Pretty good! We would actually give it a 4+ ! 🌟🌟🌟🌟➕️ The seafood was prepared well. Not overcooked. Freely coming away from the shells. We had Dungeness & Snow Crabs and Shrimp w/ No heads. The fried rice was really fresh, fluffy, and tasty. We loved the veggies in it. The drinks were made pretty nicely. We had a 🍋 drop and another pink mixed drink my husband can't remember the name of. ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ However, while the sauce was very tasty, those with High Blood Pressure should be cautious of the high salt content in the Pirates Secret Sauce.

We had the Starter bag, BBQ wings and whiting fried basket. The food was more tasty compared to other seafood spots. The venue was spacious and music is played in the background not overwhelming you can still have a conversation. Maria C. service was excellent. The whiting was tasty but a lot of salt. I would recommend cleaning the wall next to the table lots of splashes from the seafood has accumulated. The entry way I liked the signage eon the floor made of lights.

First time here while visiting from Texas. The food and drinks were really good. They had something called “Juicy Broccoli” where they cook it in there “juicy” sauce and that was pretty good just will say it was a little watery and I felt they should have sautéed the broccoli in the sauce first and also made it a little thicker. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered 1lb of shrimp in the medium sauce with Cajun fries. We also ordered crawfish and calamari. The sauce the crawfish was in was very salty, that would be the only issue with that dish. Overall it was really good.

I went here last night with a friend and I was extremely impressed with the quality of the food and the service we received. We ordered the hush puppies and fried rice for appetizers which I would recommend. The both are large enough to share between 2 people. Then we had the fried whiting basket with onion rings. I highly recommend their onion rings. Mostly onion nice batter with a spicy sauce which was same sauce we had for hush puppies. We got treasure chest bag with pirates sauce and medium spice. This is by far the best seafood in a bag place I’ve been to in ATL. It was not extra greasy. Thanks to my server for trying to get the cook to add shrimp to my fried rice. He was u successful but thanks for trying!!

Look. Look. Loooooooooook. This was my first time and I am hooked. I had the Treasure Chest w Cajun garlic butter. It was simply an excellent and delicious meal. I definitely did my happy dance in my seat. Jenny was our waitress and took care of us. I am definitely coming back.

Located in an unassuming strip mall not far from The Battery, the interior is spacious and bright. Four of us were craving some Viet-Cajun style seafood and The Pirate's Boil has good reviews. The fried pickles and onion ring appetizers were standard fare. We all ordered different seafood combos and spice levels and enjoyed it all. The menu also has fried seafood and chicken options and sandwiches. I can see this place rocking in the evenings or if a good game is on. The long bar area is nice and there are TVs everywhere.

I stumbled upon this restaurant one weekday while I was perusing other stores in the area. Love that they have beers 🍻 on tap. I had a Sam Adam's October Fest. I had snow crab 🦀 legs and 1/2 pound of shrimp 🍤 in a medium spicy sauce. It comes with a potato and 🌽 Staff was a bit scarce but made it work. I'm not here for the frills so I would visit on the weekdays and take some pics by the lighted wall!

I went with a friend to The Pirate's Boil for the first time and was surprised by how detailed the Halloween themed decor was throughout the restaurant. After looking over the menu, my friend and I decided to order their po boy shrimp with sweet potato fries and fish basket lunch special....which was fresh, well seasoned and delicious! I love this place already!!!!! We will definitely be back!

This place was OK at best. Service was friendly but really really slow. Considering it was a Tuesday night no excuses. I had the shrimp and crawfish boil with their house special sauce. The shrimp were good and tasted fairly fresh the crawfish were a good size but nothing special. We did have raw oysters as well and those were the star of the night. Huge and super fresh tasting. Glad we went but probably not going back. My wife had a shrimp poboy and again it was good but nothing special.

This place was amazing! Literally so cheap and so delicious. Came to Atlanta CRAVING a good seafood boil and this place was recommended to us and thank god it was. Our waitress Taylar was also the sweetest and super helpful.

The restaurant was nice. Its a huge space with free parking so we didn't feel too crowded inside. It was nice and spacious. Also, the music was a good mix of old and new hip hop/ r&b. The food had highs and lows. I loved my wings, fries and the hushpuppies. However, the corn fritters and fried pickles didn't give the flavor that i was hoping for. Also, it took really long to come out. Overall I might come back here for the music and the wings. The bar seemed to be a nice vibe and I'm sure it gets lit on the weekends.

We really enjoyed it here. The food was great and our server Britanny was just good. We had calamari, 2 starter bags and two clusters of crabs. I think it’s hard to find good calamari in atlanta. And they did it right. Look forward to coming back.

Love, love, love this place! My husband and I moved to Smyrna and after reading the reviews we decided to try it for our date night and the food was amazingly delicious.( this spot was our date night of choice so we have tried almost everything on the menu) The Cajun fries are the better choice, the scrimp and oysters are extremely fresh and exceptionally large. The catfish is fried hard so it’s not mushy and as for the salt content you have options. They have several different seasonings to choose so you have the option to make it hot, mild, garlicky, lemon pepper or salty. My husband and I are in Gwinette and after trying several different seafood places here we still prefer stopping by The Pirates Boil whenever we are in close proximity. It’s a must try if you like seafood. We love this place 🥰

Love the Pirate Boil, they suit you up with a bib and gloves although id suggest bring some fitted latex ones for better grip. The seafood is served in a bag with corn , potatoes sausage and a egg . Your choice of butter seasoning. The corn fritter are Delicious, fried with a creamy corn center. The restaurant is still observing social distancing so you may find a short wait. Worth the trip.

Treated here by our son for our 27th anniversary. My wife and I just wanted a lite lunch. We ordered the poboy shrimp and catfish baskets with onion rings. Our son ordered the dungeons crab boil. My family visited yesterday and let me say it was the best that I've had and I've tried almost every seafood restaurant that serves the same. The atmosphere was great they have many TVs and changed channels upon request our waiter was great and the food was awesome my 8 and 2 year Olds even loved it and we kno how picky children can be. The seasoning is way better than all the others.

Great seafood. Incredible sauce. Be sure to use the bib. They deliver it in a bucket. Plastic gloves are given too so you don’t have to get the sauce all over your hands. Reasonable prices

The shrimp po'boy here absolutely knocked me off my socks. The sauce, fresh bread, crisp lettuce/tomato, plus freshly fried shrimp was *chef's kiss*. Unfortunately the fried whiting basket was not as good - the fried whiting tasted grassy and bitter for me. My friend did enjoy the fish / fry basket though, so depends on preference I suppose. The po'boy is enough to bring me back.

Firstly I appreciate them taking necessary precautions during COVID. Starting from the host to the server, all were very courteous and pleasant. Of course they were in Halloween mode so we also got to witness cute costume selections by the staff. Food was amazing. I didn’t go with any of The Experience because it contained sausage (pork) as such we build our own. House seasoning is amazing and we are definitely visiting again soon.

Solid seafood boil option. You can easily get seated here without the long wait. The fried pickles were delicious! & not too salty. Seafood boil is good and you definitely get a lot more food but the boil seasoning flavors just aren’t all the way there. My crab legs were definitely not as clean and you can taste it. I will say I have never been to the Juicy Crab location in Smyrna so I can only compare to the Duluth location, which is amazing! However, based on the other reviews I would choose this place over the JC Smyrna location if I was trying to stay somewhat local just off the wait and service aspects. However, I would recommend this place invest more into their plastics - gloves and table covers are kinda cheap and forks and knives are cheap plastic as well. Overall you will leave full and satisfied just not overly amazed.

YEP this is my new go to seafood spot! I absolute loved the food. We started with a basket of fried oysters, fiesta poppers,Cajun fries and fried pickles. Which were all amazing, I got a 1lb order of king crab with lobster tail add on, I choose the pirates secret seasoning/mild. Honestly have no complaints about this place. The food had lots of flavor and the wait wasn’t long.

This seafood establishment is very well put together, nice, clean and our waitress was great. I ordered one claw, corn and potato with medium flavor and to be completely honest it was bland. The catfish wasn’t fried hard. It was piping hot but mushy. The calamari was great though. I don’t think I’ll return. Juicy crab is better.

Exceptional service and cleanliness but the food and drink lack punch! I wanna love this place, currently in a state of like. Even though Juicy Crab can be so unprofessional, the food is undeniably good! Overall, I would recommend you give this place a try. Not a lot to dislike but if you're used to certain flavors the food may fall flat. **Update. Decided to give it a try again because JC was closed and the food was much better this time. Very clean. Wasn't a ton of people during the lunch hour but the service was great again also.

So, so, so good. The seafood tasted fresh and well seasoned. 100% better than Juicy Crab. We got a seafood bag with shrimp, sausages, corn, boiled egg with the kid's seasoning because I am a wimp when it comes to spice. It was so delicious. We also got a po boy plate and wings. They were great as well. The drinks were pretty good and our server was very nice.

Went for lunch after realizing they had a full service bar. Ordered a Pabst Blue Ribbon draft beer and the Fried Shrimp Basket. The food arrived quickly and hot! 8 pieces of perfectly seasoned, lightly battered large (tail on) shrimp and crispy onion rings, served with cocktail sauce. I devoured everything including the tails of the shrimp. The decorum hinted at nautical theme and the music was at a perfect volume. Be it date night or a just out with friends or family; the Pirate's Boil can easily accommodate a party of one as well as large parties.

Easy one of the best seafood restaurants out there. Their Cajun Calamari is a best option to start out your journey. The Juicy Cajun and Pirate's Secret sauces are the ones to get; very rich in flavor. The foods are super fresh and delicious. For the drink, you should try the Whatever Drink, very good. They are the Juicy Crab Killer right there!

Good & tastes better to me than Juicy Crab because it is not overwhelmingly garlicky and it includes eggs, potatoes, sausage, and corn without having too add them at an additional price but beware that the MILD spice level is a HOT SPICY seasoning. My nose was running I couldn’t fully enjoy it the way I wanted to because it was so spicy.

Tried this fairly new place for lunch on a weekend, loved the food! We took the starter bag from the experience section with pirates secret seasoning (spice level - hot) and Cajun calamari. Shrimp (head off) was fresh and crisp and well soaked in with the seasoning, bag also had the corn, potatoes, egg and sausages.. is a real deal for the price, come in with a good appetite. The corn was so juicy and yumm, me and wife loved it. Calamari appetizer was so great too, well coated and fried just right! Quantity was great too. Service was good and ambience was bright and lively too, has plenty of tables! And yes, you get the bib and the gloves too to add to the dining experience.. Will return and won’t be surprised to see a wait time next time around.

The food was delicious, the customer service was at a 4 but was bumped to a 5 after getting management involved, who was exceptional, and wanted to ensure a great experience. My second experience today called for 2 trips in one day, yes 2! The customer service was great, the food was great, and my meal was packed with everything as if I was dining at the restaurant. The drinks, adult Caprisuns, are flavorful, with the perfect balance of alcohol and juice. My favorites are Whatever and 2nd Chance. Perks: Make your order online, tip, and receive an email of when it will be done. Arrive to pick up your order with little to no wait. Enjoy!

Service was great. Food was great. Music was great. They could use about 3-5 more servers to allow guest a better experience. Our server had 6 or 7 tables and I can image how difficult it can be to be equally be attentive to that many guests.

Found this place on pinterest and wanted to give a try. I'm a foodie and been to alot of restaurants in and around Atlanta metro area. Food was delicious, wish the serving would of been a bit more. When arrived the first server was not very good, we had 3 little children with us that weren't eating so we had an issue that had to speak with manager then requested a new table since paying 18% gratuity wan't to give to server who deserves it.

It was my son and I's first time coming here. I have never heard of this place. Brittany B was our server. She was very nice and was attenive. The place is very laid back, fun and has a unique, party, hip atmosphere. For lunch, I had the shrimp poboy. It was delicious. My son had the chicken wings basket and he enjoyed it. Definitely would recommend and come again for one of the seafood specials at a later date.

Me and my husband enjoyed this place so much! This was our first time trying it and it exceeded our expectations. We love trying new seafood spots around town and this is by far one of our faves! The Pirate's Boil. Nice decor, plenty of parking, and prices not too expensive. I'm not a seafood guy so this review is about their chicken wings, onion rings, and hush puppies. None of the three items are nasty but none of the three stand out. My lady had the crab boil and she liked it so take this review with a grain of salt.

This place has some great tasting food. The prices are a bit high for what they offer on their boils. The boil options were not the best. If you wanted variety you had to make your own which was way more expensive. The drinks were nice and strong but that one drink for $28 was not it. The cup they show in the pictures is NOT the cup you get. It's not big what so ever (unless they changed it recently) so be aware of that. The bartender (who was also our server) was not friendly either. But if you're not a person that minds prices and people then go here for good food.

I enjoyed my boil bag, the spice level was to my liking and the flavor on point. They were able to accommodate my large party. My only complaint was the waitress left our empty cups on the table after bringing refills instead of removing them and she completely forgot the margarita I ordered. Otherwise, things were cool!

started off with cajun fries that wasn’t very cajun-y got a boil with snow crab, corn, potato, and sausage and steamed rice the quality of the crab was really good but the sauce was too salty and wasn’t liquid enough if that makes sense it was just a whole bunch of minced garlic. it was still satisfying but juicy crab is definitely better for the taste the waitress we had was very nice and attentive she definitely added to the experience wish i remembered her name

Been living in this area for 8 years and why am I just finding out about this place. Literally just ate here three days in a row this week. First two day’s did the fried shrimp basket and the third did the catfish basket. Everything hot and fresh every single time. Hush puppies are bomb too!!!!!

The food... AMAZING! The absolutely horrible service is why there isn't 5 stars. Listen... it was a business trip which means tips are at minimum 20 to 25%. We all got the experience... service was SO BAD I tipped based off that and not a percentage. I should never have to ask for that many items that many times. And calling bluff on servers getting in trouble for giving a customer that's dropping $50 per plate a bit of mayo. To the cooks in the back... yall hit it out if the park on every dish... delicious!

This is my first time eating at this establishment. The management n staff are amazing. Very friendly n great service! I got my order to go. I ordered the Dungeness crab boil. I will probably never get it again. It was not at all what I expected. Some parts of the meat was black n it wasn't meaty as I expected it to be. . I've never seen that before. I was most definitely not satisfied. The sauce n everything else was amazing. I'll give it another try n try snow crabs next time.

Oh my this place was sooo Super Good!!! First of ALL the service was so AWESOME and Fast. My dinner came like minutes later less then 5 after placing it. My appetizer was to take home. My WAITER I had to ask the manager to give her a raise. The food was hot, delicious, plentiful, and the corn wasn't over cooked. We had a party of 25 and JMIKAEL or Shemika had all the orders right. First let me say this is my first seafood boil experience ever and I must say this establishment did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing. My meal (the King Crab and lobster tail) was seasoned to perfection, it was hot, tender, and plentiful. The waiter was attentive and nice. Upon entering you past spaced out tables and a bar that sit in a building of a sea themed decor. The last thing I noticed was how nice the music was. I do plan to visit this place again! Be prepared to spend at least $100. To me this is a decent price becaue it was worth every penny!

I visited this restaurant yesterday after reviewing the reviews. I was curious as to why another seafood boil place was directly across the street from the Juicy Crab. My first experience and it would definitely not be my last. I loved every single thing I ate. It was delicious!!! One of my girlfriends took me here for a birthday treat and we were extremely satisfied with our meals, service and waiter (I think his name was Ty White). I think we have the same palette because everything he recommended we had and enjoyed. I like the atmosphere and the vibe much better than the Juicy Crab so we will be visiting again shortly.

OMG! I visited this restaurant for the first time on Sat. July 3, 2021. The staff was friendly and our waitress, whose name I didn't get, was great! I usually don't care for my seafood to be in a bag with flavor sauces. So needless to say, I was not prepared for a pleasant experience. I had the create-your-own boil with the garlic butter & medium hot flavor choices. It was delicious! I added sausage from the a la carte side of the menu to my boil. They give you your money's worth. The only draw back is that for the price, they really should give two pieces of corn & potatoes. It shouldn't be extra. The food is pricey compared to other restaurants, but the quality wasn't bad. A friend at our table ordered the shrimp basket & calamari. Both were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The drinks were great as well. My Mystical Lemon Drop was absolutely delicious. I went and bought a bottle of the vodka used in the drink when we left the restaurant! Lol Thanks for a great dining experience. I will be back!

Pirates Boil exceeded my expectations! The food and service was great! My family and I went as soon as they were opening up. Our waiter was Randy, who was very kind, attentive, and also helpful when it came to choosing boils/seasonings. The seasoning, wow is all I can say! I had the Pirate’s special, really good, a tad bit salty but to my liking. My other family members had Juicy Cajun which was really good too. If you like Juicy Crab, you will absolutely love The Pirates Boil. My family and I will be returning soon!

First, let me say the service is phenomenal... the place is spacious and very clean. I ordered 1/2 lb of shrimp, sausage and king crab legs... the prices are similar to Juicy Crab but they give you way more food. The sauce was good; I liked Juicy flavor a bit better but overall this restaurant superseded my expectations around the board... and although I didn’t get a beverage their drink selection looked YUMMY! The Manager came over to the table and went out his way to accommodate my taste buds I was grateful and for that alone I will return... and will tell my friends... the only thing I would suggest is maybe a lighted sign as I didn’t know where it was located... it looked closed...

AMAZING! The location is new, nice layout, very clean. The service is excellent! I am so mad our server's name is escaping me, but she was fantastic! Last and probably most important, the food...incredible! Get the pirate's secret for seasoning because its the most delicious I have ever tasted in a boil (and I don't say that lightly, I used to live in New Orleans!). The prices are great and the drinks are strong (kudos to the bartender!). This is definitely my new spot!

This is my spot! I originally came to this place after Juicy Crab had a long wait time...I’m glad I did. The flavor of their boils & wings is unique and delicious! I usually do the shrimp (no head) and an appetizer or two. Everything is reasonably priced and the service is usually on point. Only thing I wish they still had are the tater tots, but as of my last visit they’ve been discontinued. But...doesn’t deter me from coming back time and time again.

My 2nd visit in a week because of the 'Amazing!' service I received from Brian and Shandence! My first visit was a week ago, the customer service Shandence provided to my group was very professional. We arrived on a busy afternoon but never did we feel rushed. She helped my group w placing our orders in the most patient manner as she is very knowledgeable of food & beverage menu. When you receive outstanding service like that, you return the following week w a friend. Tonight me and my friend enjoyed our meal at the bar with Brian. We tipped him well because he deserves every dollar. He was just as good and very knowledgeable of both food and beverages. He took the time to consistently check on me and my friend as he was just as busy on a Friday night. Our food was hot, fresh. and delicious! Brian was on point with the drinks too! I don’t even eat seafood like that, but my friends and I were craving crab legs. We went to somewhere else at first because it was well known, but ended up being turned around because of time. However, when we got here, the staff was friendly and didn’t mind seating us. (Ironically the precious place closed at the same time as this one, but so glad we found this hidden gem) Luckily! This place has really good service. They are fast, friendly, and helpful. I have been here twice already, the first time being the second day they were open. The food tastes great and the prices are slightly cheaper than the Juicy Crab across the street. This location has sports on TV visible from all seats and good drinks. My wife and I liked it so much that we invited my mother in law from out of town to eat here and they loved it as well!

THIS is a HIDDEN GEM for anyone obsessed with the well known "competition". The dining space is very open and extremely well kept, the staff are well mannered, the wait times for food are always short/reasonable. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, the flavor of the Pirate's Boil's SEASONINGS AND SAUCES ARE SPOT ON. The seafood is always a healthy size with a fresh taste here. And their simple hush puppy recipe is ADDICTIVE. My experiences here on several occasions now, have been great all around. Even when ordering online to-go. 10/10 would recommend for my seafood lovers.

First time here this weekend. The establishment looks WAY better inside. Please don't let the exterior deter you from going inside. Decor is nice and refreshing. Candace was our server. She was the absolute bestest and definitely ensured that we will be back for her amazing service. Pricing is extremely reasonable and they have a great drink menu which includes something for everyone. I had the adult Capri Sun that lights up. Lol. I will also say that the boils are actually seasoned quite well. I was impressed. Best seasoned boil I have tasted in the Atlanta area. Mussels were large and absolutely amazing with NO live ones in the bunch with we appreciated. Calamari was fresh as was the fried shrimp. Everything fried was seasoned perfectly as well. I live in Lawrenceville and WILL bypass other spots just to dine here. Thank you again. Can't wait to come back!!

Pros: Seafood and sides are delicious. Food is priced reasonably and the staff is attentive. They have curbside delivery and take phone orders. Cons: Sometimes the restaurant gets very crowded and it takes ~15-20 minutes longer to get your food. Overall, this is a well decorated establishment with good customer service and good food.

Literally the best service I’ve ever had. The hostess was extremely kind from the moment we walked in. It was a completely different atmosphere from Juicy Crab across the street. The music was a great touch; and it’s so bright and inviting. Eduardo was smart, funny, knew the menu, and was extremely kind. Julian at the bar made the best strawberry margarita (and has amazing hair)! The food was superb (shoutout to Eduardo for telling us to try the pirate secret seasoning). I've been going to The Juicy Crab for a while but the long (last time 2hrs) wait and lack of taking reservations has made me look elsewhere. This place is clean, the staff are super nice. I ordered one cluster of Dungeness crab, and one cluster of snow crab. Their seasoning is amazing. Soo good. Only small constrictive criticism would be to throw in another potato or two and corn (you only get one of each)

Normally I wouldn't compare businesses, but when two places are literally across the street, doing the EXACT same thing, and one is blowing the other out the water (pun not intended) it is hard not to. So I'll say it plainly, The Pirate's Boil is much better than The Juicy Crab. Whichever restaurant you visit, you're going to get similar food, but the similarities end there. The Juicy Crab feels like I need to fight to be seated and when I am, I feel as though they couldn't care less that I'm there to spend my money. The Pirate's Boil greeted me warmly when I entered with bright lights and brighter smiles. My waiter, ask for Eduardo, provided some of the best service I've ever received at a restaurant. The drinks, all three of them and ask for Julian, were fantastic! Finally, the food: piping hot, spicy (inferno), seasoned perfectly (Pirate's Secret), and juicy. In conclusion, The Pirate's Boil has the juiciest crab around.

I ended up walking in and it hadn't come through yet. The hostess said not a problem I will add you and then pointed us to some empty chairs to wait. We were 8th in line and some how was greeted and was seated after waiting 5mins. Candence was our server and she was phenomenal! We NEVER had to ask for anything. She was on top of it! Refills when needed...even brought TOGO drinks when we were finishing up. I will definitely come back when I'm in town. 10+ in my book!

So this was my very 1st time eating here and I paid extra to have the tails off. Well when I got my plate the tales was on. Keep in mind I paid extra like addtional 6 bucks to have them off. I called spoke to manager, he tells me well they really are the same price, I had to correct him and say really they are not. Gave him the receipt number he verified that i did pay more. He gave me two options. Bring it back, but I am on lunch so I cant't bring it back, or he could refund the differnce. My Concern is I was incovienced and I was argued that the price was the same. I could not really enjoy it. The kitchen has to pay attention more. Other than that the food was good and he will take care of me, I wont be eating there again though> 1st experience went kinda bad, though I know humans aint perfect, but always wow the customer you never know if its a seceret shopper or not. Just moved to Atlanta 2 weeks ago and we’ve had it twice. (No judgement please lol) it’s just that good. We took it to go and it was so hot it was still steaming in the bag. We got snow and king crab, sausage, potatoes, and corn. My gosh it’s simply amazing. Pro tip they don’t offer table cover or shell crackers. But you don’t really need the crackers because they pre cut it and boiled it to perfection. So the shell is easy enough to manipulate. Just have you some kitchen shears handy if you run into a tough spot. Also if you can think about it get yourself a little dollar store table cloth, it works well to protect your table/eating area. We will def be going back!

I live in VA came to ATL September oth 2021 and October 16th 2021 both times I visted pirates boil. The food is amazing!!! The hush puppies are the best ive ever eaten. The boil bag in juicy Cajun is OMG a must 10/10

Called in a takeout order for my family around 6pm Saturday night. When I went to pick up the food, there were a few people waiting to be seated for dine in already. The place has lots of space and tables (nice decor) but I think they might be limiting capacity to stay more safe during covid. There were also two or three people waiting for takeout. Since I drove by right after I called, I waited a few minutes for the food but overall it did not take more than 20min I was quoted on the phone. I got: 1 lb of crawfish + 1 lb of clams (pirates secret sauce) 1 lb of shrimp head on + 4 clusters of snow crab (sweet cajun sauce) 1 order of lemon pepper wings wet 1 order of sweet potato fries All that food ($121 total) was more than enough for the three of us. Out of the seafood, my favorite was the shrimp, then the clams. Those two I think soaked in the sauce the best. The crawfish was a bit too salty and the snow crab legs were good but you had to dip the meat in the sauce to get extra flavor. Out of the two sauces, I definitely liked the sweet cajun a lot more. It was delicious! The pirates secret was too salty. The lemon pepper wings were also pretty good. The ranch that came with it went super well together. Overall I would recommend this place and definitely try your seafood with the sweet cajun seasoning!

We had a couple Treasure Chest boils yesterday in garlic butter sauce at medium spiciness and I have been thinking about it ever since then. Everything in the boil was delicious! Love love love the sauce! The fried calamari appetizer was also delicious. Few recommendations FOR THE BUSINESS OWNER: Consider adding metal cutlery for dine-in customers and supply plastic only for to-go orders. Switch from plastic sauce dishes to ceramic or metal. Switch from styrofoam plates to ceramic plates (my plate deformed from the hot food.) Stock longer straws for the very deep drink cups.

My daughters and I had a date night here on Wednesday evening, we were reluctant to go because we had never heard of them before and it would be our first time. We were currently reading reviews on juicy crab (where we had intentions on going) Read a lot of BAD REVIEWS but at the end of the last one we read it said DONT WASTE YOUR TIME YOUR BETTER OFF GOING TO PIRATES BOIL! So we did and loved it! From being greeted at the door to the time we left it was nothing but GREAT SERVICE. The Food is amazing, seasoned just right and you get your money’s worth. But most of ALL OUR SERVICE FROME TY AND JASMINE WAS AWESOME 👏 VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ENERGETIC. They have only been open a week and a half. But juicy crab better watch out and they are literally right across the street from juicy crab. Juicy crab is too hit and miss so peace out to them. We went yesterday on a Saturday...The family took Mom here for Mother's Day because she likes seafood and we wanted something NEW!!! The positive is that the sauce was not salty. We made reservations for 7pm... We got sat immediately, but the service was horrible and food came out COLD after waiting almost 2 hours to eat. We had a party of 8. Drinks came out almost 45 minutes after we were seated and they forgot one, and that took another 30 minutes to get... We got our food about an hour and 45 minutes after being seated and it came out COLD... Who wants to eat cold seafood after waiting hours to eat? We were so hungry we just ate what we had. I sent mine back and it STILL DIDN'T COME BACK HOT... We watched tables that were seated after us eat and leave. We spoke to the manager on duty as he was walking by about our missing drink, and he was nonchalant and acted as if we were an inconvenience to him. Needless to say, he didn't get our missing drink (which only takes a second to grab)... He kept right on walking..We paid the FULL bill and left a tip, but will not be back. It was a total waste of money...They forgot items in our meals, and it was just a HOT MESS... The women's restroom was disgusting with vomit in the sink and paper all over the floor... They got the sauces wrong in the bags. Worst experience ever... The food was not worth taking pictures of. I snapped some of us while we waited...

Sunday 7/13/20 My friends & i visited Pirates Boil we are there at least once a week rather take out or dine in. Well yesterday we had Kyia P at Table F2 check out at 5:40pm per receipt/check #189 Kyia was very un-attentive, at one point I got another waitress to get her attention to bring us some condiments. Also, my friend ordered a second drink which Kyia forgot about. She did not bring the bucket to throw the trash in for the boiled seafood. which is common when dining in. Another table had received their appetizers, drinks, and food before us and had left about time we received our food. Perhaps Kyia was in training but, I frequent Pirates Boil pretty often I would like for service to be prompt. By the way - I do feel like management allowed more than the CDC recommended amount of guests in the restaurant yesterday.

Reminds me of Juicy Crab before they raised prices and started giving horrible service with hour plus wait times. Unfortunately I found out they lie about the measurements of sauce you can buy separately. The sauce is $3 and some change for “half a pint,” which is ONE CUP and they only give 2/3 a cup (I actually measured it). If it’s 2/3rds JUST SAY THAT but don’t lie. I do love how they strategically say “half a pint” instead of JUST BARELY ONE CUP. I don’t mind paying for 2/3rds but call it 2/3rds or else give me all of the sauce you claim I am purchasing.
