Lawd when I tell u.. The food here is amazing.. It was like fresh off the boat good.. Couldn't contain myself from digging into the plate.. Even though I needed to take photos.. Bcuz you'll never believe me but saying the smell alone was bringing forth a hunger I haven't seen since waiting on 🤦🏿‍♂️ppl at Thanksgiving time..u can't go wrong, the menu has countless items to choose from.. Don't worry about how far u might be from it's location. Just drive and enjoy

I have been at least 4 times now and I have yet to be disappointed. Service is good, they are friendly and courteous and the food is always hot and fresh. Review update: I went there for my 6th time and this time around I was highly disappointed. The food was overcooked and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. I will still give it 5 stars because it's one of my favorite places to eat and I don't want to change my opinion on one bad experience out of five great experiences. But I brag on this place all the time and I want my friends to leave there only experiencing the absolute best sides of Rahims. By the way customer service was still excellent.

Pleasantly surprised by this fish shack. They had celebrities on the walls who have eaten there. The fish was fresh and not fishy tasting if you know what I mean. The fries didn't taste like fish grease. Everything was really good. Clean, fast, reasonably priced, and tasty. We used a Groupon and still spent $18

If you want good seafood, it's here. Rahim's never disappoints. The whiting sandwich is fried just the way I like it, crispy and I love the trout dinner. Shrimps, chicken wings all delicious. I had the whiting dinner plate that came with fries and cold slaw. The fish was seasoned just right and they serve my favorite fries...crinkle cut with seasoning salt. The young lady that took my order was pleasant as well as the person that gave me my food. They make sure your order is right before you leave the counter. I will be going back.

I've been here quite a few times because the food is good but this time rubbed me the wrong way. I ordered the same thing I always get: Fish Supreme Combo, no tomatoes but this time inquired about getting a larger sized fry. I ended up getting an extra order of fries since I share with others when i come here. When I got home and checked the sandwich, there was a big slice of tomato sitting there. I called not to get anything for free but to let them know what happened. The owner repeatedly told me what i didn't say because she would have written it down. I have always ordered the same thing no matter if i called it in or placed the order at the counter. I know what i said because it comes standard on the sandwich and i cannot eat uncooked tomatoes. I have the same request no matter what restaurant or fast food place i patronize yet I was TOLD that i "couldn't have said that". Again, i didn't want anything for free or even a replacement but just to inform them of the mistake but was met with a condescending response. Its reactions such as this which lose customers and today that was me.

Good and hot fish, with their unique batter. They have been around at least 20 years, but this location is not the original. Small spot, attached to gas station, so parking is tricky. Kinda smokey, when you're in there. I try to wait outside! Overall good food, with and they sale fried oysters too!

I am not from Atlanta but my boy told me that the best seafood in town was at Rahim’s so I had to take the drive all the way from Smyrna. An I must say everything was exceptionally great and delicious from the homemade tarter sauce to the coleslaw and I’m a catfish connoisseur and I must say it was the best catfish I have had in years and I have had catfish all over the globe. An not to mention excellent customer service from the cook to the server to the cashier.So if you ever in Atlanta or the surrounding areaS make sure you stop by Rahim’s and get some real home grown seafood. 2 words CheckMate

I ordered whiting fish dinners, I couldn't give 4 or 5 stars because the coleslaw was warm. I am a food safety instructor for ServSafe and rule number one is always keep hot foods HOT and cold foods COLD!!!!!!!! Hush Puppies was really sugary, but the fish was delicious & hot! Friendly staff and fast service.

Very friendly and DELICIOUS!!! When we arrived, I wasn't so sure about the place, its in a small plaza with a gas station attached however I'm soo glad we came in, the fish is fresh, coke slaw is tasty, and the onion rings are BIG. This is our new spot! Oh, its clean :)

I love the signature dishes and beverages they serve that you wont find anywhere else! The food is made hot and fresh after odered. Food is over priced when there isn't an "Wow" factor. It's just like any other hood fish and wing spot nothing about it stands out. The air conditioning doesn't work so sitting in wasn't an option. The wait was long and all I ordered was a catfish dinner which the menu said was $9.99 but I got charged $10.99 for and a whitening dinner. I try to support black owned businesses in Atlanta but this place won't get my business again.

Change that grease, and the shrimp had no shrimp taste, I don't know if it was the grease or the shrimp being in the freezer for so long or what...... study your inventory so you know when to go out and get fresh product.... I could tell by the taste it's been stored for a long time and maybe I'm wrong

The food was amazing but sometimes it's best not to have your relatives working for you. The young guy working upfront should NOT be on a register or dealing with customers PERIOD. In 40 minutes there, I personally witnessed 4 altercations with customers. 100% UNACCEPTABLE

Please don't be put off by the location or "old signs"…the original Rahim's was located on Peyton Road in Southwest Atlanta but it was burned down. I may not be crazy about the new location adjacent to a gas station on Campbellton Road but I am overjoyed that they are still in business. Never had I experienced any GI upset (or any upset for that matter) at this or the previous location. I can never go wrong with their whiting snack, with fish and hush puppies fried to perfection. Prices are not ver $10 unless you opt for shrimp, which will drive up the prices. The sides leave something to be desired, but the fish makes it worth a stop!

It took too long to receive my food and I’m just across the street. The Uber eats Driver took the damn Scenic route to deliver the Food 😒 The Good News is that their was Sooooo much Food in my order and Everything tasted sooo Delicious! My friend and I passed through Atlanta today and saw a groupon for this spot. This is not your formal, white table cloth dining setting, but if you're looking for some delicious seafood, come here!! I love a good fish plate, and Rahim's is by far the BEST whiting fish plate I ever had!! I substituted my fries for the fried okra and oh my was it delicious! Also the cole slaw....AMAZING. The cole slaw portion that came with the combo was a little small but it was so good that I just ordered an additional side of cole slaw for $1.99. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. When I am in ATL again, I will most definitely stop back into Rahim's! Go check this place out if you're visiting the A!
