Reviews of The Breakfast Boys

My first time here, and it was good. We didn't have to wait and ate downstairs. We liked our food overall. Wait staff was good and attentive. I had the Veggie Omelet with Grits. The Omelet was excellent; the grits were good but not creamy enough to my liking. The croissant that came with the meal had a horrible spoil taste. My friend enjoyed her Jerk Chicken and Waffles. I would definitely come back.

So I went here with 3 of my friends. We had a reservation so we were seated almost immediately. I definitely recommend a reservation because they are busy. Shareika took great care of us. Pleasant and had a wonderful demeanor. I had a Texas Margarita, it was good. I then had a rum punch. It was tasty.
I had the pancakes and chicken wings. The wings were not crispy but had a nice flavor. The pancakes tasted like they had been frozen and had no fluff. I didn't enjoy my choice but my friends said they enjoyed theirs. If I go again, I'll choose something else and hopefully I'll be able to update my rating.

This is the absolute spot to have an amazing southern breakfast. I visited 2 days in a row. Food is so amazing, fresh brewed ☕️ and the most amazing grits. The service is excellent and all staff is awesome. My servers Nandi and April went above and beyond. We had the opportunity to speak to the manager as well. If you are in Atlanta please go and enjoy this spot. You will have no regrets. Can't wait to return!

Okay so first of all, the customer service was outstanding! I made a reservation and they were able to accommodate my party of 10. Everything on the menu looked absolutely scrumptious!! We ordered our food and surprisingly it came out relatively quick considering how busy they were. I am currently cutting carbs so I had the veggie omelet with watermelon, which was REALLY good!! Everyone else in the party said that their food was delicious!!😋 I honestly can't wait to go back to try most of everything on the menu.
Thank you for a great experience Breakfast Boys!!💯👏🏾🤗

Food was cool. Decent. Potatoes had too much rosemary and were like chips because they were sliced so thin and cooked a little long. Chicken sausage was great. Eggs were cooked to my liking, scrambled soft. Wish they put condiments on the table because our food got cold as we had to wait and ask for everything. Glad they had hot tea. Mimosas were light but decent. Thank you.

black owned business was great.
This restaurant is very interesting on the fact that the food choices are not standard but makes them stand out. It is always a benefit to the consumer to dine at a place that is different yet intriguing at the same time. lights went out twice while we were there.
customer service is fast and friendly. waiter is knowledgeable and takes time to review menu items. very friendly waitress.
10+ rating for the food. the pancakes were delicious and very flavorful. breading I masterfully tasty. shrimp and grits are spicy and great choice with veggies. they have several veggie vegan options.

Nice breakfast spot in downtown college park! Parking is not the best but if you circle enough you can find something. Decor was very hip and chic! A little chaotic when you first enter with seating but it eventually calmed down. Made a reservation and still waited close to 30min to be seated for a party of 2, Sunday’s are extremely busy so make sure you make a reservation prior! I ordered the pineapple upside down French toast and it was good, thought it would be a little more than just a pineapple slice on top but again it was still good! My husband really enjoyed his jerk chicken and waffles! The food presentation was nice and everything else was good! Our server was nice, however I did ask for 2 things that I never received(my bacon was not fully cooked & some butter), everyone is human so not holding it against her! Overall very nice atmosphere, nice ambiance and the food was good! I do recommend trying it out for yourself!

I had a 5 star experience across the board with The Breakfast Boys. I made a Sunday reservation at 11:30am for a 1:30 reservation and got there at 1:05. They sat us right away. Tee was our waitress and greeted us promptly, while also taking our drink orders. I got a rum punch and loved it. It wasn't a watered down, medley of a traditional rum punch. It was the real deal with a kick.
For food I ordered the chicken and pancakes with a side of scrambled cheese eggs and my guest ordered the catfish, shrimp and grits. Our order arrived in about 5 mins. I've never seen a Sunday brunch kitchen turn over orders that quick! And they took no shortcuts, the food was amazing!
I live way on the other side of town but will definitely make it a point to come again. Thank you for your thoroughness and efficiency BB!

OUTSTANDING!!!! I visited The Breakfast Boys from out of town and listennnnn...the service, the food, the staff, the atmosphere...everything was excellent. I would definitely come back the next time I visit the area. I ordered the salmon hash and tasted the fried green tomatoes that one of my companions ordered. The pancakes were delicious too. We were a party of 6 and none of us were disappointed. I cannot wait to visit again.
The only way you'll be disappointed is if you hate great food and great service!

Went here for my best friend’s birthday and was really let down by the accommodations.Had a reservation for 8 and was seated at a table for 6. Our party ended up being 9 and two had to sit at the bar away from the group. Very dissatisfied with the seating. The food and the service earned this restaurant their stars. Had a delicious French toast with turkey bacon and was able to sample a lot of meals on the table. The food here is delectable. I love the fact that I have order from this restaurant on uberEats and the presentation and taste are consistent. They unfortunately had only one bartender that day causing drink service to be slow. This restaurant providers a place for family and friends to gather and enjoy life with amazing food. I will definitely come again with a smaller party.

Service was incredible. We were seated quickly (weekday around 1:30) and got our food literally in like 10 minutes or less. Telisha our server was an amazing, fun, kind and attentive. Food was good, I just found what we ordered to be overpriced and underwhelming. I got the French toast and chicken sausage ($19) and my husband got the meat lovers omelet plate ($22). I would come back and get something else on the menu so I can get the wow factor from the food.

Black owned. Black owned. & Black owned.
The shrimp and grits were by far my favorite! It had tons of flavor and the catfish was cooked to perfection. The sweet potato waffles were also delicious - the syrup really gives it its flavor. Also shoutout to our waiter Keisha for taking care of us!
Beware it does get crowded so get there early!

My boyfriend and I made reservations for 1130 am we arrived a bit early and got our table immediately!
Location: the restaurant is quite cute, I love the upscale diner feel I get.
Parking: it's limited and you have to pay using the park mobile app - unless you park on the residential side of the street which is what we did. Keep Tim mind there are signs everywhere saying don't park there but we tried anyway.
Service: The service won my heart the process to be sat was super easy. Our server was nice and attentive. We were in and out within 45 minutes which I loved! Make reservations!
Ambience/Crowd: it's a casual vibe, 90s R&B Music playing and all. The crowd is mixed but I would say it probably depends on the time of day you go.
Food/m: 9/10 my bf had the catfish and grits, he doesn't like grits (I know right?! Who doesn't like grits)
I got his grits he got potatoes on the side. I got the salmon hash. Both of us loved the croissants to the point he ate part of mine!! The salmon was perfectly seasoned and the potatoes were cooked just right... but the grits had no taste and I wasn't a fan of the consistency. My bf catfish was hood just a bit heavy on the seasoning. My one wish is they would give jam for the croissants.
Will I be back? Heck yes! The service and food were great. I will definitely be back
RubyAnn Smith
The space is warm and inviting. Good vibe. I love the downstairs bar 🍸. Food to me, not good. Pancakes had a oily uncooked taste and texture. My friend love hers. My salmon hash was ok. The potatoes were hard and bland and the salmon was very dry 😫 Chunks but seasoned well. The croissant an egg on my hash was yummy 😋 The jam for my croissant was really good. Not a fan
Keela Williams
I had a phenomenal time! My food was delicious with an exquisite presentation! After all my pictures my chicken was still hot, pancakes sweet and delicate! But what truly exceeded my expectations was my service! Peaches was amazing, her suggestion of the salmon egg rolls was perfect and fresh! She offered me the hummingbird but I was too full to give it a taste, definitely next time! 5 stars for Peaches and the hostess and the cook and can’t forget the bartender…baby the fromo strong you’ve been warned

I came in today with my boyfriend for a late breakfast. We walked in around noon on a Saturday. It was busy but we were seated immediately. Once we sat down, our waitress came to greet us quickly and took our order. Our food came out pretty quick. Everything was really good. Only minor improvement suggestion would be that y’all serve WARM syrup for the chicken and waffle meal. Since we live in the area, we’ll definitely be back.
Elise Redman
Food, drink and service were awesome! My party and I had Catfish, Shrimp & Grits and Jerk Chicken w/Sweet Potato Waffles. Food was perfectly seasoned, balanced and flavors really came through. Pineapple and Passionfruit Mimosas were good. No skimp on the bubbly. Highly recommend and make reservations as this is a popular brunch spot!
E Edw
Went for brunch around 1pm on a Monday with family. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away.
We chose an outdoor table, because the weather was nice.
Our server, Jojo, was great. She took our orders and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
The food was delicious. I had the pancakes with wings and they were amazing.
The restaurant location is just under 10 mins from the airport so a great place to indulge with friends/family before they head out.
Keya Hughey
Went here for my birthday today. The food and drinks were really good. Definitely a great brunch spot. You won't be disappointed! I got the Catfish Shrimp and Grits. There was a little too much cornmeal on the catfish but besides that it was delicious! Our servers did the best they could with the small amount of space provided for moving from table to table. They need to work on a better system for that.
Sonya Harden
Food and service was excellent! We were seated very quickly. But I'm sure weekends are different. I recommend reservations. The chicken and sweet potato waffles were devine! Fried green tomatoes were good as well.

Came here 7.9.22
We got seated very quickly and the service was really good..... Parking is tough though. Either a side street or get lucky...
Food was good.. I had the salmon hash... Salmon a little dry and potatoes a little oily but overall good... They kept the place clean and even though the place isn't huge they keep the place moving good.. Wife thought the drink was a little weak. Overall good experience.
Sierra Horton
I visited The Breakfast Boys for breakfast and the hour plus drive was worth it! We made reservations online which I do recommend. We had no wait time, & parking was great. Peaches was out server and she was very attentive & fast. We ordered the salmon egg rolls and they were delicious! I also substituted the jerk chicken for the whole wings to go with the sweet potato waffles. The catfish and grits were so delicious. The scrambled eggs with cheese were cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be coming back for more.

Wow, a gem in College Park, you love to see it! I was very pleased with my dining experience at The Breakfast Boys, from the greetings when I entered to the server’s efficiency to the delicious food. I had the salmon hash and the shrimp and grits with catfish. Both was beyond flavorful with balanced ingredients. I didn’t feel robbed of salmon, shrimp, or catfish. The salmon hash was large enough that I think two people could have shared! I also had a white sangria that was pretty good. Bre was a great server. I can’t wait to go back to The Breakfast Boys and take some friends.
Humaira Afzal Jehangir
Wow! Went today for the first time and everything was amazing. I ordered the catfish and grits, my friend ordered the chick brunch and both were yummmmmo! You HAVE to make reservations on Yelp to get a table otherwise it's a one to two hour wait-list. Service is amazing and the vibe downstairs is absolutely gorgeous. Southern, soulful, and sublime.
Jas
This place was everything!!! The service was great, the food was chef’s kiss, and overall experience was just phenomenal. Our server Jay was on it and kept us entertained while waiting for our food. Definitely go to this place! I ordered the Jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles and my gf order the catfish and grits, talk about explosion of delectable flavors in your mouth!
Catherine R.
Let’s just start with the warm professional welcome! All of the staff I encountered greeted me with smiles and great energy! The service was superb from start to finish. The cocktail was delicious and the catfish shrimp and grits 😍😍 Tantalized every taste bud. They say a picture is worth a thousand words!
Lynn Copeland
What a pleasant surprise. It was our 1st time. We were a party of 10 yet the service was excellent (thanks to our ultra professional server Jalisa), the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was a happy cabaret style. Pricey but definitely worth it!
Faith Banks
Great service and AMAZING food! We were seated right away and greeted by our server shortly after. The food was delicious and the vibes are great! Lots of photo ops. We'll be back for sure!

We participated in the Hot Chocolate 5k Run at Atlanta’s Centennial Park and The Breakfast Boys came highly recommended as a great place to eat after a cold, morning run….it did not disappoint!! Great atmosphere and service, clean and, YES, the food was delicious 😋!! Portions were hearty and filling…I needed a to-go plate. I recommend the chicken and pancakes as well the catfish and grits…sooo good!

Visiting ATL with my best friend, and we wanted to stop to get some breakfast! I chose The Breakfast Boys based on prior reviews and the aesthetic! We were not dissatisfied at all. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was awesome, and the drinks were great! Highly recommend the sangria! Will def visit again if in the area!

Let's get the elephant out the room...when you come here you are going to spend some money.
However, it is money well spent. The food was OMG good!!! The staff here is amazing and the ambience works. Parking is another story but still worth a visit. You have to try this place you will not be disappointed!!! We had a party of four everyone enjoyed their food and agreed we would like to come back.

This was my first time eating at TBB. I can unequivocally say: WORTH THE WAIT! And oh there will be a wait, partly my own fault though. I didn't go to the website and make reservations. On Sundays get there early. I got there at 11am, signed in and was seated a little after noon. Then there was a bit of a wait before the food got to the table but you know who made it a lot easier? Our server Jay was phenomenal! He was fun, energetic, engaging, charming and funny. He got the drinks to the table fast. My rum punch was so refreshingly good, I finished it before snapping a pic. And when that food arrived, it was so delicious! Can not wait to go back!! My friend and I were planning our return, while walking back to the car. 😋
Gabrielle Snead
Eating the best brunch ever!!! If you are ever in the ATL make this one of your stops. They have the fastest sit down service I have ever experienced. Our food was out within 10 minutes of us ordering and it was piping hot. We will definitely be back! A special shout out to Ms. Keisha the server who was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, gave great suggestions and fun to be around!!! #thebreakfastboys
Samantha Alexander
Great visit! No reservations, but they fit us in. Our server was Asia and she was excellent. The food was fantastic and HOT! If you've read my other reviews you know temp is important to me. Thanks for a great meal!
Dawn
This atmosphere is a must do experience in ATL. Definitely great food and mimosas that remain with you the entire day... definitely try the passion fruit and pineapple mimosas. These pancakes had me smiling ear to ear from first bite .... great music and great energy from the staff from start to finish ... will definitely keep patronizing this location.

This is a hot place to check out when in town. Besides having fantastic food, they offer a creative menu that does not disappoint. I’ve tried several dishes and can easily give them each five stars. The ambience is fun and the wait staff is attentive, quick to serve, and down to earth fun.
Patricia Desamours
The food was excellent. If I could give 4.5 stars I would, solely because we had a lackluster waitress. She didn't do anything wrong, but she didn't particularly make us feel welcome and it was our first time eating there. She also forgot part of the order and just overall seemed to be rushed. Maybe she wasn't having a great day.
The manager on duty however, was great. He came to check on us and how our meal was and let us know that if we needed anything to just ask. That was a nice touch. I would definitely try it again.
Britney Jones
Visiting from New York and decided to try this place out. The food was delicious and the service was even better! Miss Keisha was our server and not only was she sweet and funny she could cut a rug too! I had the catfish, shrimp and grits and it was DELICIOUS! This place was definitely a vibe and I’ll be back!
Nikki (Chef Nikki)
The service here was great, the staff was very friendly, talkative and nice. They even allowed us to sit a bit past closing time because had enjoyed our Brunch so much we wanted to continue talking lol. The Catfish Shrimp & Grits is pretty tasty. The Jerk Chicken was moist! I was hoping for the cubed breakfast potatoes like the ones I've seen in the pictures but they were cut round, they were also cold and kinda hard/old. Besides the potatoes everything else was superb. I'd definitely recommend this establishment, and kudos to a wonderful staff!

4.5/5
Food - amazing. I got the sweet chick, croissant sandwich. It was fluffy yet did not slip against the weight of the sausage. Husband had the shrimp and grits, and im not a catfish person, but gah’damn. Perfection.
Only qualm is the seating. It was a bit crowded, but hey — we all family here.
Dr. Arkeria Wright
Food was pretty good. Waitress was amazing! Vibes just filled with black magic! I didn’t get a picture of the jerk chicken and waffle nor the catfish and grits. It looked so good I forgot to snap a photo!
Wish that they could fix the parking issue especially since they don’t seat people until the whole party is there. You lose your table trying to find a spot to park.
Traveling Foodie
I don’t know what I did to deserve this goodness they serve in here!! I’m floored! As a pescatarian, I specifically look for dishes that are different to cater to my dietary needs. For brunch, they nailed it; and with edible flowers! Yum! Please kiss the chef and thank you! I highly recommend this place!
Vonne Moss
My niece told me about this place and RAVED about the food. We went on Saturday 10/15, and I must say...my meal was AMAZING!
I had the Catfish Shimp and Grits. OMG...the best ever. My niece had the Pancakes and Chicken Wings. I don't eat meat, so I didn't taste the wings, but those pancakes were EVERYTHING! They're not regular pancakes. They have a cinnamon and honey flavor happening.
The atmosphere is nice. And overall, so was the service. Our server seemed to be a bit out of it. She wasn't rude at all...she just wasn't very friendly and/or welcoming. Mind you, this was my first time at The Breakfast Boys. My niece on the other hand had been before and was disappointed. She said another server from the week prior was nice and friendly. I chalked it up to our server being tired and maybe a bit agitated. The restaurant was busy.
I'll definitely be going again. I need my guy and my mom to experience the goodness.
BEWARE - the parking is not great...but the great food makes up for it!👌🏾
Bahar Bakhtiar
Really tasty food! Loved the jerk chicken + sweet potato waffles. Even better though, the service was lovely. Our waiter was so sweet and enjoyable. Great experience!

Great Brunch spot! Parking is limited for this establishment so Uber may be a good option if you're planning to visit on a weekend for brunch. We went on a Friday morning and found parking at the paid lot across the street. While they were busy our party of 6 was able to be seated promptly. The restaurant has a cool vibe and is bigger than it appears as there is seating downstairs also. I went with the famous catfish, shrimp, and grits and it was really good a decent sized portion. Their menu prices are a bit higher than typical brunch spots. My friends had drinks the rum punch and the frozen one which they really like they were good and strong. The service was good overall i had to track the server down to get more water but nothing major. Overall a good experience I'd definitely comeback for drinks and to try a few of their other menu options
N Kip
First time and the food was excellent! I really enjoyed my selection, Chicken Sausage and French Toast, substitute the sausage with bacon. The toast was fluffy, flavorful and bacon crispy. I finished every bite.
Now the Passion Fruit Mimosa did not hit for me. It was no flavor but mostly passion fruit liqueur and not passion friut taste. I got this optionas ot was shared to have a good kick. Again, just did not hit for me.
My friends ordered the Chicken and Pancakes, Crispy Catfish Shrimp and Grits and the Chicken and Waffles. It was a good first stop in Atlanta for food. Definitely would try them again on another visit.
Melvin Hill
More than a spot to eat . A true experience, from the moment we walked in the hospitality and warm welcome was truly genuine. Jalisa, our waitress went above and beyond, and Management took the time to actually chat with every table. To say the Food was great would be an understatement. Will definitely be back before I head home, and every time I'm in town. 10 STARS

We came for Sunday brunch reservation at 330 and had about a 30 minute wait before being seated. They were out of chicken wings so I chose the catfish and grits instead with a side of pancakes. The pancakes were very good. They tasted like funnel cakes so even without syrup they had a good taste. The waiter said they came with fruit on top but i didn’t receive any on mine unfortunately. My friend also wanted the wings and pancake special but since they didn’t have wings, she asked for the lobster Mac and cheese instead. About 10 minutes after ordering that a different person from our waiter told her they were out of the lobster but could give her a fried chicken quarter like how the
jerk chicken comes but it would just be fried … she said that was fine but they still got her order wrong because they ended up bringing her catfish and macaroni. Then the waiter realized it was wrong and someone brought her the jerk chicken .. which again is still not what was told to her by the other lady. I’m giving it 4 stars because even though the food was delicious, it was just barely warm and it also was kind of disappointing that they got the order wrong twice for my friend. We also really wanted the chicken wings but I understand it was close to closing time so no biggie. Overall i would DEFINITELY go back again but just earlier in the day so hopefully we could get whatever we want to order without substitutions or issues

I went with my family on a Saturday afternoon... word to the wise, make reservations. This was my 4th time visiting & my friend's 1st. They loved everything. You can taste the passed in the food & they offer some amazing cocktails. We had the jerk chicken with sweet potato waffle, salmon hash, french toast with chicken sausage & shrimp & grits. Great service! Excellent food! Well be back for more
Glenda Burrus (Glenda B)
My bestie called and asked me to go to breakfast literally 45 minutes before we arrived. We wanted to go somewhere close to home so I chose The Breakfast Boys. I had been patiently waiting for the crowds hype to wear down. We were seated immediately downstairs. This place is very busy and popular with good reason. However they serve the food pretty quickly.
I ordered the Catfish, Shrimp and Grits with a side of Bacon and a Basil Sweet Tea. The glass they serve the tea is on a small scale but they do provide free refills. My friend ordered Chicken Wings and Pancakes and a side of Chicken Sausage Patties.
When the food arrived it was very pleasing to the eye although I expected a Catfish filet and not smaller pieces of fish. The dish had about 6 good sized shrimp tucked under the fish. The creamy sauce was made with cherry tomatoes, spinach and some corn. I later found out it was a Lobster Sauce. Fiyah!!!!! Grits were creamy and super yummy. Very delicious and the perfect blend of spices and seasonings.
My friend said her Chicken Wings and Pancakes were good. The chicken was seasoned very well. I tasted a hint of cumin maybe. The wings made you feel like your mama cooked them. That's a plus.
All in all check out this establishment. Google the times of operation. They do not stay open past 3pm or 5pm towards the end of week. We are very proud to have you in the neighborhood.
Pros
-The restaurant offers a spin on modern cuisine. The food is not bland.
-The service today was excellent. Nandi was very attentive, explained the menu selections and also gave some recommendations when we requested them
-Food Runner was friendly and helped us out with condiments
-Please read the description of food on the menu carefully and not just skim. They pretty much describe what is in the food however I almost ordered a Fried Green Tomato salad instead of what I thought was an appetizer because I just didn't read the whole description.
Cons
-Parking is minimal. This is downtown College Park and it's also residential around the corner.
-Rest rooms are down stairs
-They seat Patrons from the bottom floor up first. We arrived close to 9am on a Saturday. This might be just for weekends when it is busy.
-Hostess did not ask if sitting downstairs was ok. I have bad knees. Luckily the steps are short and not steep so it was not bad going up or down.
-Bottom floor basement has a slight odor and damp feeling. It instantly reminded me of houses in Philadelphia as a kid. The odor seemed to have disappeared once the space started to fill up and food was being brought downstairs.

The jerk chicken with sweet potatoes waffles was delicious at The Breakfast Boys in Atlanta, Georgia. The crispy catfish, shrimp and grits was mouth watering. The homemade peach sweet tea was excellent. Cool atmosphere mixing old with modern.
Latesha Isbell
We were seated promptly and our server Shondale (sp?) was excellent. The food was so good! I had the catfish shrimp and grits and my husband had a meat lover's omelet with potatoes. I encourage you to make a reservation because they get pretty busy

Everything was great from the time we walked in until the time we walked out!! Jalessa was our server she was great. Service was super fast but the food was very fresh and hot! The Best Mimosa’s on Main St. We had reservations for 12pm we arrived at 11:35am and the hostess sat us as soon as we walked in.
Destiny Leotaud
Loved the cozy but fun vibe! Parking is the only issue I had. Other than that the food was amazing, and the drinks were hitting the spot! Very affordable and great for a weekday or weekend brunch!

Let me give you the rundown. Thanks to Yelp we were able to join the waiting list on our way to the restaurant. By the time we arrived, we only had a 2 minute wait. Awesome!
Upon walking in, you are drawn to the elegant style with its trendy tones. The hostess staff was very inviting. Upon being taken to our seats, we were shocked when she led us down the stairs to an entirely different area that we had no idea existed. The owners really know how to capitalize on space and comfort.
Within moments of being seated ohr waittess arrived to take our drink orders. As we eyed the menu it was apparent that this would be a hard decision. Everything looked and sounded amazing. As such, we decided to try our top 3. LoL!
The food:
We ended up with,
1. Spicy Spaghetti and Catfish
2. Chicken Wings and Pancakes
3. Bacon, Grits, Croissant (you know i like to piece my meal together. LoL)
Talk about a mouthpleasing, gibe me an order to go, we are def coming here again experience….. Yes! It was all of the above.
The food was truly homemade and seasoned with the taste buds in mind. If you are a foodie or just a person who loves a great meal you have to stop in.
Also, special shout out to out waitress Jalisa. She made the entire experience a pleasure. Her smile, charisma, and genuine service made a great restaurant an even greater experience.
Overall,
Food- 10/10
Service- 10/10
Environment- Casual, Cozy, Trendy
Recommend- Absolutely

Our waitress Jalysa was awesome! Any questions we had she was right there to answer. The food was amazing 🤩 and super flavorful. I will definitely be back

This spot has been on my brunch list for a while so my husband and I decided to make a reservation and pull up finally for Sunday brunch. Not sure what I originally expected but I was surprised how PACKED the restaurant was. We were seated quickly however we were informed as soon as we sat down that it would be an HOUR AND A HALF wait for our food when we order. Definitely information that should have been disclosed before we decided to sit but we rode the wait out anyways. We started with a carafe of mimosas which we killed in the timeframe we were waiting on our food. We were literally on our last glass before we got our food which felt as if it came right on time because I was getting hangry! Our food was worth the wait, SO GOOD!!! I got the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles. My husband got the catfish shrimp and grits. We ordered an appetizer, the salmon eggrolls which came out before we got our food but still TWO HOURS later. Despite the wait, all of our food was flames. I’d come again, maybe during a weekday. Not sure if the wait is that long every weekend but if it is, I won’t recommend sliding on the weekend. I’d also say come with your comfy shoes because you’ll be walking from where you parked to the restaurant. There isn’t a designated lot right by the spot. Nonetheless, I’d recommend!

Wow, wow. From the time I hit the door I was greeted with a smile . Sevyn went over our menu and was very attentive , the service another wow , our food and drinks came out quick. The atmosphere beautiful abstract art . DJ D nice projected on the wall playing music(nice visual) the nicely decorated seating benches colorful walls, the experience was awesome .The food Chiile, superb. I love this place and I must try out their other eats. Let's not forget their drinks delish. The parking is limited and it's best to park across the railroad tracks . Some patron drew beautiful drawings on their tables paper included and crayons.

Second time around bartender had attitude to busy flirting with male customers unprofessional look, food not as expected grits were loaded with cold shredded cheese, butter topping was melted as of o had crab legs🤦🏽♀️. Drink was simple experience wasn’t fitting my expectations but Demetria the manager was wonderful in her role… I’ll revisit for redemption opportunities!

I love supporting black owned businesses…..I had a small business meeting here this afternoon and the food was delicious! I had catfish shrimp and grits and a Bloody Mary. Thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back! Ask for Lorenzo the owner…..he’s an awesome guy!
Richard White
We had an awesome experience having breakfast at this wonderful modern southern cuisine style restaurant. Great job with the ambience, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and the food was excellent. This is a must visit in East Point GA. Great job Restaruant owners.

I had heard good things about restaurant before going, so I took my husband. Food was good. It was too much sauce and not enuf grits on my plate, but the waitress said it was measured. I would go back and try it out again. We made reservations and was seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Limited free parking, so you will have to pay for parking.
Sonya Davis
What does this REALTOR do in her down time? Well enjoy the local small owned businesses that's what. Had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at The Breakfast Boys. I had the Catfish, Shrimp and Grits and it did not disappoint! Started eating and it was so good I had to take a pic to spread the love. Added waffles as well because my stomach told me too lol.
Parking is horrible because there is virtually none. However, I love that you can reserve a time online to avoid the long wait. They definitely need a larger location. Head to Eastpoint and check them out.
Lilly Randau
A great breakfast spot outside of ATL! Our server Neish was so sweet and personal; you can tell she really enjoys working here. We can’t wait to come back! All of the food was 10/10. My favorite was the salmon egg rolls!
Latashia
Very dope atmosphere and decor. The food was great and we won't even talk about the bomb drinks!!!! The service from our waitress Asia was OUTSTANDING!!! She was so personable and friendly. I most definitely recommend this place for a brunch date with a 10/10.
Sierra D. Blake-Bicus
I took my sister here for her birthday a couple of weeks ago! It was both our first time. This place did not disappoint! The food was great and we were able to get in and out. The staff is friendly and really made it an enjoyable experience for the both of us!!!
Xiang Chisholm
Great little cozy spot! Most definitely a hidden gem. The menu is not huge but they definitely have some big steppin entrees! The staff were all smiling and friendly. Our Waiter Charlie was cool! He recommended a lobster sauce for my hash that set it off!! Cali was one of the first and last face we saw while leaving, her energy exudes confidence! We will be retuning in the near future y’all keep up the good work! Ps parking kinda sucks but it’s well worth it.
Kimone Oruga
This was our first time here. Service was awesome, our waiter was Trevor and he did great. The food was very good, I had chicken and pancakes and my husband and kids had French toast and chicken. We got our food in less than 5 mins, I will definitely be coming back and inviting more family and friends to enjoy this restaurant. They did not disappoint.

so I visit Atlanta frequently, but haven't never stayed or been in the college park area. this past weekend, I stayed in college Park and had the best brunch at this restaurant. our waiter Josh was the absolute best. he made us feel welcomed, joked with us, and made sure we were good the entire time. The passion, fruit mimosa and the lobster mac and cheese for phenomenal. it has been days since, and I am still thinking about the food. I will be back in Atlanta in July and I'm going to take a whole new set of friends to this place. Don't let me forget the croissant, I ate it on the ride back to Kentucky, room temperature and all.
Hunter Collins
Excellent restaurant with fast friend service. Delicious menu which stars catfish shrimp and grits. Expect to pay $20+ a person especially if sampling their cocktail selection but it’s worth it. Always leave happy.
Karma Twist
The food was amazing. I saw their ad on FB, so my Nigerian bf and I decided to try them out. He’s not a breakfast/brunch type of person, but he loved it here and ate all the food. He said we will be back, so just know this place is amazing. From the food to the customer service. Our waitress Sherika was great as well as the manager, Bre, and other staff. I will continue to support black owned businesses!

Came here for Sunday brunch. Details first. Make a reservation or you might not get in the door. It's that busy. Second, whatever time your reservation is, expect to still wait 20-30 minutes to be seated. Again, it's THAT busy. Long, unexpected wait aside, our experience was great. We sat downstairs, and our server, Jenelle, was excellent! We had the salmon egg rolls to start, which were really good. Maybe they could add one more egg roll to the order, because they are a little small. I had the catfish, shrimp & grits. So good! My wife had the jerk chicken (1/2 bird)& sweet potato waffle. She said it was good, but the chicken wasnt really as spicy as jerk chicken usually is. For drinks, we had the sangria & rum punch. Both were really strong, which was right up our alley! I'd definitely come back. Just be prepared for crowds whenever you come. Valet parking was the easiest option, and it was $7. Can pay by cash or CashApp/Zelle.

I can’t lie the food, customer service, and vibe was everything. My server Shondale was absolutely attentive Im most definitely am coming back.. the reason I gave a 4 star is because I saw the front line staff not the cooks but the front line workers: one guys wiped his gloved hands on his pants, picked up a piece of paper on the floor then touched plates with food.. and another girl wipe her nose with her hand..
Chandrelle Haynie
The food is excellent. I had the catfish shrimp & grits and it was amazing. The vibe was good and customer service was great. The only thing that sucked was parking but once you taste their food you would forget all about it. I will be coming back soon.
Neka Holmes
The food is delicious. The service is amazing and the coffee is delicious. I love black coffee and this coffee is smooth and delicious. I ordered the Fish, Shrimp & Grits and it was really good. I’ll be visiting often until I’ve tried the entire menu. I went around 9am on Sunday morning and was seated immediately on the patio. The weather was perfect.
Keion D. Edwards
This restaurant by far is one of the best in Atlanta. The customer service is perfect. The host was so welcoming. My server Tequila was awesome. She gave me great suggestions. The manager Crystal put the icing on the cake. She made my visit even better. I recommend the shrimp and grits. I will be back soon.
Stephen
The food was amazing. I had the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles with an excellent apple cider syrup. The jerk chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles and syrup had a unique flavor I've never had before. The environment is nice and the staff is beyond friendly. It's in a nice location in college Park on main Street that offers other shopping and dining. Their breakfast is absolutely amazing and I can't miss.
Journey With Joy
The catfish, shrimp & grits were absolutely delectable. The croissant from the steak and eggs was nice and flaky. The seasoning on the steak was sort of sweet which was interesting. The scramble eggs were cooked to perfection. The salmon egg rolls are amazing. Great place to get brunch for takeout.
Josephine Marquez
Such an amazing spot great vibes sweet staff shout out Sherika and the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had it was the flavorful shrimp and fried cat fish for me! My boyfriend had the jerk chicken dry rub and paired it with pancakes so so good. If I lived in ATL I would be here every week!
stephanieee d
a great place for breakfast. their plates are pretty big. so come here with an appetite. my favorite thing on the menu was their jerk chicken with waffles. would definitely order that again.
sarahca76
Had this right before leaving GA. The food was amazing! Chicken and Pancakes were delicious and the Lobster Mac and Cheese was too die for. Our server, Shericka, could not have been more friendly
Theresa Renfro
I took advantage of the "complimentary pancake" deal. My KING👑 and I 👑 had a DATE BRUNCH. The pancakes were FANTASIC smelled GREAT! Everything we ate was TASTEFULL. The food, music and guests made me forget about the inconsiderate and selfish guest who came into your establishment and seated herself at the bar. Also made me forget about how TIGHT (small) it was in the building.
Vivianne Lane
OMG 😲 😱! Another Gem found! Please PLEASE come try the sweet potato waffle! DELICIOUS! My vegetable omelet was SO filling! Saved my croissant for tomorrow! (Couldn't fir in my tummy) 🤷♀️
Alicia Murphy
The service was good. The food was great (I could have a used a little more grits with my catfish, shrimp and grits) and a roll, biscuit or pancake. It's the most expensive item on the menu but has the smallest portion.
Free parking but you may have to park across the street.
Domo Sant
This is my new go to spot for is amazing the service spectacular and they're extremely fast my wife and I came for our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed in the least. Our server Jalisa got it. She helped us with the service and to pick something else to do afterwards and she gave us free cake to commemorate our occasion.
Jahara C.
The Frose drink is bomb. The pancakes were delicious. The salmon in my salmon hash bowl was overcooked but overall it's a decent spot. The service could be a little better.
B Wanderlust
Great food! The manager Katelyn is amazing. I had an issue with my Uber eats delivery. She fixed everything with the best customer service I’ve received in a while. Will definitely be going back.
Audrina Holdren
Was in town for a short trip, my bestie and I saw this place and had to try it! We were not disappointed!!! We started off with the shrimp egg rolls amazing!! My bestie enjoyed the catfish shrimp and grits, she loved them! I enjoyed the shrimp quinoa kale salad spinach wrap with parmesean fries delicious! We understood quickly why this place stays packed...The next time I'm in the ATL, I'll make sure to grab a bite to eat here...Side note..the cocktails are on point. Honeysuckle Lemonade yummmm
Can Akcali
Good and very fast service. Order the salmon breakfast and it was great. Proper portion. planning to order some pancake but I felt like already full.
Glenis Banks Raines
Ritchie was our server and did a good job of accommodating our needs. It was an impromptu visit but we all seemed to enjoy the experience....update revisited and my pancakes were a little sweet. My husband has French toast. He said it was fine. Yet others seem to really enjoy this place
Logical Gypsy
Prefect random date spot. For girlfriends, homeboys or cute couples. The atmosphere is a subtle fun and the servers are amazing.
Trevor (Tall man with dreads)
Very nice, helpful and observant!
Shoutout to you for the hot water for the baby's food
And the hostess for waiting until my bestfriend was done getting settling with the baby to make sure we were good to go!
We ordered the salmon sliders, Mac and cheese, jerk chicken and waffles.
Passion fruit mimosa and peach basil tea
Everything was hot, fresh and DELICIOUS! I love a good Mac n cheese ( I think it was pimento too, YES ma'am) I'll be back for that! Per my bestie the Jerk was jerkin and seasoned perfectly and we loved every bite!
Overall 12/10 would recommend!
FYI: I went on Thursday around 12

So I decided to try this place because I've heard so much about it. We were able to make reservations. So please do that so you won't have to wait. They give you a 10-minute grace period; however, we were there on time. We walked right in. I decided to get the crispy catfish & grits! It was amazing. The grits were tasty and cooked to perfection. The fish and shrimp were both very tasty as well. My boyfriend order the Coffee rubbed Steak and Eggs. He didn't enjoy his food at all. I think the rub over powered the steak. The croissants were amazing. They have a drizzle of honey over them(or something sweet). We ordered drinks as well. I got the drink that's the house speciality. It's called a frosé. It was like a frosted drink. It was very tasty. It's like a bougie slushy. My boyfriend ended up getting the mimosa.. It was OK nothing to write home about though. All in all I really like the place the ambience is cool they play nice music it's very bright the walls are painted pink the tables are close together and they are covered with white paper that you can write on. They do have a downstairs with more seating however I wasn't able to go and view it. But I think if you go to the breakfast boys you will like it.
Karla Sutherland
Very busy on Sunday morning. They were only taking customers with reservations. We decided to order take out and used the BOGO offer from the FB page. The catfish, shrimp and grits dish was very tasty and the portion size was great. I have leftovers for tomorrow. We will be back to try other dishes.
Kat Sewell
A great breakfast spot: good food, friendly & attentive staff. The Ultimate Oatmeal is my go to. On a recent trip, I decided to try the Upside Pineapple French Toast. It wasn't quite what I was expecting; it seemed just like French toast with a slice of pineapple. I'm not likely to order it again. I also ordered the Honey Oat Milk Latte, and it was cold - not even warm. Regardless, I still highly recommend this place and do plan on eating here again (but I'll probably just get my usual).
Review updated to add photo of the Ultimate Oatmeal.

What can I say?!? After driving an hour, we were hoping everything would be great… and it was. From the time we entered we were greeted with a smile and hello. Our waitress was amazing. The food and drinks were great. This was definitely worth the drive.
Tanisha Knott
I ordered the buy one get one free Fish/Shimp and Grits; as I was sent a coupon if I sign up for text messages. But the catch, the other guest cannot have the “free” meal. My guest does not eat Shrimp and grits, it was just the point that it was a stipulation. But the entrée was really good. The waitress asked my guest if she wanted her eggs soft or hard— and she stated she wanted them medium- in between- but the waitress said they don’t make the eggs “medium” only soft or hard. Ummm, ok if the chef can’t make “medium” eggs. It did take a long time for us to get our food, but it was crowded. But what I hated about this experience was the parking. It’s literally no place to park. It took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot. The host said we can park at the law office next door, but they had several signs the stated, Do Not Park, Private Parking. The side streets had signs that said Residential Parking only, with tow truck information. There was also a tow truck parked on the side street, like he was waiting on a call. I dont want to get towed or get a ticket. So I parked at the Captain D’s- two blocks away. Because of the parking, I will NOT be back.

The Breakfast Boys are the epitome of professionalism and efficiency. I had a wonderful experience with their staff. Jamiya and April are helpful and pleasant hostesses. Kelesha was an awesome waitress. Going on Kelesha's recommendation I had the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles with peach basil lemonade. The food was delicious and wonderful. My party of 4 was seated quickly and the food came out fast. The vibe of the restaurant was so great. I really enjoyed my experience and I will be back!
m.d. boykin-webb
I have now had two visits here...the food was ok the pancakes where different I would say the decor was something to have conversation over I would say the mimosa could of been better parking is a small task so be ready and the wait times also we will see in the next few months how this fare out
Edgar Mejia
Had the waffles & fried chicken Cajun style and it was simple the best meal. This after 5 days of travel, and eating out 3 meals a day. The place has a great vibe as well.
Mar-Rose Riley
Great atmosphere! Wonderful management and staff. And the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Not to mention the awesome t-shirts we received in honor of our AKA convention. The Breakfast Boys…Thank you so much! 💕💚 …
Dr. T. Mac
The catfish, shrimp and grits is a nice dish. It was a lil salty but the girts were creamy and the cornmeal catfish goes well with the shrimp. Definitely a spot you should check out if you’re downtown college park.
Rukeya Quinn-Johnson
The chicken and pancakes were delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and fried to perfection. The pancakes were fluffy and sweet. Our waiter was very attentive. Two thumbs up.
Kathleen Stansbery
We didn’t have reservations, so we sat at the bar. Charlie, who served us, was great and very attentive even though they were busy. The food is phenomenal. One review said it was the best breakfast they’ve had and I agree!
Donna Gilbert
We ate at Breakfast Boys today around 12noon and the food was Excellent!!
JB greeted us at the door with All his southern hospitality, then Keisha was the server with All the personality. And don't let me start talking about the manager L..🎉🎉
Fabulous Food and Above Average Staff, now that is a restaurant that stays on your list of MUST Go TO!!!
We Loved it, Loved it 💘
Rini Sarkhel
Food/drinks are expensive but good. Easily allow for customizations as well. Make sure to get reservations! Brunch vibes are amazing but expect service to be slow.
Jauquis Carter-Hill
Went here with my friends for brunch. We all had shrimp, fish and grits. It was decent but shrimp and grits is my go to meal so I was expecting more. The shrimp was a little salty. The ambiance was nice and unexpected. I want to go back and try something else. We had a reservation which was great.
Taryn
Hands down this is the best breakfast brunch spot I’ve ever stepped in. The abundance of customer service and hospitality is beyond 10 stars. The manager Demetria took great care of my family and friends as we were running behind on our reservation time due to traffic. She got us in and out on which seemed to be a very busy day, Sunday. Reservations are highly recommended. Great music, Good food, and Great service. The food is finger licking good. I ordered the Catfish shrimp and grits, no regrets in choosing this dish. Overall this restaurant makes you feel very welcomed with great southern hospitality. I wish I could say the same for other black businesses back home. Keep up the good work. You guys are always on my first stop list of places to go when visiting Atlanta. If you complain about this place you just can’t be pleased. 🖤
Diana
Everything my hubby and I ordered was amazing. The flavor is definitely on point and the portion size was just right. Can't wait to try other food items on their menu as well. Will order again 🙌🏿
Gloria Flanagan
There were some media issues, Food issues, Drinks issues, Parking issues, handicap accessibility ♿ from online reservations to cold food. The manager being overwhelmed from the patrons and customer service tried to rectify the situation as best as she could. The food requested on the 2nd time was delicious 😋. It's a must try for yourself restaurant.
LaRoyce W
Delicious and great customer service even though my daughter made us late for our reservation. 😒 They still graciously accommodated us. I had the crispy catfish and shrimp and grits.
Rick Paton
I will find a way to get back to Atlanta for this absolute gem of a restaurant! Asia and Elle were fantastic hosts and made some great suggestions.
The grits with cheese, 10/10. The Latte was the best I've ever had! And the chicken and pancakes left me completely satisfied. I can't speak highly enough. All I have to show for it is a photo of this empty plate.
A must visit!
Kenyatta Mcafee
Absolutely amazing! The service, food, atmosphere… all perfect! The food comes out fast and perfect! I had the green eggs and lamb empanadas and baby they did NOT disappoint!!! I live in the neighborhood so this is my new go to! Go check them out! Mixed crowd big a lot of love from the staff!
Kim Pavuna
My Daughter, sister, and I had brunch here. The wait staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was presented beautifully. We especially enjoyed the Fancy Hot Chocolate, the Cranberry Mimosa, and the Jerk Chicken.
Ms. Cookie To you
First time here. Always pretty crowded, never anywhere to park. Tried the shrimp and grits with catfish. I could have done without the cat fish, had a piece of tail left on it when it was cooked. Also cat fish was cooked entirely too hard. If I try this again I’d rather have it shrimp only. Ended up chewing on something hard. Looked delicious an it was just not a fan of the cat fish. Ordered this to go, please update online prices. I’ve attached a copy of the new prices. I wouldn’t spend $18.95 for this a little over priced.
Dale McGhee
We ate here April 8, 2022 at 10:40 AM. Our waitress was an exception to the Universe..Jalisa. She wrote her name on the table. The food was delicious and the price points for all those seafood selections made me dizzy. Very impressive. And I am seafood allergic. I will come here often.
Tahisha Hannor
Great atmosphere and great food! Food was served very fast, hot, and freshly cooked to order. Server Shedricka was very attentive and pleasant. Amazing family time!
Iyea Brandy
We called them a week out for a party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us. We have the best customer service from the initial contact, confirmation, arriving at the restaurant, service and leaving out. The staff all said hello, courtesy and professional. I was so impressed and amazed. My food was amazing. I will be back again and again….
Shadé Barnes
Food was awesome. Out server Keisha made the experience even more enjoyable. I really enjoyed my Fish Shrimp and Grits. Ask for Keisha when you visit.
carla lee
Veggie Omelet was delicious. Veggies are fresh and it was just the right portion. Grits are really good!
Kitchen was slow and my husband's meal came out when I was done eating. However they took care of his dish.
Jalisa was our server and she is the BEST!!
Sunni Secrets
i am not a member of the #litbrunchcrew lol but my experience was most certainly a vibe! i saw an offer for TBB on Facebook & tapped in... made my reservation and was all set!
when i arrived, greeted by the most amazing hosts & then i asked to be seated at the bar and 💥 they have a downstairs which is wonderful (i may have had a lil wait if my guests did show but nonetheless worth it)!
i enjoyed a passion fruit mimosa which was perfect & the catfish shrimp & grits. Ms. CALI was outstanding from start to finish! im definitely reconsidering joining the #litbrunchcrew now 😆
Champ Des
Had the jerk chicken and sweet potatoes waffles which was great. The catfish and shrimp grits was very tasty also. Well definitely come back.
Mandice McAllister
This place is a VIBE. Excellent service, delicious food and a perfect playlist. Our server Jalisa was wonderful. The grits changed my life! 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Ryan Reynolds
Found this place from a tik-tok. A little pricey but definitely worth the visit. Staff was super nice, food was full of flavor! The jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles were out of this world good! Definitely would love to stop by here again. Only reason why I couldn't give it 5 stars is due to the parking (not necessarily their fault),but I couldn't find a spot and this was on a Thursday morning, can't imagine what the weekends are like!
Marisol Ana
I saw this on tik tok, and it did not disappoint at all. Surprisingly I went at a pretty good time. I barely had to wait, but I do recommend making a reservation. The food was so good I forgot to take pictures before we started to eat 😅 the mimosas were made to perfection. The staff was very nice. Each person that passed me made sure to ask if we are okay. Definitely would go again when I’m in the area!
Lisa Lebovitz
Wish this place was closer to home. It was excellent! So many great menu items to choose from. We came early Saturday morning and were glad we beat the rush. They were packed by the time we left. Excellent service, knowledgeable staff, and I loved that they work as a team to help each other. Great atmosphere with good music and well-thought out decor. We sat outside and brought our dog with us. We ordered the green eggs and lamb and the salmon hash. We'll have to take another trip across town soon!
Shayla White
Went here today with family for brunch. The food was soo good. If you are ever in the college park area, check them out and definitely make reservations. Great service and the food came out quick and hot.
Tania Glez

Went after a birthday run with my best friend! We were able to sit at the bar! Jo-jo was an amazing server! She made all the best suggestions! Food was on point! Very savory! I had the Salmon hash with a side of fried chicken and a Frosé! The drink was very strong! Definitely coming back! Keep up the good work !

We originally had reservations at breakfast boys for 11:00 a.m. it does indicate on the Yelp website that you will have about a 5 to 10 minute wait after you arrive for your reservation. Make sure you arrive on time as you cannot be seated without a reservation, or you will just be put on a waiting list and you will have to wait a very long time. We were not seated at our reservation time nor were we seated at 11:15 a.m. we did not get a seat until 11:30. We communicated with the hostess at the hostess stand, that we were there 15 minutes before our time and checked in however we still were not seated until 30 minutes later. She was very unfriendly and very dismissive. She didn't seem to have many answers and handled each guest differently which was odd. As a hostess at the hostess fan you should handle each guess with the utmost customer service in a positive attitude no matter how busy, frustrated or occupied you may be. There is always a way to handle yourself when dealing in the customer service business.
Once we were set down at 11:31 a.m., our server came right over and helped us quickly. Our hot cocoa came out super fast as well as our appetizers. We ordered salmon egg rolls and catfish nuggets. Both were absolutely impeccable very delicious! And fresh!
For our entrees we had the shrimp and grits catfish entree and the salmon sliders with a breakfast potatoes. I had a ginger ale and my friend had two mimosas. They do not have bottomless mimosas just letting you know.
Our meals were absolutely phenomenal! Very fresh and hot. The food comes out pretty swiftly and that is a plus! We did not have much of a weight for any of our food at all. That was definitely a plus! Everything is very filling and flavorful. Once you get past the hostess stand after your reservation you will have a pleasant experience.
BusyB Chronicles
Awesome, great food! Loved the environment, would suggest making reservations online. When I called I couldn’t get an answer. So we waited 40 mins for a table, they will take reserved first.I will definitely return.
kareem wilson
Make a reservation; wait time wasn't long staff was attentive. Had the Salmon hash an it was very good. I plan to go again an try a different platter!
Kimberly White
We had a wonderful time here, Augustine was a perfect host. Great Food (as you can see most photos have a fork in them or has been partially eaten). Mimosas are a little high- can you say bottomless option needed, hubby needed a harderer drink option, Nevertheless, We will be back☺ and bring friends!
Jonathan Oliver
My 2nd time eating at this new spot!! We absolutely love the ambiance here. Consistent great energy from the staff upon entrance, we were seated very quickly at noon, and our food was served quickly and scrumptiously. This go 'round, I had the Sweet chick (breakfast sandwich consisting of a fried egg, chicken sausage, swiss cheese and a sweet sauce), and my dining partner had the Salmon Hash. Both were flavorsome!
Jake Paine
The food came out so fast, the staff was so friendly and greeted my entire family, the server was so sweet and genuine. We had a great time and I highly recommend it!
Patrice Mills
I have heard & seen many great things on social media about this brunch spot in the College Park area. It did not disappoint. Made a reservation the night before, arrived within the 15 min gtace period and was seated immediately. Although we were not able to sit inside the restaurant, the outside seating was not bad at all. The service was excellent and quick!! Our waitress was very helpful with answering questions about menu items so that we could make the best selections. Food was cooked promptly and brought out to us. I ordered the Catfish, Shrimp and Grits, which was amazing!! I will definitely come back again.
Rachel Boyd
Keshia was our server and she was very professional and funny!! we enjoyed our food it was delicious and the pineapple mimosa. the Louisiana style and black love was a vibe. I will be back when I'm in the Atlanta area. thank you 😊 💓 …
Cory Nes (Fork n Fly)
Great service, great drinks... there can be an extremely long wait. Put yourself on the waitlist.
I ordered the Lobster Mac & Cheese and wish there lobster pieces in the mac itself and not a little piece the size of a medium shimp just on top. Especially for $17.95. The meal is mac & cheese with a piece of lobster... I literally ate it in one bite and my mouth definitely wasn't fully.
My guest liked her meal but said it wasn't nothing to brag about.
Definitely glad we got a chance to experience this place for ourselves.
Belinda Boyd
This place was really good. The staff was very friendly and there was a nice vibe here. Be sure you get on the guest list ahead of time. Once they close the list for the day, you will not be able to dine here.
lee phil
The restaurant inside and out was decorated beautifully. The food descriptions were exciting but unfortunately the food and wait time was not. When my friend a d I arrived it was a lot of people and wait time to dine in was over an hour. We decided to take an to go order, she got the breakfast bowl, I got the breakfast sandwich we shared the pineapple french toast. Her meal needed salt, my potatoes you can taste burnt bits and the french toast was undercooked and lacking. We both thought the chicken sausage was excellent.
Kathryn Whitlock
Keisha was absolutely amazing! The food was spectacular and the atmosphere is incredible. Absolutely recommend any time you are in the area. I will return every time

My and my wife were in Atlanta to celebrate our 7th year anniversary of being married and enjoy our 5 strait Cricket Celebration Bowl Football game between MEAC and SWAC HBCU football.

Wow! What a great experience!!
We were in from out of state visiting our son and wanted to take him to breakfast, but didn't want to have to wait forever. I found The Breakfast Boys through Yelp with the filter of "Reservations". I'm so glad I made a reservation because this restaurant was hopping and had people waiting to be seated!
The entire staff is super nice. It was like going to a friend's house. The food was amazing and we left stuffed!
Erika
Came for my birthday, our server was Jalisa and she really was amazing, friendly and helpful, great recommendations and attentive to what we needed. The food was great, salmon egg rolls were a fantastic appetizer, and I had the coffee rubbed steak and eggs. We celebrated with mimosas, and had a great time in a nice atmosphere. The decor is fun too, I really liked the feather lights. Prices are up there for my normal breakfast budget but well worth it for the food and ambiance, especially for any special occasion. Definitely would recommend!

RECOMMEND........GO HERE. My first time here and the reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would be nice if the menu had other meat options besides chicken, pork and seafood. For someone who doesn't or can't eat any of those it really limits the menu options. NOW.........I ordered creamy grits and the fried green tomato salad (I think it has a different name, but it is a salad with fried green tomatoes). I got the grits because our waitress said they were good and I love grits. These are made with cream cheese and while the texture was on point, I wasn't able to eat them because the taste just didn't work for me. I love cream cheese......on bagels. But, I can see how some probably really like them because it is a unique taste. My fried green tomato salad was BOMB!!! A couple sitting across from me said they were watching me eat because they could see how delicious it was on my face and I don't know what to say, other than I thoroughly enjoyed those raw greens and fried green tomatoes. My cousin had eggs and another dish, which they enjoyed as well. Will go back just for the tomatoes if nothing else. The ambiance was nice. Only upstairs was open. It didn't feel like a lot of people were there, but the sound carried in the building and it was hard to hear or talk without having to raise your voice. Staff were pleasant and service was timely.

Stopped by while in the area on a Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, we asked the wait and he said 2 hours. Lol. I said no thanks and he proceeded to say but I can seat you here (outside area). Cool. We sat for a moment until the table was cleaned and prepared and as we were directed to sit, he then stated we could sit inside. Again, cool. He walkie talkie'd to a young lady and when we walked in, she sat us. It was a typical nowadays brunch crowd. Again as I always mention the seating situations, it is some areas of a "turn to your neighbor" situation, so if that's too close, maybe outside is best for you. Our server was very polite and attentive. We ordered after about 10 mins. Reviewing the menu over and over. Not really an array of food items, in my opinion. Kinda redundant. I did find it to be overpriced for some things. My sandwich/croissant for example. $20 is a bit much for bacon egg and cheese, but to each it's own. It wasn't much bacon. Enough to fit on one side. Burnt and brittle. The jelly is on top of the sandwich and a bit messy. Definitely would've preferred it on the inside. If given the option, which I can't remember if this was mentioned on the menu, I would've done without if I saw it. The grits were okay. Parking was 'meh'. We parked across the street. Idk if people paid to park as it was listed on the outside of the business. Can't confirm if they have people actively coming to boot/tow cars or not but again it's listed on the sign. So, with that being said. I'm there for the experience and this was mine alone. If things were subpar for me, it could be that was across the board or as I have stated before, maybe it was just that day and that cook/chef. Nevertheless, I'm all for supporting businesses so if you want to give it a try, go for it. I saw some plates come out that looked appealing but not sure I would be back and that due to other reasons.

We had breakfast here and it was wonderful. My husband and I left with smiles on our faces. Worth every penny. The ambience is great and every single staff member greeted us on the way downstairs. Showed true Black excellence with outstanding customer service. Peaches was absolutely amazing. She made us want to keep ordering things lol she was truly wonderful. I absolutely love this place and will be back once a month. We ordered French toast and pancakes with 4 mimosas. Delicious and comforting. Can't wait to go back and try the shrimp and grits! Thank you all so much for the experience AND amazing food and drinks.

Great food and service. Highly recommend the fish, shrimp and grits and don't recommend the upside down pineapple French toast. If was nothing spectacular and pricey. Awesome service and here's a quick tip... if the wait is long, you can go next door to El Jefe Cigar Co and pay a "skip fee" of $10 and bypass the wait (if you don't mind the smell of cigars). We did this and it was perfect. We bypassed the 45 minute wait and ate there and we didn't have to pay the skip fee since we purchased a couple cigars afterward. I'm going to do a separate review on El Jefe if you want to know about the experience.

The passion fruit mimosas are sooo good! The food is sooo good! The service was great. Our server Shericka was awesome!

I see why this place stays packed. Food and drinks were delicious. I’m giving them 4 stars because they forgot my eggs and never brought them even though I reminded the waitress.

The food was fantastic! Always wanted to go to this restaurant but every time we decided it was always an hour wait, we finally went on a weekday morning still a little packed but made it in with no problems

Neish was our server and she was so welcoming and attentive. Super sweet! The food- OMG. Everything we got was SPECTACULAR! The atmosphere was a whole vibe…. Loved it- will be back!

When looking for a brunch place to go this place comes up as top notch on yelp. I choose a 3p time stop by and I got lucky as they were not busy at all. My only issue was trying to get seated. I stood at the hostess stand for over 5/6 minutes before I had to ask to be seated. I almost left as it seemed like I wasn't going to be greeted at all. I went to counter where I spoke to a young lady name Tomorrow. She was so kind that I decided to just sit at the counter to est. Tomorrow endup being my server😊 I had the signature bragged about dish, Sweet potato Waffles and Jerk Chicken. Not only was it beautiful, flower and all, it tasted amazing....but the passion fruit mimosas made it even better. I am definitely coming back. I told Tomorrow it was her excellent service and the food that will be my reason to return. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were clean and right before I left the manager greeted me. It made me feel right at home when she found out it was my first time there.

So let me tell you. The food was good and Keisha took good care of us. I recommend making a reservation and you will not be seated until your entire party is present. The three stars is for the long piece of hair I found fried into my chicken wing, and I was almost done with my food, which killed my appetite immediately. The manager made it right quickly with no fuss. I still would recommend. I just had a bad experience at the end of my meal.

This is a charming brunch spot that we happened upon while in South Atlanta. If you consider going, make reservations regardless of what time you go. This place gets packed quickly, and have a strict reservation policy, but totally worth the wait. The portions we had for brunch were huge and delicious (meat lovers omelette and the sweet chick, which was an amazing breakfast sandwich). Mimosas are generous and the perfect way to start your weekend morning. Highly recommend them!

This place is a whole vibe! The food: spectacular! The ambiance: hype and lounge-like. The service: impeccable! Peaches was an amazing server and ensured we had a a great experience. This was my first time, but it won’t be my last. I highly recommend The Breakfast Boys!

Came here for brunch with no reservation on Monday. Very kind staff. Gave us great recommendations and sat us downstairs.
The restaurant is two floors with a nice atmosphere. It even has a small bar downstairs if you are into adult beverages.
I got the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It was a great portion for the price. I also had spinach on the side.
The flavored Iced Tea... I think it was peach ice tea, was very tasty. I am always a fan of free refills!
I definitely recommend this place!

This place was fantastic. I had the salmon hash and my husband had the shrimp, catfish and grits...both were amazing. Kaisha was our server and could not have been more friendly. The vibe was fun, local art on the walls and great music playing. We love going out for breakfast and I highly recommend this place...we will be back.

My friends and I came for brunch. The food was delicious and our server, Trevor, was AWESOME! Will definitely return and recommend!👏❤😊

I love the energy at breakfast boys. The food is made to order, delivered to your table in a flash, and with a smile. Toya and Q are lovely and represent the restaurant well. The chicken and waffles is where it's at. Once I saw it I didn't really see a point in ordering anything else. This place is off the beaten path and I enjoyed the exclusivity accompanying the experience.

The food was Amazing and the staff was welcoming. Jalisa was the best waitress ever.

I was and am still beyond excited about this place! Felt like I was home and i was visiting from ILLINOIS for my birthday! Shrimp and grits with fried catfish on top 🥰 …
Kenerah Baul
I LOVED IT. Me and my husband are visiting Atlanta for the first time and we stopped to see my aunt. She told us about this place so we all decided to go for breakfast. The pineapple mimosa was soooo good. Me and my husband got the french toast and chicken sausage. The french toast was by far the best I ever tasted and the sausage was HUGE. The servers were all happy and super nice. The designs were very pretty inside. The atmosphere was welcoming and laid back. Overall we loved everything and I highly recommend this place.

Just landed in the "A" for a girls trip and was starving! Plus it was early....so I googled "Best Breakfast Near Me" and this spot came up. I must say from the time our Uber dropped us off, I was impressed with how personable everyone was as soon as we walked in. Our waitress, Tesha was great!!! I had the vegetarian omelet and my sister had the catfish, shrimp and grits... Amazing!!!! Oh! I would also recommend the peach basil tea. I would highly recommend this place for a great breakfast!! Check the photos out! 👍🏽😁🍳🥓🥚

I’m from Orlando and my daughter made reservations to The Breakfast Boys. Let me start off by saying the food was delicious! I had the catfish shrimp and grits and it was amazing! From the time we walked in, we were seated immediately. Our server Peaches, was friendly, made suggestions on what we should try, and continued to check to make sure we were enjoying our dining experience. This will be my go to breakfast spot when I visit my daughter in Atlanta.

I went to The Breakfast Boys for brunch today 12/7. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. The food was delicious! I had the salmon hash...it was delivered to my table quickly, hot, and beautifully plated. It was so appealing I forgot to even take a picture. The taste of the combination of the salmon, potatoes, eggs, and seasoning were prefect. The croissant was warm and buttered the house jelly was very tasty. The service was good. The restaurant music and noise levels were appropriate to still be able to have a conversation with your table mates without screaming or straining to hear. Now, outside it was a gloomy day so it seemed just a little dark on the inside, but nothing to complain about. I will definitely dine there again.
Nicole Greene
First time coming here on Thursday and I had a lovely experience. No wait but parking is treacherous. Ordered a boozy coffee and the salmon hash, no cheese. Both were delicious.
Krystal Whyms
The service was great and the food was amazing. All staff was friendly and helpful. Our server Julisa was attentive, knowledgeable and professional. The fish, shrimp & grits were delicious as well as the chicken & pancakes. Get the salmon egg rolls for sure!!! Drinks were cute and tasty. 10s ACROSS THE BOARD for this BLACK OWNED RESTAURANT! 🙌🏾

Awful parking!!!!!!! They aren't helpful at all! While the food and experience was okay, admittedly, having experienced car towing tainted my dining. Might try again using a car service. Definitely there are location and parking issues for me.

Couldn’t wait to try this place once it up opened and I was not disappointed.
I was rather hungry that day so I had two entrees. The lobster Mac and cheese was really good. I only wish it was a bigger portion on the Mac and cheese. The fried lobster on top was really good. Then I had the breakfast sandwich which was huge and couldn’t even finish it all. The drink was a nice size and good. Bringing my husband back during the week when it’s less crowded.
MeMe Griggs
I’m going to absolutely rave about this place. Major THANKS to Cali, Charlie, Toya & Jalisa!! They ALL were great servers, hosts, bartenders, company, conversation, etc. Cali & Jalisa talked us into trying the salmon egg rolls (see pic) STRAIGHT FIRE 🔥 The creamy grits were good too!! I also had the sweet potato waffles. They weren’t my favorite, but Idc because I enjoyed the customer service and hospitality so much more. If you get a chance, GO VISIT!! Ask for one of these sweet humans, be nice & patient (they’re really busy) and enjoy their service. They’re all enjoying ATL and haven’t been living here long. Welcome them!! 🤟🏾

From the hostess, waitstaff to the food...I had a wonderful experience today. My server, Marcus got everything right the first time. Checked in to see if everything was alright once the food was delivered. My catfish was fried perfectly and my coffee was bold and hot. I am a happy patron! See you all again soon!
Joseph Mensah
The catfish was AMAZING! I was scraping the bowl for any remaining grits ! The jerk chicken is cooked to perfection and the sweet potato waffles are the best waffles HANDS DOWN. The basil iced tea is super refreshing, and the service was superb! Definitely worth the wait (which goes by fast)
Kay Dillard
My husband and I went here on an impromptu brunch date and it was amazing!!! Best brunch experience I’ve had in a while. Our waitresses were Jalisa and Chaz, they were amazing! Drinks were good and food was fresh and delicious!!! I’d highly recommend! I had the catfish shrimp and grits and my husband has the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles.

Excellent the food and service was excellent. Ask for Char-lee or Keisha both great servers!

Don and I first visit of this place, using their website coupon for lunch.
With pre-reservations, we were immediately seated and greeted by our waitress Kathy.
Upon ordering our meals we're served quickly and hot.
Due to digestive sensitivity, I could not eat the shrimp and grits special, but Don said it was delicious 😋 We actually tried a few entrees in support of this local business.
The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, with the kitchen at front entrance, and they have a larger basement area.
It was a nice lunch, so go check them out!
Thanks Kathy for working with me. KB

Let’s start with the bubbly and welcoming customer service from the door to the hostess to Janelle.
Delicious catfish grits w/eggs, and sweet potato waffles. Bomb coffee, freshly brewed basil and peach tea. Great music in the background. If you’re knew in town definitely worth the experience.💯

If you ever get the chance to eat at Breakfast Boys, pray that you get served by Ms. Keisha. While the brunch vibes were on point and the jerk chicken waffles were mouthwatering, Ms. Keisha truly made the experience sweeter.

Visited this restaurant today for the first time and it did not disappoint. Be sure to make a reservation to avoid a long wait. We had the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffle and the pineapple upside down french toast, they both were delicious! Bianca was our server and her customer service was impeccable!
Bethany Bixler Quinn
Arrived without a reservation on a Saturday around 930am, was initially told it would be a 45+ minute wait for our party of 2. About ten minutes later we were seated and a few minutes after that I had my coffee in hand.
Not too shabby for stumbling across this place during that morning's run.
I had the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffle, my friend the catfish and grits. Both of us really enjoyed our meals. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will hopefully visit again if I'm in the area. The only negative I can think of was that the dining room was quite loud and having conversation was a little challenging. But I can overlook that for the delicious food. 👍🏼👍🏼
Dona Collins
First time there. Food service and ambience was good. A little hiccup at the beginning. We missed our reservation time trying to find parking. We'd called and told them but we still had to go on the waiting list, they were so crowded. The manager however was apologetic and seated us within 15 minutes.
We both tried the catfish and grits and the ice tea we were not disappointed. We're going back on Friday. Hopefully it will be less crowded.

The food is DELICIOUS! Our waitress was Bianca, a KeKe Palmer twin! She did an awesome job and made our experience more pleasurable. You get plenty of food for your money, the atmosphere is nice, the drinks were strong, on point and the music was perfect. Grown folks music. To the owner and staff, Wonderful job! Keep up the great work! These type of business's can have my money.

Our first time @ The Breakfast Boys. We had a lovely experience - short wait before we were seated downstairs. Our server Aleisha was amazing - she was super attentive and gave us recommendations which did not disappoint - catfish shrimp and grits and steak and eggs. She also recommended the jerk fish and salmon hash which we plan to try our next visit!
G Martin
The food was great! It came soon after I ordered it! 2get seated fast l sat at the bar. The bartender was great, but my drink was weak. I still tipped her well though, because the person seated next 2me paid my tab! What a blessing! I didnt even know him but it was both of our 1st time dinning there. I guess that was our connection!

My server peaches was awesome! She was very energetic and explained the entire menu to us and told us her personal favorites. I would recommend this place and peaches as your server if you happen to be in the area. The food came out very quick and it was amazing! 10/10

After showing a client homes nearby I decided to pop in to see what all the hype was about. Sunday brunch was popping, plan for an hour wait. Luckily we were able to grab a seat at the bar (there are only 4). Service was friendly, jerk chicken, sweet potato waffles and meat omlette was BUSS'N. However, the chicken could've been served warmer and the grits were a little tight without a gravy of some sort. It was the froze with a shot of vodka for meeeeee!
Stop BUY and let them know that #RealtorRob with Keller Williams Intown referred you.

Had to walk tentively to our table due to the over-waxed floors. Although busy, the wait wasn't long. Food came out faster than our drinks!! Our bloody Mary was very weak. Ordered the fried fish shrimp and grits. The lobster butter sauce was so delicious!! Friendly service from beginning to end. A gem in the heart of College Park. A must go!!
Michael B
The Jerk Chicken and Waffles is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The cinnamon syrup pairs perfectly with the waffles and the jerk spice rub on the chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked to have crisp skin and tender meat all the way through. I would love to go back. Trevor was an excellent waiter, sharing recommendations and made it a wonderful dining experience.
Brigette Wright
This experience was well worth it!!! The staff was friendly and relaxed..There was a beautiful young lady cleaning up by hand trash by hand outside.. that blown up on outside quest...My server was CHARLIE....HE WAS AMAZING!! THE MANAGER CALI WAS JUST AMAZING!!!
THEY WERE SO FRIENDLY...WE CAME LATER LIKE 2 BUT THE WERE ON IT..Drinks were amazing...food came fast hot an an awesome explosion to to taste..we will definitely come again..love your staff..we will be back next week..we didn't have to look or wonder..simply amazing!!

The restaurant is small but vibrant. The music played while videos of musical group danced on the wall. The food was delicious. We ordered the jerk chicken and sweet potato waffle. We will return upon our next visit to Atlanta. If possible try to make a reservation. You will not be disappointed.
Elaine Mayfield
I came here to place a Togo order. I was greeted by Jojo. Although she was also making drink orders while simultaneously taking my Togo order, she was very attentive and friendly. Another young lady asked for my name so that she could keep up with the status of my order. All of the employees of this establishment seemed genuinely happy to be there which as a customer I love to see. I order French toast, eggs and chicken sausage. The food was great and I look forward to visiting and actually dinning in next time.
Deonna Ray
After class I called my sister and she told me about this place. She wasn’t expecting me to pull up and grab a table🤪 I had the pleasure of enjoying this beautiful atmosphere. The place is nice and bright and the food definitely gave me the home style and taste I had been looking for. No extra seasoning was needed to my salmon hash. It was perfect. Conveniently located around the corner from my house, I’ll be here a lot more often
9/28/21 Ok listen. I had to give praise to God when I saw you on doordash. I had been coming by to dine in but unfortunately parking was limited. Whoever made my salmon hash needs a raise, a bonus, a severance package, a 401k, the numbers to the mega millions, a high five, a new car, the sun the moon and the stars. You guys are going to have me broke and fat........oh well

My experience was half good, half ok. Made reservations and the wait time was about 20 minutes and that was fine. The server Shondale was great!!! She explained the menu in detail, was very attentive and I can appreciate that. The only thing I didn’t like was waiting a while for our food. It kinda took a long time BUT it was worth it. Salmon Hash was perfect! The pancakes were great and my daughter said the catfish/shrimp and grits were delicious! The prices are are reasonable. Overall experience was good. I would definitely go back!
Brian Gilmer
Outstanding service from Jojo, very attentive. Menu had lots to choose. Sweet potatoe waffles were excellent

This restaurant is one of the best brunch restaurants I have ever been too. Everyone is sweet and kind. Our server jalisa was very sweet and kind. She was very respectful to us and wished my grandmother a happy birthday. Our wait.on our food was about 6 to 7 minutes for a party of 6 guests. I will come back in the future.
Sean Cooper
Some friends and I visited "The Breakfast Boys". Had a great time. Great service, great food, great vibe. Kinda makes you want to linger after the meal. We went in early for breakfast and I can't wait to experience the night energy. Would have gotten a 5 star review but parking and the restroom were under par........... Definitely will return to this establishment.

Rsvp only...
We got lucky and found a seat at the bar. The wait was ridiculous but expected on a Sunday ..(brunch).. Our drinks were delicious and the bar tender *all I remember was she was a Leo ♌️** was great!!!!
Bianca McNeal
My overall experience was good because we had an excellent waitress Tanisha! My food was slightly burnt but they did give me a new fresh order of cat fish and I appreciate it. The vibes and ambiance were good but I would recommend playing the same music upstairs and downstairs as it was distracting and hard to conversate. Be prepared to wait at least 45minutes if you don't have reservations. I would say I enjoyed the salmon rolls, the salmon filet and pancakes but wasn't a fan of the fried foods as it all tasted like it was cooked in old grease.
Lanita Johnson
Brunching with friends on a Saturday! Nice atmosphere with seating on main level and below. Virtual DJ. I had CRISPY CATFISH, SHRIMP & GRITS with a Honeysuckle Lemonade. I enjoyed both! Close parking was limited, as I had to park across the street and railroad tracks. Would definitely return.

I wish I had something better to say. I had a mediocre time when I came a few months back for my birthday for an item no longer on the menu. This time one of the items on menu wasn’t available and the server told us it wasn’t good. Why is it there then?
I wanted to give it another chance but unfortunately I found myself paying a lot for a little. The catfish looked like it was just haphazardly put on a bed of lettuce. It was small and rolled up and wasn't even a large serving - it was just curled up pieces. My friend said it was catfish belly. The sweet potato waffles were a little too chewy and not that sweet unless syrup was added. Even my passion fruit mimosa was average.
The server was a real sweetheart and did a great job on a busy day. I love the ambience but the prices are far too expensive to pay for another small portioned unsatisfying meal. If I hear things improve I'll gladly return. But I doubt I'll be my to convice my first-timer friend to come back. In this case for $30 I did not get what I paid for.
Lori Flowers
This place is a must! Food was so good (and I was starving) that I didn’t even get a pic. I recommend the catfish, shrimp and grits. It’s one of their main dishes so ask for it. Special shouts to our server who was so patient and pleasant! I think the name was Julius?? Make sure to make reservations because this place was packed!!
Jurnee McCoy
Peaches was an AMAZING server! She explained the menu well, assisted us with all
our needs and checked on us consistently! The food was also really good. Will
be requesting Peaches again when I come back! Best service I’ve had in a while.

Omg! Omg!!! Best breakfast food I’ve had in EVER! The sweet potato waffles and jerk chicken are to DIE for! Chicken has plenty of flavor and not super salty! (Seasoned well) syrup with the waffle- a little goes a long way. Definitely bringing the WHOLE GANG here!

My husband and I really enjoyed our brunch date today! The Catfish, shrimp grits were way better than expected!! Super delicious!! Although the place was super busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food or drinks!!

Ate breakfast there this past Friday and everything was excellent! We didn’t have to wait to be seated. I wish I could put 10 stars. From the time we walked in we were welcomed with smiles and the service was awesome. I had the shrimp, catfish and grits, plentiful and delicious. Will definitely be back!

First visit came with prestige service and the highest level Southern Comfort.
The food, Salmon sliders and Catfish/Shrimp+Grits, were seasoned and cooked to a moderate temp. The grits also didn't contain obnoxious amounts of broth but a delicious lobster house sauce instead.
My server "Neish," was at the table every free moment to assist my party in menu options and beverage choice. It's hard to find this level of service theses days but Breakfast Boys came through and did it.
Shane Pape
I could not get over how good the steak and eggs was. Honestly everything was phenominal. Top notch service and food.
Barbara Bealer
We’re had catfish, grits and shrimp. It was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve had. Grits were nice and creamy. The shrimp were medium size and cooked nice and tender. The catfish nuggets were fried but just enough to add to this wonderful dish.
the Hungry Medium
Absolutely the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had in Atlanta!
Not a single complaint here. I had the signature dish of catfish shrimp and grits. Glorious!!
The service was superb (side note: our server Bianca looks like Keke Palmer for real!). The drinks were also really good. My niece had the coffee rubbed steak and it was cooked to perfection.
We went on a weekday but I’m sure they’re super super busy on a weekend. Make a rezzy if you can.

We were visiting ATL from Cleveland for my son's birthday and decided to stop by Breakfast Boys after landing. When we arrived we were seated right away with no wait. Keep in mind the restaurant was fairly busy. As far as our meals, all I can say is that the grits were the best we've ever had! Also, s/o to our server Keisha, customer service was on point!😉 We will definitely be back when we are in town again.
Jessica Scott
The food is 5 stars. Everything was amazing, the catfish and grits, the sweet potato waffle all delicious.
Parking was enough to make me want to turn around and go home. But that lack of reasonable parking is the norm for most of the restaurants in the area.
Made a reservation for 2 about a week ago. Reservation was for 1:15 PM. We checked-in at the hostess desk early at 1:00 PM. We were not seated until closer to 2 PM. I would not wait that long again. People without reservation were allowed to sit outside I wish the hostess would have told us that, we would have opted to sit outside. Just be warned you will wait a long time.
Nia Grant
I tried The Breakfast Boys for the first time and I can’t wait to go back. We went at peak brunch time on the weekend & they were extremely busy. Their service was phenomenal & we got our food within about 15 minutes of being seated. I ordered the jerk chicken & sweet potato waffles. I also tried the catfish shrimp & grits and everything was phenomenal!! 10/10
Danica Mckoy
I dined here for the first time with my sister and cousin. Parking was a little limited but honestly that’s an Atlanta thing for all the good restaurants lol. We were seated in no more than 2 mins. Our server (forgot her name) was very attentive and gave us menu suggestions. I ordered the Crispy Catfish, Shrimp, and Grits and Pineapple Upside Down French Toast. Both of my orders were delicious! I work nearby so I’ll be back soon :)
Bambi Carmichael
Food is pretty good! Loved the atmosphere! Waitress was very nice and helpful with menu suggestions. BUT She also expressed that she and others aren't valued as employees 😔 So we tipped her well and wished her well. Employees drive the busy! If theyre unhappy it eventually spills over to the customers. Value your employees!!! Without them there's little success when it comes to longevity and growth of your business. We are all in this Together!! I'd like to see Breakfast Boys still around in the next 5yrs! And I'll def be back!

You will not be disappointed. Everything on point. Chicken wings fried perfect and they were a nice size. Portion sizes are great. I am so happy me and my family made reservations. Our server Trevor was very kind and full of fun kept us smiling. Very personal.

Great food and service. The catfish, shrimp and grits were Awesome!!!
Will definitely return.

We were sat instantly upon entering and the manager was very kind. Our waiter Marcus was attentive, and kind. The salmon hash, turkey club, and fried catfish nuggets were OUTSTANDING! Best salmon I've ever had. I can even say the best resturaunt I've been to; and if you want some of the best cold peach tea... come here.
R K
This place is great! Amazing atmosphere and top service. The food didn't need anything. Will definitely be back.
sevyna neighn
Great atmosphere. The staff is absolutely warm and kind.
The food is good but seems they are trying to hard. They actually sold out of one of the simplest dishes, omelettes.
The grits are perfect. I got mine with cheese.
The drinks are too fancy mixed with oregano or basil, without option for something simple like mimosa or plain sweet tea.
Hopefully their menu will change a bit, but will definitely be back.

🥰😋This place ..I must say was great! Host was awesome! We recieved updates upon arrival..OMG! I've never experienced such great service & delicious food! The only complaint.. We were told our 11:30 reservations could only last until 12:30, because our table had a 12:30 reservations (sad face). So, we felt the need to rush and we really wanted to enjoy the ambiance of this wonderful restaurant! ❤ Would definitely recommend & We WILL be back! The Catfish, Shrimp & Grits are to die for!!!
Rachel Nicole
I was in the area Saturday for an event. I made a reservation for Saturday at 12. They seated us at 15 to 20 mins later as mentioned on my yelp reservation. The restaurant was packed and the tables are close together however it was still comfortable. Marcus are server was good and not much of a wait for it to be so busy. I ordered the catfish and shrimp grits and it was delicious. My side french toast was just ok. I expected it to have more of a pineapple upside down cake flavor and it was on the dry side. My rum punch was good. I would definitely comeback if I'm in the area again to try some of the other menu items.
Danielle Smalls
Great atmosphere good music and out waiter Shondale was amazing. She had great customer service and kept us laughing. I had the catfish grits and eggs… 20/10 I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back

Food came out really fast. Food was Really good, price point was great, and our server was knowledgeable, extremely helpful and a very inviting spirit. Would recommend and return a again and again and again! One of the best places we ate at!
Mr. Kinsey
Bubblegum pink and baby boy blue pinstriped walls give off a fresh energetic voice. The designs are topped with art pieces available for purchase and a champagne mural. It was busy enough on a Wednesday afternoon. My wife had the French toast with veggie sausage. She was not a fan of the veggie sausage and the French toast was underwhelming. it was served with a ring of pineapple and a cherry
. When I read it I visualized syrup heated with pineapples and cherries served over the French toast. I had the catfish shrimp and grits. I thought it would be a Filet of catfish which would've elevated the presentation of the dish but I can say overall it was very good. The nuggets and shrimp were well seasoned the addition of spinach and tomatoes added some acidity and contrast to the grits. My dish was 4/5 overall I would give the a 3.5. I would frequent them again in the future
Britt Harrell
Very good...we ordered sweet potato waffles and jerk chicken, coffee rubbed steak with potatoes, scrambled eggs and toast, and also salmon sliders with french fries...my favorite was the sweet potato waffles with the butter (I didn't need syrup) they were fluffy and not too sweet just perfect and the jerk chicken..I wasn't a big fan of the steak it taste like it was a little burned although the steak was very tender and cooked to perfection...the eggs taste like they came out of a carton but were fluffy...over all I will definitely return and recommend. Oh they don't take cash, card only
Mr Fantastic
Went in today on August 10th 2021, and was blown away by the smiles, customer service, food, and friendliness of staff. Only downside is, its busy. So if you are patient they will take care of you. I lucked out and got a seat at the bar. Toya our server was out of this world. She is always smiling, and was so patient and calm with her customers even though she was always moving. My date sent in a late request after the food was prepared but Toya took it in stride and handled it like a true professional. The cashier (New light skin pretty lady was great) and the bald lady truly gave BB its energy with her smiles and positive energy as she walked around and checked on the guests. The Shrimp, fish, sausage and grits are soooo good , they will make you slap somebody so becareful. I will definitely return.

Breakfast Boys is always my go-to choice for a good consistent meal.
However, the experience I had with waitress Jalisa was incredible this past weekend.
I never want another waitress!
She was so energetic, attentive and gave great menu advice with a SMILE. Absolutely loved her — and would probably be friends in real life .
Reese Currie-Marsh
When I tell you this was THE BEST service, food, and atmosphere that I've seen it a LONG time. The welcome was warm and sincere and your met with a smile.....The food was amazing! The service was fantastic.... The drinks were awesome! We will be back! Thank you for being open on Thanksgiving!
Taylor Harrison
Food was great. Thanks to the host for being patient while I waited on the rest of my party to get there. I will definitely be back.
Stefano Gooden
Never a disappointment here! Waitstaff is awesome, the feel in the room is always right and the food & drinks are great. Stopped in for a late breakfast and had the Chicken Sausage croissant breakfast sandwich. Didnt havve to wait for a table. Service was fast and very friendly. Food was on point - as usual. Be back soon!

We heard about this place and wanted to try it. It was a Friday morning and it was still packed! We had to snag a space at the bar otherwise there was a wait. Everything was delicious. The bartender took great care of us, answered all of our questions, made good recommendations and pretty much kept us entertained. Definitely try this one!
Angelica Harris
My gf and her best friend went to brunch last Sunday and the experience was phenomenal. We didn’t have a reservation so we waiting for like 30 minutes which isn’t bad when you are getting brunch on a Sunday. We sat downstairs and the ambiance was such a vibe (it’s cute in there!) I had a mimosa and my gf had rum punch. Both drinks were delicious. I had the Salmon Hash and it was so good. We didn’t wait long for food, the waitress was friendly and the service was great! I’ve heard great things about The Breakfast Boys so I’m glad our experience matched what I heard. We will be back again! I highly recommend this for a brunch spot on Sunday!
KD
Richie the server i had was polite and all of that but had no skills of be attentive. Couldn't multitask at all and slick rude but I looked over that. Food was okay and assuming the owner whom was walking was very professional.
Kelli Saizon
Hands down the best grits I have ever had at any resturant. Flavoral, creamy, no lumps, right amount of salt. I was skeptical about the chicken sausage. I would choose that large/thick/slightly spicy chicken sausage patty over bacon. The alcoholic beverage prices initially seemed high; however, they are a "one and done" with the amount of alcohol. Worth the money. Fun lively atmosphere. Music playing and videos being projected on the wall. If a good song comes on do not be surprised if patrons and staff suddenly become the Breakfast Boys Choir, in good way. Staff is attentive and personable. They really seemed to enjoy their jobs and working with each other. You can see the synergy and that makes a better experience for the customer.
Jeanea Whitehead
Great brunch experience!! Staff was lively and nice. Food was ok. We will definitely be back!!!
Came back today. Still enjoyed the ambiance and the staff was very friendly. The food is kinda of a hit or miss. We tried the salmon egg rolls and they were good. The omelets were just ok and my husband's salmon on his hash was very dry. We didn't even finish our food.
L Austin
My hubby and I dined here and it was OUTSTANDING! The food and service was excellent. You must try the BLT Stack...whew! The Basil Lemonade was refreshing! Ask for Ms. Jalisa!! She will take great care of you!
Nadra Davis
We were in Atlanta for the WTAL Conference and looking for a good brunch. The breakfast boys did not disappoint!! The staff was friendly and everyone had a great attitude like they really liked their job. The food came out hot and quick and was absolutely delicious!! Kudos to the entire team!! We will be back!!
Denise Walls
Yessssss......Breakfast Boys my EYE! That food is GROWN MAN Business! ❤ You get what you pay for and the service, food and drink is worth every dollar! When we come back to visit...we will definitely come see yall! We going back and tell our family & friends in NJ! ☺❤
Mr. Greg
Really nice people and Great place. Marcus was our server and he did an outstanding professional job. Thanks ✌🏿 sir. …
Dana Walker
Promptly seated on the patio as "walk in" customers. Reservations were required just as we arrived. The waiter, Trevor, did a great job explaining the menu items to us first timers. Food was delicious and warrants a return trip.
Onetha Albert
Great efficient, friendly and knowledgeable service was provided. I dined with a party of 3 and EVERYONE was pleased with their food. The flavors and seasonings were balanced and better than many other flavor combinations offered in high end restaurants. The socially laid back vibe is a plus.

Update: 11/12/22 Necessary changes made. And I updated my review to a 5 as promised! Lobster Mac and cheese is excellent!!
Parking is limited, but where is it not in Atlanta? We made a reservation and were immediately sat. The waitress Shondale was new and attentive. She got answers to all of our questions about the menu. And she was very friendly. The seating should allow more space between tables.
We could see the food being handled which was reassuring. We waited about 20 mins for food and I think that’s reasonable.
The sweet potato waffles were excellent. The catfish was excellent!! Grits were a little stiff, not creamy. That recipe could use a little work. But the taste was good. The food tasted fresh and was very well seasoned.
My 2 complaints, they use mini paper tablecloths and when removing them to clean up for another guest the waitress didn’t sanitize the table. She only changed the paper. :(
My second complaint is in the bathroom there is the decorative cloth mat on the floor around the toilet. Absolutely not, those are not appropriate for public bathrooms. They are super gross and dated. Breakfast Boys, I am begging you… please remove that before I come back to your restaurant. Thanks In advance!
Charity Costen
I've went two different times one for my mom's birthday and the second 2 weeks later for my bffs.
My service was dope both times. I forget my first waitress, but she gave great recommendations and did an excellent job. Peaches was our waitress my second time and did awesome handling a group.
My food was spot on both times. I was soooooo surprised by the jerk chicken. It had to be smoked or something. The texture of the skin was crunchy while the inside was juicy and not undercooked. I'm a white meat eater and the breast was delicious. I took the leg quarter home.
I absolutely loved the catfish shrimp and grits without the tomatoes. The Rum Punch was good along with the Peach Basil Tea.
Now I do say it's like a boogie Waffle House bc I can hear all the dishes and silverware (I'm sensitive to sound) so don't expect a quiet atmosphere.
The parking can be a slight challenge, but parking in the next lot over or on the backstreet isn't bad (just read the signs well to avoid towing).
And the manager is pleasant and hilarious. I forget her name, but she keeps the flow moving.
Natasha Rowland
First time dining. My food was just ok; maybe I ordered the wrong thing in getting chicken and pancakes. I didn't care for the pancakes at all. I could have gotten better at IHOP!!! At least my friend enjoyed her food. She had the catfish, shrimp and creamy grits. The waitress, Jojo always seemed like it was a bother to ask questions. I will give the restaurant another chance, but will definitely order something else.
Jamal Wright
I love supporting Black Owned Businesses. I also love supporting Black Owned Businesses that deserve it. The Breakfast Boys is both!
At one point, I went to this place 3 times in a month and it never disappointed. Everything was made with love! Pancakes, waffles, the chicken, French toast?! All are good! And the drinks are made just right! This is a place that I’ll take my friends from out of town when they want a piece of Atlanta culture! This is by far one of the best in downtown College Park’s amazing cluster of eateries!
Slick Greedy
Another great experience at the Breakfast Boys. Our waitress Janelle was phenomenal the hostess was great as well. And the food was absolutely delicious. I had guests with me who were 1st timers and they loved it too.
Jade V
This place was really good! The pancakes I had were light and fluffy and the chicken was seasoned nicely. Our waitress was cool and attentive. And we happened to go on the weekend Stacey Abrams was visiting. :)
Shantel Williams
BB has really good food. THE GRITS are a staple and so love them. They’re just DIFFERENT! The service and servers were cool each time. Have a little patience and expect delays on weekends. I will continue to return!!
Moochie M
Cute brunch spot to share with friends. Went randomly and enjoyed ourselves. Returned for one of my b'day brunches. It's always busy on weekends so a reservation is suggested. Had to park (metered) in the lot next door. Manager, Cali is awesome and other staff super friendly. 👍🏾
Joy Smith
It's my favorite spot for brunch now. I go for breakfast or brunch at least twice a week. The food and the staff is great.
I love the art and the decor. Some kinks, but in time it'll all run smoothly.
Neikishia Pharms
The food was good but didn't receive my steak or my kids food. I ordered a meatlovers omelet didn't have but 4 pieces of sausage. I was thinking sausage, ham, bacon. You know MEAT!! The corn not so bad in the omelet but next time I will get it without corn.
Justin Thomas
The food was really good, but what made my experience even better was the customer service. Jalisa was our server and she was hands down the best server I had in a long time. I love her energy and knowledge of the menu. I will be back.
Laurence Obi
Food's great. It's literally an open kitchen so u smell your food being made.
What made our visit memorable was Stacey Abrams showed up. It was a very pleasant experience in all. Will 100% visit again.
Hugh Shoff
It was okay. Not over-the-top. The food was good but the menu was slightly confusing as there are some small breakfast items but then some other things seem much more like a full lunch/dinner type. Would have been nice to see a little bit more on the brunch / breakfast menu. Parking can be slightly difficult out front as there are a limited number of spots in a tight area. Almost all the drinks come with a boozy option. It's a good place if you are there, but just ok to me.
Tiffany Gordon
Amazing service, food and ambiance. First time here. Came for brunch with friendS from out of town based on a recommendation. Our server Trevor was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed!!!Everyone working was super sweet and helpful. The frose was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I had salmon with the fried green tomato salad. It was everything!!!!! My friends had the French toast, lobster Mac and shrimp and grits which they loved!!! I will totally be back!!!
M Hicks
Great service and atmosphere. We were the jerk chicken and waffles and the catfish shrimp and grits. Both were yummy. The mimosas were also great. Will definitely return.
Keith Kumi
5 stars bruch restaurant all the way. Very neat and clean. Food was very on point. Very professional staff.
RegG Jackson
Only been here once and I enjoyed it. I appreciate that the Hostess and our Waitress were honest with us and gave us all the negatives upfront and allowed us to make a decision based on some minor set backs. I'm sure that if some people walked away after knowing the temporary negatives of the day(Sunday-Supercrowded and multiple Cooks/Chefs calling out) just helped the situation. I hear it's best to have a reservation for Sundays which we did not. I was impressed with the atmosphere though it was crowded. Another observation is that I saw 2 armed individuals which didn't bother me too much but as I said earlier it was tight in there and if something popped off in there it would be pandemonium.
Now to the actual food: I had the French Toast and Chicken Sausage with 2 Sunnyside up eggs. I received the food about 45 minutes after ordered although my Waitress said it would be about an hour. The food was delicious. French Toast good but would have liked some butter on it(I didn't ask) and the Syrup says Apple Cider Syrup which I was skeptical but it was OK without being too sweet. I was so happy that the Chicken Sausage was a pattie and not links that usually make me wonder what the casing is made of.
Overall I will be back but probably on a less busy day. Keep up the good work and Congratulations to the Owner and Staff.

Had the pleasure of dining in this morning gir breakfast. The vibes are nice. My server was Tequila. She’s such a sweetheart and very attentive. I ordered the vegetable omelette, with the creamy grits. It was goodt!!! I also enjoyed the Rum punch. It packs a punch too!!! So much so that I had 2. Menu is limited, but it’s delicious. And the crowd is mixed with casual dining and business professionals.

They food was awesome! Catfish, grits & eggs. It was hot and good proportions. Everyone enjoyed their food. The mango mimosa was also delicious!! I love the music & atmosphere. Our server Jalisa was top notch!
Alexandra Daly
Our waitress Neish was just as amazing and sweet as the incredible food! Definitely a great place to stop by for brunch and super close to the airport. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and cozy fun atmosphere! Great music great food and excellent vibes❤️🫡
LT T.
Loved the atmosphere, and more so my server I wish that I remembered her name so I could state it here. The food was okay, they turned on the A/C so my food got cold which didn't help the flavor. I'll give them another try maybe it will be better.
Antwon P.
First, the food is absolutely exceptional! I enjoy each time I’m able to visit. Intially, there were concerns related to my order, but the manager was able to handle the issue properly.
She was warm and welcoming and addressed my concerns to my fulfillment.
C Recks
Came and they didn't even have a waiting list the host said they can't take our name and we'd have to go on yelp to get on the list. When I went to yelp the waiting list was closed. Not sure why she'd direct me there when it clearly wasn't set up to take names for the wait list. We ended up just going somewhere else. I'll give it another try some other time and update my review accordingly.

I had been hearing about Breakfast Boys for a bit and decided to make a reservation. As a warning, the parking is AWFUL meaning there's really none unless you luck up on a person leaving. But that's exactly what happened, a person left and I got a great spot. I was about 45 minutes early for my reservation and planned to wait but they seated me right away...check! Observing the staff while getting to the table was a treat as they sang and danced while waiting on food or helping people. You can tell they actually like where they work....2nd check! My waitress (Sevyn) came bouncing over and introduced herself and proceeded to tell me about specials, answer questions, and informed me about the spot...ok check! My order came out pretty quick so I was skeptical but when i dug in, I DUG IN! It was DELICIOUS....SUPER CHECK!! It was seasoned to perfection and plated nicely as well. I could see what everyone was raving about so much so that I even ordered a dish to go. All in all, The Breakfast Boys is worth dealing with Main Street's terrible traffic and parking. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.
NARVAEZ L. STINSON
Shondale, our server, was excellent! She provided 5-star service!!! The jerk chicken, pancakes, French toast, cheese grits, and lobster sauce was soooo GOOD; compliments to the Chef!!! Oh yeah, you must get the peach-basil sweet tea. We are definitely going back.

Omg this is the perfect restaurant. The ambiance was amazing. This black own business was magnificent. The customer service was phenomenal quickly seated accommodating any of my requests. The manger and Jalisa was awesome!!! It was clean the food was great! Please support our black own businesses.

Omg! Everyone was right! This food was so good! Sweet potato waffle did not disappoint!!!! Delicious! Salmon egg rolls were superb! Service was fast! Waitress, Ms Kisha was very sweet! I will definitely be back!

Our waitress, Jalesa was great! Sorry if I misspelled your name! Very good service and food!

Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. I expect the jerk chicken to be a little bit more spicy.

This was my 2nd time there and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The service is fantastic and the food… *<Chef’s Kiss!!💋>* This last visit I had the catfish shrimp and grits dish. It’s a cute location with good music and gooood good drinks. I highly recommend
Robert Hill
Good food, but severely over priced. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Clean and eye pleasing aesthetics.
exie1974
Sunday Brunch was very, very busy so I was unsure what my experience would be (even though highly recommended by my good friend.)
I made an online reservation earlier in the week (for Sunday, January 15th.) We were immediately seated upon arrival. From the start, Bianca was very attentive and her service was top tier during our visit.
Because the restaurant was uber busy, I was expecting a nice wait time for the food from when Bianca took our order. Uh - I was wrong.
The food came out quickly.
The food- the food! My bestie and I ordered the house margaritas, the Sweet Potato waffles ( with bacon) and the vegetarian omelet. It was so delicious! Hands down, the best breakfast I've had in a long while.
Coupled with the stellar service and atmosphere, easily a five star experience for me!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nicole English
One of my best restaurant experiences ever. The food was great and the SERVICE was excellent. I will definitely make this one of my go to places. Our server Jelisa was a gem. Very personable and professional. She understood the asssignment and nailed it.
Andre Bradley
The food is unbelievable!!! That peach basil sweet tea is like something I never tasted before. It was hitting all my taste buds. The only downside was the parking, but the food made up for that. Simply unbelievable!!!
Caleb Clovis
Food was amazing and the service was great. Definitely get there early or make a reservation because it gets packed.
Jonathan Hazlewood
I was in town for business and stopped by for breakfast. I got the veggie omelette and grits and I swear, it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a while.
The flavor was defined and easy to eat and I had half if it down before I realized. The croissants? Oh my God the croissants.
Their atmosphere was on point as well, good music and staff.
Do yourself a favor, visit this business and keep them going.
David Cleavinger
Good local spot for some really good food. Omelet, grits and croissant were delicious.
Tasha
This was my 1st time at this establishment and the overall experience was nice. I was there for a birthday bunch. I will admit that I was late to the party. However ,the gentleman host that was at the door was rude and very unaccommodating. He tells me that they will not seat me after the party was already seated and I couldn’t order anything to eat. The manager quickly resolved that issue. So I would advise anyone who’s reading this post to make sure you are there ON TIME …so you will not have the same experience I had.
A1 “Since Day1”
There will be a wait, and it's well worth it. Food was great. Ask for Peaches for your server she is the best. Order a piece of hummingbird cake. Must try while in the area.
Cedric Jones
Great needle in the haystack. Positive and attentive service from the staff. Awesome food and atmosphere. Definitely worth the time and money. Oh yeah and they don't hold back on the alcohol in the drinks
Joshua D
The service, food and drinks are all worth the visit! Jalisa was an amazing server who provided a great first time experience and so is the bartender who was able to make one of my personal favorite drinks despite it not being on the menu which I truly appreciate! Efforts like that do not go unnoticed and I will be returning to The Breakfast Boys for more
Vernita Hudson
Van was a jack of all trades, from handling reservations, sitting you, cleaning tables & making sure ppl waiting were good. Service was great. Food was well worth the wait of 1.5 hrs. Ambiance was on point, as well as music. Will definitely be back!
John Hollander
Jerk chicken and sweet potato waffles was absolutely delicious. The general theme is classics with a twist, and the twists are very tasty ones!! Service was lovely and quick too :)
Kevin Weems
The food is A-1. I ordered the Salmon Hash with zero expectations since I had no clue what it was. Well, I was more than impressed. It was something different but very very tasty. Bring your wallet though cuz they ain't giving you this quality for cheap.
Chuck Marshall
Good food, great service. Pricy and carb heavy, but I liked it. Get there early for a seat without a wait. Parking was fine as we got there before they opened, but it filled up fast. There are also spaces on side streets and right across the tracks if you don't mind a minute walk.
Lisa Ellis
Everything was amazing. I Truly enjoyed the jerk chicken with sweet potato waffles other family members had fish and grits ,shrimp and grits ,fried chicken and pancakes along with mimosas to drink. #LaborDayweekend.
Twanda Evans
This was my first time here. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing.

Non stop delicious dining. A small intimate location that feeds a continious crowd. Breakfast all day, brunch, and many tasty meals to excite your tastebuds. From catfish and grits to pancakes and chicken wings as well as desserts to appease your hunger this place has it all. Parking is a premium so be patient it's worth the wait. Stop by and do yourself favor the friendly waitstaff will assist you in your choices. The food is soooooooo good !!!!
Majesti Natural Body Care
Breakfast Boys was our 1st stop after landing in Atlanta and I will say they aim to please. The staff (very friendly, professional, and welcoming) , the food (delicious, best lobster butter EVER!!!) and the ambiance (cool, calm, and relaxing) all a 10 out of 10.

Patrice Sumpter
Amazing....awesome....quick....incredible service. Our server Jalisa was one of the best server ive had. She remembered our order and anticipated our needs.
We order the catfish and shrimp and the pancakes and chicken. Im funny about my pancakes and dont like them too thick. These were those thin, delicious, precise size pancakes that melted in your mouth
Keep doing your thing Breakfast Boys! We will be back!
Retta Divine
My family and I came to celebrate a wedding this weekend. Our waitress was Jaleesa and I absolutely LOVED her evergy and she was definitely on point about her work first of all!!
Secondly, the foood!! MY GOODNESS!! I am mainly vegan, so I of course go for the vegan breakfast! It was de-lish-ious!!!! I personally didn't need to add seasonings! It could, possibly use a sauce on it, especially the potatoes, but they do have a delicious jam that she gave me for the toast that I also put on it. The portions of food, definitely worth the price. You will not leave still hungry, that is for certain! Oh! And definitely try the peach basil ice tea!! DE-LISH-IOUS!!! We definitely took some of that to go!! One very last thing, (and the ONLY negative) my Aunt order came with bacon and that to her was a bit too crispy that she sent that back, but everyone at our table, including her, loved every single thing else!
When I am back in town showing off Atlanta, this will for certain be added to the list of places to take the people!!
Natohya Mallory
Food was great, customer service was great, drinks were great! I will be back!

We came all the way from NYC. We absolutely love the pictures and vibe of this restaurant. Additionally the wait staff is phenomenal and the food is excellent. Quick service and so polite. Shoutout to Sherika we had the pleasure of being served by her.
Golden Goddess
It was the ambiance for me! The music was awesome and the food and drinks was phenomenal! A vibrant hole in the wall sized establishment. Artwork is beautiful and if I'm not mistaken priced.
Marilyn Owens
I love this place. This is my favorite place to eat. Everything is delicious. I see why so many people love coming.
Norris Williams
Not a place for casual conversation as I found myself having to almost yell to have a conversation due to how loud the music here is (when we visited).
The food is good and fresh, the staff is friendly, though, due to the location, expect some ratchetness.
Parking is horrible so arrive about 20 minutes before your reservation so that you can park and walk.
- Slight nitpick -
Our wobbly table was super annoying as we found ourselves spilling our drinks when one person touched the table. (Table for 2)
Ezekiel Fields
I visited The Breakfast Boys on a Thursday afternoon. I must say I was impressed by the food and the service was amazing. The food is a little pricey for an establishment centered around breakfast/brunch food, but I definitely will be back.
Obinna Mbachu
My experience here was great with TESHA as my server. The general manager was helpful and very accommodating as well. The food and ambiance here are amazing and I am happy to be spending my money with this brand new black owned business! The brunch food was so 😋👌🏾🔥😍. I had the catfish, shrimp and grits that has chicken sausage in it too! I will definitely be back again and again!
Kiana Brooks
Parking wasn't the best. I had to park on Rugby around the corner. Great service and great food made up for parking. Loved the vibe. I'd recommend. Go on less busy week day if you can.
E CARMICHAEL
Easily a five star experience for me. The food was absolutely delicious- I had the sweet potato waffles with bacon; My bestie had the vegetarian omelet. Bianca and the staff took really good care of us- top tier service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Radiance Marshall
I didn't take a pic of my food, but Jalisa was a great waitress! I wasn't a big fan of the grits. They were kind of mushy but overall everything was good.
Marcus McKendrick
Food was great. Had the salmon hash. Plentiful and scrumptious.
Taye Martin-Mills
I didn't understand what the hype was about, but the food was okay. The mimosas glasses were smaller than average, especially for the price.
Maurice Robinson
The vibe was amazing, as soon as you walk in the energy of Atlanta in undeniable!! The staff nice and very professional. I ordered the jerk chicken and sweet potatoe waffle and it was amazing. I'll be back!!!
Brenda Banks
This was my first visit. I had an awesome time and really enjoyed the food. Our Server(hate I forgot her name) was awesome, so friendly and professional. Will go back again.

Waitress and customer service great! Food wasn't bad either. Kinda pricey though..Especially the Mimosas. Overall I would go back..

Donielle Holmon
We had a reservation for 11:30 and wasn’t seated until 12. The food was great. Our server was JoJo and she was wonderful. The food was good.
Carla VanPelt
We had an awesome experience, this being my first time out. The food was amazing and the customer service was great (JoJo), the ladies at the front as well. Pleasant!!!
Tameka Smith
First let me say that the food was soooo good! We (party of 5) had a 1:30 reservation and were seated immediately. The service was awesome. Niche was a phenomenal server and she anticipated our every need. Again, the food was scrumptious. We ordered jerk chicken w/sweet potato waffle, fish& grits, fish w/ shrimp & grits, and a breakfast platter. Everything came quick and fresh! I gave the restaurant 3 stars because of parking (horrendous) and the music! Parking I can deal with but the music was sooooo loud. We couldn't hear ourselves think. Conversation was not happening unless we yelled across the table. I do not recommend bringing a child (our 10 yo daughter was with us, the table beside ours had a 2 yo and they both were miserable with the volume). We hate that we dont want to return because of thw music because the food was so good! will gladly return if the music can be turned down to a tolerable volume.

I arrived at the spot around 10:45am on a Monday. Parking was a task but we made it happen. As we approached the door, we were met by a Greeter- who then proceeded to let us know off the rip...There was NO seating on the inside for party of 2, we could sit outside or at the bar. Wait time 1 hour and 30 min. As we waited i noticed that the system for rsvp and walkin and waits needs to be fixed. That turned a lot of ppl away. Online system not working that well for patrons. Also, i had already ate and left, drove a mile down the block- then i got the text that my table was Ready. DO Not go between 11 and 12. Wait is horrible.
FYI we waited 45 min instead of 1.5 hours.
Other than that- the food was good. Nice presentation. The waitress was very attentive and nice. I had Sweet chic sandwhich with cheese grits , my brother had fish, eggs, grits, and potatoes. Passion fruit mimosas. I would come back and bring my mom.

Great food, and the peach basil tea was super refreshing. Make a reservation, but be aware that there is only an hr at the table once you are seated.

Amazing breakfast amazing atmosphere and everything was fresh to order. I had the jerk chicken and it taste better than Jamaican Resturant. I will definitely be back

Service is great, atmosphere is wonderful. Food is ok. The hype build up for them was high, so I guess that’s why I was kind of disappointed. Plus the price of the food is on the higher end.

Everything was amazing! The food was sooo good, we cleaned our plate! Drinks are on point! Service and staff was A1! I will be visiting this place again. On the pricy side but worth it to me.

Decided to take my mother & sister out for breakfast and had been eyeing this place overnight & was excited bc nothing is better Than good food & good vibes . When I arrived the power was out but I had a feeling about this place so i waited about an hr for the power to be restored. Upon entering I was greeted by a black man who was helpful & really nice . This place is IMPECCABLE!!!!! Like I can’t even find words to describe this place . AWESOME FOOD , AWESOME VIBES AWESOME PEOPLE . Jalisa is such a pretty person with sweet vibes . I absolutely enjoyed my time here and I’ll definitely be back.

I have to say! Our first time here and we love the service and the food! However this location doesn’t have enough area for parking! You have to go down a block to pay for parking!
Briana Booker
Food was absolutely wonderful! The erk chicken and sweet potatoe waffle was on point! Definitely worth it. Make reservations because it gets packed fast. Parking is the pits though.

My daughter took me to the breakfast boys t
his morning for my birthday. I'm proud to say that this was a great start to my morning. The service was excellent. The food was great. Our server Trevor was right on it. Good job. There was another guy assisting him who suggested a selection on the menu that would make us come back. And yes he was right. I had the catfish, shrimp, and grits. EXCELLENT!!! I must say that the manager L was very friendly and informational. Keep up the great work!

Everything was great. Our server was great. Food was great. I got the salmon hash and it was seasoned well. Portion size was huge. Honestly two people could eat off that. The rum punch was good and strong. The blueberry jam (which could be house made) was good, a little watery though. I didn't have a reservation so we got sat downstairs. Even if I had a reservation, I'd prefer to sit down there anyway. My one take off is the parking. Since the restaurant itself sits on a street, if you park in front of the building, it can be a little scary trying to back out. I'd would definitely return.

I have waited patiently to eat at The Breakfast Boys, and it was worth the wait! We chose this day and we arrived right after opening with no wait. We were greeted immediately with positive upbeat vibes! Jay approached our table and greeted us like we were family! He answered every question, made suggestions, and was quick bringing everything to us. I had a honeysuckle lemonade which was excellent and I ordered the jerk chicken with sweet potato waffles! The food was hot, tasted awesome, and did not disappoint! My expectations were exceeded from the greeter, to Jay, the food, and my questions answered by several employees about the hummingbird cake! We will be back and we appreciate this wonderful place and all it has to offer! There are so many restaurants that offer the same things which make eating boring. The Breakfast Boys have created an outstanding menu that will bring you back just to try different things each time you visit! Please support them, we need restaurants like this for a long time!

This is our second time at this restaurant and the food is delicious. The taste is the same. The food is seasoned well and the pancake is very soft with vanilla taste. The server Jalisa was very professional she remembered us from the day before, and remember that I like egg whites. She is always checking on us although she is serving several table. She made sure all our cups are filled. My family and I really enjoyed our breakfast . Please keep doing what you’re doing to stay at the top.

A bit pricey and a long wait but the food was yummy. I would go again for a special occasion. I would not consider this a casual eat at often spot due to the pricey menu.

We had a great experience from the time we walked in. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were satisfied. Jay was our waiter and he was fantastic. He managed all of his tables with ease and positivity. We had 2 orders of Shrimp, fish and grits, French toast and sausage with a side of eggs, the rum punch and the Bloody Mary! Everything was amazing!! Definitely make a reservation if coming on a Sunday. We will be back for sure!!

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment today to play catch up with my girlfriends. We were immediately and the greeter was extremely friendly and engaging. The wait was about 25 minutes (Thursday afternoon) but the greeter kept us abreast of the situation and when we decided to eat inside (we initially requested an outdoor table) she was extremely accommodating.
Our server, Jalisa was AMAZING. Not only was she extremely friendly and engaging (great energy,) but also very knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us frequently and filled our water glasses without request.
The food arrived pretty quickly and it did not disappoint. Everyone at our table was beyond happy with their order. While I only had oatmeal my friends both had the catfish/shrimp and grits and one ordered a side of French toast. I ordered the salmon egg rolls to go and took a small bite before leaving and let's just say they will be devoured later.....AMAZING.
Overall, this establishment did not disappoint and I cant wait to return so I can actually sample more on the menu.

My salmon sliders were good. However, the 1 hour wait to get in after making a reservation was not worth it. The customer service was good overall. The servers and the hostess outside were very pleasant. The hostess at the booth inside was unprofessional.
The ambiance was nice but I will not go back. The experience was not worth the headache.

My wife & I enjoyed ourselves! Food & service were both top-tier! We'll be back! 🔥🔥🔥!!! …

This place is definitely worth the hype. We stopped here after an early morning ATL airport arrival (it is a 10 minute or so drive away) and were able to get seated right away. I did make a reservation in the event we needed it, but tables were plentiful at 9AM on a Friday. We had the catfish, shrimp, & grits, steel cut oatmeal, a side of chicken wings, and a couple of mimosas. Everything was 10/10 and seasoned to perfection. I will most definitely make it a point to stop here again when in Atlanta.

Wow! Food and ambiance was amazing. Our server was very attentive and even the hostess was impressive with attention to detail and making sure our reservation time was honored. The food was delicious, we both enjoyed the catfish & grits and salmon sliders. I’d definitely recommend and I will be back!

I’m a big fan of Lorenzo Wyche and his restaurants, so I was super excited to try out this spot. Reservations are highly encouraged because this place is BUSY and popular. Service was spectacular and fast, food was tasty, flavorful, and price point was appropriate. Parking can be found in the surrounding neighborhood and was pretty easy. Can’t wait to come back on my next Atlanta visit. Don’t hesitate- GO!!
