I love This Is It! The food is always delicious and tasty. I was so happy when they started offering healthier options!! I love that these good is fresh and select foods are cook-to-order! I'm generally stop by every week or every other week. You should do the same!

Food was really good. Service line was good. Lots of fresh choices to choose from. All the sides looked wonderful. I needed a veggie plate to go with my dinner plate lol. Our cashier was extremely pregnant and didn't seem to feel well, tired and a bit short with us who were 1st timers in the store. The deserts looked soooo appetizing. The banana puddings whip was peaked and browned to perfection. Strawberry shortcake looked soooo moist. They also had pound cake, key lime cake, and lemon....sooo good. You'll have to stop and get u a plate. U can even order online and it will be ready when u get there. Union City location was only drive thru, online and pick up.

This is it was a fabulous restaurant however the banana pudding tasted old like it had been sitting out for a long period of time other than that the yam the cabbage and the collard greens were screaming excellente. The oxtails were tender and on point with taste.

Highly recommend “This is it!”!! We were in town for the night and found this thru a google search. We got the Atlanta’s Original BBQ Rib Tips and they were delicious. Green beans, mac n cheese, corn & Cole slaw for sides. 10/10!!!!

Food was okay. Didn't like the chicken wings at all. Lacked seasoning. The mac and cheese was good. The catfish was hot, but lacked seasoning as well. The chittlins were great!!!! The service could have been better. Everyone is not a local to ATL or this restaurant, so accurate information on explaining the selections would have been great. The tall guy attitude was not needed either.

I liked that I could try both the fried pork chop and fried Turkey chop. Never heard of a fried Turkey chop but it was good. Both the chops were on a bed of mashed potatoes. A bed of rice or dressing options were also given. My meal was just ok. Glad that I ordered my gravy on the side, it was what they called "yellow gravy" never heard that term but it was gag worthy, ewww. My daughter had the beef ribs, cabbage and rice casserole. She would have rated her meal 1 star, no meat was on those bbq bones and she said her veggies was just meh. Her chocolate cake was the star of her meal. My mom ordered the rib tips, collard greens and rice casserole. She had a lot of leftovers and chose not to refrigerate it bc she said it wasn't worth finishing it (she trashed it). She would have rated it a 1 star bc she liked the key lime cake and my daughter's cabbage that she tasted. So three stars is from 1 star from each of us. Customer service wasn't the greatest but wasn't the worst either. This Black owned business needs a little work with seasoning their food. Wanted to try the oxtails that they serve only on Friday's and Saturdays but too afraid of being disappointed for tastes and amount of meat that I will receive on the bone.

Server need to pay attention to what's ordered. Almost took wrong meal. Greens and dressing good. Ribs ok. Sweet potato pie has odd taste where if i closed my eyes and taste it, you cant tell what it is.Cashier didn't know how to use my gift card so it read "declined". I figured out later he was running as debit and not credit.

C'mon now....THIS IS IT! Food was fantastic!😍 I don't know of another place that serves the vast number of menu items they do! And, I always send people here whenever they ask if I can recommend a good restaurant in Atlanta or if I know of a good soul food place. However,... the customer service is OFTEN a negative - unfortunately:( I've had a LOT of negative experiences with rudeness and unfriendliness, and so have many of the people who I've recommended to go there. But once again, the food is amazing 🤩.

It was my first time coming in tonight and I was pretty excited about how good the food looked online. I walk in and the food looks amazing but the customer service it’s absolute trash everyone had an attitude the whole time. There was a little confusion with which order was mine which was a simple fix but literally every person I talked to you that I had an attitude. Other than that I can’t wait to go home and eat my food!

Okay food and pretty pricey. The ribs could be less tough but that is to be expected when it sits buffet style and has to be reheated. Shrimp is cooked when ordered. Banana pudding was all cookie, it was like eating a cake with banana cream as the frosting. The functionality of the restaurant is pretty confusing, no direction when walking in the door. You have to go to the far right to get to the line, you're not sure if this is a seat yourself restaurant or if you have a waiter. If you have never been you would be some what lost from entering to seating yourself. Couldn't figure out when you get your drinks, found out the waiter's bring them when your food is delivered. The cashier doesn't direct you after you pay if you are eating in, put a number on my tray then went to assist the next client. I guess he assumed we've eaten there before. I think the waiter concept is a bit much for this place, but they were the best at making you feel welcomed. Couldn't read the menu on the TVs because they flashed to pictures a little too fast. The menu should be motionless so people can figure out what their options are. Wasn't sure how many sides you can choose for the plate options on the menu, asked the lady at the Start point and she was not very helpful, you better know what you want before you get to her. Doesn't help a person who has never been to this place. Love supporting black owned businesses but this one makes you not want to come back because your first visit makes you uncomfortable. If they want to change the dining experience, they would need to do better in directing the dine in customers for them to have a better dining experience .

I’ve had my fair share of issues with customer service, even the lighter security guard has been down right rude. I’ve made complaints ect but today Alicia was so quick and efficient pleasant. I’m calling tomorrow to speak with management and to give her a gift card.

I've passed this place more then a few times so I decided to finally give it a shot. I went in around 8:30pm not to busy food looked good but I wasn't that hungry so I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, now the chicken was cooked very well almost perfect but the bun was stale and inedible so I just had to eat the plain chicken breast. Best of luck to them but I'm good

I travel the world looking for great BBQ ... after years of enjoying it while living south of the Mason Dixon line in my college years. Well rarely do I get 5 stars plus on my plate. The 1/2 BBQ Chicken with 2 Cole slaw and a Toasted Buttery Bread slathered in mild BBQ sauce was perfect in every way. The service is perfection and friendly to a point beyond making you feel at home. The ambiance, people watching and great BBQ smell is just delicious. In Seattle there is nothing close.. each Southern State has it's own way- this way was just great. Dont miss this place..This is It!

This is my favorite location. The rib tips were underwhelming because they weren’t as tender as they looked. The meal was still decent and you get your money worth. The oxtails and the desserts are spot on. Stick with those and you won’t be disappointed.

I had a pork chop rice Gravy greens and cabbage with cornbread. It's good . Really good if you can't cook very well. We've eaten here for years. The service is always good and food delicious.

Upon arriving I was greeted and showed where to stand in line. From looking at the menu I knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered the fried catfish fillets with sweet potato soufflé with macaroni and cheese and a cornbread muffin. For my drink I chose a Arnold Palmer. I’m glad I did it was so good and the people fixing the plate gave off a family vibe. I told the lady when I come back I wanna try the Turkey chops with gravy with mashed potatoes and greens.

This is one of their greatest locations. Affordable, if you stay with the specials. Many times a long line. Better now that there is a nearby take out location. Food served cafeteria style. Servers bring you drinks, drink refills, condiments and clear your plates. Be prepared to pay approximately $20... the specials are $8-$12 ands some items are market rate. Drinks are about $3. Tip will be an additional $3.

The best part of my visit to "This Is It " was the strawberry cake. I have never had strawberry cake before. I was recommended by the lady behind the counter, She was not lying. That strawberry 🍓🍓 cake was the best I ever had. Great customer service 👍

This was my first time at the this is it location on camp creek. The appearance on the outside of the restaurant and parking lot were up to par. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. The waiters and waitresses were polite, well dressed. Food was presented and plated nicely. I got excellent service at my table. And I definitely would return. They have a special dinner price that I would recommend anyone to take advantage of.

I did not realize this was a buffet style restaurant! Good prices. My food was good, but I think the green beans were canned and not fresh. I don't like to be served any canned foods when I eat out at restaurants, but I know it's not always avoidable.

I didn' t like the of a customer line using chairs from tables instead of a customer service line that usually restaurants use. Besides the black eyed peas being salty food was okay. I believe the dine in area should have been up-to-date open, friendly, and inviting they were still in that middle of the pandemic setting were they offer limited dine in and it didn't seem comfortable & the customer service line using chairs from tables made it less of a friendly inviting dine in restaurant. Restroom was nice. They charge for a cup and the water dispencer let out clear pink water.

Normally when I come to this location I never have any problems, but today it seems like there is a new staff and it was terrible. It was only three people in line when we arrived. I arrived at 7pm I paid for the two for two for $35 and the grilled tilapia was cook to order. It took over 45 min. Waiting on the grilled tilapia , everyone behind me got there order and left. I’m now leaving at 8:31. They never apologized for taking so long. They never even said welcome like they normally do. They never called there food delicious this time. Attitudes was really bad except for the guy that took the order. If this is the new way of business, I will go somewhere else next time. The owner’s should be disappointed in the new staff.

This is the only This Is It that I visit when I go to ATL. Other locations do not have the same shrimp and fish options. The service is great and moves pretty quickly. The Mac and cheese, potato salad, and cabbage are my favorite sides. Can't wait for my next visit.

The food was delicious. For a place that has COVID-19 signage all over it wasn't clean. Dust and grime built up on the napkin dispensers. The dining area was closed leaving everyone to gather around the counter after placing their order, ignoring the abundance of social distancing signs placed throughout the building. Good food but I will likely not return.

I was in Atlanta for the weekend for a conference and didn't have time to get much pay my hotel Luckily This Is It! shared a parking lot with my hotel. It was the only non hotel food I had all weekend. I had the rib tips, greens and cole slaw. Everything was good, would definitely go back. Service was a little disjointed and the slaw, while good, was nothing to write home about. Overall, for a quick comfort meal, I recommend it.

The amount of food that you get for the cost that you pay is enough for at least two full meals! This is some of the best soul food I have ever had outside of my grandmother's cooking. When I am back in Atlanta I will be frequently coming to this place for sure!

"This is it BBQ" was a backup to a planned catering event and "This is it BBQ" came through for us. The only thing is that they do not provide any services on Sunday which is when most catering events occur Sat or Sun. However all in all the food was great and a hit with guest.

Although everything I saw looked good. It didn't taste like it. I told them I was a first time customer and what is good on the menu. I asked about the rib tips and was it seasoned right or just covered with bar b que sauce. The guy stated it was good and I can get it without the sauce. I tried it with the cream spinach and baked beans. The tips were not seasoned as I was afraid but the cream spinach and baked beans were good. I wasn't impressed but I will give them another try when I come back to ATL later this spring. Hopefully I will have better results. The customer appreciations was mediocre. I gave them a nice tip despite it all. They may have been ready to go because it was late.

Great food. Bad pickup for Christmas Eve large order. One door has pickup online order, but I was sent to the main buffet line. Wrong. There was an pickup window with no cashier assigned. Very, very slow service. Everyone was confused about being in the correct line. The sign is not facing the entrance. I received half of my order in error, it took forever to receive the other half. Better signs and directions would have helped tremendously. At least the food was delicious.

This food is really over priced. Today I got the 6 or 7 smoked wings, cabbage, broccoli casserole. The wings and the casserole seem old like cooked a couple days ago. I also got the fried fish sandwich. $27. I think I'll take a break from going there.

Great selection of poultry, fish, pork, vegetables, casseroles, breads and desserts. The food was delicious. We had the wings, whiting's, broccoli and rice casserole, string beans cabbage, Cole slaw, strawberry shortcake, peach cobby tea and lemonade. All of the food was delicious. The lemonade was too sweet, so added a half cup of water to be able to drink it. The reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 was the table we're not being kept wiped off. I requested a wet towel to wipe the table down. I was told several times, someone was coming to wipe them off, but that someone never showed up, therefore we carried our food with us

Staff was friendly and helpful it was busy but the wait wasn't too bad. Their fried chicken is great! Other meats not so much we had rib tips brisket and barbecue chicken not much flavor. I appreciate the fact that they don't use me cooking their greens or cabbage however they need more seasoning. It tastes just like they were boiled, no flavor.

I had a 5 hour layover so I was having dinner with family. I drank the lemonade and peach lemonade and sweet tea. I enjoyed the food. Turkey Chop smothered in gravy, yellow rice greens, cabbage and a banana pudding Shrimp, red beans, macaroni and cheese and strawberry shortcake. I like the food they need a better system for the ordering process. Check in time and order the order was taken. I live in Minnesota so brining dinner home on an airplane the packing was sub par it was a 2 hour flight and the boxes came apart.

They need to do better with their service line. I waited 45 minutes in line for food thats already prepared, and it was only about 7 customers in front of me. Then I asked for my potato salad in a separate container from my hot food, and they only gave me 1 little scoop. I asked why is it that they give more in the container with the hot food, and less on the side, and there was no justification. She said I would have to get it in the container with the hot food if I wanted more, and thats ultimately what I had to do. The rib tip portion was extremely small, and the meat was cut so small, I had to ask for more. Considering they want almost $20 for a plate. Then to add insult to injury once I got in my vehicle and attempted to taste them it was cold. I was over it at that point. Completely felt ripped off and dissatisfied.

Very delicious food. I ordered a chopped chicken sandwich and i will be back for more bc BAYBAY!!! that sandwich touched every piece of my soul. Their BBQ sauce is divine...my meal came with two sides and I chose the broccoli cheese casserole and green beans. Granted I paid almost $20 for my meal, it was still delicious.

This has ALWAYS been my MUST VISIT spots when I'm in Atlanta. Regretfully, this was my first time of disappointment. My connecting flight in Atlanta w/a 6 hour layover so I hopped through channels to get a plate of oxtails, greens & potatoe souffle. The oxtails were cooked like a pot of stew and the flavor was less than savory. I was quite disappointed when I finally day down in the airport to dig into this plate that had historically put me to sleep. Needless to say, the modified recipe (oxtail & souffle) was not tantalizing fore on this trip. I will give them another chance during my next visit to Atlanta (Camp Creek location). #TexasLouisianaGirl

Mostly when I go here, I'm getting food for my mom. I'm not a fan. It's just not all that to me. And it's beyond overpriced. I don't understand the hype. I'll take Piccadilly at Greenbriar over this. Maybe even Big Daddy's on Campbellton, but to each it's own...🤷🏾‍♀️ This past experience, I got fried chicken, collards and Mac and cheese for my 8 year old daughter. She always wants Mac and cheese but that was the one thing she left behind. She said it wasn't good. But everything else, she demolished.

I ordered waaaay too much but I enjoyed everything I got. Great job guys. I will be back when I can control my eyes from making me overspend and overeat. 😁

Amazing food and service! Got the 6 piece jumbo wings and I can definitely vouch for size! Huge wings, Mac and cheese was good. Didn’t need nothing extra for my greens or baked beans 😍. I don’t even eat pie but the sweet potato pie here changed my life. Love it here …

So the food is good most of the time. The full restaurant has big issues with logistics and customer care. They need to invest in technology to help with filling orders. We've been standing in the line for 30 minutes and the folks they have adding side dishes to the food trays are clueless and lost. Its a perfect example of turning an efficient restaurant model into a bastion of inefficiency. By the time the poor kid gets to our trays and adds our sides, our meat will be cold.

The food was great... worth the wait... But it took about 25-30 minutes to move through the line from entry to eating... That seems odd being that it's buffet serving style and there were about 8 people behind the counter...a better system or line set up might help move the line faster... Like Piccadilly... The food is no where near as good but you getting to it in 10 minutes, 15 max even in the dinner rush...

Oh yes! This was it! The line was 15 people deep but my kid had seen and repeated the commercial so many times so we'd driven there to "taste the rib tips!" Despite the line, things moved fast and the staff so efficient that before we knew it we sat at the table feasting on greens,black eyed peas, baked chicken, slaw, cornbread, mac n cheese, cabbage,rice and maybe a little banana pudding or sweet potato souffle. I couldn't eat it all so I brought my salmon and rice home. We'll get rib tips next time!

I wish they would stay consistent in their food quality. I don't eat the hot table foods. I only order fish w/ fries, most times the fries are horrible. The rice is the most consistent thing, according to other guest I've been with, everything else is very hit or miss. You're literally rolling the dice on every visit.

This is it was definitely it. I ordered the rib tips with Mac n cheese n baked beans. Baked beans and macaroni were okay could have used seasoning but was good. The rib tips were amazing. And the peach cobbler was just like grandma used to make. The fried chicken and the turkey chops looked great also. Will definitely go back.

Great customer service first of all! I was expecting the red velvet cake and sweet potato pie to be out of this world because they looked so good and they were very underwhelming. The red velvet had no flavor of cocoa at all, the pie tasted store bought. The entree portions were large and the food was fresh, I would return but try something else next time. The creamed corn was delicious !

I always frequent this location. About 2 weeks ago I accidentally left my coin purse at this location with all of my identification, credit and debit cards in it! I searched everywhere I had given up and began to order new cards..The entire time I was monitoring my accounts and noticing no activity on them so I thought I may have misplaced it at home..When I hadn't picked it up a week plus later, the manager looked in the coin purse and found my number! She called me to come and get it..I was so relieved..There are still some decent people in this world. Go by there and get a plate when you want soul food..The food and the staff are goodt!

Covid made us sit outside. After 7hrs drive from Orlando to Atlanta i was hoping to sit down inside. The beef ribs were smallish so he gave me 4 bones. The sauce was excellent. My co pilot had fried wings. excellent . We also ordered fried whiting (fish.) The whipped sweet potatoes was off the chain. Cole slaw,mix rice with broccoli, corn bread,mac n cheese made up the rest of our meal.i split it 60/40.im not watching my weight. I'll be back in December.

The vegetables (pinto beans) had a rich flavor as if cooked with meat, but the sign said they were not. The beef brisket was dry, but it had a decent flavor. The sauce helped. The man serving the food was very helpful and nice. He didn't rush us to order. One of the other workers on the line offered us a sample, so we could decide which meat we wanted. We had 2 meals with a drink and dessert for $30. The portions were reasonable. The lemonade was delicious too be, but would be very sweet to most people.

Ok customer service. Fast with many people in the restaurant! Clean throughout! Some servers used great communication with one another and helped speed the process, though they can work on trying to make sales and upselling delicious items (part of the This Is It BBQ mantra that I look forward to seeing and experiencing is going above and beyond with upsizing and upselling and that was non-existent; I did not hear delicious, not once). I ordered the four veggie plate. I communicated poorly with what I wanted and yes, there was a visible communication gap with both me and the server, but great customer service is able to see a breakdown, adjust accordingly, smile, and apologise. So there was a wait in service to tell her exactly how to set up my plate. What made it difficult and untimely (sped down the order line and wait) was she was not smiling nor was she cordial, just going through the motions. She finally received help but could have upsold me with one of the items that was put back. The cashier did not ask if I wanted a drink, an upsize as I asked for a drink, or a dessert. I didn't even get a have a nice day. My food was hot and tasteful! The manager, who looks like Ron Winans, was kind, funny, and genuine with the guests! He even upsold several patrons for bigger sizes, deals, and portions. Looks like this location needs more training in hospitality. But I would come back.

Good good but service was meh... menus weren't available until we it was our turn to go and we had to choose between holding up the line or picking quickly. Again the food was delicious which is the saving grace but the way the server scurried us along and seemed uninterested in questions we had was such a turnoff that I almost just left.

I am in town on business and decided to stop here for a bite. The line was long, so I assumed it was a great place for food. I was right!! I waited in line for nearly 30 minutes for some grilled tilapia. It was deliciously soulful food!! They do not have dine in, due to COVID-19, but they run a very well oiled machine. If you're in the area, stop by and get some grub!!

This Is It has always been a house favorite but tonight Mrs. Joy saved the day. After finding out I had been scammed by my previous caterer I called in thirty minutes before This Is It closed and asked if her team could cater for 30 people. This is on a Saturday evening when I'm sure everyone was ready to go home and they were closed Sundays. She pulled off a huge last minute order right before they closed and my son's third birthday will go off without missing a beat. Wow, this was very tasty. Next time I'm in the area, it's a must. The manager was very accommodating to our party of 40. Our foodd was excellent, seasoned well and hot. The 2 for $29 was an excellent choice for our group. If you're in the Camp Creek area, make your way to see George and his crew. They'll be sure to take good care of you.

Service soooo much better compared to when I used to come a few years ago! Food always excellent! Also, I appreciate so much that they listen to customers. So about a month ago, i let them know on a couple of previous visits that my regular dish, the neckbones, were too salty. Food was on point as usual the problem was the line 1st they adv this great deal which you can see from the waiting line but 2nd they don't tell you what it is until you get to the window now that you you're at the window she tells me the deal but can't make up your mind 3rd. I really want to give them a 3 in a half but I’ll settle for 4. Went to the camp creek location and this was my experience. Order the ribs tips which was wonderful it’s a bit pricey considering the fact it’s not a buffet But you definitely paying the price of one.😒😒 my drinks came to 2.99 each which is highway robbery. The banana pudding was absolutely disgusting none of my kids wanted to eat it and they pretty much devour everything (what a bummer) and on top of that the lady at the register had a attitude with the customer’s which is unfortunate because she could went into the back if she didn’t wasn’t to deal with paying customers. But the place was clean 🧼 🙂 (“that’s always a plus”). Will I go there again?? To that location only if it’s the only one around and I will definitely order water no matter what I have a taste and no banana pudding 🤮🤢 or if it’s there only thing open( definitely). Would I recommend it. NO the tips were good but nothing to write home about and like I said “pricey” for that Quantity and quality it’s not worth it. NEXT. #myopinion

Good food in a cafeteria type atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly. My last visit, I picked up a veggie plate for my husband. I was in and out in a good time and when I got home my hubby INHALED the food. I stole his Mac n cheese... It was FIVE STAR Mac n cheese, but the portion was a bit small compared to other sides. I had asked the lady to put it in a separate container because I knew I was going to steal it and I didn't want green juice in my Mac..... Right? But at first she put it in the big to go compartment plate, it was a HUGE HEAP, but when I reminded her that I wanted it in a separate container, she scooped out the huge heap and put a much smaller amount in this little to go container. Needless to stay I had my lip stuck out and I was not happy. But I didn't say anything, went home and enjoyed the meal.

I'm from NOLA, so it's hard to find a place with good food outside my hometown! We mainly went there because they were one of the only pace that was opened on Thanksgiving, it's black owned and they serve soul food. We figured that we couldn't go wrong with this selection! This was my first visit. My Mother and I went on Saturday night at dinner time. The line was long and slow. Trust me - the wait was worth it! The rib tips and brisket were off the chain! My sides were greens and black eyed peas. Mom had potato salad which described as “homemade.” The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Prices rare reasonable and the portions are very good. There are so many good restaurants in the ATL. However, TII is now in my inner circle of FIVE. You will not be disappointed.

It's funny, I've been eating BBQ all across the country since '95, and I've never run across a This Is It! until now. I'm very happy I did. All the food was right there on front of you on the line and every single thing looked absolutely great well-prepared fresh ingredients everything. the counter folks were very friendly and joking around and smile and which is always a positive part of any experience. The servings turned out to be very generous. I had a brisket tips that were awesome the mac and cheese is definitely a do not miss the beans were awesome the regular beans and everything just looks like a crazy incredible BBQ joint. Whenever I see one I will be stopping in, although I'm not in the ATL as often as I would like to cuz this place is flat-out cool o, y'all... 🖖🤙✌️ The dining room is nice to eat in they have a sort of table service person looking after you and it's very nicely decorated IMHO. My party of four patiently waited in a long line to order our dinners to eat in. We paid and waited 45 minutes to receive partial orders. We wiped our own tables off. I had to ask the server about our order before he even attempted to ask us anything. We did not have enough silverware. The manager came by our table after my sister asked for her money back. Asked what we were missing. We advised that we were missing two orders of rice and an order of green beans. She brought back two orders of rice and an order of collard greens which were not ordered and I still did not get my green beans. I had to go refill my tables drinks. The server never came to check on us not one time.

The food was very good everything I ordered was superb and the sides were surprisingly WOW!. It’s rare have the entree and sides equally delicious. The problem is not the food it is the ridiculous long wait. I waited 40 minutes for food that is prepared and sitting waiting to be served. Overall the food is seasoned well. The Barbecue is overrated. I've definitely had better. Maybe it was just an off day because the peach cobbler was really runny also. I've had cobbler there before, so I noticed the difference. They poured barbecue sauce in with my sweet potato and the sweet potatoes were good I may add. I just didnt eat all of them because they were drenched in sauce from my Rib tips. Maybe new employees!!

I placed my online order at 7:52p, with the hopes of being able to get in and out. Unfortunately, that would not happen. Upon my arrival, the line for waiting customers was almost out of the door. And I thought about how glad I was to have put in an online order. But there was no clear signage to direct me for already placed orders. And because it was so busy, it took a minute to get the attention of a passing server to inquire. And after being directed to bypass the line and go straight to the register, it was still like playing a game of Twister. Only one register was open to serve both onsite orders and online/call in orders. Which was NOT a pleasant experience, especially since my order wasn't ready. I had to "dance" around other customers while waiting an additional 20-30 minutes for my order to be prepared. The food was good. The service was not good. It completely defeated the purpose of placing an online order.

4.5 Stars. It's a Saturday and I should have called ahead! Here actively in line bent backwards in the building. Great customer Service and great food. I love that they have all types of soul food. I do not recommend coming into the location on Friday or Saturday evening if you have not called in ADVANCE. It's about 7:30pm and it is wrapped inside the building, so save a trip and some frustration and call ahead. It's worth the wait.

I continue to go for the Tuesday buy 1 get 1 veggie plate. The cabbage and corn are my favorites. They run out of cabbage often. I visited today and last Monday. My last visit (MLK Day) the meatloaf was horrible. We threw it out. The customer service is very good. People smile, they seem helpful even when a customer is undecided. I talk about the customer experience more than I do the food. My only one rude experience was last week with Lorethia (or something like that) she was being unnecessarily rude. Parking horrible - very hard to get in and out when it's really busy. Again I give customer service a 4. Food a 3 only bc some food is sitting and the presentation impacts desire to want to purchase so I never take a risk to try it. Know they have cafeteria style set up and you can order off of a menu for "cook to order" options. Stay away from mac n cheese and ribs. Nothing that good. GREAT customer service!!!!

Technically I'll give them 3.5 stars but the service was pretty good. This Is It kinda fell off for me because they seem to be "watered down" as they got bigger but this location was pretty good. Line was long as hell but it seemed as little longer because is social distancing. There was this one girl in there with a baby. She had braids and a flower dress and was thick. What a great find. It was recommended as a must do by one of the local hotels to the point that he would pay for our meal if we didn’t like it. Well, it was really great. I’d call it a bit of bbq and a bit of fish camp with really fantastic home cooked sides. I had the rib ends with collards and the Mac and cheese. Well done, big portions, and reasonable price. Others at the table had fried catfish that I tasted, tender and perfectly cooked. I’ll be back.

Pretty good soul food. We typically stop here when picking someone up from the airport. I can't name a good item that you just have to have or that will keep you coming back. It's more of a convenience/location, coupled with it's the type of food we want (soul). They can be a bit on the pricey side. Wait time can be long depending on the time/line. But overall, it's a good choice for the area.

I use to go here all the time, but there are a few reasons I don't anymore. (1) The female manager that has been there the longest is not the friendliest. It's her tone of voice that's not appropriate. (2) The service is much slower now. (3) The prices are up there. I must say out of all the This Is It's I have been to this by far is the location with the best food. If they can work on management and faster service this place will be it. I think if the management is friendlier the team will be friendlier.

My daughter wanted comfort food, because we had just traveled a long distance- As we left the highway, I saw "This Is It!". . . Not only did we get comfort food, but some of the best soul food on the planet! There were a plethora of delicious food items from which to choose. . . My veggie plate was super satisfying!!! Great service 1st time at this location. BBQ was great fried chicken was great mac and cheese was good greens were out of can at this location ( Glory greens) Cornbread was awesome TX toast was dry. This location has a cafeteria style and all the food looked great. The cook the chicken and fish to order. Lemonade was koolaid nothing special. Service was great everyone was pleasant. Parking was tight.

I've eaten here before but on June 10th, whoever fried the chicken around 3 that day did the work of God. My God! It was the most perfect chicken I've ever tasted. Golden beautiful brown, perfect skin to meat ratio, fresh and very flavorful! The mac and cheese, delish, and the greens shredded and perfectly tender. Keep this up and pass it along to the Smyrna location, they need some help over there.

Update: Food here is pretty tasty! However, long, slow moving lines and prices a bit too high for the quality of food being sold can discourage some from returning. This was my moma and I first time visiting at this location and was highly dissatisfied. We ordered two 3 veggie meals with 2 deserts which was right at $30.00. I just think that the serving portions should match the cost! Then the staff were unhappy and unprofessional in front of the customers. We witnessed a young male cashier getting into it with a older female who was serving the customers at the buffet. We also witnessed the seniorities standing back doing absolutely nothing while they were allowing the New comers do all of the work. I feel whoever is the store owner at Camp Creek location needs to have a meeting with the entire staff; store/shifts managers and all to find out who needs to stay or be replaced because everyone wants to be the BOSS.🤔😐😑😏😣😡👎

Taste of food declining. I had chitterlings with cream corn and sweet patato souffle. The chitterlings didn't taste good. Not for sure what that added flavor but didn't taste good at all. The corn was old, usually the corn is a mixture of firm and soft, this was all soft or old. Very disappointed in the decline but Rocardo my server was great!

The chitlins were good. For over 15 years we have been buying chitlins from This Is It and not one disappointment on the chitlins. However, my Southern Fried Chicken was hard. I've had the fried chicken before and it was really good, but today it was not the best. The service was ok.

Was told this was the place to get Soul Food from the people at the airport, was a little disappointed since this was my only stop to get soul food. There are a lot of options though, it seems very much like a Luby's cafeteria style. I got the chicken, it was okay, nothing special. I got mac and cheese and fries as the side it too was okay, better than the chicken though. In addition I got the toast and that was not good, it was cold and not toasted at all. It's pretty pricey though, considering the food. A little weird set up, you go through the ordering line then you sit down but have a server who brings your drinks and napkins. Odd set up for me, even coming from the South.

I love This Is It! The rib tips are the best and their banana pudding is amazing! This location is pretty crowded in the evenings on Friday and Saturday but the lines move pretty fast. Make sure you get the peach drink--it's the best drink ever if you like sweet drinks. There is a To-Go This Is It across the street if you want to really be in and out. I go there the most since that one opened.

My family and I came here back in 2013 for the first time right down the road from family house I was visiting. We was visiting from Austin,TX which they don't have any soul food places like this and I told the manager they should bring one of these to Texas it would do really well. He said people eat too much in Texas lol and they would have to raise the prices lol but back to the food it was really good no complaint's I will definitely come back to this particular location when I come back to Atlanta. I had the smothered pork chops, and boy did they smother them. I could have created another chop with the amount of gravy they put on the plate. It was like a treasure hunt for your meat. But once pass that it was overall delicious! I would go again, but next time order a plain chop NO gravy.

They don't post the prices of food items. You have to find out at cash register. I've been once and I only wanted peach cobbler. There were 3 sizes and I chose the medium one but I didn't find out the price of it until I was checking out.

Awesome! I had 1/2 rack of ribs with 2 sides and a drink. Just less than $20. You stand in line and order what's in front of you. Service is amazing. Everyone there was nice as can be.

I always order the rib tip dinner but the first time here at the Camp Creek store. Tastes dry and old as well no sauce so only ate my side veggies. Be warned make sure to check your food before leaving with a $17 dinner that's not worth it.

I understand why they say the women have attitudes. Maybe they had a long day. With some mild politeness they will smile back. I ordered the tilapia, broccoli and sweet potatoes. It was ok for a late night dinner. They were out of most of anything I would order or drink, but it hit the spot.
