I ventured upon this place and decided to give it a try. I visited the restaurant after lunch time around 2pm and there was no wait. We were greeted upon entry by the waitress. It’s a small restaurant but gives you super chill vibes and provides a sense of comfort. The bartender was my server and he was super nice and checked on us multiple times throughout my dining experience. I got the BBQ chips and added shrimp to them. They were good and the shrimp was even better, as it was seasoned just right, juicy, and plump. My only recommendation would be to add more queso cheese to the chips. I also ordered a Caesar salad with blackened catfish. The salad was a nice size and had enough parmesan cheese and dressing on it. The catfish was light and moist, side note the shrimp taste much better. I would definitely come here again to check out some more items on the menu. Service was good, food was good! Only semi issue would be parking may be hard to find, if you visit during busier times other than that no complaints at all!

To start, the food is outstanding. The brisket was THE BEST I’ve had so far in Georgia. So tender and even had fatty pieces. I can’t decide what my favorite part was, Mac and cheese was perfect and the grilled squash was to die for. On top of that, my server Shay literally made my night. She was so friendly and helpful. Give that woman a raise! This is a must try spot if you like BBQ.

I like how there's two different parts of this restaurant. The downstairs is chill & R&B music, the upstairs is more club like banger music where you smoke hookah. Also servers could've been better, when we first got in they took a lil longer to get to us. The food temperature could've also been better. I feel like it wasnt hot as it could've been.

the food is amazing. seasoned to perfection!! had two meat plate. chicken leg quarter, briscuit, collard greens, and caesar salad. Appetizer smoked wings. the staff was friendly. the food came out fast. there is a full bar. I saw a lot of couples on dates. located very convenient with plenty of parking. this location is family-friendly. If you want some good soulful healthy smoked meats and soulful side dishes this is the place for you!!If this review was helpful please LIKE and FOLLOW ME!!

Update | I came back to this restaurant and found out that they discontinued the corn and other good sides. I was sooo disappointment because the corn was soo good. We came back to experience the rooftop and it left a bit disappointed. They gave us the end of the rib slab this time and it did not taste good. It was just fat. Everything was just okay. Not in a hurry to return. We were looking for food after attending the rum punch brunch next door to this restaurant on a Sunday. We were not sure what to expect, however we found one of our new spots! The kitchen was open until 11 and the food was scrumptious and did not take long. The corn was sooo tasty and is the best I've had since moving to the city. We definitely want to experience the rooftop and can't wait to visit again.

The vibe was absolutely chill! Our bartender Namiko was excellent! I had a craft margarita that was so refreshing and delicious! I ordered the pull pork tacos and they were so bomb!!!! The bbq sauce on pulled pork was so good! This was my first time.::but I will definitely be back!

VISITED THIS RESTAURANT OVER THE WEEKEND, IT WAS A RANDOM STOP BEFORE I FLEW OUT. BEST DECISION MADE EVER!!! THE SERVICE FROM OUR WAITRESS GARRICKA FELT LIKE FAMILY, THE VIBE OF THE RESTAURANT WAS LIKE HOME AND THE FOOD WAS BEYOND GOOD. We are staying right down the street in an airbnb. Walking distance. We walked in immediately greeted and told we could sit downstairs or upstairs. We stayed downstairs. The music to me was on point. I enjoy some good hip hop, rap and R&B. The menu had so many good things to choose from. We ordered the fried fish and shrimp plates with Mac and cheese, greens and my son got the baked beans. EVERYTHING was so good. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. I don't have one bad thing to say. It was a little pricey but everything is these days. They do include tip but if your like me and enjoy eating out I still always tip a little more.

Now, the food is really delicious! Taste just like grandma's cooking. Really well seasoned and cooked just right. The customer service is really good. You're not waiting a long time for someone to acknowledge you and the food comes out relatively quickly. My only complaint is the size of the restaurant. It can feel a bit cramped on busy days. Also, there isn't enough free parking. You may need to park on a side street and walk over. Other than that, it was a great experience.

Great Happy hour drinks !!!! The food was hitting !!!! The ribs were good but the smoked wings were banging . The mac and cheese surprisingly really good cause it’s hard to find a place with good Mac and cheese but they definitely got a 10 on the Mac and cheese. Cornbread was nice and soft and good and not hard . The greens 🥬 had so much flavor in it . Definitely check them out !!!

Their drinks were 💯. Mac n cheese with collard greens were 👍. Cornbread 👌 but chicken and ribs not to my standards. The dry rub on the chicken was tasty but they didn't cook it well enough for me. It should have been a little more crispy. And the ribs were 👎. The service was decent but not sure I'll go back for anything other than those happy hour drinks. Oh and the parking sucks and they're a bit too pricey.

The food here is A-1!! Everything is well-seasoned and delicious. I had the oysters and the grilled shrimp with corn and collard greens. I have no complaints about any of it. I was also able to try the fried fish and macaroni and cheese, and it was really good as well. The only hiccup was not knowing that we should have gone at a different time. It was a date night and we were looking for good food and a romantic vibe...well, there was no romance, but the food was good. It’s on the same block with other night clubs, and has its own club vibe on the roof. We were shocked to have our personal belongings checked and my husband’s pockets emptied before we were permitted to walk in. I get it. Those are safety measures for the party-goers on the roof. However, we weren’t one of them. Perhaps we should go earlier in the day to avoid the “club bouncer” treatment we received to dine there, but we would definitely return for the good food and the friendly service from the wait staff.

Cool spot near downtown Atlanta. Good barbecue and generous portions. Really enjoyed the BBQ chips which are like barbecue flavored nachos. Decent drink selection and happy hour until 6pm.

Love seeking out Black owned establishments in various places. This spot was close to the airport. Walked in and football and basketball were on the TV screens behind the bar. Yay! We were greeted when we walked in. The waitress was pleasant. We tried a variety of things from the menu. Best food option were the ribs and smoked chicken wings. We didn't care for the mac and cheese, greens and cornbread. Peach cobbler was whammin.

I would love to have given it 5 stars as my first visit was 5 star worthy however my second visit was beyond lack luster. They literally ran out of most items on their menu. The smoked wings (they are the best) were the main reason we decided to eat there yet we were told they were out of them as well as brisket, crab legs, smoked turkey ribs and quite a few other items. We could hear them saying new items they had run out of while we were eating. It became easier to say what they had versus what they didn't have. A staff member suggested they close the kitchen and just serve drinks. The dry rub wings we ordered we displeasing as the fries. The grilled zucchini and squash was delicious and my friend enjoyed the mac and cheese and greens. Their peach cobbler cheese cake will make you slap your mama, it is so good. We will probably go back but we will hit up other black owned restaurants first. We were truly disappointed... We were advised not to come back on a Sunday because what we experienced happens often on that day. If we do return it will be midweek. I almost forgot the nachos...we wanted beef brisket on them(which they didn't have) but got turkey instead. They were pretty tasty.

This is the real deal. In a 7 hour stint, I had the pleasure of stopping by this place. Service was great, food was unbelievable. Brisket, Ribs and the Mac were the stars of the show. Defiantly will come back.

I love Wednesday 10 for 10.... Peach panties for drinks .... The vibe is good. Nice happy hour with good specials. I've visited both for a lunch meeting and after work. Kind of small downstairs tho... The overall service is pretty good but I have ran into a poor server but management did a good job addressing the issues. They tend to be a bit slow at the bar sometimes, but overall it's a good time, great prices and good food

My experience was nothing short of amazing. I am so shocked that I didn’t know about this gem earlier, but I am so glad I was recommended to go here! Food was AMAZING! Not your regular soul food spot that just makes the regular grandma-like recipes. I could slap somebody about the zucchini & and squash medley and those turkey ribs 😫 I felt FULFILLED when I left. Rooftop is amazing, with a nice view of the city. They also have great Happy Hour specials too. Management, Chef, and the Staff were very polite. Can’t wait to get back there!

Ribs are good, macaroni and cheese is decent.... Needed some salt. The grilled corn has really great flavor but it taste like it was also boiled at one point. The cornbread muffins was also pretty good.

Nice experience! -It took a while to get a server, the servers were too busy counting their tips to serve us promptly. -Once, we finally got a server she took out order and it came in a quick amount of time! -I ordered 4 ribs, baked beans, potato salad, and 1 cornbread ($13.99) The food was amazing! All of it was fresh and seasoned wonderfully! -The portion size was perfect for the price. I ended up having leftovers because I get full quick. -The pound cake tasted like my mother made it!! I would give 5 stars if we would have been attended to more prompt and if the A/C was blowing out cold air. It was really toasty in the building.

Everything was great! The food,service, happy hour, sweet tea, and lemonade! Absolutely loved it all. Will definitely be back. TDH had one of the best Mac & cheese I tasted compared to other bbq places I tried. The greens were good but that cornbread 🤤🤤🤤🤤! Ordered the pulled pork plate and a half rack of ribs, sliced brisket sandwich (added pull pork to it ) , and two tacos. The music was jamming. The parking is kind of weird,we parked on the other side of the building where this guy was washing cars🤷🏾‍♀️.... definitely put on your list of places to go. Some nights they are open until 2am other nights midnight which is great !!!

Parking is a joke! They only own about six spaces or so... we parked across the street, on the street for free- not a fan of paying $10 to park. The food and service was very good! I was looking forward to sitting upstairs in the open air but will have to go back on a non 90° day! The inside space is pretty small and awkwardly shaped, but it's pretty nice. There are many TV screens for sports fans. The dry rub wings were tasty! The cucumber tomato salad was tasty! My Arnold Palmer was perfect! The mac and cheese was a little peppery for me, but I ate it. The baked beans were tasty! The corn muffin tasted like cake. The banana bread pudding cheesecake was very good!! It was a pretty big portion also! Almost the size of a personal sized pizza! I will probably visit a few more times as long as service stays wonderful and food stays tasty!

You cant visit Atlanta without trying the BBQ. This is a hidden Gem! I aye here yesterday and Im still full the next morning. I got the hanky panky drink it wasn't that good. The waitress charged me for the wrong meal then said it would take a few days for the money to show back up on my account. She also spilled a drink on another customer. Despite that she was friendly and food was A1. I would still return and tell you to check it out. The corn on the cobb was my favorite!!

The rooftop is the place to be on a beautiful afternoon. Great atmosphere. An enjoyable selection of old & new skool music blurring through the space but not so loud that you can’t have conversation with your peeps. Attentive and friendly staff. Awesome $5 Happy Hour menu (12-8) is budget conscious & delicious. Now, the parking situation and neighborhood is why I couldn't give them 5 stars. Be prepared to pay $5 to $10 to park (shared lot with two other neighboring bars) or take your chance & find parking on the street if you can find it. The neighborhoods not the best so if your going at night best thing to do is pay for parking. All in all, this was my 1st time here but not my last. 👍

Delicious food, terrible service. Not vegan friendly, though they have enough vegetarian sides for an over-priced vegetarian sampler plate. The fish Taco is nothing but tasty fried fish on a tortilla, completely bare. Waitress walked away mid-order. Took orders for some party members who just sat down, while completely ignoring others. Messed up drink orders.

This place is a treat, either hanging with fam & friends or your special one. I mainly recommend the smoke wings which stays consistent, rooftop bar is very quaint and comfortable. Was excited on wed oysters..... but price and quantity isn’t worth it.

I had a wonderful experience at this TDH location! It was Super Bowl Sunday and the staff was festive and super nice. I ordered the fried catfish, mac and cheese, collard greens, a strawberry margarita and a watermelon/mighty freeze hookah. The food came out relatively quick. The catfish was large, seasoned well and had a perfect crisp. My server brought out condiments promptly. The greens were soooooo good! I didn't necessarily care for the mac and cheese, but it was seasoned very well. I just prefer a creamier Mac and cheese with more of a cheese pull. This is more personal preference than anything because it was still a good mac. The hookah girl was very nice and attentive. I didn't have to track her down for a refill or new coals. She kept coming over to make sure that my hookah was OK and that I didn't need a refill on coal. The bartender was also a really nice guy. The only negative comment that I have is that there is no parking. You have to find free street parking or park in the lot across the street, which is $20. Just don't park on the street in the front. It's a bike lane and APD will promptly give you a ticket or have your car towed if it sits too long. Nonetheless, great experience. I would definitely go back.

The whitening nuggets/bites were delicious. My Caesar salad was great and the dressing wasn't too bitter. The baked beans weren't sweet enough for my taste. My martini was ok, not the best. Overall, the service was pretty good. I was able to find street parking. If you go before 830p ish you can find $5 parking across the street from TDH. After that it goes up to $10 maybe even higher. The highest I saw was $10.

Such a nice calm place. It was some what slow upon arrival which was a 3pm on a Wednesday but now at around 4:30 it’s swarming with people. The wings are great! There is a $2.00 fee for all wings or all flats fyi! The Hennessy swear tea is so good as well! There are several sides to choose from! Overall i had a great time and didn’t spend a lot of money

The food was pretty good and the Hennessy cocktail was really good. After having two and another drink I was tipsy. I ordered half a dozen dry rubbed wings and they were amazing. Some of the best wings I have had since living in this area for around five years. They remind you of what you had growing up. They're the perfect size and not undercooked. I also enjoyed the collards. The Mac and cheese was good after a drink and a half. I will definitely be back.

I hadn’t been here in a while but the food remains the same… too notch!! Very pleasant service and good environment. Be mindful that there is not much parking and you can get blocked in if you park in their lot (just happened to my party of four). But it’s not the restaurant’s fault so full five stars for them and boo to the next door establishment. Love TDH

Drinks were ok and the food was pretty good as well, their mustard bbq sauce made the smoked chicken wings extremly tasty. The mac and cheese was creamy, how i like it. The downstairs area is small and tables are really close together. Our table was particularly unbalanced, wobbly, and directly in the walk path, so it was a little annoying. A homeless man also popped in to make a couple of very loud "announcements" which was a little unsettling. Other than that i would go back and try their other menu items as well as the outdoor patio.

The place is a nice chill spot. My only issue was the 2hour table limit apparently. We order food and had hookah which was refilled. So I felt rushed because the server stated we needed to get up because we were pass our limit. If I would have known that I wouldn't have refilled my hookah. Oh on top of that the place wasn't even crowded.

Food was great, with large portions. The dry rub wings were delish. My only problem was when the homeless woman came in and sat beside our table. She begged us for money, then a worker came over and asked her what she wanted. She stated "the usual" and named her dish. While the woman waited for her food, she continued to beg us for money and jumped in our convo. When she left, we spoke to the manager and commended him for wanting to help the homeless, but suggested that he have them come to the back door and not around patrons. He denied that they do that (???). I would not go back, but the wings were good.

😲 omg the Food is So So Goooooood.. the meat is just right falling😋 off the bone. I mean U can taste the seasoning on the Ribs💯 and don't forget the amazing BBQ sauce. They also have a mustard BBQ sauce....oh my God too good to be true taste so good on top of the rib something different but good the Macaroni & Cheese tastes like Grandma's homemade collard greens awesome not over Cook.. The cornbread remind me of my auntie Betty homemade cornbread muffins this place brought back so many good memories every meal time I really like the way everything was laid-back set up nice music 📺 Tv's everywhere the staff is very nice and polite... They also have a bar for those who are 21 and up I give this place 5 stars and most definitely I will be back... so if you're looking for some good home cook food this is the place😘😘😘😘😘💯

Great food. Supersized chicken. Idk where they get their chicken but these legs were so plump, it was like lizzo in a concert. Brisket was so moist they must play sisqo on repeat in the smoker. The music selection here is on point, whoever picked Aaliyah radio on pandora has good choice. Chicken wings smacked harder than craigs dad slapped his mom. 👋

I came here for take out. My food was cold and the waitress at the front was smoking her vap pin inside the place literally in my face at the front door register. I also tripped over the rug they had folded at the front door. The food was ok but I wouldn’t eat here again.

This restaurant was AMAZING!!! I recommend it to everyone. No one in our party had any complaints. We had the grilled shrimp, BBQ ribs and whiting, with mac'n cheese, grilled veggies, and salads. EVERYTHING to include the salads were seasoned to perfection. You need no additional sauce nor seasonings. I had the ribs and didn't bother to add any sauce. I also had the banana pudding cheesecake pictured and loved it. Sorry I made a video as opposed to taking a picture of our other food. You will enjoy yourselves and the atmosphere.

Bartender " G" made this a fun experience for my crew of 7. We had an great time.We were from out of town and was able to be seated at the bar. This visit really deserved 2 stars but I'm giving a little grace because I overall enjoy this restaurant. My 1st time dining on the Rooftop and it's so cute! However, the service I received was not what I'm accustomed to from the inside. I ordered turkey ribs, mac & cheese, and greens all full of flavor but warm, actually borderline room temperature. Soul food should be hot not luke warm. The DJ also helps earn the 3rd star, he was awesome! The drinks served from the inside bar are always tasty and strong! My drink this time was far from that. I'm not sure if it sat too long as my server was not as attentive as she could have been, or if it was simply mediocrely made. I was extremely disappointed in the basic service I received.

The atmosphere was great, sitting on the 2nd level looking out over the balcony as you eat is nice. The food was amazing, the ribs just melt in your mouth. The staff was very nice and the DJ had the vibe just right. At the same time you can look above the bar and catch sports games playing. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of my drink. Ordered two margaritas, one tasted like straight lime juice. Will be going back again, but might not order a margarita 😅

Atmosphere and view is the bomb. Drink was disgusting. When the waitress noticed I was not drinking it she brought me a shot on the house. Must have been well tequila, it was harsh. She was nice and did continue to check. They did not have the items to make a skinny margarita but still charged the up charge fee. The bartender was definitely throwing them back and sweating profusely. It was not that busy, they were close to closing. Not keen on returning.

Cool place. The bbq is amazing! I've had the spare ribs each time and they do not disappoint, and my wife gets the turkey ribs and they are great! The bartender on the rooftop was amazing and attentive despite the amount of people sitting at the bar demanding her attention. I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the limited amount of seating inside on the first level. The inside also doesn't have the same vibe and excitement as the rooftop. But you should try it for yourself!

So, 20mn passed before someone else asked if our order was taken then she went and got someone else to take our order. I ordered the ribs and chicken quarters. It was delicious, and well seasoned. My sides were grilled squash and mac & cheese. The squash was okay but the mac & cheese was a miss for me. I think I have an idea of what they wanted to achieve with the flavor, but it just was a flop. Too much black pepper, the crumble gave a textured of wet sand and the overall seasoning was pretty bland. Overall I was satisfied, and I can’t wait until the word reopens so I can dine in. It was really chill and quaint on the inside, not too loud when I picked up our food. I will definitely be back.

Once entering, Tyrone greeted us with such a warm cool welcome. Offered the Upstairs (Bar, DJ, Hookah) or downstairs (where we entered). We chose downstairs and sat at the bar just because we weren't looking for anything too loud or party like. Just a good meal before work. It was empty, that always gets me....feels like I have the place to myself. Lol But patrons started to trickle in. Food was GREAT, HOT, and didn't take too long. I just had a tast for some MacnChz and they did not disappoint. We got the Loaded Chip appetizer! BOMB! I got the Pulled Chkn Plate and my friend got the Pulled Pork Sandwhich. Spent about 1hr 45min total and about $40/person with A alcoholic beverage. It was just a perfect first time experience. Championship FB game and a Basketball game for Him. Nice Bar area, Spacious and very comfortable, excellent service, a little pricey but not too bad for a night out. They run meal specials Tuesday through Friday as well as $5 drink specials (grown folk dosage too). The food was great. I had the $10 Crab Leg Thursday Special (Atlanta location only) and the $16 Combo that includes 4 sides, +Kale Salad, Greens, Mac& cheese and Homemade BBQ Potatoe Chips as well as a drink 🍷 special all for under $45.... including tip. My homegirl had the wing platter, off the chain delicious 😋. I highly recommend that we pack this place out all week long, bring your folks who visit from out of town here they will be satisfied...Plus we want to keep them in business! The food is good for a bar. I ordered the fried shrimp, mac and cheese and collards. The shrimp were a great size and I got about 8 of them. The mac and cheese was so tasty and I have never had any like it before. The collards were another thing. They were bland and seemed to be cooked without meat. But they weren't terrible so I definitely ate them. The service was ok and could have been better but it was around closing so I gave it a pass. The rooftop was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect so I will definitely be back.

Definitely expensive but I think that's part for the course. 4 mixed drinks, 2 appetizers, 3 main course meals and 2 desserts added up to about $180. Very delicious. I wish we were actually able to eat on plates instead of take out boxes. I think that's bc of covid though. The music was a good mix of 90s rnb and today's jams. A lot of tvs showing the different games that were on. Also, the ambience was on point. We had the kids with us so we couldn't go upstairs which is 18 years and up only. From the outside it looked like it was lit. Hope to come back some time soon.

I realllyyyyy wanted to like this place. I ordered the BBQ Chips , their version of nachos, and cornbread. It was cheese, tomatoes, chips, jalepenos, and chicken. No fresh garnish at all. This place always has a good atmosphere, especially in the summer time when you can go up to the rooftop bar at night time and listen to some music while having a few good drinks with friends. It gives you a nice view of the skyline and former Atlanta braves stadium which will soon be occupied and utilized by Georgia State University. Very hip, very trendy and very cool ... The food was good but, mine was cold. I was sitting at the table waiting for my carryout. 30 minutes later, I asked the girl where was my food? So shes going in the back to get it. It had been sitting there the whole time. On top of that Parking is terrible. Very small parking lot. There were people who were not affiliated with their Company charging 5 dollars for people to park in their free parking lot. I told them to keep rocks.

I'm super sad they didn't have the turkey ribs but I know they would if they could. I got the dry rub wings instead. They were lightly fried I think and a little salty but sweet too. The cornbread muffin was so cute! I got two, one to eat later which a pile of butter like I like. I was overall satisfied with my meal. It's small and doesn't seem very accessible, the booths have a step and the doorframe is pretty thin. The music choice is what ultimately led me to pack it up once I was done. It's not that chill and I like to lounge a little after I eat

Loved the pulled meats and the crinkle cut fries. The mac n cheese was pretty good, but I was not a fan of the baked beans. The baked beans tasted like cinnamon had been added to them and I did not like it. The cornbread was not that great either.

The food and service here exceeded my expectations..The ceasar salad and mixed green Salad was Delicious-The Greens were crisp and fresh and the Portions was enough to share..Rather you want to call the glass half empty or half full! My Server never let my Glass get there,She kept my beverage filled..I also ordered the dry rubbed wings and the chef himself brought it out to us and I must say that those wings were cooked to perfection..The seasoning should be Patented...And to top it all off I ordered an Banana pudding cheesecake-Just when I thought no ones banana pudding cheesecake could top the one at puff n petals-I was mistaken..🙌Hands down-THE BEST..The only reason why I didn't give 5stars is because of the parking..Its FREE to park at TDH They have a small area for parking and the surrounding area belongs to the museum bar and another business that charge to park,but there was a guy off the street out there trying to make people pay to park, so be aware of that..But Great Food, and wonderful Service..

It was okay. It probably would have been better had our server been more pleasant. Larissa was obviously not having a good day and she acted accordingly. At times she seemed dismissive and was just not friendly at all. Other than that, it was Happy Hour, (Friday, 12-8) so they had $5 drink specials. I had the Passion Panties or Purple Panties, not sure of the name but it had something to do with panties and it was very good. The whiting tacos were tasty as well. The parking sucks and I had to pay $5 to park. Will, I go back????? Probably.... Who doesn't love a good $5 Happy Hour drink??? Lol!! But I will definitely make sure I'm not in Larissa's section.

My new favorite bar b q spot. I ordered the ribs with a side of greens and Mac n cheese. We got our food within ten minutes of ordering. And everything was delicious. The ribs were tasty and tender. Everything was seasoned just right. Only complaint I have is that the drink I ordered was very small for $10. There is very little parking but there is a lot across the street at the bp that only charges $5 to park. The parking attendant "Big Unc" was funny.

The bartender downstairs was Great! The bartender on the rooftop was Great! I really wanted to give them 5 stars but couldn't, due to the food. I ordered the Whiting bites w/collards and corn on the cob. The corn was sooooo salty with their bbq season ( and I LOVE CORN) that I had to keep wiping off the corn, to try & enjoy it. That didn't help. It would have been better if they could have just sprinkle a little season over the corn. But the greens and fish was great. Just lay off that "High blood Pressure" seasoning on the corn.

Maybe, I just chose the wrong day and I should probably not base my opinion on just one experience, however, after hearing my sister, bother-in-law & cousin talk about TDH & how much fun they had & how good the food and drinks were, I agreed to go with them. So, imagine how disappointing it was to get there & not enjoy the experience?!? It took more than an hour to order, another hour to get our drinks (which weren't prepared properly) & another 30-45 minutes to get our food! I ordered this brisket plate, with a salad & steamed broccoli. By the time I received my food, the meat was extra dry (although, it tasted really good) & the broccoli was cold and hard, but since it's virtually impossible to mess up a salad, it was great! I may be a little bias, but I just don't understand why EVERYTHING TOOK SO LONG!!! The establishment isn't that large, maybe 12 tables on the lower level, three of those were occupied by one group & the 2 servers, although very personable, were struggling to keep up!!

Now it's just oh ok (as far as the food goes) I went last weekn after work with friends for Happy hour. the happy hour selection is great. they have about 10 items that you can.order for $5 drinks and food. My drinks were good as usual but the food was wack this time. The smoked wings were great as usual. However, the collard greens were half cold like they heated it up in the microwave and didn't stir it up well. Secondly, the mac & cheese was nasty. It tasted like only pepper was used to season it. I don't know if they changed the recipe or what but it was nasty. I sent it back and just payed for my drinks and meat. The manager was super nice about it though. she brought me out replacement side dishes to eat.I got hungryb with b all that drinking so I ended up ordering a Chicken sausage with house made chips for $5. THAT thing was soooooo tasty. It has a little spicy kick to it but nothing too hot. TD&H has a nice rooftop so if you're looking for a cool little gem with great happy hour specials then hit them up but only order meat. lol !

The restaurant has very limited parking (5 spots available), so unless you find parking on the street, expect to pay $10 for parking. Inside the restaurant was very small, so large parties, find somewhere else to go. Drinks are also super expensive. BUT I am giving them 4 stars because the food was really good and our server was very accommodating. We had a great time.

An unexpected jewel. We were from out of town and just leaving "world of coke", and just googled (BBQ nearby) and this place came up. Not only is the service A+, its a really nice place with a relaxed atmosphere (2- story, they play music upstairs with dj or live music), and the food is excellent. Big portions and if you don't eat meat the Veggie burger is really really good! Parking is weird. There is a small lot behind the place (that is free) that is usually full, but you can park on the street! There is a large lot behind the free lot that charges $10 to park. You don't have to pay, you can park on that one way street called Pryor St SW on either side. There are no restrictions except for areas that say clearly "no parking".

It was my first visit ever but service was on point, friendly welcoming by staff and pleasant surroundings, interior is a 👍🏼. Covid distancing and mask were relevant 💯. Parking is not the greatest👎🏼. The real disappointment was after driving the distance of an hour and 45 minutes to order our "take-out" then driving an hour and 45 minutes back home anticipating supposedly these delicious slabs of ribs with sides, IT WAS A HUGE FLOP, the bbq slabs were entirely too "salty" that none of us could eat them. It was as though after removing from bbq pit someone had just taken a salt shaker and just made it rain on the meat. This experience was extremely disappointing and embarrassing for us in front of out of town guests. I can only say "NEVER AGAIN" Bad Really, Really BAD 👎🏼

Food and drinks are always good, service can be a bit slow at times, even still I always enjoy my visit. Some if my favorite dishes, smoked wings, brisket and any of the sides. The rooftop, when it's warmer, is my favorite. They sell hookah up there (for my friends), and I can bring my cigars :) most hookah places don't allow this.

I Ate here a few times. Got ribs that you could see and taste the rub, and some you couldn't. Some ribs were dried out once. Ate the fish and it had no seasoning. The sides are good and the muffin as well. The inside is small; about 10 or so tables and a bar. There is an upstairs that is not always open. The floor inside was slippery every time I visited and good luck with parking. But the food is good if you get lucky. Automatic tip added to Togo orders. I have been approached by a couple folks outside asking for money or food as well on different visits. P.S. be aware of the side dish offers. I got brocolli...3.99....and they gave me 4 florets. 4! Talking about it's a 6 ounce portion. I can't recall if it was stated on menu. That needs to be reevaluated. Mac n cheese cost more to make and greens more to buy than broccoli. Blew my mind. First time visiting this place and can definitely say that I will most certainly be back! For a Monday night I didnt know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooftop was lit. The music was on point. People were playing games like spades, dominoes, connect four, and uno. Ariane was full of energy and so much fun. She made sure that we had a good time. Definitely would reccomend this place to others. Oh yeah, and the food is also delicious. I had the turkey ribs with mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything was really good especially that sauce they put on the turkey ribs and the cornbread muffin. A must try.

On the evening that I ate at this restaurant it was very busy. There was a concert near by nd no other real options for eating. We waited about 10-15 mins for a table which wasn't bad for the amount of people there. Once we were seated and our order was taken it took an additional hour for our food to come out. Food was great, however, there was no apology from the waitress or the kitchen about the wait. As we were leaving we heard another table asking why it was taking so long to get the food and the waitress said "the kitchen just said it's taking a while". We would try this place again, but only if we had a lot of time to kill or there were no events going on around it.

I asked about this before and there is one now but it’s a half inch from the toilet handle— my purse barely fit! A man had to install this with no input from a woman cause a woman would have put that hook behind the door. The details ...they’re important...especially to your female customers...thanks!

This place is one of my favorite restaurants. I tell people about it all the time. However, today the food was just not up to par. This is the first time this ever happened. And I was extremely disappointed. My waitress Genea was phenomenal. She was kind and patient. And understanding. I asked to speak to a manager because I felt they needed to know about the issues with our food. Kim immediately came over. Asked us about our concerns, and not only apologized but informed us that she would happily get us a fresh and well prepared meal. And that she did. I am so thankful for Kim and Genea. I went here for the first time to watch a Sunday afternoon Falcon's game and was warmly greeted immediately upon walking into the restaurant. I sat at the bar and bartender, Joyce, made me some delicious virgin drinks since I don't drink alcohol. For those of you who do drink alcohol they have a wide selection to choose from. I ordered the dry 6 piece chicken wings and mac'n'cheese and it was delicious! I received exceptional customer service, tastey food, and the ambiance itself is laid back. However, I wish they had a parking lot, but as a newbie to Atlanta I'm learning that almost every establishment near or throughout downtown you have to pay for parking. There is, however, a parking lot directly across the street that charges a flat $10. I will definitely be returning. *Highly Recommended!

You gotta eat here if you are getting BBQ in Atlanta. Amazing BBQ. ( best I've had in ATL). Nice menu, well stocked bar ( no wine tho..??) and "make-you-smile" prices. Among us, we had the chicken wings with sauce ( they also have dry rubbed), pulled turkey. platter, and the turkey ribs. All delicious, especially the turkey ribs- so nicely smoked, they did not need any sauce, and melted in my mouth. Sides are average. You get 2 plus a roll or cornbread with the platters. The tea is only sweet- just like Mamma's house, which is how I felt there- right at home. The dining area is not that large and we waited at the bar about 20 minutes for our booth. It was Oyster Night ( every Wed), so perhaps it was extra busy. Seemed to quiet down after 7 :30 or so. I'm not surprised it was packed when we arrived, with 10 for $10, roasted or raw. The plates looked delish, but we didn't order any, looking forward to BBQ. The bartender said their hamburgers are really awesome. If they are better or as good as the BBQ, Tom, Duck and Hank will be my fav hamburger joint too. The total bill was super reasonable. We actually felt the meal was worth more than they charged us. The staff was great, kitchen was right on time. The only negative: they had run out of brisket ( the sign of a good authentic BBQ joint) but the cook promised he will start cooking 2 per day cause he keeps running out. They also ran out of the cheesecake, which gets rave reviews on other sites. There is a big parking lot (rare in Atlanta). Tom, Duck and Hank may not be on any "restaurant row" but this is one place you gotta visit. You'll be pleasantly surprised. And will go back for more, I bet.

Loved the ribs. They have a BBQ sauce, mustard sauce, and hot sauce to use at the table but the dry rub is all they needed. The coleslaw was very good. The baked beans are good but a little too sweet.

The meats were tasty coupled with the house barbeque sauce. The service, however, was not fantastic. We were left without food we ordered and empty drinks for some time. The sides were not very good either. I believe, however, that the barbeque is worth overlooking these other issues.

Its a great experience...You are able to sit on the rooftop to enjoy the scenery of the city. When you order drinks there, always say light ice... otherwise your drink will taste like a watered-down Kool-Aid...

I'd say 3.5 stars. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. I recommend the turkey ribs, greens, and mac and cheese. The issue is the service... slow as molasses. But, still worth trying. Maybe catch them on a slow day or something.

Met a few friends for bday fellowship. Patio vibe was great. Drinks on point. I heard the wings are awesome. I was trying to be somewhat good and only had the veggie plate which is 4 sides. I chose the mac&cheese, greens, tomato&cucumber salad and potato salad. I was most impressed with the mac&cheese. This is a great pre-game spot and would also bring a date here for drinks and convo as it's pretty chill. I'll be back.

The most legit barbecue spot in Atlanta. Worth the wait. Small place usually busy. The wings are wonderful, but are a dry, crispy type. Go for a bbq plate and enjoy the variety of sauces available. The staff is really kind and funny. There is a full bar as well. Didn't have a desert as my plate was big enough to last me for a couple of meals. Great spot to have some good bbq with friends.

Oysters were awesome, the grilled ones! Went on a night they were $1. The waitress was terrible, she was slow, it took her 30 mins just to get my tab. The waitress next to us turned her tables twice, so you do the math. Woulda been 5 but waitress killed it.

The ONLY reason this place is getting 3 stars from me is because of the waitress downstairs (Sorry, I don't remember her name but she is from Bronx, NY). She was courteous, friendly and on top of things. Now let's get down to business. Stopped in here for a quick lunch (have been for dinner before) and found out they have a happy hour going on. Okay cool. I ordered the 10 mini chicken wings, some fries and a French 75 cocktail. Wings were hard, overseasoned fried skin. There was little to no meat and some I couldn't eat because they were so hard. Fast forward to my drink. 1 sip and I almost spit it out. Why's my drink warm?!?!? I spoke to the waitress about it and we decided to just drop a few ice cubes inside, no big deal. My second one was about the same so I just put ice cubes in it also. Charging it to the game....maybe she was a new bartender? Maybe she's never made this drink before? I dunno After lunch, my friend and I decided to go to the rooftop for the views and another cocktail. I ordered a French 75 again and when it finally came, this one was cold but the sparkling wine/champagne was flat...zero carbonation. Our waitress was M.I.A. most of the time so I grabbed the other waitress upstairs. She took the drink back and talked to the bartender. He looked highly offended that someone sent back a drink. Whatevs, just fix it right and I'm good. So about 15-20 min passed and I still don't have a drink right? Of course our waitress was nowhere to be found so I stopped the other waitress again and she said she'll check on it. A couple minutes later, our M.I.A. waitress appears and says "You asked about yo drink?" I nod yes, she says "What you want instead of a French 75?" Huh? I want what I ordered! I expressed my concern with the wine not being carbonated and was told that the bartender just opened that bottle and it was fresh. Not true. I let her know that I had just drank 2 downstairs and they tasted nothing like what she attempted to serve me. Her response...."Oh they might have used a different brand". So at this point she's testing my intelligence and to keep my cool I declined a drink, waited for my friend to finish their margarita and left. I don't think I'll be back here anytime soon. Even though the BBQ crab legs are sooooooo good!
