Update 11/12/2022 I wanted something different so I figured lets try The Lemon Pepper White Fish, this was pleasantly tasty it was Grilled to Perfection . The Green Beans had some pieces of Ham in it , The Mac and Cheese was creamy but I can't stress this enough they really need to start allowing people to order Their Rice . This Rice is sooooooo good I can't say this enough but back to the Fish . I was about to order it Chesapeake Seasoning Still but I'm glad I went with my first choice ( Lemon Pepper ) Plz. I will be ordering this again and don't worry I already told my Facebook Friends about and some even said that they would order this themselves... Dontrellis

Critique & Criticism

I walked in the young lady was on her phone (with a head set on of course). It did not take away from her delivering good and accurate service. I got my order & enjoyed every bit of it. They change their oil routinely. There is not any pressure on customers nor staff to be masked up, at the same time stay safe and aware of your health.

Lunch in the West End. The cashier was very nice and also the CD team. I told her I was starving should I get the tenders. She politely said. Hhmmm your starving, get the big fish. We both laugh. It was fresh and fast. I ate it all! Clean environment and fast service during lunch rush!

It had been a while, but it was good. I went through drive through. Needed a little patience, and ended up having to go back to retrieve a missing portion of my meal. Cole slaw that day was a little suspect. When everything is fresh tasting, good choice. Nobody was nasty. Everyone was accommodating and friendly.

The wait time is long sometimes but the food is cooked fresh the ice is awesome the waiter had awesome customer service this the only location I come too I never had a complaint on the food always fresh and if I have it was always minor and fixed with no problem.

Good food this actual location needs a through cleaning. Walked in doors are nasty ,windows and some of the tables and the condiment area was horrible. I asked for tarter sauce and ketchup from behind the counter due to overall appearance.It was a bit before noon and there wasn't a long wait. This isn't my normal location but I still don't want to purchase food from a restaurant that's visibly nasty. Get someone to clean up(there was one worker at the counter and the cook) Short staff or poor scheduling

Captain D's is always my go-to place for fast consistent, inexpensive tasty seafood. I've never had a bad experience here. Once in a while it cam be a little slow, but the service is always friendly and the orders are always right. I'm a big fan of the butterfly shrimp meal. 20 fried shrimp, two sides (get the double slaw) and hush puppies. It doesn't come with a drink, which is a downside for me. You have to buy your drink a la carte. Once in a while, I get a dessert. The cheesecake is creamy. Just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Don’t ever swing in if you’re in a rush (not even the drive through). Slowest possible service ever. I was once in the drive through for 13 minutes as the only client. I would have left but had already paid. When the food does finally come, it is really good and often healthier than what is typically available in a rush.

As far as Captain D restaurants and fast food restaurants go, in general this particular one gets a 5 star rating. The staff have always been on point, the food has never been but hot and good. The place is always clean and I always dine in just so I can eat the food fresh and hot.

5 min wait in drive thru. Service was with a smile. Food was not up to par. Lobster on rolls.was not cold, room temperature. Had a few shells in meat. Rolls not crispy. Baked potato was in microwave more than 7 minutes. Cheese & bacon bits were dried out from microwave too long.

I'm not a fan of fish but I came here with my parents because they love Seafood. I'm glad I came with them because I got to try something different. My mom ordered the Louisiana hot fish which was actually pretty spicy it lived up to the name. Her plate came with a toasted bread , hush puppies Fry's and one big strip of the spicy fish. Me and my dad got the sampler platter which let you try out different food like fish and their chicken tender, hash puppies, sides you can choose from, and butterfly shrimps. If you get the big sampler platter you can share it because it gives you a chance to try different items at a reasonable price. My parents really enjoyed this place because of the variety of seafood it offers. The staff is very friendly and helpful when you had questions about food items. Overall experience was great especially someone like me who is not a fan of seafood. I enjoyed everything and so did my parents.

The night manager and crew are the best . I think if I did not see one of them at work . Would have to buy small to test first . But I have gotten the best food and customer service even with very large orders at closing. When so many places you get a mess at closing . I thank that team every time for help feeding my family .

The service was okay. What I wanted to order from the drive thru window was the Captain fish sandwich that I see on there menu and I was told that they don't sale that any more they salee the giant fish sandwich instead. But the 1st thing I noticed was I wasn't greeted by the cashier. I was told to go ahead with my order as if we have already spoken.

Food was good, the only thing was the meal was priced full meal but then they charged another 2.45 dollars for drinks. Also, they didn't have crab cakes. I heard the cashier yelling at the BOH like they was in the woods. The customer service was a 1 the food was 2.0....

Lines are usually too long! The food is usually hot though so I guess that's a plus. It's not home cooked but it's that classic captain d's flavor. You can not eat it everyday. Service here is 50/50, you never know what you might get.

Tamara Wymbs, who I'm thinking is the MOD today (7/18/18) is an OUTSTANDING employee. The cashier seemed to be having in issue with my card and Ms.Wymbs was asked to come up front to assist the cashier and help us.
