Very nice establishment. Staff is great. Small but there are two floors, downstairs is basic and chill, upstairs is cute and comfortable with VIP sections. Both floors have full service bars. Food took a while to come out (2 hours) but was decent.

Where should one start... ifffffff you want to go to the ghetto and be fancy this is YOURRRRRR spot!!!! Price matches the area... NOT... but the food was good... well the food I had... my counter was dissatisfied with the wings but said the dirty rice was EXCEPTIONAL. I had the Caption Snoop because, crablegs and shrimp.... It was a nice size, the stuffed crab was a great size and very flavorful, the shrimp were a nice size and cooked well ... think it's a joke that it comes with fries and it's $11 more for corn and potatoes when that's in fact what people would want... but overall filling... The service was slow... more in terms of the wait time for food in a place with 3 sat tables and two had already been sat before we entered... Oh n the wine came in a ghetto cup lol but it's cool I drank it...

To start, the food here is amazing! I have tried a number of things on the menu and everything, each time, is just as delicious. They also have great music playing and it gives you a relaxed, neighborhood feel. The staff is nice and at night it becomes more of a lounge upstairs with a live DJ and the lights being dimmed. I continue to frequent because I cannot stay away from trying each item on the menu when I am craving seafood.

I'm going to start by saying that the food was delicious! But the service.... whew! SLOOOOWWWWW! It took a solid 30 mins for us to get our drinks and our hookah. It took another 30 mins to get our food. I didn't get any pics of the food because after waiting for an hour to get it, I was starving. The waitress was very friendly but she didn't check on us often. I had to keep trying to get her attention. I ordered the Castleberry fish bowl, but she rang up the more expensive El Patron fish bowl. It took so long to get the drink that I just took it. It was good but it was really just a big $45 32oz margarita, and it wasn't strong. The hookah was good. One of our orders was incorrect because it was rang in incorrectly, but it took so long to get the food that we just took that too. $175 later and we had a wrong drink, wrong food order and slow service. It was a nice vibe, but they should definitely work on the service. Everything here is way too expensive for the service to be subpar. Update: I've gone back a few times and the service has improved A LOT! I've never been upstairs, so I can't speak on that, but service downstairs has improved for sure

Giving 4 stars because I only came for the Sunday night poetry night. Show started @ 8 and I arrived at 8pm. We ate and had drinks and the show still had not started. We finally left after continued waiting. I will come again cause the food,service and dj was great but starting your events on time would be recommended...

I went to Esco Seafood for the first time for a friend's birthday in May and ordered the chicken and beef sausage gumbo. The ingredients say "chicken, beef sausage and vegetables simmered in a savory stew, served over rice." If you take a look at the video I uploaded, you can see that wasn't what I received. It tasted like tomato soup and there was also no rice. I asked our server about the dish I was given and apparently that's the "gumbo." Overall, the vibe was okay because our server and the people sitting around our booth upstairs were nice/fun.

Food was delicious, but cold! Had to ask a passing waitress where to sit. Found out you seat yourself. Server finally came over to us and took our orders. Food took forever to come out and when it did, it was cold, like it had been sitting out. Smh. My sis and I waited so long for our food and my friend never even got his. Luckily the manager comped his. Shouldn't have to pay for something you never received. Server was ok and food was delicious. I got the salmon with mac n cheese. It had crab on top. My sis got the pasta. That's why I gave a 3, but y'all shouldn't be serving cold food.

Drinks were 🔥 omg... Bri the waitress did beyond amazing... came here for Poetry and Comedy Odinero the dj invited me and it was great. Make sure you only bring 2 poems. They will cut you off Prime time.... sswirl liked the vibe but beware the crowd grows quick .. litty!!!!!

This place always comes thru with great tasting food, music and vibes. While there is an upstairs and downstairs, it's not that big so expect a little bit of a wait for seating unless you're lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. They were sold out of the whole snapper when I went this last time. I was disappointed. But I got the salmon new Orleans and it didn't disappoint. The rumberry lemonade is also a hit! Make sure you pay attention to your receipt, as they add in gratuity no matter the size of your party. Also, be sure what you order is what you want and make sure the waitress hears exactly what you ordered. Because if they ring up something wrong or if you don't like something, or change your mind, they'll try to tell you it can't be removed from your ticket. Other than that..... this is a great spot!

My experiences here are never consistent and it sucks because sometimes everything is great. The past two times I’ve come here the food hasn’t been worth the price. Tonight I ordered lemon pepper wet wings and they were the driest wings I’ve ever had. They were so dry that I could taste the cartridge of the bone through them seasoning. And I was told that I wouldn’t receive a refund even though I didnt eat the wings. Sent them back and was still charged full price for them. The drinks on special were half the size of their regular drinks meaning that you get no real deal. It hasn’t been worth it the past few times and I’ve been and I’ll honestly probably never come back. We also couldn’t get our checks separately lol… just a terrible night The meal was refunded after speaking with a manager.

God's Promise

This is not a place for a quiet dinner. Had to endure listening to profanity all night in the music and from the staff. Things that should not be talked about in the work place. If you are into a lot of profanity then this is the place to go.

They say 2 Chainz own it. It was koo nice joint 2 levels. Right on edgewood. It's kinda like bourbon st. All the restaurant/bars on one strip. Live music and local rappers ....

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. The night was almost ruined due to the bartender, Lakesha. My group wanted to sit in a couch area so we could have a hookah and SHE let us know that we only way we could do that was by purchasing a bottle, so we did. However, when we went to sit at a couch section, the waitress told us that we were supposed to purchase the bottle from her instead of Lakesha. We notified Lakesha so she could clarify with her co-worker but she refused. When we asked for a refund, she also refused, even through the bottle hadn't been served yet. Ultimately, a manager had to get involved to transfer the tab to the waitress. It seemed like a simple solution but Lakesha was just very petty and combative. Thank-god for the manager, Precious because she saved our night. To make-up for our issue she upgraded our bottle and gave us a free hookah. Precious is the only reason that I would consider giving this place another try.

FULLY INSPECT YOUR DRINK... We came for happy hour two weeks ago... the first round of drinks both my friend and I got we both had an ant 🐜 in ...so we sent them back for fresh ones... My next one had an ant as well but my hostess saw it right when she set the drink down and immediately took it back thankfully! Then the 3rd one I started drinking after I inspected BUT one slowly floated to the top and there was another one chilling at the bottom. I was told it was based on the syrup they use for the drinks but I was over it at that point. The seafood basket was okay, decent happy hour pricing too. The upstairs area is cool as well, I was assured there wouldn’t be any ants from the upstairs bar since the issue was “more common downstairs” probably won’t return unless coming to smoke hookah and chill honestly. The service was great though! Staff was very friendly and apologetic so no complaints towards them. Oh and Gratuity is already included.. you’re welcome!

I had an incredible time at Escobar! I received great service and the food was AMAZING!! I ordered Salmon Alfredo with broccoli and it was the best salmon pasta I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend that you visit Escobar for good food, strong drinks and dope vibes! 10 out of 10

I've visited here twice. The first time their oven was working so we were unable to order what we wanted off the menu so we left. This time we sat at the bar and our mixologist per the receipt was Margaret H. She was very attentive and personable. We got there almost close to 4p and tried to order off the dinner menu but was told they were on brunch and needed have our order in before the kitchen closed at 4p. Still wasn't able to order what we wanted but the shrimp and grits was amazing nonetheless and the drinks got me right where i needed to be plus the flight of shots. I'll visit again but I'm trying to eat dinner so we will go later in the evening.

The spot is cool but I paid $48 for a lobster dish that was cold and not very well seasoned. Small portion. The slim chick with the thick lashes and long braids, Cle I think her name is, is not personable at all. I was very disappointed. Music was good Dj was on point on a Saturday night.

Me and my husband went last night. There are two levels. More chill on the first level. The hostess was sweet and very friendly. We had to wait for a table so we went to the bar. We had to wait about 15 min for him to return. When he did it was worth the wait drinks were excellent! I had the “snoop suit” he had the “OG”. When we were seated we again waited for the server. Ordered food. The oysters as an app. They were good but portions were small in size. Same with our meals(baby crab legs). Food was good though. To sum it up good vibe good drinks. But you will have to wait to eat.

The food timing was all off. They brought our apps out with our food. Neither of them hot. Considering the timing, it should have been good and hot. Waitress had a rude tude (tipped anyway but....) gave us one piece of garlic bread (to share, I guess). Burnt on the outside, chilled I'm the middle (not sure how that works 🤷🏾‍♀️). The actual taste of what we had was nice. Maybe on a different day with a different staff it would be better.

This place is owned by 2Chainz, and the overall vibe is cool. The food is fairly good, with the wings making a surprisingly marked impression. They feature a full hookah bar and a full alcohol bar. Upstairs features half a car woven nicely into the surrounding backdrop. Discreetly enjoy yourself ;).

This place is a hit or miss. I gave 3 stars because like others, the food. My $30 tab included 9 fried shrimp and a side of Mac and cheese.... not worth it. I should have stuck with the salmon. The bar tender and atmosphere is definitely a vibe.

The bartender Margo is amazing! Her personality and customer service is 5 stars. If you are at the bar ask for Margo. The ambiance gives good vibes. The Platinum Seafood Bucket is very good. I will be coming back.

Went there for the 2nd time last weekend on Saturday with some friends for some drinks & food around 5pm. Vibez were great and the hookah girl Lisa was amazing!!!! She is honestly the best employee they have & the only one we encountered from both visits with great customer service skills. She was very attentive & deserves a raise, okay. The rest of our service was mediocre drinks took forever would have ordered more but for it not to be packed it took our waitress forever to bring them out as we saw them sitting at the bar for minutes at a time. && apparently at certain times they only serves fried foods & not the whole menu before 6pm which sucks

Had the salmon linguini (note domt care for pasta) it was a 10/10, seasoned well, piping hot! - Server (Sun...?)was very sanitary, I watched her sanitize her hands at least 5 xs while serving us - VIBE! Great music (rap/r&b) cool crowd - Manager very personable, went to every table to greet guests (Langston) checked on service ... ! A++ will recommend to peers as we travel

First time coming tonight and it wasn't a real good experience. The pros we came in and got a seat quick, the waiter came right away & gave us our drinks & tookour orders. Got the drinks in seconds but not the food. We waited like 1 1/2 hrs for the food to the point I wanted to leave! The waiter told me I couldn't cancel my order and I'm like whatt.. She went and got the supervisor then the food came right out like literally right out.. Then alot of people started getting food back to back so something was going on in the kitchen. The food was really salty. Got the 2 in 2chains.

The DJ was lit. The food was great and they were able to accommodate my party of 12. There was a 300.00 fee to sit, but it did include bottle service. Brunch menu was limited but still had good options. I will return

Monday was National Margarita Day and my girls and I were served by Trinity. First, let me say the atmosphere was super chill and calm for a Monday evening. Second, who’s going to miss out on $5 Margaritas?! Not I!! Trinity was an excellent host and an even better bartender. It was everything! Not to mention the food was excellent. I came to your establishment about a week ago and ordered a hookah with Slim; she’s so full of life and her hookah was so smooth! She brought out the hookah in less than 10 minutes which I think is an unmatched skill. I hope to see her this weekend when I come back!

Service a bit slow. We had a section with bottle service upstairs. We ordered food and it hadn't come after almost an hour so when we finally found our server to ask about it she said they were out of what we ordered and thought someone else came over to let us know but nope no one came back to say anything. To make matters worse, the kitchen was closed so it was too late to get anything else at that point. Disappointed but it wasn't our 1st visit and won't be our last as I don't expect we'll have that same experience.

Well they ran out of crab claws and a few other crab dishes. It's the second time that this has happened in less than a month. So if you are going here for the crab claws, call ahead or get them from Publix @ ($30/lbs) and make them at home. IJS Update 4/7/21: The Owner reached out to me and apologized for my experience. So I gratefully except. And in return i will continue patronizing this establishment. I also am updating my rating to 3 stars. I appreciate genuine effort of service and acknowledgement from black leadership.

Esco Seafood seems to have utilized an inexperienced or simply unmotivated "cook" rather than a Lead Chef to run the kitchen & prepare the food on this Saturday night.. i was also asked NOT to extinguish my burning J, UNLESS I PAID FOR a VIP Bottle section upstairs!! Umm, I came for the food, sir.. PREPOSTEROUS & BEFUDDLING.. 2CHAINZ would NEVER ! 🤯🤷🏾‍♂️🤣
