I'm having a hard time articulating just how good this hidden gem is. I've had Mexican seafood all across the Gulf and South Western United States. Pollos y Mariscos El Guero makes the best I've ever tasted. I'm not Blowing Smoke...cannot wait to return.

If you know about octopus, then let me tell you that it is perfect here. Family owned and ran so they all work together to make things happen. Amazing food, and drinks hit the soul. Thank you again, felt so at home. From TX heading to seatac Washington, highly recommend. Till next time.

What a pleasant culinary trip! The ceviche tower was amaziiing! The special drink decorated with grilled octopus and shrimps l never saw something like that! Served in this authentic mug and sprinkled with pepper for extra heat. Even the simplest grilled fish tacos here were specially delicious better than Phoenix, San diego or Miami! The salsas boom! And the cherry on the top the singer who made our dinner an immersive fun experience. I hope they get a second bigger place🙏🏻♥️ And l can’t wait to come back!!

Came here on a Friday night and it was busy! We were seated immediately and the service was attentive given the crowd. I had the fajitas with shrimp and chicken and it was very good. My wife had the seafood salad with several different fish. The highlight were the excellent margaritas we had prior to dinner. I think this was good food and the service excellent.

We went Sunday afternoon. Super busy but they had a lot of help working and everyone seemed to know their job. Food was excellent! First time I had ever seen anyone eat squid out of a big drink cup. Next time I'm ordering it. 7 seas soup was great as were the fish tacos. Wonderful place!

OUTSTANDING! Its food like near the border by the coast of Mexico. The Cameron's Costeños is out of this world. The best Micheladas in town hands down had a Cantarito (not pictured but delicious) tacos were great too. Its a seafood place so expect that and the price isn't cheep food but its worth what you pay for and filling. You can't rush perfection but the kitchen doesn't sacrifice quality when they are slammed and it shows. Keep it up you guys are my new favorite.

The staff here is awesome .. we waited on the patio for a table to open inside they made sure we had plenty of room and didn’t get upset when we had another guest show up late ..we stayed for a few hours until it closed. I recommend this place for anyone if you love seafood or chicken tacos. The sauces they make are excellent! The only thing that takes one star away from five is there is only one restroom for all to share.

Best fish tacos I've ever had. And I was visiting from southern California, so I know a good fish taco when I eat one! Amazing, everyone should try their tacos! Great drinks, amazing burritos, and fantastic homemade salsa as well! Best place ever.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in town by far. It meets and maybe even exceeds the quality of food I’ve had in Mexico. The food was made like your Abuela was in the kitchen, with care and perfectly seasoned. Can’t wait to go back.

When ever I come to Boise from AZ, I always stop here because nothing compares to the quality of food and service! I haven’t found a place in AZ that I enjoy as much as this place! Hands down awesome food and workers are nice and attentive! Stop here and enjoy some delicious food!

I enjoyed my meal at Pollos y Marisol El Guero. I had the Fried Octopus and Fried Shrimp (They had a spanish name for it, i forgot it). On the menu it said, "Everybody's Favorite." Instantly I knew that, that was the one I wanted. I found it kind of odd though that it was the 2nd most expensive thing. None-the-less, it was okay. Ask for tortillas when you order it.

First time here and oh my gosh the food was amazing and best Mango Michelada I have ever had.The service was incredible from the moment to walking in to walking out. Recommendations suggested were all delicious I had to try a few and well worth it. Will def be driving to nampa more often just to eat here!

It was my first time in and I ordered Togo. I got the aguachiles verde, it was AMAZING! The host was very friendly and I got my order in under 10 mins when it was busy, it was supposed to be a 30 min wait. Very impressed

Not a fancy place but food and service were outstanding even though it was Friday night and packed. Lots of seafood options as well as chicken/pork/ beef on menu. I like my tex-mex spicy and authentic. This place pushes all the buttons for me. It has made #1 choice for me in Nampa/Caldwell area. I really no of none better in the treasure valley.

Just beautiful food! The cook, Juan "el guero", soulfully described to me his original creations. The aquachiles mixed includes red chili sauce, green chili sauce, and cucumbers and shrimp. An amazing combination for a very hot summer day. They will celebrate 3 years in the fall 2021. Celebrate with them!

This place is awesome!! We ordered enchiladas, and the brought them out still sizzling on the pan!! All the food was still hot on the plate. (And not the plate was not heated) Our server was on the ball, and paid very close attention to us to ensure we were satisfied. Our servers name was Glenda and IMO best server in the area. Very very impressed. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Awesome Mariscos! Great food friendly staff. The fish and shimp tacos fried remind me of Baja! The food is seasoned well, not over spices or over salted. Portions are good. The place is clean. you can tell they take pride in what they do! I will return over and over if they keep doing what they are doing! This has become my most favorite restaurant in Nampa. Consistently good food consistently great service. I love this place!

We hosted a small birthday for my mother on 11/15. And everything was perfect. From the beginning the they greeted us. The food and drinks were AMAZING and tasted very good. I also give the customer service a 10. The whole staff was very nice and polite. I wanted to thank everyone at Pollos Y Mariscos El Guero. I definitely recommend everyone to stop by and try out their food.

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch here with the family. Great food, boisterous atmosphere, nice people, friendly service and overall awesome experience! We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the shrimp tacos were memorable and will be my first choice for next time! Our sweet waitress answered all my questions and kept the drinks flowing! We will be back soon!

Edit: I will leave my previous review at the bottom, but I have to say that the last time I went (6 months ago) was the last time for good reason. The service was not as good. We were ignored most of the night and couldn't get anyone to help us or give us the check. Later, my friend and I both ended up with food poisoning and we were throwing up all night... It was NOT a good experience. Sad, because this used to be my favorite restaurant in Nampa. My 5 star rating dropped to 3 and it is only still 3 because I had such a good experience all the other times except that it was so packed and so loud... I will probably not go back at least for a long time. I don't want to get sick again. IF I do go back, I will not order any of the ceviche or raw food. Original post: Literally the best food I think I've ever had and the staff was amazing! I ended up ordering another meal to go because the first one was so good! The portion sizes were perfect and prices that couldn't be beat. My only complaints are that it was very loud and many people were extremely drunk. That being said, I will definitely be going back. This is my new favorite restaurant.

Ate here by chance and what a great idea that was. Had the tacos since I was having a craving and this place ruined Mexican food for me. I will never be able to find food so good anywhere else. This was authentic as it gets and the quality was beyond amazing. If I wasn't from out of town I would be a regular customer of this extremely delicious establishment.

10 out of 10. This place was fantastic. The food brought me back to southern California . Their authenticity to the food is spot on. Great service, the waitresses really make you feel welcomed. If you are even in Nampa Idaho near the Ford center. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

I have finally found my Mexican Restaurant! Most places that I have gone to are fairly mild almost to bland perhaps to cover all palates. Here - the food was very flavorful and just damn good! I recommend this place highly. Food and service was great!

The food is delicious here. The Wrap Tinga is my go to. Everything that I've tried here has been on point, minus one experience with the oysters.. I haven't tried them since, out of fear. Also, something else to address: Today the second round of chips that came out were stale AF. If I had chips that stale in my house, I wouldn't eat them. Free or not. I definitely wouldn't be serving them. Like I said, outside of that, this place is on point. Very friendly staff who have yet to be short in making a pleasurable experience. I also really like the decor inside. I'm glad to see this place succeeding and even thriving during this crisis. They work hard and it shows. They definitely deserve it. Please keep it up. Don't lose quality with success.

We were visiting from Seattle and came in yesterday and we were not disappointed. Had the chicken which had great flavor and the Mexican Mule is a must try! All the staff was friendly and went out of there way to accommodate us. Met the owners Norma and El Guero and they treated us like family! Would definitely come again!

Very nice staff. Really good food. Very reasonably priced for quality and portions. No beef or pork. Just chicken and seafood, but going in knowing that there were no disappointments. Really enjoyed the fried fish taco and even the bean and cheese burrito was a step above the norm.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. They're Mexican food was great as to be expected. What I did not expect was the extensive list of seafood they had to. Cannot wait to go back and try the seafood. I promised pictures will follow. If you have not been here yet I highly recommend it. Oh boy! This is my new best friend of a restaurant. The food is incredible and Nampa is very lucky that we have this restaurant now. That is some of the best Mexican seafood I've ever eaten in my life and if you're thinking it's just another Mexican restaurant, you're wrong. It's upscale Mexican food like you would get in a nice resort area in Acapulco, Cancun or Tijuana. If you've always been annoyed when you order seafood and you never feel like you get enough , not here. I got so much seafood that I couldn't even finish it. It is beyond amazing and if you haven't been there you need to go now.

Good ambience, micheladas are good, they definitely improved from when they first opened. The wait staff is nice, food is good. They could improve on bathroom cleanliness, since it's just one unisex bathroom it seems to get dirty rather fast.

Nothing super special about this place. My chicken was very dry and flavorless, and I found tiny bone shards in it. The rice was cold and no flavor. Salsa was unimpressive. Definitely won’t make my list on places I can’t wait to revisit.

You have to go! Fresh seafood mexican restaurant with an amazingly affordable menu. I had a seafood cold soup with crab, scallops, shrimp, and assorted fish in a spicy tomato base. A wonderful dish for a hot evening patio meal. Staff were very Covid 19 proactive.

They have no pork or beef here which is fine now that we know. Lots of authentic seafood choices and chicken basic choices. Chicken/shrimp/chorizo Fajitas were yummy. Corona-rita was decent wished it was a bigger cup.

Soooooooo good!!!!!!! El farito is my absolute favorite!!!! Not one of the best ceviches, SEVERAL OF THE BEST CEVICHES IVE EVER HAD!!! OOOH and don't worry about leftovers, they taste so good the next day too!!! Clearly made with fresh ingredients because it doesn't have that weird plastic taste like other "seafood" places in Canyon county. Keep up the great work!

Great Mexican food at a low price in a low key establishment. Just remember, it is chicken and seafood. No carnitas or asada or shredded beef. Refried beans are excellent. Nice Mariachi music playing and lots of Mexican sports games on multiple TV's. Friendly staff. Will definitely go again.

Homemade horchata, the real deal beans and rice, mariscos that are out of this world, rancheros music when you walk in, fun local vibe and good service, want more!?? Come eat yourselves. There's not much more I can do but recommend it. I had a fish taco and a shrimp taco, my wife had Camarones a la crema, and both were excellent. I haven't had good Mexican like this since SoCal or Phoenix. Finally a local joint here in the treasure valley that got it right.
