This was definitely a great find! From what we have heard normally it is packed out but we came at the perfect time, it was only a few of us in there. Very clean and great atmosphere. We got a hooka with the suggested flavors of blue mist and pineapple, it was great. The food came out fresh and hot and full of flavor. Definitely would love to see the night life. Drinks were great!

Be on the lookout when you drive by because you might miss it! It was pretty empty when we went in. Tee was very helpful and gave great drink suggestions. I ordered the crab cakes, tropical seafood paradise, sweet plantain, and oxtail. The crab cakes were good but they were more like dumplings. The seafood paradise was amazing. The oxtail was good, but a small portion. My biggest issue was the fact that there was a 20% service charge. Upon asking it was the tip. Mind you, our party was only two people. I'm used to that for larger parties. I was a bit offput by that. I think it wasn't necessary for a party of two.

Found this spot for a birthday celebration for my sister. I knew she would like something with a laid back Caribbean vibe. Spice House definitely fit the bill. Parking could be a challenge if it was crowded, but we choose a time that was not so no problem. You can tell that the owner has taken time to create an atmosphere here, inside and out. Mission accomplished. The menu seems very well thought out. They were out of a couple items that we wanted to try, but we understood, with the supply chain issues. We had appetizers of Jerk Chicken Egg rolls and Crab cakes. Both were absolutely delicious. The cocktails also were outstanding. The lemonade is the best I've ever had. We chose for our meals Whole Fried Red Snapper, Oxtails, and Lobster Mac & Chz. The Oxtails were a bit underdone, but the flavor more than made up for it. Everything else was absolutely great! Keep up the great work. One thing I would suggest to management, remove the 20 pct service charge/tip added to the bill. I usually tip more, but left it in place since it was already added for me. All in all, a great dining experience and I highly recommend.

Whew! Where to start? The food was good, once it finally arrived. I ended up ordering an appetizer and a side because they don’t allow substitutions. Service was a bit slow. I had the fried green tomatoes and sweet plantains. My husband had the fried pork griot. The ambiance and live music were the highlights of the evening.

They are making changes to the place and it looking good. The food was off the chain and atmosphere was pleasant. The only problem I had is the parking. My 1st time here and I will be back.

It was the flavor of the foods for me. Had veggie options for vegans that were hot, fresh, ample serving size, and tasty. That’s really important to me. We went on a weekday and it wasn’t busy so service was fast.

We came out to Spice House for the Friday night live music and that did not disappoint. The vocalist was supreme and the band was good too. They played a good mix of the different decades R & B. I haven’t been here in years. But the service and the food are still just okay. We had the Red Snapper, black rice and blazing spicy coleslaw. As well as, the lobster Mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes and two drinks. The bill was about $100 plus their 20% service charge whichI knew nothing about. Plus tip, we spent about $150. This is not a fine dining place. But I do like that it’s a decent sit down dinner place to go on my side of town. They’ve created a new outdoor patio area and expanded the restaurant out to where the old patio was.

First I would like to say “Missy” the bartender from MIA was very sweet. Ok now I have been here before and the food and presentation was a lot better the first, second and third time. This is my 4th time here and I could tell the Difference. Salmon was short on being 7 oz but tasty. The Brussels sprouts ugh 😩 out of ten would be a two. Drinks were good 👍. Your Néw Chef or cook needs to work on plating for these price. I will try this one more time in the near future trying being on point!. Fried Green Tomatoes was tasty. Co worker said OX tails was good but not for $32 bill total $124 and they added gratuity in total.

Went here with a party of 7 for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. Parking is very limited, but there was off-street parking right next to the restaurant. When I entered I was greeted right away and escorted to my groups table. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The women's restroom consisted of two separate bathrooms that looked clean and spacious. Our server was nice and got our orders in quickly. The food came out within a reasonable amount of time (about 15 - 20 mins from ordering). What I drank: Rum punch What I ate: Fried green tomatoes and the SH salad with salmon. The salad was lettuce, 4 cucumber slices with half a grape tomato placed on top of each cucumber slice, and some sliced white onion. The salmon was seasoned well, but slightly over cooked. Things to note: the menu here was a little different from what you saw online so don't bother planning what you're going to order before you arrive. A little tacky, but 20% gratuity added to all checks AND only 2 cards can be used to pay for the check. For a party with several people they won't split the bill and only allow 2 cards to pay. For a group, plan to bring cash or Cash App your friend/s that pay. Overall the atmosphere was very nice, the food was ok, the drink was ok. I had a good time but probably won't go back because I was underwhelmed by the food/drink. Four stars because I had a good time, loved the atmosphere and staff.

The Spice House Cascade is an excellent culinary experience. Definitely try the Snapper. It is a great place to host a get together or a birthday party. As a DJ I have spun many events there. The staff is great and the service is awesome!

If you’re looking for a hidden gem, this is the place for you. As soon as you enter the restaurant you’re greeted with a smile and some of the best southern hospitality. We were seated upon arrival. Most importantly, we received our drinks and food within approximately ten minutes of placing our orders! I ordered the oxtails with rice, peas and cabbage. Oh my goodness, the presentation was just as good as the food. I honestly ate every bite with no plans of taking anything home with me. The taste was superb. The seasoning was perfect! It was just the right amount to leave you wanting more. I cannot say enough about this experience other than you must try it for yourself. FYI, I went during the day so, there was no crowd. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was even better! Make sure you try the egg rolls while you wait. Thank you to everyone that made my visit one to review. We’ll definitely be back. The owner invited me back to the Spice House for another opportunity to have a better experience. It was wonderful. They prepared the Turkey wing dinner again and it was amazing. Great portions, tender and flavorful as expected. Thank you for your level of customer service and I will return to try more of your specialized cuisines

Great service at the bar. My husband had a meal. The portion was larger than expected so he lunch the next day. Atmosphere was chill vibe. Not too many people inside. They also offer outside seating. The drinks were pretty good as well. Nice neighborhood spot.

Atmosphere small and intimate Establishment clean, very limited parking. Staff nice. The menu was small and challenging but it had some items i liked.. When ordering they were out of a few items which was disappointing and I did not like the substitution so I ordered a pasta (it was ok) My margarita my GREAT!!! My friend order the fried red snapper it was GREAT!! black rice was the side item and it wasn't good. We did enjoy ourselves.

Don’t sleep on this location. 🥰Cocktails, 🤩 STONG DRINKS’ love the appetizers definitely order the Egg Rolls, we are neighborhood dwellers, love love love the Outside patio, and music. Bond Suites had our Christmas dinner there this past Sunday(12/18). We wanted to connect with and support our local neighbors when choosing a place. Spoke with managers, Ronika and Bianca(who were both very accommodating and professional over the phone)maybe a month in a half before the event. They both gave me the details for large parties however neither followed through with sending the email to secure the date with the deposit. I made a final call to speak with Ronika who reassured me that all would be good. And eventually it was! I'm really writing all of this because of our Superwomen waitress Erin!!!🦸🏽‍♀️ Erin and her sidekick Bennie made what looked bleak in the beginning a total experience for us. She single handedly served the entire tables with all of the food that they had in the back,(s/o to the two chefs that work that even as well, they start running out of entrees) she and Benny kept the drinks coming. Did it all with a smile on her face and was also super engaging and fun. Benny never did stop smiling, even while telling us about what they were out of. How could we be mad at that smile. ... What couldve turned into the worst experience ever was saved by two lone soldiers. Although neither managers were present that evening, the manager that was there(don't know his name) wasn't happy with the blind side but did his best to forge through and to regroup. Bond Suites appreciate the fortitude and patience that it took to pull our event off. We're forever grateful. Season Greetings 🎄

I love the ambiance. This was supposed to be a father's day treat for me but we learned that they have vegetarian options but no vegan. Oh well, my wife and sons thoroughly enjoyed the food. The only complaint I have is limited parking.

The atmosphere is SO warm and inviting, the service is superb, and the food is absolutely delicious! The portion sizes are more than enough, you'll correctly be taking a to go box. And the rum punch is THA BOMB!

Could have been more welcoming from the beginning, but it ended up being a pleasant experience overall. It is a cold, desolate Monday, so I’ll give it to them. However, their kitchen was closed at 8:45pm when we arrived and they actually closed at 9:00pm instead of the 11:00pm posted on Google. That should be updated. Save us all some time and gas.

I had the Rasta pasta with added chicken which was 🤤😋 delicious. To wash it down I had a double 🥃 shot of scotch straight up . My waitress was excellent and professional and also the manager who chimed in on our conversation . Live band was setting up I guess for later that evening , so I may come back to check that out . Limited menu and parking but I didn't mind , I stay within walking distance .

I've been hear a few times. It's my go to place when I am my good food. I love the rasta pasta! I normally get it with Salmon. I've had the Salmon blacken and Jerk. Both are delicious! The egg rolls are really good as well. The Tropical Seafood Paradise was amazing! Haven't had a bad dish here. Would definitely recommend. Service is a good 4 or of 5. Most times the bar tenders serve the floor as well. So sometimes it may take a slight bit longer for them to return. But. They are very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The drinks are very strong! (Only had the rum punch though). You'll pay about $25 to $35 a person which is not bad. Gratuity was included on my check at 20%. Gladly paid it and left a lil extra. All in all. It's a place I frequent.

let me start with the positive. I’m all for supporting black businesses. I’ve been here several times; I like the location snd convenience and being 🇭🇹. The last few times I come with my girls never had an issue w/ the food so I’m wondering if they have a new chef or are the better chefs are @ the buckhead/lithonia??? Last night i ordered the crab cake balls and they were delicious. I ordered the fried snapper and black rice. The snapper was fried way to hard, it’s was salty and fishy. My friend were served bottom of the pan rice, hard as all get out. They switched it out to the red rice and beans which was no difference. Our server was like we really close at 10:30 just really the bar and you all got the bottom of the pot… wth! Why take orders then? The At this point I just wanted to leave but she was so sweet and accommodating. And then to be charged 20%.to your tab… Smdh! This place is not as busy the last few times I’ve come and I honestly don’t know if it will be here too long. Spice house y’all need to get it together!!!

Went to the Spice House for the first time for my friend Lexie's birthday last night!! We had a blast! The live music was a whole vibe! When I say the food was delicious, those brussel sprouts were poppin!! I plan on coming back again today just to get the brussel sprouts lol. Four people at the table hate brussel sprouts but I shared mines and now they love them LOL!! Great job chef!!

Customer service is AMAZING. They have an outside patio area that can be closed off if need be, but it’s sunny out so they have it open! Bar drinks are well mixed and pretty tasteful. Would definitely recommend the Salmon and mashed potatoes for something light, but take home worthy or the Turkey wings if you wanna get full now and later. 😂 Great Location. Will be back.

For a down south Caribbean restaurant it was pretty good. The turkey taste just like my mom makes it which was very surprising. My boyfriend said his fried pork (griot) was very good.Everything here was very good the atmosphere is nice and the service was good. I would definitely come back here again!!!

Amazing coconut shrimp. Best I've had anywhere. I also got a salad and red snapper. The snapper presentation was beautiful. The salad was fresh to serve and the snapper was delicious beyond all expectations. I came to this place to just get some food but it was an amazing experience complete with great customer service by Julianna the waitress, great drinks ( I recommend the Cascade) and great atmosphere. I will definitely be returning here and recommending this restaurant to all my friends.

I have been looking for a Haitian restaurant for a while and finally came to this one while we was on this side of town.. the food was really good! The egg rolls were good and whatever that sauce was made it better..the griot was good, I think the rice could have been better.. I think they focused more on making it black rice rather than the flavor.. the Rasta pasta was great! My fiance and I both agreed that it was amazing..

This is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is modern and cute. It is small and quaint. The food is wonderful. My husband and I did not have anything we did not enjoy. The black bean soup is amazing. I could really eat the bowl alone. The egg rolls were ok. I would have liked to taste more of the meat . The jerk chicken is spicy; just the way I like it. My husband had the rasta pasta with oaktails added. Amazing! They did that. It was not over spicy but it did have a kick. If I could make any suggestions I think it would be better customer service. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great.

The food was flavorful, the Turkey Creole was more bone than meat, would have preferred for it to be marinated a bit more in epis. Haitian Turkey is known for flavor down to the bone! The sos was good, great pikliz with the perfect balance of tang and spice. The macaroni was more fusion than Haitian. Haitian selections were limited to Turkey or Griot as the restaurant is a fusion restaurant. Service was good, location itself is great for Instagramming.

Despite all the bad reviews I loved my dishes. I has the rasta pasta and the lobster mac n cheese and both were beyond what I expected. We ordered take out and the process was seamless from the ordering to the pick up. I will absolutely be back once I return to Ga!! Based on my picky choices, I highly recommend!!

Saturday brunch is the place to be! Enjoyed my crab cakes and waffles, and the rum punch was decent and plentiful. You'll have to ask for syrup. DJ spins Caribbean hits for well lubricated fun.

Haitain Resturant with a wonderful modern atmosphere; awesome music and vybez... the head chef is amazing and very personable, he asked us if we tried the jerk chicken egg rolls and it was our first time to the Resturant so he gifted us along with other patrons complimentary jerk chicken egg rolls and they were the best eggs rolls ever... we also enjoyed Rasta pasta and the salmon plate 😋 we sat outside and drank after dinner to watch the sunset

The food is always good but I always order to-go especially since the pandemic. I just want to know when did you guys start charging 18% gratuity on to-go orders? I ordered 4 orders of egg rolls only and I’ve been waiting for an hour. One of the waitresses did feel bad and compensated me for one order of egg rolls. I appreciated her.

The food was delicious! I had the Red snapper, which was well seasoned. Large portion size. The pikliz is spicy. Great service. Not sure if this applies during the week only, but the kitchen is closed between 4-5pm. Limited menu before 4pm and full menu after 5pm. Bar is always open.

Shrimp & grits (without chicken sausage). Food is pretty good, I go out of my way for it! The atmosphere is nice, I love the DJ (I think it’s Greg Nyce). Service is okay.. only reason I don’t give 5 stars. The staff is inconsistent, sometimes rude and ignore you/ sometimes nice and attentive. I assume it’s because they are understaffed.. not sure.

I really wanted to like this place but I experienced more negative than positive. I made a reservation because it was girls night out and we all needed to unwind. Once I got there I was informed that I didn’t have a reservation. So I had to deal with that; they eventually figured it out. We had several appetizers and they were all excellent. I was so excited because I just knew since my appetizers was great my meal was gonna be the same. Well that was not the case. My oxtail was ok, nothing to brag about but what really disappointed me was my to go order, the Lobster and Shrimp Mac. Not sure if they were just having an off night but this was not a great experience for me.

Great food, good vibes. A little pricey though. Stopped at spicy house with my mother on our road trip back to Arkansas. Seeing that Arkansas doesn't have haitian cuisine. I figured we would stop at a location in GA. Again the food was great but not having the price on the fish, gave me a shady vibe and $40 for red snapper just doesn't make sense to me personally but again it wouldn't have been a problem if we knew the price. Also placing a service charge on a ticket is just tacky! adding gratuity to a table of 6 or more people ok cool I get it, I worked in a restaurant business for years prior to my current profession. But adding it to a table of only 2 people is just wrong. Especially with no fore warning it will be added so. Overall I give this place 3 stars because the food was good just lack some professional courtesy when it comes to the aim for customers satisfaction.

I had the jerk chicken Rasta pasta and my husband had the oxtail Rasta pasta. The food and service was amazing. There was an issue with their A/C so it was pretty hot in there but we still enjoyed the visit.

update 8-18-2022 update.. enjoyed my evening after a good work out. the pineapple seafood dish was the best. customer service was A+. 5 stars 2nd time around... Went tonight and was highly disappointed. We sat our self. Waited 20 minutes to place drink. Got wrong menu.. Then placed drink order. However waitress brought wrong drink but did not ask if i wanted it. Just walked away. Waitress was unfriendly and unorganized. The restaurant was beautiful. But bad service.

I liked my dish (jerk chicken, rice & peas, cabbage). Cabbage could have been cooked a little more. Also had the plantains. They were seasoned good. I'd go back and the live music was good. Overall good time. Valet parking is $5 and you can pay via cash app. That was very convenient.

I really loved the rice, reminds me of the good food in Hialeah, Fl (Miami). The griot was fried a bit hard (as it should, but had a crunchy crunch to it). Again, I really loved the rice...

I came here on Saturday 3/26 and had the most amazing experience. We were a party of 7 and planned to check out another restaurant but when we arrived there the vibe was off so we left. We called to check on availability and was greeted by Latoya on the phone who was able to accommodate us. We drove 30 minutes to checkout this location and let me tell you the outside is deceiving. I was a little nervous because of the area but it was beautiful on the inside. When we arrived our table was already set up. The music was nice and bathrooms were very clean and smelled amazing. We asked to change tables because we liked the lower level better and they quickly accommodated us with no problem. We ordered the rum punch, coco mojito, Long Island, margaritas and a mocktail. We are from 🇯🇲 🇹🇹 and loveeee a drinky drink and this is the first time we ever went to a restaurant and got drinks that tasted like they wanted us to enjoy it. Our drinks were so strong and flavorful. Big up the bartender Latoya because she did her thing!!!!!! Latoya also played the best tunes and made sure to check on us several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The jerk chicken was very spicy which our waitress Tatiana made sure to warn us about so we put it on the side. It was really spicy for true but good. I tried the griot and it needed more flavor but I didn’t bother to complain about it. The rice and peas, black rice, green and ripe plantain were all good. The cabbage wasn’t the best but the service was so amazing I couldn’t bring myself to complain about something so minute. Usually when we go places and gratuity is included the service is poor because the servers don’t have to work for it. Tatiana was so sweet, professional, made great recommendations and even turned up with the birthday girl 🤪. We have been to all the other Spice House Locations and had so many issues with The lithonia location but this will be our go to for ladies night as long as these two ladies are here. Best service hands down. Big up unu self goodazzzz🥰😘

Came for with a large party to celebrate yh birthday dinner. Once the food was received it was flavorful but all plates came out at different minute hours and seconds. Many item ran out even if I ordered at the same time as another person and I was not notified until an hour after ordering. I think this restaurant was dealing with a short kitchen staff this night but the serving staff and people in front were amazingly calm and helpful, which was impressive given the number of hangry people in my group. I'd try again (& support my black businesses) but I'll order to go or on doordash bc I did not care for the in restaurant dining experience mainly due to the long long wait. It was 3+ hours for those wondering.

My friend wanted to go here because she loves the egg rolls. Im not a spicy food eater but I saw they had chicken & waffles so why not. Unfortunately that was only served during brunch. Im a picky eater and the only other thing on the menu was pasta. I want to praise the waitress. She ensured my meal was delicious. I asked for no spice in my pasta, but when i got it it was full of spice. I was just gonna deal with it but she went and got the manager to have the cook cook my food without spices because the cook told her the spices were already mixed in the sauce. Well she got me a new plate and it tasted delicious. All of the staff I interacted with had good customer service. The food was good and I felt valued as a customer. I would recommend this restaurant. Especially if you like spices and Caribbean food

First of all, terrible name. Also don't expect there to be free parking, there's only valet for 5 dollars. 5 dollars too much if you ask me. We got there and it was empty. By the end of dinner we knew why. My gay best friend wanted the lamb chops, they said they ran out. How do you run out of anything on the dinner menu before dinner service has started? We ordered the fried green tomatoes, big... mistake.... dry as the Sahara, no sauce included. Then we ordered the oxtail due to the lack of nonexistent lamb, mediocre. Have had better and for much cheaper. Drinks... literally sugar water. My advice, don't go there until they refine the menu and improve service.

I'll start with the good. The food is great and the portions are generous. My reason for rating three stars is not only was my order not ready when I arrived for pickup, but one of the entrees wasn't available. I ordered directly through Google since their website wasn't working and it wasn't clear that certain options are reserved for certain days. A bigger problem than that was the bartender not wearing a mask! I asked if the servers and others in the restaurant wear them and he said, "sometimes," and that he would put one on if it made me comfortable. It's too late at that point and not consistently wearing one defeats the entire purpose. I wanted to love and give this restaurant five stars since it's in my neighborhood but ***I need management to take public health more serious.*** The bartender was friendly and apologetic for the series of errors (food not ready, taking twice the time promised, entree not even available, and for not wearing a mask), but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth nonetheless. I sanitize all takeout containers and was never more glad that is my existing practice because you can't be too careful when others are handling your food. Please do better so customers feel more comfortable supporting you.

We visited this place on a Saturday evening. The restaurant itself is very small and the parking lot is even smaller. After riding through the tight lot a few times, we finally noticed patrons parking at the CVS on the hill and walking down so we followed suit. We had a rather large party and again the restaurant is small but they were very accommodating. It took quite a while before our server came over to get drink orders, so long that we ended up ordering drinks, appetizers, and meals at the same time. She seemed a bit off her game or maybe even a tad bit frustrated and it shined in her attitude. Her attitude and service got better throughout our visit so maybe she was just overwhelmed. Anyways, the food was absolutely delicious. The red snapper was fried perfectly and was super tender with each bite. The lamb chops were tender and well seasoned. The fried lobster tail was hands down the best fried lobster tail I'd eaten. The jerk chicken could have been spicier but it still delicious. The oxtail were cooked perfectly. The only food complaint was the mac and cheese, I have no words other than it just didn't taste good at all. That was the consensus of our whole party. The drinks were strong which was a plus. Overall I would definitely come back and I would also recommend stopping by for visit.

I was there for a birthday dinner and arrived early. After I was seated, I was not greeted for about 10 minutes. Servers walked by several times without greeting or even speaking to me. The food did not come out piping hot which means it sat in the back for sometime. I won’t return on my own accord. We have to do better in customer service and serving hot food. So this was a surprise date from my girl. Honestly this is one of the best places she have brought me. The food was amazing, drink perfect, and the service was perfect. Our waiter was Milano (hopefully spelling it correctly) who did an amazing job suggesting meals. We had the tropical salmon and the garlic lamb chops. Both were great!!!! Especially the salmon. I greatly appreciate the Milanos help, im pretty sure he is the manager, if not need to be lol. His service was beyond professional and greatly appreciated. Definitely will be coming back!!!

Great atmosphere and music. The place was vibrant. That said, the dish I ordered was not prepared the way it was stated in the menu. I returned it, but the waitress never asked me if I wanted to order something else, and didn't make an effort to have the dish correctly prepared. Nothing was said about the food until I got the bill, which still had the dish on it. The dish was the shrimp and grits, which was supposed to be prepared with sausage and peppers. The shrimp were 7 tiny cocktail sized, breaded and overcooked to a mealy texture, with no sausage or peppers. I also tasted the lemon pepper wings, which were much too salty. I know the restaurant is relatively new and are working out the bugs. I will go back because the atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxed. The drinks were good and I suspect they maybe just had an off night. I hope things will get better. I'd really like to come back and have a great meal in my neighborhood.

Great atmosphere. The gentlemen working were truly welcoming and demonstrated chivalry. The menu was limited as several items were unavailable. Our server ran down an entire list of what was not available. What we did select was excellent. I had shrimp and grits and plantain. Both were cooked well and the peon wad plentiful. After crazy evening, The Spice House wind down with my friends was a good choice.

The food was delicious. I had never been there before and was happy to find out the had happy hour and appetizers we're half price. So we tried four different apps: jerk chicken egg rolls, crab cakes, coconut shrimp and lemon/lime wings. Everything was great! The crab cakes had big chunks of crab and we're well seasoned with a crispy outside and succulent inside. The jerk egg rolls we're just the right amount of space and we're very tasty. I'm looking forward to going back. Our server, tootie, was friendly and very helpful. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because parking is a bit challenging, and service could have been a bit more attentive (ex. I had to ask for drink refills, check was slow in coming ...) Little stuff like that, no biggie, she was very good.

This was my first time visiting I absolutely love the location (local close to home), ambience and music. The patio is awesome. The spot has lots of potential with a good simple menu, that should be consistently executed to perfection. Santana the manager was attentive and understanding. There were some hiccups with my food order. My omelette was not hot/warm the 1st time and it had meat in it. The second time it was hot , but still had meat in it. I decided not to eat but my mimosa was good. Maybe I should have ordered something else. I will try them again. Definitely team local business, hoping next time I get to enjoy a nice meal.

My wife and I visited the spot one evening on a whim!! Now before I go any further let me say this. I read a few reviews and I can’t understand how people gave the spot a questionable review. Ok.... The service??? Excellent!! The waitress was more than helpful. She made great suggestions based on what my wife asked her!! Could the food have come faster? Sure. But we didn’t mind the wait! Keep in mind though that your not at Waffle House!! So don’t expect a 3 min service time!! But the wait wasn’t so long that it was aggravating!! Just long enough to vibe to the live DJ and knock the top off our drinks!! That were great by the way!! Not watered down or overly chased!!! The food was magnificent!! Overall our experience was great!! We will continue to support this and other establishments in our neighborhood that are providing great service in lieu of going out to the north side!!!❤️🖤💚

It became humid and the flies were swarming over everyone's food. The food was delicious but I couldn't enjoy it for fanning the flies. I’ve only been here for drinks and appetizers, so I don’t know how good the food is but appetizers I had were pretty good. I mean they aren’t going to win any iron chef challenges but they were quite tasty. The bartender was nice and chatty and the drinks were delicious, pretty strong and quite affordable. This place is one of the best intimate spots in the city . This is the area where I grew up here in Atlanta . This restaurant is forever growing and expanding not only on the food but the service. I really want to give it like a 3.5 but not an option. My favorite thing is that it was a small venue with an old modern feel. The music was GREAT; Jamaican/ Reggae but necessarily that type of vibe. Patio seating available when nice out. Non smoking. Good place to bring family and friends. Janae, our waitress, was polite and accommodating. She had a smile on her face and appeared to enjoy her job. Prices a little much for the food taste and quality. Adding a veggie plate option might be a good choice. I would recommend and I am very particular. Not much parking. Seating about 34 and one long party table that can handle maybe 10 -12 comfortably. About 10 tables on the outside seating area all with 4 seats each. Notice I didn't say much about the food. Not good (to my liking) but to each his own. I ordered veggie and they were horrible with no taste. My husband did not quite like his food choices. We actually left there and went to grab food. But the vibe, to have drinks and chat with friends - I'll give a thumbs up!

All of the above was what I encountered during my recent visit to the Spice House. Upon entering, I encountered Legend who welcomed us into the establishment as if it was his own. His greeting was genuine, yet comfortable and relaxed. Because my friend and I was only there to have drinks, we decided to sit at the bar. It was then where we encountered the Manager on Duty, Latoya. Her smile was conforting yet she ensured that each request and transaction was designed with understanding and friendliness. It was the ease of providing stallar customer sertvice, the quality of the product and the immediate reassurance for me ,that kept me smiling from begining to end. Both Legend and Latoya earned their success on this day , by providing "the" ultimate experience. Keep up the good work!

Update. Since it's opening years ago this spot has improved year over years. From decor to service and food the atmosphere has been impressive. This is the neighborhood spot without a doubt. One of the few places you can enjoy a drink, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

I came here today with my girlfriend. I ordered the lemon pepper wings, which were good. My girlfriend ordered fries. She said that the fries were bland. The server wasnt as attentive as she should have been. They also added an 18% gratuity to our tab. Despite this review, I will be back. The vibe is nice...live music on Friday nights. Portions could be bigger for the price you pay. Had a Rasta pasta with salmon and had to send back cause the salmon wasn't cooked all the way through. This was a takeout order, i've had better experiences dining in and I'll revisit again, but the Griot (fried pork) was prettt dry and tasteless. The rice was perfect though. The plaintains were pretty bad too, but plaintains are like french fries, if you don't eat em fresh out the frier, they probably won't be any good. We come here often. It's nice when they have live music, but you have to catch it. I always get the sweet plantains (the best) and the oxtail with cabbage and beans and rice. Sooo delicious. I asked to speak to a manager however she didn’t want to do that so she took The gratuity off and when she brought me the check back i literally waited 15 mins before getting up to find her in the front looking out the window n I told her I was ready she just rolled her eyes very rude! However I did tip the chef and another server whom helped me along the way when my server was being very rude

Visited this place because I kept seeing pics on IG. Decided to go NYE afternoon. Parking is limited and valet is the only option. Parking is $5 and the valet takes credit cards which is great. This place is small but nice. Nicely decorated. Staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. Very professional. I tried jerk chicken egg rolls and oxtails. The egg rolls were absolutely delicious. Very tasty. The oxtails were just okay. The oxtails came out lukewarm. Oh wait!!! I almost forgot. The Mac n cheese.... I have never tasted Mac n cheese this great. Hands down... the best I've ever had. It was so full of flavor it was ridiculous. I wanted more but didn't want to appear greedy. Lol. I will definitely return.

Placed a Postmates order at 8:40pm. At 8:20 The app said there was a hold up with the merchant, so I call the restaurant and the guy who picked up the phone stated that he informed Postmates they were closed at the time of me placing my order. I checked online and they were open and I drove by and they were open. He asked to put me on hold and then proceeded to hang up in my face and never answered the phone again... my co workers say this is a great place but I will never know.

Had their great jerk eggroles and Haiti Pork, both delicious (even fighting through the fire in my mouth) Great live band on the Friday night I was there and all of the staff was extremely welcoming.

This might be Atlanta's first upper echelon Caribbean restaurant. Laid back clad environment. The chef and owner both took the time to greet me and the other customers. As a repurposed auto service station, The Spice House's layout is very inviting with its high chair bar and center long high table for small party dining and an outside patio to catch a natural breeze while dining. I wasn't very hungry but wanted something to eat. You can't go wrong with their "Lime" Pepper Wings. They were very tasty and just the right amount. I also noticed one of their popular dishes that kept coming from their kitchen was the Spicy Grilled Tilapia. I'll definitely have to try it on my next visit. I recommend TSH to anyone looking for a break from the normal dining options of burgers, steaks and pastas. Here, you find flavorful dishes that will have you coming back for more.

Ordered takeout on May 22, 2021. I attached photos of the receipt from the pickup vs a screenshot of the google takeout receipt. I ordered the Fried Pork Aka Griot, but it was instead rung up as the Veggie Delight, which sadly I didnt realize until I got home. Part of this is my fault as I should have checked before I left, but needless to say this is the second time our order wasnt right in as many trips. However, I'm still willing to be patient as the food tastes really good (I dont know much about Haitian food, but I love carribean cuisine) and apparently the owner attends the same church we do, so we'll give another chance. We just ask to make sure staff gets the orders correct and we'll do our part as well.

Its more of a mixture of Haitian and Jamaican food but overall really good food. From the presentation to the decor. I feel that its a restaurant in the process of introducing the neighborhood to haitian food as such they have all the main courses but some haitian dishes may be missing.

They have no haitian drinks (like corosol, papaya, kachimen, passion fruit) at all. Out of the whole menu, they maybe have 4 real Haitian food, the rest is American. No fritaille at all. Basic Haitian cuisine is non existent. No authentic Haitian painters on the wall. Thats what i expect when i come to an Haitian restaurant. The waitress very nice and courteous. I dont really recommend this place if you wanna invite a non Haitian out to eat Haitian food. However in spite of it all, we ordered black rice with griot and it was a real treat. It tasted awesome.
