itself atmosphere. A lot of unique pizza options also, as well as the classics done well. Would totally recommend checking this place out.
Heather Chaffin
We came in from Ohio to explore Boston and visiting the old north church I was directed by a local to this pizza shop and was not disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly, told us history on the place and the pizza was one of the best slices I've ever had. The cheese is just perfect on it. The slices were huge and worth every penny.
Fran Kane
Best pizza I ever had! Super tasty crust and ingredients. Loaded with toppings. Great price. Our pie had sausage, peppers, onions. I forgot the name of it though.
Robert Emery
Best pizza in New England. Honestly you will be satisfied with getting a cheese pizza there. However I recommend supplementing it with a giambotta pizza. So much meat and so delicious.
The White Pizza is also very tasty, can't go wrong with any choice here.
Christopher Weckesser
Absolutely incredible pizza! Ordered a pizza with sausage and basil and my mind was blown. I might've had a spiritual experience eating there. Easily the best pizza I've eaten my whole life.
Justin Birch
A Boston experience not to be missed, the pizza tastes almost as good as Antonio's in Cleveland. Be prepared to wait in line though.
Stephen Nicholls
What can you say? They have been the most famous Pizza in Boston for ever. Really I think just 60-70 years, maybe longer. Point is they have not changed. If your in Boston and you want pizza, this is your first stop. Worth the trip and worth the wait.
Franklin Butahe
Came here 5 years ago, and I am still amazed that the pizza is still as good. Favorite pizza is their white pizza 🍕. Try it you are going to love it. Its a tad hidden, well the only thing that kind of sucks but also the wow factor. I love the atmosphere even with COVID raging, its still open and serving very delicious oven pizza. …
Owen Hughes
I had heard from many locals that this was a great pizzeria. I tried to go before a Bruins game but the line up was huge. Decided to go back the next day and guess what, another line up but it was reasonably short. Waited and so glad we did. The pizza was delicious and service was quite quick. The restaurant is cozy and full of personality. The ambiance is classic pizzeria with no nonsense service and I cant say enough, fantastic pizza!
Beantown Billy
I find myself shocked not giving 5 stars as this has been my favorite pizza place in Boston since childhood, but for some reason all 3 pizzas came out with a lot of flour cooked on the crust and cheese not dispersed evenly at all, meaning some slices had cheese to the edge, others had a large separation that was crust and sauce. The pepperoni pizza didn't even offer a pepperoni on every slice.
While This won't stop me from ever eating here again, I won't rush to drive around desperately looking for parking to go again any time soon
Brad H
So damn good. Loved our pizza and the service was great!
Ryan Doore
Great pizza, service was terrible. Wait staff were total jerks and rude because they can be!
GioDyna
Regina’s is always getting a 5 star from me because of all the amazing experiences I’ve had eating this world class pizza. The past couple times I have gone it was a little off and I’m not sure if it was caused by new cooks or what but the crust was super thick almost deep dish level thick and it did not have enough sauce. Not sure why that happened there but I hope the next time I go it returns to that #1 best pizza out there that’s always had the utmost consistency until these past couple times and confirms that this was just a short term fluke. Thank you Regina Pizzeria and keep 11 1/2 thacher St. (The original and only true Regina’s) the best pizza in the country!
Kittie Haddox
Worth the wait! Delicious pizza.
Sara R.
The pizza is AMAZING! It tastes heavenly! The atmosphere is so fun and casual. Definitely go if you want a good meal at a fun location. Speaking of location, the building is in the CUTEST part of the city, so you can take a beautiful stroll after your meal. 5/5 Starz for sure!
Ruthwik Reddy Junuthula
The service was fast and pizza was quite delicious, we got a mediterranean pizza and liked the favors of cheese and onions. The reason for four stars instead of 5 is that half side of the pizza crust was burnt. We had to scrape it and then eat. This was the first time trying m out so I will give the benefit of doubt to them, assuming it's a one off thing. I hope they don't repeat it next time
David Murphy
If you're in the North End looking for good pizza...you've found it if you stop here.
Dr. Justin Bazan
Kinda pizza you have once but think about for years
Kyle O'Brien
Best pizza I've had in a long time. These guys have some great options as far as toppings, and are able to crank out pizzas quickly. The crust is the right thickness, and the topping are all fresh.
The staff is efficient and friendly. Would for sure make it a point to go back if I visit Boston again.
Vedang Lad
Regina’s is probably the best pizza joint in Boston. Eaten here more than 5+ times and enjoyed every bite!
Walter Cowham
I am not the biggest pizza fan as I believe there is a lot of mediocre pizza out there, so I usually choose another option, but this place is the exception. Believe the hype because this place is worth it. I don't know how they make their crust, but it is truly one of a kind and absolutely delicious. Their sauce is also head and shoulders above the competition. The best pizzas are cooked in super hot ovens, and the timing is precarious, so we've occassionally ended up , with pizza that's too over cooked to enjoy and had to ask for another one, but it's worth the risk because when you get a perfect one (9 out of 10 are), it's heaven on a plate.
Gelsey Azhderian
I ordered the Italian Wedding soup because I saw another review saying it is the best IW soup out there. I must agree! It is clearly homemade and not too salty as most are. The calzone was great also!
TheRedDeadJester
Me and my son were visiting from San Antonio Tx and found this gem on google. Wow we were blown away. My son said if he was in heaven this is the pizza he would get. 😀 we dined in the first time and waited in line for about 30 minutes. Well worth it. He begged for it again before we left so we got some delivered to our hotel room before we left. Make sure you don’t miss this place. The best pizza I’ve ever had anywhere. Period.
Jay Harty
I've had pizza all over the world...including Italy. And this pizza was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!
Mr. Noel is an awesome pizza ambassador and a great American!!
We WILL be back and recommend it to anyone who will listen.
Brian Susich
The OG Thacher Street joint has the best pizza on planet Earth, period.
Basic
This is definitely a must go straight up Boston restaurant. their pizza is some of the best i have had and the location is great. 100% recommend

Not sure why this is such a famous place. The quality of service was quite poor for me. My husband and I were told to move twice without any reason why, both times quite rude.
When I got my pizza, saying it was drenched in oil is an understatement. And the whole bottom was burnt to black. The pizza was good but not worth the price nor hype. All in all, I wouldn't go back at all.

Regina's in the age of covid is odd. You're expecting lines on a Saturday afternoon in August in Boston. Nothing. However pizza is always great and the beer somehow seems colder than freezing. I'm amazing qt how this place can load up in pizza toppings and not have the pizza get soggy. It's always crispy and great.

Great pizza and service. Can't go wrong

We got there a bit late, close to closing. Ron was great, made our first trip to Regina’s unforgettable. Absolutely, hands-down, the best pizza I’ve ever eaten! -Can’t wait to do it again Regina!

The service was magnificent! Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. The wait was 30+ minutes on a Saturday night. Close parking was difficult to find. Taking an Uber is a better choice unless you want to pay $38 for the lot a few blocks away. Fun experience. Good pizza.

Very kind and courteous barkeep. Very helpful and had good suggestions. The pizza was, in my opinion not the best I’ve ever had. I like a little more sauce. A little expensive compared to say Ernesto’s which I liked better (service not so much.) All around worth a try though.

This is pizza. Hands down. The best pizza there is. Ive lived in jersey, I've been to New York many times, I've had the famous pies. But this..this is it. The pizza, the one forged in a fiery flame to rule over all other pizzas.

Huge selection of pizzas, really tasty. Very good prices too.

The best pizza in Boston! It is great to get slices from the bar to go or sit down. Fun photos of celebrities who have visited line the walls. Our go to is the white pizza! Can sometimes be a line to get a table but it is worth the wait!

Pizza was awesome. Extremely busy and crowded. Service was decent for as many people as there were..

Long wait, rude servers, good pizza. The food is amazing but the wait is ridiculous. Expect a 45 minute wait.

Open for dine in! I had the Giambotta which was excellent. The bottom crust was thin, crispy, and was easily able to support all the heavy toppings. The crust was surprisingly not soggy and was uniformly crispy throughout. The mushrooms and green peppers on my Giambotta were very fresh, although the pepperoni in my opinion was just average. I prefer the pepperoni cups style, personally. Overall great pizza and atmosphere.

Ate here about 10 days or so before Christmas, before going to an afternoon holiday concert at the Boston Symphony. 1:30 in the afternoon on an otherwise non-descript day, we had about a 10 minute wait for a table. Popular place. Good omen. The pizza was absolutely the best we've ever had. So...what makes a great pizza? Toppings are to each individuals liking, and mozzarella cheese on a pizza is pretty basic. Great pizza is...what are the crust and sauce like? Well, at Regina Pizza, the crust is thin and crispy with a little doughy taste...so you know you're eating something other than cardboard. it's really good. And the sauce is wonderful. Really makes the pizza. Not too little sauce that you can't taste it & the pizza seems "dry", but not too much sauce so that it's overwhelming & makes the pizza sloppy. Just the perfect amount, with a little Italian spice taste to it that you know it's there. This is truly excellent pizza...and this is coming from someone who has no trouble sayin g something is not good, if it isn't. But, this is wonderful stuff & Regina Pizza will be our "go to" place for pizza when the urge strikes, despite the 50 mile drive to get there. More than worth the trip.

Gave us the wrong pizza twice. The second time she left so fast we couldn't tell her. So we waited for about 5 minutes and decided to eat. Figured they made a mistake on our toppings. Waitress comes back and almost yells at us asking why we were eating someone else's pizza. Other waitress comes over tells us it was HER fault not ours. Obviously. So she gives us the correct pizzas. Pizzas were decent and prices really weren't bad either. Just terribly rude and unable to remember who ordered what. Maybe they should ASK if they don't know instead of dropping and running.

We waited 45 minutes for what was described as the best Boston pizza. We had a large and my wife said it would be to much, not a morsel survived. Fantastic pizza well worth the wait, would move here just to have it available to me. This is the 3rd pizza place on this trip,, no one else was even close. Enjoy the wait

I love New England pizza. I'm a Chicagoan, so it's hard to admit it. But it's the best. And Regina pizzeria had the best pizza in Boston. It's thin, crispy, foldable, and full of delicious toppings. I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area.

One word "overrated". There is absolutely no reason to wait in line for these pizza. I have had my fair share of pizza over the world and it was not worth the hassle, the wait, the crowded and loud environment. In addition, because of their undeniable success, the pizza were made in a legitimate hurry. This translated in a non uniform distribution of the ingredients, I had all my anchovies literally on one single slide of my pizza. The tomato sauce, when present, tasted like a bad industrial bottle you can find in any grocery store in the discount section. I put 3 stars because i don't feel like my personal opinion is good enough to rate under 50%. I might have been unlucky.

Great pizza in a run down cramped spot. Usually a long line for a limited sets of seats in this long time favorite pizza place.
The space for each table is limited so you barely have space to sit. The waitress kept bumping into me each time squeezed past.
The pizza was great and worth the wait. The primary attraction is the crust.

Great pizza! This is the original location so it is absolutely the best of all the Regina Pizzas. They are usually pretty busy, but that just shows you how loved it is in Boston. They have cheap beer pitchers, so it's a good and fun date night spot.

Wow! Best. Pizza. Ever. Read several reviews before choosing to come here, but none do it justice. Peroni on draft paired with the best made pizza equals an amazing night. The crust is outstanding with just the right amount of sauce. We actually came twice during our 4 day stay in Boston. Packed both times. Can’t wait to come back!

I found this place a few years ago by accident on a trip to Boston. It is now my favorite pizzas place on the planet. Great service with that Boston attitude. No frills but the best pizza ever. There is a reason they have been there since the 1920s and often have people lined up down the street waiting to get in, even in freezing temperatures! Best pizza ever!

The Pizza is average at best. The minute I sat down the bar tender started telling us stories about how great the place is. People on the street say it’s the best pizza in Massachusetts. That’s not true in my experience. The best pizza in the north end is Galleria Umberto. Three brothers bake this Sicilian square pizza and it is freaking delicious. You will stand on line in the store about 25 minutes to pay $1.90 a slice.
Regina, bow to Umberto.

I'm Italian, we dined here during a trip with another friend. We were a bit skeptical eating pizza outside of our country but we were pleasantly surprised. The dough is good and the pizza is well cooked. The final result is a bit floury but it's not a bad thing. The toppings are slightly unorthodox but they don't stray from tradition, we tried the Giambotta (basically all their best toppings at once) and the Old World Style Napoletana. Both proved valid choices. Be careful about the size; we got 2 small ones (10 inches) and struggled a bit to finish them.
Service was very fast, maybe a bit too much as they brought us the check before we were even finished with one pizza.
Overall a very good spot for pizza in Boston.

Been going for 30+ years. My mom would take me and now I take my boy's. I've NEVER had a bad experience there no matter how long the line would be to get in. It always moves quick and it just gives us more family talk time. The pizza and staff have always been amazing. Even with covid the pizza was delicious and staff was on point with orders, social distance and making sure the customers only touch stuff once. Pre package bag's with plates and napkins along with a pencil for signing credit card slips. You keep the pencil. No line though in and out quickly. It's a must stop by if your ever in the area

Amazing pizza! I read that it's good but was still amazed at how good it is. We were lucky to come when the place wasn't busy and got a table right away. Service was great and the atmosphere is super relaxed. My kids loved their pizza as well.
Edit: we're already back home in Montreal and my son just asked if we still have any leftovers from Regina 🍕 🍕 lol..

The pizza is great and I'll definitely consider coming back next time I'm in Boston. My only complaint was slow service, and we were out of water for a while which is unfortunate when you're eating pizza

Came here for my birthday evening. Food was amazing. Servers were great. Got a complimentary tiramisu dessert! Not your typical Lengthy Italian menu which is great. Makes choosing easier and with their options you can't go wrong. Great flavors and variety to boot. It's cozy and homey with beautiful sleek decor.

Good food, horrible service.
My pizza was good, I liked it! I had number 11.
My girlfriend said that her pizza was good as well although it didn't appear to have many roasted vegetables (the menu said roasted vegetables, number 35). The pizza had roasted peppers and onions.
The bad service is mainly to the guy who brought our pizzas to the table, I think his name was Matt, who literally threw my girlfriend's pizza on the table. That's totally unacceptable even at a pizza place.
I didn't complain to the management because I didn't want any discount or anything for free.
I tipped over 20 percent because I work in the industry and I know that people need their money but based on the service I shouldn't have done that.
Would I go back? Maybe, but if the service was bad I wouldn't tip.
All the best!

I went here twice during my 4 night stay in Boston, so that should tell you something. Excellent crust and cheese.. like everyone else is saying. Our servers were very nice, even with our toddler making a fuss. The bartender was a little agitated at the rush (why are you working at a super busy pizza place?) when I went to pick up a slice to go, but that was not enough to take a star from my review

Delicious Pizza, this is the best Pizza I have ever had in my life. Fantastic service, family owned. I mean what more can you ask for? I would recommend Regina pizzeria to anyone stopping around the North end or Boston area.

This is the best pizza anywhere! I judge all other pizzas by Regina’s! Best ingredients. Simply the best! Look no further. The oven is old traditional , everything homemade! I only go to the North End location! Old school across the board. Go at odd hours to avoid long waits but worth the wait for sure!!!
