First off! Kaylee was awesome! She chose all my food and they were perfection! She's very nice and took care of literally everyone!!! For starters the fried green tomatoes were really good. Sweet at first and the red peppers hit you. Highly recommend the cider it was delicious. The best bite burger was messy and perfection especially with their fries. Top it off with their cheese cake. Wear stretchy pants and enjoy all the food here!

Great burgers. This was a great surprise! What a wonderful gem. I was not expecting such amazing flavors. The beer cheese burger was amazing. It was a great flavor in the beer cheese sauce, not bland like a lot of places. The best bit burger was amazing aswell.

Let me just say WOW. I am so happy I randomly chose this place while checking out Billings for the first time. First of all, Alecia and Chloe were so warm and friendly, big bonus on the service and atmosphere. And the food, holy-i-was-not-expecting-such-deliciousness. I highly recommend getting the fried green tomatoes, the dip sandwich, and the bread pudding. It was the perfect meal and each item exceeded my expectations. SO good. I'll be back when I'm back in town, and I definitely think you should go there now if you're looking for good food in Billings!

We have ordered take out food from Stacked pretty much every week since the pandemic started. We generally stick with salads, and Stacked consistently has the very best, freshest, most fabulous greens to be had in Billings (unless you buy them yourself from Swanky Roots, another GREAT place in Billings). Stacked salads are really phenomenal, and good salads are not easy to find or rely on in Billings - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We dined with a party of 7. Six of the meals were very tasty and all the portions were very generous. My 3 star rating reflects 1 meal that was very very disappointing. Ordered was a medium rare steak with a side of roasted brussel sprouts. The steak was served eviscerated!!! The border of the steak looked crispy, resembling burnt ends. The middle was very well done. My advice, order anything but steak. I had the gnocchi, it was great.

Just Had Dinner here at Stacked and the Food Was Delicious great quality Seasoned Pefectly Hot and Fresh. I Had A Double Bacon Cheese Burger and My Wife had the Dip and Both were exceptional. The Waitress and absolutely Wonderful Woman and the other Staff just as Polite and Courteous. I will Recommend Stacked to everybody I Speak to. Thank You Stacked

This place is so delicious, I moved away two years ago and think about this place all the time. The pork chop is phenomenal, the zoom burger is to die for and every single salad is so tasty! I will be making a trip back just to eat here.

This place is a typical, western, old style building... long, narrow room, with high ceilings. The place has a VERY long bar with an extensive selection of beers. Also, good selection of wine and mixed drinks. The menu is the usual American grill fare... Appetizers, salads, sandwiches, dinner entrees, etc. I ordered a chef salad. It was good, but not great. The atmosphere is, again, good, but not great. Only two TVs on the wall behind the bar. Again, it's a very long room.

We went for lunch. The waitress misheard my order and I got a different burger. She did a great job of offering to replace it then offered a discount. The burger was good, just not what I was hoping for. I will definitely return, to get the burger I hoped to have, but also because of the staff.

It is a nice, clean, upscale restaurant in down town Billings. We had 2 very nice delicious meals, 2 appetizers and a sangria and soda. The bill was EXTREMELY reasonable and DEFINITELY worth the service and food we got. The pear crostini app is a must try! The burger and truffle fries my husband ordered at first came out missing a few changes he had made, but they fixed it quick and were super great about it, so no big deal at all. We will be back next time we are in town!

I tried the brisket and had it substituted with truffle fries. Perfect choice for me. I had a nice local tap beer and it was good as well. Staff were very attentive and quick. It was open on a Monday when a lot of restaurants were closed.

Laid back, kid friendly bar and grill. I had the Zoom Burger and was blown away by the flavor. My wife said she really wanted to like her French dip, but it was just way too salty for her.

Review from my table of 3 Truffle fries: (sorry there's no photo we ate them SO fast) I WISH THEY HAD AN AIOLI DIP, cause I think it would elevate this dish more so. Loved the fresh chives on top tho. Price: Fair and would order again. Coconut Curried Clams: It definitely had a heat/spice to it and felt endless! Price: Fair and would order again. Fried Green Tomatoes: wow the fresh creamy goat cheese and honey really stands out in this dish. Price: High for 4 slices of tomatoes and I won't be ordering again. Blackened Filet Tips: were perfectly cooked and melted like butter! Sauce was fantastic, but would love bigger mushrooms. Price: Fair and would order again Fugazetta Stuffed Na'an: recommend by our waitress unfortunately nothing stood out with this one except for a face you made when you got too much balsamic which made us laugh. The onions on top did not have any taste. Price: eh high and I won't be ordering again. If the restaurant reads this: please consider an aioli sauce (: I'll be back

Was skeptical about coming due to friends and family saying the prices were high and portions small. But we were not disappointed. The rice under the salmon was quite overpowering as was the mashed potatoes but everything else was fantastic! I am so not a brussel sprout kind a girl but I couldn’t stop eating them!! We also ordered the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. They were also wonderful! Glad we came in to try it out.

Clean, casual fine-dining with exceptional food options!! My husband and I shared the breaded mozerella and each had a burger. The Zoo and Best Bites burgers had us raving by the end of the meal!! Also loved the fries! The service was sincerely enjoyable. We will definitely be going back!

Stacked has taken the tried and true concept of "meat and potatoes" and incorporated the flair of a high quality contemporary steakhouse. This is a wonderful grill with knowledgeable, lively staff who love to make their guests feel right at home, with (dare I say) much better cooking. I love the space and the ambience, and every bite was decadent. The fried green tomatoes are a must, and ahi nachos are also a solid appetizer. We had the buffalo ribeye and the rancher burger, and neither disappointed!! 10/10

I originally left a 4 star review some years ago, but I have to say that Stacked has really learned/adapted to become a bright light in the food scene of Billings. We have been a few times in the last few months and every time, the food has been absolutely spot on! Every appetizer, entree, dessert is a work of art in presentation and flavor! Keep it up! One of my top go to places in all of the US!

What a great restaurant. The service was one of a kind! The steak I had was so tantalizing and fell apart in your mouth. My bf had bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was very good and moist. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable.

Great place for a burger. We went at noon on Friday, super busy. They were down a server so the lady that was there was literally running. Innovative food, nice atmosphere, and a good location. We really liked it, will go back.

For the last 3 years the Stacked was our go to place on our way to Big Sky for skiing. I love the minimalistic look and the food is truly amazing. Only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of full 5 is the reason that menu it these years stayed the same. I believe that chef or who ever is responsible for creating the menu is really talented and have great potential and we want to see more from this guy. All in all, great job.

The best steak in Billings? Quite possibly. Beer on tap is appropriately priced, though some might complain that the selection is sparse. From what I could tell they were "locally" sourced breweries, so no complaints from me. If you're more of a traditional beer drinker, you'll be happy to find Budweiser, Coors and other inexpensive, familiar beers. The atmosphere/feel of the restaurant was a little lacking, though. If I'm buying a $40 steak, I don't want to feel like I'm in a cramped bar. In a town where the average employee would have to work 3+ hours to afford a $40 steak... That's fine dining, and the atmosphere should really match that. With that said, my party left happy. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the staff was more than welcoming. I'll be stopping in for a third meal, soon enough. The quality of the food and the attention to detail from the staff far overshadow any real issues with the "feel" of the bar. Lil tidbits: The Buffalo is a lot less lean than expected, just spend the extra ~$2.00 on the larger cut of beef. The cheddar mashed potatoes here are to die for. Seriously. Get them.

Fantastic meal, service, and experience tonight..arrived late, (around 9p) after long road trip and they still got us in…was bit loud at first (acoustically speaking) but the place cleared out and we were grateful for it! Nice draft beer selection, excellent wine recommendation, and the steaks, brussels, and garlic mash were cooked to perfection. Cheers to the chef..you brought us back to life after an exhausting day! sorry we dove in and forgot photos :(

This place was ok. Kind of busy. Young, female staff. Slow service at first, but that may have been because it was busy. My server was fine. Not bad, not great. The burger was decent. The side salad was huge with good, fresh greens. Big TVs so that may be a plus or a minus for you.

Levi , our server was 5 stars. Serving staff attire is confusing. They look sloppy and out of place in this establishment and that does affect the overall experience. Price points and food are mid-higher end with $18 burger high $20s pasta. Buffalo Burger was great with lots of yummy fries, gnocchi was a bit over salted with smaller portion but tasty and I did not send it back, and banana foster creme Brule is just bananas bruled on a less than creamy custard rather than a rich creme. Lovely ambiance, weird staff (a little off-putting), better than average-if overpriced- food.

But the bacon-wrapped dates sounded interesting so I took the plunge and both my fiance and I loved them. We ordered a side salad which was very nice as well. The main course was a buffalo ribeye. Tasty, yes, but I'm not a big fan of sauces. Overall a very nice dining experience.Service was quick and friendly. I'd go back again the next time I'm in Billings.

First, the dinner was amazing! We had amazing appetizers, incredible steak, and delicious bread pudding for dessert. Second, Stephen (owner/chef) was there and he came around to our table and engaged our 3 small children, talked with us about his restaurant, the art on the walls, and the design of the restaurant. The food at Stacked is on a completely elevated level beyond anything else Billings has to offer. The menu has a superior range of classic dishes that have deliciously creative twists to them. However, almost every time I go I get the same waiter who acts as if he is being held hostage there. After our food is delivered, we never see him again until we have eaten 90% of the meal and have been without water for 30 minutes. I would recommend this place if you don't receive the waiter with poor service and attitude. Great food can only make up for so much when you are without water for the majority of the time.

Closed! Three times I have tried to take my family to Stacked, only to find it closed. It's Friday night! Very frustrating to drive downtown for that experience. However, when they are open their food is great! I love the bacon-wrapped dates and the bacon mac grilled cheese. And the staff is friendly. I just wish they'd at least update their hours on Google.

Typically I would give this place five stars, but recently the last three times we've been there the food seems kind of dried out and old, even though I know they're supposed to make it fresh with each order. Just something is off about it. Otherwise environment and staff are great.

5 starts for food and 1 for service. Our party made reservations and asked if we could bring in a birthday cake to celebrate two party members. Once our dinner was done, our server dropped off the check and totally disregarded us. I had to ask for plates to eat the cake off of and felt like a nuisance. I had to go up front to get forks and I had to find my own napkins. Our server had a slit in her eyebrows (that’s the only way I can identify her because she didn’t even introduce herself) and was extremely inattentive. While trying to get her attention, I was waiting by the back kitchen door and saw her eating a fry off of someone’s plate that she was bringing out. So, maybe don’t order the fries. Highly recommend takeout but don’t waste your night going in unless you want your server to make you feel like a burden.

Delicious. Had a regular cheeseburger, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, pickle, no sauce. The patty was cooked to perfection. The fries were close to shoestring cut but long, nice long fries. Everything washed down nice with an imperial IPA. The loss of 2 stars is due to the service. Our waters were left empty. I had to call our waitress to refill my beer. She never came on her own. The place was pretty empty and the three waitresses and bartender constantly "chatting" behind the bar.

The food is so good at this restaurant, but the service is severely lacking. There were 7 waiters behind the bar and it took over 20 minutes for us to get our drinks, 30 minutes for us to even order. Our waitress kept disappearing for 10+ minutes. Our food was cold, I’m guessing it sat for about 15 minutes before she brought it to our table. There were 3 waitresses that just talked behind the bar and didn’t do a thing the entire time. This place needs some training!

Unusual seating style for the type of food. A very long bar, even though the taps are not at the bar and are at the back of the restaurant. I skipped the on tap beer that seemed to be at room temperature, and they don't serve whiskey. That was the only downside. The food was very good! My steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The smoked cheddar mashed potatoes were amazing. I will definitely come here again and continue to order beer that is not on tap so I can get a cold one.

The whole experience lived up to the hype. Excellent staff. Burgers on point. Appetizer had great proportion of bacon jam and goat cheese to compliment each other. Busy night, no empty seats but the kitchen had food quick and perfectly prepared.

Went here for a large business gathering. At first I thought we would overwhelm the staff, but they did awesome. Food overall was very good and staff made us feel at home. Had a few different items and loved it all. The banana creme brûlée was the cherry on top at the end. This place is definitely worth a try!

Excellent place with an interesting menu and good beers on tap. I didn't take any pictures as my phone was low but the food here is great. Interesting items on menu like grilled pear with honey and goatcheese app. I got an app that was like smoked flank steak on pieces of ciabata toast with blue cheese and a bacon-date jam; tasted amazing. The do seem to specialize in high quality steaks but the prices are pretty good. The dessert menu was also unique and had many good choices. I got an Oreo bread pudding and it was super dank.

Nice atmosphere! Friendly wait staff. The French dip was AMAZING. made with steak and not overly fatty. French fries are crispy and delicious. Definitely nice change from traditional chain restaurants!

Stacked exceeded my expectations. I had ordered a delicious burger with goat cheese and raspberry jalepeno sauce and was a little concerned that this Restaurant had overdone it in ambition, but it turns out the burger was an amazing mashup of flavors. The fries were an excellent addition. The beer selection is diverse and the appetizers are well thought out and unique. The atmosphere is quieter than a sports bar, but still has enough fun to keep it young and fresh. Easy to get to $30+ per person. Overall, I will be coming back and telling others of my experience. Nice, clean, modern looking steakhouse. Delicious Ribeye and the salads. Justin was our server and he did a great job making us feel welcomed and answering our questions. Be careful not to go for a late lunch hoping to order from the dinner menu though as it wasn't available until 5pm.

I had the best salmon of my life at this restaurant. And that isn't even to mention the deviled eggs and wine that came before! The pesto, balsamic, and risotto pair absolutely flawlessly with the salmon. This is THE place to go eat in Billings. And if that isn't enough to convince you, the prices are reasonable!

I really love the food here, they really know how to put together flavor combinations to come up with something fantastic. Try the zoom Burger! Much better than the sum of its parts. The only downside is that it's in downtown Billings, I wish it was on the West End, the heights, the South side anywhere but downtown. Watch your back when you're wandering around downtown Billings

To start, I had the pear crostini. It was a little too sweet for me. If it had more goat cheese, it would have been more balanced. Also the bread needed to be toasted a little more for my taste. For my entree I had the pesto salmon which was excellent! It came with a side of brussel sprouts which I loved. The service was wonderful. I didn't feel rushed even when they ended up closing early for the winter weather.

Many thanks to Stacked Montana Grill. My sweetheart, son and I have been traveling since Saturday the 18th, and this is the first restaurant that WOWED us. My sons burger was cooked as ordered, Matt’s shrimp tacos were fantastic, the Triple B salad was sublime, and the whiskey glazed meatballs and fried brussels were a lip smacking appetizer. Our server was top notch to boot. This place left us wishing we lived locally, we would surely become regular diners.

Super close to a five star - would have preferred a side option besides a few types of mashed potatoes - but having said that both the garlic and cheese potatoes were very tasty. This was our first visit to Stacked. We met some friends and thought the atmosphere was warm and friendly along with the service. Great choices to choose from on the menu. My favorite was the truffle parmesan fries and the bacon from my BLT. I don't think the hoagie bun was a great choice for the BLT but the flavor was good. We will try it again.

Typically I really enjoy this place but I was super disappointed tonight. Friday night. Almost 8pm. Was offered one of two tables or bar and given menus and water. And then completely ignored at the bar. We looked at our menus. Decided. Waited. Tried to catch someone's eye and even asked if we could order and were told "I'm not a server sorry." Okay well we can go somewhere else then. Its Friday at 8pm you should have a server available to at least get me a diet coke. Or say ones is the way. I have never received such terrible service here before. I am really bummed.

Took forever and then I made a mistake and ordered desert; finally gave up and canceled it (how long does it take to put a piece of cheesecake on a plate?) I also feel that Stacked is overpriced. That is true of the appetizers I had but also the cheesecake I ordered was $3 more than a neighboring restaurant.

The brussel sprouts we're awesome, but the rib eye was just ok, they are corn feed beef. For the price of the steak I was expecting a more tender piece of meat, like the ones I e had at Bull Mountain, or a T-Bone from the Meat Palace. But all in all I will be going back to try their burger that ranked high nationally. Their truffle fries are super good as well. Over all I give it a 3.5.

A group of us went for lunch and rarely saw our server. We waited for her a lot- we waited a long time before she came to introduce herself and give menus to the late comer, we waited a long time before she came over to place our orders, we waited a long time for her to pick up our check so we could sign it and leave... I never feel forgotten at restaurants - usually servers check up on you at least occasionally. I'm pretty low maintenance, so this was a new experience for me. Hopefully that's not their norm.

This is the first time that we came here. we brought my in laws out and I had the whisky salmon and my wife had the Orange salmon my mother in law had the ribeye and father in law had the pork. We went in without reservations on a Wednesday evening about 6:30PM. We were quickly greeted by a personable hostess who quickly bussed the one open table and we were seated almost immediately. The resaurant was buzzing; most patrons were casually dressed and when leaving, everyone appeared happy. We ordered amazing wasabi deviled eggs for a starter, and entrees of andouille sausage/shrimp with cheesy grits, and sriracha chop with roasted Brussels sprouts. Service was attentive and kind, food was delicious and plating was appetizing and pleasing. Only regret was being too full to try dessert.
