Went here for a date night this past Friday. The food was well seasoned, the mash potatoes were amazing and my steak was cooked perfect. My husband had the salmon, asparagus and rice. He was a little disappointed he couldn't get the salmon burger but they didn't have anymore. The drinks were strong and good. The ambiance of the main area was nice, but we were seated in the area near the outside patio. It wasn't as nice as the inside decor and ambiance. Next time I will ask to be seated inside by the bar.

My first time coming here was on my 21st Birthday that was August 21st in 2021. My Experience at Blaze was Excellent!!!!! I got the fried brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese, along with the corn in a bowl. And all of these meals were absolutely delicious as well as perfectly cooked! Tables were perfectly clean and the floors were polished. PS this place requires a reservation to come here and you have to follow a specific dress code which is to dress classy and cleanly, so make sure to follow these rules before you come. Another thing that I loved about Blaze was the black interior! They have black napkins, black walls, black tables, black seats, just a whole black theme that I thought was a really cool touch to the place. All the employees were very friendly and the staff including the cooks did a great job preparing the food too. Would love to come back here some time. Definite five stars. Great business, great workers, great restaurant.

Live in the neighborhood and pass by this place all the time. First time visiting was Father’s Day (with my dad) and I have to say we were both impressed. The food was really tasty and plentiful, and their featured cocktails are really strong. What impressed us more was the staff. From the young lady at the door, to the manager that walked around making sure we were good. My dad really appreciated the special attention and our server Harold was pretty awesome and knowledgeable. Had the mussels and shrimp linguini and the mussels were cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the live DJ they had that night. Try the Blaze Sidecar 👍

Our Dinner Club visited this restaurant and like the other reviews stated, Allison was awesome(hope she gets a promotion or a raise). My friend had to send the mash potatoes back because they were cold, hostesses was incredibly awesome, bathroom was very clean & decorated nice. So overall I would tell the kitchen staff to work on sending hot food out to guest! I would probably give it another try!

The service - So….I finally got to try this place and I was disappointed with the service. It was a Sunday night so not busy at all. There were maybe 3 other customers/tables. We had to wait almost 15 minutes before someone even approached our table then waited almost an hour for our food. One of my friends ordered a baked potato and it was cold. She sent it back and asked them to reheat it and it came back cold again. She couldn’t eat it. Not sure what they were doing in the kitchen but they were not busy at all. The food - Delicious! I had the salmon burger and it was good! Seasoned perfectly. The drinks are good and not watered down. My cousin had the chargrilled oysters and I tried them for the first time - delicious! Over all - Nice place. Good food. Train the wait staff to do better.

Came here 8.19.22 The location is great. Not In the city with congested traffic.......... We got seated fast and our server was nice.... Kind of disappointed they were out of the salmon burgers.... Always bad when an item is out in my opinion at a restaurant... I will say the drinks were strong.... They did had a good music play list but need to fix their speakers... THE MASH POTATOES ARE A MUST TRY. steak was good as well as the salmon..... This is definitely a place to try at least once.

OMG!!! This was a WONDERFUL experience. Kay host was amazing. The food is a different story. The seafood fritters was lacking the seafood but the sauce was amazing. Only one steak for the day when originally going for the 22 oz so wasn't able to get my request. Hopefully next visit they will have more than one. The Southern Mac-n-Cheese is definitely overpriced to be plain and no southern flavor. But the seafood fried rice made up for the missing flavors. Lastly the rolls was undercooked and would suggest to request butter with the cinnamon sauce that it comes with. The menu does not display the automatic gratuity but the service was well deserved. Take your own olive if you order a Martini... OVERALL definitely worth going back... HH 4 - 6 at the BAR top only!!!

Service...... phenomenal 👏🏾 🙌🏾 Food..... Amazing Drinks.... Strong Atmosphere.... Inviting and warm. Husband and I out celebrating each other. We were seated at the round table, and it had a glass candle on the table. Very romantic touch. The staff was very engaging, polite and professional. WE WILL RETURN!

The food was okay, alittle pricey for the portions. Deviled eggs were fine, and the burger was great. Crab cakes were okay and the seafood mac and cheese needed more seasoning, and more cheese. Our server was very mediocre, she was constantly on her phone, but she didn’t care because the tip was already included.

Me and my man came to support Kandi and her lovely restaurant. However, it took an hour to get two orders of Blaze Cheeseburger meals well done. The waiter didn’t check on us during the wait to see if we needed refills on our drinks. This restaurant should at least give bread during the long wait time if no one is going to check on their tables. You can tell the water came out the faucet, they should filter their water. In closing, the ambiance was nice and played good music. When we finally got our meals the burgers was good but alittle dry. Also, the host was professional and polite

Blaze was very delicious!! We drove from Huntsville Alabama with dinner reservations. I really enjoyed the grilled pork chop with the seafood rice and twice baked potato and my wife had the lobster tail with the twice baked potato and a martini. The food was fresh and hot and the alcohol was on point. We will definitely be back

My girlfriend's and I planned a Girl's Night Out. We decided to have dinner and drinks at Blaze. We were greeted at the door immediately by the hostess, she welcomed us to sit at the bar or on the patio while our table was getting ready. Once our table was ready our Server Kei (spelling) also greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome. She waisted no time taking our drink and food orders. She provided us with updates on our order. My apologies in advance for not taking pictures of all the food, but I will say this the food was excellent! We had the deviled eggs, the calamari, and the turkey wings. I had the Surf n Turf with a fried Lobster tail accompanied with a Moscow Mule and Lemon Drop shots. They also had a DJ, you can't go wrong with good food, drinks, music and if course your girls. This was definitely the perfect way to end the week.

Everything was excellent! It was my birthday, and Kandi greeted myself & family like we were apart of her family. Our dinner was highly pleasant to taste, delicious. I had pork chops mashed potatoes & spinach. Drinks were also pleasant to taste. Overall rating is a 10 +.

Had a blast at BLAZE! Came down for the weekend with my family and from the door man, to the hostess to the waiter and assistant the experience was amazing. Had the pomegranate martini and then the peach martini and I was not disappointed. The crab cake is to die for, just wish it came with more. The flounder is delicious with a hint of spice, I don't do spicy but I ate it up. The mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese is tastebud heaven. Shout out to Quanny, Harold and Key they held us down and took real good care of us.

My family and I visited Blaze for lunch and had a great experience. The host was very friendly and accomodating. Our waitress was polite and attentive. The food was delicious, my daughter could not stop raving about her salmon, rice and mac and cheese! Atmosphere was engaging, music selection was appropriate. We were the first in line at opening, nice atmosphere not a large restaurant so that was nice and that a closed on outside area that's air conditioned as well, great customer svc, food just slightly overcooked but i used to work back of the house so i that's how it is sometimes. But the great thing is that Todd Tucker was on a call outside and could not do pics but I was pleasantly surprised when he came and found us at out table do pics and he was so humble Now That's how you get my patronage! Great experience overall but I would not try to go evenings as there will probably be lines..oh it's $$ too

Our party had a 1pm reservation on Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious, no crowd, and great waitress. Jill you are wonderful and pleasant. My party was from out of town and had a good time. 2 things that was disappointing No baked potatoes until after 5pm.and they were out of green beans. The drinks were excellent too.

The food was reasonably priced from a steakhouse standpoint, and the food was GOOD.... I don't know what they did to the French Fries, but that right there was SOOOO good! I got the Blaze Burger, and it was done at medium well, which tasted good as well. Lastly, Key (if I'm spelling her name correctly), the waitress, was very professional and courteous, and the overall atmosphere was quite lively, with strong Neo-soul + R&B music going on during the experience. I definitely would come back to enjoy this experience again!

My experience at Blaze Steak and Seafood today . I had the Turkey wings as an appetizer Which was the best turkey wings of ever tasted. My entrée was New York steak which was cooked to perfection. The ambience was nice however the down side it took about an hour for the entree to come out . I did let the sever know about how long it took us to get our food. . I will go back because the food was delicious.

Kandi and Todd this restaurant was wonderful, beautiful inside, the waitress there tonight she was the best she provided excellent service, great knowledge of food the nicest waitress i ever had. i would rate her as 10 Plus…great recommendations she suggested and that bartender though he is the best at drinks those drinks was 🔥the food was the best good I have even so far in Atlanta those lamp chops yummy… you definitely have the perfect staff there..keep up the great work. I’m not from Atlanta but this food will make me come back definitely.

My husband and I had such a great experience at Blaze! We had 1PM reservations on 3/19/2022 and was seated promptly. The hostess even made sure to serve the reservation guest before the walk in guest. The ambiance and music playing was great! The bartender did not skimp on the liquor in my martini. And we thoroughly enjoyed our food (charred oysters, turkey wings with mac n cheese, and fried lobster tail with mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts. That was my 1st time trying Brussel sprouts and they were excellent! My only complaint was that it took almost an hour and a half to get our meal, but the food came out hot (NOT as if it were sitting under a heat lamp) so I won't complain TOO much.

The restaurant is nice. I like the fact that they don't want a certain element of society at their establishment. They got armed security at the door. I have mixed reviews about the food. The twice baked loaded potato was my least favorite dish. The steak was ok. The blaze wings was absolutely delicious. The lamb chops was seasoned & cooked to perfection. The pork chop looked great & was 4 times thicker than the ones we normal buy from our local grocery store. My friend said it was awesome. Overall, it's a good (B+ to A-) restaurant to patronize with. 😁

My twin brother and I went for our birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 🎊 tonight (Monday night) and we had a good time. The place is beautiful and love the ambiance and the music. We got rum punch and strawberry margarita for cocktails then turkey wing appetizer. Good starts! I got the salmon with Mac and cheese, green beans and broccoli while my twin brother got the lamb chops sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes. We both loved our entrees then we were offered cake by the restaurant complements for our birthday. Like most restaurants they are short staffed so gotta be patient but everyone did their job and treated us well. I will definitely be back to try other dishes at this black owned business. It is great for date night or meeting friends. Great job with this concept and happy that black owned steakhouse was brought to the Southside of ATL.

What an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I traveled from Houston to Atlanta for my birthday to have dinner at Blaze and it didn’t disappoint! From the ambiance to the service to the food and drinks—top notch all of the way! Allison was a great server and answered all of questions with no hesitation. Manager Shantelle came over to check on us and made small talk. She even brought over the Texas-native GM (can’t remember his name—sorry) to talk with us. The hostess at the front was warm and welcoming and we bonded over being Aquarian women! I can’t wait for my next trip to Atlanta for another visit to Blaze!

The steak was good, the brussel sprouts were good. I was told the burgers were good. Everything else was decent to subpar. The website says there is a dress code but it's clearly not enforced. Very limited menu. It was not busy at all but food took a while to come out. Luckily we had a good waitress.

The food is delightful to the tastebuds! Everything is delicious! There's room for improvement in the service. The wait for refills, dessert, the check, was long. You shouldn't have to wait 1/2 hour to pay your tab. I definitely recommend dining there, and I will visit again!

First time going to this spot and I must say it's a dope little place with a simple but tasty menu. I went on a weds about 730pm, it wasn't crowded at all. Our server was awesome and explained our questions nicely and knowledgeable. Me and my friends had the turkey wings as appetizer and holy moly them joints are very good. I had the lamb chops with Brussel sprouts and mash, we also had the seafood fritters also. Everything was good, I will returned to this spot. The menu was basic and str8 to the point, not alot of choices which is good.

Dinner tonight was delectable!!! The charred oysters were cooked to perfection. The deviled eggs with bacon, OMG, the best I have ever had. The sweet pickle on top was a great surprise. It was like a party in my mouth. The Chilean Sea Bass with the mango salsa was an outstanding combination. Let’s not forget the side of macaroni and cheese that was rich and the layer of cheese on top made me think somebody’s grandmother was in the kitchen. I can’t tell y’all about the chocolate cake that I ordered to go because I gave it away☹️. Don’t sleep on this restaurant!!! Ask for Allison…she’s going to take great care of you and ask her to make you a Blaze Sidecar. You can thank me later😊. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Atlanta!!!

So I'm from Buffalo NY. So I'm here visiting... was suppose to go to old lady gang... but decided to go here. Ok. So we get the charbroiled oysters... delicious... and we got the steak and lobster...with seafood Mac and cheese... steak good... seafood Mac and cheese delicious... But fried lobster tail was raw... not done at all... so we sent it back and he brought the charbroiled lobster tail... still not done... so we was a little disappointed. But presentation was beautiful.

Love the decor at this location. The service was exceptional!!! What I don't understand is how items on a menu are 86 (not available). The gumbo and cajun pasta are highly recommended. Good place to try.

Everything about my first experience here was great from the time I walked in. Shout out to our servers Key & Jaheim! They both were very attentative. Those deviled eggs were sooo good! The mac n cheese, steak, double baked potato...all 10 of us had no complaints about the food, the service & the vibes.

Nice experience...unfortunately we picked a bad evening because they were out of 4 items that I was interested in having(Porkchops, mussels, salmon and deviled eggs)... The gumbo had a great favor but was a bit salty. I will have to try again soon.

First I want to say I loved the vibe of this place, the music selection was awesome. I loved the turkey wings, I think this was my favorite and the drinks are good too. Now I do think the Korean soy sauce on the lamb is not a good match but that’s my opinion. One thing that I didn’t like is that you are pretty much forced to tip your waiter/waitress 18% as it is already added to your bill, now I will tip as I see fit but what if my server wasn’t pleasant or attended to my table as they should which was the case on yesterday when my friends and I dined there. He was ok but didn’t do as much as he should have to get the generous tip that he got due to the 18% that was already added. Nevertheless we will be returning.

I've eaten steaks at most of the major steakhouses across the US and beyond, so when I say that the ribeye at Blaze Steak and Seafood was one of the best meats I've ever eaten, I truly mean it. On a trip to Atlanta, out of love for the Real Housewives franchise, I wanted to see first hand Kandi and Todd's flagship steakhouse. I'm so glad I did. Everything else about the place was top notch. Good cocktails, deviled eggs to die for, and one of the best playlists I've heard at a restaurant in a long time. You'll love it.

We went to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday. The servers were nice, and the drinks were great. The food was subpar for the price. The Cajun Snapper & rice were flavorless, which was disappointing. I enjoyed the grilled squash & peppers. The fried lobster, grilled pork chop, & NY Strip were good and seasoned well. The music playing was nice but seemed to be on repeat.

I came to Blaze for my birthday yesterday, loved the atmosphere. My drinks were SO good made by the bartender, Alonzo, he was very accommodating! I enjoyed the Calamari and lobster with fried rice. Will definitely be coming again.

First time visiting this spot. It was nice! Food took an hour to come out but it was well worth it!! The waiter was sooo nice and professional and the drinks were awesome!! Our visit to Blaze was disappointing! We waited about 20 minutes until we sat down, then we ordered our food at 7pm and didn’t get served our food until almost 10pm when they were closing, ridiculous!! When we got our food it was cold the only thing that was fresh and hot was the Brussel sprouts. I asked for well done steak and it was still very pink. The bartender was very helpful and nice it wasn’t her fault so I give her 10 stars on her service, drinks were 10/10.

My first time visiting ATL and my gf surprised me with reservations here for my birthday. Awesome waiter Jaheim he checked on us frequently brung water and menus immediately. The surf and turf was great my fav part was the seafood Mac. The Blaze margarita definitely got me on my level. Good music great atmosphere. Definitely was not disappointed.

We are visiting Atlanta from Chicago, and we wanted to eat at a famous Atlanta restaurant. Our friends recommended Blaze steak and seafood restaurant. I had the surf and turf. It tastes phenomenal both well seasoned and juicy. We were immediately seated and looked after exceptionally well by our server, Jaheim. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanted excellent food and great service.

I had the best experience in Blaze today. I have to give high complements. First all when I come thru the door Quanni greet with big smile and very excited to see me and friends a party of 8 then the wait staff Harold came and he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu to give us best suggestions toward what to try. Harold gave us EXCELLENT service also Key who assisted Harold was very good. We try almost all the appetizers they had on menu were delicious. My entree was lamb chops were excellent. We definitely come back to Blaze when visit ATLANTA.

I don't watch reality tv shows so I knew nothing of this place. My sister is a big fan of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi and the owner of this restaurant. The food was great and the staff was greater. The staff knows how to have a good time. We stayed for karaoke and had a ball. I will be back the next time in ATL.

Just had a great time at Blaze! Ordered the pink unicorn special drink, at the suggestion of my server Alonzo, it was delicious! First I have to say that our server Darnell was very friendly and attentive, 5 stars. The food was good, not great but good. The reason I'm only giving them 4 stars is because we reserved a private room for a fee. The fee wasn't the issue, it's the fact that the room looked like a cheap club room. The tables were wobbly and basic, no table cloths, nothing elegant at all. I've had private rooms at 5 star restaurants that don't charge a fee as long as you order and tip good, which we do. All in all it was a good night. It was my birthday and the drinks were good so that's a bonus!

I came to Atlanta for a photoshoot and to meet Tyler Perry An while in town I stopped at Blaze about 2ish in the afternoon An let me tell you……the food was great!! Very nice An classy to my liking! Akesha was my waiter and she was great! She has great customer service An I really enjoyed speaking with her. I ordered the lobster tail with potatoes and broccoli which by the way was great to my taste! The blaze employers Are like one big family, they treat everyone with respect as soon as you walk through the door. The manager made sure every customer was comfortable as she walked around each table to check how everyone was doing. The dj whoever this person was……#AWESOME!! I was moving and grooving to every song as he played great music, nothing ratchet or degrading to the soul like todays music and that’s on Period! Mesha who was another waiter was great as well. I also spoke to a few others whose names I did not catch and they were all great, well mannered with great customer service all around. This is a great place to go to on a date, by yourself, or just with friends. You won’t be disappointed!! That’s actual factual💯 They also have hookah at night just fyi which I’ll be trying out when I come back in town so if your ever in town……STOP BY BLAZE!! You won’t be disappointed.

Tried this restaurant for the first time today. Sat at the bar, Alonzo was working the bar. Super great service, very attentive and polite. Had the oysters and Cajun pasta. Everything tasted good. Would definitely recommend and come again. Reservations highly recommended.

My husband and I decided to celebrate our 16 year anniversary at Blaze. We were very disappointed with the over an hour wait for our entree. To make matters worse part of my meal was luke warm and the southern mac was bland. My husband waited an additional 20 mintues for his salmon because the cook read the order wrong. I meant he never looked at the order, he just assumed it was regular. Once the order came it was still wrong and my husband was not happy. Our waiter Mecca tried her best to make their wrong right. Poor young lady was more concerned than the manager. He ( the manager) came over with a non chalant attitude. Listened to our concern and said, I can only comp your appetizer.. smh A good manager would have at least took that meal off being as though my husband only ate part of the meal. Mecca the three stars are for your exceptional service. You are a true gem young lady. I would like to thank you for your excellent service, despite the piss poor work ethics of your colleagues.

Before I go in I would like to say that the customer service standard is top notch at ALL of the Tucker's restaurant's. Thanks to our server Jill!!! It gets no better than her. Now with that out of the way. The drinks were GREAT!! The shrimp taco appetizer was good. My spouse's Cajun flounder was seasoned perfectly. I ordered the stuffed chicken and must say I was underwhelmed, run amok, hoodwinked, bamboozled, and led a stray. Creamed spinach on half of a chicken is cute, however, let's take this one back to the drawing board.

My friend came down from DC to celebrate her birthday! Blaze did not disappoint! Awesome ambience! The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were appropriate. I left full and satisfied. I am going to start with the positive results of this visit. It was birthday and my hubby and best friend took me here. I was expecting the previous reviews to be hit or missed. Our waiter Alonzo was great, the ambiance was beautiful, beautiful enough to take pictures, their drinks were according to them not skimpy on the liquor and appetizers calamari was good. Ok here we go, although our waiter was nice I did have to ask him to please put on a mask. The salmon tacos were bland, which was part of the appetizer. Now for the entrees, we ordered 2 specials which included ribeye steaks and fried rice, and 1 ribeye with loaded baked potato. They were ordered med well they came back well done and the potato barely had anything on it. The bill comes with an already attached 18% gratuity which my hubby didn’t see until after we already left the restaurant. So for the terrible food our waiter was paid almost $100 in a tip…let’s not forget the steaks are priced over $65 per steak. I do believe in the power of reviews but also believe in giving black establishments the benefit of the doubt. With that being said my birthday dinner was a disappointment. 3 stars = 1 for Waiter, drinks and ambiance

We were sat at our table and received great suggestions for food and drinks by the host and waitress. We both ordered the lamb chops and martinis. It was delicious! It’s a limited menu but the food was top Notch! The flavor was beyond amazing. The drinks are definitely strong and worth the price! We came on a date night and live a hour away but it was worth the drive 1000%! The manager also came over to make sure everything was going good. The portions were a great size, temperature was just right and I was FULL when I left and I eat ALOT lol. The ambiance was laid back and artsy. Great 90’s selection of music. Our server (Darnelle) was extremely attentive, professional and accommodating. Hello everyone!! So I heard so much about Blaze, Todd and Kandi’s new restaurant that I decided to try it out. After arriving and having a minor set back and almost not getting in due to the shoe policy we ended up coming out okay and getting in. I was a little taken back that it was in a strip mall but don’t allow that to hinder you. So where do I start. The staff was amazing my daughter and I really were made to feel like rock stars and family. The food was delicious and seasoned to perfection with a lovely southern touch. I must give shout outs to the amazing bartender Bri, only get her to make your drinks, she’s awesome. Our server Jill was knowledgeable, personable and funny too; and I also have to mention their extremely kind and accommodating general manager, Fred. My husband and I visited Blaze Steak and Seafood over the weekend and we had one of the BEST dining experiences ever! The food was so FLAVORFUL. We ordered the Cajun pasta, lamb chops, and Chilean sea bass. Everything was perfect and the presentation wonderful, again, along with the flavors being AMAZING. Our experience was made even better by a very fun and gracious young lady named Brianne who was our bartender. So we were a group of 8. We got in early and we were immediately taken to the patio to wait for our table. The host Quanny was funny, kind and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our waiter Harold was just the same. He kept the laughs coming. He knew the menu front and back. He was very attentive and service was fast. It was not as busy when we came so that was a plus. Kei also was helping Harold and was very personable. I love when the staff enhance the dining experience. We had such a good time. Everything was delicious from crab cake to oysters to lamb chops. Drinks were good. Wine was good. Charred oysters were not very good, edible, but bland and under cooked. The best thing we had was the deviled eggs, they were amazing. Lamb chops were good. On the bill were three drinks, three appetizers, a $41 bottle of wine, a side salad and one order of the lamb chops. $300 with tip. Music was really loud, making it hard to talk. I will not be visiting again; it just wasn't worth the price.

I had a great time at blaze steak and seafood. I had the lamb chops with the paloma. The lamb chops were very tender and juicy, and sometimes when I order drinks from here, I feel like they are either too strong or too weak, but my bartender Alonzo put the perfect amount of tequila in it. Not only did he make my drink to perfection, but he also had outstanding customer service skills. He is very funny and personable. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and if you go, see if Alonzo is there.

My husband and I came here for a midday date. We did make a reservation, because we’ve known this place to be busy. However, we didn’t really need one because we came right when they opened and we were able to just walk right in. This was our first time at blaze. So I gave this restaurant three stars. I’ll tell you what’s amazing, the chicken wings with their special sauce. The wings are simply amazing. My husband ordered the steak and I ordered the lamb chops. My husband said his steak was good and the twice baked potatoes were good. The lamb chops for me were yummy . The food overall was good, it did not blow out socks away. My deductions and my rating came from the lack of grown and sexy ambience. I thought blaze was supposed to be like a upscale grown and sexy place, and it was not that at all… it’s giving sports bar. When you compare it to Baltimore seafood and crab, which is directly across the street the decor is not even on the same level. I feel like at blaze If you wonder why is this place on the more expensive tip it’s simply because of Todd and Kandi‘s name. It has nothing to do with the service it has nothing to do with the ambience, and it has nothing to do with the vibe. The chairs and tables were also very off putting.

Our server Taisa was fantastic! She was a great listener and communicator. The food came out in a timely manner. I am only giving four stars because I entered the main room and water dripped on me from the pipes in the ceiling. Me and my guest were seated in the patio area which lacked upscale decor (nice white table cloths covered in glass will help the decor match the upscale prices). The food was quite delicious and worth the costs.

Decided to have dinner at Blaze for a girls night out so I made reservations for a Friday evening. My friend ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. She said her meal was great. I tried a piece of her lamb chop; it was delicious. I was planning to order the stuffed chicken but our server said it was no longer available. She offered the jerk chicken but I decided to go with the Delmonico ribeye with loaded mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was absolutely delicious. The steak was juicy and succulent and the sides were seasoned perfectly. We also shared a side of macaroni and cheese and the complimentary yeast rolls—amazing. We couldn’t finish our meals because the serving sizes were huge! Our martinis were also good but a bit on the weak side. Our server was soooo nice and kept checking on us. It was a bit pricey-$180 for both meals (this was with the 18% gratuity automatically added to the bill for each meal). We then checked out the bar. I ordered a shot of patron for 16! $16…for one shot?! I gave the bartender $20 and she didn’t return my change. I was going to tell her to keep it but she didn’t even give me the courtesy to tell her. She just assumed the change was hers. The beautiful ambiance, great music, delicious food, and great service made it worth the price. I will definitely be back!

I went on a girls trip for my friend’s birthday and this was the only place she wanted to go. We drove 9 hours to come to Atlanta! When we arrived, we we’re almost turned around by security because of my friends’ attire. We spoke to a manager and she let us in. We were starting to get discouraged then, but they sat us down quickly. We sat down and ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks were amazing!!!! Our food came out shortly after that. We were disappointed. We had to send our steak back because it was under cooked. My steak was salty and my friend’s steak wasn’t seasoned enough. The manager basically said that we were stuck with what we had. A waiter said that we could talk to Todd. So we got to talk to Todd and voiced our concerns. He was very nice and open to what we had to say. That’s what made our experience better! Overall, we did a great time. The atmosphere was very chill. I would definitely love to go back again.

The food and service was very good. Jermaine, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu favorites and provided all the available seasonal flavors for the martinis. The table bread was warm and honeylicious. The charred oysters were so good that I forgot to use the hot sauce. The grilled lobster, mashed potatoes and charred brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly. My friends had the lamb chops, gumbo, grilled flounder with jumbo shrimp and salmon tacos. All the food was delicious and the cocktails were fabulous! I will definitely come back.

He found the bar tender and basically gave her the look not being rude and she was the sweetest she had forgotten it was Monday, she didn’t want to take someone’s table she was still in weekend mode. He also forgot our drinks. After we reminded him he only brought one. When he brought the check I asked about my drink and he said he fogot to tell me they were out of strawberry for my strawberry lemonade. I would have taken regular lemonade. He never asked. We never got refills on water. It would have been nice since I never got my drink. My boyfriend was never offered a refill on tea. He gave my boyfriend the check, I was fine with that however I took it and handed the waiter my card (he saw me get it out of my purse) because it was his birthday and I was paying. When the waiter brought my receipt and card he gave it to my boyfriend and proceeded to discuss the added tip and lack of paper to give me a receipt. I was livid!! He took my credit card but couldnt discuss the receipt with me. Not good. That alone will affect me returning. I got shrimp and grits. It was very good. My boyfriend got salmon. He said it could have been cooked a little more but was good. Great atmosphere. Not too crowded. We didnt have a reservation but they seated us right away. Kandi and Todd were there greeting everyone and taking pictures. Everything was clean and the workers were friendly.

Calamari and fries were too salty, the burger was missing flavor. Huge piece of meat and no special sauce for the actual burger. Was missing something that could say ok I never had this before.

I liked the simplicity of the brunch menu....Server-- needs more training, education, and tools in "Being of Service", for example--Do not just stand to the head of the table and hoping that the guest knows that you need assistance. Don't just give the guests the kraft of Mimosa, in hopes that they can pour they own-which was wrong flavoring- Pour the 1st glass for each guest. Server needs more Being In Service education and tools. Food was good. I enjoyed otherwise.

We waited 3 hours for food the 30 min drinks would never got refilleds we had to find the server to get refill drinks she was a sweetheart and very patient we stayed in the back area almost 3 hours we entertain ourselves there was not a lot of communication is very important when it comes to service I've been in the hospitality industry for 38 years you cannot really blame the team is totally in the hands of management there has to be order when it comes to servers and kitchen the kitchen manager and timing on food I must say I'll serve it was fun and beautiful I went to talk to the manager but she turned her head and walked away I love Kandi and Todd I admire the so much and and they are a pillar and I'll community and I respect them but I think intensive training service training and learning how to do things in order so that you don't get so bogged down timing in the kitchen is very important there's a step by step procedure when it comes to service ordering food picking up food and continuing to check on your gas the food was awesome we enjoyed it it was very good I had we had no complaints about the food I guess you will be back and I'm sure things will get better and sometimes when you have a turnover starts with the management team if I can be any help at any time as a consultant or come in and do it since it's raining service I will be more than glad to that is my community I live in and I think we should always support our community once again thank you so much for everything and for listening the best to you all and I know this is going to be a great place and it's still going and getting better Gino Scott

The atmosphere was very nice and we were welcomed in without a reservation. 3 stars given due to my stuff chicken not being stuffed, nor seasoned. I had half a chicken with a heavy white gravy with potatoes and carrots. It was bland and I was not happy. The server was very nice, but assured me he would speak with the chef b/c evidently this happens often!! Best part of the meal was the appetizer (crab cake) and orange-pineapple mimosa.

When I got the the young man asked what time was my reservation, after telling him I didn't have one he told me it would be a 45 minute wait. He took my name a phone number down on a napkin. After waiting for sometime I went back in to check on things, this young man was gone for the night and Noone had no idea we were waiting to be seated, I was told they weren't taking any walk ins. Luckily I asked about being seated at the bar, they served a full menu and we were able to eat.

On a Thursday at about 1:30 p.m. I made a reservation for 2:30 p.m. via Google. The directions were easy to find and there is plenty of parking. this restaurant is located where the old Gladys Knight chicken and waffles used to be on Cascade. Our experience was delightful, with the exception of the hostile gentleman by the bar who asked my husband to take his hat off rather aggressively. Other than that: the waiter was very knowledgeable and super kind and paid attention to detail. My husband and I ordered cocktails which were quite delicious and strong (these folks are classy so no skimping on the alcohol over here). the waiter also brought us out the complimentary bread which is like a Hawaiian roll but it's plenty to share for two or three people it's very pillowy soft and sweet. Then we ordered appetizers I ordered the calamari which came with a sweet chili sauce and a ramoulade sauce which both were delicious. On to dinner, I ordered the salmon and rice pilaf and substituted the sauteed spinach for brussel sprouts (and I'm glad that I did because the brussel sprouts were hittin') and my husband ordered the stuffed chicken. We actually shared our meal just so that we both could experience the food as this was our first visit to this restaurant. We found both meals to be quite flavorful and the portion size to be adequate. I don't think that they had mimosas for a weekday however I would have loved to have Mimosa with my meal but I settled for a cocktail (I thought it might be a little early for cocktails, but it's 5 o'clock somewhere!) It's worth a visit if you are anywhere in southwest Atlanta. The only reason why I couldn't give it five stars is because the experience that we had when we first walked in the door was not a positive experience and it almost ruined our lunch date. But I promise you other than that I would have given it five stars because it's worth it!

Well what can I say. Reservation was for 6pm and we werent seated until 645pm. Given the option to sit outside and wait while our table was set. It was COLD outside. Smdh. Once seated and ordered drinks we were informed the blender was broken, no pineapple juice, no lobster tail and broccoli. I wanted my favorite drink Liquid Marijuana but they didn’t have all the ingredients. Cajun pasta was good. Two ladies in our party had mashed potatoes, they didn't like them. Can't review as they hadn't opened on day i attended. A Thursday, around 4. Saw cars parked outside, assumed it was help peeping for customers. Saw on the news later two employees had a shoot out with a warrant issued for shooter. I'll give it another shot on another day and repost. Excellent service since we arrived just as they opened. We had asked Google for a place with shrimp and grits, only to find out that it is Sunday brunch ONLY. Short wait for the food. They should serve the crabcake sandwich with sauce, lettuce and tomato on the side so not so sloppy. The penne pasta sauce casserole had too much cheese and was greasy in the bottom. It was a HUGE portion but I couldn't take a doggie bag because of the grease. Much too expensive for such mediocre fare.

Pleasantly surprised. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon at 230p and had made a reservation online, but they weren't full at that time and we probably didn't need the reservation. My wife ordered an unsweet tea, the salmon dish over rice ($25), and the Mac & cheese as a side ($10). Tea was disappointing since they had no artificial sweetener packets in the restaurant for some reason. Salmon dish was a generous portion and was prepared well. The Mac & cheese was one of the better examples we've had at a restaurant. I had the seafood po'boy with fries ($15). The sandwich was large and filling with ample shrimp. Fries were seasoned well and didn't require ketchup. Server was polite and prompt. Many of the small tables including ours and another guests were off balance, wobbly, and needing adjustment. Decor and music were nice and created a good environment. After reading a lot of mixed reviews I was skeptical going in, but overall I was impressed and pleased with the experience. Pricing seemed fair for the experience. 18% gratuity automatically added, even for our party of 2...but this just simplified checkout. Good experience and would definitely visit again.

Definitely wanted to support Todd and Kandi’s restaurant while in town. My Husband and I were greeted nicely and seated immediately. We got our food in a timely manner which was great because I was hungry. Since we stopped for a light lunch and drinks, we got the Blaze Side Car which my husband thought was delicious, deviled eggs with bacon, gumbo, charred oysters and the crab cake. Everything was delicious besides the crab cake. The crab cake is mainly breading with minimal crab meat. Skip the breading and it would be perfect. Overall I would give Blaze a 10 out of 10.

My food was good. I had oysters for appetizer and crab cakes for entrée. They only had 2 servers so we had a wait on our food due to 2 large parties. Our server explained that to us upon introduction and tried her best to accommodate us as best as she could. Anyways first of all I traveled from Michigan to visit this place and was very disappointed. I have a few concerns but I'll just say the food was verreyyy basic. When i go out to dinner I still consider it as a treat and I could have cooked better at home. The deviled eggs were runny and why add an extra $2 for shrimp when it's a cut up piece of cocktail shrimp. They didn't jazz it up with Cajun seasoning or nothing. I thought this was an upscale restaurant. Even a Ruth Chris kind of vibe but really it's more like an outback. Very disappointing.

The website comes off as upscale, but the venue itself is lackluster. The staff could use some work. Why did it take so long to be greeted. Reserved the large section (party of 16) for my husbands birthday dinner and what can I say…Mask were worn, the food was great (Lobster was the favorite), the drinks were sweet and strong, and most of all Darnell and the crew had great customer service and was very attentive to our needs as a large group. He wrapped up our dinner with slices of cake and played an outro song “Whole lotta Money” by Bia by which we formed a soul train line out of the door. Great experience. Great times! Would definitely do it again!

So the food was decent ( what I did eat) and the ambiance was nice as well. I want to say the waiter was good. The downside was the food took a good while to come, and when it did, my lamb chops and mashed potatoes were cold and there were no Brussels sprouts on my plate (comes with the dish). I had started to eat because I had already waited so long and was hungry. Then the waiter took the food off of my plate and put it on a smaller plate, and took it to the back. He came back with complimentary Mac and cheese side dish and said they will remake my dish. After another decent wait (not as long), he came back with the same food. Now my Brussels sprouts were cold from waiting. Now I had dry lamb chops bc I’m quite sure they were reheated. Maybe that will fly at red lobsters but that was not okay. Update: went back with family because they wanted to try. This time almost everyone’s food was cold, maybe like warm. We didn’t even bother to complain. Safe to say the family was not impressed. The drinks were great though.

The dinner was absolutely AMAZING ! The mash was really whipped with so much flavor ! The music was A1 giving all classics . Jermaine was our waiter and he did a great job ! Will be back when in ATL :)

I'm a big review watcher and to say the least I love me some Kandi and Todd but the reviews had me a little nervous. Needless to say you can't believe everything you read. I went in yesterday with my daughter and friends and everything was gud. I had the pork chop which was seasoned to perfection with mash potatoes and salad just the way I make them at home. Yall please don't just rely on reviews go try them for yourself. I will definitely be back for a date night real soon. (Sorry no pics it was soooo gud I cleaned my plate literally)

The customer service is friendly and professional. There was no wait time. We were greeted by a friendly greeter. Our server was patience, professional, and kind. He provided excellent customer service. My only compliant is the wait time for the food. It took a very long time for us to receive our food, but the overall experience was good. We came for early dinner/late lunch at 3:15. Since we did not have a reservation, we were asked to come back at 3:45. We came back and were seated. They were not at capacity but that seemed to be on purpose. Despite that, the service was super slow. Which was one of the overall down points. The other negative was that for mid afternoon, the music was waaaaay too loud. We couldn't hear each other and only got a break when they stopped playing music for about 20 min. But, the food was so good. EVERYTHING was cooked perfectly. My husband got a ribeye and it was cooked perfectly medium. It was juicy and flavorful. I got the sea bass and the sear was great. The rice and asparagus were also really good. For an appetizer, we got the chargrilled oysters. So good. We will be back with a reservation. The downsides dont outweigh the positives. And the ambiance was great also. Liked that the tables weren't too close together, there was plenty of space to feel comfortable.

The waiter read the menu and said the kitchen had a mix up. By the time I got the nice hot potatoes we all finished brunch. My friend had the lobster on the waffle. She said the lobster tail was good,, the waffle was soft not crispy.. The staff is pleasant. Clean restroom. And nice atmosphere, socialdistances. They add gratuity to your check. And the tip is for additional tip. I hate places that add gratuity. I gave the waiter an additional tip even though it was already added go my tab.

Ate at Blaze for lunch with a coworker and had the crab cakes with rice pilaf. The crab cakes were just like I like them: not overcooked but firm and brown. Seasoned well with a nice flavor. The rice pilaf was hitting tho... and I'm not a big rice person. It was accompanied by a small spring mixed salad and mango salsa. I'm greedy; so, I didn't inquire about the orange sauce under the salad/crab cakes or the official name of the pineapple salsa. It was delicious 😋

I saw so many mix reviews so I thought I would add my 3 cents. We arrived on time for our reservation, and were promptly seated. Our server was Allison and she was outstanding. I ordered the pomegranate martini with the seafood gumbo for starters and both were delicious. I like how Allison allowed us enough time to finish our appetizers before she asked about our dinner entrees so I didn’t feel rushed. I ordered the lamb chops, the portion size was plentiful and it comes with two sides which is really good for the price. Now the “sautéed spinach “ came out the can and I made sure I mentioned that to them. Other than that I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely go again!

My experience at Blaze wasn’t the greatest I’m leaning more to an 2 1/2 star establishment.The staff were very nice and professional ,but the food lacked in quality. The turkey wings were very dry and room temperature ,and the seafood fritters had 1 shrimp in 2 and just breading in the others. I ordered Lamb chops for my entree and they were ok the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. My husband ordered grilled shrimp they were salty ,but he liked the green beans and rice we also had 1 drink.Our bill was around 160.00 and I find that it’s a little over priced because the food isn’t up to the standards of a 4 star restaurant. The vibe is great and I loved the music.

First of all the service was awesome. Very friendly & attentive. For appetizers we ordered the deviled eggs(awesome), calamari, lemon pepper turkey wings & fried brussel sprouts. Everything was good however the brussel sprouts could have been cooked a little more but nothing to complain about. Entrees were crab cakes w/rice pilaf, fried lobster w/jambalaya & fried lobster w/fully loaded potato. The lobster was large. The jambalaya did taste like box rice. Oh, he drinks were good too.

The service and experience was HORRIBLE! I had 7:30 reservation. It took our Server Darnell 30 minutes to return to take our drink order. We provided him with not only our drink order, we order appetizer and our food. 15 minutes later he stated my drink was at the bar, but was waiting on the other drink to be made. And hour and 15 minutes from my arrival We still have not received the drinks, or appetizer. Meanwhile the table next to me went to the bar to purchase his drinks,. However that same table and another table in that same section who arrived much later after me received their drinks and Appetizers. Now I had to get the Manger involved. As punishment for complaining the server stopped serving our table. When I finally received my appetizer he didn't come to the table to see if we needed anything or to clear the table when the food came out. He wanted to ignore us until I had to bring it to his attention. His tone was curt and U had to get management involved again. The service continued to get worst and a new server was provided to work the table, but this time the experience was ruined. Darnell continued to be passive-aggressive with his behavior. The man followed me out of the restaurant screaming at me telling me to leave as I was walking out and making other rude and threatening remarks. I was charged an automatic 18% for tip. That is ridiculous for service that was this horrible 😕 Needless to say I don't recommend going here. I know that this is just one bad experience, but management did a poor job in my opinion holding him accountable and managing the situation. It should I never went this far for him to be able to disrespect me and my guest to the point that he did.

A great experience and the food was great. One thing there was a wait by the hostess who was very busy directing people on the outside eating area and directing the patrons coming inside to dine. He could of used a little bit of help. Our waiter who came over to assist us was very friendly and was very helpful with the menu and ordering special drinks. My lady was please with her drinks and she allowed him to mix up something he felt she would like. Will definitely go back again and I will refer people to give it a try. The website mentions 15% gratuity would be appreciated, but 18% gratuity was automatically taken. The quality of service we received didn't warrant that much of a tip. So, the food was good I'll start there! The seafood pasta 💣 after it was rectified by not having all the seafood in it... Even the bartender where we sat noticed it was lacking, but as far as taste & sauce ratio 4 sho you don't have to ask for more SAUCE(in my best Rick Ross voice)! The lamb was good as well! The bartender Alonzo was superb! Very attentive, drinks were good he even suggested where to get hooka later! Quani the manager got us in at the bar at 10pm for my cousin who flew in from DC for her birthday! Everyone was super dope & nice! Only flaws about an HR for our food to come & no tissue in the bathroom.

My experience @ Blaze was marginal. Starting outside from the parking lot....the Blaze sign above the door is captivating. Whoever designed it did an amazing job. The guest looked like the club. The front door mat was dirty which made the enrire front look dirty & not as classy as the website made the resturant look. No excuse for a cheap dirty door mat....ridiculous. Sweep your door mat & keep the glass door clean. The menu prices we pay should pay for a broom, dust pan, & glass cleaner, & cleaning rags. Inside: again the resturant looked more classy on the website. I guess you pour your money into the marketing to get people in....aka get their money. Biz 101....lol. I cant even describe the inside other than those concreate floors & wack tables. Not sure what Kandi & Todd was thinking when it came to the design other than...."lets keep the design cost low." From the website I was expecting sooooo much better. I will say Kandi & Todd must put money into training their server's. Our server was the best. You would have thought we were his only guest. Im sure he had other guest but his attention to our table was so on point....never experienced any service like that. He never once had the y'all taking to long or y'all getting on my nerves or I do not want to be here today attitude.....never not once. I noticed the same service with another nearby party. The servers with all due respect gave "butler-style service." The food was good (I had the lamb chops & brussel sprots)but the mac & cheese was to salty. When cooking mac & cheese & when using more than on kind of cheese you have to watch/control your salt content. I loved the grown& sexy music. Now this next one is a big deal. Rest room was not dirty but NASTY! I know we enter public establishments at our own risk these days in this seaaon of Covid. However, there should be no excuse for a nasty rest room. We still want to ensure safety.....Covid era or not. So my assumption at the front door seeing the dirty cheap door mat was on point.....it sets the expectation. Fix yo entrence to match that beautiful & captivating "Blaze" sign. According to the way the website looked & that Blaze sign I expected a higher standard. Again, the menu prices we pay should be enough to buy quality disinfect, cleaning rags & whatever else it takes to ensure safety. In this season of covid maybe hiring some bathroom attendants to ensure the rest room stays in top-notch shape. Make sure you pay the bathroom staff well.....lol after all we are in the era of the "great resignation." Help is hard to find & I realize folk are just not showing up for work too. But fix the restroom situation. I think Blaze can be waaaay bigger that it is if more money is invested into a bigger space, nice high-end wood flooring, more booths to expound upon what is somewhat already there & thats the intiment setting. Also some nice live smoorh entertainment (no ghetto rap...just.jazz and or r&b) helll Kandi's voice is verrrry nice she can do the live entertainment real easy & even her Xscape group members can do guest solo appearences. Just get a bigger space & invest more into cleaniness & internal design. I just feel Blaze was a thrown together/kitchen-table concept....I see the vision & what Kandi & Todd are trying to do but I also see a big lack of monetary investment & Blaze could be soooo much more if just a little more love is poured into it. People will support & pay for quality & safety. I will continue to support ....ill come back, ill tell my family & friends in D.C. about Blaze so when they come to Atlanta they will want to experience it.....but if I do my part with putting the great word out about Blaze....Kandi ....Todd u all have to clean that front up & keep the rest rooms clean....thats a must. Blaze is apart of the "black family" & we have a standard. Oh the door mat should have a more rich look. Best wishes.

Wow, the place had a makeover and looks warm and inviting. We were greeted with a friendly smile by the hostess. She's seated us after a small wait. Knowing this was a new restaurant, we were not sure what to expect as far as service and timing. Our food order came out in a timely manner. Ordered steak medium and was cooked to perfection. Shrimp & Grits were delicious. I would have to say by the reviews they have definitely worked out the issues from the opening. Got to support our local restaurants so give them a try.

The food was good. I was expecting a fine steak house ambiance/experience and I didn't get that. But I can appreciate the owners quest to bring a steakhouse/seafood to that area if town. I visited from out of town, I was excited to attend but not impressed at all. They had basic cheap chairs, no tablecloths and to -go boxes in the back of the dinning room on a table, felt more like a cafeteria then a steakhouse. If you're looking for a fine steakhouse experience this is not it.

Our server was great, drinks were great, but the food could be better especially for the price. My friend had lamp chops which were good, but the other food was mediocre at best. The salmon alfredo was basic and the salmon was super small. The seafood fritters were nothing special. The prices just didn't match the food quality. Most of all we didn't realize until leaving the health score was 77. We wouldn't have eaten there with that score.

My husband ordered the lamb chops. He said they had a great taste but were small. I had Chilean bass. Very tasty. We also had 1 appetizer and a cocktail each. Grand total $141.00 with the 18% gratuity. With prices like this we should not have to eat off of plastic plates!!! I rate 3 stars mainly because our meal was priced too high.

After reading the reviews I was definitely skeptical about going but man, I’m glad i didn’t listen to those others! Def 5 stars! Jermaine was my server and he was very attentive even from his greeting! The gumbo was A1 and the drinks were on point. The servers showed great teamwork and all. The service was awesome and last but not least the food was great. The jambalaya wasn’t spicy as I’m used to but it was definitely a different taste but good. Will definitely be going back!

Went to Blaze today and wow is all I can say. Yes The waiter Jermaine is legendary!!!! Polite, makes the best recommendations and very accommodating. The food is amazing!!!! We had the lobster Mac and cheese and the chicken and waffles.We scraped the plate!! First of all ask for him he is bomb! What a great experience!! I will be back when I visit again!!!!
