Courtney was my waitress. She was amazing! I tried a couple different IPA’s and they were so good! I ordered the small super nacho’s, and they were excellent. Great service, good food, nice atmosphere!

Those guy's are making amazing burgers, of course I have to order the biggest one, and they pass the test, well done, super flavored, juice, great clean presentation, fast and slow enough to believe is from scratch. Ahhh and the clam chowder!!! Super delicious!!! The service is fast clean friendly, very well done, great American food. Super recommend.

Good food. The portions seemed off. I got a double order of finger steaks and I did get a bit but the fries that came with them were... missing? They literally put like 5 fries on my plate. The soup was good bit cold but it had great flavor. The waiter was amazing and kept on top of everything.

The last time I was here the food wasn't great and the service and hours of operation were terrible but I was so impressed this time! The food was fantastic and the waitresses were quick and friendly! I always love seeing a business improve. I'll definitely be back again!

Burger n Brew has been around a while and the onen we like is State St. Not for the food, typical frozen or the service, slow but we don't care any more. What make this place fun is you can bring a large group and they embrace it. They have a great area for groups and always a smile.

Great spot for brunch and football. The staff is very friendly and really try and make sure your visit is a great one! The food is consistently very good and the portion sizes are always enough for leftovers. The free hot popcorn is one of my favorite things here, such a simple thing but totally gives the place a little personality! Good food, good service, and good prices keep us coming back!

The hand dipped fingersteaks are the best around. Be sure to get the double order. I like to dip them in ranch instead of the bbq sauce provided. I recommend a side of tots. Enjoyed the football game while dining.

Had a football Sunday at the Brew.... started with a few drinks and courtesy popcorn and ended with an amazing steak salad. We enjoy hanging out at this locally owned and operated burger joint, mainly because of their wide menu variety and cozy atmosphere. It’s always the perfect temperature, the seats are very comfortable and the games are always on!! It’s great when you can find a place to hand out with friends and your entire family as all ages are welcome. With a full bar and great beers on tap, there’s something for everyone. And we always get the BEST service!! Their staff is always on point!!! I definitely recommend Burger & Brew to all my friends!

I met up with some old friends at The Brew last weekend. I am from out of town but I never miss a chance to stop by. As usual, the service and food were outstanding. We had a couple of orders of the finger steaks, which I think are the best in town, and a couple of orders of the nachos. The quantity and quality of the nachos are impressive. One order is large enough to serve 4 as an appetizer. The beer was cold and the cocktails were high quality and generous. The owner stopped by our table to say hello and made sure we were taken care of. I never have any complaints when I come here. Great quality, fair prices, and attention to the customer. This is how to run a restaurant.

This place is just as delicious and reliable as it was thirty years ago. I've never ordered anything I have not enjoyed here and the staff are always as friendly and outgoing as they have always been. They have a really good beer selection (not bad on the wine either!) They have a really large menu which is great for those days when you don't know exactly what you are in the mood for. The prices are also pretty affordable and the portion sizes are huge.

Cute place to eat. I thought the prices were kind of high for what we got. The menu had some unique items that seem worth exploring. The staff was nice. I liked the interior in the decorations of the place. And I also like that they were a grill and bar. Despite the prices I would eat here again.

Burgers were amazing- our server was so personable and attentive- as was rest of the staff- even if not your server they see that you need something they are right there. Great value for the money. Only downside- French fries - I tend to like them coked a bit crisper than they were. Overall highly recommended- our first visit but will definitely be back!

This was a nice place to stop in for a quick bite after doing a long bicycle ride. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. This is a good spot to stop into after work to have a drink with some co-workers before heading home. Food was standard fare for this sort of establishment but it tasted good and hit the spot inside a hungry belly. I wouldn't mind stopping at this Burger N Brew again.

This is another great place that has been a part of Boise for quite some time.. 30+ years. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Many family's come as well as adults alone or otherwise. The servers are friendly and efficient. I usually try to go a time or two every couple months or so. A nice option or different take away from the chain restaurant (which I love many of them as well, don't get me wrong). A must try, if not for anything else but the experience.

My hubby's, Awesome Employers **Gem State Roofing and Asphalt have the company Christmas party at Burger N Brew every year. The food is always outstanding. We always order the prime rib. Ohh, it is superb, juicy, flavorful melt in your mouth and prepared to your specifications. The Service is always Over the Top. Friendly, comfortable atmosphere. You gotta stop and try the eats. You won't be disappointed.

Really nice folks and good service. There are some good beers. Prices are similar to other burger heavy places. I'd go there much more often if they had one of the quality plant-based burgers, like Impossible, available. It's pretty hard to find a good meal there if you aren't into meat/dairy.

Krista was an amazing server when I had the chance to eat at a place I used to eat growing up on Broadway. I haven’t been to the location on state but it reminded what it feels like to be an Idahoan. Good service and great times are accumulating still in the great state of Idaho and this place by far is always gonna be great with its Boise feel. Great service from Casey. Great food. Only negative was the noise level coming from bar area, so loud we got to go boxes and went home to finish our dinner. Maybe a rare instance, but obnoxiously loud table with annoying woman laughing so loud other patrons were making comments. Not the restaurant’s fault, going back again soon!

Great food, great service. I had a grilled chicken and bacon avocado sandwich with tater tots, soooo delicious!!! We ordered the mud pie afterward which is my favorite dessert, it's usually good but this time it was frozen so I couldn't really enjoy it without feeling like my teeth were going to fall out. But other then that, great environment, friendly folks, amazing food. Highly recommend!

Food is always good. Some of the wait staff is great, some, not overly enthusiastic about being there. Overall however, we enjoy eating here regularly. Very good burgers. Lots of TVs for those watching sports. Free popcorn is good. It's a good casual place to eat for anyone that does not expect opulence. We are always happy and full when we leave.

Years ago, I used to love Burger and Brew. Since it's been quite some time since we last visited, we thought we'd go again. But I must say that at best, the food was mediocre -- nothing like what I remembered. The Caesar salad was just okay, but given that their specialties are burgers, I wouldn't fault them for that. But on the waitress's advice (I was torn between two choices), I chose the Russian Burger. They warn you it's a "knife and fork" meal, but quite frankly the lackluster horseradish and sour cream sauce was so thin it just made the whole thing sloppy. It was quite mild as well, so I asked for jalapenos on the side to make up for the lack of kick I was expecting from the horseradish (I don't like things really hot, and the jalapenos were not that fresh, so fortunately they didn't overpower the burger). The French fries were good, but certainly not on par with places like Red Robin. My wife's fish and chips we're also good, but like the burger, didn't support their website's claim of "serving up the state's best homemade finger steaks, sandwiches, and burgers". That said, the value is there, but the service was about the same as the meal (we were instantly seated and it certainly wasn't packed, so while our server was pleasant, there was no reason for having to wait extended periods of time to get her attention or be checked on). All in all, we found no reason to want to go back there as opposed to any of the plethora of admittedly better burger restaurants in town.

The food is not fancy, but the restaurant has a nice hometown atmosphere and the portion sizes are large. They have a new soup of the day almost every time I come, and their soups are great. It seems to be a good value as the restaurant is often busy during the evenings. They also provide free movie theatre popcorn which is a nice touch for people who are primarily there to drink. I don't think the restaurant has very good vegetarian options, but with a name like Burgers and Brew, this is not surprising.

The week the restaurants were given the okay to reopen, amid the covids, we had the utmost friendliest waiter and I could be mistaken, but I believe he was the owner... Been coming to Burger 'N' Brew for over twenty years and have grown to love it more and more each year. They always have a great beer selection, their menu has a very wide variety within it, pretty much anyone should be able to find something that they'll love on it. The staff are awesome, there is a family air about them, they are totally friendly and accommodating to custom requests to suit your taste and will always get you with a smile.

The strawberry lemonade was great and free popcorn when you walk in was a pleasant surprise. Service was friendly but a little slow. Considering the name, I was a little surprised that the burger was average at best. Very greasy which washed away any flavor that may have been there. Some issues with the burger falling apart, it was even worse with my buddy's sandwich. You could tell there is quality ingredients being used, as I was impressed with the potato salad. Not sure if it had potential or was losing it's touch; but it wouldn't take much to go from average to great.

The service was good and they have quite a beer selection. Great place to come drink and watch the game, but unless your drunk, I don't recommend eating here.

Amazing finger steaks- I highly recommend them. The food is better than the service in my opinion. Service on my last visit at lunch wasn't good at all. We got completely ignored and lunch took an hour and a half. In my experience, it seems that if you get put in the back room, you get ignored.

Ate here for the first time last weekend because it's close to my work and Burger N Brew definitely exceeded my expectations a hundred times over.! Food was excellent and all of the staff were very friendly and cheerful. Great atmosphere, will definitely be recommending to my friends and family, and will be back! Burger N Brew is just as the name implies. Good burgers and good beer. I am not sure why I like Burger N Brew as much as I do because it is a pretty standard pub with pretty standard food. Nothing here is super amazing but nonetheless, I still really like the place. And I like getting popcorn while I wait for my burger. Burger N Brew has been around forever and I hope it sticks around for a long time to come.

I ordered a meal that wasn't quite what I expected.Staff were quite nice in making it right. My mom's fish and chips were wonderful. The food was hot. I went from being disappointed to being extremely satisfied. I can't wait to try something different.

I had an appetizer of mozzarella sticks that were top notch. Followed by the "small" order of nachos that were generously topped with melted shredded cheese blend, housemade chili, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream. Served with onions and crunchy pickled jalapenos on the side. I had to get a take home box because the nachos were so large. And they even had a size larger than what I ordered. Service was very accommodating and polite. Good quality beers on tap as well. Fresh and cold with a nice head rising right up to the rim.

We always love Burger N Brew! My wife loves their Guacamole Burger and I like trying new things from there great menu. You really can't go wrong! And enjoy free self-serve popcorn with your beverage before you dinner arrives. They have lots of TV's for sporting events and great service.

Very good food at an extremely reasonable price, quickly prepared and presented with consistency and appeal. Excellently staffed and brilliantly run; they absolutely know what they're doing, and it shows. For this price range, you will not find a better meal, service or atmosphere in all of the Treasure Valley. Friday's clam chowder is the best I've ever had, anywhere, and Dave's specials are always fantastic.

Training new staff which resulted in some delays this visit. Ten minutes to get water, almost 20 before I ordered. Since I was solo, it seemed long. Good burgers but a very basic menu. Heavy on meat and potatoes fried, baked or boiled (potato salad). Convenient and usually fairly fast. This is a good option when you "just want a burger".

I've been coming to the Burger N Brew almost monthly for a long long time. The ambiance is that of an older sports bar with a number of TV's throughout the restaurant and bar area. The food is decent and they have an ample selection of beers (craft & domestic) along with a full bar. Service is generally quite good and the prices are reasonable. That said, when it's busy during a big game... you can face an extended wait. Also on hand is a pop-corn machine, right at the entrance that you can get yourself set up with a warm bowl of pop-corn as soon as you arrive while you're waiting for your first beer as you settle in to watch a game. This is a family friendly establishment and you're just as likely to find die hard sports fans in attendance as a family or softball team having a beer and a meal after a game.

I've been going to Burger N Brew for years and have always enjoyed their food. However, these past few months have really disappointed us. We stopped by today for a quick lunch and were surprised with the quality of the food served. The salsa was clearly out of a jar and runny and the chili offered no taste, possibly out of a can. The salad had a strange taste and the grilled chicken was over cooked, burnt and difficult to eat. I'm not sure it's worth another trip back after months of less than average food.

It was alright. Our server was new, and was very slow. But, he was still learning. He didn't know what a growler was. My wife and I agreed that the food was worth the price. We had an appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 beer, and desert. All for 30$. I will probably go back someday. But, mostly because it is close to my house.

A downhome place, very accessible. The food is good, the drinks aren't expensive, the folks are friendly and the TVs are all modern and in working order. If you had to look up "neighborhood sports bar" in the dictionary, they'd probably have a picture of this place.

We always like Burger N Brew. It's a cozy, older place. Not the cleanest place in the world, but there is a decent sized menu of typical sports bar options. There are always games on the television. You can sit at the bar, booths, chairs, and even a back room. Family friendly and the kids get crayons and activity guides to keep them entertained. Depending on what time of day you go--you get pretty fast service. Employees just wear street clothes and can be a bit disheveled. A simple polo shirt, slacks, and black shoes would really help matters. We enjoy Burger and Brew and have been eating here ever since I was a kid. It doesnt look like it's been updated since lol so I would really recommend some remodeling, thoroughly cleaning everything and making sure things stayed clean and having a dress code for employees. It's in an easily accessible area with a stop light to help you get in and out of traffic making it a breeze to get to no matter what time of time. With some improvements--it would be a spectacular hang out. In any event, never had a bad experience here and will always return.

Always delicious! Their finger steaks and onion rings are the bomb. I arrived at the tail end of Happy Hour and it was so loud! Proof of popularity. But the clamor died as Happy Hour ended. That's when yumminess arrived. Their burgers are the best (Patty Melt is my fave. The Teriyaki burger is usually a must) and if you're looking for some brew...you WILL find it here. We tried the halibut and chips tonight. Although it was good, I've had better. Enjoy!

I love this place. We live in the neighborhood and have a toddler so... it's kind of a regular place for us. Family friendly, great staff, lots of good beers including local brews, a decent house wine, good home-style food, and all at old-Boise prices.

I frequent B & B often as I enjoy the selection of micro beers and the food is good. We watch a number of sporting events there in particular BSU Bronco games because it has a great following of fans who hang out and watch games. Bronco game drink and food specials are available. Large facility for big groups if you need that. We have had 30 to 40 people attend different events and reserved the large back room.
