Great little place to meet with friends and family. Decently priced and large selections. Food came out piping hot and very quickly. Staff were very attentive and kind. Not a very large place but for friends to meet for coffee and breakfast it is a great choice.

Neat little restaurant was somewhat sort of busy when wife and I went down there to check out, the atmosphere in the food haven't ever been to this said location but overall wasn't too bad I got my normal breakfast biscuits and gravy with coffee and a lovely lady got her a scramble with French toast my biscuits were a tad-dry my wife's French toast was still super wet and achy she said the toast was not done to her liking. But overall very well mannered employees could do a little more work on cleaning the tables after someone leaves though instead of waiting for a new customer to go to the table.

I got the chicken fried steak breakfast it was cooked amazing. Busy little place almost every table was full and being filled after the last people left. Wait time on my food was a bit long but couldn't complain much, they have tvs up so you can watch that while you wait. Also can understand why it took awhile with it being packed. Would recommend. I will return again.

Staff is super friendly! The green chile sauce needs more kick, less sauce and more green chile itself. We enjoyed the trivia pamphlet at the table!

This place is a hidden gem in Billings. I googled best homemade breakfast in Billings and tried a couple of the spots before coming to Red Rooster but haven't tried any more SINCE coming to Red Rooster. It is my go-to breakfast spot, the food is always absolutely fabulous, it tastes like actual home cooking "like grandma used to make". My husband and I are from Texas/Florida and we've lived all over the nation coast to coast, top to bottom and we both guarentee Red Rooster holds it's own against any breakfast spot you've ever been to. PLUS THEY DELIVER! You can't beat that! If you're from the south try their biscuits and gravy, I bet you'll be hard pressed to say you've had much better.

Stopped here for lunch on a cross-country road trip, and we were glad we did! I had the Plymouth Rock Omelette w/o cheese. It was delicious! Mushrooms, spinach, tomato, avocado...all my faves. My companion had the SOB Burger and said it was the best burger he had on our trip. The staff was helpful and friendly and wonderfully accommodating of dietary restrictions (both mine and those I overheard from other customers). I was glad we picked it. They had a lengthy list of pie options, as well as many shelves of homemade preserves for sale. I have full faith that they all would have been delicious if we had tried them. The biggest downside is that it is not really close to the interstate. We nearly picked somewhere else to go, but we ended up happy that we took the extra time for a tasty meal.

Had a late breakfast, two of us ordered the breakfast special. Waffles, eggs and a voice of bacon, ham or sausage, with a wedge of watermelon. The other had the biscuits and gravy. Everyone enjoyed their food.

I greatly enjoy the food here, it is one of my go to breakfast places. I have been there at least 10 times. The dine in area is small, so they might be full at some hours, along with a bit of a bland menu, but you're 90% there for good food and that's what you get

Crazy big portions for the price. Nicest wait staff I've encountered in a while. Half the tables seemed to be regulars, which is always a good sign. It's quaint and not fancy, but it'd be hard to find a better breakfast in Billings.

Hello locals of Billings and travelers from who know what soils. I am a traveler and a bit of an expert when it comes to breakfast. I like a classic breakfast of medium over eggs with hashbrown and a side of meat, usually bacon and sausage. And a plate of pancakes or waffles. In this restaurant, I ordered a meat and eggs plate. With an upgrade for extra meat called side pork. And the pancake itself was an upgrade too. I can assure your that everything is delish. The side pork have me rattling because it look like a very thick bacon but the taste is something else. After a few hard mins, I discovered that the side pork is very familiar to pork chop. The pancake is very fluffy and taste just right, not too sweet nor dry. The eggs was unique. It have a different texture of yellow color for the yolk. I figured it was either duck eggs or very organic eggs. I ask the waitress who work there and she told me that thier eggs is supplied by hutterite company. Owned by an Amish community. I believed if I heard that right, thier eggs are superb and the breakfast as well. Enjoyed your time here

Overall a good experience. I halfto say this is a quaint and comfortable mom and pop community friendly diner concept. My burrito was pretty good and on par with what you would get at Perkins or Denny's with the added benefits that it's Montana sized and let me tell you they do not skimp on the filling or the gravy over the top. My wife had the stuffed avocado and absolutely loved it ! My father and law had the county fried steak and gravy and I've gotta say we were bummed when it came out like boot leather. We didn't ask to return it because we had already waited 15 minutes for coffee refills and kinda just wanted to get going and on to our Costco trip. So to sum up burrito 3.5/5 stuffed avocado 5/5!!!! Country fried steak 2/5. Oh last but not least you've gotta try Thier jams OMG I bought a blueberry rhubarb jelly a week ago and it's gone. Must try. All and all we will be back to try them again !

If you love great down home cooking then you are going to love this place. you can tell just how much love they put into there food. we had wonderful Blueberrie pancakes eggs and sausage. we also had eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. everything was cooked to perfection just the way we asked for it. we also got great service with a smile. I would go back to this place over and over again.

We had a really nice breakfast here. Nice local spot with homemade jams, syrups, and bakery items. French toast was really good and so was the special of Mexican hash browns. We had been meaning to come here for awhile and we're so glad we finally did. Loved the cheap prices and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be a part of the breakfast rotation now. Stopped in for lunch while passing through town. Excellent service, home-style cooking, cozy atmosphere. Menu had impressive variety, and the sandwich I ordered was delicious. Only downside was that we had a bit of a wait to get our food after ordering, but it was busy and there were only a couple servers, so we didn't mind.

I always judge a classic country eatery by the quality of their chicken fried steak and boy does the red rooster deliver. Quality breading, thick gravy, and just knock out flavor. A great place.

1st time eating at the Red Rooster. The food was really good...I think the strawberry rhubarb? jam was homemade. The special was delicious (taco omelet). The peach pie was delightful - especially for breakfast. For me having K-Love on was a plus. I know the folks who own the place so I may be a little biased...but I haven't had a bad meal here yet. Their sour cream raisin pie is my favorite. Try this place you won't regret it!

I've been a Billings resident for most of my life. Can't say how many times I've drove past the Red Rooster Cafe in that time thinking to myself I should try that sometime. Today was the day! The Plymouth Rock omelet was scarfed down in 10 minutes, hashbrowns were crunchy on one side tender on the other. the flovars of the omelet married eachother well. Oh and the jam! Strawberry banana jam?! Say what? I was so full after horking down my omelet and hasbrowns but I trudge on with my rye smothered in butter and that scrumptious jam. It was the perfect sweet treat to my savory comfort meal. I left half sedated ready for an afternoon nap.

I don't normally eat breakfast, but when I do, I know where to go now. Very friendly staff, good comfy food in a comfy place. I got a chicken fried steak that came with hashbrowns, two eggs that I got sunnyside up, some sourdough toast, and I also got coffee. All together, came out to be $14.99, so definitely a little on the high side, but you won't feel cheated or leave hungry. The pie is great too.

They always know what I want when I order and its a short walk from the gym, order healthy options like turkey sausage and oatmeal or splurge on a delicious chicken fried. They make their own jelly and baked goods too....omnomnom!

We came because of the 5 star rating, and were not disappointed. Great food, very nice waitress, meal came quickly at a decent price. It's a little neighborhood place. Only problem was finding parking for my rv. A little extra walking was worth it. Next time we're in billings, we'll be back for sure

Simple fare served with a sweet attitude. The owner (?) single handedly took care of every table and did an admirable job. Every table stayed sat and all patrons seemed happy. My only complaint on the food (breakfast) was the Hash browns were a little over crispy, and I LIKE mine crisp. The bacon and the homemade buscuits were delicious. I will return when I can.

Forget Stella's, this is the best breakfast in Billings. Misty and her crew have a great menu of home-made favorites for breakfast and lunch, not to mention the jams, jellies, and pastries. I've had a little bit of everything and have yet to be disappointed. The biscuits and gravy are a personal favorite, but no matter what I've gotten I have yet to have a bad meal here.
