Wow. This was our first time here at Morton's. Heard lots of good things about the establishment. It was a busy Sunday night but we managed to get a table by the bar. We had ordered a couple for steaks with a side of onion rings. Prior to receiving the order, we got a massive bread roll with whipped butter. It was just incredible. The steaks were even better. Onion rings were cooked perfectly. Two thumbs up.

My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary; we made reservations. They made us a special menu that had "Happy Anniversary" on it. The sides are sharable sizes and does not come with the entree, they are priced individually, and we had the Smoked Gouda Au Gratin potatoes...Delicious. The food was good & hot, our server was very nice, and the environment was elegant and warm. They gave us our dessert on the house for our anniversary. We enjoyed our 1st experience here! They are a bit pricey if that's a factor to anyone, so know before you go. The attire to wear is business dress attire.

We had the pleasure of David being our server. Very knowledgeable about the menu and the different cuts of steaks Morton's offers. We had a State Street Manhattan and Golden Pineapple cocktails. The State Street Manhattan was STRONG! I ordered the dry-aged bone in K.C. strip, which is served with bone marrow butter! Also ordered the bone in ribeye, which was juicy and flavourful. Our sides were sauteed spinach and button mushrooms and sour cream mashed potatoes. Our dessert was the Hot Chocolate cake, which was very rich, but not overly sweet. Food was great! Will return again.

This was my first time here and I enjoyed it overall. I had visited a Ruth's Chris a few weeks before and was extremely underwhelmed, so I was hoping Morton's would be better, and it definitely was. We were seated pretty quickly and our server, Sam, was great. The ambience is nice and that onion roll was a delicious starter. I ordered the salmon with au gratin potatoes and it made me want to call the police on the chef because it was simply to die for. The au gratin potatoes were definitely the star of the meal and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The cauliflower garnish was a little over-charred but I still ate every last bite. I had the cheesecake for dessert and I will give them an E for effort. It was unique and tasted good, but I wasn't a huge fan of the blueberry compote as it seemed like overkill. For an $80 meal, I do feel that I got way more for the money than at Ruth's Chris and will definitely recommend it.

We were in town for business, and were invited to dinner by some of our gracious colleagues in the industry. After arriving, we were ushered out of the main restaurant, and back to a private space inside the beautiful building that this restaurant is in. We were brought to an impeccably prepared table with glasses, plates, flatware, and linens all perfectly arranged. Having worked out where we all wanted to sit, we were almost immediately presented with a variety of appetizers that were as delectable in flavor as they were appealing visually. Soon after came our salads, followed by our entrée, which for me was a very juicy and perfectly cooked New York strip...I debated the fillet, but I have no regrets! Dishes upon dishes of potatoes, asparagus, and I believe, spinach/artichoke dip (it was delicious whatever it was), were spread out on the table everywhere! After having all of this, and feeling quite satisfied, I was actually caught off guard when desert arrived... Wine and sparkling water were in no short supply the whole time, and conversation abounded! The staff was superb! Attentive, yet hardly noticeable. Kudos to your skill! What a wonderful meal and company all around! I would definitely recommend this place if you would like to have a lovely dinner! P.S. Everything looked so good, I forgot to take pictures until the desert :P

It was my first time and I can honestly say it was an awesome experience from start to finish! All of the staff members were pleasant and very welcoming, but honestly our waiter, Tim, took the cake! His service was superb!! I was there for a special birthday celebration and we couldn’t have asked for better experience. I don’t typically prefer steak, but I ordered The Morton’s Filet Oscar and it was just the right amount of flavorful deliciousness. Tasty food, a relaxing environment and remarkable service…to say the least, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! You won’t be disappointed, don’t forget to ask for Tim!

Hard to find a steakhouse better downtown Atlanta. An easy walk from many hotels downtown. I had the filet Oscar style, ordered medium rare. It was very good. The sides are family style. Nice tables, you can smell the grilled steak in the air...some might not like that as it was kind of hazy.

Went here and spent $300 for 2 adults and a child. They do not have a kids menu so be prepared to pay $35 for your child to eat a few bites. My husbands steak was amazing! The salmon was okay and my baked potato was completely dried out and burnt. We would go back again and only order steak.

Everything was exceptionally delicious except the main item we went for — the porterhouse :( It was tough to cut & didn’t have that crust of flavor like a good steak should. Though it wasn’t one of the best I’ve had, it certainly was far from the worst. I’d give the steak a 7/10. Overall experience 9/10.

The service was great. But the steak was the show stopper. I got the cajun ribeye with garlic butter on top. Lobster mac and cheese and cheesecake shared with my sister. Definitely recommend

Excellent customer service from the hostess, server, person constantly refilling our water, onion roll was delicious, my husband and I both ordered the filet mignon, sides we ordered were really large enough for two, Brussels sprouts, creamed spinach, baked potato (huge) and a chopped salad. We were there for our anniversary and will definitely return again the next time we’re in the area.

Made a reservation for my daughter and I to have an exquisite experience. Mortons hit the nail on the head!!! Ambiance, #NailedIt, background music #NailedIt, Flavor, #NailedIt, Price, DEFINITELY #NailedIt!! Every thing is a-la- carte and clearly portioned for two people. I got the lamb chops, (made me wanna stand up and say a pledge of allegiance!!!). My daughter got the Wagyu Filet and she bout like to tear up with pleasure. The Au grautin potatoes should be illegal they were so good and a must-try for EVERYONE is the Lobster Bisque. I promise perfection. Read all the reviews, people like me don't lie.

Impeccable! Hands down the best steakhouse in Atlanta with the absolute best waiter, Tim! We dined at Morton’s for my daughter’s 22nd birthday! The food….I can’t begin to describe how excellent it was-seriously if I could give 10 stars I would have to give more…lol :) But it was the service that made the night extra special! Tim is so detail oriented…he left nothing to be desired! He is one of best if not the best in the business! Tim, I just want to “thank you” again…you are an absolute pleasure! ps He even offered to take pictures of us at the table….I know that may not seem like a big deal but it is!

Dined here for my birthday, the environment was very classy! The food was amazing I had the steak and lobster and mashed potatoes with red wine. The service and everything was just great. I ended up getting a free molten chocolate cake desert for free. I will definitely be returning

Great Place for special Dinners. Morton's was amazing. For the lack of a better word, all I can say is WOW! My wife picked Morton's to celebrate my in-laws' birthdays, and I must that I am very happy that she did. The food was amazing, our server "Doe" was very attentive and had a great sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable with the menu, she explained everything to us very meticulously. We enjoyed a great evening dinner and want to thank the entire staff for their hard work and making our night feel special. Thank you....

So I went to this restaurant on night 3 of our stay in atlanta and I really liked it! The inside of this restaurant looked really nice and I got the prime ny strip steak and me and my family also shared a couple appetizers which were: the bacon asparagus and the cheesy potatoes and the appetizers were delicious especially the cheesy potatoes. The steak I had was really good as well and our waiter did a amazing job of explaining everything on the menu and everything that was on the menu. Overall I Definetly recommend this place if you are looking for a amazing place to eat

Upscale!! Food was excellent. Didn't like that the entrées didn't come with sides.. had to order separately and they were large portions.. I could have shared with 2 other people!! Staff was awesome and attentive... the crab cakes and oysters were amazing!!!

Visited this location on 5/29. First, just a heads up that they follow a strict dress code… if you’ve never been. If you aren’t “dressed up” or if your clothes are too revealing they will make you sit in the bar area. The waitress was very helpful. At the time they were only offering raw oysters, but we wanted baked & the staff/cook was very accommodating with making that happen. The lobster Mac & Cheese was very good. The creamed spinach was just ok to me (other’s in my party really enjoyed it). One side dish is enough for at least 2/3 people. The steak was very good! Drinks were good also.

Awesome steakhouse, we went here for an anniversary dinner. We started with the lobster bisque and then had the steak plus seafood and the porterhouse all were perfect. They told us that a single side would feed two as they are meant to be shared and they were not kidding.

Absolutely amazing! Our server Joshua provided the best service anyone could ask for. He was very talkative (in a good way), friendly, and made you feel like you belong. Don’t let the prices scare you as it is completely worth it. The food was again absolutely amazing and I’m excited to come back! Also, don’t forget to get dessert as it is completely worth it!!

the steak is amazing, I’d recommend sitting in the Booth in front of where they cook. The staff is helpful & polite. Try the oysters! Out of all the places I’ve been for some reason there’s tasted the best. It was so fresh! For dessert ask for the lava cake you won’t regret it.

Its not worth the money. As an European you are used to a much higher quality and better service for that price. The steak was ok, but nothing really special, same as the other food we had. Asking for a local lager beer, I got a shale Heineken, and the white wine was too warm as well. Hope this is not the best steak house in town and there is alternatives.

Was in ATL for the weekend. We were in town to celebrate my dad's birthday. They even printed on the paper menu "Happy Birthday." The food was delicious the shrimp Alexander was soo good, I'm definitely going back for that and the cajun Ribeye. My steak was cooked perfect. It had a little less char on it than I like from the flame on the edges but it was good. Some ppl with us tried the pork chops and chicken they said it was delicious too. The bread and butter was one of my favorites too. It's kinda of French onion flavor. The waiter was really nice. I'm not sure if they always do mandatory Gratuity but it was for our group of 6 at an 18% rate. I would suggest making a reservation they are busy.

Birthday dessert was the Hot Chocolate cake which was very rich in chocolate, but not overly sweet. It was paired with a double scoop of vanilla ice cream. Would gladly return again!

Service was excellent! Our waiter, David, was very accommodating and was always there to help. As for the food, I ordered a medium rare (PERFECT!), but my other family members got their steak as medium and it was OVERCOOKED! Beware of this… Otherwise 10/10 spot.

Came here to celebrate my birthday with the hubby. Both our first time coming here. The service was perfect and the food was even better!! I tried the 6 oz filet mignon with sautéed brussel sprouts and lobster Mac n cheese. He had the new York strip with au gratin potatoes with gouda cheese and bacon. I got the hit chocolate cake for a dessert and everything was on point! If you come here make sure you bring some money and dress to impress as well. Be on point when you come here. My steak was cooked medium rare and it was delicious. Very tender and cooked to perfection! Try it, you might like it!

My wife has a salt issue. We ordered takeout online and States this in the comments. She also followed up with a phone call to the restaurant to confirm and make a point if how big of an issue it is. The steak was salted and she couldn't eat it.

I’d give this place ten stars if I could! Great service, decor, & ambiance. I loved the intimate booth seating (great for a date night). They were spacing tables out for social distancing and THE FOOD.......AMAZING! By far one of the best steaks I’ve had in Atlanta (charred exactly as requested) and the drinks were delish too. The sea bass was glazed and cooked to perfection! I wasn’t overly impressed with the bacon and cheese potatoes, or the appetizer shrimp, but literally everything else was top notch. And they offer one of my favorite bottled waters (Aqua Panna) which is a plus. I’m definitely adding Morton’s to my top three steakhouses so far.

It was my first time going and it also was my birthday and they did not disappoint. I order the bone-in ribeye with the garlic butter sauce. My sides were brussle sprouts, au gratin potatoes, creamy spinach and shoe string fries. For dessert I enjoyed a nice slice of cheese cake. The overall experience from door to door was amazing.

The medium-rare bone-in ribeye melted in my mouth. My side of corn-mash and bread were excellent, as well. The service was good. Not too bothersome, but they come around enough. They didnt rush us or 'bill-hover' near closing time. Complimentary espresso at the end was nice. The steak is more than I would usually pay for one because I am frugal.. but man was it good. It didnt have me disappointed at the price.

My girlfriend and I dined at Morton's this past Saturday evening. Neither of us had ate at Morton's before, although very familiar with the chain and its reputation, therefore we definitely had a certain level of expectation. Before I continue I will warn that my partner and I both come from the resturant business, my partner having 12 yrs exp and myself having 15yrs with the last 6 being in fine dining. So my critique may be a bit more detail forward than the typical review. As I pulled up to the resturant the first thing I noticed is there is no valet parking. The resturant is on a one way street and fortunately there is a parking garage literally across the street. Mortons will validate your parking so we didn't have to pay and that definitely made up for the lack of valet. The hosts greeted me with a smile and were very professional and polite.The resturant is quite beautiful. Very dim, beautiful lighting, an impressive wine case, and a portion of the kitchen faces the dining room. It wasn't crowded at all, most likely due to our reservation being around 5:30. Our waiter was David, who came to the table shortly after I arrived, took our drink order and asked if we had any food allergies. That was about the extent of the introduction. My partner mentioned that when he approached the table he started with "will someone be joining you?" Which is a bit off putting when you havent even said hello. I also had to break an awkward silence by intiating a hello after I had arrived, so that was a little weird. We ordered 2 Lemon Drop Martinis which were PHENOMENAL. Kudos to the bartender! We were asked if we wanted to start with any appetizers, my gf ordered the ceaser and I had the Lobster Bisque. Ceaser was great, very fresh, but the Lobster Bisque was the best Lobster Bisque we've both ever had! Juicy lumps of lobster throughout and very flavorful. I noticed that when David placed my soup down his elbows were directly in my face. Mortons may not have a service standard such as "open hand" serving, but when you know fine dining its something to be expected. Our appetizers were removed and we did receive new cutlery but I did notice the table did not get crumbed. We split a 22oz Prime Rib and it came to the table unsplit, and there was no table side service offered to split the steak. No fresh pepper offered. No inquiry about if the steak was cooked to our liking, and my gf refilled her own pelligrino all night. Also, I noticed David often responded with an "mmhmm" instead of a yes, absolutely, or any other professional verbiage. Once again, Mortons may not require their servers to do these things, but C'mon guys white table cloth steakhouses with a $300 check average for a 2 top= fine dining steps of service. I want to say that David was pleasant and assisted us with all our needs, but at a Steakhouse such as Mortons I would expect a server providing more of an "experience" versus someone just being an order taker. There is definitely a difference between a "Server" and "Waiter" and we experienced the latter. The prime rib was...OK. It was cooked to a perfect medium, but honestly lacked flavor. The blue cheese and truffle butters we ordered are what brought it to life. The crab meat in the Oscar we added was very dry and bland. Granted we did not want the bernaise, it shouldn't have been dry and lacking flavor.Despite seeing steam coming from the Au Gratin potatoes they somehow became room temperature almost immediately. They did have a good flavor though, and the Tory dish (sautéed onions and mushrooms) were just OK as well. Only thing that we absolutely loved were the lemon drops and the Lobster Bisque. I also noticed that we never saw a manager on the floor. Usually management would be doing table touches and checking on guest, once again missed opportunities on Mortons behalf. Although our evening was quite mediocre and underwhelming we still tipped David %18 percent, which we don't enjoy because %40 is our standard. I can only hope Morton's raises their standards in the future.

Really amazing food, definitely great for special occasions. Had an entire booklet for wine selections and the steak (I got filet mignon) was amazing. Small concern for management - we saw a stack of raw steaks in the open kitchen area and the waiters were leaning over them to reach the plates. Hope you have safer precautions.

We walked in and were greeted by the friendliest hostess whom we had an ongoing joke with all night ( we ubered there from half a block away unknowingly lol )!! Our server was Brian who was super attentive and very pleasant! It was our 20th anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. We both had steaks, I added a lobster tail and topped it with Oscar style!! Yummmmm! The bacon/Gouda potatoes were to die for and that onion bread at the beginning was delish!!! They served us the molten chocolate lava cake for dessert and it was the perfect ending to our dinner date!

My husband and I dined at Morton's on Thanksgiving. Aaron, the Server, excels in customer service. He is friendly and helpful, and attentive. He makes dining at Morton's a perfect experience. The food is attractively-plated and delicious. We recommend Filet Mignon, Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes, Spinach with Mushrooms, and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Dining on this occasion was more memorable than usual. We had the good fortune to be seated next to a family of four who celebrated the young man's birthday twelve years ago on Thanksgiving Day. We exchanged some conversation contributing to a feel-good evening. When they left, we wished the young man a Happy Birthday. When I asked for the check, a management person came to the table and sat with us. She told us that Ms. Jemma H. and her family paid for our dining. We were thunderstruck and at a loss for words. Then I was shown a note from Ms. Jemma, and I cried at her kindness. She is an example of someone doing ordinary things extraordinarily. Ms. Jemma and her family make this world a better place.

My sister and I had an amazing experience here. The food was amazing and our waiter was wonderful! When you visit Morton's you need to be aware that it is pricey but it is worth every penny! My steak was cooked to perfection, my salad tasted like it was grown in a garden next door, the potatoes were mouth watering and the asparagus was delicious. I just moved to Atlanta and our waiter was amazing and shared some cool places with us that we could visit. Every way I look at it the whole experience was fantastic!

David was the only reason I have a 3 star otherwise I would've gave a 1 star. So we had a reservation for 845pm. Now we did miss the turn to the restaurant which caused us to get there at 859pm. We get there an the hottest tells us we can't be seated because we only have a fifteen minute grace period. Ummm not a mathematician but 859 is within the 15 min. She then proceeds to get her manager Ana. Who states the grace period is 10 minutes ummm I question that saying your hostess started 15 min she then changes and starts yes 10-15 minutes. Ok again the math ain't matching?!?! She then tells us she have out table to a walk-in. Well how when out grace period has not ended. Well we are busy so we can't give you a table you can sit at the bar. Ma'am I'm not sitting at the bar on our Anniversary. Well I don't have a table until Monday?? Ok I'm super confused when there are 10 tables I see open. Well you'll have to wait 10 minutes for a table. Ok when we get seated we are say right by the kitchen. Wow!! The upside was our server David who was absolutely phenomenal and rejuvenated the night with his great customer service and humor.

I made reservations here for NYE to surprise my husband. I really wanted to love it, but we didn’t. It was very overpriced for underwhelming food. The onion bread was nice and so was the French onion soup (though a bit sweeter than most). However, my husband ordered the signature margarita and it was $35, which would be fine if it wasn’t served in a whisky size glass. Very small for the cost. I ordered a filthy Mortini and it was barely what I would call a “dirty” martini, and I love martinis usually. The steaks: my husband ordered a filet with garlic butter and got bleu cheese butter, which he doesn’t like. The waiter was great and he did fix this. However, he ordered medium and his steak was medium rare, if we really stretch. It was honestly probably rare. I ordered the filet Oscar and the crab was dry, overcooked, and had a very fishy taste that was off-putting. We did enjoy the loaded baked potatoes. The creamed spinach had a fishy taste also. The lava cake was yummy. Overall, for a $400 meal, we were horribly under impressed and did not even eat much of our meal. Disappointing. I would like to say that we were running late for our reservation due to car trouble and they were super accommodating and very sweet about it. That was a relief and refreshing. Our waiter was very nice also.

This is a hidden gem nestled off Peachtree Center Avenue. Being here for a conference was very nice considering the adequate space. The food was delicious and one of the treats were the garlic green beans. I chose the salmon which was a great choice, however it left me wondering just how good the steak would have been.

We enjoyed celebrating my brother’s birthday at this great steakhouse. Excellent service, great ambiance, and wonderful food selection. The con about this place is the parking. It is across the street and easy to miss due to the location being downtown. I think they could improve the communication with patrons regarding the parking situation.

The food was so good it’s beyond explanation. Service was exceptional and quick. A bit pricey as you would know but totally worth an occasional splurge for a time you won’t forget. It’s true, these are the best steakhouses. My steak was the best. Not a noisy restaurant at all and our server Lenny was great! A chain restaurant that continues to live up to its high standards. I didn’t have steak there, but I had the tuna tartare and it was low quality. I could barely finish it since I found the quality of Tuna not great. The hosts were friendly, but my waitress was not. And also not attentive. The ambiance was fancy steak house style. The price of food and drinks were on the pricier side. I went on a weeknight and it was empty so no need to make a reservation.

This was a spur of the moment dinner for me and my wife. Oh how we love great service. So, immediately through the front door we were showered with the respect that paying customers deserve. It was only us two but we were given the finest seat in the house. I felt under dressed due to my Polo shirt and had to remove my hat (we were out on the town)… but eventually, the food made me feel in the right place. The drinks were tasty, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the company was awesome… one of Atlanta's great gems.

A very pricey experience lends itself well to a celebratory dinner or fancy business lunch. We were lucky enough to have discounted coupons which were honored. Remember there are no sides attached to any meals you have to buy them separately, however they are high-quality I really enjoyed the mashed potatoes. The French onion soup was very good as well. The service is extremely friendly and very efficient and the atmosphere is quiet enough to actually have a conversation.

I was so excited to eat here, but I left disappointed and hungry. We decided to come here to try something new, and change of scenery ,The food was very bland, I had the prime rib, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and it wasn’t satisfying at all, it lacked so much flavor. The lobster bisque was the best out of everything. We ate here for Father’s Day, and I wished we would of just kept out reservations at Ruth Chris. It was 4 of us so the tab was $600 but it just wasn’t worth it. My mother in law took my food home with her because I didn’t want it and didn’t want to complain and send it back. I left and had to just go by a drive threw to get something to eat. Location was nice, ambiance was nice, service was good.

We love Morton's for Special Occasions. They have great attention to detail and truly make you feel special. We made a reservation for a birthday on Sunday. The birthday boy received menu with his name, a keepsake photograph of the group and complimentary dessert. Their Filet Mignon is to die for. It is very juicy and great quality meat. Their sides are family style for sharing, highly recommend Mac & Cheese, Garlic Mash potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. We had the Grand Marnier souffle. This one was not the best. I have had better. It lacks flavor compare to others I've tried. However, their chocolate Lava cake with ice cream is just plain amazing. We will be back

I went to Morton's with a friend for her birthday. Some members of our party were almost an hour late, but fortunately, it was slow and they didn't cancel the reservation. Right before they seated us, they informed us that a member of our party was violating the dress code by wearing a crop top (with jeans), which is not specifically mentioned in the dress code. It was not extremely revealing at all. They still allowed us to be seated despite this. However, while sitting at the table, I noticed people being seated with sweatshirts and hoodies on. Also a family was seated although the children had athletic apparel. They made one of the girls put on a sweater because she was in her uniform, but another member of the party wore clothing I would consider athletic clothing. Then a couple got up and the woman was wearing a crop top and short skirt. I will give them credit, because the inconsistent regulation of their dress code did not seem racially motivated. I doubt I would go back to this restaurant again because my shrimp scampi and chopped salad was not good enough to worry about whether they will fairly enforce their dress policy. Our server, Kevin, was awesome!

Deserved a 2 star but the Mgr and waiter made proper amends. We were there for an hour and 25 minutes before we ate. There was 0 salt or pepper om my son's filet. When a 13 year old ask for salt and pepper for steak that should say something. My other son's steak was overcooked and my wife's lobster was actually raw at the end. On a positive note, my sea bass was superb and the desserts were equally good. They felt bad about our experience and comped 2 of the entries. My wife has eaten there several times over the years and it has always been great. We feel like it was a fluke, lucky us! We definitely will return, the Mgr and staff were great.

Morton's was delicious! I had the cajun ribeye, lobster mac and brussel sprouts. Aaron was our waiter and he was awesome- very knowledgeable of the menu and able to make suggestions. The setting is nice and quiet and roomy. I love that the tables aren't all on top of each other and there is enough room to have a personal conversation without the next table hearing it. I'll be back. Oh, and the cheesecake was LOVELY! Bonus is if you park in the garage across the street they'll validate your ticket.

I Went on a Wednesday night. The food was amazing. Our server was a little nicesty... wasn't really sure how to take his behavior. He was loud about asking the kitchen to replace the side with my entree. It felt like I was bothering him. He suggested another wine choice after I told him what I wanted, as if I was unsure. UPDATING REVIEW: Most new reviews are off upset people who have never been to the restaurant. - Visited this place for my 1 year wedding anniversary. It was our second time at a Morton's. When I made the reservations, I let them know it was a special night for my wife. Upon arrival, they greeted me with a smile. (Parking is right across the street in a parking deck, and the restaurant will validate). They had a special arrangement with hearts on the table and brought us a free dessert after our meal. They hostess even took a picture and printed it and placed it in a slotted picture holder signed by the restaurant. Customer service was awesome! Thanks to Lenny our server, and James.... We had a great time.

We believe it was because our party was large and he would get automatic gratuity anyway. None of us tipped more due to his lack of serving. The food runner and busser were more attentive than him-which says a lot. My party of 2 (out of 10) ordered Filet Mignon 8oz, Chicken Christopher, French onion soup and the Potatoes. Food was overall amazing except the soup was very sweet, not an ounce of savor. Which is weird for a savory soup with onions and cheese. I feel like you deserve to be picky eating at such an expensive place, and should get your expectations met. But the restaurant as a whole (as im sure reviews reflect) can be flakey on success. I may come back again, but I would NEVER take a party bigger than 4.

Two couples of us were staying in a hotel only a few blocks from Mortons. We had eaten at Mortons in Seattle several years ago , enjoyed it and decided to try the Atlanta version. We were not disappointed. I loved the ribeye, tender with a great flavor....just wish it came in a smaller version. It was 16 oz and too big for a senior citizen. Wife had lobster and said it was probably the best she ever had. Waiter (Mac) was very helpful, always there for us but never "hovering." A thoroughly delightful evening for the four of us.

Came here with family for the Holidays. I was completely shocked about how underwhelming the food was compared to lower priced restaurants with a similar ambiance. I had the crab cake appetizer. I had the salmon with chickpeas, corn and brussels. The seasonal sangria tastes more like club soda. The waitress was nice and apologetic about the wait time before we were approached about drinks. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on price for food.

I took my spouse here for his birthday and made mention when booking our reservations that it was his birthday. The host made sure to wish him a happy birthday upon being seated. When we got to our table the menus had his name on them Wishing him a Happy Birthday. This was a nice gesture being as though we didn’t ask for these additions. Our food was spectacular some of the best meat I ever had. Shoutout to the mangers and chefs that came out to greet us and made it their business to ensure our visit was the best! We made sure to thank the cooks who prepared our steak and lamb so well. I can’t leave out our complimentary cheesecake which also was delicious!

Definitely recommend Morton's Steakhouse! Upscale fine dining. Be prepared to spend at least $75 per plate or more. Ours was about $135 per plate for my wife and I. We had the bacon wrapped scallops for and app, Cajun ribeye 16oz, shrimp Alexander, sauteed spinach with mushrooms as a side. Sides are family style. They give you a soft onion bread with soft butter as well. We both had a drink each (Moscow mule and Angels envy old fashion) and tried a shot of the peanut butter whisky. We did not get a dessert and after that our meal was about $270. At the end of the day it was worth it to us. Great atmosphere, great service by Kevin, amazing food which is what we were looking for.

This is a re-review! Morton’s reached out to me regarding my bad experience and they made it right! I revisited on Saturday February 20th and this time I received the experience that I expected on Christmas night. My steak was prepared correctly and our waiter was excellent! I went Christmas Night and really wish I hadn’t! When you spend this type of money you expect a “Top Tier” experience, unfortunately that was not the case. We had a reservation our party of 6 was seated promptly. We sat at our table for about 10min before we were greeted and when we were finally greeted, our server seemed rushed and not too friendly. She wasn’t rude, she just seemed as though she was not to thrilled about being there. We ordered our drinks, appetizers and food and everything came out in good intervals. The meatballs and lobster bisque were delicious. However, when our steaks came out, none of them were cooked to the correct temp. My daughter’s steak was really undercooked and was sent back, but came back the same way. Instead of sending 5 steaks back, we ate what we could and boxed the rest to bring up to temp at home. I will NEVER return to Morton’s and will NEVER recommend Morton’s to any of my family and friends. I thought this place is was on the level of Bones, Chops, Ruth’s Chris or Rathbun Steaks, but I was sorely mistaken. Houston’s and Stoney River deliver better service and quality. Morton’s, this Christmas dinner will go down as the worst ever...Thanks for the memory!

Hostess, servers and ambiance were great but the food was underwhelming compared to other steakhouse choices in the city. $43 for a 6oz steak I could of had anywhere else just wasn't worth it. Everyone in my party who requested medium well steak received medium cooked steak, and the person who requested medium received a rare cooked steak. Not to mention the steaks lacked flavor. However, the side items were really good - brussel sprouts, au gratin potatoes, street corn, and creamed spinach - with the exception of the lobster macaroni & cheese which was lackluster. The Cajun ribeye with truffle butter is aaaaaamazing! Also, the lobster mac and cheese is wonderful. The 4 stars is because of the creamed spinach. It tasted as if some drop a entire bottle of nutmeg in the spinach. So disgusting... almost offensive. I am wondering who O.K that to be on the menu. Fiancé agreed yuck to the 50th power. It was bad waiter even admitted it gets sent back a lot and others complained about it. So disappointing. Fiancé ordered the ribeye ask medium well and it was medium rare. This is a very expensive steak house. So plan accordingly. The side are big enough for 2. Drinks a very strong and good.

Everything I had tasted amazing! If you like rum punch get the Island Bessie cocktail, it's delicious. The crab cake appetizer is 100% crab meat baked into a patty, it could have used more seasoning but was still great. The salmon entree had a nice maple teriyaki glaze, it sat on a bed of chickpeas with spinach and corn. Definitely one of the best pieces of salmon I've ever had, cooked to perfection. My sides were the lobster mac & cheese (could have been thicker), mashed potatoes (perfect), and sautéed spinach.

I went here for my birthday dinner last year with a few friends for the first time. I was definitely pleased with the atmosphere, service, food, and presentation. They had "Happy Birthday Britnee" written on the menus at my table which I had no idea they were going to do. They also took a keepsake photo that they decorated and put in a cute little frame. The food was great. I ordered the Mixed Grill with the salmon and shrimp and a palm beach passion martini which were both very tasty.

I visited Morton's as a birthday gift. I order the Mixed Grills which included a 6 oz Fillet Mignon (which was butterflied before grilling), 3 grilled shrimp and 2 bacon wrapped sea scallops. Everything was very well prepared and presented but most importantly tasted wonderful. But the biggest and best surprise was yet to come. My words do not fully express the pleasure I experienced as I dined on Morton's bread pudding for dessert. It was, without a doubt, the best bread pudding I have ever tasted. Fantastic way to top off a good meal.

Food was cooked to perfection. Most tender NY Strip I've ever had. Sides were perfect. But our waiter had no clue that he was a waiter. Brought wrong food to the table, so had to reorder the steak and when the steak came our sides were cold. So we had to reorder hot sides. We went 27 minutes without him coming to our table to bring us refills on our drinks. So Darnell got no tip. Darnell this might not be a good fit for you.

I love Morton's The Steakhouse and always enjoy my meal there. It's topnotch. Tonight I was at a pharmaceutical dinner with 40+ people so my complaints are not indicative of what a table of four would experience. Service was REAL spotty- not so much with the waitstaff as the kitchen. It took a really long time to receive our food. In fact I gave up waiting on dessert and leftfor the hotel. The broccoli was overcooked and soggy. The mac and cheese had the texture of a dish that had been kept warm a long time. The filet on the other hand was perfectly cooked medium rare, hot and juicy, and melt in your mouth tender. I go to Morton's for the beef.so I can't say I was disappointed. And I certainly understand the difficulty of plating a meal for 40, especially steak and sea bass. So a 4 star review tonight and the hope for a 5 star review at my next private meal at Morton's.

I’m a rancher from Texas, I know beef. Food was mostly good. Steak was over charred, from my point of view, and though tender, not very flavorful. . Shrimp cocktail was outrageous, the shrimp were perhaps the best I have eaten. Service was not to par for $100 a plate meal. Salmon arrived near 5 minutes late. Server was very nice guy, but got scarce after he served the entree. Not sure I’ll return. Go to McKendricks if ya want to get your socks blown off!

I am giving 3 stars not because of food, but I am marking them down because of service (I'll explain). Last night, my friend had a reservation for 9 PM for a X number of people. Unbeknownst to us, although we had a reservation, the restaurant was closing. As we walked into the restaurant, the hostess was sure to let us know "the restaurant was closed" but admitted to the establishment anyways. I am still confused as to why we were allowed to make a reservation if they would rush us through this experience. I am confident that the business made over $1,000 off of our party, and that's not including a 20% gratuity. Therefore, I was really taken aback by the visible irritation which made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted.

Honestly, the atmosphere was quaint, nothing over the top. Great wine list, although I don't drink. The crab cake was good, the remoulade that it was served with had a good flavor and scent of horseradish. Beefsteak and blue cheese salad was surprisingly fresh, considering the time of year. I had the wagyu strip, and my wife had the 6 oz filet, both steaks were cooked the correct temp, and the wagyu was phenomenal - not too much brown butter, nice crust on the wagyu. The bite on this wagyu was almost akin to biting into a grape, it burst with juiciness and exceptional flavor, the chew was easy. It was exceptional. The only complaint, if you can call it that was that brocolli, while cooked well, had someone who was super heavy handed with the garlic. I will definitely be back, interested in their prime steaks, with the exception of the marinated option. I just wanted to add, our waiter - wish I could recall his name, older gentleman, guessing from Chicago or Boston - yes I know the accents are wildly different, but it sounded washed out from a few years in the south so it's hard to tell, was an exceptional waiter, and definitely enhanced our visit.

This is the second year in a row we have chose Morton’s as our go to steak house for birthday’s and special occasions !! The staff is wonderful, our meals are always on point! The sides can stand alone as entrees! But most importantly their drink menu is out of this world with a vast selection of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers. My 1st time here...very surprised....I have been sleeping on this one. This has definitely made the cut for the top 5 steak restaurants in the city. I had an aged prime 18 oz bone in steak...a huge fully loaded baked potato, sweet corn and creamy spinach. I could not eat all of it. I was impressed and full. Service was great. I was treated like a king....I had two margaritas as well...they were excellent. I have no complaints. Additionally, I had 6 half shelled oyters... it was just ok, lol. It would have been a great nite had my dinner guest not have stood me up on her birthday. WTF! Go figure.....Anyway experience was excellent!

Customer service is everything when dining out. Unfortunately, our waitress failed in this area towards the end of our visit while celebrating friends’ birthday. Her noticeable aggravation made our visit less pleasant. Other than that, the ambience and food was delicious.

I booked reservations this past Sunday for a Father's Day Dinner along with our 3 kids ages 2, 3, and 10. Huge Mistake.. Not a place for children but we made the best of the situation. Not even a kid menu in sight lol.... Upon arrival, the host stated she couldn't find my reservation , but then someone stepped in and seated us right away. The restaurant doesn't have any high chairs and had borrowed one from a restaurant near by for a family, but it was still in use. So we decided to make the best of it!! Now to the good stuff!!!!! The SERVICE was out of this world!!!! The Manager was constantly walking around engaging with all the customers to cater to there every need. He was so accommodating to us and made us feel very welcomed!! Our server was equally attentive and didn't make us feel out of place!!! They engaged with the children and made an uncomfortable dining experience enjoyable due to their outstanding professionalism!!!! The only minor discomfort we felt was from the 3 host that were located directly in front of us. We felt they starred and whispered amongst each other when the kids became a little noisy at times . However, not even that can take away the great time we had.. Next time , NO KIDS lol!!!! The food was delicious, hot and fresh!!!! Can't wait to go back!!

Great experience. The macaroni and cheese is so good and huge portion. Ordered a Chicago Style 22oz Ribeye delicious. Appetizer baked assortment including baked oyster, scallop wrapped in bacon, and crab cake. The appetizer is just that an appetizer so don't expect to get a mini meal out of it or you will be disappointed because the serving size is tiny but quality and flavor is high quality amazing. Added a Caesar Salad which was good too and was so large had to split. The waitress was good very attentive and reminded me that they comp parking at the lot across the street. So parking is free I didn't know that and guilty of paying before because I never ask or bring my ticket with me. Waitress this time actually gave me a sticker to apply to the parking ticket. This made it free who would have known. Overall 4 and a half stars. You can expect to pay after taxes and gratuity $125 per person. I knew it was a high scale and pricey place before going so the $ doesn't influence my rating. The reason for 4 stars and half instead of 5 though is for the price of drinks someone there needs to learn how to make a good mojito.

Steak was cooked precisely as ordered, server was friendly and attentive, sides, desert, and drinks were all delicious. Table was crumbed and cleared multiple times throughout the meal, and when the server accidentally cleared a half-finished mixed drink, it was promptly replaced. The meal was not cheap, but in this case the cliché holds true: you get what you pay for.

Foodies/former meeting planner say this is an excellent fine dining establishment...Mac was a phenomenal server! Knew his wine & flavor profiles. Best Caesar salad besides mine! Most nowadays lack flavor; not this one... Full of flavor!!! Excellent fillet... perfectly cooked. Just enough char...not too much. The augratin potatoes were great in flavor but they were chunked, not slice thinly as is the most common presentation and I felt they needed more cream as the butter kind of broke down but again delicious flavor. Finished with the hot molten chocolate cake with vanilla Haagen-Dazs ice cream; perfect ending if you love chocolate. Overall love the ambiance. I used the larger handicap stall for the ladies restroom and there is no hook for your purse which is very disappointing. I mentioned this to the hostess and she said it is on their to-do list so I would think that they would get that done ASAP as people who dine here would normally have nice purses and do not want to have to stick them on the floor which is pretty gross so I hope the manager jumps on this ASAP! Also the tap water is very chlorinated... off-putting. Very comparable to other establishments of this caliber in price, presentation, food quality, and taste. I would say it's comprable to a Capital Grill, Bones, Chops, etc. The portions were extremely satisfactory. Even things that we split were more than fair in their portion quantity. I think this would be a perfect place for a date, celebration, special event, business meeting / dinner.

Just ok. My filets at home are more flavorful. The tables were very close together and we were privy to the conversation two tables away. The server was good but, and I'm sure he has to do this, he tried to sell us on joining the club - getting discounts on other restaurants owned by the same group. I don't want a pitch. In a rare move for the Holidays, Morton's opened its doors for lunch. Totally stoked, I rounded up some colleagues and sat down to an amazing steak and lobster oscar entree. This dish was super indulgent and sublime! For an appetizer, we shared the bacon wrapped scallops with an apricot coulis...delectable! We had the oysters and Escargot to start, the special filet mignon and bone in ribeye, chopped spinach salad and a ceaser salad, lobster mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and to top it a Sundae! Just wish our server was a little more attentive!

I always have a good meal at Morton's. And it is consistent. I prefer the porterhouse. Plus, it's one of the few places in Atlanta that I can get a souffle for dessert. Chocolate is my favorite.

I live in the south born and raised. Down here we like our steak's and we like 'em done right. maybe you're already familiar with "Mortons", but I wasn't, until recently on a weekend away from my home, outside Birmingham Al, I was staying at The Hyatt Regency, I asked the guest service, for directions to Ruth's Chris Steak house, but he asked me if I had ever eaten at a Morton's, I hadn't, after breifing me about the similairities, and that it was a block and a half away, I decided to take his advice, and I'm glad I did!! I went with a filet with mashed potatoes, one of the best I've ever had A Real Deal Steak out house is getting harder and harder to find these days. And the few that are still standing true the their roots, Quality Meat, Great service. like Morton's Is worth EVERY PENNY!!, people always say you get what you pay for, and at Mortons that is very true,...In the most POSITIVE way, check it out you wont regret it.
